Jupiter Hearts Pluto 2020: A Grand Year for Plutocracy and Exploitation

A previous post appeared here on SO'W concerning 2020's three conjunctions of financial planets Jupiter and Pluto in Capricorn. Follow the link to view a tri-wheel of all three conjunction horoscopes set for Washington DC. Their conjunctions range from 24Cap53 (April 4, just passed), to 24Cap06 (June 30), and back to 22Cap52 (November 12), a highly fertilized degree area of the Zodiac this year. Of course, this area of Saturn-ruled Capricorn relates to banking and investment, bail-outs-loans-debt, government, laws, and other Saturnian realms such as authority, systems, structure, order, The Establishment, conservatism, Capitalism, management, stability, the past, and the status quo. Add Pluto and we have powerful religious or military figures, wealthy CEOs, prominent judges, organizers of large-scale projects, people with power or money to dispense, and plutocrats exploiting the masses.

Meanwhile, as the novel Coronavirus pandemic has laid bare, the time has come for 'the old' to be replaced by 'the new' and for those who 'speak astrologese' this is made obvious astrologically by the multiple Great Conjunctions of planets in 2020 that begin ticking away their new cycles in timely fashion. And as 2022 nears, many can feel Pluto approaching his natal degree in the US founding horoscope of 1776--the old order now turned gray around the muzzle. Major transformation now in progress!

Plus, Jupiter and Saturn Start Over Again in December

Of course, the Great Mutation (Conjunction in AIR) of societal planets Jupiter and Saturn will arrive at Winter Solstice 2020 (conjunction horoscope shown) to bookend the year and the era with a fresh beginning in the expansion-contraction realms of life. Plus, their Conjunction joins with America's POTUS Sun (that's US Inaugural Sun @00AQ+ since January 20, 1937 when Freemason FDR changed the Inaugural date from early March with its Pisces Sun).

So what might Jupiter-Saturn = POTUS Sun bring? Will positive leadership be shown? Must boasting from the White House continue? Will the US government's traditional checks and balances finally be crushed? How about the infiltrated, weakened US Justice System? Perhaps we'll find that leniency vs harshness issues turn up in legal, social, and/or economic systems. At the least, we can expect changes in government and/or repression based on morality and ethics (ethical asteroid Pallas conjoins the November Jupiter-Pluto conjunction--and the natal Vertex of Donald Trump). Of course, Pallas also signifies the daughter so Ivanka may be prominent in a new way come late October or early November.

Now below is the third of three conjunctions on November 12 of Jupiter and Pluto, a Plutocracy pair of speculation and inflated power cravings. Obviously, the blending of their energies relates to current bail-outs and other financial, social, and religious happenings going on in 2020 but this November horoscope catapults their energies into 2021 and remains active for about the next 13 years--actually all three of their Conjunction horoscopes remain active with the 13 years divided into quarters of influence. This method gives precedence to the April 5, 2020 chart for the next 4+ years until 2024 or so. (Their next Conjunction will be a one-fer on February 5, 2033 @14AQ50.)

Significant is that the November 12, 2020 Jupiter-Pluto Conjunction @22Cap51 is joined by a transiting midpoint of Mercury-Mars. This duo has political implications in the realms of debate, oration, and discussion. It also relates to powers of thought, determination, achievement and the spirit of enterprise. A few potentials of the midpoint pictures are penned on the chart, upper center, but there was no room to add: 'quarrels, judgments, rash actions, lawsuits and controversies, obstinacy', and/or 'retaliation' (Ebertin).

Lower right you see a 'YOD' or a semblance of one for one point of it is the Ascendant rather than a planet. However, midpoint pictures may be read with the Moon--leader of a Locomotive shape ruthlessly determined on success--Venus, and Trump's natal Jupiter because the Moon conjoins his 2nd house Jupiter. So we have potentials for:

Neptune-ASC = Venus:'showing dislike'; with Moon: disharmony; and DJT's Jupiter: 'the urge to cheat others, or, cheating others'; 'loss of money and/or possessions' (Ebertin).

And if you're looking for the applying aspects of chart-ruler Venus you'll find them, lower left, with a few possibilities. Yes, wastefulness and extravagance seem to be on the Jupiter-Pluto menu--but also total dominance over others.

And finally, the Prenatal Solar Eclipse in the difficult 4 North Saros Series occurring at Summer Solstice 2020 (@00Can21) influences the 2nd house of Money, Possessions, Values, Earning Ability, and the National Treasury with 4 North themes of: 'restriction, restraint, inhibition, separation ("social distancing"?), illusions, events that block, misjudgments of strength or the situation; wait until the eclipse passes before taking any real action' (Brady) which on one level I take to mean that our current sequestration measures should continue through the rest of 2020 and perhaps beyond. But with impatient Mars-rising Trump on the loose, what are the chances that caution will rule the day?

The July 2, 2019 3 North 'Wild Card' Eclipse Series Began in October 991

Here you see DC Horoscopes of both the July 2, 2019 occurrence of a 3 North solar eclipse @10Can37 and 3 North's initial eclipse which manifested on October 10, 991 @22Lib06. When seeking more information, solar eclipses may be viewed through the lens of their initial eclipse sign--here, it's Cancer as seen through a Libran lens. Obviously, one difference is that Cancer is ruled by the emotional Moon (karmic family ties), relational Libra by Venus, one of the money planets denoting small amounts of money, luxury items, value, and evaluations. Then considering all the legalities active in the Collective now thanks to the very litigious Donald Trump, the Libran Scales of Justice will also be part of the July 2, 2019 eclipse conditions - plus, 10Can37 falls between US natal Sun (13:19) and Jupiter (5:56) with America's natal Venus (3Cancer) close at hand.

In the financial realms (according to Ebertin), the Sun-Jupiter pair relates to wealthy and/or prominent people, extravagance, squandering, and spending money unnecessarily (ex: a border wall). Michael Munkasey adds: 'Thesis: a country's reputation in the eyes of the rest of the world and the personal renown and acceptance of its leaders; the country's ability to lead others' (now destroyed). And 'Antithesis: the executive of the nation battling with the legal and justice parts of the government; a religious or philosophical system which ties the effective leadership of the country to a predetermined course of action'. Would that be the anti-nation-state Great Plan the anti-democracy GOP endorses? And/or perhaps this refers to those who arrogantly think they can speed up God's plan for planet Earth? Are they the same people?!

Well, maybe the July 2, 2019 solar eclipse will simply bring another round of karma in an attempt to teach a spendthrift, wasteful US government and its corrupt 'leadership' yet another financial lesson--such as taking better care of its citizens (Cancer = the homeland; patriotism). But of course the trouble is, the karmic lesson must also include the rest of us.

Deutsche Bank founding horoscope

A favorite piggy bank of Donald Trump, Germany's Deutsche Bank, was founded on March 10, 1870 (exact hour unknown) and began operating one month later with Sun conjunct Neptune (hidden truths; secret identities) in Aries. Below is the bank's founding horoscope set for Berlin, Germany, March 10, 1870 at 9:00 am LMT, a speculative hour:

Now accurate timing is not necessary in order to appreciate the bank's YOD pattern (crisis; turning point; crossroads; special task) with a Venus-Saturn sextile at its base and which was in effect the entire day and beyond. Marked on the chart are midpoint pictures within the YOD including US natal Pluto Rx (27Capricorn) as apex planet of the sextile (US Pluto conjunct DB's South Node); midpoint potentials (by Ebertin) are listed on the chart along with a note about the bank's Venus-Saturn sextile so capable of exploitation if it so chooses. Gold loving MIDAS @24Aries conjoins the Pluto-Chiron midpoint (24Aries) of plutocracy, plutocrats, and exploitation.

A few of Trump's natal positions are listed around the chart such as his 10th house Uranus @17Gemini conjoining the 9:00 am LMT Moon position in 1st house. As you know, the Sabian Symbol for Trump's natal Uranus ('Mr. Chaos'; chaos is 'his thing') is "Two Chinese Men Talking Chinese in a Western Crowd," a telling reference for Trump and for DB if this is its Lunar degree or otherwise linked to its chart. Also penned on is Trump's grand-scheme-fraud-inflationary trio of Neptune-Chiron-Jupiter (5--18 Libra) which opposes DB's natal Neptune 18Aries. Neptune opposing Jupiter suggests potentials for unfulfilled promises, weak follow-through, suspicious motives, deception, illusions, fraud, conniving and scheming, lack of perspective, inflation, and--wait for it--collusion (Pelletier).

Actually, today Newsweek reports that Trump may have committed bank fraud and I assert that the bank's horoscope agrees with such a distinct possibility. But never fear for Congress plans to investigate.

Now on March 10, 1870, the Moon ranged from 12Gem34 to 24Gem55 (conjunct Trump's 2015 POTUS bid announcement New Moon @25Gemini and near his natal Sun @23Gemini); the Sun ranged from 19Pis12 to 20Pis12--conjunct Mars in shady, secretive Pisces. Therefore, let's consider a few notes on the bank's insubstantial Water-Air Sun-Moon blend of conscious and unconscious energies:

Sun Pisces-Moon Gemini suggests a bank founded on hopes, plans, and schemes with not a lot of confidence but an abundance of talking. It can be fickle, vacillating, lacking in stability, self-doubting, and uncommitted in relationships. However, there are potentials for diplomacy and quick thinking yet a tendency toward an ever-changing morality may be in evidence--sympatico with the morally deficient Mr. Trump. Quite a frothy team aren't they?

2017 Saturn Returns to the 'Black Tuesday' 1929 Horoscope

In various posts here and there a horoscope of the 'Black Tuesday' Crash of 1929 may be found--mine is set for Sun to Midheaven/MC, the Goal Point of any chart. However, when I recalculated the chart with fresher Solar Fire Gold v9 software, results were slightly changed and Sun to MC occurred (NYC) at 11:51:55 am with karmic Saturn @26Sag48 in the 12th house of Karma, Politics, and Back Room Deals. Knowing that transit Saturn still stomps through Sagittarius, I checked to see when the old man would return to his natal degree in the 'Black Tuesday' horoscope. Of course, black is one of Saturn's best colors. Slimming, y'know.

So here are the three dates of the current trail of transit Saturn as Mr. Accountability revisits his 1929 'Black Tuesday' position (26Sag48) with two conjunctions already past and one yet to come in the resolution phase:

1. March 2, 2017: with Saturn rising and a veiling Sun-Neptune conjunction @11Pisces+;

2. May 11, 2017: Saturn Rx in Return 2nd house of the National Treasury;

3. November 22, 2017: banker Jupiter @9Scorpio rises with asteroid Hopi (ambush; prejudice) and there is a YOD pattern (turning point; crossroads; special task; crisis; illness; karmic opportunity) with a wobbly Moon-Neptune sextile at its base, pointing toward MC (12Leo+) for a few flickering moments.

Together, shady, confused, psychic Moon-Neptune = instability, weakness, exploitation, and/or a sense of dread (Ebertin).

The following is a small astrological snapshot of Mr. Reich:

Robert Reich (see his blog feed in sidebar) was born June 24, 1946, Scanton, PA - 12 days before George Bush. Therefore, he has the same Uranus-North Node conjunction in Gemini, the 'political reformers' pair (Ebertin.)

His natal Moon (reigning need) is in Aries or as late as 7Tau14 if born at midnight, with Sun in very early Cancer (conj US natal Venus.)

In politics, the emotionally volatile Moon in fiery Aries may say, 'I AM the people,' while Moon in Earthy Taurus is more laid back with an emotional need for financial security in order to feel emotional well-being (Bill Clinton has natal Moon in Taurus, one of the money signs.)

Since emotions are more stable in Taurus than in Aries, and because Reich works with finances, I vote for Sun Cancer-Moon Taurus for Mr. Reich's natal Sun-Moon personality blend.
