Are BP-Gulf Oil whistleblowers dying mysteriously? video
Are the several mysterious deaths and arrests since 2010 connected to knowing too much about the April 2010 BP-Gulf Oil Blowout? This video details 9 cases of interest relating to whistleblowers such as scientists and others who were or may have been threats to BP, to other companies involved in the Blowout, and/or to the US government concerning the explosion of the Deepwater Horizon rig (a horoscope of the April 20, 2010 event and the natal chart of Mexico are shown.)
The list of mysterious deaths includes the names of two high-profile men whose lives have been snuffed out since the BP Blowout occurred and whose deaths spotlight political implications: Senator Ted Stevens in an airplane crash (an easy sabotage for those who know how), and bio-weapons expert, Pentagon consultant, and aide to US presidents, John P. Wheeler, who was murdered in late December 2010 and his body stuffed into a trash dumpster where no one would ever find him.
But glad to say, the sanitation crew did.

One year on: BP-Gulf Oil Blowout Apr 20, 2011
Today my thoughts are with the families and friends of the eleven workers killed on British Petroleum's Deepwater Horizon rig on April 20, 2010 and all the good people on the US Gulf Coast who continue to suffer from BP's mistakes, incompetence, and greed.

Environmental damage, health concerns, and income depletion of the population on America's Gulf Coast continue in spite of all efforts to hush things up and sink them to the bottom of the Gulf along with the oil. Fish are being caught with rotting fins, reports Amy Goodman today in her hour-long broadcast today at Democracy Now! as she asks guests to speak on where we are today.
Wildlife continues to die, people are hurting and the US government refuses to make a connection between the oil blowout and people's dire health consequences now appearing. The dispersant BP used to hide the massive amounts of oil (which they lied about from the start) is causing horrendous harm on top of the original damage. BP used the highest amount of dispersant ever used before - dispersants that are banned in Europe which means, of course, that the US gets saddled with them. Well, they had to sell them somewhere and American citizens are once again used (Pluto/Chiron = disenfranchisement; victimization) as the corporate world's guinea pigs.
So where we are today is we're scr*wed, as we well know, and Amy Goodman's interviews on the first anniversary of the BP-Gulf Oil Blowout are highly recommended - for we turn our backs on BP at our peril.

"Austerity is here!" Alex Jones video; US transits of austerity

Well, if someone wanted my top picks of astrological factors that describe our nation's current atmosphere of 'austerity cuts' I would have to cite four:
1. the background influence of America's Secondary Progressed Full Moon of December 24, 2008 when we reached our limits of expansion (4Vir10/Pis) during the throes of Financial Collapse 2008;
2. the transit of Saturn (planet of austerity, realism, restriction, loss, and delay) to US natal Neptune 22Vir25, planet of dreams, ideals, illusions, loss - and the masses which in 1776 was posited in Virgo, the sign of Work, Service, and Health.
3. the transit of often fraudulent, deceptive Neptune to US natal Moon (we-the-people) bringing the difficult transit's ongoing sense of rootlessness, losses of homes and possessions, lies to the people, and the BP-Gulf oil blowout that still bedevils the livelihoods and health of the good people of the Gulf Coast region.
In addition, US Secondary Moon has this year conjoined US natal and Progressed Neptune as well which adds more misery and confusion, and lengthens and intensifies the dissolving effects of Neptune-to-US-natal-Moon transit such as we see with this year's revelation of robo-signed foreclosures, etc. (See sidebar link to John Townley's article on Neptune afflicting America's natal chart, or simply click here.)
Certainly other transits and progressions are playing their parts as well - some positive and helpful, some adding to our woes - but these four are proving massive enough to steal most of the cake from our economy, job market, and dinner tables. (Let them eat GM corn?)
4. the next planetary influence on my austerity list has to be: US Saturn Return, a drawn out three-fer this time, and in progress as I type (14Lib48: Dec 3, 2010, Mar 22, 2011 Rx, Aug 28, 2011.) Accountability is one of Saturn's dearest lessons and perhaps the fresh release from WikiLeaks of docs from the 'diplomatic' community gives an example of such a lesson sorely needed by the US government.
Yes, a return to realism and sanity is definitely indicated during a Saturn Return, and imho, the vision of a one-world-government ruled by the US needs to be abandoned once and for all - even though I believe our nation and people have already been sacrificed on the altar of that agenda.
Our Loss of Illusions
Though transiting Saturn conjoined US natal Neptune only once on August 27, 2009 (this time around in Saturn's 29/30 year cycle), the hit was apparently strong enough given other circumstances and weaknesses.
Around that date and ever since, the Saturnian word austerity rings from Capitol Hill and across the nation and threatens more sacrifice and loss for those tottering upon the bottom rungs of society - with some Americans newly ensconced upon the bottom rungs since the grossly wealthy Oilcan Harrys of the world are having their financial way with those whom they perceive to be their underlings while corporate titans fail to create US jobs - no matter how big or extended the fatcats' tax breaks become. ('Demand' follows paychecks, fellas!)
Yes, Saturn-to-natal-Neptune can mean a dream (Neptune) coming true (Saturn) yet in our financial condition it has brought us its 'grim face of reality' vibe with a huge splash of Saturn's cold water upon the idea of 'jobs coming back'.
Plus, the phrase austerity (Saturn) cuts (Mars) implicates the planet of quarrels and war in the dire picture as well, and many people (self included) think that slashing US war expenditures would be highly beneficial for our national budget. For US tax payers to continue funding security for all of Europe seems ridiculously laughable, and now is financially undo-able.

Yes, I too wish Alex Jones would remove the bullhorn from in front of his mouth and calm down so that more people would take his words and warnings seriously. For like most people, I don't respond well to someone shouting at me and am convinced that the info gets through to my pea brain a lot more efficiently when a measured case using lower decibels is made!
And President Obama's announcement of a two-year pay freeze for government workers? It would dovetail nicely and make more economic difference if Washington willingly added a two-year (or permanent) pay cut for all congress members, something that Rep. Marcy Kaptur called for months ago.
To close this austerity-laced post, here's a relevant bit of Franklin D. Roosevelt's Inaugural speech of Jan 20, 1937:
"The test of our progress is not whether we add more to the abundance of those who have much; it is whether we provide enough for those who have too little."

Campaign donors to Congress, Pluto opposite US n Sun
With November midterm 2010 upon us in short order, Mother Jones has published a helpful Campaign Cash Seating Chart showing who owns Congress, House and Senate.
An interesting example is Rep. Joe Barton (R-TX), the toadie who apologized to BP (poor things!) after the Deepwater Horizon disaster. One of Barton's primary donors is Anadarko Petroleum, owner of 25% of BP's...wait for it...Deepwater Horizon well.
You know this is the sort of thing that belongs in SO'W's How can they think no one notices? file. The sad part is, before going to polling booths across the country on November 2, will anyone care which industries and corporations they're voting for?
Caution: if you vote (and I hope you will - though if everyone decides to stay home I can do that, too, to send a message - but it must be everyone) on November 2, you will be voting for skunks, crooks, vermin, varmints, shills, and bandits. If a decent person slips through and ends up on Capitol Hill, they will soon be disabused of the notion that anything fundamental can change about Washington DC politics because entrenched power politicians won't allow their cushy positions to be lost - and they play for keeps. Though some incumbents have already dropped out rather than face who-knows-what (blackmail for some distant sin?), there are plenty of them still skulking about the halls of power with string pullers making sure they stay in place in order to promote the globalists' bigger picture.
Yet transiting Pluto in Capricorn may have other ideas which disenfranchise America if she doesn't play globalist ball.
The next transition brought to us by secret manipulator Pluto, the planet of 'powerful forces' is lining up now and will first hit US natal Jupiter by opposition on January 17, 2011 (Sibly chart.) Pluto opposing natal Jupiter indicates a period when our economic status is not favored. We may not know who or what stands in our way (mysterious Pluto in Capricorn, sign of the olde countrie) yet whatever has truly been achieved cannot be destroyed...it's the wispy wealth that exists only on paper or in a cyberland cloud which may disappear with a touch of Pluto's magician's wand.
Pluto opposing natal Jupiter, planet of money and abundance, brings obstacles to progress as well and there's little to be done toward improvement. This is a know when to hold 'em transit of subdued aspirations, something our Jupiter-ruled nation has trouble accepting, and it relates not just to finances but to politics, higher education (Pres. Obama is already touting community colleges and I believe he's correct about their practicality for job hunters), religion, and other 9th house matters where Pluto intends to fight for control of our minds - America is the only nation to be founded upon 'an idea' after all.
Adding to the complexity, the plutonian processes of destructuring and transformation will be ongoing during our nation's Saturn Return which begins in short order: December 3, 2010, March 22, 2011, and August 28, 2011...2011 contains both these difficult transits involving Saturn and Pluto. The most positive thing I know to say about this cruel pair (Saturn and Pluto) is that they can signify an adept or a magician - and that's assuming either archetype has positive motivations.
So beware schemes of expansion in 2011. Whatever you have, perhaps you should be content to keep it. I will if you will.
Also of concern in the realm of politics is the upcoming opposition of Pluto to US natal Sun (the leader) - a few years off, yet part of Pluto's travails into Capricorn which will result in America's Pluto Return 27Cap33 before slow-moving Pluto enters Aquarius.

Will a president attempt to stand up to this world domination agenda? Interesting that America was billed in olden days by Sir Francis Bacon and others as The New Atlantis and as you know, the asteroid Atlantis is used in Mundane Astrology to represent, among other things, abuse of power and a feeling of doom. And nothing can change the fact that in 1776, Pluto was posited in Capricorn, a sign and archetype whose pan pipes even now seem to be wafting an orpheic tune upon the breeze as reap-what's-sown karma readies in the wings for a starring role on the world stage.

BP to take almost $10 billion in US tax cuts
Can BP head Tony Hayward leave any sooner than October 1, 2010?
Too late, for BP has decided to take nearly $10 billion in US tax credits to offset the costs of cleaning up and compensating the Gulf Coast due to the BP Deepwater Horizon blowout and its subsequent environmental disaster extraordinaire.
Besides the raw audacity of this tax credit move, its brazenness points out to me how big corporations hold all the cards on their side (with the US government's collusion) for even when industrial titans seem poised on the verge of paying up fairly for their wrongs, transgressions, and cost-saving neglect they can always pull a legal rabbit out of a privileged and silken top hat...perhaps the one they wore last to the yacht races.
Why, it's almost another form of corporate welfare, isn't it? What a sneaky way of transferring corporate costs incurred by their own hand onto the backs of US taxpayers!
And it will be interesting to see if our hallowed US Congress can - or will - move an exalted muscle (so weakened is Congress by executive privilege encroachments these last few years) to do a single, practical thing about BP's tax dodge.
But that's with camera ops and long-winded grandstanding notwithstanding, of course.

Senator Nelson on the BP Oil fiasco (video); Hidalgo will return
Here Senator Bill Nelson speaks about reports of oil seeping from the Gulf of Mexico seabed and the possibility that BP's well casing may be pierced.
Today asteroid Eros (a piercing) is @ 13Vir18, Panacea (is the newly positioned 'tight-fitting ' cap but a panacea?) 29Vir17, a critical degree conjunct Saturn, planet of delay and restriction, and Hidalgo 23Sco09 is Rx indicating that this rebellious asteroid of power will be returning to its position in the April 20, 2010 blowout chart (ASC 1Sag23) where it arose a few minutes before 10:00 pm edt, the stated time that explosions and fire erupted.

And yes, I do still think it is significant to this ongoing Gulf Coast environmental disaster that asteroid Hidalgo is named after the Priest Miguel Hidalgo who rang the church bell to signal the start of the Mexican Revolution on September 15, 1810.
Actually, the situation reminds me as well of the proposals made in the Zimmerman telegram, a coded communique in which Germany proposed the winning back of Texas, New Mexico, and Arizona on behalf of Mexico. The telegram's perfectly timed exposure was one factor that led the US into WWI, so we see that the same ruses and propaganda tactics are still being used to emotionally rally and intrigue Americans into fighting wars that common sense and further reflection would advise us to stay out of.

But underneath it all, it's about this: our culture's excruciatingly dangerous claim to have such complete understanding and command over nature that we can radically manipulate and re-engineer it with minimal risk to the natural systems that sustain us.

'Distraught' Hayward to Capitol Hill June 17, 2010
Now you know I generally if sacastically appreciate the mummery that passes for Congress 'doing the people's business' which is the M.O. of our Capitol Hill Theater Productions of Washington, DC.
But today's performance by BP CEO Tony Hayward, his congressional enablers, and false opponents should perhaps be nominated for the Brave New World Award, if there is one, in the Best New Shakedown category.
That's why I've sassily placed a freshly penned limerick A Cat So Distraught on my political cat limerick blog and added a few astro-details on this morning's proceedings which interestingly included a woman standing up in back, her hands blackened, and shouting loudly at the 'distraught' Mr. Hayward who still, it is assumed, wishes he had his life back.

It's an Hour of Mercury 11Tau44 in 6th house, and the Gulf oil 'spill' is at the chart's base (Neptune/Chiron.)
The Sun 6Gem33 highlights Pan 6:37, a trickster element indicating such things as 'panels', 'panics', and possible mystical doings. Yes, the President has set up yet another panel (committee), this time to study the BP-Gulf oil disaster - meanwhile, the people of the Gulf Coast panic from threat to their livelihoods and homes.
But as you know, Jupiter, left behind in late Pisces by quirky Uranus, will catch up for their Great Conjunction on June 8, 2010 (00Ari18) but until then, it's Uranus = AP, an historical marker for 'scientific breakthrough', a term which has already been in the news in recent weeks with synthetic cell creation and other Frankensteinian happenings and explorations (Mt. Everest topping.)
BP's amazing plume cam seems part of Uranus = AP to me for it's as if we're watching the First Moon Landing all over again but 5 miles down on the seabed! As in: on the Moon, ocean = Cancer, ruled by the Moon, etc.
What we need is for Uranus to inspire a brilliant solution for the BP-Gulf oil disaster but perhaps it will take Jupiter's presence on June 8 or later for that to occur especially since both charts (Full Moon and Uranus = AP) show creative genius Uranus separating from aspects with two exceptions: its application to conjoin lucky Jupiter, and secret controller Pluto 4Cap49 Rx and Uranus apply to their titanic square (4A49.)
