The Fixed Grand Cross Eclipse of the 3rd Millennium

Manifesting in Sun-ruled Leo, sign of the lion, the 1 North Solar Eclipse of August 11, 1999 is sometimes referred to as the Nostradamus Eclipse because through it, the seer pointed humanity toward future difficulties as we faced the New Millennium. Yes, the eclipse occurred somewhat prior to the actual start of the Millennium (in January 2001, not 2000) but its strength as a Total eclipse should not be denied, plus, much depends upon the version of the seer's quatrains for not all of analyses of his work are alike.

That the 1999 Eclipse contained planets upon the rigid Fixed Grand Cross of Taurus, Leo, Scorpio, and Aquarius imparts a prophetic glow due to mention in the Book of Revelation of the associated animals (oxen, lion, eagle) plus, the Angel Point of Aquarius pouring out to the world the water of the spirit. All planets are at or near the mid-degrees of the Fixed signs.

Astrologically, my point is that the 1 North Eclipse of 1999 is cosmically imprinted upon the third Millennium and upon humankind, and that keeping up with planetary transits to the 1 North Horoscope of August 11, 1999 remains a worthwhile endeavor for those curious about the unfolding of time and the existential concerns so many people have these days. Apparently, even Nostradamus was understandably concerned.

At Its Worst: Angels Loosed Winds of War and Strife

Now as you know, the August 1999 1 North Eclipse sports another disturbing label: the "King of Alarm (or Terror) Eclipse" as the herald of a more violent period on Earth as most people would agree, especially once negative events and crime really got underway with the WTC attacks and America's unfortunate mishandling of the situation (aka, "Dubya's Revenge" on Poppy Bush's behalf). That's some 'mishandling' to hurtle the mighty US military in the wrong direction, isn't it? And so many lies were necessary in order to fool the country into supporting his and Dick Cheney's recklessness and plundering goals. As it turned out, their arrogant "Project for a New American Century" (PNAC) was a major dud that caused the deaths of millions of people. The phrase "war crimes" is often tossed around yet nothing is done.

Republican Party Now a De*th Cult?

Then fast forward to nowadays in the not-so-New Millennium, and we're experiencing the increase of terrorism via extremist politicians in league with global and domestic thugs who are actively attempting to make violence an accepted way of life in America. But are you buying it? Purchasing violence for your children you are? Vote Republican in 2024 and you vote for more of the strong-armed paternalism that brought our country the Catholic SCOTUS decisions against women and against voting rights with additional travesties of justice due to belch from The Bench any time now.

Neptune-Pluto: Organized Criminals with Social influence

Two major transits to America's 1776 planets that undergird these risky times are the US Pluto Return (plutocratic manipulation from wealthy so-and-sos, foreign and domestic), and transit Neptune in Pisces opposing US 1776 Neptune in Virgo heralding a period of persecution in various sections of society and occurring across the victim-savior axis of Virgo-Pisces (fact vs fiction, too). One obvious difference: in 1776, plutocrats and their associates created America, now those animated by the destructive spirit are determined to tear it down on behalf of Russia, China, and V_____ City. Obviously, despotic autocrats and willful bullies are highly allergic to democracy!

Okay, I'll hush my fussin' and simply add the bi-wheel you see, above, which shows a recent, significant example of planetary transits contacting the 1999 1 North Eclipse Horoscope in a negative way: the Lunar Eclipse of the 2022 Midterms @16Taurus+ - conjunct radical disruptor Uranus, planet of chaos, shocks, anarchy, and assaults - and Geminian Trump's guiding planet.

And so the 2022 Midterms Lunar Eclipse creates a cosmic time link between the 'King of Terror' Eclipse (imprinted upon the New Millennium) and the violence-adjacent, Trump-supporting 'maga' politicians somehow elected at the 2022 Midterms, and who now work to sabotage the US House of Representatives - and with "Senator" Tuberville doing his Trumpish part to weaken the US military.

You know, if I were a Democrat elected to the House, there's no way I'd feel safe sitting near any one of sore loser Trump's loose cannon *maga*s proudly sporting their AR-15 lapel pins. Would you?

Yet Another Pivotal Year for America and The World

Among the several cosmic and earthly events coming in the year 2024, America's presidential election ranks at the top of our nation's to-do list. It's been written in the past (by Michael Howard, for one) that this will be our country's last such election with our final Inauguration on January 20, 2025. Well, this particular American does not choose to believe this, yet despite the multiple horocopes one can use for America's founding (when the New Order of the Ages began - in 1776, as we know, yet our first official Inauguration was held in 1789), let's instead progress the New Millennium Horoscope for clues as to what lies ahead, not just for America but for all of humanity.

The New Millennium Horoscope; SP New Moon of 2024:

Point is, one helpful technique for gleaning how conditions are evolving is Secondary Progressions ('SP': day-for-a-year), and the milestone years of SP New and SP Full Moons which function as timing devices for new phases being seeded at New Moon, and the culmination or fulfillment stage of development at the SP Full Moon.

And so by progression, the New Millennium Horoscope reveals a significant phasal shift in Year 2024. And actually, we've discussed this topic previously in November 2021. Here's a snippet from that post followed by a link to its entirety where you'll find the same dual chart image shown above:

Now in both charts, a motivated Mars is significant for he leads a Locomotive shape of planets (ruthless executives determined upon success - from his own sign of big business Scorpio). However, the final dispositor in both charts is radical Uranus in its own sign of Aquarius from where the 'Sky God' behaves progressively, futuristically, and often cooperatively on behalf of the group yet, as a planet of change, reform, and anarchy can choose to behave rebelliously while magnifying and exaggerating to distract from the issues. And as we've seen, some serious troublemaking can be the result -".

The New Millennium's Progressed New Moon @4AQ36: Society!

Now there are significant chart factors in the SP New Moon Horoscope that I had intended to discuss more fully in a second post, or at least, had wanted to point them out for dear readers who might wish to follow up on them themselves. Primarily I refer to the conditions of SP Jupiter and SP Saturn for the two societal planets are at Station Retrograde by progression indicating internal shifts within the realms of generous Jupiter and restrictive Saturn, representing the yin and yang of humanity's existence.

And as you know, when translated into Politics, the pair relates to America's much touted system of 'checks and balances' - so long under assault by domestic and foreign enemies determined to destroy society, to destroy civilization itself, their first and primary target: America. (For when you're the number one cheese, all the rats come for a gnaw and a nibble.) So with Jupiter and Saturn turning direct by progression, a go-ahead condition within the realms of both planets is suggested on a mundane level and should be looked into. Hopefully, one or both of us will have the time and opportunity to do so! Also involved is the current cycle of Jupiter and Saturn for the societal duo met @00AQ29 to begin a new 20-year cycle of their own in December 2020 - conjunct US Inaugural Sun (POTUS).

Year 2024: The Real and The Symbolic

Okay, it's true that SP charts are merely symbolic and are good for timing purposes, if nothing else. So for real world events, we'll also want to consider at some point the Great American Eclipse in April, but initially, the Inauguration 2025 Horoscope linked above. Then there's the one and only Great Conjunction occurring in Year 2024 which would be the Meet-Up of Jupiter and Uranus on April 20, 2024 @21Tau49:48, a milestone within their 14-year cycle of this 'break-through' pair. Urksomely in the political realm, April 20th is a certain past psycho-dictator's birth date so for those who can manage to include his anti-societal self and his failed global take-over in their thoughts, it's worth a ponder.

Of course, as I type in the early morning hours of June 14, 2022, America is in the midst of June 2022's public hearings into Trump's coup attempt of January 6, 2021 which was the orange maniac's orchestrated assault on the peaceful transfer of power, on the Capitol Building and certain Congress members (plus, VP Pence), and on our democratic Republic, if we can keep it.

And speaking of that, perhaps you heard that Monday (Jan 13th) this news broke: 'They are desperate': Trump releases 12-page response to Jan 6 hearing so given his often demonstrated way of responding to challenges by projecting his condition onto others, we know that he is the one who's desperate - to avoid indictment and handcuffs. Yet if this should be the fate of the orange menace, I continue to believe that a super-large sized straight jacket had better be on hand.

New Millennium 2 South Eclipse repeats Jan 5, 2019

As we've previously discussed, on January 5, 2019, the Prenatal Solar Eclipse of the New Millennium in the 2 South Saros Series repeats @15Cap25 as you see in the bi-wheel charts, below, with Capricorn the sign of government, law, and business. Additional notes are penned around the charts including natal placements of Donald Trump (in lavender-pink), plus, some of the primary transits coming soon to the New Millennium chart (in blue). 2019 Saturn and Pluto tend to bring instability to finances, politics, and the social order and are prominent, and the January 5, 2019 Solar Eclipse Ascendant (28Leo08) set for DC conjuncts the natal Ascendant of Mr. Trump which personalizes the eclipse for him. Plus, 2001 Saturn @24Tau34 Rx sits atop the natal Midheaven (Aspirations; Goals) of Trump along with furious Algol of Medusa fame. Please check the notes on the bottom of the chart for upcoming Jupiter and Saturn transits which begin on January 10, 2019 with Jupiter to Pluto which suggests large-scale projects (border fencing?), and increased power, money, and control for plutocrats if for no one else:

Also noted on the chart (in orange) is the disruptive 'wild card' Solar Eclipse @10Can36 which perfects in the 3 North Saros Series on July 2, 2019, something of an early "birthday gift" for America and falling between US natal Jupiter (5:56) and Sun (13:19) with natal Venus of evaluations and values (3Cancer) nearby. 3 North preceded the Crash of 1929, the attacks of 9/11/01 and, in 1983, links to Reagan's 'trickle down economics' scam from which the American people continue to suffer.

Around the 8th cusp of $hared Resources, Credit, Debt, Insurance, Corporatism, and Transformation, quirky Uranus is poised to turn Direct, then careen into Taurus and the 8th house (May 19, 2019) from where it opposes 2001 Mars (in 2nd hou$e), and squares 2001 Neptune (which happened to conjoin US natal South Node in 2001). None of this sounds good, I agree, but we can hope that perhaps the New Millennium Horoscope will prove to be completely useless for looking ahead.

And of course Technology planet Uranus opposing Mars, planet of action and motivation, may describe rebellions, separations, disruptive, rash, or erratic actions to be taken, and unexpected dangers that may occur such as cyber intrusions (hacking, theft) against financial and/or other institutions (ex: continued massive data breaches as we have had with Equifax and Marriott). Squaring networking Neptune, transit Uranus suggests internet disconnections via mysterious entities or enemies, and the possibility of societal unrest especially in relation to civil rights. Reality continues to be under siege along with the promotion of idealistic or faulty notions.

As for current societal conditions, the break up of huge monopolies is long overdue in America for they keep wages down and stifle innovation, among other ills. Can transit Uranus in money sign Taurus catalyze such major changes from the 8th house of the 2001 chart? Well, one thing we know--that with Uranus all results tend to be totally unpredictable and we never know when or if they will strike at all!

A Solar Eclipse for the MarchForOurLives Generation!

Here is some of MSNB's coverage and commentary concerning the MarchForOurLives Protest on Saturday March 24, 2018 on the streets of Washington DC and in cities around the globe. As a former resident of DC, this Flower-Power gal was totally impressed and heartened by the Millennial Generation's righteous activism as Washington DC saw the largest protest on its streets ever from radicalized youth who stood up and spoke truth to power!

And if we look back to the years 2000-2001, the years during which many of the protesters were born, we find a certain Solar Eclipse which perfected upon a Cardinal World Point of manifestation, recognition, and fame--the 3 North @00Can10 occurring on Summer Solstice 2001. Its horoscope set for Washington DC is displayed, below, with chart details penned messily upon it. As you see, this manifestation of 3 North is the Prenatal Solar Eclipse ('PE') of the WTC attacks of 9/11 and contains themes of:

'Over-excessive energy; news involving young people and/or news that transforms a situation; news that causes obsession; large activities are planned but don't get carried away' (paraphrasing Brady's Predictive Astrology).

That the 2001 manifestation of 3 North and its descriptive themes during that time affected children born with it as their personal PE seems obvious to me for its influence of violence and brutality (see Mars-Chiron-Pluto, in red) was felt within the general population during the time frame in which today's teenagers were born. They now express forceful resistance to the pervasive 'gun culture' of the United States as promoted by the NRA and are demanding common-sense gun legislation--otherwise, NRA-compromised politicians will be voted out in the 2018 Midterms by millennials old enough to vote in November 2018 and by younger millennials as they come of voting age in future years. And esoterically speaking, 00Cancer00 is the gate of to birth degree (with its opposite, 00Capricorn00, the 'gate of death' degree).

Now hopefully you might enlarge the horoscope for better reading since there's little if any point in my typing all the notes from the chart. But a few basic details include: Hour of an out-of-bounds Mars; chart-ruler Moon makes no applying aspects to planets yet there's her conjunction with the karmic North Node (6A10) denoting spiritual links and unions, and publicity; the weaponized Mars-Chiron-Pluto conjunction in the 5th house of Children (plus, Pluto-Chiron = Plutocracy). This is a forceful trio of brutality and violence with death-dealing Pluto (13Sag28) conjunct US natal Ascendant (Sibly), and transit Saturn, restrictive planet of karma and loss, approaching US natal Descendant, a Saturn-Pluto marker of the 9/11 attacks. And of course, we know that Dubya Bush and the Pentagon reacted to the 9/11 attacks with weaponry including bombs in the Middle East as they hid behind a manufactured pretext (or a false-flag op) for guiding the American people into endless war--and with the previously prepared draconian 'Bush Doctrine' infused with Dick Cheney's anti-constitutional 1% theory of strike first. We've been had, m'peops. You know, I know it, and the Millennial Generation must certainly know it.

And with America's natal Mars in Gemini retrograde in Libra by progression since 2006 in Libra, we've seen an increase in violent events on US soil as guns are turned toward the population in order, I believe, to undermine the Second Amendment which was created so that Americans can protect themselves against the government and to fight against a militaristic government take-over. Yet the NRA has turned the Amendment into a vehicle for their personal enrichment via massive gun sales.

Now in the chart with 27Can44 rising in Washington DC, we find US natal Pluto Rx on the Descendant angle. Vengeful Venus @14Taurus conjoins US Inaugural Ascendant (POTUS), and the planet of young people, Mercury Rx @22Gem52 (11th house of Groups) will return (Rx) to voice its opinions--in the streets if necessary. Around the chart you may be able to read a few listings of US natal planets which include the fact that 'little' Mercury the Messenger conjoins US natal Mars, planet of guns and shooters and denoting plans put into action--or in the case of March 24, 2018, into activism concerning guns and violence. Of course, we never have US natal Mars turn up without its problematic square to our natal Neptune in Virgo and there we have 'the fog of war' and the Pentagon's tendency for misguided, misdirected, and secretive plans and actions.

History Rhymes: 3 North repeats on July 2, 2019

Of course there's much more information to be seen in the 2001 Solar Eclipse chart and I hope you'll search for it if you haven't previously. But one thing which must be added to this post--that a 3 North Solar Eclipse repeats on July 2, 2019 @11Cancer and falls among America's natal Venus-Jupiter-Sun trio. Therefore, 3 North themes will also repeat within the Collective in Summer 2019 (in time for America's 243th Independence Day) and I suspect that the 2019 Eclipse is a cosmic hint that the #MarchForOurLives movement and its common-sense demands will not be disappearing nearly as soon as the GOP, the few Democrats who are also financially compromised, and the NRA hope it will.

Neptune the Planet of Loss, Dissolution, and Deception

Oh and one more chart factor squished onto the right side of the chart--that 2001's Mars-Saturn midpoint (the death axis) @14Pisces01 has had transit Neptune activating it off and on of late and creating a midpoint picture of grievous losses (Ebertin), cover-ups concerning preparedness (Munkasey), and threats (Tyl) which I believe also affects the Republican Party in particular. Why? Because this is the degree of the Republican Party's natal Neptune (1854) which personalizes the picture and its potentials because it times the party's first-ever Neptune Return now in progress! It's a five-fer return (GOP n Neptune also @14Pis01!) in which the third conjunction perfected on March 6, 2018. The next will occur on October 20, 2018 (in time for the 2018 Midterms!), and the last on December 29, 2018, just prior to early January 2019 when newly elected congressional candidates take their Oaths of Office. SO if enough Millennials get out and Vote on November 6, 2018 they will 'be' the authors of GOP loss!

Isn't Astrology marvelous for its ability to uncover the hidden and link the past with the present and future?!!

July 10, 2017: A Stars Over Washington Reprint and the New Millennium Eclipse

Over the G20 weekend, I began to wonder who would want Donald Trump acting as leader of the 'free' world anyway? This pondering leaves me feeling out of sorts today concerning the political realm so the following is a mere reprint with a few minor edits of something I posted here years ago. A grumpy note from yours truly is added to the end if you can manage to read that far!

The Pre-Natal Eclipse Series of the New Millennium is the 2 South Saros Series which manifested on December 25, 2000 @4Cap15. The 2 South Series involves themes of becoming involved with unusual groups and feeling that one will gain a great deal through such involvement (paraphrasing Brady's Predictive Astrology.)

2 South next manifests on Jan 6, 2019 @15Capricorn25 and as you know, Saturn-ruled Capricorn is the sign of government, law, business, and other Saturnian realms.

In her book Your Prenatal Eclipse Rose Lineman describes a Solar Eclipse in Capricorn as advising a serious approach that stresses conservative, conscientious expression. In order to achieve karmic progress, we must overcome self-indulgence and master the self-discipline of the sign and its ruler, Saturn.

Ms. Lineman also states that an Eclipse in Capricorn should be regarded as an opportunity to gain substantial karmic advances but the price is hard work and dedication at the expense of personal pleasure and worldly prestige. People born under a Prenatal Eclipse in Capricorn tend to join business and professional organizations and show interest in political affairs.

July 10, 2017: Well, those are the sorts of energies and expressions we longed for prior to the beginning of the New Millennium and until September 11, 2001. Needless to say, in 2017 many of us now have starker views of those who interrupt humankind's progress, and divert and squelch our longings for peace and positivity. So, as I used to post here earlier in the life of Stars Over Washington--the people who fancy themselves 'world leaders', in a word, suck. We all could have had a decent, safer world in this New Millennium but instead civilization is saddled with jokers, knaves, fools, and crooks running around ruining things for everybody while striving to protect their cushy little nests.

As if the dark lord they serve will care one little iota for them in the end!
