Quirky Maverick Uranus now in Earthy Taurus

Saboteur-in-chief Trump and those of his ilk continue to attack, pillage, and damage the environment as they make the plundering of America's natural resources easier for industry corporatists (his backers) to grab, run, deregulate protections and injure the health of the American people. Astrologically this seems apt while Trump's guiding planet Uranus careens through earthy Taurus, money sign of environmentalism, growth, greenery, possessions, pragmatism, and intolerance. Financial disruption is now predicted by economists and others and an economic recession seems to be forming with Uranus in Venus-ruled Taurus and Saturn in its own sign of Capricorn (never a good sign for markets). So under the heavy influence of the titanic Saturn-Pluto Conjunction of January 12, 2020, conditions of compression and a new order will become more and more apparent. Or perhaps I should say, will be forced upon society via the abuse and misuse of power (Pluto) and control (Saturn) even more than before. For most people, removing Trump from office would be satisfying and could help matters yet our problems would remain awaiting solutions.

Now looking at Trump (if we must), that fellow I call Spanky, we know that the influences of Trump's 2019 Solar Return Horoscope ('SR') are active for one year until his birthday in 2020. So if you wish, check out the chart where you'll find 'criminal elements' (Jupiter-Pluto-MC) and a first house Uranus Rx in Taurus suggesting unpredictable, disruptive events, even shocks. Plus, his SR 2019 Uranus is apex of a midpoint picture with Sun (ego; personality; essence; the goal) and Neptune (deception, fraud, delusion, propaganda, undermining, sabotage) so that channeled through Trump we have potentials for:

'Upsets caused by ignoring reality; adjustment of old dreams to fit newly developing situations; indifference to life or others while inwardly escaping' (Munkasey). We should add that budget deficits, an inflated treasury, drug problems (Trump's too?), a leader's impractical schemes, and/or unkept promises are a few of the potentials of the Sun-Neptune pair.

In closing here's my April 23, 2018's post Uranus to Taurus: "Nature's Revolution" showing all three Uranus to 00Tau00 horoscopes, the third and last of which occurred this year on March 6, 2019 just prior to the New Moon @15Pis47 conjunct Achernar, star of crisis at the end of the river and/or the risk of rapid endings. So of course, we know that natural disasters cannot be ruled out. And no, I don't like typing and fussing about such dire topics but I do it for the sake of America and for you so that you don't have to.

What Did Rachel Carson Discover? "Silent Spring" - C-SPAN interview

Quite a while back I published the natal horoscope of Rachel Carson with a few details and here it is as previously displayed:

Curiously, Carson's Pre-Natal Solar Eclipse Series is the 17 South and prior to her birth, 17S manifested @22Cap56. I say curiously because 17S happens to be the Series we are now in since the Spring Equinox Solar Eclipse @29Pis27 is in effect until at least September when a new eclipse occurs @20Vir10 in the 18 North Series. As you know, 29Pis27 conjoins the Aries Point (00Ari00:00) of World Manifestation, Prominence, Recognition, and Fame but the 29th degree of any sign is a critical-crisis degree. And actually, I believe the 17S eclipse remains in effect for the year until Spring Equinox 2016 in tandem with the Aries Ingress 2015 horoscope.

(An eclipse near the Saturnian South Node of the Moon indicates that energy rushes out of the chart, not in, as with a Jupiterian North Node eclipse.)

In addition, the March 2015 eclipse conjoins Carson's natal Ascendant and in my estimation describes the desperate condition of planet Earth now that Robber Barons and their plundering descendants (both biological and ideological) have pillaged so many of our planet's resources, then refused to take responsibility for the messes they leave behind--or will leave behind with the carnage ongoing. No one can say that Rachel Carson didn't warn us.

So now we're being warned yet again via the 2015 Spring Equinox Solar Eclipse at crisis point...

So how about a worldwide concert for toxin awareness and removal--and for holding the corporate culprits accountable for the cancer and other diseases their greed has caused the world?

Rachel Carson May 27, 1907

Early this morning, marine biologist, teacher, and writer Rachel Carson (the reason we have an EPA) had her 100th Solar Return, which is when the Sun returns to its natal position. This may occur within a day of the actual birthdate, as you see.

For sixteen years Carson worked for the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service so she could support her widowed mother and other family members. Her testimony on Capitol Hill led Pres. John F. Kennedy to form the EPA because of her consistent efforts to sound the alarm on DDT and other chemical pesticides--which she accurately termed bio-cides--and which continue to affect--to poison--our environment and our health today--from our children to our honey bees and beyond.

Rachel Carson's natal Sun Gem/Moon Sag personality blend gave her an excellent writing ability--she made science accessible and beautiful to the layman--and her love of travel (Sag Moon) was handy for a marine biologist's journeys.

Airy/Fiery Sun Gem/Moon Sag is an intellectual combo, with a deep curiosity and an ability to communicate flamboyantly. There may be an emotional immaturity residing within this eternal student and a healthy helping of the scholar.

Outspoken, with a love of ancient learning, this blend is friendly, yet impatient, enthusiastic and restless. It's a very romantic combination in spite of her being denigrated in her lifetime as a "frustrated spinster" by detractors who wanted to undermine her message, her warnings, and her science.

This LOE feature tells of the FBI dossier on Carson--it's all redacted (blacked out)--with the exception of one word: RUSSIA ! Back in those days, the Cold War was raging (and being spun) so it was enough simply to be linked with the USSR--however tenuously or off-handedly--to undermine anyone's credibility. Ye olde propaganda campaign...or so they thought.

Thing is, the direness of her warnings and predictions were soon so patently obvious that it must've been difficult to sway all but the most partisan industry types and high-handed tycoons with their bucket-carriers, for she took on industry, government, and science all at once. A female David vs Goliath.

As I studied her day-of-death chart (April 14, 1964; age 56) from cancer, I couldn't help wondering if her work with chemicals had anything to do with triggering her illness. Know what I mean?

Carson's marvelous, pioneering books, Silent Spring (1962) and The Sea Around Us (1951) are always in print, still timely, plus Silent Spring is currently ranked 1,113 on Amazon!

Natal Pluto trine Chiron:

Pluto is the link between our solar system and the galactic realms while Chiron links the inner planets with the transpersonal (outer) planets and is the primary ruler of ecology.
