SCOTUS decisions: Law and Domination

When the Supreme Court decided Marbury v. Madison on February 24, 1803 in favor of William Marbury, the legislative branch of government that we now call 'SCOTUS' (Supreme Court of the United States) flexed its muscles and established itself as being above the US Congress as the final judge of constitutionality with the power to overturn acts of Congress. The decision defined the constitutionality of the Judiciary Act of 1789 and, as the dual horoscopes show, reveal an "urge to impose one's will on others" (Sun = Pluto-NN). Intellectual domination is their thing along with "taking over leadership" (Moon-Mars = Ascendant) via Marbury v Madison.

In addition, there are other interesting planetary factors in the two horoscopes, below. Upper right is the decision's Prenatal Eclipse ('PE') in which the decision took place a mere 3 days later (3 North Saros Series, the PE Series of 9/11/01 and of the CIA), and lower left set for the speculative hour of 10:00 am LMT, a Horoscope of the Marbury v Madison decision with 21Tau14 rising, a degree notable for its appearance later in this post, plus, the Moon-Mars midpoint as mentioned, above:

Saturn: Planet of Law, Government, and Karma

Now back in a very busy 2020, we discussed how the June 13, 2020 Mars-Neptune Conjunction landed directly upon the SCOTUS 1st session's Saturn, planet of law, authority, structures, systems, control, lessons, tasks, management, consolidation, and karma. Shown is the 1st session's horoscope of February 1, 1790 with Saturn @20Pis55. So knowing that transit Saturn is now in Pisces, we see that the SCOTUS 1790 Saturn will experience a Saturn Return in early 2025. More about this in a future post.

We also see that nebulous Neptune by transit, the watery planet of erosion, dissolution, deception, inspiration, mysticism, visions, fraud, and disappointment, has spread itself all over the SCOTUS Saturn in Pisces as recently as late 2021, which indicates several possibilities such as disintegrating traditions and/or structures, authority figures (ex: justices) who are not as honest as they should be, the promotion of high ideals and ethics, or strange or misguided notions.

Now you know that we've seen many of these potentials express via "conservative" justices like Thomas and Alito who, as members of a group of Roman Catholic justices, are having a grand old time legislating from the bench. Of course, this is exactly what the Supreme Court is not meant to do but Marbury v Madison seemingly puffed up the entity's self-image to overblown ego status.

Anyway, if you're like me, when SCOTUS repealed Roe in 2022, my first thought was that the Vatican had finally had its anti-abortion way in the US despite what the majority of Americans prefer (never mind us, we just live here). If you wish, check out the Roe v Wade Overturned Horoscope (June 24, 2022) with the repeal's North Node of destiny @21Taurus--conjunct the North Node in the Vatican City State 1929 Horoscope. Seems mighty clear to me: the repeal of Roe was timed by the Vatican City's Nodal Return. A coincidence? Not to me it isn't, considering the church's long-held stance on abortion.

Plus, there's another cosmic time link in play around these issues: radical Uranus, planet of disruption, chaos, separation, and zealotry, hit the very same 21 Taurus degree on June 30, 2023, the day the most recent SCOTUS decisions were "handed down" from on-high.

So let's close this fussy post with a few potentials of the Uranus/North-Node duo quoting from Munkasey's Hegelian Dialectic form of analysis (any, all, or none may apply especially with erratic Uranus involved):

Thesis: The changes which accompany new efforts to alter the direction of events; alliances which follow revolution or unexpected changes in leadership; help from others who assist with modernization activities.

Antithesis: Revolution for the effecting of popular changes; business changes which evolve with society; treaties for modernizing facilities which benefit another more; a society that does not appreciate modernizing (sounds like regressive Republicans, so-called "conservatives," and radical magas).

Well, we may disagree on this, but in the US "conservative" justices on the SCOTUS bench have 'altered the direction of events', all right, with the hierarchy of the Vatican pulling strings from "on-high." After all, one of the many roles powerful Pluto can play is "the pope."

April-May 2023: Jeffrey Epstein returns to the news cycle

On April 21, 2023, transit Mercury turned retrograde in Taurus and as the Cosmos would have it, a variety of previous news makers, topics, and issues are returning to the news cycle. One such is the client list of Jeffrey Epstein whose natal horoscope is not accurately timed yet a 'noon' version can still yield information for our purposes. Follow the link for a view, natal aspects and all.

Yet one chart factor that doesn't depend on accurate timing - only a date is needed - are Eclipses and the Saros Series in which they manifest. On the biwheel image, below, there are two Solar Eclipses highlighted in orange: Epstein's natal 8 South Eclipse @27Leo31 (loss; separation), and notably an 8 South Eclipse repeats on October 2, 2024 @10Libra when perhaps more details will emerge or be leaked concerning these sorry circumstances and degraded people. The second notated Solar Eclipse is the 3 North @10Can37 (obsessions) during which Jeffrey Epstein's hanging ocurred, whether by suicide or with help. A Solar Eclipse in Moon-ruled Cancer suggests involvement with family ties and other karmic links including those with children. In Leo, a Solar Eclipse used poorly denotes pride, egocentricity, pomposity, and any other negative Leonine traits that a selfish individual decides to express, no matter the effects of his behavior upon others. And of course, Leo is a romantic, dramatic sign, and is associated with children.

So with Epstein's client list making the news once again, I've finally gotten around to publishing the following bi-wheel:

Jeffrey Epstein natal horoscope 'noon' January 20, 1953 NY, NY (inner); outer 'Epstein found dead' August 10, 2019 reported as 6:30 am edt NY, NY; Angular are his natal Jupiter @14Taurus ('neck') at Midheaven ('MC') at 6:30 am edt, and natal Pluto @22Leo33 Rx rising at 6:30 am edt - in his assassin role, or at least as the planet of death and the Underworld; meanwhile, transit Pluto @21Capricorn (with karmic Saturn stalking close behind, aligning for their Great Conjunction January 12, 2020) crushes Mercury, the planet of voice and communications:

Now as you know, with Forensic Astrology, Angular planets are a prominent consideration and with "found dead" charts I've always noted the position of Mercury, planet of sight and other senses. As you see, Mercury on August 10, 2019 at 6:30 am edt was @28Can32 conjunct Epstein's 'noon' IC, the Angle of Endings. This is not conclusive by any means since we have no accurate birth time for the criminal whose links to the wealthy and well-connected of the world must have made keeping Jeffrey's mouth shut a dire necessity. A vast array of characters had mulitple reasons to keep him from talking, and hanging tends to be a favored way of accomplishing such a deed. Of course, it's possible that one can be threatened into committing suicide but I refer you to Epstein's confession about cowardice, linked, below.

Notably, the 6:30 am edt Mars-Saturn midpoint, the 'death axis' according to Reinhold Ebertin, @5Scorpio, sign of spies, spy agencies, and Big Business, opposes transit Uranus, planet of sudden attacks and disruption, so we find a picture of potentials for 'application of brute force; a case of death' (R.E.).

And yes, there are many other planetary factors squooshed upon the charts (sorry!) for those who care to read them. And admittedly there are a few contacts to the natal planets of Herr Trump sprinkled around the bi-wheel for the curious including his natal Moon-SN conjunction (opposite his Sun-NN, of course, but August 10, 2019 was a Lunar Return day for him - and it's basically a Mars Return for Trump, too); then there's the 6:30 am edt Sun-Moon midpoint @18Lib57 which landed upon Agent Orange's natal Jupiter stationed @18Lib27 in his 2nd house of Earning Ability, Possessions, and Valuables. "Joint success" (R. Ebertin) is suggested by the midpoint picture this cosmic synchronicity formed.

Now here's Jeffrey Epstein in his own words from a couple of years ago when The Guardian reported that he had told a psychologist that he was "too much of a coward" to kill himself. Two weeks later he was found dead in his prison cell after being unexplicably left unguarded for 8 hours prior to being found at 6:30 am edt on August 10, 2019. And as we know, cowards are always bullies - and young people tend to be weak enough to bully easily. Check out the two midpoint pictures operative at 10:30 pm edt August 9, 2019 that are listed in the lower right corner.

3 North and 3 South Eclipses Link 1929, 2001, and 2019: PTSD

Every 18.6 Years Eclipse Themes Repeat within Historical Cycles: Events May Rhyme

Significant events of 1929 include the 'Black Tuesday' Financial Crash on Wall Street which occurred under the influence of a 3 North Solar Eclipse (see eclipse themes listed on the chart, below). Yet the 3 South Solar Eclipse of November 1, 1929 was also of influence. Both 3N and 3S eclipse series contain "traumatic" and/or "transformative news" implications and both have heralded difficult events that continue to reverberate through society in our day.

Significant examples of their reverberations include the WTC Attacks of 9/11/01 (via 3 North) and the Electoral College Vote Eclipse of December 14, 2020 @23Sag08 triggering or activating the 3 South Eclipse of December 14, 2001 by degree (23Sag). This combines their themes which include 4 South's "very strong emotional feelings over money and/or relationships; frustration; suddenly ending relationships; a sense of fatedness." You'll recognize these themes via a sore loser politician and his followers acting out in a vain attempt to keep the orange blighter in power.

Then there's 2019 with a 3 North Eclipse @10Cancer landing among our July 4, 1776 planets of identity: Venus, Jupiter, and Sun - Total and arriving near Independence Day 2019 - and with faithless Tr*mp whining the White House, chewing, swallowing, and flushing documents.

And last but not least, is what I call The Covid Eclipse which led society into January 2020 and the coronavirus pandemic, under the influence of the December 2019 3 South Eclipse, and you know what trauma has been wrought within society - here and globally. So perhaps we can agree that 3 South's traumatic influence is ongoing, now with winter approaching and bad actors determined to make keeping warm more difficul for certain people. Abroad, some folks are buying pot bellied stoves with just such warm objectives in mind.

Today with AC repairmen working in my apartment I'm only posting a bi-wheel chart of the September 11, 2001 WTC attacks, plus, the 9/11 Solar Return 2021 Horoscope placed around the outside (Sun = "19Virgo": "A Swimming Race" = eliminating the US from global leadership - jc). As you can see, plenty of my study notes are penned upon the image for those who care to read them and I'll limit myself to spotlighting those since an abundance of emotional turmoil comes along with the 20th anniversary of the vengeful attacks - and I don't want to take even a slight chance that any insensitive remarks here might upset my New York relatives and friends - or upset any other family members who were directly affected by the 9/11 attacks, as were mine:

Independence Day 2020 and a Capricorn Lunar Eclipse

Below is a DC Horoscope of the July 5, 2020 Lunar Eclipse @13Cap37 across the 4/10 Security and Career axis. Perfecting at 12:44:17 am edt, America's natal Sun (13Can19) is 'eclipsed' even more closely than it was during the 3 North July 2, 2019 Solar Eclipse @10Can37 and you know the turmoil, changes, and disruptive events that ensued for US leadership in the summer of 2019 and beyond. (Exs: Trump's "perfect call' to Ukraine's President Zelenskiy, military and humanitarian aide to Ukraine withheld which benefited Russia, Trump's whistle blower saga still ongoing against the law that protects their identities, plus, Trump's impeachment in 2020!), plus other lunations, some stronger than others. (New and Full Moons may sometimes disrupt and/or reveal secrets much as eclipses like to do.)

And naturally, all Cancer and Capricorn eclipses relate to issues of authority, responsibility, ambition, use of power and control, family and security matters, and/or patriotism, both real and pretended. Plus, commerce, trade, and investment matters are often involved as well, and we should also include the potential for Moon-Saturn influences which may concern health.

Then came the 3 South December 26, 2019 Solar Eclipse with its "traumatic transformation" vibes (Brady) under which we now chafe in 2020 at least until the Summer Solstice 2020 Solar Eclipse (linked, below). And I'll add here a link to a previous post concerning the Spring Equinox 2020 Chart because it's 'good for' the entire year.

So here's the horoscope I've (somewhat snarkily) entitled, Happy Independence Day America 2020. (US Solar Return 2020 perfects July 4th at 4:58:57 pm edt--still with a Capricorn Moon and suggesting some 'unpleasant circumstances'.) So between the June 5, 2020 Lunar Eclipse @15Sag20 (not shown but linked, below) and the July 5th Lunar Eclipse you see, above, comes the Summer Solstice Eclipse 2020 which is Annular yet heralds significant world events with its tinge of 4 North influences. Chillingly, we might wonder if the spread of China's tragic coronavirus contagion disrupting the supply chain to the rest of the world is implicated here due to its potential for interrupting global financial markets. That could do it. Maybe this post should have opened with that.

America, Saturn-Neptune, Eclipses, and Donald Trump

In a January 2019 SO'W post concerning the December Solar Eclipse that ends 2019 with Jupiter and Pluto issues, multiple mentions were made including the Saturn-Neptune pair of energies, Donald Trump, and Republican operative Bill Barr who was just coming into the DOJ picture with his senate confirmation hearing occurring as I typed. (And note that Jupiter-Pluto is the 'wheeler dealer' and plutocrat duo.)

Now one reason mention was made of Saturn-Neptune in the post is that their midpoint rises in Trump's natal chart as it does in the December 26, 2019 Eclipse's DC Horoscope (chart shown in the above post) with vibes of depression and limitation of freedom (Ebertin). Another reason to keep our collective eye on the Saturn-Neptune duo (the "illness axis," Reinhold Ebertin calls it--conjunct Trump's natal Ascendant, his nibs himself born into an 'oppressive family environment') during these harrowing days is that it relates to such realms as the social welfare programs constantly under attack by the Republican Party (most of whose members I tend to think of as misfits of the human race). Apparently the party's past "compassionate conservative" slogan no longer applies if indeed it ever did.

So below is a hodge podge of dates and associations for the Saturn-Neptune pair so famously representing hidden or secret (Neptune) government or control (Saturn)--and of course imaginary + real, lie vs fact, and idealism vs materialism also apply, plus the -isms such as Communism, Bolshevikism, Marxism, Capitalism, Socialism, Nationalism, Patriotism, Nativism, Zionism, conservatism, 'Trumpism'--labels invented by hidden manipulators to divide, conquer, exploit, and weaken populations who might think to rise up against the 'ruling class'. Fact is, We have the numbers, they have the desperation to hold on to power and control.

Now as you know the Saturn-Neptune cycle lasts approximately 36 years and their last conjunction was actually a three-fer due to retrogradation yet all during 1989: 1. March 3, 1989 @11Cap55; 2. June 24, 1989 @11Cap14; and 3. November 13, 1989 @10Cap22. See Events of 1989, an extremely busy year, domestically and abroad. The next Saturn-Neptune conjunction occurs only once on February 20, 2026 @00Ari45, the Aries Point where global events tend to manifest. Note that this conjunction in 2026 will conjoin the IC of the natal chart of America that I tend to use most often (July 4, 1776 5:09 pm LMT Philadelphia, PA).

Obviously, we are now mired within the third period (3 x 12 years = 36) which began on November 13, 1989 @10Cap22, a degree stimulated by the July 2, 2019 Solar Eclipse @10Can37 in the 3 North Saros Series--between America's Jupiter and Sun; this is the eclipse series we're in as I type.

Now here are Saturn-Neptune's Hegelian potentials within the realms of Politics and Business, some of which may sound appropriate for our times:

Thesis: Delusions among the real leadership; long lived programs which have no real purpose; policies which restrict spies; misusing law officers; inefficient use of capable expert advice; mistaken religious leaders.

Antithesis: Leaders deceive about the exercise of control; deficient business practices exposed; respected persons involved in questionable practices; reliable equipment failures; a leader capitulates. (Midpoints: Unleashing the Power of the Planets, Michael Munkasey.)

Trump Now Reaping Results from the July 2019 Eclipse

September 27, 2019: Upcoming in the 2019 holiday season is the 3 South Solar Eclipse of December 26, 2019 @4Cap07, a 'Christmas Eclipse'. But for now we remain under the influence of the 3 North Solar Eclipse of July 2, 2019 @10Can37 which fell between America's Venus-Jupiter-Sun trio (3--14 Cancer)--directly between the Sun-Jupiter duo which relates to leadership (Sun), and money, corporatism, the military, and idealism (Jupiter) with Cancer the sign of patriotism, tribalism, home, self-protection, and business.

Since the whistleblower complaint has publicly whistled Trump's name and the House run by Democrats has opened a formal impeachment inquiry this very week, perhaps the themes of the July 2019 3 North eclipse should be reviewed for they now make more sense.

3 North Themes: 'an over-excessive series involving news that transforms a situation and causes worry or obsession; the undertaking of large plans is wanted which can be very positive as long as one doesn't get carried away' (paraphrasing Brady's Predictive Astrology).

Besides the obvious reference to transforming news (ex: whistleblower complaint), plus, whatever overblown plans and spin the very worried Trump feels he must set in motion in order to muddy clear waters, I believe Speaker Pelosi has been keeping her impeachment powder dry until such time as Trump overplayed his autocratic hand and news arrived that transformed the situation into more votes for impeachment. Yet crazily, the House is scheduled to go on recess Friday September 27 until October 15th! Momentum will be lost--unless certain committees stay behind and continue working.

Additionally, July 2019 also contained a Lunar Eclipse @24 Capricorn which 'eclipsed' Trump's natal 11th house Saturn in Cancer, planet of authority, accountability, realism, and government. Both the Solar and Lunar Eclipse horoscopes of July 2019 may be viewed here set for Washington DC.

Then coming in December, as noted, is the 3 South eclipse bringing vibes of 'traumatic transformation through news received'. Now Trump is a mighty slippery varmint, it's true, but I can't help but wonder what events the 3 South eclipse themes could possibly describe as 2019 melts into 2020!

DC Horoscope: Leo New Moon July 31, 2019

Image: New Moon @8Leo36 July 31, 2019 11:11:49 pm edt Washington DC. Note that if potent, New Moons may act as disruptive Solar Eclipses, Full Moons as revelatory Lunar Eclipses. The culminating stage of this particular New Moon is the Full Moon @22AQ24 on August 15, 2019 8:29 am edt; all are 'lunations' and all may affect or influence historical events with Total eclipses having the strongest influence as does location within the path of visibility (note: I use eclipse degrees symbolically whether the subject is in 'the path' or not; disagree as you wish!).

Rising 17Ari11 makes Mars chart-ruler but with no applying Ptolemaic aspects to other planets which focuses on the warrior planet's house and sign (5th house in Leo conjunct wifely Juno, an asteroid which also relates to nation-states and politics). However, Mars is apex of a YOD pattern (crisis; turning point; special task; spiritual opportunity for karmic progress) with the Neptune-Pluto sextile at it base (3A10; the supernatural, drugs, and/or, organized crime) = Mars, plus, we might wish to rope Saturn (15Cap37 Rx 10th house conjunct the January 5, 2019 2 South Solar Eclipse--'joining unusual groups') into the YOD pattern as well so that midpoint pictures form with certain potentials--Neptune-Pluto = Mars: compulsion to use violence; imminent destruction emphasizes hostility; lack of resistance; used as a tool; and Saturn-Neptune = Mars: defending shabby practices; emotional depression or sickness; listlessness. (Note that Mars @19Leo09 approaches a Trump Mars Return, a bi-annual event for us all--his 2019 Mars Return perfects on August 12 (11:27:04 pm edt) with a Moon-Mars inconjunct suggesting his usual Mercury-Neptune square's misjudgment of people, the forming of 'binding alliances' with those who then take advantage of his misplaced indulgence (exs: Putin? Kim Jong Un?), plus, he may be feeling powerless to oppose the oppressive demands of others and may suffer loss through collusion (yep--that's the exact word Rob Pelletier uses in his book Planets in Aspect!). Also note that his 2019 Mars Return's Mercury-Neptune midpoint @24Tau48 conjoins Trump's natal Midheaven (which conjuncts enraged Algol) so his tendency to 'live among the clouds' of his fantasy world is once again obvious to the public and suggests self-deception, lying, and going the wrong way, things the whining manbaby does so well.

Trouble is, he takes the rest of us down with him to the extent that we allow him to. Kind of a kamikaze POTUS we might say, sabotaging America all the way!

Now if you dare, check out Trump's 2019 Mars Return chart, a two-year horoscope, where you'll see that the July 16 2019 Lunar Eclipse @24Cap04 also conjuncts the Return Midheaven (The Why? and Goal Point of any horoscope) to the degree when the chart is set for Washington DC--with Return Moon @23Cap52, a timing agent, reflecting Trump's natal Vertex (22Cap51), a point of fated encounters and possible changes in work conditions. His Vertex is activated like all get-out by Moon conjunct Pluto Rx @21Cap12, an intense planetary pair that relates to inconvenient secrets being revealed--such as hidden children and it 'encourages violence and crime' and reveals obsessions that cause 'a misuse of resources' (Munkasey). So with the revelatory July Lunar Eclipse angular at the most visible point of his 2019 Mar Return chart we may expect more scandals and secrets to be leaked and/or uncovered--possibly financial or investment-related in nature or having to do with authority figures or issues, matters of security, his illegitimacy as POTUS, and/or parenting concerns. Yes, there look to be many boo-hoos in store for Mr. Trump as 2019 morphs into 2020 but an 'escape hatch' of a deal may be in the offing as well. For his fellow culprits have to protect their own hides after all--and perhaps they all took some freaky sort of oath to bind themselves together.

Now as you see in the above chart (my notes penned on), the Leo New Moon perfects during a Lunar Hour of fluctuations and changes with Mercury, planet of messages, plans, and young folk (and changes), stationed and ready to turn Direct in 45 minutes 51 seconds @23Can56. From this we see that basically, America is in process of a Mercury Return to 24Can12 (3x in 2019: June 20, July 29 Rx, and August 3) which reinvigorates any natal aspects to our 1776 Mercury--in other words, our Mercury-Pluto opposition is stimulated. You'll note that the July 16, 2019 Lunar Eclipse @24Cap04 opposes and reveals US natal Mercury Rx (July 4, 1776 5:09 pm LMT) which activates our national Mercury-Pluto opposition of manipulation, surveillance, propaganda, secret plans, and/or transformative thinking and ideas.

And when action planet Mars is apex of a YOD pattern an acute time of crisis is indicated (which means temporary chaos). Indirect, out-of-tune actions may be taken, forces must be mobilized, and vigorous new starts will demand courage and much effort. Plus, someone of a Mars persuasion (Trump, born with Mars in Leo rising?) is operating alone and unhampered by others (Tierney) which to me suggests complicity infesting the US government, media, foreign governments, and --?--. Of course, the YOD contains two inconjuncts (150 degrees) to Mars: one from Neptune (people who overstate their importance and are taken advantage of; physical conditions difficult to diagnose or treat; and/or being vulnerable to sexually transmitted diseases) and one from from Pluto (compulsion to take on too many tasks). Looks as if impatient, brash Mars is on the case--but in a Fire sign, let's hope arsonist Mars doesn't start any! And if we add a Mars-Saturn inconjunct to the cosmic picture we find hints of possible physical problems caused in part by inactivity, and/or the use of emotional blackmail in order to guarantee submission. On tape is sooo inconvenient.

Then at the Base or Foundation of the New Moon chart you see the current transformative, disruptive July 2, 2019 Solar Eclipse in the 3 North series (10Can37) conjunct the New Moon IC of Homeland, Home and Family. 'News transforms a situation' as nearby Venus in Leo rallies 'round the New Moon suggesting social events, luxurious surroundings, and possibly some currency manipulation. Meanwhile, erratic Uranus @6Tau33 rises in 1st house denoting unexpected events on the upswing (possibly of the financial kind), unusual sources of financing being sought, and a potential for natural disasters of the earthly variety to occur. (Has anyone checked on the status of Mount Saint Helen's lately?). The soon-perfecting Saturn-Pluto conjunction, shown here in the Career 10th house, is on display for all the world to see and understandably plagues the minds of many (remember these two karmic heavyweights join forces approximately every 30+ years or so--last time in 1982 @27Lib36 bringing us 'trickle down' Reaganomics, a financial scam if there ever was one).

Interestingly, the January 12, 2020 Saturn-Pluto Conjunction @22Cap46 will conjunct the natal Jupiter Rx of the Republican Party (in its March 20, 1854 chart) and you'd think GOP 'ideals' of religious and social fanaticism would be hardened and severe enough without an increase of same, wouldn't you? Well, maybe this conjunction with wealthy Jupiter denotes a compression of the party's or the RNC's finances and donations on some level yet it doesn't seem likely--even though the NRA (November 17, 1871) is said to be suffering from a well-deserved financial lack these days. Yet Trump has already raised a prodigious amount for his 2020 re-selection campaign so he has that goin' for him and his alt-right friends of the vicious fascist persuasion.

Well, there are many other chart factors of note in the July 31, 2019 New Moon chart set for DC and hopefully you'll decide to ferret them out for yourself, then leave me an on-topic comment about what I neglected to mention underneath this post if you so desire. G20 Osaka Summit June 28-29, 2019: Wild Cards!

Of Cosmic Blinks, Wild Cards, and Secret Plans Uncovered

Although two 'wild card'/'cosmic blink' eclipses will soon manifest--one Solar, then a Lunar, both in July--someone has scheduled a G20 Summit within the timeframe of their influential vibrations. Known for revealing secrets and other hidden things, eclipses tend to stir up events in that Uranian way with sudden disruption and interruption while inconveniently exposing scandals and other tidbits best kept hidden. Revealing or not, complete changes of direction may result and we might even say that via eclipses, God blinks at mankind's antics--or, with a cosmic gotcha!, does He sometimes wink?

The 2019 G20 Osaka Summit is scheduled for June 28 and 29, 2019 in Osaka, Japan to be chaired by PM Shinzo Abe. One must assume that Donald Trump will blow in to the proceedings like a hot breeze with his usual chaos-creating demeanor and without participating as any previous US president would do.

The founding of Japan dates back to February 11, 660 BC and there are at least three modern horoscopes for the country. One chart you may wish to view is set for May 3, 1947 Tokyo when their post-war constitution went into effect (The Book of World Horoscopes, Campion, chart #172; ASC 18Leo57, MC 12Tau37 conjunct Sun 11Tau50, Moon 17Lib09 conjunct Trump's natal stationary Jupiter 17:27).

Now as you know, Trump is a brazen boundary-breaker, a condition well-described by his stationing Jupiter which turned Direct @17Lib27:07 a mere 3 hours 11 minutes after his birth (June 14, 1946 10:54 am Queens, NY). Plus, his natal Jupiter is also prominent because it conjoins two asteroids: Astraea (an archetype of justice!!) and Osiris. And as you know, fairness is a major concern of expansive Jupiter when in Libra, sign of Partnerships, and Trump's transactional nature stems in part from this placement with the natal sign of Jupiter revealing how one relates to other people--in his case, it's Aries-Libra's Me vs You axis.

As for the G20 Osaka Summit 2019, the background cosmic atmosphere can be described in part by the event's Prenatal Solar Eclipse ('PE') in the 2 South Saros Series which perfected on January 5, 2019 (est) @15Cap25 with a theme of 'joining unusual groups and gaining a great deal'. Yes, the G20 is a group yet considering this event when 'world leaders' get together for secret conferences to discuss the rest of us, my suspicion is that the summit may fall more under the auspices of the upcoming 3 North Solar Eclipse of July 2, 2019 @10Can37 for June 28 and 29 are certainly within the two-week range of influence prior to the perfection of the 3N eclipse. And its themes definitely relate directly to America for its degree falls between our national Jupiter (5Can56) and Sun (13:19) with business-oriented, Moon-ruled Cancer a sign of tribalism, protectionism, security needs, patriotism, and the Homeland. Plus, it may very well be that masses of refugees seeking homes are on the 2019 G20 agenda. Unhelpfully, transit Jupiter (the financier and the politician) remains retrograde until August 11, 2019 in its own sign of Sagittarius, sign of the foreigner and the immigrant.

That difficult events have occurred in the past under 3 North eclipse vibes cannot be denied but hopefully our world will not veer too far astray (or toward a deceptively 'trumped up' war with Iran) under 3 North themes as 'world leaders' (aka, figureheads) meet in Osaka, Japan, knock heads together, arrogantly plan our futures, discuss financial arrangements, and drink toasts to what they consider their 'success'...during the last week of June 2019.

The Initial Eclipse of July 2, 2019: 3 North

The July 2, 2019 3 North 'Wild Card' Eclipse Series Began in October 991

Here you see DC Horoscopes of both the July 2, 2019 occurrence of a 3 North solar eclipse @10Can37 and 3 North's initial eclipse which manifested on October 10, 991 @22Lib06. When seeking more information, solar eclipses may be viewed through the lens of their initial eclipse sign--here, it's Cancer as seen through a Libran lens. Obviously, one difference is that Cancer is ruled by the emotional Moon (karmic family ties), relational Libra by Venus, one of the money planets denoting small amounts of money, luxury items, value, and evaluations. Then considering all the legalities active in the Collective now thanks to the very litigious Donald Trump, the Libran Scales of Justice will also be part of the July 2, 2019 eclipse conditions - plus, 10Can37 falls between US natal Sun (13:19) and Jupiter (5:56) with America's natal Venus (3Cancer) close at hand.

In the financial realms (according to Ebertin), the Sun-Jupiter pair relates to wealthy and/or prominent people, extravagance, squandering, and spending money unnecessarily (ex: a border wall). Michael Munkasey adds: 'Thesis: a country's reputation in the eyes of the rest of the world and the personal renown and acceptance of its leaders; the country's ability to lead others' (now destroyed). And 'Antithesis: the executive of the nation battling with the legal and justice parts of the government; a religious or philosophical system which ties the effective leadership of the country to a predetermined course of action'. Would that be the anti-nation-state Great Plan the anti-democracy GOP endorses? And/or perhaps this refers to those who arrogantly think they can speed up God's plan for planet Earth? Are they the same people?!

Well, maybe the July 2, 2019 solar eclipse will simply bring another round of karma in an attempt to teach a spendthrift, wasteful US government and its corrupt 'leadership' yet another financial lesson--such as taking better care of its citizens (Cancer = the homeland; patriotism). But of course the trouble is, the karmic lesson must also include the rest of us.

2019 Solar Eclipses: Across the 'Moon-Saturn' Cancer-Capricorn Polarity

March 3, 2019: currently we go about our business beneath the rays of the January 5, 2019 Solar Eclipse which manifested @15Cap45 just in time to imprint its 2 South 'joining a new group and gaining a great deal' vibes upon the 116th Congress. In Saturn-ruled Capricorn, sign of government (politics), law, and business, and sign where transformative Pluto, power planet of permanent change, now plods on his way to America's first-ever Pluto Return/s (3x @27Cap33).

Toward the end of June 2019 the background influences of 2 South wane as the next Solar Eclipse prepares to dazzle with a direction change and potentials for sudden disruption for on July 2, 2019 an eclipse perfects @11Cancer in the 3 North Saros Series with themes of 'news that transforms a situation and/or involves young people; information can cause worry, obsession, and an urge to undertake large plans; there's a need not to get carried away' for 3 North energies are 'over-excessive'. As you see, for America this qualifies as an Independence Day 2019 Solar Eclipse and is the first repetition of a 3 North solar eclipse since 9/11/01.

Last in 2019 but not least is a Solar Eclipse in the 3 South Saros Series manifesting @4Capricorn on December 26, 2019 - basically, a Christmas 2019 Solar Eclipse with Pluto-involved themes of 'sudden relationship endings, possibly with a younger person, and containing deep emotional energies of traumatic transformation'. (All themes paraphrasing Brady's Predictive Astrology.) In addition, the December 26th Eclipse Ends 2019 with Jupiter and Pluto Issues which, for me, brings to mind large-scale developers, wheeler-dealers, and power-grabbers like Mr. Trump - and his cruel, barbaric 'caging children' policy.

Now there are two 2019 Lunar Eclipses, one already past: January 21st @1Leo, and July 16th @24Capricorn which simply drips with Pluto and Politics, and points toward the Saturn-Pluto Conjunction of January 12, 2020 @22Cap46 (conjunct Trump's natal Vertex!) with its Saturnian-Plutonian vibes of compression, realism, hard work, unyielding deadlines, cruelty, and 'upsets in existing checks and balances' (Munkasey).

2018--2019 Transits for Donald John Trump Jr

Brief Astro-Notes on Donald Trump Jr and Transits to Natal 2018--2019

If you wish a peek, the natal horoscope of Donald John Trump, Jr, is rated A (from memory or news reports) and shows a birth hour of 5:20 pm est on December 31, 1977 Manhattan, New York City, New York. A New Years Eve baby was he! And if you haven't, check out his Wiki bio page for more details on 'Little T' where you'll find him perennially yoked to Reality TV, thanks to his dad Big T. But his yoke is loosened from wife Vanessa Kay Haydon as of their divorce announcement on March 15, 2018. A contested or uncontested divorce seems imminent although its status remains a secret, last I heard.

Now theirs has been an intensely passionate partnership which may have included quite a bit of antagonism and volatility (Sun Sco-Moon Ari: "best of friends or worst of enemies" -- and moodiness, with a lack of sensitivity to the partner's feelings--this is a "riding roughshod" combo, say Charles and Suzi Harvey). And if you look at their Wedding Day planets for November 12, 2005, Mar-a-Lago, Florida you'll see their steamy Water-Fire blend--Sun = husband, Moon = wife, theirs a Mars-Pluto (Scorpio)-Mars (Aries) combination of ambition, pride, and subterfuge.

So with Donald Jr's natal Venus @5Cap02 in 6th house, we know that transit Saturn has recently come to call bring sobering conditions to his relationships and the potential for breaking them off. For Donald Jr, this Saturn-to-Venus transit occurred three times in 2018: February 2, July 8, and November 2. Then there's his 6th house Sun @10Cap08 with restrictive Saturn approaching for a direct conjunction only once: on December 21, 2018. This is a period when his responsibilities must be faced and he must deal with the consequences of past decisions and events. He may be or go into isolation as often as he possibly can as 2019 nears. One must wonder if a prison term is being described here by legal eagle Saturn's dampening of his Sun-Venus conjunction of self-satisfaction. If so or not, Donald Trump Jr is definitely dealing with feelings and issues of restriction, limitation, and the specter of a possible future prison term, just as most media outlets report.

Another heavy transit that has occurred all through 2018 is transit Pluto conjunct his natal Descendant (19Cap53) and bringing relationship upheavals. Exact conjunctions of transit Pluto to his natal Descendant in 2018: February 3, July 17, and next on December 9, 2018. This transit marks a period when he is forced to face any relationship problems or issues he has accumulated so of course divorce and divorce settlements concerning his wife and five children are part of the plutonian picture. What this means for his relationship with his father remains to be seen.

Will 2019 Improve for Donald Trump Jr?

Leaving such a value judgment up to you, dear reader, here are a few prominent 2019 transits to Don Jr's natal chart to consider. First, there's the start of three conjunctions of transit Jupiter to his natal Neptune (16Sag44): January 25, July 3, and September 19, 2019. This is a period when pretense and illusion may expand, imagination is enhanced, he may lose whatever touch he's had with reality (or freedom?), paranoia and/or fanaticism may increase, mysteries abound or perhaps are solved, incorrect diagnoses can occur, and scandals and schemes can continue. There is even a possibility of bankruptcy under Jupiter-to-Neptune's inflated, fraudulent influences. Of course, spirituality may increase as well but I'm not suggesting it for the son of a con man such as Trump--unless his mother Ivana provided her first son with such a possibility or interest.

Now one 2019 transit that is particularly fretful is Saturn square natal Pluto (16Lib35 in 4th house conjunct Trump Sr' natal 2nd house Jupiter Stationary). For Trump Sr this transit is a question of economic growth and political success being hampered by imposing authority figures and by endless laws, rules, and regulations. For Trump Jr it's a more existential period when he is being stripped of unnecessary baggage and may have a feeling of stepping into unknown territory. For Junior the exact transit dates are: February 16, July 17, and November 15, 2019.

Then there's a significant Solar Eclipse on July 2, 2019--significant for America since it manifests so near Independence Day 2019 in between our nation's Venus and Jupiter in Cancer (more on this in a future post). Obviously, finances are implicated although business-loving Cancer is a also tribal sign of family and security issues so white nationalism may be part of the eclipse picture as well as the Trump family.

Solar Eclipse @10Can37 July 2, 2019; 3 North Saros Series (a lunation @00Cancer in 3 South is the Prenatal Eclipse of the 9/11 attacks). Themes of 3 North eclipses: 'news involving young people or news that transforms a situation and causes worry or obsession; large plans and activities are taken but don't get carried away' (paraphrasing Brady's Predictive Astrology).

The July 2019 Solar Eclipse is significant for Donald Jr because, among other things, it opposes his natal 6th house Sun (10Cap08) and manifests in his natal 12th house of Politics, Karma, Self-Undoing...and hidden places such as Prisons. Besides any eclipse influences, this 'cosmic blink' marks an 'unbirthday' transit for Don Jr when one is meant to reassess current plans and activities and make a change of course if results have not been not favorable up to that point (6 months after a birthday). But how free will Donald Jr actually be to make any necessary directional changes toward better outcomes? Will he turn witness for Robert Mueller against his father? Doubtful, yet a strong sense of self-preservation runs in the family and reduced sentences are usually cat nip at times of indictment. Well, surely his Pa-pa' will pardon him if at all possible!

A Mars Return Marks a New Two-Year Cycle of Activities and Efforts

Last I shall mention that 2019 is a year of a Mars Return for Donald Jr and it perfects once on July 16, 2019. Setting Don Jr's Mars Return chart for Manhattan, Mars (9Leo04) conjoins the Return IC (5Leo31 with Mars conjunct sexy asteroid Sappho!) from the 4th house side (more domestic troubles?) and shows his planet of motivation, energy, and activity to be under the quixotic rays of transit Uranus as it has squared his natal Mars. This Uranian transit marks a period when relationships with males are fraught with disagreements, disruptions, and possibly with danger--and when efforts may meet with unexpected results. In addition, transit Uranus, today @29Aries Rx, has been ruffling Donald Jr's natal 10th house Chiron (1Tau09 Rx) off and on suggesting feelings of rebellion and a tendency to act on impractical impulses (Nolle). Of course, his father is quite the quirky Uranian with chaotic impulses and notions shown every day as provided by Big T's guiding planet, his 10th house Uranus in duplicitous Gemini for it's the leader of all Trump Sr's natal planets.

Thankfully for Don Jr there is a grace note found in another aspect in his July 2019 Mars Return chart, an applying trine from Jupiter (6A29) to Mars indicating that a Jupiterian figure will provide Donald Trump Jr with beneficial aid in his hour of need and this may describe a pardon or other legal and/or financial help from his dad, Donald Trump Sr., or it could relate to benefits from wealthy financiers and promoters of the Trump Family...perhaps a cushy, pimped-up prison pad?

Summer Solstice Solar Eclipses 2001 and 2020

July 30, 2018: here you see a dual image of two horoscopes of the Summer Solstice 2001 Solar Eclipse and the Summer Solstice Solar Eclipse of 2020. In 2001, the eclipse perfected on June 21 @00Can10 and was the Prenatal Eclipse of the WTC attacks on 9/11/01. In 2020 an eclipse will manifest on June 21 @00Can21. Both charts are set for Washington DC as representative of America. The two eclipses are 'time links' by degree, not by Saros Series.

Note that in Political Astrology I tend to work with eclipses symbolically by degree, sign, stars, sensitive and critical degrees, etc. For as you know, eclipses affect history by expressing through individuals via an eclipse's links to a person's natal chart and planets. Those who are in an eclipse's path of visibility may 'feel' the effects more strongly, yes, but even if one is located 'out of the path', eclipses occur and have influence even so. For one thing, an eclipse manifests approximately every 18.6 years in the same Saros Series as the series a person is born into (their Prenatal Eclipse or 'PE') so whether a person is located at the time in path of visibility or not, it's 'their' personal eclipse. An example is the recent solar eclipse on July 12, 2018 @21Cancer in Mr. Trump's 2 Old North Saros Series which occurred while he was abroad and perfected two days prior to his 'Helsinki Summit' with Mr. Putin. That 2 Old North themes of 'unfortunate news' and 'separation' affected Trump personally seems apparent to me if not you.

That said, here are the horoscopes of the 2001 Summer Solstice Eclipse and the upcoming Summer Solstice Eclipse of June 21, 2020 with my usual messy notes scribbled upon:

Now as you know, 00Cancer, a critical degree, is one of the four Cardinal Points of Manifestation denoting events occurring on the world stage and this alone makes an eclipse upon this degree significant. Will a similar attack be heralded by the 2020 eclipse? They say history doesn't repeat but it rhymes yet I'm not prognosticating such a game-changing terrorist assault. Even so, most folks feel that major shifts are occurring now across the globe--politically and in the physical world via natural (and man made) disasters--and leaders tend to wage wars when they feel their domestic support waning. So with the chaos-loving Uranian Trump's quixotic finger on The Button, who would care to guess how he'll 'jump' in 2020--or even this afternoon?

As you see, the 2001 eclipse (upper, right) occurred in the 3 North Saros Series with themes of: 'news involving young people and/or news that transforms a situation; information that causes worry and obsession; large plans are undertaken which may be over-excessive'. Past 3 North eclipses are PEs for the likes of the CIA, William Howard Taft, James Monroe's second inauguration, John Quincy Adams, Hillary Clinton, and J.K. Rowling. Its initial manifestation occurred on October 10, 991 @22Gem06 (conjunct US natal warrior planet Mars--and Donald Trump's natal Sun, btw, engaged in a trio with his natal North Node and guiding planet, Uranus). Soon a 3 North eclipse will 'come again' on July 2, 2019 @11Cancer--among America's natal Cancerian trio of Venus, Jupiter, and Sun. Of course, Venus and Jupiter relate to finances, currencies, and money supply, the Sun to leadership.

The Summer Solstice Eclipse of 2020 perfects in the 4 North Saros Series. Its difficult themes are: 'illusions, restriction, inhibition, separation; events seem to block individuals who tend to misjudge strengths or situations; take no real action until the influence of the eclipse passes'. The initial 4 North eclipse occurred on May 25, 1389 @12Gem08, a position some see as America's natal Descendant. Interestingly, 4 North is the PE of: George Washington, George Soros, Prince Harry, the State of Israel, and Katy Perry.

Solar Eclipses in Gemini and Cancer

So the 2001 and 2020 solar eclipses in Moon-ruled Cancer (plus, Trump's in July 2018) should be viewed through a Mercurial Gemini lens due to their initial manifestations. An eclipse in Gemini spotlights logic, fluency, and the coherent expression of ideas. Negative traits include superficiality, loquaciousness, and caprice along with a tendency to communicate without forethought. Those born under a Gemini eclipse may tend toward garbled sentence structure, splintered positions, and duplicity. Unsurprisingly, Donald Trump's PE occurred in 1946 @9Gemini (conjunct US natal Uranus, our 'war and revolution' planet of shocks and chaos.) The gathering of information is also a Gemini eclipse influence along with gossip, news, and a dependence on poll-taking, all of which relate to Trump.

Solar eclipses in sensitive, receptive Cancer are associated with imagination, emotional extremes, emotional withdrawal (Cancer, the Crab hiding in its shell), karmic family ties, psychic ability, shrewd business moves, and an interest in Genealogy.

Well, that's all I shall type for now on 3 North and 4 North except to remind myself that all eclipses are 'wild card of the Universe' and 'cosmic blinks' which affect human history and individuals with their game-changing energies that are very similar to planet Uranus in its capacity to disrupt, separate, and reveal hidden factors which may be extremely inconvenient for all those involved.
