On Saturday June 21, 2014 at 6:51 am edt the Summer Solstice perfects as Sun reaches 00Can00:00--in Washington DC with 13Can53 rising along with star Sirius, 'The Scorcher', and thus with America's natal Sun, 'the president'. Portentous? Undoubtedly, with global domination plans much more visible to the masses as the global government types' satanic goal is nearer than ever.

It's a Saturn Hour of consolidation and restriction with President Obama's last two years in office expected by many to be years of little action, lame and dull--and certainly of few improvements if certain trans-global entities continue to have their way about it. And of course, Saturn is also the planet of ancient religions and cultures such as are found in the Holy Land, Israel in particular.

Yes, the Summer Solstice 2014 horoscope contains worrisome aspects and planetary patterns as the As Above So Below adage bears out since Time began--a YOD, or Finger of God, for 'special task, crisis, crossroads, turning point' vibes appears (Venus, MC, North Node), overlaid by the yoke of the Cardinal Grand Cross the world has been groaning under off and on for months now--here between the usual culprits, Uranus (16Ari07 in 10th house), Pluto @12Cap36 Rx just barely setting in 6th house), Mars (14Lib52 in 4th house and conjunct US natal Saturn, a time of obstacles and rules that chafe yet possibly of better organization and careful planning.)

The Solstice chart's Ascendant makes the 4th point in the Cardinal Cross which of course denotes that US natal Sun is also the 4th point of the Cross. This highlights Pluto opposing US natal Sun as anarchist Uranus squares it, and the ASC is where these dynamic energies can easily express just as this Saturday morning rolls around and spotlights Summer 2014 as its primary season for whatever the difficult Cross brings.

Karmic = We Reap What Was Sown

Probably what the horoscope describes is 'more of same' yet the synchronicity of Summer Solstice 2014 with US Sun precisely rising may indicate a new element arriving on the scene, brought to us by Washington DC. In 1st house rises protective Jupiter--intent on expansion, investment, and exploration, yet is a hint of over doing things involved? Well, Jupiter @24Can33 conjoins US natal Mercury Rx, a time when new methods and experiences appear, travel and business ventures expand, and all Jupiterian realms are apt to blossom--in size if not in greatness. Development in communities and many local affairs may benefit from someone's generosity; banks and corporations of various kinds may merge or mergers may be announced (as if they're not too big already.) Perhaps a politician will 'switch sides' before November thinking it a better advantage, a tactic that's been tried before with what is usually temporary success.

Now the Solstice Sun is in 12th house of Politics, Large Institutions, Secret Deals, Karma, and Self-Undoing along with Mercury Rx @27Gem43--'28Gem' is a degree of BANKRUPTCY and is the degree of 9/11/01's void-of-course Moon, if that means anything.

Plus, as noted above, transit Pluto continues its power struggle and stand-offs with President Obama (US natal Sun), a titanic power game with important consequences. And of course the US Mercury-Pluto opposition of spying and total surveillance is at the heart of the plutonian mix as transit Jupiter moves into alignment opposite US natal Pluto (27Cap33 Rx), denoting a period when power and success are grossly mismanaged and 'a contest of wills' hardly describes the snit of miffdom everyone is in--and with Election 2014 looming in November. However, those contests will be influenced specifically by Autumn Equinox 2014 in September and the October 2014 Solar Eclipse.

Actually in the Summer Solstice 2014 horoscope, the primary chart factor to be considered above all is any applying major aspects of the chart-ruler--here, the Moon (Cancer ASC.) This provides clues to how things will proceed this summer and in this case it's Luna's square to Jupiter (3A27--from 10th house of Public Reputation and Career to the 1st house which signifies the Summer Solstice and season.) Remembering that the Moon represents The People, the Public, and the public mood in a Mundane chart (Mars-ruled Aries = active and angry!), a Moon-square-Jupiter condition supports the above indication of obstacles and blockages when gratification is delayed if not denied. (Moon in Aries = We ARE the People.) Impatience is out of proportion to frustrating delays or denials yet we still may stamp our feet at injustice. And yet once gained, we may not truly appreciate or properly use what was received. We may wish to beware extravagance!

Flowery or overblown emotional outbursts may seem entertaining this summer--and certainly will be in our ongoing and tiresome Political Theater performances--yet outbursts may waste energy more than they actually improve anyone's situation. And don't be surprised if it seems that 'nothing' falls into place as it should for the next few months but with the element of timing that Astrology brings to the table we always know that This Too Shall Pass.

Here you see a horoscope for the transit of Jupiter to America's natal Sun (the president; leader) @13Can19:21 conjunct Fixed Star *Sirius (14Can26) in the 2nd house of the National Treasury, Values, and Earning Ability (when the horoscope is set for Washington DC).

This conjunction perfects on Tuesday August 27, 2013 at 11:53 pm edt during a Venus Hour with both Venus and Jupiter known as 'money planets' and the Sun @5Vir01 in 4th house and about to conjoin President Obama's natal Pluto, a time when one is compelled to 'get to the bottom of things' and aggressive people who have this transit become pushier and more intense. Self-control and the uses and abuses of power are at issue and there are feelings of resentment toward those who ultimately control things and/or manipulate outcomes or events.

US natal Uranus rises bringing unexpected or shocking events, and/or, coping ability, and chart-ruler Mercury @8Vir14 applies only to a trine with 8th house Pluto @9Cap07 Rx showing debts or favors repaid, lost items found, and shrewd business deals in process; property assessments are likely to be favorable and info and/or intell gathering is successful though Pluto's Rx condition may cause some delays or glitches in 4th house (Real Estate; Security Issues) and/or 8th house matters (Debt, Credit, Insurance, Corporate Concerns, Shared Resources, Death Matters, Transformation, the Occult...the usual 8th h suspects.)

Midpoint pictures are formed by the four planets and include potentials for getting back on track, overturning tables (of the money-lenders? that would be brilliant!), intense efforts made to establish new perspectives, ruthlessness, power struggles that cause losses in relationships, quick responses, a 'crush the opposition' mindset, adventurousness, and excitability (Tyl; Ebertin.)

So What Does Transit Jupiter to US Natal Sun Indicate?

Meanwhile, as noted in my recent 12-year USA Jupiter Return 2013 Report (which may be ordered for electronic delivery from this blog's sidebar!), transit Jupiter conjoining natal Sun is a time of culmination when something begun 12 years ago must either end or move to the next level or stage. Such matters are forced by circumstances so important decisions must be made. A greater attainment of knowledge is in the works as well along with an expanded need for ego recognition.

For 'attainment of knowledge' we naturally we think first of the NSA domestic spying activities which didn't actually begin 12 years ago but were greatly increased and enhanced then by the passage and signing of the USA Patriot Act and, thanks to Edward Snowden's leaks, are now known to be much broader in scope than we were told. And there's the propagandistic 'war on terror' which was and is used to emotionally manipulate the American people along with false flag ops that have been used in the past (and present) to finagle and trick us into war.

Plus, Jupiter is known as the broadcaster so wouldn't it be amazing if the news media finally stopped touting the fraudulent government script about the 'war on terror' and got real about the roles of banksters in our Fed-owned economy and the crimes of the other scam artists and embezzlers of Washington DC--you know, the psychopathic 'politicians' who breach the public trust 24/7 in order to enrich themselves and their pals and hang on to their cushy positions of power?

And maybe the President and Eric Holder of the US Department of Justice will receive a beneficial boost from Jupiter around August 27th given the recent rhetoric which promises (one of Jupiter's functions) more activity on the Voting Rights Act enforcement issue.

We must also consider the turn of the *New Millennium when the 'seeding' of the 'new world order' (aka, a 'new age') was performed by the Clintons at the illuminated, phallic Washington Monument for the 1999-into-2000 New Year celebration. Perhaps you remember that there was at the time quite a bit of hair-splitting about whether the 21st Century began on January 1, 2000, or on January 1, 2001.

SCOTUS Acts Under Influence of 1960s Uranus-Pluto Conjunction Now Squared

By now you've heard the gut-wrenching news of yesterday's SCOTUS decree that states no longer have to clear their plans with the feds when they wish to disenfranchise voters.

The Court's majority opinion states that, "coverage today is based on decades-old data and eradicated practices." Chief Justice Roberts wrote, "Congress--if it is to divide the States--must identify those jurisdictions to be singled out on a basis that makes sense in light of current conditions. It cannot rely on the past."

The Court complained that Congress could have acted to update the formula, but did not. Yet SCOTUS has now tossed the ultimate fate of minority voting rights upon the 'good auspices' of a feckless, reckless US Congress overflowing with buffoons and foreign agents who've determined to overthrow the sovereign government of the United States of America. No longer should our operatives sally forth into the election process of any other nation or state and give instructions on how to hold fair elections.

Apparently, America has "spread (so much) democracy abroad, she has none left to spread at home about the states--kind of like our past and current foreign reconstruction efforts, and the trillions of dollars the US government passes under tables to heads-of-state (dictators) in a vain attempt to stay on top of the global government pile of clothes-less emperors and their Orwellian districts and regions.

First it was the Rehnquist Court installing Bush and Cheney in the White House in December 2000 by stopping the Florida vote-count for no good reason (other than to throw the election Bush's way), then it was the Roberts Court's Citizens United decision in January 2010 meant to throw our election campaigns into the "dark money" pools of billionaires and trillionaires (foreign and otherwise), and now John Roberts fulfills his Reagan-era dream of gutting the heart from the 1965 Voting Rights Act.

Now, thanks to the Supreme Court of the United States, the spirit of intolerance, oppression, and persecution will again walk this land--this time even more brazenly than before. For as of yesterday, it has the imprint of the Court's approval upon its passport and permission to march America in a direction which very few if any of the American people want to go.

Yes, the three conjunctions rebel Uranus and powerful manipulator Pluto in the mid-1960s timed the Civil Rights movement and its subsequent legislation signed by President Lyndon B. Johnson. Many people died or were injured in the passing of this legislation but it only took 5 out of 4 Supreme Court Justices to neuter what until now has been a law that protected minority voters wherever states didn't ignore its provisions or pass pre-Civil-War inspired regulations.

As a child of the Revolution and a daughter of the South, I apologize to the nation for what my 'brethren' hath wrought whenever they heat up the old states' rights v centralized federal government debate with its tiresome divide-and-conquer tactics. Yes, the stirring up of racial issues has always been one of the primary methods the power elite use to stymy our national debates and render our national progress paralyzed. Why, the so-called Civil War was engineered by warmongers and moneylenders in part as a result of foreign meddling and interference!

Sigh! It all makes me sad for America, for our children, and for anyone's ancestors who fought and died for this nation. And it's craven how the most damage to our country is now being done by those who never served themselves but have no trouble sending other people's children into battle, or gutting laws that don't personally affect them, their rights, or even their comfort.

Well, I'm about ready to hush for now and close with a list of the dates (2012--2015) of all the exact Uranus-Pluto squares I can find (perhaps you know of more?) So far, we've experienced 3 of them with 3 more to go--from Uranus in Cardinal Aries to Pluto in Cardinal Capricorn with harsh Mars-Saturn undertones:

As you know, Jupiter the Judge has just crossed World Point 00Can00 and since the Great Benefic increases or expands whatever he touches, I fret that this post understates the threat to our democracy by the Supreme Court's current and previous decisions as mentioned above. We can glean a midpoint picture from this cosmic shift with Jupiter in Cancer lining up in opposition to Pluto across the Can-Cap axis of Security, and catalyst and anarchist Uranus feeling feisty in Mars-ruled Aries:

Jupiter-Pluto = Uranus: striving for social improvements (social aspirations); pursuit of philosophical or religious objectives; achieving immense success (Ebertin.)

But of course, the Uranus-Pluto pair of energies also relates to criminals and crimes and I feel that it is a crime what SCOTUS has perpetrated upon the America people through perversion of our once-proud justice system. Not that they haven't had plenty of help from agents in other quarters.

Also on the docket: a politically minded SCOTUS is taking up the constitutionality of President Obama's recess appointments. You know, SCOTUS would not have been our 'final arbiters' of constitutionality of it weren't for Marbury v Madison 1803 which skewed the checks and balances of our three branches of government toward the prominence of a panel of unelected judges. In other words, in 1803 SCOTUS took upon themselves the mantle of power and look at the sorry way they wear it in the New Millennium (horoscope shown--you'll note that Pluto has crossed its IC and conjoins natal Sun, and soon natal Mercury in Capricorn. At Midheaven is America's natal Sun being slowly if karmically undermined.)

Sun (president) plus Saturn (Congress; SCOTUS) vs The People's Moon

A fated planetary pattern called Thor's Hammer (aka, Fist of God) may be seen in the natal horoscope (July 4, 1776) of America between the Sun-Saturn square aiming toward US natal Moon @27AQ10 (We the People):

Point (Goal) has 2 Libra: "The light of the sixth race transmuted to the seventh" for its Sabian Symbol. Keyword: THRESHOLD which negatively implies "a loss of reality in an infinitely regressive other-worldliness or a total lack of all practicality." (Jones.) Hmm! Sounds like a few current-day congressional anti-government obstructionists we both could name!

Sun square Saturn denotes our Founding Fathers getting their authority act together in our nation's earliest days, and the presidents' (Sun) methodical application of what's been learned (Saturn) as the decades have passed. This square also indicates the difficulties of the presidential job with its imperatives which must be accomplished in a patient one-step-at-a-time manner.

Unfortunately for the American people and the rest of the world's populations, this measured approach has come to include the establishment of a global government with the US acting as its military arm. President Obama's speech yesterday in when he seems to have redefined America's foreign policy with a much-needed if elusive end to war was inspiring if true, dangerous and cynical propaganda if false.

America's Sun/Pluto obsession? EM Radiation/Smart Grid/Spying (video)

Now when it comes to America's natal horoscope of July 4, 1776, our government's tendency toward strong-arm control, and spying on US citizens, I usually reserve my astro-complaints for our nation's Mercury/Pluto opposition with its state-of-crisis, problem-solving, fear-of-credibility-challenges themes. Spies (Mercury) control (Pluto) data from regions unknown and of course, Mercury's connection to air travel implicates spy satellites as well. Plus, Pluto's 'invisible helmet' and its link with psychology, coping mechanisms, insights, secrets, and subversion cannot be dismissed for those who appreciate astrological and mythological translations of real-world topics.

Yet perhaps America's natal Sun (leadership) in self-protective Cancer and natal Pluto (wealthy power-behind-the-throne controllers) in Saturn-ruled Capricorn--across the Can-Cap Security axis--should be mentioned for anyone wishing to view the above video since US natal Sun/Pluto are in quindecile aspect (165 degrees), an obsessive-compulsive relationship between the president and unnamed plutocrats (and spying agencies) which indicates drive and determination toward dealing or coping with the manipulation concerns of both Sun and Pluto.

See if you think their obsessions relate to the concept of spying and collecting data on all Americans, the guilty and the innocent, in direct opposition to the tenets embedded within the US Constitution; the added involvement of US natal Mercury fills out the picture even more and, imho, continues to describe the upper levels of the American ruling class as their net of control tightens circa 2012:

Okay, that's my fuss for today. We still have the best nation in the world, don't we? But it takes the consent of the governed for things to work out well. Let's close with three quotes from one of our early Illuminized Masonic presidents for I still have trouble believing Thomas Jefferson was completely clued in on what the future would hold for America as engineered by reason-worshippers who wish a 'return to Utopia' and a chaotic nation without any civil institutions at all--you know, like those Social Darwinians and other radicals now attempting to defund education, environmental protections, civil servant pay, and any other common good service or program that keeps America leaning forward and that We the People need in order to simply survive:

US natal Sun Cancer-Moon Aquarius and Jupiter

Most natal horoscopes for America use July 4, 1776 as our nation's birth date, the day the Declaration of Independence was unveiled to the people, and which shows the United States to be a misty, ethereal, creative Sun Cancer-Moon Aquarius blend of energies. This Water-Air combination describes the synergy between leadership (Sun) and the people (Moon) and may be worthy of a brief investigation.

This is a 'thinking vs feeling' blend with a decided past and future vibe. Humanitarianism is indicated with its concern for the public welfare, and the generous spirit of this combo supports Jupiter as our probable US natal chart-ruler (Sagittarius rising.)

Sun Can-Moon AQ is a lover of symbols which relates well to our national personality as a people, but also to the mysterious symbols our leaders have placed through the years on US coins and paper money, our flag, the Great Seal's obverse and reverse sides, etc. In fact, the Great Seal's eye in the triangle and pyramid are opposites representing the transformation process which results in a whole and creates something new: "whole-brain knowing." This relates to a new paradigm, a phrase we've heard often lately. However, this topic goes a little beyond the scope of a brief post so let's mosey back to the visionary combo of Sun Can-Moon AQ.

Typically the American people act as cautious, self-protective, old-fashioned 'crabs' with a highly romanticized view of our nation's past; yet often we are (and are seen to be) focused on futuristic plans and trends with a quirky need for space, movement, independence, and freedom. We're quite a mish-mash of thinkers and feelers which I suspect the elite ruling class realized long ago with their 'liberal vs conservative' tactics to keep us divided and conquered.

(In my universe, thinkers are allowed to feel and feelers are allowed to think whenever necessary!)

When our conscious Sun traits of Cancer are melded into our unconscious Aquarian Moon traits, we can be friends to the world with an advantageous flair for traditional progressivism. This is what I suspect most Americans are and prefer to be, for we see things as working best that way, even as politics' divisive 'either/or' requirements and propagandistic slogans busy themselves with gumming up the efficient working of our society. Unfortunately for the good of our nation, most Capitol Hill Republicans and Democrats purposefully lost that thread decades ago and have no intention of gaining it back.

With Sun Cancer-Moon AQ, the typical clannishness of Cancer is universalized by the Aquarian Moon so that broad social issues are always on our country's agenda. Family is paramount with us, yet our friends and colleagues tend to be treated as 'family', too. So personal warmth combines with abstract thought and is communicated to the world with aplomb and conviction. The sign Cancer is shrewd in business, yet we prefer to match our sentiments with actions for the benefit of all.

A weakness of the Can-AQ blend is a tendency to 'mother the world' and take on too many burdens at once. We have only to look at our government's meddling and misadventures in foreign countries to see where this tendency has led us (an empty treasury being one of its dire results.)

Asteroid Apollo flies by

Discovered by Wilhelm Reinmuth on April 24, 1932, asteroid Apollo is associated mythologically with the Greek sun god, Apollo and was the first of the Earth-crosser/Venus-crosser/Mars-crossers to be found.

At its sighting Apollo was Tropically at "1Scorpio", conj the New World Order's natal Sun degree...I'm only giving the negative version of the Sabian Symbols because I want to...

"1Sco": "A sight-seeing bus"> neg: a genius for avoiding any and every actual expenditure of self.

Apollo's Sidereal degree at discovery may be instructive for our current climate:

"5Sco": "A massive, rocky shore"> neg: blind stubborness or unreasoning conservatism.

Hmmm-m-m-m-m...

Astrologically there are three possible manifestations of this asteroid in our charts--and thus in our psyches--interpreted by the excellent Lee Lehman:

1. a personification of the Sun in the chart (self-protective, side-scuttling Cancer for US and George Bush);

2. a personification of Greek society's archetypal traits of the ideal man;

3. the giver or healer of disease.


Apollo's key phrase: against the odds.


It will be interesting to see how the next several days play out--a new cure or a new epedemic? Or other archetypal manifestations of Apollo's visit to Earth of the closer kind? Was Queen Elizabeth's visit to the US a few days early? Well, it has been years since she was last here!

ASTEROID FLYBY: This week, a famous asteroid is flying past Earth: 1862 Apollo.

Discovered in 1932, Apollo was the first asteroid recognized to cross Earth's orbit. Its discovery, and the subsequent discovery of many others like Apollo, helped
scientists understand that the threat of asteroid impacts didn't end with the
dinosaurs; it's a modern problem, too. There's no danger of a collision
this time. Apollo will be about 10.7 million kilometers away at closest approach
on May 8th. Southern hemisphere astronomers with big backyard telescopes may be
able to photograph the 1.7 km-wide asteroid and its tiny 75 meter-wide moon gliding
through the constellations Microscopium and Grus.
