Today's Saturn Rx Station Times House of Reps on Recess All Week

At 12:02:16 pm today, stationing Saturn changes to retrograde motion at 11Sco31:34, in 6th house of the horoscope when set for Capitol Hill. This seems descriptive of current actions and non-actions in Washington politics for Saturn, ruler of Capricorn, sees over government, lawmaking, law, and business.

With the brouhaha Republican are now making over a mysterious leak of the White House's Immigration 'Backup' Plan and its alleged "smoking out" of Senator Marco Rubio (who has attempted to 'own' the issue yet now must balk because the president's name is on it), we find that Congress, Republicans and Tea Partiers in particular, to be acting in bad form with their accustomed ill grace toward a Democratic president who dares to be of a different race. They simply will not work with him and who doesn't know it? Apparently the heat became too much for tender-eyed Speaker John Boehner so that he felt a need to call a week-long recess for this week in the middle of serious issues which cry out for resolution.

According to the official House website, the House's first item of business upon returning to Capitol Hill next week will be a hearing on the state of the rural economy on February 26, 2013.

All in all, the GOP charade of pique is meant to further undermine the American people's trust in Congress and the White House and from what people tell me, it's working quite well. Or at least, it's 'working' much better than the Republicans are working at doing the people's business. And it's almost amusing that in recent months a transiting Saturn-Pluto sextile of opportunity (60 degrees) has been in effect and was and will be the base of a YOD pattern of special task/crisis/turning point implications pointing toward moneybags Jupiter (re-forming in March) but for today's Saturn Station Rx, the Saturn-Pluto pair point toward the Moon @9Gem27 (We the People) in the 12th house of Politics, Karma, Self-Undoing, and Large Institutions at 12:02:18 pm est.

Thus a midpoint picture is created in relation to Saturn's inward-turning condition which contains certain potentials for manifestation--all, any, or none may apply:

Saturn-Pluto = Moon: renunciation; giving up giving; frigidity; tragic destiny of a woman (check current news events for murders and suicides of women); strong control over people's habits; inconsistencies in work, achievements, or records. (Ebertin; Tyl; Munkasey.)

Sec of State John Kerry: a 'new world order' (video)

There's a 'higher' agenda and has been for many years in Washington DC about creating a 'new world order' or as some call it, a 'new world economic order'. We saw evidence with the attacks of 9/11/01 and Financial Collapse 2008.

Since I didn't bother to watch Senator Kerry's recent (certain) confirmation hearing for Secretary of State, I missed his repeated reference to a 'new world order' and the fact that he actually cited a book authored by a war criminal (and fellow perpetrator of war criminal Richard Nixon), one Henry Kissinger.

I hereby remedy my neglectful omission of Senator Kerry's draconian remarks:

It seems that John Kerry didn't learn anything useful after all about lying us into war from his stint in Vietnam. Or, he willingly succumbed to 'playing the game' in Washington in order to get ahead and receive plum assignments for his Skull'n'Bones self. After serving in the war, Kerry's famous testimony about who wants to be the "last man in Vietnam," etc, was probably more for future political maneuvering than high ideals, or so I've suspected for a long time. (I watched him on TV the day he gave his testimony to a Congress full of warmongers and agreed with his lofty rhetoric. But I was younger and more gullible then...constant lies from my government through the years have cured the condition.)

So now he's getting his 'dream job' of Secretary of State, the one he's prepared for all his life, some say. With Jupiter's Direct Station @6Gem19 on January 30, 2013, this hope is realized with Jupiter conjoining Kerry's natal Uranus 6Gem20 Rx--in natal 6th house of Work and Jobs (plus, the 6th H is Cadent = preparation.) Transit Jupiter will proceed to conjoin his natal Mars @10Gem36 Rx (6th H), move into 7th H from 6th H and hit his natal Moon, then natal Saturn @23Gem30 Rx. Here's a brief summary though other effects are in the mix such as tr Jupiter opposite n Sun and trine n Neptune 4Lib04 at MC 5Lib39:

Jupiter to n Uranus = political and financial expansion succeeds; Jupiter to n Mars = work success, favored in competition, dynamic energy and force but should avoid overconfidence for best results; Jupiter to m Moon = emotional satisfaction, popularity, and a higher social status; Jupiter to n Saturn = burdens are eased, hard work and patience merit success and recognition, authority is rewarded.

For a view of John Kerry's natal horoscope with details visit his astrodatabank page although his birth time is rated C for 'accuracy in question'. Yet his Sun 18Sag40 (rising) and Moon 17Gem31 (setting) seem to be the correct Sun-Moon blend, so we find a man of creative Fire and mental Air who is versatile, inventive, intellectual, and sociable. Good at giving practical advice, he's less able to deal with emotions, and can be tactless and short-tempered when things don't suit him. (Who isn't?)

A natural spokesperson, Senator Kerry is famously long-winded often doubling back on himself while speaking though he doesn't seem quite as bad about circuitous expression as he once did. (Plus, I have a young relative with a Gemini Moon who is very chatty and can talk in paragraphs without taking a breath!) President Obama has natal Moon in communicative Gemini as well and is known for his rhetorical talent (but with natal Sun in Leo.)

Yet there is a caution with Sun Sag-Moon Gemini which is a tendency to spread oneself too thin and not finish projects. May setting up perpetual war to establish a draconian 'new world order' of totalitarian global government be one of those projects.

Spring Equinox 2013 (Aries Ingress) Shows Moon Rising with Betelgeuse

Below is an image of the Spring EQ 2013 horoscope set for the White House, Washington DC. Sun enters Mars-ruled Aries 00:00:00 at 7:02 am edt on March 20, 2013 during a Venus Hour and in 1st house; oriental Venus (rising before the Sun) shows that 'valuable things' are to be dealt with but with the abundant Piscean energy in the chart (Venus, Chiron, Mercury, and Neptune) there may be spiritual and moral matters on Washington's Spring agenda, plus, war, deception, confusion, and obfuscation in the mix:

The last lunation, aka the Syzygy Moon, @21 Pis24 has just arisen so conditions at the New Moon of March 11 (3:51 pm edt--and the Moon became VOC) are in play relating to a new cycle beginning 9 days prior to Spring EQ 2013.

ASC 24Pis18 makes Jupiter chart-ruler (and Spring 2013 ruler!) along with sub-ruler Neptune and of course you know that the Jupiter-Neptune pair relates to spiritual matters but also to speculation, fraud, waste, and grand schemes. Perhaps a few of the conditions now in review (Iraq War, financial fraud) will be on Washington DC's menu due to the people's insistence (Moon conjunct Mirzam: 'to have one's say'--click chart to enlarge for more astro-notes and US natal planets scribbled around the outside of the horoscope.)

As chart-ruler it is important to note Jupiter's applying inconjuncts to Saturn and Pluto for this trio forms a YOD (special task, crisis, turning point, spiritual opportunity) which we saw in the Winter Solstice 2012 horoscope and which has re-constellated with Direct Jupiter in 2013.

However, there is a very positive aspect between societal planet Saturn and Neptune (the masses, the media)--a trine indicating compulsion to make positive changes and reforms to negative social conditions. This trine is applying due to Saturn's Rx condition and is part of a Kite pattern with the Moon as the tail. As you know, Kites add an extra planet (or more) to a closed circuit of energy, a Grand Trine, and since this is a Water trine, the protective, creative, and spiritual qualities of a trine are indicated. The Lunar tail gives the closed circuit of Saturn, Pluto, and Mercury-Chiron an outlet for the expression of these energies.

The hotheaded, intense combo of Mars and Uranus are rising as well with Mars ruling 8th house of Debt, Credit, Insurance, Corporations, Death, etc (8th cusp 6Sco28), though Mars' sign Aries is frustratingly intercepted in 1st house. As far as issues such as explosions, war, rebellion, and such the upcoming Pisces energies must be dealt with first but this is no comfort since the US government is in the very bad habit of lying us into war and conflict--and lies relate to sneaky Pisces. With Venus denoting 'valuable things' and evaluations, money matters continue to be below-board and not quite as they appear.

And with austerity-lover Saturn Rx in 8th house of Big Money, win-by-stealth obstructionist lawmakers remain a problem for America's progress, legislatively and otherwise. However, this Equinox Moon is happy in her own sign of Cancer in her own 4th house of Domestic Scene and Real Estate though whether Luna will bring positive or negative fluctuations will depend on many factors. Moon opposing 10th house Pluto 11Cap26 denotes promises to end waste and/or war and a potential for misuse of available resources in business. Rage may be indicated as well along with propagandistic manipulation and major PR campaigns.

Well, apparently there are many secret deals being made behind the scenes (Mercury conjunct Neptune in 12th house of Politics, Karma, Self-Undoing, and Large Institutions) which relate, of course, to Piscean things such as war, oil, gas, water, alcohol and other drugs, oceans, undersea exploration, and such so keep your eye on the Spring Equinox 2013 horoscope as planets transit EQ planets and chart angles, events unfold, and secrets are revealed--or leaked.

And though US war criminals will never see the inside of a prison cell as they should, it would be poetic justice if all who profited from this war whether in weaponry production, oil, gas, contract work, or antiquities had to pay back the billions of dollars that US tax payers were scammed into financing for this neocon quixotic money-making endeavor that has needlessly taken or maimed so many lives.

Plus, in the Iraq War's misty Water-Air blend of Sun Pisces-Moon Libra we find negative traits such as 'holding unrealistic ideals by which you live and evaluate others' and a 'tendency to rationalize and believe what is most pleasant and expedient' (Sun Sign-Moon Sign, Charles & Suzi Harvey.)

"Greeted as liberators"? (liar Cheney of the '1% Gang'); flowers in gun barrels?; "a cakewalk"? WMD? Puh!!!

March 2013: Dec 2012 YOD re-forms with apex Jupiter

March 2013 a Minefield of Crisis or Opportunity?

On March 1, 2013, the sequestration cuts (aka, seizure of funds) is to take place as I suspect certain political and other actors meant for it to do all along. The military budget cuts are touted by many in the media and on Capitol Hill as a dire situation which will make our nation "less safe" while the Republican Party has its gleeful knives out, for at last! the social safety net programs put in place by FDR and LBJ (both Democratic presidents, of course) will finally be decimated if 'all goes well' for the sour puss GOP.

Sequestration relates back to the 'Super Committee' whose deadline for coming up with intelligent cuts and changes to the US budget failed to take shape by November 23, 2011 and so we have automatic 'sequestration' (austerity's handmaiden) to look forward to in March 2013 as domestic and military spending are reduced in an unprecedented fashion. Apparently Capitol Hill's wastrel ways, thievery, embezzlement, and heisting of our national treasury along with Wall Street and real estate fraud and lack of income tax payments due to unemployed or underemployed Americans have all take huge bites out of government coffers.

So as you know, the half-Republican, half-Democrat 'Super Committee' was marked by a 14 North Solar Eclipse @2Sag37 on November 25, 2011 with its 'a peculiar turn of events' and 'an acute time of confusion/unexpected happenings in finance' themes (Brady.)

Jupiter: the Banker, Republican, Judge, Guru, and/or Investor

When discussing larger amounts of money and the concepts of investment and growth, we look to planet Jupiter which turned Rx on Oct 4, 2012 @16Gem22, Stationed Direct @6Gem19 on January 30, 2013, and will move past his shadow (Rx) degree the third week of April 2013 as he heads for Cancer (good!) You may remember that Mr. Moneybags was involved as the apex (focal) planet in a disturbing YOD pattern along with the Saturn-Pluto sextile in the Winter Solstice 2012 horoscope.

Well, thanks to Jupiter's retrogradation period into 2013, the problematic YOD (special task, crisis, critical turning point, spiritual opportunity, etc) faded but now we find it re-constellating due to Jupiter's forward movement and the fact that conservative Saturn and wealthy manipulator Pluto remain in sextile (Scorpio to Capricorn.)

March 10, 2013: a Symbolic 'First Moment' Horoscope

The horoscope you see below (if you're on-site!) is set for March 10, 2013 on Capitol Hill at the first minute that one side of the YOD pattern re-forms--the Jupiter-Pluto inconjunct (150 degrees)--with Jupiter reaching 8Gem48 (2A29.) This also means that the recurring Jupiter-to-US-natal-Uranus (8Gem55) transit is in force so the YOD with Saturn-Pluto at its base has two planets to pressurize just as in the Winter Solstice 2012 horoscope though Saturn and Pluto have advanced to 11th degrees. Another difference, of course, is that March 2013 will be a busy month in Washington and Jupiter is now direct and can trigger the 2012 YOD into action.

Horoscope: March 10, 2013 3:32 pm edt Capitol Building Washington DC

Hour Venus (15Pis53) posited within a full 8th house of Debt, Credit, Shared Finances, Corporations, Legacies, etc. Venus is exalted in Pisces due to her sympathetic nature being brought out on a Higher Plane and she inspires creativity yet over-indulgence and extravagance with money may also be noted.

Chart-ruler (ASC 7Leo43 conjunct US natal NN) is the Sun @20Pis23, also in 8th house as are Neptune, Moon, and Chiron, all in mystical Pisces. However, 8th cusp = 28AQ58 which makes Saturn and Uranus determinates of such a busy if confused or deceptive 8th house of Corporate and other Finances and ties in the YOD energies thanks to Saturn in Scorpio.

Saturn-Pluto = Jupiter: religious and social fanaticism (Ebertin): trouble with authority; adopting the austere; trying to save what's left (Tyl.)

Saturn-Pluto = natal Uranus: decisions made under difficult circumstances; sudden acts of violence (Ebertin); brutal efforts to start a new order; an attack, regardless of potential losses (Tyl); (like sudden sequester cuts? other? jc.)

Enough to Worry About?

So besides Spring Equinox 2013 (Aries Ingress) on March 20th, the horoscope of which also contains the YOD, during the last week of March 2013, transit Jupiter will move closer in orb to perfecting the YOD configuration (11Gem29 on March 29th.) This naturally places tr Jupiter on US natal Descendant (Sibly chart) of Partnerships and Open Enemies, and the Saturn-Pluto midpoint on America's natal Ascendant, a picture which encapsulates much of the financial and social potentials for loss, cruelty, hardship, and melancholy under which our 'lurching from crisis to crisis' government has been play-acting against us as benefit cuts threaten those who can ill afford them and a re-recession looms over our heads.

The picture also details the suffering and grief the American people are sustaining through Congress' haphazard way of governing and our nation's loss of public status as the GOP embarrasses itself one more time and 'attacks regardless of potential losses'.

Yes, everyone wants to blame Tea Party congress members and their billionaire backers for gumming up Congress with obstructionist tactics against a Democratic president yet I must blame them all (save two or three Democrats and perhaps an Independent or two.) The Republican Party could do better if it wanted to, imho, and this isn't the first time they've behaved like royal jacka*ses to force their old timey agenda and implement their long term dream of ripping apart our social fabric.

So! You may wish to set up charts if you haven't to check out the Moon-Saturn conjunction @10Sco17 (2:12 pm edt--our clocks move ahead one hour on March 10 @ 2:00 am) on March 29th @ 2:12 pm edt for Luna conjunctions work well as a timing device. In fact, the last days of March show two, three, even four YODs of crisis/turning points forming if you'd care to have a peek at what's coming at us. Things won't be easy even if 'lawmakers' were behaving aboveboard!

Defacing 'Liberty Leading the People'

Here in Georgia another major storm system is due but before the electric symphony begins I want to provide a link concerning the recent defacement in the Louvre of Delacroix's painting Liberty Leading the People.

A "sign of the times"? Oh yes, says a prominent astrologer.

Yet this American 'Child of the Revolution' may find herself identifying with the apparent cynicism of the woman who defaced the painting if that's what she was about especially considering the political anarchy now being perpetrated upon the people, both here and abroad. But as an artist with four natal planets in Capricorn, it would never occur to me to deface any painting, no matter its theme!

Still, it isn't as if Lady Liberty showed her best side during the French Revolution, now is it?
