On May 5, 2023 a Lunar Eclipse perfects @14Sco58 which conjuncts the Moon in the 1913 Federal Reserve Act Horoscope shown here, upper right; lower left is the May 5th Scorpio Lunar Eclipse Horoscope; both charts are set for Washington DC. As you know, the Taurus-Scorpio 2/8 polarity is the Big Business axis of greed, corporations, finance, and investment, and you'll notice that the powerful Sun-Pluto opposition (upper right corner) of December 23, 1913 tops the 6:02 pm est horoscope at the Goal Point - and the Sun @1Capricorn 'acts as an agent for or against structural collapse':

Additionally, we should mention that the May 5th Lunar Eclipse falls upon America's Inaugural Ascendant-Descendant axis of January 20th at noon, the Oath of Office, so the White House and/or presidency are likely to be somehow reflected, or disrupted, in May by the upcoming Scorpio Lunar Eclipse. Plus, President Biden was born with Mars, Mercury, Sun, and Venus in Scorpio, if it matters.

DC Horoscopes: December 23, 1913 and May 5, 2023

Moon @15Scorpio, the Eagle Point of Regeneration, conjuncts fixed star Zuben Elgenubi with its keyphrase, positive social reform. However, in Astrology when this star conjuncts Luna, the cosmic picture can darken to levels of disappointment, anxiety, and wrongful accusations which seem these days to be the required fuel for Washington DC politics to run on, at least as a tactic for far-right saboteurs.

But then again, yours truly is one of those skeptics who thinks that Fedhead Jerome Powell is raising interest rates (as if) to control inflation when it's primarily corporate greed driving the financial jalopy so that the Biden adminstration can take the blame for the US economy possibly running into a ditch - at least as planned within the fevered brains of far-right Republicans who have peculiar domestic and foreign masters to please. After all, politicians' wildly inflated incomes depend upon their compliance by which they hope to avoid being primaried in 2024 and thus losing their posh seats.

So will the rays of the May 5th Scorpio Full Moon Eclipse lift a veil or two on previous or present financial secrets? Will leaked information cause a financial and/or political scandal or yet another controversy spawned by wild conspiracy theories? Or, is the Lunar Eclipse a cosmic signal that the American people (Moon 1913) are being bamboozled once again by a tone deaf Federal Reserve of 2023 prescribing an erroneous solution that only makes things worse and causes massive job lay-offs? We'll both have to stay tuned to find out. My vote goes to Zuben Elgenubi's positivity!

Additional notes re Jerome Powell: born February 4, 1953 in Washington DC, no known birth time but a noon chart shows Sun @15Aquarius, Moon @17Libra, Jupiter @12Taurus, and Saturn strong at Direct Station @27Libra and exalted. Of particular interest is Mr. Powell's Prenatal Solar Eclipse ('PE") @28Leo conjunct royal Regulus which manifested on August 20, 1952 in the difficult 8 South Saros Series ('loss; separation': B. Brady) because an 8 South eclipse repeats on October 2, 2024 @10Libra.

Therefore, 8 South is the PE of both Election 2024 and Inauguration 2025. My suspicion, unfortunate as it is, is that all this cosmic solar-lunar synchronicity in May and October 2023 could be a page or two from the far-right script meant to undermine democracy, disrupt our social fabric, and demolish the Democratic Party on behalf of a dystopian government take-over such as was seen via the failed January 6, 2021 'maga' coup - a rehearsal, if you will.

Yet perhaps we can agree that one of the comforts of using an astrological lens to study such events, conditions, individuals, and disruptions is that forewarned is forearmed!

Spring 2023 Planets return to Midterms 2022 Horoscope

When America's testy 2022 Midterm Elections were held on the very day of a Taurus Lunar Eclipse, transit Uranus, erratic planet of revolt, anarchy, chaos, disruption, separation, contrariness, and independence (and America's totem planet of revolution) clocked in at 16Tau56:48 conjunct the eclipsed Moon and opposing the Sun, and many of us felt the karmic implications heavy in the atmosphere. And it didn't take knowledge of Astrology to feel the significance of the day.

Rounded up to "17 Taurus," many folks found that the Sabian Symbol for Uranus described the 'maga' and far-right (aka, far-reich) Republicans and militiamen thugs of vigilantism determined that every 2022 Midterm Election would go their way: "A Symbolical Battle Between 'Swords' and 'Torches'" which conjures images of tiki torches and neo-Nazi marches. In this scenario, The Establishment must be the 'swords' in the democracy vs fascism battle. See the chart, upper right, for US 1776 Saturn rising opposed and thus challenged by the April 3/4 Sun in Aries (opponents in leadership positions, plus, 'sloppy work is unacceptable').

Yet as we know, in November 2022 the House of Representatives somehow did manage to turn Republican although it was not a red wave as they'd hoped. Even so, we now watch 'maga' antics on Capitol Hill as they disrupt, sabotage, and degrade the US Congress with foolish legal situations and a clown car atmosphere of mockery, deception, and incompetence - with all the drama performed on behalf of a despotic, fascist cult of personality, and not for the sake of our democratic Republic at all.

Besides, "own the libs" style news clips must be performed and harvested for far-right TV shows, click bait, and 2024 campaign ads!

Midterms 2022 Chart Hit by Mars and Uranus in 2023

So, remembering the dangerous Mars-Uranus Conjunction @6Tau44 on Inauguration Day 2021, and consulting the 2022 Midterms Horoscope of November 8, 2022, it seems significant that both Mars the warrior, arsonist, and/or activist, and Uranus the zealot, anarchist, and/or rebel return to their respective positions in the 2022 Midterm Election Horoscope as you see in the dual chart image, below.

DC Horoscopes: March 14, 2023 Mars Return @25Gem02 (lower left); April 3, 2023 Uranus Return @16Tau56 (upper right); prominent in both return charts is a fantastical midpoint picture of deception, Sun = Mercury-Neptune, as notated on the right side of the chart and highlighted in orange:

Thus, the period between and including March 14 - April 3, give or take a day or so, seems to me to be of particular concern while the 6 South Eclipse is still of influence in society, so mind how you go. Yet significantly, unpredictable Uranus can act early, on time, late - or never.

Meanwhile, for historical context regarding these chaotic, even perilous, Uranian matters affecting US elections, office holders, and the populace, a previous post tells a tale of Taurus Midterm Eclipses 2022 and 1938! because similar cosmic conditions and events are shown between 2022 and 1938 when Republicans made gains in the House and the Senate by promoting their anti-FDR policies and rhetoric. Obviously, fear was a major background influence in society in 1938 and bad faith actors used it much as they do now with debates on "war" topping the political menu, and, as Rachel Maddows's revealing Ultra podcast spotlights, Nazis and their American tools were active in America.

Now as you know, on the financial level, GOP-ers continue to use similar arguments and gaslighting, with the same goal of collapsing our social safety net and heisting the money, but one can always hope that a majority of Americans now realize that the GOP expects them - not only to vote against their own best interests - but to hand control of the helm of state to an autocratic dictator pushing more of the far-reich's hateful, brutal policies and sadistic laws than we've so far seen.

Therefore, We the People must do everything possible to toss such anti-societal traitors into the dustbin of history to wallow with their cruel idols of the 1930s and 1940s.

But tell me: am I being too subtle? Because there's a theme of tragedy herein via a major cosmic signpost which must be noted: that the Lunar Eclipse of 1938 @15Taurus occurred two days prior to the Nazi bloodbath, aka, "the night of broken glass" - Kristallnacht. Are magaites and their vigilantes brewing up another storm? Well, think of the current House of Representatives and its 'maga' gun lovers lurking there as they pretend to "lead" in the legislative branch of government that they and their thugs attempted to overthrow by violent coup on January 6, 2021.

So if the tired old phrases, What's wrong with this picture? and What could possibly go wrong? ever applied to Washington DC politics, this must be the time.

September 18, 2021: A Far-Right Rally in DC - or not?

September 3, 2021: Well, it seems the report that a far-right rally (by 'Proud Boys' and/or 'Oath-Keepers', etc) is planned for September 18, 2021 is disputed by various far-right saboteurs. See Proud Boys Deny Reports of September 18 Capitol Rally: 'Sounds like Bait'. If not held then, perhaps a rescheduling of the rally has occurred, a strategic withdrawal in order to regroup, plan anew, and thereby hope to add a surprise factor no longer possible on September 18th.

So because their September 18th rally is iffy, who wants to waste precious time setting up a horoscope for what may not happen at all? Closer to the date? Perhaps. Besides, it's Friday and the Moon entered shiny Leo at 11:58 am edt this morning and will languish in the sign of entertainment, drama, and pride (!) until Sunday evening (7:06 pm edt) so that time-wastrel won't be yours truly!

Still, there is a prominent midpoint picture which concerns criminality in effect all that day with Jupiter Rx as apex planet. Actually, the picture is in effect for the second half of September and involves the planetary pair of underworld and/or organized crime, fantasy, people with strange ideas, obsessions, manias, drugs, occultists, the supernatural, 'equating decay with progress', confusion, loss, grief - and, more to the point: 'subversion within security agencies' and 'controls over centers of political power' (which you know is the far-right's desire): see America's Neptune-Pluto Cycle of Crime and Fantasy.

Yes, there are positive potentials in the religious and creative realms within the karmic Neptune-Pluto pairing but considering that the elephant in the room is the potential for far-right violence and extremism at their "rallies" below are negative potentials which can possibly manifest when Neptune-Pluto = Jupiter influences social and political issues and events:

Sectarians (R. Ebertin); social or political pressures; an expanded desire to enjoy a better future; the desire to use drugs (Munkasey); feeling at one with the way things should be (Tyl).

Finally, let's close with Noel Tyl's general (positive and negative) details concerning the Neptune-Pluto duo in his book on Solar Arcs (#ad), any of which may or may not be expanded or increased by boundary-breaker Jupiter while at the titanic midpoint's apex:
