Jim Jordan and the Eclipse of the House Judiciary Committee

Rep. Jim Jordan's Saturn Return 2023 Activates the Committee's 13 South Eclipse

The House Judiciary Committee was formed on June 6, 1813, therefore, the Solar Eclipse Saros Series in which the Judiciary Committee began is the 13 South of February 1, 1813 @12AQ11:27. You'll find 13 South themes listed, below.

Then as you know, the current head of the House Judiciary Committee is Republican Rep. Jim Jordan whose natal horoscope and analysis of his political leanings may be found at LeftWingAstrology written by millennial astrologer Kevin Estes. Spoiler Alert: back in 2017, Kevin pegged Jim Jordan as a right-wing authoritarian. After all, "maga" wasn't a term in use yet. Kevin helpfully displays Jordan's natal horoscope (Regiomantanus system) set for Troy, Ohio at 8:45 am (with Mercury rising) but don't ask me where the data issues from for Kevin doesn't say and I do not know, having only a 'noon' horoscope in my files for the 'maga' fellow from Ohio. And the noon chart is the one I've used to reveal Jordan's Saturn Return of February 1, 2023.

So as it turns out, there's a cosmic time link afoot involving the 13 South Solar Eclipse mentioned, above, of the Judiciary Committee, along with the Saturn Return 2023 of Jim Jordan. As you know, astrological Saturn, planet of karma, represents authority, responsibility, accountability, authenticity, management, and a potential for loss if one doesn't adhere to the demands of Saturn, the task master and lesson bringer.

Above is a hand-drawn bi-wheel of the two events (because an ink snafu has occurred, mah bad) intended to demonstrate that the Sun @12AQ06 in Jordan's Saturn Return of February 1, 2023 (marked outer in blue) spotlights or activates the 13 South Eclipse with its difficult themes of:

'Striving for group endeavors (positively or negatively); sinister energy underneath; expansion is wanted but frustration, loss, separation are involved; a potential for a constitutional crisis' (paraphrasing B. Brady).

My point is that the 1813--2023 Eclipse-Saturn cosmic time link suggests that Rep. Jordan is tasked with the Saturnian responsibility of fulfilling the directives of 13 South Eclipse themes of the House Judiciary Committee as its mission was established in 1813. Significant is that, as the Committee was formed, a beneficial Jupiter-Uranus trine identifies a period of keen judgement, applying wisdom through intuition, and a commitment to truth; but if we progress the 13 South Eclipse chart of February 1813 to February 2023, the fortunate trine becomes a disgruntled Jupiter-Uranus square which suggests extreme dogmatism (A. Oken). Considering the maga zealots, radicals, and anarchists undermining the House these days, this sounds spot-on to me.

Now also penned in blue is Mr. Jordan's natal Nodal Axis with his North Node ('NN') of destiny @10Can01 in the 7th house of the 13 South Eclipse chart which places his Saturnian South Node @10Cap01 near the Eclipse's Venus-Saturn Conjunction with the duo's sense of duty connotation which was influential in 1813.

Then for further information, having a look at the various Sabian Symbols for the planets would be useful for those who are curious concerning the slapdash 'job' that Mr. Jordan as Chair of the Committee is doing along with his comrades, the disruptive House magas - in what Rep. Nancy Pelosi has described as a "puppet show" with, as we know, the old Mango Mussolini pulling their strings by threatening them with being "primaried." Why, then they might lose their cushy positions!

Meanwhile, take a walk down a 2015 lane of Capitol Hill wastefulness with Jim Jordan as he accuses Hillary Clinton of lying about Bengazi, yet another lowering moment in congressional history which displays an example of Rep. Jordan's misuse of power and misdirection of energy, time, and money.

Joe Biden's Mars Return of Troubles

In 2021 we discussed the Horoscope of President Biden's Mars Return (12Sco35) of November 17, 2021 which remains operative until the end of October 2023 when Mars returns to 12Sco35 once again. For as you know, it takes planet Mars approximately 2 years or so to complete an orbit so Mars Return Horoscopes are "good for" about 2 years and provide clues concerning new two-year cycles of initiative, individualism, and important new endeavors.

Yes, health concerns may also turn up in a Mars Return Horoscope, often with Leo rising, ruled by the Sun and thus related to heart and spine, especially if the chart ruler is afflicted by planets such as Saturn or Pluto. In this horoscope, chart ruler Mercury squares Jupiter indicating misunderstandings and erroneous conclusions, a good description of current events.

Then if restrictive Saturn falls within the first house of a Mars Return, depleted energy may be the case, if Pluto is in first, then toxins or a need for surgery are possibilities. Of course, if serious illness shows, it must be backed up by progressed planets and additional indications, otherwise, health conditions may be only temporary when shown by a Mars Return Horoscope (duration 2 years or less). Yet as we know with Astrology, forewarned is forearmed, and the next Mars Return may indicate improvement.

However, so far, it seems that First Lady Dr. Jill Biden has been the one having health issues such as surgery. A look at her natal chart, transits, and progressions would be instructive.

Spiteful Politics Can Muck Up Everything

So in consideration of President Biden's current troubles, stress, obstacles, and difficulties with opponents - and you know who they are - a look at the President's current Mars Return Horoscope can be instructive with his Mars in Scorpio, strong its own sign. Follow the link above and you'll see what I mean.

For example, in his November 17, 2021 Return chart, 00Virgo rises along with his natal North Node of fate and destiny, so with Mercury as chart ruler, as noted above, documents and rhetoric are prominent along with fixed star Regulus (keywords: success if revenge is avoided: perhaps we can agree that Joe Biden is not a vindictive man, but we know who is).

Planetary contacts, in force for the 2 years of his 2021 Return, include Saturn in Aquarius square his Scorpio Mars (thwarted actions; delays; frustrations; anger; resentment; fatigue), and reciprocally, today's Mars station turning Direct @8Gemini conjuncts Joe Biden's natal Saturn Rx (@9Gem57) indicates rules being imposed (Special Prosecutor to look into his document situation - some stored away from 10 years ago, his VP days!), plus, a need to become more organized and careful in order to keep the President from running afoul of others. Troubles are often self-created as this transit agrees!

Now there are a variety of other planetary contacts in Mr. Biden's current Mars Return Horoscope, and more will form from now until the end of October. I'm certain you'll spot them but I won't invite your on-topic comments or insights because few leave them nowadays. But they would be much appreciated if you do!

US Constitution's Saturn 2022--2023

Our Constitutional Saturn: The Law and Authority

Below is a bi-wheel showing the US Constitution Horoscope of 1787 in center and the document's Saturn Return of January 2023 Horoscope, outer (#3 Return of 3), with a few astro-notes penned thereupon.

Q: Will the 3rd of three Saturn Returns to the US Constitution result in some measure of resolution of the years-long campaign by anti-constitutionalists to reform its principles which were established under the inspiration of an applying Saturn-Neptune trine (see note in the center of the bi-wheel)?

Well, this particular American prefers to keep the document as-is rather than allow it to go under the knives of its enemies.

Meanwhile, I'm happy to report that there is good news! For certain influences upon the Constitution shown by the previous and recently expired Saturn Return of 1993 (horoscope, below) have ended as of April 16, 2022 (#1 of 3 Returns; #2 = July 25, 2022; #3 is the January 10, 2023 horoscope shown, below), bringing the US an extended period of new conditions now in process of forming since 1993 - with a lot less Trump, as you can see, because also ending are direct influences of the planetary contacts from the natal chart and psyche of the anti-democracy, orange-hued Donald J. Trump whose mojo is fading, as many political pundits now agree. For as you see below, Herr T's natal planets are 'all over' the March 1, 1993 Return chart, with the blighter's planets highlighted in pink (because bullies are cowards).

But first, take a look at the bi-wheel of the US Constitution (center: September 17, 1787; Campion chart #377) surrounded by the January 10, 2023 Saturn Return Horoscope to 23AQ22:25 which is number three of three current Returns, as noted:

A Smattering of Historical Context: 1993 and 2006/07

Above is the previous Saturn Return to 23AQ22:25 which occurred once on March 1, 1993 (with transit Pluto square 1787/1993 Saturn: abuse of authority challenged as scofflaw Trump's dubious authority has certainly been). Plus, US Constitution's Saturn is basically in opposition to Herr T's natal Mars (26Leo) across the self-will axis (Leo-AQ) which suggests obstacles and legal blockages to his aggressive actions along with major gridlock potentially caused by his mistakes, plus, lack of help by those around him.

Additionally significant and issuing from the 1993 Return chart is that the 'reaping rewards for past actions' transit of Saturn opposing its 1787 (and 1993) positions have occurred three times since 1993: the first on October 23, 2006 on into 2007. Here's a revealing photo published by TIME Magazine and dated October 27, 2006 (Chronocrator Saturn, ruler of Time) taken of VP Cheney, an authority figure, rallying the troops at Whiteman Air Force Base in Missouri, a stealth bomber on display in the background. That's "Whiteman."

So as you know, 2006 is the year that US 1776 Mars (@23Gemini) turned retrograde by progression (@17Libra - conjunct Trump's stationary Jupiter) and the Bush-Cheney administration managed to "break" or weaken the US military via preemptive war in sandy places where our troops did not belong - despite what the US Constitution says about Congress' authority to wage war. So those two Republican chuckleheads and their PNAC pals assaulted the Constitution, too, so that US soldiers were used as endless cannon fodder for old bald men with corporate mindsets waging war for the sake of plunder. Feel free to disagree, but there it is.

DC Horoscope: 118th Congress Opens Jan 3, 2023

If all goes as usual, the 118th Congress of the United States, after being sworn in, will meet in first session upon Capitol Hill from January 3, 2023 to January 3, 2025. Depending upon results of the 2022 Midterms in November, varying levels of loyalty to their congressional oaths are to be expected.

So below is a bi-wheel of two DC Horoscopes, both set for the first official day of the 118th Congress, January 3, 2023 - one chart for 9:00 am est (as if!), the other for the more civilized noon hour which is the official hour of opening; the 9:00 am chart shows a behind-the-scenes line-up of planets in the 12th house of Large Institutions, a place were backroom deals are made:

By noon, the Gemini Moon (the public) is out-of-bounds ('OOBs') as is activist planet Mars which conjuncts US 1776 Uranus, so dangerous issues remain in play along with deceit about true motives (Neptune-NN = noon ASC: some lawmakers are uncomfortable being in the presence of other lawmakers). You'll notice that neither chart-ruler makes an applying aspect (so their signs and houses are emphasized), and notably, lawmaker Saturn in Aquarius is unaspected in both horoscopes. This suggests congress members with senior status - and/or, who are unconcerned, inconsistent, and/or conscience-free. A lack of organization may be noticed, yet an inordinate amount of focus and concentration will be applied by some although their focus may be one-pointed and/or too narrow.

(Of course, a different opening hour changes chart-rulers.)

As you see, problematic zealot Uranus, planet of chaos, continues to hang around with the North Node of destiny indicating radical reactionary political operatives while financial largesse (Taurus) pours in from unconventional donors and backers with coup d'etat objectives and a leaning toward intolerance. Meanwhile, communicating Mercury is retrograde so issues cycle up from the 117th Congress and before, while the Capricorn Sun leads a BOWL shape of the planets which indicates a leader or leaders advocating for a cause.

My cause is democracy over the totalitarianism - whether it's cloaked in theocracy, fascism, or nazism. How about you?

Moon-Tracking Midterm Elections 2022

November 8, 2022 Midterms: Sun Scorpio-Moon Taurus

If you've looked at a horoscope set for November 8, 2022, the day of our Midterm Elections 2022, I suspect that one chart factor that popped out at you is the day's Sun Scorpio-Moon Taurus blend of conscious-unconscious energies. Notably, this happens to be the natal Sun-Moon personality blend of President Joe Biden. Hopefully, this suggests a positive influence toward Democrats in election outcomes of the day!

All Eclipses Are Uranian 'Wild Cards' of the Universe

And so we must face another factor: that a Midterms 2022 Lunar Eclipse Conjunct unpredictable Uranus in Taurus occurs on November 8, 2022 at 6:01:57 am est that very morning which emphasizes the eventfulness of the day. Now as you know, lunar eclipses often uncover in stark relief all manner of secrets and inconvenient facts that can lead to scandals and/or sudden understanding, and often reveal or leak information that has long remained hidden. At Midterms 2022, the close presence of rebellious Awakener planet Uranus intensifies, even electrifies, the situation and the day's results, plus, Uranus can also act as The Witness.

Obviously, with Uranian energies involved, technology issues may also be part of the cosmic picture for Midterms 2022, along with gun-toting threats from sore loser Republican zealots laboring under the 'Tr*mp flag' of sedition and insurrection, tactics resorted to when elections don't turn out to suit their degrading authoritarian dreams. Want to subsist like the Russian people? Then vote Republic*n!

Now at Midterms 2022, excited people will be prominent via the Moon-Uranus conjunction during the day, along with a measure of anti-societal attitudes revealed by the unpredictable energies of the Sun-Uranus opposition across the stubborn, fixed Taurus-Scorpio axis. Unusual, disruptive, novel (Uranus) goals (Sun) will be expressed by radical rebels - and possibly by others of a more enlightened and solution-based turn of mind.

Yet as you know, we saw sore losers in action on Tr*mp's behalf via the violent *MAGA Mob Attack on January 6, 2021, the day the US Congress was scheduled to certify the Electoral College Vote Count of 2020 - for Joe Biden. Yet after hours of delay, the certification was accomplished and its requirement in the US Constitution fulfilled despite Tr*mp's desperate attempt to remain in power by riding roughshod over the majority of We the People's votes against him. And yet it's notable to consider that Uranus can choose to behave as a planet of sudden attack and assault especially when acting in tandem with belligerent Mars - and Midterms 2022 Mars is Rx (frustrated) in changeable Gemini, a placement that prefers to be ready for action, but his condition by transit resonates with America's stymied Mars retrograde by progression (since 2006). Plus, planet Mars is very close to Earth right now (until March 2023) which heats things up.

The Cosmic Weather of Midterms 2022

On November 8, 2022 the degrees of Sun and Moon range from Sun @15Scorpio (12:00 am est) to 16Sco45 (11:59 pm est); the Moon will float from 12Tau47 to 25Tau29 (check the Sabian Symbols!), passing over Trump's natal Midheaven and (enraged) star of malevolence, Algol. (Obviously, the orange blighter will be steamed if his candidates don't win.) And as noted above, Sun and Moon will be in opposition in the form of a Lunar Eclipse early that morning. Significant is the sign of a mundane Moon for it reveals the public mood and societal trends (at Tr*mp's Midheaven: the goal; publicity; not running yet he haunts everyone's ballot). In Venus-ruled Taurus, Luna suggests potentials for firmness, steadfastness, constancy, and changing material circumstances (positively or negatively: bribes and pay-offs funding a love of luxury? Or, satifaction with rising employment numbers and more income?).

Yet with a Taurus Moon, it seems apparent that political views and votes will be decided prior to Election Day and have little, if any, chance of fluctuating from stubbornly held positions (Ds and Rs!). Perhaps absentee ballots will flood in across the land, a practical solution to sore loser threats against voters.

And significantly, karmic Saturn in Aquarius (practical ideals) squares Sun, Moon, Mercury, Venus, and Uranus making the old devil the apex planet of multiple T-squares. Of course, restrictive Saturn (his depiction shown, above) in mundane charts signifies the law, lawmakers, court proceedings, managers, serious conditions, and experienced seniors so perhaps a cautious Saturnian guard rail will keep the 2022 Midterms on a more even keel even though 'rebellion against authority' types (via Saturn-square-Uranus, but waning) continue to cause turmoil in society as they clamour for control. Best outcome for such Saturnian T-Squares: 'addressing problems and finding practical solutions.'

Meanwhile, Midterms 2022's Water-Earth Sun Scorpio-Moon Taurus blend of energies reveal a day and election of determination, pragmatism, concern for others, and control over a seething inner world of darker elements (paraphrasing The Harveys' Sun Sign-Moon Sign #ad). My hope is that this control will successfully deal with malcontents 'guarding' polls in various locations so that events won't spiral out of hand and our votes can be safely cast and honestly counted with an integrity the Republican Party has shown that it lacks.

Now here's a quote from a previous US president who shares with President Biden the Sun Scorpio-Moon Taurus blend, "Our nation needs not heroics but healing; not nostrums but normalcy; not revolution but restoration." - Warren G. Harding. Time to Build Back Better, and, thanks to President Joe Biden, we have a chance to do just that! And no, The Establishment isn't perfect but it's worlds better for humanity than fascism and nazism, systems of perversion, cruelty, brutality, and degradation.

So additionally for Midterms 2022, we may expect a mixture of enthusiatic optimism and brooding pessimism with hopefully a positive emphasis on the regeneration of our society, clearly the goal of those voting for fact-based candidates at Midterms 2022 rather than for candidates who dream of overthrowing the US government and tossing America backward into revolution, tyranny, dystopia, and the olden days of misogyny, perversion, violence, slavery, racism, and oppression. Such backward-leaning voters exhibit blindness to the motives of others which surely is part of their problem, and unfortunately, they make it ours when they vote against democracy.

On the Tyranny of Plutocrats and Eagles That Crow

One of the astrological signatures I think of first when it comes to tyranny, plutocracy, and governments is the Pluto-Chiron duo of oppression, primal violence, exploitation, corporatism, (predatory) capitalism, fascism, communism, zionism, Marxism, and other anti-societal -isms the world constantly faces via dark forces.

The cycle of Pluto and Chiron is approximately 60 years in duration and they last conjoined by degree (as seen from planet Earth) on December 30, 1999 and acted as one of the heralds of the New Millennium along with the August 11, 1999 Solar Eclipse, the 'Mother of All Eclipses' in the 1 North Saros series as what some call the 'King of Terror' Eclipse prognosticated by seer and astrologer Nostradamus.

Conjoining at '12 Sagittarius', Pluto-Chiron's Sabian Symbol is descriptive:

"A Flag Turns Into an Eagle That Crows"; "Keyword = ADJUSTMENT; positive expression: successful establishment through genuine self-expression; negative (shadow side/unconscious--jc) expression: idle prejudices and unsubstantiated claims." (The Sabian Symbols in Astrology, Jones.) Few can disagree that the bogus lead-up to the Bush-Cheney invasion of Iraq (and really, Afghanistan, too) was predicated on "unsubstantiated claims" and fakery. Even Colin Powell acted his part in the game of persuasion which he performed at the complicit UN.

The 1 North series originated on January 4, 1639 @13Cap48 if you'd care to take a look at the societal conditions and historical events of that year for deeper insight into 1N eclipse themes which include: 'unexpected events add pressure to personal or group relationships; making hasty decisions is cautioned against because information is distorted and possibly false. There is also an essence of health concerns attached' to the 1N series' (paraphrasing Brady's Predictive Astrology.)

Here's an early post I wrote about 'The King of Alarm Eclipse' Horoscope with a few details; please note that no edits have improved the following post.

Three Prominent Eclipse Factors:

1. The initial eclipse in a series permanently imprints upon each future manifestation of all eclipses in the series; for 1 North, this adds a Saturn-ruled Capricorn vibration to its Solar Leonine influences.

2. Eclipses are often called the 'wild cards' of the Universe due to their Uranian ability to reflect unexpected events and to reveal secrets and hidden causes. Changes of direction often occur.

3. New and Full Moons can act in similar Uranian fashion to Solar (New Moon) and Lunar (Full Moon) eclipses especially when they fall upon sensitive degrees, particular planets, nodes, and/or angles. Disruption and revelations may occur as with eclipses, the 'wild cards of the Universe'. Plus, New and Full lunations retain their 'seeding of a new cycle' and 'culmination phase' timings.

So as you see, the initial eclipse degree of 13 Capricorn opposes US natal Sun (leadership) which links its potentials to the US government, plus, another factor from 1N's manifestation in 1639 is that restrictive, depressive Saturn @6AQ22 conjoins America's natal South Node (of 1776) which adds potentials for limitation, isolation, separation, and ambitions that are out of harmony with prevailing societal attitudes and practices You know--like a vision of Global Domination aided by a false flag operation to emotionally manipulate the American people into waging preemptive war, the one we'll never on this Earth be able to wash off our collective conscience thanks to warmongering 'rulers'.

Ancient as the Hills: East vs West

Now if we consider the attacks of 9/11/01 as issuing from the 'King of Terror' (or, 'Alarm') Eclipse of August 11, 1999 @18Leo and thus as another of the heralding events of the New Millennium, we note that on 9/11/01, transit Neptune, signature planet of Islam, conjoined US natal South Node (6AQ) which adds elements of intrigue and misfortune that are out of control of its victims. A sense of fate or karma was prominent on 9/11/01 as Islam (Neptune) conjoined America's SN (fate; inheritance) with the American public reaping what had been sown (karma) for Washington's past (SN) hastily performed actions and betrayals. We might even say that certain past actors (SN) participated in the deceptive ruse (Neptune).

Then unsurprisingly, the attacks of 9/11 were used to justify the already planned implementation of tyrannical laws (ex: the US 'Patriot' Act) which undermine the very nature and principles of America--against what the American people thought we were--as our country was labeled by Osama bin Laden the 'great satan' -- but to me that was a perfect example of the devil calling the devil 'devil'!

As we look ahead, please note that a Solar Eclipse in the 1 North Saros Series repeats on August 21, 2017 @29Leo as the second of three Great American Eclipses. 'Information is distorted and possibly false' indeed.

2021--2022 Biden Agenda Blocked by Saturnian forces

Saturn in Aquarius: Austerity, Ambitious Plans, and Selfish Politicians

On April 12, 2021 we discussed how Karmic Planets Block President Biden's Plans into 2022 and perhaps most readers recognize how this turns out to be the case now that Biden's first term is well underway and non-governing Republicans are doing their 'thing' including threatening a government shutdown (again) over the debt ceiling (and because the GOP can cause a global financial meltdown if they're a-wantin' to). Follow the link for a list of primary planetary culprits now affecting Joe Biden's natal planets. Naturally, positive transits are also in effect for the president but the negative ones seem to be holding sway at the moment.

Yet it isn't only Mitch McConnell and his Republican comrades blocking the Biden agenda (financial and otherwise), it's certain members of President Biden's own Democratic Party via what some pundits call a "party split".

Plus, as you know, the Pluto-Chiron duo is a favorite of plutocrats the world over and both men are children of their pairing of exploitation, racism, various other isms, and primal violence. A major difference is that President Biden uses these powerful energies more positively for society while others born under Pluto-Chiron influences (of approximately 80 years ago in proud, vain Leo) prefer using its darker side to satisfy their selfish interests and to gain dominance over others (exs: "owning the libs" and the 'success at any cost' attitude.) McConnell's Mercury-Venus = transit Saturn: 'thouroughness; a serious attitude' (R. Ebertin); Mercury-Venus in Politics: 'a business sector at odds with society; speeches emphasizing economic facts; debates on added costs; news about the status of wealth' (M. Munkasey).

Why So Bossy and Austere?

So! The reason I'm fussing about all this tonight is that tiresomely, transit Saturn Rx in early Aquarius has been stomping on Inauguration 2021's Jupiter (@7AQ22, 10th house) so that conditions of economic restriction, limitation, and blockage clearly are part of the ongoing bedevilment against the Biden White House and agenda as prosperity is slowed (and will be the world over if the GOP don't raise the debt ceiling so that Ameria can pay bills already incurred - including those racked up by Republicans).

Now as you know, transit Saturn turned retrograde on May 23, 2021 @13AQ31:01 and has been opposing the natal Plutos in Leo of many of us - or soon will (for myself in February 2022). This transit has already occurred for McConnell but is in progress now for Joe Biden. Transit Saturn conjunct Inauguration 2021 Jupiter only adds to Mr. Biden's and our limitations and the serious baggage such karma brings.

Saturn to Inauguration 2021 Jupiter exact 3 times in 2021: February 18, September 16 (just passed!), and finally: November 4, 2021. (Using Inauguration 2021 Biden Oath Taken at 11:47 am est.)

However, karmic Saturn turns Direct on October 10, 2021 @6AQ52:43 (conjunct US natal South Node, a Saturnian point - just to make things more karmic and separative in America! Then perhaps on one level, Saturn-SN symbolizes the GOP and the authority-craving party's separative sentiments against the federal government, its mockery of US laws (and subpoenas), and its general lack of cooperation with traditional values and ethics. Of course, South Node suggests past behavior no longer useful, and regressive Republican ideas issue from the 1850s and 1950s which is part of why they act neurotically and expect to shove America backward to settle for social and political conditions of the past.)

And looking ahead at devilish Saturn's path, the old man won't reach and surpass his Shadow Degree (13AQ31) until mid-January 2022 so limitations and some forms of restriction should lighten up by then if they haven't previously.

On the other side of the political equation, this release from his Shadow phase could inspire some Saturnian folk to add even harher austerity measures to their dystopian authoritarian agenda intended for the rest of us. Not for them, of course, but for the masses of people they choose to prey upon and exploit.

Antony Blinken's Saturn Return Teaches Lessons on Afghanistan

Karmic Saturn: Planet of Government, Law, Status Quo, Accountability, Loss

Bio details concerning America's current Secretary of State Antony Blinken reveal his birth date to be April 16, 1962, in Yonkers, New York. With his birth hour unknown, a 'noon' horoscope set for this date and location shows Secretary Blinken's natal Saturn @10AQ24 square natal Neptune Rx @12Sco33 (2A09), an aspect that Alan Oken has termed, "The Self-Defeatist."

Of interest is the fact that Secretary of State Antony Blinken is in the midst of a Saturn Return (no matter his birth time) which, using a 'noon' natal chart, actually occurs three times: March 20, 2021; July 30, 2021; December 17, 2021 - all in 2021, the year of the Afghanistan Withdrawal fiasco and the Saturnian fingers of blame pointing toward several prime suspects including four presidents (and I must add, Dick Cheney).

Therefore, each time transit Saturn returns to his natal degree in Antony Blinken's natal chart and psyche, the taskmaster planet squares his natal Neptune, a transit indicating that he should beware of people who make false claims or promises. You know, like members of the Afghan army who capitulated to the Taliban instead of standing up to them as promised or implied - an outcome that President Biden and Secretary Blinken erroneously depended upon. Besides, trying to impose Saturnian reality, structure, and/or limitations upon incompatible, unstable, or deceptive situations results in negative outcomes for all involved. And in the case of Afghanistan and the overly long US occupation, chaos has resulted. However, orderly Saturn does not approve of chaos yet we know that loosey goosey Neptune isn't nearly as picky.

Now another current transit to his chart is Sun-to-natal-Uranus Rx (26Leo31) which suggests a brief period of organizational difficulties, plus, a lack of loyalty on someone's part along with a closer degree of media scrutiny due to his position. And of course, various pundits and others are wondering aloud and in print if Secretary Blinken should keep his State Department job. Whether he keeps his position or not, the Sun (media spotlight) has starkly revealed the chaos (Uranus) in the situation - mistakes (Neptune) were made as the Biden administration trusted (Saturn) unreliable people (Neptune, planet of the Middle East) and are reaping the "benefits" of what Tr*mp had sown with his previously touted "peace deal" with the Taliban. Now there's a lack of loyalty.

On the Personality of Antony Blinken

So on April 16, 1962, the Moon remained in Virgo for the 24 hours with the Sun in late Aries (conjunct his Mercury). This gives Mr. Blinken a bull-dozing, volcanic Fire/Earth Sun Aries-Moon Virgo personality blend, quite the bossy combination suggesting one gifted with administrative skills who's an expert in his field. Selfish yet dutiful, Blinken can alternate between being outspoken and direct or shy and reticent and, unless other factors intervene, can be insensitive to the feelings of others.

Horoscope: 2021 Saturn opposes Trump n Pluto #3 of 3

June 11, 2021: As you know, restrictive Saturn, karmic planet of Time, authority, authenticity, realism, limits, death, and/or loss (if deserved, or the time draws nigh), now traverses the sign of Aquarius where the Old Man rules along with eccentric, progressive Uranus (unless you're a complete traditionalist!) so we should note that the ongoing Saturn-Uranus square in rigid Fixed signs (AQ-Taurus) over our heads signifies the current R vs D stalemates in Congress (status quo vs progress), plus, global society is experiencing a general conflict between the old order vs a new order, nowadays in the form of democracy vs authoritarianism (or, fascism/neo-nazism).

Note that when in Aquarius, reality-based Saturn can signify practical ideals and plans, but for less grounded types can denote eccentric expectations that lead to disappointment, or, ambitious plans without a firm foundation.

Now today's post is for considering major 2021 transits to the natal chart of Donald Tr*mp, a demagogue I'd hoped to never type about again.

Yet certain 2021 transits to his natal planets are significant for the American people (through his nibs as a recent figurehead of the country, now trying hard to remain politically relevant - and solvent). These transits may be used as a lens through which to ponder the wider cosmic influences affecting our society and affecting other nations and cultures across the globe, at least until he is completely removed from the world stage. So here goes:

Below is a color-coded bi-wheel with Tr*mp's natal chart in center, with the third of three transit charts (outer) showing legal eagle Saturn opposing his natal 12th house, unaspected Pluto (10AQ02 vs 10Leo02) which represents the several legal battles and lawsuits that his delusional, underworld self is embattled by. As you know, his Pluto = his Mars-Saturn midpoint, the 'death axis' according to Reinhold Ebertin, and signifying brutality, destruction, and the deaths of many people, as we've experienced.

Several midpoint pictures are listed on the chart, plus, the transit that times the chart is highlighted: Saturn oppo natal Pluto with potentials for: 'a time of limited resources, authority directly challenges and threatens power and control'. We may expect that his popularity will continue to plummet with transit Venus in Capricorn opposing natal Venus in Cancer, and the ability to 'face the truth' certainly is not one of his strong suits (Pluto oppo natal Venus: 3x in 2021 exact on February 18, July 10, and December 25).

Meanwhile, as many astrologers have noted, transit Neptune in shady Pisces has been squaring his natal Sun-Moon opposition and Nodal Axis (fated!) suggesting his personal condition of illusion, fantasy, discontent, isolation, and the undermining of relationships. (For as you know, since the Tr*mp Mob Attack of 1/6, droves of supporters have been deserting the sinking bulk of Herr Tr*mp. And of course, Neptune in Pisces is the natal placement of the Republican Party (1854), sometimes called the Conspiracy Party.

It seems that the GOP has used Neptune's return to Pisces to time their current undermining and erosion of the federal, centralized US government - as such hotheads did in secession days culminating with the Civil War - but that's a fuss for another day.

So for Tr*mp, all of 2021 is unfavorable for 'exacting revenge' (his favorite pastime!), 'calling in debts', and/or 'working against tradition or authority'. Plus, transit Pluto opposing natal Venus indicates that it's time to face the truth (as if!) and may trigger bankruptcy filing since resources are limited; relationship conflicts are also suggested. However, these potentials do not address any hidden wealth (Pluto in Leo) he has squirreled away, although that possibility may be disputed by some since he's always been known to be a fortune-hunting wastrel (see lower left).

So as noted, the following horoscope displays the 3rd of three oppositions to natal Pluto. 1. March 16, 2021; 2. August 4, 2021; and 3. December 13, 2021. Admittedly, he may or may not be located in Mar-A-Lago, Florida in December 2021 - and should not be since it's a place of business, not legally a residence.

DC Horoscope: Summer Solstice 2021 w Jupiter Rising

Summer 2021: Karma and Tension Yet Jupiterian Optimism

February 25, 2021: Below you see the DC Horoscope of Summer Solstice 2021 set for the moment on June 20th 11:32:23 pm edt that the Sun reaches 00Cancer00:00 in our hemisphere. As you see, the 2021 Summer Solstice Moon @9Sco26 falls into the 9th house when the chart is set for Washington DC, Sun is in the 5th house, and together the two luminaries create a Double Water blend of energies. Rising in 1st house is stationing Jupiter @2Pis11 which turned retrograde 12 hours 27 minutes ago, followed by Neptune:

Chart-ruler and co-ruler, Saturn and Uranus, retain their disagreeable square relationship, here from 12th house to 3rd house but separating, suggests a continuation in Summer 2021 of conflicts between the status quo, or The Establishment, vs th radical, disruptive forces of zealotry and anarchy. Plus, in futuristc Aquarius, karmic Saturn in Politics tends toward progressive policies which angers radical reactionaries even more in their quest for control. All in all, tremendous tension and frustration simmer and erupt when stirred off and on by bad faith actors as we've seen over and over again with the January 6th Mob Attack a crescendo - and a 'dry-run' for more.

Meanwhile, whatever financial aid and improvements the Biden administration intends to put in place to help the beleagured American people, and whatever level of optimism exists within the Sun-Jupiter trine, funding of various kinds may recede, and opportunities may be withdrawn since financier-corporatist-politician-guru planet Jupiter retrogrades in June. For as you know, periods of Jupiter Rx are always significant to political proceedings as well as financial matters and conditions. Plus, religious concerns and military issues will also be affected (Jupiter The Hierophant, and The General).

However, with Stationing Jupiter, altruistic in its traditional sign of compassionate Pisces, we may hope the Great Benefic's favors will extend for a while, then pick up once Jupiter turns Direct in mid-October 2021 @22AQ19. It seems significant that the only applying aspect to the Solstice 2021 Sun - and the closest - is the trine with Jupiter! Perhaps the protective function of Jupiter plus, the protective Fire Grand Trine of spontaneity and confidence will defend many lives and lift conditions above the bad-loser vibes of the 'previous guy' and his hate-filled comrades. For violent implications, check the chart, lower left, for the T-Squares and their midpoint potentials, plus, lower right, is a Thor's Hammer (or, Fist of God) between the Moon-Mars square with its anger issues and lack of empathy, and deceptive Neptune in Pisces.

That both Jupiter and Neptune in 1st house are in the intercepted sign of Pisces identifies some of the karmic conditions we face across the victim-savior axis of Virgo-Pisces (exs: income inequality; minimum wage increase), plus, large events involving water and other liquids are indicated which suggests natural disasters and may suggest issues that concern the Green New Deal (Jupiter, the 'Jolly Green Giant'?). Additionally, Jupiter-Neptune's tendencies toward fraud, inflation, and other speculative financial schemes will be on the rise and must be dealt with. And tiresomely, the Jupiter-Neptune duo also indicates political conflicts and possibly the wrong diagnosis (Ebertin).

Meanwhile, for our domestic scene oncerns, we may wish to add the North-Node-conjunct-IC factor to our protective, good fortune list of benefits! And there in 4th house is the Prenatal Solar Eclipse ('PE') of Summer Solstice 2021 with its 5 North themes of 'visions, hunches, prophetic dreams, and inspired insights' (Brady) in Mercury-ruled Gemini, the sign of good news!

Now I realize that it's quite foolhardy to publish this post and horoscope so far in advance of the Summer 2021 season (for much will transpire between now and then) so the rest of the chart's karmic conditions and other planetary factors and implications I'll leave for a future post. This may give you, dear reader, time to prepare for Summer Solstice 2021 and perhaps in the mean time may spur an interest in studying the horoscope for yourself! Can the US Constitution Handle Today's Problems?

Someone Has a Ready-Made Answer to This Disturbing Question

In an article first published in The Nation, the US Constitution is deemed "incapable" of meeting the crises we now face. In American Democracy Was Never Supposed To Work we can read about Founding Fathers purposefully kneecapping democracy in order to protect wealthy plutocrats such as themselves, an idea heard often enough in recent years. It's a plan that continues to work against the common good to this day. Even so, amending the Constitution is a scary thought for who can be trusted to tinker once again under its venerable hood?

Meanwhile, we know that weaknesses in our political system make it necessary to institute more corrective measures than just removing a kicking-and-screaming Trump from the White House. However, certain operatives and saboteurs in and against the US have for years worked to undermine We The People's trust in government to such an extent that the Biden administration must find ways to regain such trust. No one thinks it will be easy. Everyone knows it's an imperative.

So now that years of undermining America have brought us to this chaotic pass, with a Constitution few have faith in and some are disloyal to, the Hegelian Dialectic scam - create a problem so you can offer the solution you were determined to implement all along - seems ready to be further foisted upon us as Americans are marched into a 'New Order' - well-timed by the Great Conjunction-Mutation of Jupiter and Saturn at Winter Solstice 2020, a 'new order' of major reforms and restrictions that the world is supposed to clamor for because nation-states can't handle such massive problems. However, it's the path to global authoritarianism so don't look too closely!

And so for your consideration, or re-consideration, here is the Horoscope of the US Constitution from a previous post (which is why the chart doesn't have the most current transits around it) and as you see, the current Capricorn heavyweights, plus, Saturn now moved into Aquarius as of December 17, 2020 (and Jupiter about to do so) are all in the behind-the-scenes 12th house of karma, self-undoing, and secret enemies. Horoscope: DOJ Progressed Full Moon August 2020

May 8, 2020: Below is a dual image of the Department of Justice ('DOJ') dedication ceremony horoscope accurately timed by the Masonic dedication ceremony presided over by President Franklin D. Roosevelt, elected hour set for 3:00 pm est on October 25, 1934 (lower left chart). Upper right is the 1934 dedication horoscope progressed (day for a year) to the moment of the DOJ Progressed ('SP') Full Moon @28Can39 opposing DOJ SP Sun @28Cap39. As you know, this is the Cancer-Capricorn security-ambition/home vs career polarity.

Now if it's true that an SP Full Moon of person or entity represents how far such person or entity can reach into the world, then symbolically August 2020 is it for the US Justice Department. Not that the DOJ will cease to exist but that its influence and power in society will peak then begin to fade from here on out. Of course, much depends on whether the imperatives and objectives of the previous SP New Moon (exact March 15, 2006 @13Cap57 opposing US natal Sun, the leader--then representing George W. Bush) have been successfully fulfilled. If not, the culminating SP Full Moon marks an end of those efforts and a decision or plan to adopt a new direction and new objectives.

In 2006, perhaps the related event that stands out is the Bush administration's controversial, unprecedented sudden dismissal of 7 US attorneys perpetrated on December 7, 2006. Personally I remember how shocking and disorienting this was for our country and for the department itself. And it's possible that with corrupt Attorney General William Barr now protecting corrupt Donald Trump, more sudden dismissals of US attorneys (and other separative, disruptive activities) are on Barr's DOJ agenda in 2020, the year cosmically imprinted upon by the symbolic SP Full Moon of the DOJ across the Cancer-Capricorn axis. Of course, calls for Barr to step down are being more or less ignored by these men with bad intentions against our nation so we'll have to see how that goes.

A difference is that at the 2006 SP New Moon, SP Neptune in Virgo represented 'high level intellectuals and planners who acted as a supportive resource' for the DOJ, thanks to their beneficial trine relationship. Obviously, such support is sorely needed now and many have stepped forward already, some calling for Barr to step down, as noted. See DOJ Alumni Call for AG Barr to resign. Thing is, the SP New Moon horoscope shows SP Neptune Rx at SP IC (undermining), Uranus-Neptune = ASC (anxiety) = US natal Jupiter (rejuvenation!). Plus, there are unfortunate signs of underworld connections (SP Venus-Pluto opposition) which is what we notice as we watch Trump, Barr, and their comrades in action - plundering the resources of the USA and undermining our systems and institutions such as the DOJ, legal system, and Congress. Meanwhile, transit Pluto in Capricorn helps with their plan for structural collapse - as do the continuing influences of the 2018 Tower Eclipse.

Yet hope springs eternal! So maybe August 2020 or thereabouts will miraculously bring Bill Barr's resignation and thus a more traditional path for the DOJ which could qualify as a 'new direction' compared with the off-kilter trail of stones figurehead Trump has embarked us upon. And/or a Trump resignation would happily cause dancing in the streets, now wouldn't it?

However, other than America's return to a more traditional path, (and I don't care to type it but) the events and projects that began around the destabilizing time of the DOJ's SP New Moon in late 2006 into 2007 seem to be successfully culminating in or about August 2020 as timed by the department's SP Full Moon perfecting under the purview of AG Bill Barr on behalf of con man Donald Trump - and their idea of a 'new direction' is so far proving to be a tragic course for the disenfranchised American people, a course leading to the tyranny of plutocracy, monarchy, dictatorship.

Additional Chart Notes include but are not limited to:

Sun-to-Pluto and Moon-to-Pluto implications in the SP Full Moon horoscope: one reveals power needs and a need to grasp control, plus, new perspectives being revealed (Sun), the other suggesting zeal and intense self-application (Moon). Also in the 1934 chart is the DOJ's Saturn Stationing in Aquarius (in 12th house of Politics, Large Institutions, Self-Undoing, Karma) conjoining health asteroid Hygeia which to me may symbolize our current crisis conditions in which health issues (Hygeia) are used by authorities (Saturn) to stop the functioning (Saturn) of society - all very Saturnian and karmic.

At SP Midheaven ('MC') is the radical Uranus-North-Node midpoint suggesting teamwork that pays off (as it often does) in career efforts (MC); the SP Uranus-Pluto midpoint conjuncts DOJ 1934 Moon denoting enforced changes upon the populace. That the SP Full Moon chart shows SP Neptune at IC depicts the current instability at the foundation of the DOJ; and penned on the chart is SP Mars = SP Jupiter-Neptune, the speculation-inflation-grand-scheme duo suggesting that someone has laid plans without prospect of coming to fruition but who has an urge for great achievements. Hopefully, 'spoiled plans' and 'stymied achievements' describe the corrupt mob-like activities of Barr, Trump, and comrades, both foreign and domestic. Meanwhile, Trump's natal Jupiter @18Libra conjoins SP Full Moon Mars so we find him playing at the POTUS role via feigned and staged performances. But you already know this, don't you?

Transiting Jupiter, Pluto, and Saturn

Highlighted in green (left middle), you see the current heavyweight trio of transiting Jupiter-Pluto-Saturn (18 to 27 Capricorn) all retrograde and forming a midpoint picture of 'total reversal of plans, extreme changes and reforms, ideas transformed into reality', and/or 'restriction'. Restriction in August tallies with the themes of the 4 North 2020 Summer Solstice Eclipse under which the DOJ SP Full Moon will become exact. 'Misjudgment of strength or the situation', plus, 'events that block' and 'separation and illusion' are also themes of 4 North solar eclipses (Brady).

Finally, a note about a prominent, angular (chart not shown) August 20, 2020 transit (2:36:31 pm edt Washington DC) and that's an exact opposition between Moon (20Virgo) and Neptune (20Pisces) which reveals deceitful practices and those who scheme underhandedly against their opponents. Perhaps this relates on a deep level to the fact that the SP Full Moon's MC (@14Pisces29) sports the SP Uranus-North-Node midpoint (teamwork, as noted) but also the natal Neptune of the Republican Party (1854) with their nebulous Neptune's Sabian Symbol: "A Woman in FOX Fur." Teamwork!
