On January 20, 2021, in the final chaotic minutes of the Trump White House, chief of staff Mark Meadows rushed to the DOJ to "hand-deliver a redacted copy" (of the "binder" of raw Russian intel) "for a last review"."

Is this why Joe Biden took the 2021 Oath of Office at 11:15 am instead of the traditional noon hour? (Horoscope shown, below.)

Well, so far, the most comprehensive details concerning the missing intelligence "binder" (stack) of raw Russian intelligence that I've found is The mystery of the missing binder: How a collection of raw Russian intelligence disappeared under Trump, a joint reporting effort by CNN.

Now there are multiple horoscopes involved with this intelligence failure and if a mere post could be an e-book, I'd publish them and we'd discuss at length. However, briefness is a virtue in the blogging sphere so let's consider a previously discussed post from way back in 2015 because I figured it would be a big deal in the world of secrets and Trump collusion with Russia, Horoscope of the RNC Full Moon Conjunct US 1776 Pluto. This Full Moon in July 2016 became exact during the RNC, and cast a lunar spotlight upon, not just America's Pluto (27Cap33), but upon our national Mercury-Pluto opposition of surveillance and secrets, those withheld, leaked, and shared by and against our intelligence agencies. After all, knowledge is power, as 'they' always say, and our Mercury-oppo-Pluto wants total control of it all.

So here's a newer version of the RNC 2016 Full Moon Horoscope snugged as a transit chart around America's Powell Horoscope ("first vote," as championed by historian-astrologer Gary Lorentzen), showing that, among other cosmic factors, this now-revealed - though still mysterious - intelligence theft by Trump, aka, agent orange - is very much a Moon-Pluto affair:

Curiously, the planet of chaos, rebellion, and assault, radical reactionary Uranus, conjuncts the IC (Foundation) of the July 2016 Full Moon Horoscope with an intriguing Sabian Symbol word picture: "A Double Promise Reveals Its inner and Outer Meaning." My suspicion is that the disappearing binder of secrets revelation of December 2023 is one clump of secrets now in process of being revealed.

Meanwhile, below is another bi-wheel of horoscopes which might interest a reader or two since the above "final chaotic minutes" of the Trump White House on Inauguration Day 2021 could have been a factor in why Joe Biden actually took the Oath of Office a few minutes prior to the usual noon time especially since Trump's term didn't officially end until noon. Perhaps the Biden team thought there could be legal or practical reasons why an early Oath-Taking was a good idea. We may never know, but here's the bi-wheel where we find Inaugural Venus @15Cap04 conjunct Inaugural Midheaven ('MC") and conjunct RNC 2016 Pluto, a transit suggesting that Joe Biden took control of the situation; a few other contacts are notated as well:

Spring 2023 Planets return to Midterms 2022 Horoscope

When America's testy 2022 Midterm Elections were held on the very day of a Taurus Lunar Eclipse, transit Uranus, erratic planet of revolt, anarchy, chaos, disruption, separation, contrariness, and independence (and America's totem planet of revolution) clocked in at 16Tau56:48 conjunct the eclipsed Moon and opposing the Sun, and many of us felt the karmic implications heavy in the atmosphere. And it didn't take knowledge of Astrology to feel the significance of the day.

Rounded up to "17 Taurus," many folks found that the Sabian Symbol for Uranus described the 'maga' and far-right (aka, far-reich) Republicans and militiamen thugs of vigilantism determined that every 2022 Midterm Election would go their way: "A Symbolical Battle Between 'Swords' and 'Torches'" which conjures images of tiki torches and neo-Nazi marches. In this scenario, The Establishment must be the 'swords' in the democracy vs fascism battle. See the chart, upper right, for US 1776 Saturn rising opposed and thus challenged by the April 3/4 Sun in Aries (opponents in leadership positions, plus, 'sloppy work is unacceptable').

Yet as we know, in November 2022 the House of Representatives somehow did manage to turn Republican although it was not a red wave as they'd hoped. Even so, we now watch 'maga' antics on Capitol Hill as they disrupt, sabotage, and degrade the US Congress with foolish legal situations and a clown car atmosphere of mockery, deception, and incompetence - with all the drama performed on behalf of a despotic, fascist cult of personality, and not for the sake of our democratic Republic at all.

Besides, "own the libs" style news clips must be performed and harvested for far-right TV shows, click bait, and 2024 campaign ads!

Midterms 2022 Chart Hit by Mars and Uranus in 2023

So, remembering the dangerous Mars-Uranus Conjunction @6Tau44 on Inauguration Day 2021, and consulting the 2022 Midterms Horoscope of November 8, 2022, it seems significant that both Mars the warrior, arsonist, and/or activist, and Uranus the zealot, anarchist, and/or rebel return to their respective positions in the 2022 Midterm Election Horoscope as you see in the dual chart image, below.

Thus, the period between and including March 14 - April 3, give or take a day or so, seems to me to be of particular concern while the 6 South Eclipse is still of influence in society, so mind how you go. Yet significantly, unpredictable Uranus can act early, on time, late - or never.

Meanwhile, for historical context regarding these chaotic, even perilous, Uranian matters affecting US elections, office holders, and the populace, a previous post tells a tale of Taurus Midterm Eclipses 2022 and 1938! because similar cosmic conditions and events are shown between 2022 and 1938 when Republicans made gains in the House and the Senate by promoting their anti-FDR policies and rhetoric. Obviously, fear was a major background influence in society in 1938 and bad faith actors used it much as they do now with debates on "war" topping the political menu, and, as Rachel Maddows's revealing Ultra podcast spotlights, Nazis and their American tools were active in America.

Now as you know, on the financial level, GOP-ers continue to use similar arguments and gaslighting, with the same goal of collapsing our social safety net and heisting the money, but one can always hope that a majority of Americans now realize that the GOP expects them - not only to vote against their own best interests - but to hand control of the helm of state to an autocratic dictator pushing more of the far-reich's hateful, brutal policies and sadistic laws than we've so far seen.

Therefore, We the People must do everything possible to toss such anti-societal traitors into the dustbin of history to wallow with their cruel idols of the 1930s and 1940s.

But tell me: am I being too subtle? Because there's a theme of tragedy herein via a major cosmic signpost which must be noted: that the Lunar Eclipse of 1938 @15Taurus occurred two days prior to the Nazi bloodbath, aka, "the night of broken glass" - Kristallnacht. Are magaites and their vigilantes brewing up another storm? Well, think of the current House of Representatives and its 'maga' gun lovers lurking there as they pretend to "lead" in the legislative branch of government that they and their thugs attempted to overthrow by violent coup on January 6, 2021.

'Wild Cards' of the Universe and Cosmic Synchronicities

In light of recent and current secessionist-type events, the DC Horoscope of the April 12, 2022 Jupiter-Neptune Conjunction @23Pis58 is hereby re-published just to add the point that the day of their bubbly, speculative conjunction is also a day of the Solar Return 2022 of the Civil War which began under deceptive Mercury-Neptune influences on April 12, 1861 with the Sun @22Ari27. (Of course, explosive, warring Mars-Uranus also had a hand as on the day of Inauguration 2021.)

Of interest is the Sabian Symbol of the Sun's rounded-up degree of '23Aries' = "A Woman in Pastel Colors Carrying a Heavy And Valuable But Veiled Load"; "Keyword: RETICENCE; positive expression: the unimpeachable integrity of the man whose fullness of life becomes a practical contribution to the circumstances in which he dwells; negative (unconscious/shadow side - jc) expression: a disinclination to participate at all fairly in everyday living." Now for me, this last relates to secessionists then and now to which I'd include obstructionist congressional Republicans, those radical reactionaries who long for a regressive America in the pre-Civil Rights and pre-Voting Rights days because they assume it can soothe their bigoted world view and support their alleged "supremacy".

Now we should also add the Sabian Symbol for the Jupiter-Neptune Conjunction of April 12, 2022 @24Pisces which is notated messily in the center of the horoscope but I'll also type its potentials for you below:

'24Pisces' = An Inhabited Island"; "Keyword: CULTIVATION; positive expression: achievement through a creative opportunism or inventiveness of exceptional order; negative expression: snobbish complacency and self-indulgence" (Jones). Is this a NYC island, perhaps?

Energies of Jupiter-Neptune when combined can certainly appreciate self-indulgence between Jupiter's expansion principle and Neptune's urge to merge and become lax or slack, plus, the planetary duo suggests several other potentials, both positive and negative, such as:

'Visions, dreams, mysticism, idealism, the grand spirit, the 'Big Lie', corruption, theft, veils, disguises, pretense, loss of reality, compassion, inspiration, fraud, get-rich-quick schemes, speculation, inflation, bubbles, instability, loss, political conflicts, sabotage, vast deceptions, increased gaslighting, gain without effort, abundant feelings, expansive creativity, tricks of the eye or ear, art interests, impressionability, easy seduction, scandal via instability, the wrong diagnosis, foolish surmisings, shoddy conditions, Utopian illusions (used to break down society), neglect of ethics, confusion, senseless doctrine, hypocrisy as a form of internal policy, a degraded legal system based on favors and pay-offs, unfounded legal situations or theories, churches espousing a moral philosophy for all (rather than one based on each believer's conscience), vague excuses, overlooking the faults of others, unexplained events or miracles, worn out or inefficient forms of publicity, and/or myth-making.

April 2023 Solar Eclipse "30 Aries" = "A Duck Pond and Its Brood"

When a fixed star is conjoined by a Solar Eclipse, the star's expression is strengthened and brought into our Collective Consciousness so perhaps we should note that the repetition of a 7 North Solar Eclipse (the series that brought society the rise of Fascism in 1933 and the Civil War in the US, 1861) spotlights fixed star Mirach in the girdle of the Andromedae Contellation. The star's keyphrase, the Chained Woman, has certainly become an issue in our day via abortion rights, women's access to healthcare and birth control, religious teachings concerning what some call a "woman's place" in the home (ex: "barefoot and pregnant": a brood? a chastity belt?), physical abuse, sex trafficking, lack of access to education, even voting rights suppression, and other important social concerns between genders that are already in the news and being legislated by paternalistic authoritarians. Obviously, misogyny runs rampant and affects many of these issues so the self-pitying 'incel movement' is also involved.

Reciprocally, a fixed star-eclipse conjunction emphasizes the themes and effects of the eclipse as well for both are stronger when expressing together. This strenthened expression resonates with the ability of all eclipses to act as 'wild cards of the Universe' that can suddenly change directions of earthly events much as planet Uranus can do. Plus, you know that natural disasters may occur around the time of an eclipse with its Uranian vibrations yet thankfully, the 7N eclipse of 2023 is not a Total eclipse. Yay.

However at the moment, my main concern is Herr H's ghost that now haunts about 1/3 of America's population with hate-filled dreams of what some call, 'glory'. Thing is, rational people know that those are a dictator's dreams of power and control propelled once again by the destructive spirit that roams the Earth in search of willing, mindless robots and bullies (often young people who don't remember the severe, cruel harm inflicted during the Fascist and Nazi eras) who intend to carry forth his hatred, brutality, and abuse toward humanity. In other words, the gullible, those with low self-esteem, are infected with Herr H's vile, devilish psychosis.

Brutal 'Inspiration' from the 1930s Creeps into the 2020s

Now in those days, Pluto was trudging through Cancer, cosmic signature of the magician, while now Pluto opposes Cancer as he creeps through Capricorn, a cosmic signature of 'the dictator' (says R. Ebertin). Yet it's possible that bad faith actors in our day may very well be aware of this cosmic timing so that Pluto in Capricorn implications partially inform whatever certainty of success many of them feel, or profess to feel. But their feelings won't make it so! Besides, as most folks know, A Fascist Plot in America Has Failed Before! and will be made to fail again.

So as you see, below is the DC Horoscope of the 7 North Solar Eclipse of April 20, 2023 @29Ari50 which conjuncts the position of the Moon on Inauguration Day 2021 plus, the eclipse conjuncts fixed star Mirach (with its 'chained woman' associations), as mentioned, above.

7 North themes = 'deep passion that takes people by surprise; lust' (B. Brady) to which I'll regretfully add, 'blood lust' because of past, current, and future circumstances aggravated by the global criminal network of mobsters now larger than in 1933 and trying to take control again - domestically in the US where they perceive that wrestling democracy to the mat will negatively affect all democracies worldwide.

Now as you see, by April 2023, transit Pluto @00AQ19 conjuncts US Inaugural Sun (@00AQ51 in Jan 2021 = Joe Biden - or on another level, the fantasy president?). This transit suggests potentials for power and abuse issues, an identity change or crisis, brutal suppression, and/or confinement of some kind (R. Ebertin). So if Pluto-to-Inaugural-Sun implies another attempt at a Tr*mp coup of power-grasping between now and April 2023, may the confinement be his.

We should also note in the DC Horoscope that the initial 7 North Eclipse of October 2, 1103 @15Lib29 sits atop the 2023 Eclipse's Goal Point (= Midheaven which makes the 2023 eclipse doubly karmic) so that Venus-ruled Libra (sign of ladies, goddesses, diplomacy, relationships) is the cosmic lens through which all subsequent 7 North eclipses must be viewed so that what we have before us in 2023 is a harmony vs disharmony Venus-Mars affair and what perhaps may be unfortunately described as a chained woman:

What about President Biden completing his first term?

Biden's Nemesis, Three Significant 2021 Eclipses, and Karmic Transits

Due to his advanced age alone, it's understandable that some people have expressed concern over whether or not Joe Biden will complete his first term in office as US President especially considering his many (vicious, vengeful, power-craving) enemies of the Trumpian persuasion (or, of the neo-nazi/Aryan/fascist persuasion, if you prefer.)

This has been an astrologically-based concern of mine as well since Mr. Biden's natal Ascendant (physical body) received or was 'eclipsed' by the May 26, 2021 Lunar Eclipse @5Sagittarius, a second Lunar Eclipse @27Taurus will 'hit' his natal Scorpio Sun and Venus on November 19, 2021, the 5 New South Solar Eclipse of December 4, 2021 @12Sagittarius will manifest near his natal Ascendant - and Mr. Biden's natal asteroid Nemesis in Libra rises in the December 4th chart, along with Herr Tr*mp's natal stationary Jupiter (17Lib27).

And although I've tried to ignore such difficult potentials of the Biden presidency, the plot must thicken for as Alex Miller reveals, there are additional indicators of demise for President Biden this year via certain asteroids which Alex identifies in his Daykeeper Journal article, Bye Bye Biden? which is not full of predictions at all, but is only an explanation of possibilities reflected between Heaven and Earth.

So perhaps we can agree, dear reader, that suggested potentials in Alex's article make for tough reading with disturbing indicators quite piling up, but as I've often typed in my posts, Americans must directly face problems, difficult conditions, and challenging events if we hope to deal with them in a realistic Saturnian manner which is the only way to find true solutions of a lasting kind. And we know that in Washington DC, contingencies must always be considered and put in place.

Facing reality: despite the confusion, deception, illusion, propaganda, and gaslighting the American public is constantly being scammed by and led astray with!

As for planetary transits, there are both positive and negative ones for Mr. Biden and for us all. For one, the horoscope of President Biden's Mars Return 2021 on November 17th contains a danger signal via transit Uranus opposing his natal Mars in Scorpio, which suggests a difficult period for anyone for it may indicate unpredictable, erratic, or disruptive actions from others but may also suggest a potential for surgical procedures, and lasting up to two years. Yet we must remember that the Inauguration 2021 Horoscope showed the day's explosive Mars-Uranus Conjunction (@6Tau44) rising as Joe Biden took the Oath of Office - and on that very afternoon, a Lunar Return to his natal Taurus Moon at a degree of violence (so-called because 00-1Taurus is the degree of Herr Adolf's natal Sun) perfected with the Moon relating to the physical body in anyone's natal chart.

Overthrowing US more successful for Rutherford Hayes

September 29, 2021: Below is Thom Hartmann in a segment from his broadcast posted to YouTube yesterday (9.28.21) in which he discusses the Federalist Society's John Eastman memo (link to text, below) which laid out the Federalist-backed plan for crazed Tru*mp to seize the presidency and remain in power ad nauseum come January 20, 2021.

Thom notes similarities between the 2020 Election and the controversial election of Republican Rutherford B. Hayes who was aided in seizing the power of the presidency by 'win at any cost' enablers. If curious, you'll find a link below to a previous posting of the Hayes Inauguration Horoscope in which a cosmic time link turns up between then and now!

Because as you'll see, the Prenatal Solar Eclipse of the Hayes Inauguration fell into the 4 South Saros Series and a 4 South eclipse repeated on December 14, 2020 - the very day of the Electoral College Vote Count which, as it turned out on January 6 (7), 2021, was won by Joe Biden, a life-threatening outcome of disaster for you-know-who.

And that particular 2020 Electoral College Vote Count, as you know, led to the very vote counting and certification event in Congress that Tr*mp's 1/6 mob attack ("Stop the Steal") was intended to delay for a few hours so that, as Kraken Powell asserts, Justice Samuel Alito could allegedly intervene and, in time, insert his anti-American judgment to make Tr*mp president for life with the help of VP Pence, of course. But Mike Pence balked, as you know, when advised that his ceremonial VP-ship didn't possess the power for such power-grabbing tomfoolery.

And, similar to 1877, we should mention that the December 14, 2020 4 South Eclipse is the Prenatal Solar Eclipse ('PE') of Inauguration 2021 and would have been its PE, no matter who was inaugurated. The 4 South eclipse themes of 'strong emotions over money and relationships' with 'a desire to suddenly end relationships' (B. Brady) would have influenced events in one way or another. For example, it was Tr*mp's relationship with the White House that ended - and ours with him. But he's rather like the rubbish boyfriend who just keeps calling, isn't he? No, the mobster hasn't give up and his neo-n*zi comrades, foreign enablers, and the anti-American corporatists who fund the global authoritarian movement are regrouping their forces for their next planned onslaught against America. For as you know, the years 2022, 2023, and 2024 are naturally the key time frames for their next power-seizing attempts prior to Inauguration 2025 (horoscope shown - assuming there is an inauguration).

Sunday August 8, 2021: As of this writing, malicious Tr*mp remains on the political scene in the US, seemingly on the verge of legal come-uppance. Meanwhile, the Autumn 2021 season approaches, aka, the Libra Ingress, this year with the public signified by a Mars-ruled Aries Moon which tends toward rashness and emotional volatility, but can also suggest activism.

Below is a DC Horoscope of the moment the Sun reaches 00Lib00:00 on September 22, 2021 (3:20:55 pm est) with Sun and Mars in the corporate 8th house when the chart is set for Washington DC. Obviously, other 8th house matters are also on the agenda such as shared resources, debt, credit, insurance, death, the occult, and Big Business. Opposite in the 2nd house of the National Treasury, an unaspected Neptune @21Pis33 Rx continues its deceptive, illusory, fraudulent, disappointing, and contagious influences. Political benefits aside, Neptunian compassion for those damaged financially via Covid may also be indicated by a 2nd house Neptune in Pisces and, of course, we know monetary relief bwo President Biden's agenda continues at least through December 2021 for those of us with children, thus lifting the country partially out of the trough of poverty that austere political measures have purposefully plopped us into for decades. Too often Washington politics has meant massive amounts of money for war and weaponry but little or none for the needs of children.

Ascendant in Capricorn: Sign of Government, Law, Business, and Investment

And so, with chart-ruler Saturn (1st house) retrograde ('Rx'), delays in various matters are to be expected such as legislative proposals (Saturn = laws). Naturally, the cosmic course of expansive Jupiter, also Rx, is a key determinant both financially and politically but as we've previously discussed, Jupiter turns Direct on October 18, 2021 @22AQ19:45 - within the 2nd house of this Equinox chart - but won't pass his Shadow Degree of 2Pis11 (where the Great Benefic turned Rx on June 20, 2021) until the second week of January 2022. Therefore, October 2021 offers some improvement in social conditions but January 2022 offers more forward movement in Jupiterian matters.

Beneficial Aspects of Selena 2021 into 2022: Capricornian Goals

White Moon Selena, the path-lighter, trines Uranus on October 19, 2021 (just after Jupiter turns Direct) suggesting potentials for a beneficial change of direction to better aim at goals, protection of a large group of people, and/or a larger number of people joining a cause. Then on December 7, 2021, transiting Selena sextiles Neptune so compassion and empathy may only increase through most of December in time for the 2021 holiday season and providing everyone with plenty of opportunities for sharing or receiving charitable aid. All this, in time for the Solar Return of the Biden administration on January 20, 2022 when Selena conjuncts powerful, wealthy Pluto @26Capricorn conjunct the Midheaven of the 2021 Inauguration Horoscope! Hopefully, intensified benefits of Selena will be fully visible ('MC' = the Goal Point) to and for the American public with Selena lighting the path toward our goals!

Yet realistically, we must also remember the volatile, subversive Mars-Uranus Conjunction (6Tau44) which perfected on Inauguration Day 2021 for it lurks at the base ('IC') of the Autumn Equinox 2021 Horoscope, as you can see, and suggests (opposing the MC) that violent or drastic measures may be taken in opposition to the goals of President Biden. As with the Snake Charmer (see details below), caution must be advised, as our government agencies already know. May they be much better prepared than they were on January 6, 2021.

Meanwhile, speaking of goals, any autumnal ingress horoscope concerns solar vitality and working toward solar goals and objectives (shown here at least until the Winter Solstice 2021 Horoscope 'takes over') and the Sun-Mars Conjunction suggests ambitious, energetic leadership especially in 8th house affairs.

However, we know that undermining forces (ex: Mars-Uranus) are working through and with the Republican Party, a Neptune-infused entity (its 1854 founding Neptune in mid-Pisces) in order to deny the Biden administration any or all achievements that it can, in spite of the damage Republican efforts (or the lack of them) do to harm democracy, America, the American people - and our children. "Own the libs" as Republicans hatefully remind themselves, no matter the dire consequences, and so they underhandedly scheme toward the regrasping of power as if their imagined justification is genuine or even popular with the majority.

And if we add such sinister machinations of the neofascist kind to the generational influences of transit Neptune opposing US natal Neptune in Virgo - across the victim-savior axis of Virgo-Pisces which is karmically intercepted in the chart as you see along with planet Neptune Rx - we have a period of major conflicts between ideals (ex: democracy vs fascism), plus, persecution in Civil Rights and racial areas of society (used as 'wedge' social issues meant to harm opponents for political gain). Note that an unaspected Neptune denotes those who keep their ideals and fantasies private or secret from the rest of society although the draconian, authoritarian ideals of the GOP are now obvious for all to see who choose to see and who will hopefully take action on behalf of protecting democracy. However, this unaspected Neptune is apex of a midpoint picture (penned on the chart) which describes bad social conditions and potentials for loss through speculation and/or wastefulness (R. Ebertin).

'Live-Wire' Air-Fire Sun Libra-Moon Aries Potentials

Meanwhile, the public's Moon @21Ari07 conjuncts US natal Chiron (at "21Aries" = "A Pugilist Enters the Ring") so we have an Air-Fire blend of exciting ideas informed by Venus-Mars and primarily suggesting relationship and diplomatic issues with compromise the key to success. This provides the season with a Sun Libra-Moon Aries combo of restless, willful energies and a crusading temperament with a leaning toward optimism and cooperation - but which can be "thrown off" by criticism and/or emotional conflict (politics!).

Still, a talent for diplomacy and innate courage can win folks over to the project at hand, plus, a desire for justice is a prominent feature of this combination of conscious (Sun) and unconscious (Moon) energies. These potentials hold true through the Autumn season of 2021 so here's hoping the US Justice System will do the job that the majority of Americans are expecting by holding our infestation of criminals accountable. Yes, I know that Politics attracts the underbelly of society, the crooks and swindlers, but the overgrowth simply cannot continue as-is and must be dealt with. Visible in this chart? Maybe it's the karmic interception of Virgo-Pisces and fraudulent Neptune across the 2/8 axi$, showing societal problems that must be dealt with, as most anyone reading this post would agree.

Now of interest to some is one small chart factor: asteroid Hopi (keywords: ambush; prejudice) @26Leo46 for it precisely conjoins Tr*mp's natal Mars (26:46) rising and as you see in the chart, Hopi conjuncts the 8th cusp. Neglect Hopi's influence and the prevaricating blighter still requires close scrutiny yet this cosmic synchronicity is simply a small indication that such caution is necessary (like keeping an eye on a cornered snake). Plus, Hopi always reminds me of Ras Alhague, the Sapphire Star, as previously discussed, because Ras Alhague conjoins the natal Moon and South Node of Tr*mp @22Sagittarus (fear of poisoning, dog bites, prone to infections including epidemics). This star is the snake charmer (who uses mind control - you know he does) and you also know that Tr*mp has often repeated the creepy song lyrics about how, You da** well knew I was a snake before you took me in - as part of his 2016+ anti-immigration rants. Plus, some link Ras Alhague with healing and with sun god Apollo (which @29Leo45 rises in Tr*mp's natal chart - hence his spray tans, preference for Florida sunshine, and 'godlike' behavior - with input from opportunistic evangelicals telling him he's 'the chosen one'). Actually this stuff resonates well with Tr*mp's natal Mars in proud Leo opposing US natal Moon in Aquarius - We The People are a direct target of his aggression. Can you tell?

And how curious is it that in China, Ras Alhague has been known as The Astrologer? Why Donald! You and your Scottish mama (Moon) and/or certain ancestors (SN) practice or use the venerable craft? This cosmic link could reveal Astrology as a talent he falls back on (SN) to aid his present activities, something I've long suspected. Either that, or it suggests an unsurprising dependence upon the services of an astrologer.

US Solar Return 2021: YODs plus Karmic Progress

America July 2021 to July 2022: Career, Reputation, Illness, Home Care

February 25, 2021: Based on a 5:09 pm LMT Philadelphia, PA horoscope, on July 4, 2021, the Sun returns to its position on July 4, 1776 @13Can19. Obviously, various founding horoscopes will give different results but this data is what I'm using for this particular Solar Return 2021 post. And as you see, using the MC (Midheaven = Career, Public Reputation, and/or Goal Point) allows two YOD patterns (dotted lines) to emerge for the year suggesting potentials for crises (which we already know we're in), turning points (or crossroads), and/or karmic opportunities for making evolutionary progress (or not, if solar energies are mishandled).

We should also consider that YODS can denote health issues but for the purposes of this post, let's allow 'home care' and 'nurturing' concerns to represent the balance of such potentials as the pandemic and vaccinations proceed.

Note: For background influences of the titanic conflicts between Saturn and Uranus this year, check out Mary Plumb's TMA article on the earlier Saturn and Uranus squares which includes links to other astrologers' posts. The last exact square perfects on December 23, 2021, and as you know, these squares issue from the 45-year Saturn-Uranus Cycle which began with their three conjunctions in late Sagittarius all through 1988 (along with Saturn Conjunct bubbly Neptune 3 times in 1989; 1988/89: major, sharp financial shifts). And now, with the squares, everyone is feeling their old order vs new order vibes while 'overcoming perilous conditions' is required and Democrats try to push through their Covid Relief Bill against Republican obstructionism. Do you see the GOP represented by restrictive Saturn blocking the progress proposed by Uranus via the Democrats? Then we agree.

So for karmic progress on political, societal, and economic levels, it seems time for society to 'get over' the debilitating 'trickle down' economic policies of Ronald Reagan and his greedy ilk, so that America can advance by actually solving the societal problems of We the People. And I think the US Solar Return 2021 Horoscope with its YODs and 'karmic opportunities for progress' agrees.

Because when a YOD points toward the Sun (leadership) as apex planet, the pressure is on to alter the way power and authority are utilized so that abuse of power is avoided. Ego-deflation may occur due to the quincunxes to the Sun (ego) yet if solar energies are properly channeled after years of preparation, one's full attention and inner strength will inform actions with the YOD/s acting as timing devices for the year described in the US Solar Return 2021 Horoscope. Additionally, with powerful Pluto leading a Locomotive shape in the SR 2021 chart, a certain measure of ruthless determination will be necessary as our Ship of State chugs toward success. After all, the 'former guy' plans to continue his retaliation against Democrats, and, I would suggest, against the American people - see US natal Moon rising in the horoscope still (as always) opposed by Tr*mp's natal Mars in royal Leo!

(Note: in the US Powell Horoscope of July 1, 1776, there are no YOD patterns in the US SR 2021 chart that I can find.)

Now one erratic factor in the chart that may or may not be worrying is that SR 2021 Uranus @13Tau56 conjuncts Inauguration Ascendant 2021 which can indicate disruption, sudden reforms, upsets, unexpected events, and/or a change of leadership with major new start potential which may echo the YOD's 'turning point' implication. However, it's possible that Uranus-to-ASC simply suggests coping ability.

And considering the difficult issues facing my fellow Americans, plus, the fact that We The People need a major break from disruption and upsets (although reforms are needed), I'll be hoping for coping ability supported by the insightful, visionary solutions inspired by the 5 North Solar Eclipse in versatile Gemini, North Node conjunct IC and Aldebaran ('success through integrity'), thinking/planning Mercury the Messenger nearby in its own sign and conjunct starry Capella, Phact, and Bellatrix, plus, Cupido, asteroid of Corporatism, The Syndicate, and The Family.

January 20, 2021: Biden Oath of Office with New Moon at Midheaven

January 20, 2021: Since I'm trying to take in all the ceremony and celebration of today's Inauguration of Joseph R. Biden, Jr, not many notes today but the following is a bi-wheel of the January 13, 2021 New Moon @23Cap13 (center) and the time (1:48--1:49 pm) that the Presidential Oath of Office was taken on the West side of the US Capitol Building, so recently breached and overrun by the 'Trump Mob'.

As the 'Syzygy Moon' of Inauguration 2021 (last lunation prior), the January 13th New Moon is significant and predictive, and turns up (as the Cosmos would have it!) conjunct The Goal Point of the Biden Oath-Swearing Horoscope (outer) - along with powerful, transformative, regenerative Pluto. (See center of the bi-wheel for Sun-Moon = Pluto.)

As you see, lower left, the rounded-up degree of Mercury in Aquarius, planet of oaths, vows, oration, ballots, voters, and such, has an interesting Sabian Symbol - "19AQ": "A Forest Fire Quenched."

In both cases, Venus is chart-ruler (Libra rising and Taurus rising) and makes only one applying aspect in the New Moon chart, a trine to Uranus which suggests the longed-for potential that 'justice and equality can flourish' (1A00). Right away President Biden signed Executive Orders meant to improve our situation and I'm sure we'll hear more them about later on.

Yet in today's horoscope, chart-ruler Venus is unaspected which to me suggests the isolated conditions associated with the US presidency and perhaps our discarded-for-the-last-four-years tradition created most strongly by President Truman's insistence that "the buck stops here," a shout-out to presidential responsibility and accountability which a majority of Americans - and probaby the rest of the globe - pray has returned to Washington DC.

January 14, 2021: With difficult days of potential violence and turmoil continuing in the US (as if justified by the Inauguration of President Joe Biden on January 20th) some readers may be interested in viewing a horoscope of the moment that certain subversive energies peak with transit Neptune square the Nodal Axis. For the purposes of this post, I'll refer to the Nodal Axis as 'NN' but I'm thinking 'Nodal Axis' which currently is under the rays of the Gemini-Sagittarian polarity with its Mercury-Jupiter influences. The Mercury-Jupiter pairing relates to sound common sense but negatively to failures through dishonesty, fraud, and negligence (Ebertin).

Implications and potentials of the subversive Neptune-NN pairing include: 'anti-social behavior/elements; lack of community spirit; strange conduct in communal life; unreliability; exploitation; deceit; cheating' (Ebertin's The Combination of Stellar Influences #ad). Obviously surreptious Neptune's mass propaganda is involved with the Nodal Axis denoting public contacts. Plus, 'breakdowns in relationships' can also occur under such deceptive influences (Tyl) usually due to falsehoods and/or misunderstandings.

Now here is the Neptune-NN duo in Politics and Business as detailed by Michael Munkasey (my italics):

"Thesis: A leadership unwilling or unable to consider the demands of its people; ideals or national glamor as an excuse for neglecting the growth and progress demands of the population or important groups.

Please note that transit Pluto in Capricorn's destructuring of societal systems, Ebertin's description of the placement as 'the dictator', and the planet's famous tendency toward hidden manipulation, surveillance, and death, plus, the current involvement in the US government of Neptune-Pluto's criminal underworld/syndicate activities are factors beyond the scope of this particular post but have been discussed in previous posts - type a word or phrase into the sidebar Search field and you'll see!

Once the square's energies peak, its frustrating, nihilistic influences will begin to gradually wane in society (Neptune of the masses and mass media!) - but perhaps only to a dull roar since its vibrations imprint upon the Biden administration. DC Horoscopes: Trump Mob Breaches Capitol Building

January 6, 2021: Today violence occurred in Washington DC. A woman shot earlier during the breach has died, WaPo reports, and others are injured. The stirred up Trump Mob of malcontents stormed and breached the US Capitol Building this afternoon while Congress had begun certifying the Electoral College votes for Joe Biden. Few astro-notes will be added tonight (it's after 6:00 pm est and I'm pretty wumped out at the moment) other than what I've marked on the bi-wheel charts you see below.

The chaos occurred after sore loser Trump spoke earlier at a 'rally' in the Federal City, exhibiting his usual 'low and mean way of acting' in the midst of his malicious scheme to stay in power. Meanwhile, the combustible Mars-Uranus duo draws nearer to conjunction each day and will peak @6Tau44 on Inauguration Day 2021. DC police officers and the National Guard were somewhat slow to begin defending the Capitol Building today and one must wonder why. Well, some members of the political punditry class have suggested that a desperate Trump wants - called for - such upheaval so that he can declare martial law.

January 6, 2021 US Congress: Strong Emotions Surface

January 3, 2021: Besides facing the combustible Mars-Uranus Conjunction @6Tau44 on Inauguration Day 2021 and the ongoing sabotage of America by fascist forces and their figurehead Trump, we first must successfully navigate through potential riots, protests, and the seditious behavior threatened in the US Congress on January 6, 2021 by certain congressional Republicans determined to disrupt America's tradition of a peaceful transfer of power, undermine the Biden administration, and, they hope, prevent Trump from tweeting against them and ruining their next election chances. However, on that date the Electoral College Vote is to be certified by the Congress doing its duty.

Of course, this purposefully stirred up 'hail Mary' political drama by Trump and comrades is meant to take over the US government entirely and morph it into a fascist enterprise. And it's all being piled atop our ongoing fight against the SARS-Covid pandemic now decimating the American people and straining our hospital system to its core, plus, our dire economic and cyber conditions. Yes, Trump and his ilk are attacking the country while America is weakened by disease and loss. And a misguided 1/3 of the population likes it!

Now naturally these weighty 2020-into-2021 issues and events are described ably by multiple cosmic factors, some of which have been discussed here on Stars Over Washington and available for those who care to search (sidebar Search field, or just Google). But if I had to name one cosmic factor which basically accounts for many of the stirred up feelings - 'the strong emotions over money and relatonships', it has to be the background influences of the 4 South Solar Eclipse in which we now simmer (that is, until the next Solar Eclipse comes along in June 2021).

Occurring on December 14, 2020 @23Sag08 (the day the Electoral College voted against Trump - see what I mean?), the 4 South Eclipse contains difficult themes that are now expressing in society and what could be one of the peaks of such difficulties manifests in the US Congress, Capitol Hill, January 6, 2021.

And yet there is one promising potential in particular from the 4 South Eclipse @23Sag08 - it 'eclipsed' the 8th house Saturn in authoritarian Trump's Inauguration 2017 Horoscope!

Besides karmic Saturn's rulership of authority, accountability, control, and separation, for me this describes another of the 4 South influences: a 'sudden desire to end a relationship'. For if We The People ever wanted to end a relationship asap, it has to be the one between the Oval Office and saboteur Trump whose presidential term ends at noon on January 20, 2021 as Joe Biden takes the Oath of Office.

DC Horoscope: Barack Obama's Jupiter Return to DC

December 2020 Brings a Very Interesting Jupiter Return and Judicial Possibilities for Barack Obama

Little did yours truly expect she would ever again be publishing the natal horoscope of former President Barack Obama but here you see an image of it (lower left) in dual chart formation along with his December 23, 2020 Jupiter Return (upper right):

Jupiter in Aquarius: a sense of social justice, humanitarianism, good fellowship, knowledge of human nature, democratic ethical values, distrust of Chauvinistic nationalism, respect for karmic law, indecisiveness (Ebertin; Sakoian-Acker.)

Now I don't have to tell you, dear reader, how a Joe Biden presidency 'brings along' Barack Obama in many ways and on multiple levels. With former VP Biden as former President Obama's mentor (his natal Chiron in Pisces requires mentoring for best results), it now seems to be Mr. Obama's turn to mentor President Joseph Biden! And actually, there are multiple indications in his 2020 Jupiter Return chart which I shall list, below, of the potential for an official position in the Biden administration for Barack Obama so I may as well divulge such a possibility: Attorney General. Well, I wouldn't complain, would you?

Of course, there are other possibilities ahead including unofficial advisor/mentor so naturally only time can tell. And note that a 'shadow presidency' could also be suggested especially since Mr. Obama's natal Jupiter @00AQ51 will be exactly highlighted by degree and minute at noon on Inauguration Day 2021 by the 2021 Inaugural Sun (POTUS/Oath of Office) - @00AQ51! The cosmic synchronicity can hardly be more plain. Transit Sun to natal Jupiter suggests courage and confidence, plus, the involvement of the judicial system, one of the aforementioned Attorney General potentials (or even a SCOTUS Justice nomination?) Of course, this beneficial transit was also in effect for both of Obama's own Inaugurations, and the majority of the American people (and the world!) in spite of problems, were much happier then.

Other planetary contacts are involved of course, but here are three more 'official position' factors, judicial or otherwise, that I've so far spied in Barack Obama's 2020 Jupiter Return Horoscope ('good' until his next Return in 2032) though of course you may notice others, and I hope you will!

Transit Pluto conjunct natal Saturn: work and lifestyle are completely altered; attitude adjustment required in order to accept responsibilities; abuse of authority must be confronted and corrected.

Jupiter-Uranus = Neptune: favorable prospects after loss of position; new ideas to make the world a better place. (Yes, please!)

Pluto-ASC = Sun: determination to end forms of injustice and replace harmful practices; authority which is aware (Tyl; Ebertin; Munkasey).

Now perhaps it's true that these planetary factors won't be enough to spur judicial or official involvement in the Biden administration for Mr. Obama but as previously noted, only time can tell!

Trump Nodal Return 2020 IDs secret meeting with Special Forces

No Alarm, Merely a Forewarning that's Hopefully Unnecessary

Most everyone is anxious about Inauguration Day 2021. Well, as it turns out, on the very day of his Nodal Return, October 29, 2020, Trump met behind the scenes with US Special Forces at Fort Bragg, NC, the men who killed Islamic leader Abu Bakr al-Baghdadi a year or so ago. During their meeting that was conducted "outside the view of the press corp traveling with him," Trump presented the troops with a Presidential Unit Citation, an honor formerly known as a Distinguished Unit Citation. For conspiracy theorists the fancy word play (as if to put Trump's personal stamp on the award and "claim" the troops as his own whether all of them like it or not), plus, Trump's (North Node conjunct North Node in duplicitous Gemini) secret meeting with Special Forces, seems to be part of a potential Inauguration Day 2021 Mars-Uranus Conjunction plan for anarchy since we know that Trump will do anything to hold onto to power and thus avoid (or postpone!) his fate.

Yes, it goes against the grain yet I'm reluctantly suggesting here the possibility of a Trump scheme to use military intervention by what some might call 'rogue' units to be put in service to a cult leader instead of honoring their oaths to the US Constitution. Trump's ongoing legal challenges to his election loss could be serving as a distraction campaign for such military muscling up behind the scenes. For when a politician says, 'look here', we must be sure to look elsewhere.

Astrologically, such interventionist energies peak on January 20, 2021 (noon chart shown) when the Mar-Uranus Conjunction @6Tau44 perfects at 3:38 pm est - quite near Joe Biden's natal Moon (@00Tau59, in n 5th house). And as you know, earlier at noon that day, the combustible, activist pair rises over Capitol Hill in 12th house: behind the scenes; Politics; US Congress. Yet hopefully, all these considerations are too fantastical for practical implementation and too non-traditional to be feasible. After all, President-Elect Biden has the option to use US military troops for various purposes, too.

Meanwhile, here's something I wrote on Trump's above linked Nodal Return Horoscope of October 29th which apparently relates to this difficult topic. It involves the fact that transiting Neptune (fraudster, speculator, grand schemer, liar, erosion, the media) in secretive, shady Pisces, has been squaring Trump's Nodal Axis which creates potentials for: subversives who undermine traditional religious and social standards and principles (ex: the peaceful transition of power that We The People must rely on); sabotage of social institutions, and/or terrorists with villainous purposes (Munkasey).

By now you're familiar with the controversial, contentious Election of 1876 so let's not belabor its points except to observe that the 2020 Election is proving to be full of controversy and contentiousness as well. Why, it's almost as if history is doing that rhyming thing it very often does. Similar conditions, past and present, suggest that there may be cosmic time links between the two elections: November 7, 1876 and November 3, 2020, plus, between Inauguration 1877 (private oath of office taken in the White House Red Room on March 3, 1877, public oath taken Monday March 5, 1877) and Inauguration 2021 (January 20th).

Then for history rhyming in 2020/2021 and echoing from way back in 1876/1877, we should consider that the contentious 1876 Election (with Sun Scorpio-Moon Leo), well-known for its turbulence, was finally resolved by congressional committee in favor of Republican Mr. Hayes - a committee was formed because of strong accusations against the Electoral College electors - of fraud.

Hints that the US Congress may get involved with the 2020 Election - well, I know you've heard of the possibility and how this might play out and if so, that's one echo from the Hayes era right there.

Plus, social turbulence we already have and few people expect a quick result on Election Night 2020 although who can say at this point? Numbers 'too big to rig' at voting booths across the land could speed up outcomes and yet we know, or perhaps only sense, that election shenanigans, even fraud, may have occurred, and that, with our country's future on the line. Voter suppression tactics by the GOP have been a contentious discussion topic for years, gerrymandering is, or should be, a scandal, interference by foreign actors is nothing new, slowing down mail delivery, and a variety of other tricks must be navigated just to cast our votes. Plus, a deadly virus to make voting risky for life and limb.

Now as you know, the 1877 Oath/s of Office had to be taken under tight security which suggests threats of violence against Mr. Hayes. And with the explosive, violent Mars-Uranus Conjunction of January 20, 2021, yet another potential cosmic time link with 1877 could be argued.

Still, I shall hope for an undisturbed Inauguration 2021 based on clear election results, if not right away, then perhaps by the time voting planet Mercury (turning Direct on November 3rd at 12:49 pm ET) reaches its shadow degree on November 19th and moves speedily forward through the rest of fairness-loving Libra into Scorpio, the sign of regeneration.

Jupiter-Pluto Energies Combine as November Nears and 2021 Looms Ahead

This past April we discussed the November 12, 2020 Jupiter-Pluto Conjunction and considered its DC Horoscope reposted here:

Today let's add a few additional notes concerning Jupiter-Pluto indications in the Trump era with our focus on America using Washington DC as a symbolic representation of our nation. Few links to previous posts on related topics are included in this post so if a particular topic interests you, please type it into the sidebar Search widget by scrolling down a bit and see if a selection pops up.

So basically, the duo of Jupiter (increase; expansion; growth) and Pluto (power; wealth; manipulation) represent power-craving plutocrats and Plutocracy and most everyone knows that Trump is a plutocrat acting for his own profit and on behalf of wealthy donors and billionaires. Exploitation of the weaker is their 'claim to fame' by employing whatever means necessary with emphasis on manipulating the levers of power - financial, legal, political. In previous SO'W posts I have also related Jupiter-Pluto to the Fed and perhaps you'll agree that the US Federal Reserve System, our 'central bank', works for and with the global syndicate of international banking houses - and specifically with the House of Rothchild leading the pack of wolves and foxes from their lairs in Europe and the City of London. Their network of links and associations (many by marriage--keeping power and control within The Family) is what makes a global financial collapse totally possible!

Then with the installation in the White House of foxy Trump controlling the levers of the US financial system, we can see that The Family of banking houses has joined forces (if they weren't already joined!) with at least one global organized crime syndicate, namely, with mobsters and outlaws wielding political power and influence in the US - in league with Klanish thugs and zealots of the white supremacy/alt-right persuasion. And for strong-arming those who disagree with an authoritarian America as the 'new order', Trump's enforcers use and threaten to use one of Plutocracy's favorite tools: primal violence. The explosive Mars-Uranus Conjunction, exact on Inauguration Day 2021, suggests this.

The Jupiter-Pluto Cycle: Approximately 13 Years

Now as you know, all planetary conjunctions time a new beginning of their cycle and for Jupiter-Pluto, Year 2020 has in stages marked the completion of their previous cycle which began on December 11, 2007 @28Sag24. By degree, their conjunction created a cosmic time link with the current Saturn-Uranus Cycle for its three conjunctions in 1988 perfected in the degree range of 27-30 Sagittarius. Perahps we should note a couple of things: that the upcoming Saturn-Uranus square with Saturn in Aquarius and Uranus in Taurus identifies a period of extreme resistance to authority--Fixed energies are rigid and stubborn; and, that on a basic level, the combination of Saturn and Uranus has to do with the overthrow of an 'old order' and the establishment of 'the new' which is also an underlying theme of the Jupiter-Saturn Conjunction coming at Winter Solstice 2020 (see a link to its midpoint potentials, below).

And so as noted, in 2020 Jupiter and Pluto conjunctions perfect three times: April 4, June 20, and the November 12, 2020 Conjunction you see in the chart, above. If we take the cycle's 13 years and divide by 3, we get approximately 4 years and about 4 months for each of the three horoscopes to represent (and leading up to their next conjunction on February 5, 2033 @14AQ50). Or, we can count all three conjunctions in 2020 as a process with a combination or variety of Jupiter-Pluto implications over the next 13 years, their influences alternating in strength. So the three conjunction horoscopes can be read in a variety of ways. How about another: Chart 1. problems present; Chart 2. denial and delay (Rx stage); Chart 3. solutions are found.

Of course, with the US Congress paralyzed by Republican Mitch "grim reaper" McConnell, implementation of pro-99% solutions is another matter best left to a president of the Democratic persuasion - so please Vote so we can get one!

117th Congress scheduled to open January 3, 2021

Speculative Astro-Notes Concerning the 117th Congress of 2021

September 8, 2020: If all goes according to plan, the 117th Congress will open on January 3, 2021, and unless Election 2020 in November results in leadership changes, Mike Pence will continue as President of the Congress.

Now I won't write much about the speculative January 3, 2021 chart set for Capitol Hill Washington DC and "noon EST" (in lieu of an announced hour - even the date could change), but below are a few general observations concerning the day's planets, plus, here's a view of the horoscope of the 117th Congress' Prenatal Solar Eclipse ('PE') for which we do not need a correct opening hour in order to ascertain the opening's 'PE' for as long as the 117th Congress opens in January 2021, its 4 South PE remains the case with a 'fated' theme intact - plus, it's also the PE of Inauguration 2021:

117th Congress: January 3, 2021 noon est Capitol Hill shows 19Aries04 rising, the exaltation of the Sun degree. Naturally, the Sun (leadership) @13Cap32 conjuncts the noon Midheaven ('MC') while opposing US natal Sun (July 4, 1776) suggesting a period when government goals and objectives should be reassessed and, if necessary, a change of direction may be taken. This is due to the fact that annually, January 3rd (or 4th) is the Executive Branch's "un-birthday." So with Mars-ruled Aries rising, Mars is chart-ruler (@28Ari32 and rising in 1st house) and makes three applying Ptolemaic aspects in the chart: 1. square Saturn (@1AQ56 in career 10th house conjunct bold Altair the eagle) causing difficulties, delays, stalling, lack of preparation or planning, frustration, challenges to authority, and with a potential for anger; 2. square Jupiter (@3AQ24 in 10th house) suggesting overreach, exaggeration, risk-taking, empty gestures, and/or sloppiness with details; 3. conjunct Uranus Rx (@6Tau46 in 1st house) which indicates unusual or nontraditional actions and circumstances along with an explosive and/or shocking quality. First house denotes early expression of these restless energies with society's current anarchistic, protesting, even rioting activities also indicated--for discussion or possibly legislation in Congress, if not actual physical expression. Unexpected events may occur!

The Mars-Uranus Conjunction becomes exact on January 20, 2021 @6Tau44 and rises in the Inauguration 2021 Horoscope, as you know. And obviously whenever Mars and Uranus combine their highly charged energies, violent measures may be taken, risky or dangerous behavior can complicate issues and bring unfortunate consequences, and/or accidents may occur. For more dangerous indications, add to this the fact that the transiting Uranus-Pluto midpoint not only opposes their Great Conjunction degrees of 1965/66 (mid-Pisces) and stimulating street clashes, Civil Rights demands, and upheaval as before, but Uranus-Pluto also conjuncts the destructive January 3, 2021 Mars-Saturn midpoint (aka, the 'death axis'--Ebertin). "Not a pretty picture" hardly describes the mundane possibilities of this pile-up especially considering the vicious form of politics and vengeance being practiced.

So however the Inauguration 2021 ceremony goes, We The People can expect the unexpected with a desperate Uranian chaos-creator Trump involved and what for him will be a major test of nerves and strength.

Closely Related is the First Lunation of 2021 - a New Moon @23Cap13 of January 13th which falls in the middle of the 117th Congress' Mercury-Pluto Conjunction (22-25Cap), and as we know, is within the overly stimulated "Capricorn corridor", super-sensitized ever since January 12, 2020 when karmic Saturn and Pluto conjoined @22Cap46 - conjunct Trump's natal Vertex (22:51) of fated encounters. (Actually, January 3 2021 is almost a Mercury Return to the Saturn-Pluto Conjunction Horoscope's Mercury - exact January 4th at 4:07 am est with an exact Moon-Neptune opposition hinting at scandals, illusions, and a deceptive environment); meanwhile, Venu$ @23Cap48 activates the Capricorn New Moon linked, above! So apparently, new activities are being seeded and planned in the realms of Mercury-Pluto and finances, and at some point we'll be able to blame or credit the 117th Congress for the consequences.

Now several potentials are indicated for the combination of Mercury and Pluto such as 'political talk that offers abrupt changes to some functions; high security and intelligence activities; communications satellites; news of space exploration, orbital weapons, or toxic gases'.

Other possibilities include: 'secrets involving business or transportation systems; hidden activities; self-destructive impulses in business; and/or breakdowns in road networks (and one wonders: in cyber networks? hacks and leaks? grid or voting machine attacks?). 'Paranoia about secrets', plus, 'ruthless investigations' are also suggested (Munkasey) along with 'propaganda, persuasion, the power of suggestion, overzealousness, sly cunning, sharp criticism, a famous orator, plagiarism, demagoguery, fraudsters, and/or diplomacy (Ebertin). I'll add, malicious scheming, plus, the fact that Mercury is out-of-bounds ('OOBs') so there's no telling what he or she is up to - or what outrageous things may be said, reported, or what may be stolen. Then as always, running in the background is America's natal Mercury-Pluto opposition of total awareness, surveillance/spying, confidential information, mind control, censorship and publishing which affects all such matters in a challenging way. But all results must depend upon which political party comes out victorious in House, Senate, and White House, and that's a secret even the Universe is keeping close to her vest.

First Lunation of 2021: a Capricorn New Moon

August 28, 2020: As you've noticed by now, the first lunation which imprints upon Year 2021 is a New Moon in Capricorn on January 13, 2021 (23Cap13, 4th house), a time for seeding new plans. Of course, Saturn-ruled Capricorn is the sign of government, law, business, investment, strategy, and ambition so these realms are involved. This New Moon's fulfillment/culmination phase is the Full Moon @9Leo06 on January 28, 2021, perhaps a less dreary affair. And as you know, a significant political-governmental event, Inauguration 2021, falls within the two lunations which naturally ups the lunations' importance to society and imprints their soli-lunar energies, not just on the year, but on the entire four years of a new or a rebooted administration.

So here is the Capricorn New Moon's DC Horoscope and you'll find a few notes on this chart's midpoint pix (pictures) listed, below:

New Moon January 13, 2020 12:00:02 am est Washington DC; Rising is 16Libra49 making Venus the chart-ruler; Venus (5Cap42, 3rd house) makes only one applying aspect in this chart, a trine with tech savvy Uranus (6Tau43 Rx, 7th house) - see lower left for potentials of this trine with both planets in practical Earth signs, and money possibly involved. Rising as well is US natal Saturn, exalted in Libra, plus, Trump's natal Neptune-Chiron-Jupiter trio of fraud and speculation so ongoing lawsuits may be indicated. Yes, it's true that many of these potentials are ugly as dirt and we're already dealing now with several of them or some version of them. But you know that forewarned is forearmed so as we careen toward a New Year, it seems a good idea to me to line up all the ducks we can and ready them for action in January 2021 and beyond.

From July 20, 2020: Well, the current Uranus-Pluto midpoint in mid-Pisces continues to oppose and activate the Great Conjunction/s of Uranus and Pluto of the mid-1960s Civil Rights era (conjunct in mid-Virgo) as demonstrated in the streets of Portland, Oregon - with Trump's combative 'secret police' possibly being dispatched to other US cities (that have Democratic mayors) if they displease the scofflaw-in-chief and don't fall in line with his authoritarian imperatives.

Concerning this very topic, here Aaron Mesh joins Thom Hartmann for a discussion of Trump's secret police and sneaky renditions including an overview of what's being perpetrated since Trump issued his June 26th Executive Order (with malevolent Mars 'the warrior' conjunct murderous star, Scheat @29Pisces, and Virgo-Pisces as the victim-savior polarity):

Below are a few astro-notes concerning political potentials of the erratic, incendiary pair of dogmatism, Mars and Uranus which will conjunct in intolerant, greedy Taurus in January 2021 and thus will imprint upon Inauguration 2021 and on the entire year of 2021. To me their combined energies seem part of a well-discussed Trump plan to retain control of the US government no matter how many heads must be concussed into submission - or worse:

"Using security forces to control strife; malice or unrest accompanied by violence; radical movements within the military; sudden attacks or outbreaks of hostility; rebellions against modernization efforts" (Midpoints: Unleashing the Power of the Planets, Michael Munkasey).

But prior to that, we should be aware of an approaching Mars-Pluto square in August 2020 (Aries/Capricorn) which in general suggests potentials for abusive actions, aggression, powerful conflicts, foolishly reckless behavior, domestic and/or work-related antagonism, stress-fueled rage, use or misuse of overwhelming force, and/or trouble with authority. This planetary pairing can also describe a police state, plus, war/s and chaos. You know - the societal conditions and events that Trump was installed to stir up and mismanage.

Meanwhile, transit Pluto, creeping along on his darkened mission to fulfill our US Pluto Return/s in 2022, continues to conjoin off and on the natal Vertex (22Cap51) of Donald Trump with its 'fated encounters and/or wish fulfillment' possibilities.

However, it's completely understandable if you, dear reader, prefer to forget all of this cosmic vs earthly turmoil. But I just thought you might want to know about some of the intense energies clashing over our heads as We The Collective struggle toward 2021.
