Romney on secret video talks Poor Voters (MoJo video) w Jupiter-Neptune

Why Does Mitt Run? Or, The Love of Money Really Is the Root of All Evil

by Jude Cowell

Yes, America's welfare society is an awful thing especially when our nation has been gutted for decades by Those Who Would Privatize social institutions for their own profit and gain. But to me, a welfare society isn't as awful as allowing American citizens, women, children, the disabled, the elderly, and the disenfranchised from their jobs and their homes to wander our streets and huddle under bridges until death takes them by the hand and gets them out of the way of Social Darwinists and Objectivists like Romney, Paul Ryan, the Koch Brothers, and their comrades in arms, both here and abroad.

Below, you may hear the opinion of Mitt 'Mr. Offshore to China' Romney on the abstract (for him) topic of America's poor and struggling ones and how he knows they'll automatically vote for Barack Obama. Well, duh.

So thanks, Mother Jones for secretly recording this well-heeled heel with a corporate bottomline for a heart:

Astro-Note: as you may know, I've typed quite a bunch here on Mitt Romney's natal planets in Pisces, sign of the Two Fish which can either swim upward toward a Higher Purpose, or downward toward selfish materialism and ultimate loss. Pisces can be creatively inspired and compassionate or the victimizer of anyone he sees as beneath him in the ocean of life while indulging a penchant for negative escapism into sailing mode, horse dabbling, or whatever past time holds social status for him or that creates more wealth.

Tax-dodger Romney was born on March 12, 1947 when Sun, Mercury, and Mars were in Pisces which is ruled by wealthy corporation-forming Jupiter and sub-ruled by fraudulent yet sometimes inspired Neptune. As a pair, Jupiter and Neptune may signify religious fervor, yes, but together they also represent culprits and crooks such as speculators, swindlers, wastrels, spend thrifts, and those who love to make money by spinning grand schemes out of little or nothing into vague plans and enterprises that need rubes and pawns beneath them to play fall guys and scapegoats. And of course, the bubbly concept and use of inflation is their natural way of being.

Therefore, Mr. Romney thinks, plans, and communicates like a nebulous Pisces (Mercury), acts and begins things like a Pisces (Mars), and has a Piscean personality, ego, essence, and purpose (Sun) which describes what the American people will get if he somehow fishily finagles the presidency. And with natal Moon and Jupiter closely conjoined in corporate, big business, secretive, controlling Scorpio, Mitt's emotional needs are highly conflated with such Scorpionic, Jupiterian themes where there are no limits to his vision.

Yes, Mitt the Fish sure is angling for the Oval Office and salivating over all the goodies that come with it!

Good reading pre-November 6th: Voter Suppression: Coming to a State Near You?

Then if you're curious about what Mittens is going through now (due to his own inadequacies and dearth of genuine qualities for leadership), here's Mitt Romney's September Challenge.

And while we're on the topic of what Romney wants to do with our poorer and weaker Americans, let's remember the following snippet from FDR's Inaugural Address of January 20, 1937--the first time the Oath of Office was taken on that date rather than in early March (which morphed US natal Sun--the leader--from Pisces into Aquarius:

"The test of our progress is not whether we add more to the abundance of those who have much; it is whether we provide enough for those who have too little."

By such a humanitarian standard, a Romney presidency would result in the very opposite of karmic progress for America by further reducing even the most basic support for those of us who have too little, many of whom are victims of greedy corporatists like Bainster Mitt Romney.

FDR tests our progress, White House debt meeting 7.13.11

As the debt ceiling-budget stand-off continues in Washington DC with Republicans drooling over their big chance to roll back FDR's New Deal programs and slash the tires on LBJ's Great Society jalopy, some words from Franklin Roosevelt's Inaugural speech of Jan 20, 1937 seem appropriate for the short-sighted on Capitol Hill.

Actually, I believe theses Utopians are very long-sighted since the plan to change the course of America (from what we-the-people have always been led to believe it is) is coming to austere fruition before our eyes (austere for us, dandy fine for them, they think.)

So being more on the side of FDR-style politics in times of financial troubles, and wishing the best for the American people if not for the radical, success-at-any-cost politicians now infesting Capitol Hill, I'm republishing a brief excerpt from FDR which for me sums up much of the question of 'what sort of country do we wish America to be?'

"The test of our progress is not whether we add more to the abundance of those who have much; it is whether we provide enough for those who have too little."

Since progressive Uranus is America's totem planet of independence and freedom, the current transit of asteroid Midas in the range of 8 to 9 Gemini places the Midases of the world directly upon US natal Uranus 8Gem55.

Rep. Dennis Kucinich just said on the House floor, "Stop playing political games with Social Security." For whatever good it does, thanks, Mr. Kucinich. In spite of what Republicans say over and over, Social Security is hardly an "unfunded entitlement program" since by law workers pay into it (some of us pay 100% of the tax because we are self-employed) - the fund has been stolen blind by Congress, and we're left with an I.O.U. which now the GOP doesn't want to pay back. They don't want to pay on the credit card account Bush-Cheney ran up for 8 years either and they knew what they were doing when they passed the indebted baton on to President Obama, a Democrat.

Part of a long-range plan!

Now here are two more FDR quotes which vibrate all through the current financial impasse in Washington DC along side the quote mentioned above:

“Don’t forget what I discovered that over ninety percent of all national deficits from 1921 to 1939 were caused by payments for past, present, and future wars.”

“Not only our future economic soundness but the very soundness of our democratic institutions depend on the determination of our government to give employment to idle men.”

Save money, oil, and gas: stop our foreign wars! Or have war profiteers begin picking up the tab which is really theirs anyway.

Meanwhile, though jobs are elusive in our nation and this greatly reduces receipts for the US Treasury Department with which to pay our bills, Capitol Hillers are embroiled over the incandescent light bulb ban issuing from the bill signed by George Bush to wipe out the cheaper bulbs in favor of the more expensive variety which, here in the room where I type, casts a gentle glow from a lamp in similar fashion to mood lighting and which is hardly sufficient for seeing what you need to see.

Wednesday July 13, 2011 White House 4:00 pm edt: Rs and Ds Meet Again

As for this afternoon's debt meeting at the White House @ 4:00 pm edt, 21Sco26 rises with the austere Moon/Saturn midpoint in tow. US natal Pluto 27Cap33 Rx is our first natal planet to rise, it's a Moon Hour (changes, fluctuations), and the Moon 3Cap15 approaches wealthy Pluto 5Cap49 Rx in 2nd house of Earning Ability, Self-Worth, and Money. NN is there are well signifying the direction (NN) the meeting will take concerning 2nd house matters.

Moon '4Cap' = "A Party Entering a Large Canoe" and naturally one must wonder which political party this may refer to: the Democrats joining in with the extreme austrity measures of the GOP? Or the Republicans backing out of the no-tax-hike corner they put themsleves into by listening to the likes of Grover Norquist and Karl Rove? We'll see if any changes occur today within this ideological stand-off which threatens to make social-financial conditions much much worse for the American people who now struggle to get by.

Can a total collapse of America by these chaos-creating Utopians be avoided?

"Austerity is here!" Alex Jones video; US transits of austerity

Video: Alex Jones on Austerity in America.

Well, if someone wanted my top picks of astrological factors that describe our nation's current atmosphere of 'austerity cuts' I would have to cite four:

1. the background influence of America's Secondary Progressed Full Moon of December 24, 2008 when we reached our limits of expansion (4Vir10/Pis) during the throes of Financial Collapse 2008;

2. the transit of Saturn (planet of austerity, realism, restriction, loss, and delay) to US natal Neptune 22Vir25, planet of dreams, ideals, illusions, loss - and the masses which in 1776 was posited in Virgo, the sign of Work, Service, and Health.

3. the transit of often fraudulent, deceptive Neptune to US natal Moon (we-the-people) bringing the difficult transit's ongoing sense of rootlessness, losses of homes and possessions, lies to the people, and the BP-Gulf oil blowout that still bedevils the livelihoods and health of the good people of the Gulf Coast region.

In addition, US Secondary Moon has this year conjoined US natal and Progressed Neptune as well which adds more misery and confusion, and lengthens and intensifies the dissolving effects of Neptune-to-US-natal-Moon transit such as we see with this year's revelation of robo-signed foreclosures, etc. (See sidebar link to John Townley's article on Neptune afflicting America's natal chart, or simply click here.)

Certainly other transits and progressions are playing their parts as well - some positive and helpful, some adding to our woes - but these four are proving massive enough to steal most of the cake from our economy, job market, and dinner tables. (Let them eat GM corn?)

4. the next planetary influence on my austerity list has to be: US Saturn Return, a drawn out three-fer this time, and in progress as I type (14Lib48: Dec 3, 2010, Mar 22, 2011 Rx, Aug 28, 2011.) Accountability is one of Saturn's dearest lessons and perhaps the fresh release from WikiLeaks of docs from the 'diplomatic' community gives an example of such a lesson sorely needed by the US government.

Yes, a return to realism and sanity is definitely indicated during a Saturn Return, and imho, the vision of a one-world-government ruled by the US needs to be abandoned once and for all - even though I believe our nation and people have already been sacrificed on the altar of that agenda.

Our Loss of Illusions

Though transiting Saturn conjoined US natal Neptune only once on August 27, 2009 (this time around in Saturn's 29/30 year cycle), the hit was apparently strong enough given other circumstances and weaknesses.

Around that date and ever since, the Saturnian word austerity rings from Capitol Hill and across the nation and threatens more sacrifice and loss for those tottering upon the bottom rungs of society - with some Americans newly ensconced upon the bottom rungs since the grossly wealthy Oilcan Harrys of the world are having their financial way with those whom they perceive to be their underlings while corporate titans fail to create US jobs - no matter how big or extended the fatcats' tax breaks become. ('Demand' follows paychecks, fellas!)

Yes, Saturn-to-natal-Neptune can mean a dream (Neptune) coming true (Saturn) yet in our financial condition it has brought us its 'grim face of reality' vibe with a huge splash of Saturn's cold water upon the idea of 'jobs coming back'.

Plus, the phrase austerity (Saturn) cuts (Mars) implicates the planet of quarrels and war in the dire picture as well, and many people (self included) think that slashing US war expenditures would be highly beneficial for our national budget. For US tax payers to continue funding security for all of Europe seems ridiculously laughable, and now is financially undo-able.

Watch This Video?

Yes, I too wish Alex Jones would remove the bullhorn from in front of his mouth and calm down so that more people would take his words and warnings seriously. For like most people, I don't respond well to someone shouting at me and am convinced that the info gets through to my pea brain a lot more efficiently when a measured case using lower decibels is made!

And President Obama's announcement of a two-year pay freeze for government workers? It would dovetail nicely and make more economic difference if Washington willingly added a two-year (or permanent) pay cut for all congress members, something that Rep. Marcy Kaptur called for months ago.

To close this austerity-laced post, here's a relevant bit of Franklin D. Roosevelt's Inaugural speech of Jan 20, 1937:

"The test of our progress is not whether we add more to the abundance of those who have much; it is whether we provide enough for those who have too little."

To which I add a hearty and common good Amen.

Poverty in US way up, Power Elite doing just fine

On September 10, 2009, the US Census Bureau released the latest figures for poverty rates in America which now affect one in eight Americans.

Our plutocrats-in-charge, the grossly wealthy and morally deformed power elite, remain unmoved as their NWO plans steamroll along.

And it continues to amaze me that so few people in this country see a connection!

On Jan 1, 2006, with Astrology as a lens and intuition my guide, I was blogging like the dissenting gnat I am here on SO'W and fussing about upcoming Soup Lines Across America. Was I wrong? Well, I wanted to be, yet felt a sinking feeling that I was not.

Please check out a bit of (Freemason) President Franklin D. Roosevelt's Jan 20, 1937 Inaugural Address where he defines the test of our progress, the dynamics of which I assert were of no concern to George Bush or to other US oligarchs.

So Bush's financial crisis of 2007/2008 expectably occurred, ostensibly giving states and the federal government many excuses for cutting back on public services just when they're needed most; now we see where Republican policies have led - to lukewarm bowls of Sole of Shoe Soup for many Americans, if they can get them.

Bush-Paulson Bailout Bill a scam

Yes yes yes! A mega-heist has been perpetrated, as I keep complaining, and here Paul Craig Roberts asks if the Bush-Paulson Bailout Bill was a scam...yes!

NPR is reporting as I type that the deficit is 'far worse' than was expected...$2 trillion, as we'll hear tomorrow when the report is released. Can't wait.

So as Mr. Roberts mentions in the article linked above, there is no money for social programs (only for war.) They're getting ready to turn the screws on the ill, the elderly, orphans, and on anyone else thinking the US government has the integrity to honor its agreements with we-the-people.

Nice crowd. The renting of our social fabric is going well - for the power elite, thanks.

When are the heisters of Capitol Hill and their lawyers and ritzy friends going to return what they've embezzled for decades? Puh!

Of course, stirring up our emotions and indignation and sending us out onto the streets is part of the plan so being the meanie that I am, I refuse to give them the satisfaction!
