The US Congress Eclipse repeats in 2023!

Do you know that the First Session of Congress in 1789 began under the influences of a 7 North Solar Eclipse?

And that since April 2023, an eclipse in the 7 North Saros Series is running in the background of society as I type, and is also the Prenatal Solar Eclipse Series ('PE") of Special Prosecutor Jack Smith?

August 2023 Horoscope: Uranus turns Rx

On display in today's post are two DC Horoscopes:

First, the August 28, 2023 Uranus Station @23Tau04, then a view of the 7 South Solar Eclipse of October 14, 2023 @21Lib07 with its angry, powerful 'Mars-Pluto square' influences issuing from 7 South's initial manifestation of June 22, 1248 @8Can03. This is the position of Trump's natal Mercury (spotlighting his irrationality), and you'll notice that 8Can01 also happens to be the position of Astraea ('justice') in the 6th house of the October 2023 Eclipse Horoscope.

So by this and other chart factors we know that the planets in both horoscopes, set for Washington DC, relate to current events in the US, events and conditions that include disruptive Uranus and its association with fanatics, anarchists, rebels, and radical politicians, along with the Midterms 2022 Lunar Eclipse @16Taurus conjunct Uranus with its 'swords vs torches' symbolism which points toward the maga politicians who just barely managed to take over the House of Representatives. Also implicated by rebellious Uranus are the GOP's racist followers, seditionists, and comrades-in-arms.

Then prominent in the Eclipse chart, you'll see the implications of Pluto square the Eclipse (which is also US 1776 Pluto squaring the lunation), and Uranus inconjunct the Eclipse with its radical vibes of disruption, assault, and shock ability.

The accuracy rating for the natal horoscope of Republican politician Ted Cruz is only a C since the hour of his birth is in question. Most often, 1:00 am MST (December 22, 1970 Calgary, Alberta: Sun @00Capricorn) is commonly used, as you can see if you follow the link. Yet another possibility is 7:34 pm, but admittedly I have no allegiance to either timing, particularly since Herr Cruz shows no allegiance to America, only fascist leanings. That he has argued cases before the US Supreme Court in the past does not an American patriot make. A Canadian by birth, Ted Cruz renounced his Canadian citizenship on May 14, 2014 and has clung to American citizenship ever since which places Cruz, the J6 coup plotter, firmly under US law.

And it may be that We the People don't actually know where Ted's true loyalties lie. Or if he has any at all.

Then way back in 2013, a post appeared on my WordPress blog, Jude's Threshold, concerning Cruz's Sun-Moon personality blend so if you're curious about a maga Republican who's revealed to be a Crusader Dueling with Shadows, you're invited to check out my astro-notes.

Meanwhile, one of lawyer Cruz's more informative natal placements to me is his legal eagle planet Saturn Rx @16Tau19 conjunct the very position of the 2022 Midterms Lunar Eclipse conjunct the radical anarchist planet, Uranus.

For Herr Cruz, this planetary contact qualifies as a Uranus-to-Saturn transit, a period when laws and rules are challenged and reevaluation and alteration are potentials which may affect the way responsibilities are handled due to the unorthodox ideas presented. Thing is, such alterations can be accomplished within The System without tearing it down.

Yet as we know, motivation is everything, and unfortunately, a motivated Ted Cruz has joined the tear-it-all-down brigade of comrades, many of whom are still feeling bu*t-hurt from losing the Civil War, a conflagration that Ted has no personal connection with, to my knowledge. And this resentful sore-loser condition has been easily manipulated by enemies of American democracy, enemies such as the vengeful Herr Putin who's known to have felt deeply resentful since the fall of the Soviet Union (Russia's 1991 horoscope is shown, below). So I must suppose that Herr Vlad feels "bu*t-hurt", too.

Then revealingly, the fascist-nazi clincher on seditionists like Cruz is the Sabian Symbol of his natal Saturn rounded-up to "17Taurus": "A Symbolical Battle Between Swords vs Torches."

So if this cosmic synchronicity of symbol plus Saturn-Uranus' old vs new order impetus reminds you of the vile tiki torch march in Charlottesville, Virginia in August 2017, then we're on the same page when it comes to white "supremacy" - so here's my question: since when are hatred, primal violence, crime, and murder signs of any kind of "supremacy"?

Today, April 20 2023, "Little Adolf," the Austrian psychopath turns 134 years old in his grave, wherever it may be. But to be more specific, his Solar Return 2023 actually perfects tomorrow, April 21, 2023 at 6:02:11 am CEDT in Berlin with his natal Sun (00Tau48) conjunct Phaethon rising (unprepared for leadership and Sun at a degree of violence).

Radical planet of anarchy, sedition, and zealotry, Uranus, rises in his 2023 Solar Return 1st house @17Tau52, one degree beyond Herr Adolf's natal Venus-Mars conjunction @16Taurus+, a planetary duo active during our Midterms 2022 Lunar Eclipse when 'maga' Republicans managed to take over the House of Representatives.

In fact, Republican Rep. Jim Jordan has been in New York City showcasing his maga efforts for Trump, and a Trump-appointed judge has handed Jordan a legal gift which only adds fuel to the orange monster's gas tank for more 'Big Lie' gas lighting ahead.

Yet none of the above are reasons for this Friday post.

What I want to share with you is that while reading about the rise of Herr Adolf, I came across the name of the media baron, industrialist, and politician who, among others, aided the Austrian's rise to power. Soon sidelined, his name is Alfred Hugenberg. Holding multiple official positions in the German government, Hugenberg helped Hitler become Chancellor on January 30, 1933, Germany's first goose-step toward Nazism. Yet Herr Hugenberg, who had studied law and economics, had lost his political clout with Hitler by the end of 1933 but continued serving as a "guest" member of the Reichstag (parliament).

And like other of Hitler's early enablers, Hugenberg miscalculated bigly that Herr Adolf would be easily controlled once in power. Might this be echoed by certain assumptions made by the Republican Party in 2015 and 2016 concerning you-know-who?

Now if the initial support of publisher Hugenberg for Hitler (until Alfred was tossed aside!) reminds you of Murdoch for Trump (until Trump turned on Fox News toward the more conducive outlets, NewsMax and OANN - while actually it was more a case of Murdoch turning against Trump for not conceding his 2020 loss) - then basically we're on the same history-rhyming page. Spring 2023 Planets return to Midterms 2022 Horoscope

When America's testy 2022 Midterm Elections were held on the very day of a Taurus Lunar Eclipse, transit Uranus, erratic planet of revolt, anarchy, chaos, disruption, separation, contrariness, and independence (and America's totem planet of revolution) clocked in at 16Tau56:48 conjunct the eclipsed Moon and opposing the Sun, and many of us felt the karmic implications heavy in the atmosphere. And it didn't take knowledge of Astrology to feel the significance of the day.

Rounded up to "17 Taurus," many folks found that the Sabian Symbol for Uranus described the 'maga' and far-right (aka, far-reich) Republicans and militiamen thugs of vigilantism determined that every 2022 Midterm Election would go their way: "A Symbolical Battle Between 'Swords' and 'Torches'" which conjures images of tiki torches and neo-Nazi marches. In this scenario, The Establishment must be the 'swords' in the democracy vs fascism battle. See the chart, upper right, for US 1776 Saturn rising opposed and thus challenged by the April 3/4 Sun in Aries (opponents in leadership positions, plus, 'sloppy work is unacceptable').

Yet as we know, in November 2022 the House of Representatives somehow did manage to turn Republican although it was not a red wave as they'd hoped. Even so, we now watch 'maga' antics on Capitol Hill as they disrupt, sabotage, and degrade the US Congress with foolish legal situations and a clown car atmosphere of mockery, deception, and incompetence - with all the drama performed on behalf of a despotic, fascist cult of personality, and not for the sake of our democratic Republic at all.

Besides, "own the libs" style news clips must be performed and harvested for far-right TV shows, click bait, and 2024 campaign ads!

Midterms 2022 Chart Hit by Mars and Uranus in 2023

So, remembering the dangerous Mars-Uranus Conjunction @6Tau44 on Inauguration Day 2021, and consulting the 2022 Midterms Horoscope of November 8, 2022, it seems significant that both Mars the warrior, arsonist, and/or activist, and Uranus the zealot, anarchist, and/or rebel return to their respective positions in the 2022 Midterm Election Horoscope as you see in the dual chart image, below.

DC Horoscopes: March 14, 2023 Mars Return @25Gem02 (lower left); April 3, 2023 Uranus Return @16Tau56 (upper right); prominent in both return charts is a fantastical midpoint picture of deception, Sun = Mercury-Neptune, as notated on the right side of the chart and highlighted in orange:

Thus, the period between and including March 14 - April 3, give or take a day or so, seems to me to be of particular concern while the 6 South Eclipse is still of influence in society, so mind how you go. Yet significantly, unpredictable Uranus can act early, on time, late - or never.

Meanwhile, for historical context regarding these chaotic, even perilous, Uranian matters affecting US elections, office holders, and the populace, a previous post tells a tale of Taurus Midterm Eclipses 2022 and 1938! because similar cosmic conditions and events are shown between 2022 and 1938 when Republicans made gains in the House and the Senate by promoting their anti-FDR policies and rhetoric. Now as you know, on the financial level, GOP-ers continue to use similar arguments and gaslighting, with the same goal of collapsing our social safety net and heisting the money, but one can always hope that a majority of Americans now realize that the GOP expects them - not only to vote against their own best interests - but to hand control of the helm of state to an autocratic dictator pushing more of the far-reich's hateful, brutal policies and sadistic laws than we've so far seen.

Therefore, We the People must do everything possible to toss such anti-societal traitors into the dustbin of history to wallow with their cruel idols of the 1930s and 1940s.

But tell me: am I being too subtle? Because there's a theme of tragedy herein via a major cosmic signpost which must be noted: that the Lunar Eclipse of 1938 @15Taurus occurred two days prior to the Nazi bloodbath, aka, "the night of broken glass" - Kristallnacht. Are magaites and their vigilantes brewing up another storm? Well, think of the current House of Representatives and its 'maga' gun lovers lurking there as they pretend to "lead" in the legislative branch of government that they and their thugs attempted to overthrow by violent coup on January 6, 2021.

So if the tired old phrases, What's wrong with this picture? and What could possibly go wrong? ever applied to Washington DC politics, this must be the time.

Tragic Idea 2023: The 'Big Lie Party' in Control

After keeping up with events in Congress the last several days, and now that we've seen the disfunction in the House of Representatives, I took a look at a previous post, Midterm 2022 Planets to US Congress Horoscope and found reflections of the chaos and danger of far-right Republican anti-governing tactics intended to neuter and hobble, not just congressional Democrats and the Biden administration, but to undermine the authority of the legislative branch of the US government itself. Basically, the Republican take-over of the House, thanks to finagled outcomes of Midterms 2022 elections, is a forwarding of the coup attempt of January 6, 2021, with the orange blighter cheering on the chaos and disruption his Big Lie pretends to justify.

As erratic events proceed, Americans who have missed the importance of the so-called "clown show" now performed by congressional Republicans, may realize that this is not a game. The QAnon anti-democracy crowd, under instructions from abroad by way of Mar-a-Largo, are deadly serious about obeying Russia, China, and perhaps other dictatorships. Because for global take-over of leadership, fascist-style governments need America and democracy to fail.

So if we consider the Midterm 2022 Lunar Eclipse planets as transits to the 1789 Horoscope of the US Congress, we find the November 2022 Eclipse @16Taurus conjunct radical anarchist planet of zealotry, Uranus squaring 1789 Pluto 18AQ32 which reveals ruthless behavior and criminal activities - and this with Midterms 2022 Saturn 18AQ46 directly hitting 1789 Pluto showing abuse of power implications, power and control struggles (supported by the 6 South Solar Eclipse of October 25, 2022 with its 'taking control' theme), and past actions and mistakes becoming important to the present (exs: threats of another government shutdown by the GOP; playing fast and loose with raising the debt ceiling limit and America's credit rating coming soon - part of the GOP's 'collapse America' plan to shrink government so it can be drowned in a bathtub, as Grover Norquist said out loud). And of course, farcical Republicans intend to interfere with investigations into their own criminal and treasonous behavior by "investigating" themselves.

Now obviously, much anger and frustration can be seen within the 118th Congress and one expression of these emotions is shown by transit Mars in Gemini conjunct 1789 Moon 10Gem54 and 1789 Ascendant with wounded Chiron rising as well (Mars-Chiron: the 'sacred warrior' achetype, as Republican theocrats imagine themselves to be), but perhaps Chiron's function as a blindspot describes the party's delusional plans more aptly as they gaslight the American public ad nauseum.

Then with 1789 Venus 22AQ04 squared by transit Uranus in Taurus, we find unorthodox alliances, potential relationship break-ups, unanticipated obstacles, erratic financial concerns - all of which have and will turn up as their chaos, anti-societal rules, and wastes of money plans proceed (bogus investigations are expensive in more ways than one). Incendiary possibilities, unpredictable events, more relationship troubles, and even a potential for disruption by a crowd are denoted by transit Uranus square 1789 Mars 29AQ04, and all playing out at the 1789 Midheaven of the US Congress.

History Rhymes with Similar Yet Possibly Different Conditions and Outcomes. Midterms 2022 is society's opportunity to deal more effectively with social events such as elections for House and Senate that will determine our country's future direction toward a civilized society or a barbaric one. Once again, America's social safety net is in jeopardy from a greedy wealthy elite class with austerity for the masses and major thievery on their agenda. How will you vote this time around?

As you see, similar conditions existed during our 1938 Midterm Elections with FDR in the White House and H*tler in Germany - as well as for our Midterms 2022 in a couple of days (November 8, 2022). Both elections carry cosmic signatures of Moon-Uranus (emotional tension; mood changes; anti-societal people) conjunct the karmic Nodal Axis - in 1938 Moon-Uranus conjunct South Node ('the tail of the dragon') while in 2022 the pair conjoins North Node, a Jupiterian influence. You'll note the bottom of the chart with Saturn @18AQ48 in 4th house of Endings - in humanitarian Aquarius - for the karmic planet of responsibility, accountability, and legalities looks ready to limit Republican gains in 2022, although naturally, much frustration and rebelliousness will result. Obviously, recounts and worse may occur, just as everyone expects.

Even so, significant for democracy which is "on the ballot" this year, the asteroid of democracy, Ceres, is retrograde ('Rx') in 1938 (large gains in House and Senate by Republicans who were anti-FDR policies and still are) with 1938 Ceres conjunct the separative, disruptive Uranus-SN conjunction (see middle right side of the chart for Uran-SN highlighted in green), while in 2022 the situation is differently poised with Ceres moving Direct @16Vir27 ('17Virgo' = "A Volcano in Eruption" - Vote Blue!). You may also wish to see lower right for 2022's voting Mercury conjunct South Node denoting "ideas behind (fascism; dictatorship) or ahead of their time (progressive policies), and/or support for ideas is hard to find." Old timey fascism or nazism? Or karmic progress?

And so I shall depend on 2022's Sun-Mercury conjunction and the 'common sense' it supplies to make the rational choice for democracy and thereby safeguard the future of America for our children by rejecting the barbaric death cult knocking once again on America's door. So one more time for America I say:

Vote Blue for democracy, Vote Blue to Save America.

Trump A Snake But Not Symbolized By The Caduceus

On Friday just past, former aide to VP Pence, Marc Short, called Trump's claim of declassifying government intelligence documents just by thinking about it "absurd", something that folks tethered to reality already knew.

Mercury-Neptune Square: Delusion and Deception

Seldom if ever can one planet, planetary pair, or aspect undergird an expression of planetary energies that fully explain an individual's behavior so although Trump's Mercury (thinking-planning-communicating) square Neptune (unreality-confusion-instability) says much about his misperception, lack of discrimination, and odd notions, there's more deception to be found.

Why, one's sign of natal Uranus reveals much about behavior and with Trump's chaotic Uranus in mutable Gemini we see the duplicity, multiplicity, communicating ability (including passing on and making news), the 'voices in his head' effect, plus, the commercial and deal-making interests of the orange fellow. Of course, we know that motivation is everything yet Gemini is also the sign of a mind flitting about from one thought to another, and Trump's imagined "magical thinking" also relates to Mercury's magic wand in the form of the Caduceus.

Bizarrely, his supporters think he's a healer of America even in the midst of his anti-American fascist and nazi leanings! So expectably, Herr T's Neptune-Chiron-Jupiter trio complicitly plays along with his fantasy world for the sake of financial and political power, and suggests that his joy in fooling people into following him over a cliff is like some medieval pied piper - a childish man-baby Peter Pan, one of the never-grow-up Geminian archetypes. It is my belief that children are not safe around him - perhaps they're too honest and see through whatever facade he's sporting that day.

Potent POTUS Magic? You Must Be Joking!

So on yet another astrological level, let's ascribe a major part of such visionary 'declassification' nonsense from Herr Trump (a monarch in his own mind) to his airy Jupiter-Neptune conjunction in Libra posited in his natal 2nd house (of possessions!), a planetary pair which happens to have wounded-wounding centaur Chiron of blindspot fame, snuggly within its bubbly midst. Of course, 2nd house is also the realm of money and earning ability, a major interest of transactional Herr Trump who has, or intended to, sell the purloined documents he squirreled away at Mar-a-Lago to the highest bidder (my belief), foreign and/or domestic, as a lucrative moneymaking opportunity - also good for blackmailing purposes. In fact, many cats may already be out of their secret bags. If only investigators could follow the money.

So What's Barack Obama Got To Do With It?

Now if you're reading Stars Over Washington at this moment, then you probably remember that 2022 is a year of a Great Conjunction of Jupiter and Neptune which perfected in the mystical sign of Pisces in April 2022. Here's a post from May just passed showing the Jupiter-Neptune Conjunction of April 12, 2022 along with the third of three such conjunctions of December 2009 in the planets' approximately 13-year cycle. Of significance in 2009, Jupiter-Neptune landed upon America's Aquarian Moon (in US charts set for July 4, 1776) and the potentials contained within the midpoint picture thus created certainly rang true for the time:

"Little sense of reality; desire to dream; tendency to lose oneself in plan; speculation, instability, wastefulness" (R. Ebertin). Political conflicts are also part of the bubbly pair's realm, as are scandals, religious interference, hyposcrisy as policy, ethics based on payoffs and favors ("do me a favor though"), foolish or unfounded legal situations, and/or degradation in systems of justice (M. Munkasey).

You may also remember that those were the "dreamy Obama-rock star" days with President Obama's natal Mars (motivation, energy, action) @22Vir34 completely veiled and glamorized by US 1776 Neptune. 2022 Midterms Eclipse a Mars-Pluto Affair

Viewing the 6 South Solar Eclipse of October 25, 2022 - the influential Prenatal Eclipse of Midterms 2022 - through the lens of 6 South's initial manifestation (March 6, 1049 @21Pis55 conjunct Venus: the very first 6 South in the series) yields revealing information by comparison, shown below, but since eclipse and historical cycles repeat in tandem, this also ropes in 1932's 6 South 'Nazis Rise to Power' Eclipse (see center of the bi-wheel for notes).

Yes, I've been forewarning about these cosmic time links here on SO'W for years and today I'm trying a new way via horoscopes to show how volatile a situation America is in because the 2022 Midterms are just around the corner - and voting is a must if we wish to retain democracy in America!

So as you see in the bi-wheel charts, the intense Mars-Pluto vibrations of power and control are involved in both eclipses but in 2022 are not only on the seditionist side but on The Establishment side as well. No, the 2022 Midterms don't suggest a peaceful period in society for there are certain to be political upheavals and turbulence before, during, and after the 2022 Midterm Elections. This is what seditionist saboteurs using the 'Big Lie' persuasion, the misogynists and abortion-deniers, and those like Trump who threaten violence, are counting on hoping to dissuade the security-minded voter (who'll let others vote to defend democracy).

Mars-Pluto Power Works in Both Directions!

Yet with the backing of the mighty Mars-Pluto forces within the US government, and those who are determined to defend democracy, the US Constitution, and our right to vote freely and fairly, We the People will prevail against authoritarian zealots who wish to set up a 1930s-style government that echoes Germany under Herr Adolf.

So I'll type it again: Vote Blue in 2022! And again in 2024.

In October 2022, the Mars-Pluto vibrations of 6 South have evolved into an inconjunct relationship of adjustment so that the oppositional forces from 1049 can be utilized on a more positive level dependent upon paticipants' motivations and careful handling. Mars-Pluto inconjunct (aka, quincunx) suggests that hard work, persistence, a revision of procedures, and diplomacy will provide the most favorable results. Fierce competition is indicated and physical activity will be necessary (exs: knocking on doors to get out the vote!; keep checking to make sure you're still registered to vote at Vote.org). Anger and intimidation come into play with the inconjunct but succumbing to fear will not bring positive outcomes.

So because of the rabid, malevolent, brutal nature of the GOP's nazi-like opposition to democracy, it seems to me that voting in the 2022 Midterms is a great opportunity for the American people to remember FDR's famous "the only thing we have to fear is, fear itself" slogan and take it to heart in the face of a Mars-Pluto-infused eclipse with themes of "being forceful, taking power" as Nazis did in 1932 under the influence of a 6 South eclipse @8Virgo08 - and this degree echoes the 19 North Solar Eclipse (@9Virgo) that influenced the 2016 Election and the 2017 Inauguration of Herr Trump which makes it a cosmic time link by degree.

Taurus the Bull of Wall Street Hosts Disruptive Uranus: Speculation; Unusual Sources of Money; Risking It All

Whenever Uranus and Pluto are in contact, it's a volatile combination of energies. Since June 2022, transit Uranus in Taurus has reached the New York Stock Exchange's Pluto in its reorganization horoscope. The timing of the NYSE 1869 horoscope I tend to use is based on the New Moon that perfected on that day - May 11, 1869 NYC at 11:11:27 am LMT NYC.

The NYSE 1869 Horoscope is shown below, surrounded by a transit chart for the moment on November 16, 2022 that Uranus meets 1869 Pluto @16Tau36 (the degree of the 2022 Midterms Lunar Eclipse conjunct extremist Uranus). Is the link apparent? Flush corporatists and mega-monied Wall Street gentry funding US elections and candidates so that the results go their way? Am I over-explaining?

Now November 16th is the second of three such meetings with the first having occurred on June 6, 2022 and the final conjunction coming on March 28, 2023.

As you see, the 'reorganizational' New Moon of May 11, 1869 @20Tau57 awaits the catalyst of transit Uranus as well (rebellion; shared conflicts; upsets) and obviously technology is in the picture, along with new methods and a potential for disruption. Additionally, in 1869 Mars @25Leo31 squares the New Moon (New Moons can behave like Solar Eclipses - and there was an Eclipse @20Taurus in May 2013, a 15 South: 'sense of collective loss or grief' - B. Brady). Plus, warrior Mars hopes to add a measure of fanaticism to the picture on or about September 14 and 15, 2022 - today and tomorrow.

And so I'm posting a few notes concerning the Uranus-to-Pluto transit, their sextile, and a mention of 1869 Saturn (in 4th house of Real Estate - housing crash coming? Some economists say so; or, a crisis involving Mining, metals, etc - for 1869 Saturn Rx is apex planet of a YOD pattern with the Uranus-Pluto sextile at its base, plus, Saturn is handle of a Bucket shape in 1869). As you know, YODs are karmic in nature and signal turning points or crossroads - and/or bring karmic opportunities, and with apex Saturn, karma is boosted to a higher, or deeper, level and what's been sown will be reaped.

Meanwhile, planet Saturn as Handle (which turns a Bowl shape of planets into a Bucket) reveals the Timekeeper planet as having a special capacity and interest in a particular direction (M. E. Jones). Here, and considering current anxieties over recession and/or a collapse of home prices, it appears that the above noted Real Estate and Mining matters (4th house) may be simmering on the economic hob in relation to the NYSE - or, are being put there by the NYSE, aka, the Wall Street Casino which has no care or concern for Main Street where the rest of us live:

Uranus sextile Pluto is quite a rare aspect between the two outer planets. When it formed in the 1940s it activated a war between democracies and dictatorships and light vs dark (aka, good vs evil) - exactly what we're again fighting, along with atomic bomb concerns ('nuclear' now), and goose-stepping Nazis (now it's "neo-Nazis" and "neo-Fascists"). Secret knowledge is also involved with this sextile, an aspect of opportunity, (ex: purloined classified documents), plus, it activates opposition to conformity, control of information issues, and resistence to the suppression of independent thought (A. Epstein) - ex: Republican book banning and burning.

As for the Uranus-to-Pluto transit itself, abrupt changes to social conditions are potentials and can cause serious psychological adjustments in society in relation to our familiar ways and traditions. And if the 4th house Saturn in the 1869 chart counts for anything, domestic conditions may become more difficult once Wall Street harvests our treasures once again and uses the money for its own selfish purposes which for some will include their continued financial support for sedition and sabotage so that America loses democracy and falls beneath a paternalistic authoritarian boot.

So, my friends, whatever you do: Vote Blue in 2022 - and in 2024. Don't let the 'economic royalists' win!

America's initial Saturn-Pluto Cycle

Saturn-Pluto: Fanaticism and Turmoil Against Rigid Structures

To my surprise, the horoscope of America's initial Saturn-Pluto Cycle which began November 21, 1750 sports '23Cap47' rising, a sensitized degree which brings up the January 12, 2020 Saturn-Pluto Conjunction @22Cap46 - along with the natal and karmic Vertex ('VX') of one Donald Trump (22Cap51). Perhaps you agree that our current conditions feel like a double Saturn-Pluto emphasis now bedeviling society, led by an orange-hued figurehead who simply refuses to go away. Recognizing evil when we see it is one part of this cosmic picture, and the practice of Politics, corruptly done, provides decent folk with multiple opportunities to recognize evil each and every day.

Yet for about 1/3 of the US population, the orange blighter is a real pied piper, only fit for fussy fascist-minded fanatics - with fanaticism, violence, and victimhood showing in the horoscope, below.

One example is the Moon in fussy Virgo conjunct victim star Zosma); listed upper right is the fact that 1750 Luna conjuncts September 2016's 19 North Eclipse of "realism" and "tackling the truth," a promising eclipse which had the misfortune to be opposed by transit Neptune in Pisces, a planet of deception, fraud, and the gaslighting that was used to muddy all waters, erode facts, and disguise pathological liar Trump the grifter as being suitable to inhabit the Oval Office. Sad to say, he was, and is, not:

Now in the 1750 horoscope, there are other cosmic links to Tr*mp's natal planets for those who care to look, and there are a few chart factors which simply must be listed here. For instance, as noted above, the Moon @8Vir49 reflects the Prenatal Solar Eclipse (19 North) which brought along both the 2016 Election (selection, with Russia's help) and the 2017 Inauguration of the orange blighter whose current plight is our plight, more's the pity. Of interest may be a view of the dual horoscopes of the 1993 Clinton Inauguration and the cuss'ed 2017 Inauguration with its Scorpio Moon of betrayal. (You know, like seditionists and traitors do.)

Curiously, the 1993 Inaugural Moon conjuncts the 1993 Saturn-Pluto midpoint suggesting potentials for 'strong control over people's habits' (Munkasey) and/or 'a tragic destiny for women' (Ebertin). Naturally, the antiquated opinions of Justice Samuel Alito and his reactionary comrades come easily to mind although from 1993, it took the backward misogynists 29 years to overturn Roe v Wade. Yet happily, the Court's bizarre opinion has brought out women voters by the droves! (Did you hear that in Florida, DeSantis' list of banned books now includes The Handmaid's Tale? A brazen attempt to hide his true dystopian agenda for women all barefoot and pregnant, it appears.)

In addition, the Syzygy Moon prior to the 1750 Saturn-Pluto Conjunction falls @21Tau21 (4th house) conjunct a certain asteroid Phaethon, a figure who tends to take on more than he's ready for in similar fashion to the Icarus myth. Wouldn't it would be fabulous in 2022 and beyond if GOP neo-fascists and nazi-wanna-bes turn out to be doing just that - taking on too much so that failure results? However, we should add that the Sabian Symbol for the 1750 Ascendant ("24Cap") is quite descriptive in a handmaiden sort of way: "A Woman Entering a Convent" and yet it hints at "a deep-stirring challenge" (Jones). So it's to the polls, ladies!

Then around the IC of the horoscope (@17Tau16) you see both a solar and lunar eclipse listed. One is the current solar eclipse season we're now in since April 2022, the 6 North (@10Tau28: 'relationship to authority figures; the need to take control'), which spotlights the Uranus-Neptune midpoint of 1750 (@10Tau43, 3rd house) with the planetary pair's 'One World Government' vibes (aka, 'New World Order'). Plus, there's a very Uranian Lunar Eclipse in Taurus occurring on the day of our 2022 Midterms at the Base or Foundation of this Saturn-Pluto Cycle chart - with the Eclipse conjunct radical zealot Uranus, intent on stirring things up. Meanwhile, the axis of the 2022 Midterms Lunar Eclipse hits the Venus of 1750 (@16Sco12) conjunct the 1750 Midheaven (The Goal Point) which suggests materialism, valuations, and perhaps extravagance on a negative level, but fair play and cooperation if energies are positively directed for then karmic progress can be made.

However, this cosmic time link connects the hard work of Saturn-Pluto, even its violent reactions, to Election Day 2022 via Venus and the Taurus Lunar Eclipse which will certainly lead to inconvenient secrets uncovered or leaked, plus, the potential for disruption on a scale we've seldom if ever known.

Now there's one more chart factor worth a mention in this text: the Saturn-Pluto Cycle's Prenatal Eclipse ('PE') @11Can33 (6th house) in the 4 South Saros Series with themes of 'strong emotions over relationships and/or money; a desire to suddenly end relationships' (paraphrasing B. Brady). Disturbingly enough, 4 South is the same Series that manifested on December 14, 2020 @23Sag08 (ruffling Tr*mp's natal Gem-Sag Sun-NN/Moon-SN opposition), the day of the 2020 Electoral College Vote for Joe Biden and which times the beginning of the turmoil and turbulence that sore loser Trump and his 'Big Lie' continue to cause our nation as he struggles to shrug off paying for his many crimes while pining for a return to the protection of the Oval Office from whence more larceny and sabotage can be perpetrated by this thuggish creature. If we allow it!

So let us end with the Sabian Symbol for our country's initial Saturn-Pluto Cycle's degree of "4 Sagittarius": "A Little Child Learning to Walk" (which America would go on to become via Revolution and the Declaration of Independence):

Well, I don't know about you, dear reader, but as an American I can't imagine the initial cycle of our nation's Saturn-Pluto duo, hard-driving and determined as it is, as lacking "any real initiative" at all so let's claim the positive expression for America, shall we?
