Saturn in Pisces hits US 12 South Eclipse

An abundance of astro-notes are penned upon the following bi-wheel of America's Prenatal Solar Eclipse @00Pis33 which manifested on February 19, 1776 within the 12 South Saros Series (inner), and the moment that transit Saturn @00Pis33 (outer) 'hits' the 1776 Eclipse degree, both Saturn and Sun-Moon with the rounded-up degree's Sabian Symbol of "A Public Market":

"1 Pisces": "A Public Market"; "Keyword = COMMERCE; positive expression: an exceptional capacity for organizing the converging and conflicting interests of many people in practical arrangements of mutual benefit; negative" (shadow side; unconscious - jc) "expression: complete insensibility to any over-all welfare."

Illumination Point (opposite, also unconscious) "1 Virgo": "A Man's Head" = CHARACTER; positive expression: an effective self-assurance and an ever-clear vision of each emerging opportunity in life; negative expression: inordinate vanity and a consistent overestimation of individual capacities." (The Sabian Symbols in Astrology, Marc Edmund Jones #ad).

The 1 Virgo/Pisces Symbols suggest issues of maturity, reliability, responsibility, ambition, accountability, and personal plus group integrity, in the realms of commerce, trade, marketing, and legal situations. Saturn in Pisces indicates a period of time when ambition, consolidation, reserve, restraint, restriction, limits, and legal conditions are prominent, and there are potentials for realism brought to flights of fancy, or, in a similar fashion to a Saturn-to-Neptune transit, the grim face of reality is visited upon those who neglect Saturn's demands for hard work and upright behavior. Past mistakes are on the table and corrections must be made.

Additionally, sustained hard work is necessary during this period along with struggles with opponents (2024 campaign, etc) as sober Saturn travels through tipsy Pisces; our social safety net programs continue to be a point of contention along with the debt ceiling limit and possible default by the US government, crisis situations made worse by political trickery (which Saturn will not abide).

So timekeeper Saturn has entered watery Pisces of the Collective for his trek toward the end of the Zodiac, heading eventually toward a new societal cycle with Neptune (February 20, 2026 @00Ari45: idealism vs materialism writ large on the world stage), but for now, our long-standing concerns must be dealt with by taking responsibility and maturity seriously. Naturally, inequality is just one of those long-standing concerns, and accountability awaits miscreants.

In closing, please see the themes of 12 South (highlighted in orange) for details of the eclipse which Saturnian folk in charge have the experience and discipline to deal with succesfully for best results!

Super Tuesday and the March-April 2020 Lunations

February 25, 2020: On Super Tuesday March 3, 2020 the greatest number of states hold primaries and a large number of delegates may be won. Looking at the entire 24-hour period, we find that the Sun (leadership) ranges from 13Pis04 (12:00 am est) to 14Pis04 (11:59 pm est) conjunct the natal Neptune of the Republican Party. And note that the Sabian Symbol for "14 Pisces" = "A Lady in FOX Fur" for which FOX News always comes to mind.

And the Moon's sign, which suggests the public mood, is Gemini for most of Super Tuesday, then Luna slips into her own sign of patriotic Cancer a bit before midnight. The Harveys, in their book Sun Sign-Moon Sign give a timely quote for the Sun Pisces-Moon Cancer blend: "Many people consider the things which government does for them to be social progress, but they consider the things government does for others as socialism." - Justice Earl Warren. Mmm, yes they certainly do.

Now as you know, voting planet Mercury is retrograde on March 3, 2020 @00Pis52 (12:00 am) and @00Pis09 (11:59 pm est). This happens to be the degree of America's Prenatal Solar Eclipse ('PE' @00Pis33) prior to July 4, 1776 in the 12 South Saros Series with its theme of 'successful outcomes to long-term worries or illness' (Brady). So even though Mercury Rx may change its mind a few times before voting on Super Tuesday, perhaps as an eclipse activator, changeable Mercury will bring successful outcomes. Of course, the planet's retrograde condition may also indicate election interference by saboteurs and other bad actors which cause delays and uncertain election results as we've already seen ("already seen" = Mercury Rx!). Plus, untested apps may play their parts as well as other 'glitches'.

Then of course thinking Mercury in confused, secretive Pisces denotes a cosmic picture of a difficult voting situation full of disorganization, a lack of clear thinking, and deception. Hopefully not, yet such conditions may be worsened by the fact that America's 12 South PE's Mercury @18Pisces will be transited by fraudulent Neptune on March 3, 2020. However, at the Full Moon of March 9, 2020, Mercury turns Direct @28AQ12 conjunct US natal Moon (We The People) suggesting a period when members of the public tend to identify with those who share their thoughts. And they'll most likely vote for the progressive ideas (AQ) they promote.

So the Full Moon (a 'Super Moon') on March 9, 2020 clocks in @19Vir37 and may supply the public discourse with discussions of Virgoan health concerns (exs: corona virus, CDC funding cuts and/or restoration, GOP repeals of Obamacare provisions, etc) This Full Moon is the culminating 'bookend' of the February 23, 2020 New Moon @4Pis29 across the Virgo-Pisces victim-savior axis.

Note: Between the March 9th and 24th lunations arrives Spring Equinox 2020 on March 19 (DC Horoscope shown).

Then comes the March 24, 2020 New Moon @4Ari12 which culminates with the April 7, 2020 Full Moon, another 'Super Moon', @18Lib43. This Full Moon is depicted, below, for it shines its bright, revealing rays upon the natal 2nd house Jupiter (Stationary, turning Direct) of Donald Trump. Will more of his financial secrets, taxes and crimes, be revealed? Well, in addition, the Sun-Moon opposition squares both wealthy Jupiter and hidden wealth Pluto and you'll find a few of the T-Square's midpoint potentials penned on the chart (please enlarge!), upper center.

Now the final lunation in April 2020 is the New Moon of April 23 @3Tau24, the degree of the Discovery of Chiron (3Tau08), the Wounded Healer centaur. To me, a Moon-Chiron contact suggests that a perceptual shield is wide open for those who value its cosmic insights and benefits!

A Curious Synchronicity: Summer 2010 and the War of 1812

With today being July 4th I've been reading about the War of 1812 which I know very little about. Fought between American patriots and British forces, the Royal Navy, and certain Native American tribes wanting a federation of their own (with British encouragement in order to limit US expansion), the War began on June 18, 1812 and ended by Britain and American signing the Treaty of Ghent. It was events of this war that inspired Francis Scott Key to pen The Star Spangled Banner, our national anthem.

And what is the curious synchronicity between the War of 1812 and the summer of 2010? Perhaps you remember another act of British aggression that occurred in Summer 2010--the Deepwater Horzozon Oil "Spill" in the Gulf of Mexico which we lay at the feet of the British Petroleum Oil Company. Or should I say, the BP Corporation? Here's my original post on BP's oil disaster which includes the Independence horoscope of Mexico and the horoscope of the Deepwater Horizon Oil Fiasco itself with power asteroid Hidalgo rising.

Both events, the start of the War on June 18, 1812 and the massive 2010 oil leak (in which Halliburton also played a major role) that attacked the US coastline occurred under the influence of Solar Eclipses in the 12 South Saros Series.

And so the theme of 12 South applies to the War of 1812 of British aggression and the BP oil attack of 2010--the first event involved France, the second involved Mexico: long term draining issues at first seem worse then suddenly clear with successful outcomes. (Brady's Predictive Astrology.) In 1812, 12S fell @22Pisces which suggests sea and naval action; in 2010 12S fell @19Cancer, another watery, oceanic hint plus 19 Cancer+ rounded up hits a difficult fixed star, Castor with its potentials for murder, loss, and/or the crippling of limbs (A. Louis). BP cut corners and people died, if you remember. And of course, the financial issue of trade lies beneath both events.

So it seems that yours truly is on Britain's case this Independence Day! And here I'm fussing against The Empire in spite of the genealogy research I've done lately into my own English roots. Could it be I fight against myself?
