Horoscope: DOJ Progressed Full Moon August 2020

May 8, 2020: Below is a dual image of the Department of Justice ('DOJ') dedication ceremony horoscope accurately timed by the Masonic dedication ceremony presided over by President Franklin D. Roosevelt, elected hour set for 3:00 pm est on October 25, 1934 (lower left chart). Upper right is the 1934 dedication horoscope progressed (day for a year) to the moment of the DOJ Progressed ('SP') Full Moon @28Can39 opposing DOJ SP Sun @28Cap39. As you know, this is the Cancer-Capricorn security-ambition/home vs career polarity.

Now if it's true that an SP Full Moon of person or entity represents how far such person or entity can reach into the world, then symbolically August 2020 is it for the US Justice Department. Not that the DOJ will cease to exist but that its influence and power in society will peak then begin to fade from here on out. Of course, much depends on whether the imperatives and objectives of the previous SP New Moon (exact March 15, 2006 @13Cap57 opposing US natal Sun, the leader--then representing George W. Bush) have been successfully fulfilled. If not, the culminating SP Full Moon marks an end of those efforts and a decision or plan to adopt a new direction and new objectives.

In 2006, perhaps the related event that stands out is the Bush administration's controversial, unprecedented sudden dismissal of 7 US attorneys perpetrated on December 7, 2006. Personally I remember how shocking and disorienting this was for our country and for the department itself. And it's possible that with corrupt Attorney General William Barr now protecting corrupt Donald Trump, more sudden dismissals of US attorneys (and other separative, disruptive activities) are on Barr's DOJ agenda in 2020, the year cosmically imprinted upon by the symbolic SP Full Moon of the DOJ across the Cancer-Capricorn axis. Of course, calls for Barr to step down are being more or less ignored by these men with bad intentions against our nation so we'll have to see how that goes.

A difference is that at the 2006 SP New Moon, SP Neptune in Virgo represented 'high level intellectuals and planners who acted as a supportive resource' for the DOJ, thanks to their beneficial trine relationship. Obviously, such support is sorely needed now and many have stepped forward already, some calling for Barr to step down, as noted. See DOJ Alumni Call for AG Barr to resign. Thing is, the SP New Moon horoscope shows SP Neptune Rx at SP IC (undermining), Uranus-Neptune = ASC (anxiety) = US natal Jupiter (rejuvenation!). Plus, there are unfortunate signs of underworld connections (SP Venus-Pluto opposition) which is what we notice as we watch Trump, Barr, and their comrades in action - plundering the resources of the USA and undermining our systems and institutions such as the DOJ, legal system, and Congress. Meanwhile, transit Pluto in Capricorn helps with their plan for structural collapse - as do the continuing influences of the 2018 Tower Eclipse.

Yet hope springs eternal! So maybe August 2020 or thereabouts will miraculously bring Bill Barr's resignation and thus a more traditional path for the DOJ which could qualify as a 'new direction' compared with the off-kilter trail of stones figurehead Trump has embarked us upon. And/or a Trump resignation would happily cause dancing in the streets, now wouldn't it?

However, other than America's return to a more traditional path, (and I don't care to type it but) the events and projects that began around the destabilizing time of the DOJ's SP New Moon in late 2006 into 2007 seem to be successfully culminating in or about August 2020 as timed by the department's SP Full Moon perfecting under the purview of AG Bill Barr on behalf of con man Donald Trump - and their idea of a 'new direction' is so far proving to be a tragic course for the disenfranchised American people, a course leading to the tyranny of plutocracy, monarchy, dictatorship.

Additional Chart Notes include but are not limited to:

Sun-to-Pluto and Moon-to-Pluto implications in the SP Full Moon horoscope: one reveals power needs and a need to grasp control, plus, new perspectives being revealed (Sun), the other suggesting zeal and intense self-application (Moon). Also in the 1934 chart is the DOJ's Saturn Stationing in Aquarius (in 12th house of Politics, Large Institutions, Self-Undoing, Karma) conjoining health asteroid Hygeia which to me may symbolize our current crisis conditions in which health issues (Hygeia) are used by authorities (Saturn) to stop the functioning (Saturn) of society - all very Saturnian and karmic.

At SP Midheaven ('MC') is the radical Uranus-North-Node midpoint suggesting teamwork that pays off (as it often does) in career efforts (MC); the SP Uranus-Pluto midpoint conjuncts DOJ 1934 Moon denoting enforced changes upon the populace. That the SP Full Moon chart shows SP Neptune at IC depicts the current instability at the foundation of the DOJ; and penned on the chart is SP Mars = SP Jupiter-Neptune, the speculation-inflation-grand-scheme duo suggesting that someone has laid plans without prospect of coming to fruition but who has an urge for great achievements. Hopefully, 'spoiled plans' and 'stymied achievements' describe the corrupt mob-like activities of Barr, Trump, and comrades, both foreign and domestic. Meanwhile, Trump's natal Jupiter @18Libra conjoins SP Full Moon Mars so we find him playing at the POTUS role via feigned and staged performances. But you already know this, don't you?

Transiting Jupiter, Pluto, and Saturn

Highlighted in green (left middle), you see the current heavyweight trio of transiting Jupiter-Pluto-Saturn (18 to 27 Capricorn) all retrograde and forming a midpoint picture of 'total reversal of plans, extreme changes and reforms, ideas transformed into reality', and/or 'restriction'. Restriction in August tallies with the themes of the 4 North 2020 Summer Solstice Eclipse under which the DOJ SP Full Moon will become exact. 'Misjudgment of strength or the situation', plus, 'events that block' and 'separation and illusion' are also themes of 4 North solar eclipses (Brady).

Finally, a note about a prominent, angular (chart not shown) August 20, 2020 transit (2:36:31 pm edt Washington DC) and that's an exact opposition between Moon (20Virgo) and Neptune (20Pisces) which reveals deceitful practices and those who scheme underhandedly against their opponents. Perhaps this relates on a deep level to the fact that the SP Full Moon's MC (@14Pisces29) sports the SP Uranus-North-Node midpoint (teamwork, as noted) but also the natal Neptune of the Republican Party (1854) with their nebulous Neptune's Sabian Symbol: "A Woman in FOX Fur." Teamwork!

The Sabotage of America Ongoing

If need be, NPR shares some background info on 'gun-rights activist' Maria Butina, a Sun Scorpio born on November 10, 1988 in Barnaul, Siberia. Reportedly, her Russian agent activities have been ongoing in the US since 2014 when she began encouraging guns-rights demonstrations. A mild activity when compared to her more recent ties to US politicians and officials, plus, there's her work for or with the National Rifle Association (NRA)--and all seem to be compromised by the Kremlin now.

Word is, Ms. Butina has changed her plea to 'guilty' and agreed to cooperate with the Mueller investigation. Unless otherwise is announced, her hearing is set for tomorrow, December 12, 2018, starting at 3:15 pm, on Capitol Hill. Here's the horoscope of that date, hour, and location:

Some of Maria Butina's natal placements are marked in and around the chart (highlighted in lavender pink), a few of Donald Trump's are added (highlighted in blue), and some of America's natal placements, too, such as US natal South Node, the 'tail of the dragon' conjunct the 3:15 pm est Midheaven (5AQ50) and the transiting South Node now 'swiping' across US natal Pluto (27Cap33). And that would be the same Pluto that was spotlighted at the RNC 2016 by a Full Moon Conjunct US natal Pluto: Russian Encounters when Vladimir Putin had the Republican platform changed more to his liking.

And if you view the RNC 2016 Full Moon chart, you'll see that the current position of the North Node of destiny points toward the Full Moon's Sun (the leader). Interestingly, a Sun-NN connection in Politics can lead to 'political associations which eventually do more harm than good, formation of ties to allies drain vitality, and/or a loss of respect due to unfortunate mergers or alliances' (Munkasey's Midpoints: Unleashing the Power of the Planets). Well, yes.

Besides a few midpoint pictures you see listed, notable in tomorrow's chart is that 3:15 pm falls within a Jupiter Hour and Butina's natal Jupiter Rx @2Gem+ is her first natal planet to rise in this horoscope suggesting Jupiterian themes on the menu such as finances and politics. Boundaries have been broken! Donald Trump's first natal planet to rise is his chaos-loving Uranus (@17Gem+ in his natal 10th house of Career and Public Status) which forms his nibs' quirky and very visible trio along with his North Node and Sun; plus, his natal Sun conjuncts the 2nd cusp (22Gem23) of this chart--along with US natal Mars. Has the money been followed? Of course!

Listed in the 5th house of the chart and highlighted in orange is Maria Butina's Prenatal Solar Eclipse @18Vir40 ('PE') which manifested prior to her birth on September 11, 1988 in the 8 South Saros Series. Themes of 8 South are 'loss, separation, sad partings, and possible physical injury' (paraphrasing Brady's Predictive Astrology). An 8 South eclipse last occurred in 2006 @29Virgo; next 8 South: 2024 @10Libra.

And in the 6th house of Military, Police, and Civil Service appear her natal Scorpio line-up of Mercury, Pluto, Sun, and Moon. Transit Venus now conjoins her natal Mercury, planet of communications, deals, and pleas and suggests her decision to cooperate with investigators though it remains to be seen if her information will be reliable for with so much Scorpio within, perhaps we can say that Ms. Butina was born to betray, spy, and sabotage.

On the Pre-Natal Solar Eclipse and Aspects of Roger Stone

Roger Stone, political consultant, opposition researcher, long time lobbyist, and old pal of Donald Trump, was born on August 27, 1952 in Norwalk, Connecticut. No birth hour is known so below we'll briefly consider a noon chart for this WikiLeaks-Putin-Trump-Manafort associate.

And on what isn't really a side note of current events, in 2008 I posted this: Spitzer's Nemesis + Blackmailing for War. Not a side note because the 'nemesis' of Eliott Spitzer is identified as Roger Stone.

And from September 2017 comes Method to the "Madness": Dissecting Roger Stone's Statement to Congress, by a former Fed prosecutor which includes Stone's statement to the House Permanent Select Committee on Intelligence given on September 25, 2017. And perhaps you remember that Stone was involved in stopping the Florida recount in 2008 which allowed the Bush-Cheney regime's backdoor entry into the White House (with the help of a bogus SCOTUS decision). In June 2008, The New Yorker published an article on Mr. Stone The Dirty Trickster. Roger Stone had also worked with the infamous political operative Lee Atwater and with Richard "I am Not a Crook" Nixon, a president who was called in his day Tricky Dick and for good reason. Such a gaggle of cheaters and knaves!

There's even a Trump-esque documentary released in May 2017 titled Get Me Roger Stone for Stone pretty much invented the political career of Donald Trump and perhaps animated the Frankenstein monster itself.

So for a view of Roger Stone's noon horoscope and an analysis of its BOWL shape and other planetary factors you'll want to check out some good astro-splaining of the man. But here and for now, let's consider a few chart details, plus, the Pre-Natal Solar Eclipse Saros Series into which little Roger Jason Stone as born for some background influences in his life.

August 27, 1952 'noon' edt; Norwalk, CT

First, his Moon ranged from 17Sco28 to 00Sag36 during the 24-hour period of his birth date with a 29-degree Scorpio Mars reaching 00Sag11 as the Moon entered Sagittarius. You recognize the '1Sag' degree for its "A Grand Army of the Republic Campfire" Sabian Symbol with its negative expression, 'superficial idleness and unhealthy veneration for the past' (Jones). However, if we assume that Trickster Stone was not born during the waning hour or so of August 27, 1952, we find "30Scorpio" more applicable for his natal Mars and perhaps for natal Moon: "30Sco" = "The Halloween Jester" with its negative expression of, 'ineptness of self-expression and a contempt for established values." On one level this may be a cosmic reference to the long-held desire of the GOP to collapse The Establishment of the US government, a project that seems more within their reach thanks to a Trump White House which Roger Stone helped bring to fruition.

His Virgo Sun (3-4Virgo) seemingly has no major applying aspects so we can't use the closest one to reveal the essence of the man. However, a midpoint picture has natal Sun at apex--Uranus-Neptune = Sun: impressionability and vaunted self-regard (Tyl). And of course, Uranus and Neptune are the 'Age of Reason'/'New World Order pair which met three times all through 1993 @18Capricorn (POLITICAL POWER = smug or strong-armed paternalism--Jones). And with transit Pluto so recently hitting 18Cap, we find that, "the big picture commands a certain course of action which must be followed, very little option to do otherwise." (Tyl). Stone's natal Sun as apex suggests that he's on board with the agenda of these shadowy entities, or at least that he (and most of our politicians) are under their control--which is why lawmakers tend to vote on behalf of their corporate donors (masters) rather than doing the bidding of We The People.

Astrological Pluto: Wealth, Stealth, and Power

And since power and its uses and abuses are always part of any political consideration we should note Stone's Pluto-South Node conjunction in proud ego-based Leo. This hints at an inherited condition in which his ancestors may have oppressed others and now he will know what it's like to be a victim of larger circumstances. The conjunction also denotes a man whose will is out of harmony with current social trends or ethics and this lack can cause resentment and misunderstandings in his life. Violence or associations with violent people may also be indicated though he does have a gift for surviving hardships since the Moon's South Node has a Saturnian separative quality--somewhat similar to Saturn with Pluto. Plus, Pluto-SN may be a cosmic reminder of past family members who were affected by war or other oppressive socio-economic conditions.

Mr. Stone's Pluto-SN may also describe his background involvement with those in charge rather than publicly taking over the reins of power himself. (Edit: due to neglect I am adding Stone's Jupiter-Pluto square to this post--this square describes a wheeler dealer and The False Prophet (Oken).)

Please note that these chart factors, typed in no particular order, may or may not be astro-splained in the article linked above but are worth mentioning concerning this tricky political activist (Mars). Erratic reformer Uranus @17Cancer sesqui-squares (135 degrees) Stone's Mars making his activities be-tangled and complicated via obstacles within obstacles. Sun in Virgo, sign of The Critic, when added to a Scorpio Moon denotes one who is analytical, dedicated, meticulous, self-sufficient, shrewd, and perceptive. This pragmatic Earth-Water personality blend suggests a zealous fanatic and problem-solver. The Harveys, in their Sun Sign-Moon Sign book describe the Sun Virgo-Moon Scorpio blend as having "a servant's loyalty but a tycoon's lust for power."

In the emotional realm it's bottled up feelings for Mr. Stone which of course tend to explode at some point and this may be supported by his only out-of-bounds planet, the Moon, which points toward a faulty or separative relationship with Mother.

Now if by chance Stone was born between 10:54 pm edt (Moon 00Sag00) and midnight, his is an Earth-Fire blend of Sun Virgo-Moon Sagittarius and this would give a 'scorched earth' quality to his personality. However, Sun Virgo-Moon Sag denotes genuine helpfulness, intelligence, a quick wit, and restlessness. It's a blend of a communicator with moral certitude and a "desire for reasonable answers in the face of human suffering" (Harveys), plus, a lack of empathy and a judgmental attitude toward others. Forgive me for saying this, but I don't find 'answers to human suffering' to be part of the GOP agenda. If anything, their goal, and perhaps that of some Democrats, is to worsen human suffering. But that's just me and you may, of course, disagree as heartily as you wish.

Money Money Money

In the realm of finances, we need only look at his Venus-Jupiter trine to see fortunate benefits, wealth, and luxury. Alan Oken calls this trine,"The Golden Horseshoe" for the luck it brings its owner. However, a Sun-Mars square shows dissatisfaction with achievements so that he's always striving for more.

Society Says...

In the realm of societal issues, a Saturn-Uranus square identifies a touchy fellow who rebels against established laws and behaves as a "law unto himself" (Oken). Uranus square Neptune is a common aspect for those born in 1952 and denotes tendencies toward muddled thinking, confusion, and participation in ill-fated social movements. To me this sounds as if Mr Stone would do himself (and us) a favor by closely examining the political and occult organizations to which he may belong because criticism of and resignation from them may be needed rather than continuing to carry water for sinister forces and destructive entities.

Now Stone's Mercury-Jupiter square resonates well with the Mercury-ruled Virgo and Jupiter-ruled Sagittarius blend and suggests one who draws incorrect conclusions and tends toward impaired judgment via a general misunderstanding of facts. If this sounds similar to Trump's natal Mercury-Neptune square of misperception and faulty relationship with truth then we're on the same page. A Mercury-Jupiter square also denotes "a mind that never stops creating a barrage of ideas" and is termed by Alan Oken as "The Exaggerator." This sort of Mercurial aspect is shared by White House Director of Communications Hope Hicks and if you follow her link you'll read about Roger Stone's Pre-Natal Solar Eclipse Series, the 8 South, which is shared by Miss Hicks (1988) and was detailed in yesterday's SO'W post profiling her. Update Feb 28 5:30 pm est: Hope Hicks has resigned!

And so the Sun Virgo-Moon Sag blend mixes optimism with realism and denotes one who can bring their vision down to earth. Therefore, if this blend belongs to Roger Stone and putting Trump in the White House has been one of his visions, we would have to admit that Roger Stone has succeeded.
