By now the world knows that Donald Tr*mp has coup'd the White House and will be inaugurated into office (his hand on the Bible? How so? Will it be held upside down?) via the Presidential Oath to protect and defend the US Constitution, the freedom document he plans to toss in a trash bin, our civil rights with it. Only czarish oaths to his nibs will have any meaning for Mr. Tr*mp and for VP Vance who will follow him - Vance, put in position by billionaire Peter Thiel. Members of the billionire class have invested a lot of bucks and have big plans for Mr. Vance.

To astrologers not enthralled to the harsh authoritarian mindset, Be Ready To Defend America even as we look back with sad disbelief at yesterday's election and the November 1st predictive New Moon in Scorpio, sign of betrayal. On a personal note, my uncles who fought Nazis in WWII and my Revolutionary War ancestors who sacrificed, fought, and died to help set up this country are cruelly dishonored, if they could know about this fascist coup. Instead, I must know on their behalves. And so I write SO'W for 18+ years while hoping for a better America.

As for Eclipse Cycles repeating through the years and rhyming via similar historical events, 2024 Eclipses are repeating from 1934 in the 8 North and 8 South Series, the year that Herr Ad*lf became president of Germany, if you get my drift; here's the horoscope with astro-notes penned on:

No, our fight for freedom and democracy isn't over, it's beginning!

Yet with the current fascist ascension, we must expect a time of trouble with wild cards such as El*n Mu*k and B*bby Kenn*dy, Jr lined up to take over various departments of government to kleptocratically ruin and embezzle what they can. That's if faithless Tr*mp keeps his promises to them. Subsequently, a Large Looting will ensue with or without them, so a global financial crash is expected, and the crypto-currency hoax will be favored to undermine the US dollar.

Then another cash cow for thieves will be our social safety net programs, now at risk more than ever before, and this itself will undermine the US economy since consumerism and buying power will be significantly reduced or taken away. Obviously, much suffering will result for seniors and others, and America's enemies will be so proud of their favorite insurrectionist fox back in the hen house where he can commit the American Carnage he threatened on Inauguration Day 2017 (horoscope shown). Plus, as you know, the Catholics on the Supreme Court gave him a pass for criminal acts. Word is, prosecutor Jack Smith has closed his investigations of the orange felon and has packed his bags.

Election 2024

So! Very badly done, male voters of America - and the Latino voters who pulled up the ladder behind themselves. You succumbed to the influence of the brooding Scorpio Moon of Inauguration 2017, and allowed moneybags Jupiter in duplicitous Gemini Rx and moving back and forth among Tr*mp's 10th house Sun-North-Node-Uranus trio to seduce you and pretend to add to your bottom lines. Good luck with that, you'll need it with the orange grifter back in the White House running roughshod over our society, animated by the revenge on his mind. You assume that you and yours will be spared his wrath but that's yet to be seen. Look up "cut off nose to spite face" in the dictionary and there you'll be.

Plus, even more women can ble*d out in parking lots for lack of health care, chumps.

Yet another factor may be that the traditional apathy of the American people took over and voters stayed home on the sofa so that others could do the lifting. We discussed this in a vintage Jude's Threshold post concerning the unconscious Uranus-Neptune square of July 4, 1776. (Count their positions backward from Neptune @22Virgo to Uranus @9Gemini; the post displays a Scorpio Rising horoscope but the positions of both planets are the same). This hidden square seems to me to be one of multiple astrological indicators influencing yesterday's pivotal situation, and others past, present, and future.

And though it's beyond the scope of this post, we can even look back as far as certain Jamestown Colony conditions of 1619 if we have the time and interest to do so.

Now here's a bit about the Sabian Symbol of the (2017 and) 2025 Scorpio Moon/s:

9 Scorpio+ rounded-up to "10 Scorpio": "A Fellowship Supper Reawakens Unforgettable Ties": "FRATERNITY; negative expression: surrender of individual distinction and exaltation of naive animality" (Jones). However, the "fraternity" may not be the pro-society kind, more like the hooded kind.

Additionally, here are Horoscopes of the Solar and Lunar Eclipses that influenced Election 2024 and which continue to do so. The first perfected in muddle-headed Pisces, then the 8 South Solar Eclipse manifested with its difficult themes of loss, separation, and sad partings (B. Brady). Astrologers warned but not enough voters listened. Or, too many voters are fans of racism, sadism, Plutonian animalism and criminality on steroids, as it turns out.

Meanwhile, a target is on the US Constitution, as you know, so it may be significant that the freedom document's next Jupiter Return occurs in 2025 - on May 19th to be exact. The document's current return period began on June 5, 2013 @25Gem22 - and Jupiter was conjunct South Node (1Can09) in 1787, with mundane Jupiter being the planet of freedom, freedom of movement, a freedom movement, expansion, and exploration. Yes, Election 2024 Jupiter is in Gemini, as noted, but retrograde. This backward condition did not aid the Harris-Walz Campaign with its freedom slogan and campaign song by Beyonce.

America's Chiron Return: The First and the Current

As you may know, Election 2024 is occurring during America's current Chiron Return, a three-fer series that began April 20, 2024 (DC Horoscope shown, other dates listed).

Well, as the Cosmos has it - and since history tends to rhyme - America's very first Chiron Return/s (also a three-fer due to retrogradation) occurred in 1825 into 1826 @20Ari08 (as in 1776). The rounded-up degree's Sabian Symbol for "21 Aries" is "A Pugilist Entering the Ring." This word picture sounds like a contentious political campaign and subsequent election of a president, doesn't it? Or, make that selection.

Back in 1776, the pugilism obviously referred in large part to the then-ongoing American Revolution, what scofflaw Utopian anarchists are aiming to foment again - except that this time around, the 'maga' anarchists and their enablers represent economic royalists, aka, corporatists and wealthy elitists, and are not American patriots as some of them pretend to be.

So, considering that tomorrow is the very pivotal Election Day 2024, you may wish to read about the political events of 1825 and 1826 when the House of Representatives chose John Quincy Adams for the role. Why? Because no candidate received a majority of Electoral College Votes, a situation that may resemble conditions we face now in 2024, thanks to the current crop of Utopian anarchists who are fascistic and determined to complete the drive for world domination that their idol Herr Ad*lf began decades ago. The little dictator so wanted to coup America!

For America's Horoscope, I've used the July 4, 1776 5:09 pm LMT Philadelphia, PA data (with Aries Point conjunct IC) but use whichever data you choose with mildly varying results from what you see here; Symbol information is penned on - negative expression because of the crude bullies our nation is currently infested with:

In closing, here are two additional factors to consider:

1. As with planetary returns, the July 4, 1776 aspects to Chiron repeat whenever Chiron returns to its 1776 degree. They are: squares from Sun and Mercury, a sextile from Mars, and an opposition from Saturn which is the more problematic aspect since it reveals issues with authority (monarchical) and with authenticity - you know, like we have now with bullies and crooks trying to take over leadership of our Ship of State and toss out the US Constitution We the People depend on.

2. If we relocate these first-ever Chiron Return charts for Washington DC, we find a few critical 29th degrees involved which will resonate with the current 29th degree condition of transit Pluto in governmental Capricorn, ruled by Saturn, planet of the law and order and our court system which the anarchists want to entirely dispense with and return America to some sort of a "wild west" free-for-all, with guns ablazin'.

A quirky way to predict Election 2024?

So many astrologers, so many methods to forecast the winner of Election 2024! Or at least ways to describe the trends therein. One premium factor to consider is the New Moon prior to the Election which just perfected this morning @9Sco35 at 8:47:06 am edt. And basically, it's a Lunar Return to the 2017 Inauguration Moon with its "unforgettable ties."

Well, this post presents a rather quirky or unorthodox method regarding the Election using Composite/Davison horoscopes and utilizing the midpoint pictures that form from the composite horoscopes for both Kamala Harris and for Donald Trump blended with the Election 2024 chart. Please note that if other astrologers have used this method for election outcomes, I am unaware of it; they may inform me if they wish!

Because combining (averaging) each individual's natal horoscope with the Election Day 2024 (November 5th) Horoscope (here I'm using 8:00 pm est charts but have also checked Election Day at 8:00 am and the moment that Election Day Moon reaches 00Cap00:00 at 10:17:17 am est) produces midpoint pictures that reveal, not so much a victor, but shows the conditions and the atmosphere that result if VP Harris wins the office, vs a Herr Trump "win".

So below for your consideration are the composite midpoint pictures with astro-notes penned on; hopefully, my scribbles are readable. Rather than a predictive method, the pictures reveal trends and conditions for VP Harris and for Tr*mp - if or when each 2024 candidate wins the White House, and, despite an extended period of dispute with one candidate already calling the 2024 Election "rigged" against him, my sincere hope for America is that the positive expressions, highlighted in blue, will prevail for the sake of the common good - and for freedom from oppression:

Also a must for best results: a blue tsunami of voters for both House and Senate!

Recommended: read the plutonic, draconian, power-crazed Project 2025 agenda intended to destroy our social safety net programs (as economic royalists have determined to do since FDR created them), purge, imprison, and/or execute Americans including civil servants, exile or imprison blue voters, dissolve the US Constitution and our rights with it, bring hardship and loss to the populace, crash the US economy and shove crypto-currency upon the banking system while draining the National Treasury dry via El*n Mu*k, and commit more criminal mayhem however they wish. Oh! And they wish to return the entire world to a Dark Age feudal system of enslavement, misery, and monarchy.

And should their nazi-style agenda be implemented, Put*n and other enemies of America would be so pleased with their anti-democracy handiwork.

Election 2024, Mars-Pluto, and the NRA

Few folks who want to know can fail to realize that Election 2024 on November 5th times a forceful Mars-Pluto opposition cosmically imprinted upon the event and which, in part, symbolizes our concerns about the use of violence and criminality by those who are determined to "win at any cost," no matter the collateral damage to our country and our people.

Ill tempers will likely be shown, and military deployment and militia groups of various stripes could spring into action or become involved - on the day, or before and/or afterward as the powerful opposition nears exactitude (November 3rd at 6:37 am EST), then begins separating, its energies fading.

Now given the level of emotional intensity these days, and with Mars-Pluto activated, we expect that firearms, even explosives, must be part of the political picture at and around this general election so let's take a quick peek at the noon Horoscope of the National Rifle Association (NRA formed November 17, 1871 with stationary Jupiter conjunct Uranus Rx acting as tail of a high-flying Kite configuration of success) along with a few astro-notes concerning Election Day 2024's positions of Mars, Pluto, Mercury (planet of votes, voters, ballots, decisions, and young people), and disruptive zealot Uranus, the rebel of maga-like "shock troop" proportions; 1871 Jupiter stationary is very much involved as you can see (upper right), and Uranus opposes 1871 Sun (see lower right corner):

Once again, the 12th house midpoint picture of Mr. Trump - Pluto = Mars-Saturn: deaths of many people; destruction; fury (R. Ebertin) - has loudly expressed itself this past Sunday. His call for an hour of ___ echoes a previous event perpetrated by the Naz* regime on the night of November 9, 1938, an expression of their animus against the Jewish people.

Actually, here on SO'W we've previously discussed Kristallnacht, with a post containing the planetary positions on that night of horror, mourning, and loss. One signifiant occurrence in 1938: Herr Adolf boldly asserted himself military commander of the German Army and sent troops into Austria which he declared to be part of the Third Reich (horoscope shown). Perhaps you remember that Herr T recently hailed a "unified Third Reich" if "re-elected".

Meanwhile, Herr T's references to using brutality (as a solution) are turning up more frequently now as Election 2024 nears and may be found in the Horoscope of his "American Carnage" speech of January 20, 2017 during which he pretended to deliver a warning but as many folks now realize, he was issuing a threat against our country. You know - like the death-cult gnatzies in Germany used to do. And sadistically, they followed through.

Then with the draconian Project 2025 agenda of purging that comes along with Herr T if he manages to coup the White House and get himself sworn in on January 20, 2025 (or whenever), let's use the Inauguration 2025 planets at noon EST, Capitol Building, as a symbolic transit chart to the 9:00 pm CET Kristallnact Horoscope to check for planetary contacts between the two events. Foreign Policy Matters and Legalities (9th house), plus, domestic, familial concerns, and daily routines are emphasized for her super-busy year. Now VP Harris' Solar Return 2024 Horoscope reveals a double-Air Sun-Moon blend of Sun Libra-Moon Gemmini. This combination of energies provides a lively intelligence, diplomatic skill, communication talent, and the ability to argue both sides of a case. Relationships with others are all-important, and her charm and genuine friendliness puts other people at ease.

Additionally, this particular personality blend is shared natally by quite a list of luminaries including: journalist Barbara Walters, poet/dramatist T.S. Eliot, singer Bryan Ferry, actress Madeline Kahn, and novelist Faith Baldwin whose most famous quote is probably,

119th Congress: A new House Speaker?

This morning as I listened to an episode of The Mop Up, David Feldman's podcast, inpiration suggested a comparison of the 119th Congress horoscope with the 'noon' natal chart of Speaker-in-waiting Hakeem Jeffries, now Minority House leader, who will take the gavel if Democrats regain the House of Representatives, and a second bi-wheel with Mike Johnson's 'noon' natal chart.

Of course, this indicates that having their natal charts set for 'noon' means that the Angles of their charts must be ignored in our comparisons, and their Moon positions are approximate, yet if the 119th Congress opens as expected at noon on January 3rd of the New Year, this reliably anchors the bi-wheels for us as shown, below.

But first, here's New York's David Feldman, who begins today's episode with Lousiana's Clay Higgins, mean tweeter and pal of Speaker Mike Johnson, also from Louisiana. David then goes on to discuss in his plain-spoken way several other political topics of interest such as "The Steal" and what will occur if Republicans gain control of the US Senate (more stalemates for us), and Election 2024 as the "horse race" promoted by corporate media to boost their bottom lines while aiding a certain conv*cted fel*n:

A quick glance at Hakeem Jeffries' planetary contacts with the 119th Congress Horoscope reveals multiple links along with two significant conjunctions: the Moon-Venus Conjunction @00Pisces conjunct his North Node of future direction and public contact with its cooperative and joining qualities, and Uranus Rx @23Tau34 conjunct Mr. Jeffries' natal Saturn, denoting disruption via new conditions in the area of Saturnian responsibility and leadership. However, a mixture of positive and negative contacts suggests many challenges for the new Speaker of the House, some typical, others made more difficult or impossible if Republicans take the Senate.

For as we know, a Blue Tsunami of pro-America voters on November 5th is necessary to lessen the chances that the policies of a President Harris will be smothered in the cradle. Besides, the current 118th Congress has gained the least-effective award in US history thanks to the Maga House, and that negative reputation must not be bested by the 119th - or We the People will be sunk - and possibly deported.

As for the bi-wheel comparison with Mike Johnson's natal planets, the forceful, even violent Mars-Pluto opposition across the willful Leo-AQ axis lands near, but not conjunct Johnson's natal North Node (5AQ15) which to me hints at future trouble for the 2024 Election certification due on January 6th atop election-denier Johnson's to-do list of turmoil. This is supported by Maga Johnson's natal Mars-Uranus opposition (of reactionary politics and possible criminality) rising at noon as the 119th Congress opens.

Additionally, 119th Congress' South Node (00Lib29) of separation conjuncts Maga Mike's natal Pluto (his will out-of-sync with societal standards; time for a separation from a power position), along with other planetary contacts, both positive and negative, which you may wish to consider for a fuller picture.

Autumn Equinox 2024: a Venus-Pluto Affair

The Autumn Equinox 2024 Horoscope Contains Election 2024

As you may remember, Aries Ingress 2024, aka, Spring Equinox 2024 began this year with intense Moon-Pluto influences of emotionalism and anger which are affecting the entire year, a pivotal one due to Election 2024. Then a seasonal shift of energies arrives on Sunday September 22, 2024 with Autumn Equinox 2024, another cosmic milestone for the year, aka, Libra Ingress 2024.

This Fall season will carry an intense Venus-Pluto signature with chart-ruler (set for DC) Venus rising at a critical 29th degree of its own sign and squaring power-player Pluto, also at a critical degree of Capricorn in the foundational 4th house. And since Aries Ingresses are operative for an entire year, 2024 has Moon-Pluto vibrations overlaid by Venus-Pluto vibes that hint at concerns over hidden wealth and elements of organized crime.

Now obviously, transformative, manipulative, control freak Pluto is the common denominator here but with a difference: in futuristic Aquarius in the Spring, then back in Saturn-ruled Capricorn for a while - the first position indicating a strong communal sense, while the second is "The Dictator" placement (R. Ebertin) of the old man. However, Venus in Libra values relationships and marriage and can take the limelight gracefully to much public acclaim. Does this sound like anyone you know?

Venus: Happy in Libra

Well, Venus in Libra, in the sign of The Scales of Justice, appears to be a cosmic significator for VP Kamala Harris in this Autumnal chart but will enter Scorpio at 10:38 pm ET. Yet we know that Venus and Pluto contacts tend to constellate around issues of materialism, bankruptcy, sexual affairs, strains in the love life, and/or obsessive romantic involvements, many of which may have an element of fate or karma attached; plus, squares always suggest some measure of blockage, obstacle, or delay to the proceedings yet this may only symbolize the intensity of political competitions in 2024 - or, the purposeful last-minute changes to election rules in states like Georgia. And if election results can be delayed long enough, Republicans will trigger a constitutional crisis as part of their ongoing effort to shoehorn an unfit candidate into the White House.

So! Below you see the pivotally important Autumn Equinox 2024 Horoscope set for Washington DC. You'll notice that chart-ruler Venus also applies to a complex sesqui-square with legal eagle planet Saturn Rx in the 5th house of Risk-Taking, Children, and Romance, and as a minor aspect (135 degrees), may have health connotations along with entangled legal situations. Mention should be made that Saturn Rx @14Pis56 conjuncts the 1854 position of the Republican Party's Neptune, the "grim face of reality" transit.

Yet still one's mind wanders to issues of divorce and other break-ups and separations especially with the 8 South Eclipse @10Libra perfecting on October 2nd with themes of loss, partings, and separation (B. Brady). These separative themes are operative at least until the first Solar Eclipse of 2025: the 9 New North of March 29, 2025 @9Aries. (More on this in a future post.)

Meanwhile, let's add to the Autumnal energies the excitable Moon-Uranus conjunction in the 8th house of sex, the occult, debt and credit, insurance, Shared Resources, and Corporatism - all across the possessive Taurus-$corpio axis:

Now as you see, there are other important placements such as banker-donor-politician-corporatist-broadcaster-guru-minister planet Jupiter in mutable, chatty Gemini as apex planet of a midpoint picture with interesting potentials: Moon-Mars = Jupiter: principles; justified actions; love of truth; honesty; openness; a successful woman (N. Tyl; R. Ebertin). And this with transit Jupiter about to conjunct the natal Ascendant of VP Kamala Harris, a transit of harmony and enthusiasm!

Sun/South Node: Selfish Past Actions Bring Karmic Limitations

Meanwhile, the Autumnal Sun @00Libra00:00, a Cardinal World Point of Manifestation, is in the Behind-the-Scenes 12th house of Karma and Large Institutions, opposed by contagious Neptune Rx and North Node in the 6th house of Health, Employment - and Pets. And considering that we're using the lens of Astrology to peek "under the hood" of Politics, this 6/12 (Victim-Savior) axis suggests a cosmic spotlight searching out the back room actions and antics of our political class - in Congress and within the US Justice System - folks that We the People have a right to expect a work ethic dedicated to serving us by adhering to the principles found in America's freedom documents - the Enlightenment ideals that rank far far above the depravity and degradation of death cult Maga-ite saboteurs and gullible seditionists.

Election 2016 and Election 2024 Midpoint Picture Potentials

Well, today I've printed out a curious little graphic showing the Election 2016 and Election 2024 midpoint pictures with potentials as they stood and will stand at 8:00 pm est Washington DC on November 8, 2016 and November 5, 2024. This post is inspired by the fact that a few political wags have suggested that Election 2024 resembles Election 2016 in certain respects based on their political views and information.

However, yours truly must be primarily dependent upon planetary horoscopes and historical trends which resonate with Eclipse Cycles, other cosmic informants such as the Venus Cycle, plus, a smattering of listening to and reading the news, unsettling as it often is.

Other sources include certain podcasts and one of my favorites is by a plain-speaking New Yorker, David Feldman, whose current episode is a don't-miss in my political playbook: Trump Now Makes the Race about Race (You may need to 'rewind'.) Well, of course he does! And this the day prior to the September 10th Harris-Trump Debate (horoscope shown). You know, for a primitive Uranian, Mr. T really is quite predictable.

Admittedly, there is one cosmic factoid in particular that I do not care for at all: that the Predictive New Moon Prior to Election 2024 @9Scorpio is basically a Moon Return to Inauguration 2017's Moon position. Of course, at best this may only symbolize Trump voters from 2016 coming back into the cultish fold - likely because they're afaid not to.

At 9:00 pm ET on Thursday August 29, 2024, CNN is set to air their first joint TV interview since DNC 2024 with candidates VP Kamala Harris and her running mate, Minnesota Gov. Tim Walz. If this event airs as announced, below you see a Horoscope of the interview set for Atlanta, Georgia. The pair of Democratic candidates are currently on a two-day bus tour through Georgia culminating in the beautiful city of Savannah.

An abundance of astro-notes are penned on the chart for curious readers like you, followed by the same horoscope, unmarked; of note is chart/interview ruler Jupiter which makes no applying aspects and this emphasizes Jupiter @18Gem47 in the 3rd house of Communications. At DNC 2024 Chicago last evening, VP Kamala Harris accepted the Democratic Party's presidential nomination at 10:45 pm ET (via my cell phone timestamp as she spoke the words). For your consideration, here's a marked-up Horoscope of that momentous event that I'm labeling, "Kamala Harris Accepts!":

As we know, YOD patterns tend to involve issues of proper timing, and in this case, timing is emphasized by two sextiled bases: Neptune-Pluto and Neptune-Midheaven ('MC', the Goal Point), both pointing toward apex Sun @00Vir30 - conjunct royal Regulus, the king-maker star (queen-maker!) with the star's caution of: success if revenge is avoided; otherwise, all gains will be taken away. This must apply to a Kamala Harris presidency, yes, but since the star rises in the natal chart of Mr. Trump along with this aggressive Mars, the star's caution against his vengeful personality remains operative - and his promise of "so much winning" hasn't turned out quite as he intended. So as most folks realize, cheating is his path to "victory" in November.

All this causes me to wonder: can a President Harris act as an agent of Regulus? After all, the 2024 Election has shaped up to be a case of prosecutor vs perpetrator! For as she's asserted, she "knows his type."

YOD patterns suggest potentials for: karmic opportunity, a special task, crisis (ex: the threat of the P-2025 agenda), a turning point or a crossroads. This, America certainly has reached, as you may agree. Plus, Bil Tierney adds, "A turn of destiny." For VP Harris, and for our democratic Republic, if we can keep it.

Now since the evening of October 1st is the night before the 8 South Solar Eclipse which perfects on October 2nd at 2:42 pm ET @10Lib03 - conjunct Mercury, messenger planet of debates - the VP debate is scheduled to occur during a Balsamic phase of the Moon when "things go bump in the night." And despite the phase's potential for prophetic utterances, I'm unconvinced at this point that the Walz-Vance Debate will happen on that particular date. Perhaps it will, or the event will be rescheduled, but we'll see. This debate might even be the first of others.

However, due to the nearness of the difficult 8 South Eclipse which will influence both Election 2024 and Inauguration 2025, my guess is that no astrologer was consulted for scheduling advice!

Election 2024: Sobering Stakes

Just as during the 1964 presidential campaign between Lyndon B. Johnson and Barry Goldwater, America again faces in 2024 the prospect of a loose cannon POTUS with an itchy "finger on The Button."

Factoring in the sketchy loyalities and betraying nature of felon candidate Trump inspires a consideration of the famous "Daisy Ad" that ran on NBC only once (at appr 9:50 pm edt) and is now described as "a turning point in political and advertising history." The ad successfully turned voters away from candidate Barry Goldwater who was considered in some quarters to be "mentally unfit" for the presidency. Well, history does tend to rhyme, yes?

Now according to Wikipedia, the little blonde girl shown picking daisy petals in the ad was played by child model Monique Corzilius (m. Manuel Luis) who was born May 3, 1961 and raised in Pine Beach, NJ.

The current scandals and corruption of the US Supreme Court do no good for America or for the American people so as a partisan for the common good, I chuckle not over the Court's current circumstances which engender and promote We the People's lack of trust in our judicial institutions. For me this is a reminder that our loss of trust is one of the primary objectives of bad actors, aka, saboteurs, working behind the scenes in order to harm our country, and apparently certain justices are in cahoots and glad for the lucrative perks.

America's Saturn: Direct then Retrograde

Now as you know, America's legal eagle planet, Saturn, was in Libra in 1776, the sign of balance, the Scales of Justice, and of Saturn's exaltation - and the US has been crowing about it ever since. But hold on a minute, because US Saturn turned retrograde (Rx) by progression in January 1997 (exact date depending on which 1776 or other foundational chart you progress). This coordinates with interference with the US Judicial System through the ginned-up scandals of President Bill Clinton and the GOP's subsequent effort to impeach him which included the prurient involvement of Republicans who now long to monitor everyone's bedroom activities - and track ladies' menstrual cycles like a gang of perv*rts! (GOP: Grand Old Perv*rts?). So our traditional privacy rights be dam*ed, what few we have left to us.

In Libra, Saturn behaves reliably and with a strong sense of duty - and he still can since Progressions are merely symbolic. In Scorpio, Saturn suggests seriousness, obstinacy, and delving deeply into difficult problems - like spinning up a fishing expedition to investigate a president of the opposite party in a glorified attempt to end his popularity, his policies, and even his presidency if possible. But with the very popular Bill Clinton, the scaliwags failed. Still, much damage was done to the system, and committing perjury had to become their main issue in order to save face.

Plutonian Power Points Sept and Nov 2024

Prior to Election 2024 on November 5th, there are two more exact contacts made by transit Pluto in opposition to its own position in 1937, 1938, and 1939. Generationally, these Pluto vs Pluto oppositions symbolize the titanic Plutonian power struggle for ultimate control in which America and the world are now engaged - for the US, a culmination point will be reached at the November 5, 2024 Election, and if democracy falls in America, it will fall across the globe. Plus, as you know, the Leo-Aquarius polarity is known as the Self-Will axis. So which mass social movement is stronger - democracy or fascism? There can be no compromise here - and psycho gnatzies never cooperate.

And yet dear reader, I must agree with you, that it's simplistic to place the bulk of the current political and societal stand-off upon the shoulders of little old Pluto, planet of primal violence, criminal activities, and destruction - yet once the dust settles Mr. Invisible can also lead to transformation and regeneration. Therefore, other cosmic factors besides Pluto's influence must apply to these matters including the ongoing influences of America's first-ever Pluto Return/s in 2022, and the recent Neptune-opposite-1776-Neptune transit of persecution (across the victim-savior Virgo-Pisces axis) and ideological erosion from fact-based Virgo to woo-woo Pisces. Meanwhile, the fact that the combined energies of the Neptune-Pluto duo represent the criminal element in society with too much influence, and potentials for drugs, religion, subversion, intrigue, and occult issues.

Pluto vs Pluto: Karma Comes to Call

Now when in Sun-ruled Leo, Pluto tends toward forcefulness, exercising one's power potential, speculation, and/or extraordinary achevements in a particular field of endeavor. Nowadays in Aquarius, Pluto exhibits an urge to reform, a wealth of plans, advancement aided by others, exaggerated hopes and plans, and/or a strong communal sense (R. Ebertin). It's the communal sense in society that seems highly valuable to me at this period in history, yet by Election 2024, Pluto will have retrograded back to 29 Capricorn, a placement which Reinhold Ebertin has labeled "the dictator." And if fascists manage to take over our country, all forms of communal sense will be ended by their bizarre anti-societal agenda.

A further complication at Election 2024 - Mars will oppose Election Day Pluto with transit Mars @00Leo20 forming a Mars-to-Pluto Conjunction of heavy-handed force indicating militarism and the barbarians' "win at any cost" determination and cut-thro*t methods of competition. This chart shows a Mars-Pluto-with-more-Mars condition indicating people who exhibit short-fuse tempers and a need to further hide their activities from others (M. Munkasey). Like criminals do.

Then facing facts, we already know that reactionary "Republicans" are threatening violence if Tr*mp doesn't "win" in 2024, and the belligerent Mars-Pluto opposition is a cosmic picture of the GOP's strong-armed intentions (backed by a global fascist movement), along with the aggression of Mars opposing Mars in November.

And so, America's upcoming presidential and down-ballot elections in November represent the pivotal crossroad, a turning point, for our country that years ago I had read were prognosticated to be a time of a major societal shift away from democratic elections. The fact that convicted felon candidate Tr*mp recently promised his followers in a speech that 2024 will be the last US election that his "Christians" will ever have to vote in suggests that someone backing this degraded demagogue knows about the prognostication, or may be behind its promotion all along - and they've been planning for years that Election 2024 will be America's last on the way to dictatorship. For one thing, the orange dictator wanna-be is expected to be shoehorned into place and ready to implement the brutal purging of America on "Day One". We know this because The Heritage Foundation says so through their draconian Project 2025 agenda - roaring like a dragon as a "Christian Nationalist" country - and a scant veil for Catholicism.

And so I beg to differ with them because personally, I have American heritage, too - ancestors from Jamestown and Plymouth Colonies, the American Revolution, and more - and I say No Fascism Allowed in America. Zilch! Additionally, my uncles didn't fight Nazis in WWII for such barbarism and sabotage to be America's fate. And yes, a step down from global leadership for the US can make sense but We the People do not have to jump into a fascist abyss with these perverted weirdos and their cult followers who mistakenly think they know what they're doing if they vote "Republican" on November 5th.

So, the two dates coming up that transit Pluto @00AQ00:00 in 2024 opposes its own position of 00Leo00:00 in 1939 (Nazi days) are: September 1, 2024 and November 19, 2024, as shown in the two bi-wheels, above. A Harris-Trump Debate? As if!

Our recent consideration of the Biden-Trump Debate included horoscopes of both the first (catastrophic) debate held on June 27, 2024, plus, the proposed debate of September 10, 2024. But conditions "on the ground" have changed, as you know, so now it's VP Kamala Harris who will likely be the Democratic presidential nominee rather than Joe Biden, our sitting president until Inauguration 2025.

Then you also know that the previously scheduled second debate in September has apparently been backed out of by Mr. Trump. Many folks assume that his reticence is due to fear of VP Kamala Harris and her debating skill, and naturally VP Harris will have to become the official presidential nominee for the Democratic Party by then - by August 7th, actually, last I heard.

Anyway, I thought it might interest some readers to have a stand-alone Debate Horoscope set for September 10, 2024 9:00 pm edt New York City, in case the Harris-Trump throwdown should actually occur. The planetary aspect grid is included with the chart which has my study notes messily penned on, and considering the Mutable Grand Cross present that evening, a Debate on September 10th was never a reliably scheduled event no matter who agreed to show up:

The earliest that JB Pritzker's Sun and Moon positions clock in on his birthday (12:00 am PST) are Sun @29Cap02 where transit Pluto, planet of power, wealth, and regeneration, hangs about these days, and Moon @23Leo53. Their latest positions (11:59 pm PST) are Sun @00AQ03 conjunct US Inaugural Sun, and Moon @8Vir33. Within financial realms, Gov. Pritzker was born during a Jupiter-Neptune opposition phase across the financial Taurus-Scorpio axis which naturally resonates with his family's lucrative business empire.

Meanwhile, on a personal level, folks with a Jupiter-Neptune opposition in their natal charts and psyches often engage in social work of some kind (ex: politics) and can be rather absentminded. For best results handling the opposition, Gov. Pritzker may need to guard against a loss of objectivity.

VP Harris Courts Gen Z Voters

Hey there! Would you say that Kamala Harris (is the) Gen Z meme queen? Her campaign's appeals to Gen Z members, aka, "Zoomers", are using more modern tactics in an attempt to reach them in their favorite social network lairs, and large numbers of young folks are responding and registering to vote in Election 2024 on November 5th! That merits a huge Hooray! around here.

Because if Democrats can add the Youth Vote to the Righteous Women vote, we'll create a Blue Tsunami on November 5th to drown the fascist Project 2025 agenda with its cruelty and barbarism.

Now as you know, The Gen Z age range is usually said to be those born between 1997 and 2010. This includes those old enough to vote for the very first time in the 2024 Election. This circumstance inspired a look at the Solar and Lunar Eclipses of 2006, the primary year in which 18-year-olds were born.

Significant is the fact that the two Solar Eclipses of 2006 are repeating in 2024, 18.6 years later! It's merely the eclipse cycle, and apart from the themes of the repeating eclipses, it's basically a timing issue because when a Solar Eclipse in a Saros Series that a person was born into repeats (first time for everyone, age 18), it tends to mark a very prominent and active year for that person, and may even signal a personal year to shine!

So below you see a quick (very messy) graphic that lists the Eclipses of 2006 and 2024 with their themes added which "run in the background of society" yet may not have any personal influence at all. One difference is that the 8 South of September 22, 2006 was basically an Autumn Equinox 2006 Eclipse, even though the Sun had not quite reached 00Lib00:00 - but lingered at the very end of Virgo at an impulsive, critical, under-strain 29th degree. Now to put the Gen Z generation into historical context, we can check out US Events of 2006 which lists a variety of positive and negative occurrences. Stand-outs for me include the George W. Bush SOTU Address (his Axis of Evil speech) and the now-unpopular Samuel Alito being sworn in to pontificate on the Supreme Court bench and to subsequently repeal Roe v Wade (talk about loss!) both of which occurred on January 31, 2006.

Then on February 11, VP Dick Cheney accidentally shot his lawyer in the face while quail hunting in southern Texas; and on September 15, 2006, spinach contaminated with E. coli bacteria killed 2 and poisoned over 200 people -- a tragedy close enough to the 8 South Eclipse of 2006 to be affected by 8S themes of loss and separation.

Solar and Lunar Eclipses Pre-Election 2024

You'll find quite a few astro-notes penned on the dual image, below, of the 8 South Solar Eclipse which will influence America's Election 2024 and Inauguration 2025. The themes of 8 South are listed on the chart (upper right). Then lower left is the Lunar Eclipse Horoscope of September 17, 2024 (the US Constitution's anniversary date) @25Pis40 with nebulous Neptune hanging nearby, always ready to confuse, hide, misplace, gaslight, project, and/or obfuscate issues:

Now as you know, every Solar Eclipse is a New Moon, a time of seeding plans for new beginnings - but with a disruptive factor of 'wild card of the Universe' energy added; then the culmination stage arrives with the next Full Moon. In the case of the 8 South Eclipse of October 2, 2024, the culminating-fulfillment-awareness Full Moon perfects @24Ari35 on October 17, 2024 across the Aries-Libra axis of Relationships, Alliances, War and Diplomacy.

And as you see, in Washington DC the Aries Full Moon is Angular at sunrise so its lunar effects may be nearly instant. Then prominently, Sun and Moon are part of a Cardinal Grand Cross pattern that includes the forceful Mars-Pluto opposition, a "win at any cost" configuration of heavy-handed energies with a potential for ill-tempers to be shown. Military or police action may also be involved with Mars-Pluto so seditious militiamen come to mind.

Plus, when a Cardinal Grand Cross forms, impatience is baked into situations and oppositional challenges, yet it's cooperation and consideration of others that are the key elements if progress is to be made - if progress is wanted.
