Social propagandists often run concepts and bad ideas up the proverbial public flagpole to see if anyone salutes, to undermine our traditional social fabric of decency, and/or simply to get us accustomed to certain ideas prior to implementing them (or some version thereof.)

The eeriness of HAL (the computer in 2001: A Space Odyssey) is a good example of our collectively shared feelings of creepiness, dread, and threat in this New Technology Age ('www', the oft-touted Age of Aquarius?) You'd be forgiven about now if you hearkened your mind back to Dr. Frankenstein's obsession with overstepping natural boundaries no matter the cost, monster be da*ned.

A Huffington Post article The Adjustment Bureau: Fate or Free Will? explains the premise of the new Matt Damon film...or is it just another Hollywood propaganda effort to make light of what really is an overarching and manipulative Plan by shadowy global figures and criminal networks?

Well, just for fun (and because it could look good against SO'W's charcoal background - and we do talk on this blog about stars, here's a 10 min 30 sec video of Stanley Kubrick's 2001: A Space Odyssey from way back in 1968. I was a sprightly teen then, saw 2001 in a theater, and was fairly freaked out over uppity HAL's new attitude. You?

Tr Jupiter/Neptune = n Mercury: skills with deceptive practices; the raising of hopes; talking a lot and putting on an act; self-study in the realms of mysticism; rich powers of visualization; speaking for the deprived; misleading or misdirecting the attention of others.

Ah, 2001! That last sounds like Hollywood using HAL to distract the discontented masses from political shenanigans, doesn't it? But if such a techno-distraction isn't enough, the powers-that-be can always use the centuries-old trick of tyrants and kings everywhere: start a war. Oh yeah. They did.

And they are apparently getting US troops ready for more carnage.

If so, then Washington will have our nation playing a triple role as the 'bomb first ask questions later' brigade serving courageously on behalf of the suckiest over-reaching government in world history and one that seldom if ever admits culpability for its crimes. Washington refuses to put Wall Street fraudsters on trial and fairly convict them for collapsing and riding down the global economy.

Presidential background: LBJ was sworn in on Nov 22, 1963 after JFK's assassination, and was inaugurated once on Jan 20, 1965. Therefore, the above Great Conjunctions both took place and greatly influenced events during the Lyndon B. Johnson administration; Richard Nixon was inaugurated the first time on Jan 20, 1969 but he campaigned to win the White House, of course, in 1968.

Astrology of John P. Wheeler's Murder

Update 1.5.11 5:25 pm est: click the comments tab under this post for an astute reader's addition of a video link: seems that Mr. Wheeler's status as a bio-weapons expert may have been the cause of his murder: the redwing blackbirds falling dead from the sky in Arkansas on New Year's Eve may have been a bio experiment - and he was on his way to Washington DC. (See midpoint pics below with its 'criticism-sharp-analylist implications. Plus, Thom Hartmann mentioned today that dead birds have turned up in Maryland and in other countries, too.

And here's a link to an interesting post on the dead bird connection to this murder which may have occurred after a trip Mr. Wheeler took to Wilmington on Dec 28, 2010 after supposedly going to DC to 'raise hell' about a chemical weapon phosgene which was about to be sent to the battlefields of Afghanistan - from storage at a military base in Arkansas.

If this is true, wonder how long the Pentagon thought they could hide that?

John Wheeler murder: Last sighting of White House aide has the details released so far by Wilmington Delaware police concerning this sad story.

Now I seldom care to spend much time studying horoscopes when a definite time for the person or event is unknown but there are a few factors of note which do not depend upon knowing the exact hour of Mr. Wheeler's demise. The exact time of the discovery of his body is known, however (see below.)

On December 29, 2010, a lady attendant at the car park of the New Castle County courthouse in Wilmington Delaware observed him as "disoriented" and he replied to her query that he was not, in fact, "OK." On the morning of December 30, members of the public had what is apparently the last sighting of Mr. Wheeler walking down a Wilmington street.

On both days, the Sun @ 8Cap+ conjoined Fixed Star Facies, one of the nastiest stars in the sky, with its keywords: ruthlessness or the victim; illness, accidents, violent death, blindness, leadership ability, cold, detached, not close to anyone. (A. Louis; B. Brady.)

Plus, a powerful midpoint picture was in force all through both Dec 29 and Dec 30, 2010 which relates to meetings and fated encounters (North Node):

Sun/NN = Pluto: the urge to use compulsion with others; exercising influence over the masses; power acquired from associating with the right people; concealing ties to dominant and important groups or associations; secret meetings where power and influence are allocated or divided; ordering and controlling others; being persuasive; exerting one's influence. (Ebertin; Tyl; Munkasey; any, all, or none may apply.)

Pluto, as you know, is famous in Astrology for certain things such as sabotage, spying, murder, rape, and assassination; Sun/NN = new contacts, the public, shared experiences, and, among other things, political associations that eventually do more harm than good.

(Wheeler served as advisor to presidents Reagan, Bush Sr, and George W. Bush, and worked on biological and chemical weapons issues at the Pentagon, once upon a time. It is reported that he recommended that the US not use them.)

Of note as well, December 30, 2010 was the day of Mercury's Direct Station @19Sag+ and though I could type out for you any of the various Sabian Symbols for 19 or 20 Sagittarius, I won't, because if you're reading this blog, you probably have that info at your fingertips.

So instead, I shall add Adriano Carelli's symbol for '19Sag' since it may relate on some level to Mr. Wheeler's ongoing tussle with his neighbor, Frank Marini, and to Wheeler's mysterious death; police have revealed that a smoke bomb was placed under Mr. Marini's house the week before Wheeler's death:

"A house on a holm whose bushy banks are wrapped in flames."

Carelli explains this symbol as possibly relating to a subtle but crooked intelligence, having to go through fire, war conflagrations, searing moral pains, and something having to be thrown overboard in order for someone to escape.

Now there is a definite time mentioned in the article linked above: 3:30 pm on New Years' Day, January 1, 2011, when a garbage truck emptied a dumpster containing his body at the Cherry Island landfill in Wilmington and "the grim discovery was made."

Rising was 24Gem35 (the Discovery degree of Uranus, 1781) with 1Pis03 at Mc; Pluto had moved on to become apex in a different midpoint picture which relates to strong opinions:

Mercury/Mars = Pluto: a sharp analyst; a fanatical critic; criticism with a passion; an over-zealous orator; the misfortune of suffering heavy attacks or assaults from others; compulsion about any suspicions about activities; angry communications from others about one's writings, business, or educational capabilities; involved in big arguments; knowing just what's wrong with the world (my italics.)

Okay, that's all I have for the moment concerning the mysterious death of John P. Wheeler III, a man once at the pentacle of Politics, now cruelly murdered and dumped in a Delaware landfill, a fate I can't imagine that he deserved. This video from the Iran Contra 'hearings' shows Oliver North bristling and - pardon my French - clamming up his pie hole as Rep. Jack Brooks, a Democrat from Texas, questions him about his NSC work on the martial law provisions of FEMA to suspend the US Constitution and round up troublemakers during domestic emergencies of any kind which the government deems declarable as such.

The problem is these jolly days, we don't know the difference between emergencies and trumped up, sexed up emergencies! What they call 'false flag ops' are perpetrated only abroad, never here in hallowed America...or are they?

With Reagan on the lofty perch, came the auspiciously Orwellian year of 1984 when there appeared a plan named Rex 84. Almost as soon as Reagan was sworn in, he appointed Louis Giuffrida as head of FEMA. You'll hear the rest in the video, if you don't know it already. (And it was at 12:05 pm est on Jan 20, 1981 that Jimmy Carter says a secret agent whispered in his ear that the Iranian hostages had been released. Quite a busy few minutes, what?)

Anyway, view the video and check out Giuffrida's crazy syndicate eyes and the other-worldly expression on his gob. He could be a poster boy for the national Never Meet This Man in a Dark Alley campaign.

Together with former and so-recent CEO/prez Bush's implementation of Directive 51, a number that conjures the karmic or fated septile aspect of chaos to my mind, the US government is preparing and alert, in order to protect itself from the American people who, forced into dire straits, may be lemming'd into behaving most any way FEMA officals, or their surrogates or bosses, deem conducive for successfully staging a military coup upon the United States of America.

Twisted justifications will follow, if there's anyone left to fool or impress.

Just consider the number of military bases the US has established around the globe. Harken thee back to America's Progressed Mars (military; males; energy; action; initiative; drive), so recently turned retrograde 'by progression' - and thus we have developed (progressions) a tendency to turn inward (Rx) with the might and zeal of our nation's collective Mars. And we've become even sneakier than before!

I chose this Symbol because of my last comment about the trumpet blowing. But I just thought of something about the US natal chart...natal Ceres and the Chiron/Pluto midpoint are both positioned at '8Pis' in 1776, and you know about the oppressive, fascist racism, enslavement, and disenfranchisement of Chiron/Pluto, one of the primary significators of primal violence and plutocracy come to oppress.

Chiron/Pluto = Ceres Rx. (In Astrology, any retrograde body isn't necessarily weaker because of its Rx condition, it's deeper because it acts on inner levels.)

Plus, in national charts (Mundane Astrology), asteroid Ceres represents security needs, concerns, and issues. So I'd even wondered if the recent outbursts, the reputed gun concealment, and shoutings-down at townhall meetings are part of a set-up to rile the citizenry more quickly so that martial law may be imposed on schedule.

If so, it tells me that the GOP and others retain their ability to sway large numbers of the populace through emotions while not leaving so much as a claw print upon their hearts.

Bush orders clampdown on flights to US--EU officials furious as Washington says it wants extra data on all air passengers:

The US administration is pressing the 27 governments of the European Union to sign up for a range of new security measures for transatlantic travel, including allowing armed guards on all flights from Europe to America by US airlines. The demand to put armed air marshals on to the flights is part of a travel clampdown by the Bush regime that officials in Brussels described as "blackmail" and "troublesome", and could see west Europeans and Britons required to have US visas if their governments balk at Washington's requirements.

According to a US document being circulated for signature in European capitals, EU states would also need to supply personal data on all air passengers overflying but not landing in the US in order to gain or retain visa-free travel to America, senior EU officials said.#


This reminds me of what may be a similarly themed issue: building walls on the border between the US and Mexico--and I can't shake the feeling that it's meant as much to isolate the American people as to keep others out. The above-mentioned "blackmail" seems part of the same ploy.

Then there's the recent mysterious cutting of Iran's internet cables. And although I would be among the first to suspect the Bush regime or others in the cutting yet I can't help but wonder if it's the Iranian government closing in on the Iranian people, just as the Bush-Cheney 1% gang is busily doing to America.

Hmm...this "feeling" is probably simply a part of the fear-esque atmosphere they're advancing upon us 24 hours a day, for years on end. Right?

Or perhaps another mixed "blessing" from Mr. Freedom-is-the-default-position-of-humanity!

In 2004, McCain was against making the rich class tax cut permanent--now the economy is different so he's FOR making them permanent, seeing no connection between the current state of the economy and the Bush-Cheney tax cuts! Did corporations invest the billions Congress handed them on a golden platter--in American jobs or American infrastructure?

No, and they won't be doing so. The 'action' is somewhere else and the average US worker is out of the loop. John Edwards tells it but the media ignores his inconvenient message...inconvenient for corporate media's neocon brethren and the agenda.

Will duh moments never cease? Not if America is herded (or hacked) into voting for a Republican warhawk again. A vote for McCain is like a vote for his pal Trent Lott.

War Enabled by Politics--the "S" word:

Surrender doesn't have to be the argument's "frame" anyway. There is nothing dishonorable about regrouping forces to plan (and fight) anew.

If the I Ching has known this for centuries, why can't Washington accept and benefit by the concept? Because war profiteers find it a successful tactic to use as a political wedge against the American people whose children are needed as cannon fodder for decades to come.

Yes, "patriotism" is a useful political ploy to persuade and manipulate your tools who serve your own best interests while sacrificing their own interests and the very lives of their children and grandchilren. (Over the top war costs prevent social improvements...duh.)

So while young, not-so-young, and yet-to-be parents of America consider self-promoting Bush's SOTU conclusions Monday night (and the rest of the week if Bush can stay in the news long enough for busy parents to notice and with this raging campaign heating up...btw: congrats to Senator Obama!)...they'll eventually get a chance in Nov 2008 to voice their disfavor with makin' neocon cannon fodder babies for generations to come.

With Bhutto's birth time unknown, I decided to post her sad death chart with natal placements (in blue) around the outside.

The time has been given as 6:16 pm as her moment of expiration after being shot and blown up after speaking at a large rally where she was undoubtedly strong with persuasion--and worrisome to her enemies and to those who like to mess up US efforts no matter what violence it takes.

Moon is chart-ruler and the feature that pops out is Moon conj her natal Pluto, planet (yes, planet) of death, transformation, and power, natally placed at 21 Leo21.

Moon to Pluto: reckless determination to fulfill desires; zeal; upheavals; turmoil; emotional devastation (Tyl.)

Before I go on, let me say that my heartfelt condolences go out to the Pakistani people for their loss.

Moon is separating from opposition with Neptune in AQ (the masses--she was leaving a large rally) and applies to a square with Scorpionic Venus and a trine with Pluto (a certain meeting scheduled for later in the evening?)

South Node (SN--a separative point) 29Leo02 is at critical/crisis degree and is midway between Moon (and thus her natal Pluto) and tr Saturn. Moon/Saturn is a signifier of control, restriction, and oppression of the people (Moon), and Saturn/Pluto = cruelty, hard work, and loss.

As you remember, the attacks of 9/11 occurred while Saturn and Pluto were in opposition. All of this is happening with a 9/11, 'war on terror' backdrop, of course, with missing US billions now lining someone's pockets, although Pakistani officials are understanably denying it. Incendiary Mars Rx 1Can33 is now between Bhutto's natal Sun/Mars conj so her assassination has happened during her Mars Return, a triple one due to Mars' retrogradation. If her natal Sun is at 29Gem (another crisis degree), then contentious activist Mars is headed back that way in early January, and again reaches today's degree on appr March 9, 2008.

This sensitive degree in early Cancer triggers 9/11's Mars and the Solar Eclipse prior to 9/11/01. On Nov 3, Mars was at 11Can26 (when Musharraf declared emergency rule--a euphemism for martial law or police state, suspended the Supreme Court, and imprisoned thousands who don't agree with him, etc) and the god of war will return to 11Can33 during the first couple of days of April, 2008. This will continue the same issues for Pakistan and despotic Musharraf.

The pile-up now opposite Mars--Pluto in late Sag, Jupiter, and Sun--are conjunct asteroids Hopi (ambush; prejudice ), Bacchus (denial), and Morya (death.) This is a grouping I have fretted about before in a recent post--the one on Winter Solstice 2007. It was ugly then, and it's produced ugly, rotten, tragic fruit today.

Benazir Bhutto's book will be coming out in spite of her untimely death, says NPR but with her hopes for Pakistan interrupted, her dreams for moderation dissolved, and her people in chaos and grief.

Banking may be involved as well for Capricorn energies tend to appreciate a fat paycheck (particularly when it's paid for one's efforts), and we mustn't rule out the mystical realm of Capricorn's ancient mer-goat symbol. Even the nasty old Goat of Mendes could have had a hoof in the heinous, overbearing take-r-out plot.

Meanwhile, the plutocratic, racist, oppressive Pluto-Chiron midpoint is on the Descendant (of Other People/Partnerships/Legal Affairs/Open Enemies) at 6:16 pm so if she was partnering with the corporate types, where were they when she needed them? Or perhaps it hasn't been a trusty partnership, as it turns out.

A "grim" Bush was quick to tout his brand of democracy as soon as he could get a mike in front of his gob. He said that those who committed this crime must be brought to justice. Since that guy is dead, old Bush must've meant those who sponsored this crime, aka assassination, aka terroism. (If they're hanging out with bin Laden, we know that Bush and Musharraf won't be finding them.)

Asteroid, Icarus, associated with assassination, is conj the New World Order degree of "18Cap." Mmm, no comment. Venus is in the secretive sign of Scorpio at the "A Military Band on the March" degree, and with the chaos created today, it is marching for sure as Pakistan's military arm shows its strength in a way opposite to what the common man and woman might prefer.

The negative/shadow side of this degree is: foolhardy self-exploitation. But who are the fools? There seem to be so many of them on all sides...who can keep them sorted?

'They say' that Musharraf didn't take Bhutto's safety seriously (I'm being generous here) and emergency rule is surely on one of the cards he holds in his graspy claw, with perhaps the promised January "elections" being cancelled as well. Hey--Putin's staying in, so Pervez wants to stay in power, too.

As the fairy dust settles from last evening's Full Moon, we find that at 3:00 am edt in midtown Manhattan, Explosives in NYC's Mexican Consulate so explosive Mars is still busy in 'the homeland' (Cancer), out-of-bounds and lobbing makeshift explosives from a bicycle.

3:00 am in NYC brought up Bush's natal Virgoan Mars, just after tr Saturn, whose Hour it was. Saturn Hours are good for things like taking responsibility and for control, with an air of restriction and inhibition involved. This lobbing was a diversion of some kind, and indicates that activist Mars has more trouble in store. What else is new, right?

So Bush has this goin' on: Mars/Saturn = ASC: obstacles caused by others; illness; separation; bereavement; struggling for every step of advancement; possible health threat. (Will his colon come back to haunt him?) (midpoints: Tyl; Ebertin.)

Saturn will be restrictvely conjuncting his natal Mars soon (health concerns continue.) It's a period when circumventing rules is ill-advised and relationships with males may be interrupted or broken off entirely. Loneliness increases, yet a reaffirmation toward long-term goals is also possible. Kind of a 'stay the course' transit (ad nauseum.)

But back at the Mexican Consulate:

At the WHY Point of the chart (MC) was tr asteroid, Midas, the King, greedy lover of gold, and at IC (the HOW Point) was asteroid, Bacchus, keywords: denial; substitution; management of uncomfortable emotions. This lobbing occurred only a couple of hours after the Full Moon, Moon 3Tau46, "4Tau": "The rainbow's pot of gold."

3Tau08 is the Discovery Degree of Chiron, the Wound or the Wounded Healer, which is again splat upon Dick Cheney's natal Sun (10AQ48)--a transit which may spiritualize (Chiron) one's purpose in life (Sun), or indicate wounded vitality (health issues--with Cheney, probably heart-related. Today as I prepared a post on Mukasey's confirmation hearings beginning, Bush called a press conference at 10:45 am edt, Washington, DC, with the midpoint Neptune/MC rising.

Neptune/MC = ASC: acting and pretending; pursuit of the wrong objectives; living in a world of illusions and unreality; uncertainty; defenses against insecurity.

After listening to Bush's rather strident voice-goes-up-at-end-of-sentences statement, and now listening to his answers to reporters questions--and considering the seriousness of Putin-in-Iran, Turkey po'd over the genocide resolution and the D's bad timing on this 90-year-old situation, the housing losses getting worse as I type, China's issues with Tibet and the Dalai Lama's award to be presented today, and other attacks on Bush's presidency, it seems clear that having his back against so many walls isn't good for America.

Nor has his presidency been, of course, but my point is the same one I've made here before--America is the only nag in the race for me and I would've loved it if the Bush 43 presidency had been good for our nation. Yet the justification of his 'protecting' us from terroist attacks for the last 6 years only works if you think he and his ilk were not complicit or culpable in the attacks of 9/11--and the jury is still out to lunch on that question, imho.

So Bush used this morning's 'bully pulpit' (as he mentioned once again) to scold Congress (again) and to assure the American people he's still "relevant" and that he intends to sprint to the finish (he says again.)

My Mukasey post concerned Venus in Virgo (now conjunct asteroid Astraea) at fated degrees (7) with Mercury and Mars. Venus is passing Saturn by but still less than 3 degrees, with tr South Node (separation) conj Saturn. This Venus, Astraea, Saturn, SN hook-up crossed MC (Career; Aspirations Point) just before Bush's press conference began.

Astraea: goddess of justice and law; so Astraea/Venus seems to represent Michael Mukasey quite well. Here's the link to the article which makes me feel as if I'm catapultin' the propaganda judging by the headline:

Mukasey Favors Independent Justice Dept which won't do our civil liberties much good if he's similar enough to Bush-Cheney in his views. He's famous for signing Muslim round-up orders after 9/11--yet others of interest were flown out of reach.

Bush Seeks to Boost Canada, Mexico Ties at a 2-day summit in Montebello, Quebec, today and Tuesday as these midpoint pictures form the background of the week:

The pairing of Saturn (structure; form; old; the past) with Uranus (rebellion; disruption; shock; progress; the new) is always indicative of the tension and stress between old vs new which may lead to conflict and sometimes to violence, and there's an intervention in one's destiny flavor. Instigator and activist Mars has been mightily busy of late, hasn't he?

And with Mars at 6-8 Gemini this month puts me in mind of the last Great Conjunction/s of Neptune/Pluto, the Robber Baron team of the late 1890s...

This is when the real exploitation of natural resources and the oppression of the masses got its modern beginning not they hadn't before, of course. Sad to say, the other difficult midpoint picture ongoing is explosive in the extreme:

Weather-related catastrophes are included in these pictures, and the Saturn/Uranus/Mars combo certainly relates to mining collapses all over the globe from Utah to China, and to airplane explosions in Japan, etc. Boeing planes have been grounded there for inspections as an unaspected Uranus 'runs away' with current energies--yet Uranus is the focal planet in the Mars/Pluto midpoint picture, and is associated with electromagnetic weaponry, lightening, technology, and creative genius.

May the shuttle Endeavor's early return escape the violent influences of Hurricane Dean and of instigators of all stripes.


But back to Canada's 2-day summit:

Protesters have been out since yesterday prior to Bush's arrival for some Canadians see this 'partnership' as a threat to Canadian sovereignty being led by the US.

Agreed, but in this case it takes three to tango, my Canadian friends, for No Borders are respected by Chiron-Uranus Types in Government.

With PM Stephen Harper and Mexican president Felipe Calderon categorized as "conservatives" and "free trade advocates" (supposedly more so than their recent predecessors) it seems the North American Union globalist plans are grinding along nicely and with better shills now in place.

Nixon's resignation: 33rd anniversary

Thursday, Aug 9 is the 33rd anniversary of Richard Nixon's resignation from the Office of the Presidency.

Here's Nixon's resignation letter sent to Sec of State, Henry Kissinger on Aug 9, if you've never seen it. Someone wrote "11.35 AM" upon it (seems to be initials, "HK") so I'm looking at a chart for Aug 9, 1974, 11:35 am edt, White House.

Shouldn't Bush be taking a page from Nixon's White House stationnery by now? you ask.

At Nixon's resignation, tr Saturn (13Can22) was conjunct America's n Sun which represents the leader in a nation's chart. Saturn brings along lessons, accountability, and may bring loss based on past actions which are opened to review. (But Saturn rewards long-term effort where it's deserved!)

With Nixon's n Saturn (27Tau29) in 9th house and n Pluto (28Gem39) in 10th house of Public Status/Career, a fall from grace based on irresponsibility (misuse of authority...Saturn does not like that) and abuse of power within Career (Pluto) wasn't written in stone--our charts are not, y'know--we choose how to use what we were born with--but it would've taken a stronger, more self-aware individual to fight against the temptations of power than Mr. Nixon possessed.

His proud Sun Cap/Moon AQ personality blend gave him a need to always be in control to the point of torment, and much emotional insecurity with a deep fear of rejection. He was deeply suspicious of everyone, as we know, and had an ability for ignoring people and matters which didn't interest him.

His AQ Moon indicates a detached mother, Cap Sun shows an authoritative, perhaps cold, father...not a very cozy childhood, and it's debatable how helpful his early religious training was to him emotionally. He never got over his sense of inferiority--and the only other n planet above the horizon in his birth chart is nebulous Neptune (24Can46) in 11th house of Groups and Associations.

I suppose you could say his secretive, 11th house Neptune 'served' him as he colluded with the White House "plumbers" and their Dem spying/burgling plans which resulted in the Watergate scandal. Of course, the full-of-lies Vietnam War was underneath it all, as the Iraq War is underneath Bush-Cheney's impeachment troubles (among other things--there's much to choose from with this crew, the worst we've ever seen.)

Sounds like his final journey from the White House when it wasn't so certain that he would not be prosecuted. My guess is that he was glad to be saying farewell without a stripedy suit upon his back, and I remember that day, seeing him on TV, saying buh-bye, which brought me to tears.

This sad, pathetic excuse of a president had ruined my favorite city--I lived in D.C. during Watergate, and the pall that Nixon cast over the city hung over us like a wet blanket of corruption. My tears were deeply sad for 'my' beautiful city, but were also tears of relief to see him go.

Buh-bye, indeed, but save your 'victory' signs for something more honorable. (Crooked presidents make me mad-as-a-wet-hen, then as now.)

And so, as Bush-Cheney and their chickenhawk pals weather the storm of distrust they have brought upon themselves--and with America's safety valve of the Impeachment process undermined by the charade that was Bill Clinton's impeachment--Saturn's Return to conjunction with the US n Sun (after nearing it beginning in the second half of Oct 2003) was exact June 10, 2004...therefore, Saturn conjuncted Bush's n Sun in June 2004 as well.

My question is: what are we waiting for?

The above quote from Gore Vidal has inspired me to look yet again at the chart for the Jupiter (R-Party)--Saturn (D-Party) conjunction of May 28, 2000 through which the world is now slogging (Jup/Sat = 20 year cycle)--and what a pretty picture it is when the Rs and Ds coordinated yet again to bolster joint plans and make arrangements to sock it to The People.

Jupiter conj Saturn:

Using May 28, 2000, 12:02 pm edt, White House, the Great Conjunction of Jupiter (expansion principle) and Saturn (restriction principle) took place at Midheaven, the WHY? or Goal/Aspirations Point of the chart.

With MC 22Tau22, this gives three midpoint pictures to consider:

Jup/Sat = MC: thinking with grandeur; the philosopher; fluctuating success; changes; losses.

Jup/MC = Saturn: discontent; a happy change; non-utilization of opportunities; a missing of the right moment; cautious pursuit of opportunities; respect for the rules; long-lasting endeavors pay off with long-lasting rewards.

Sat/MC = Jupiter: changing fortunes; clinging to hopes or trying to look at the good side of things; simplicity; modesty (!); contentment; doing things right or how they are expected to be done; keeping things as they are or changing things to how they should be done for maximum security.

Pallas, an asteroid whose keywords include strategy, is at the Aug 11, 1999 Solar Eclipse degree of 18Leo+ (that's Nostradamus' King of Alarm Eclipse), which is also vengeful Venus' degree on the morning of 9/11/01.

Opposite Pallas is asteroid, Cupido, from which we get the word, cupidity, meaning, desire for wealth. Asteroid, Cupido also relates to the community or family groups (which would include the Syndicate and the mafia.)

The chart's 8th cusp (money of others, debt, insurance, legacies, credit, transformations; death; the occult/"hidden") has secretive, obfuscating, dissolving Pisces upon it (using Placidus House system which I tend to stick with unless looking at charts from centuries ago--then Regiomantanus--that's just how I roll.)

Within 8th house we see the Moon (The People; the public; publicity; changes and fluctuations) at 3Aries14. Whenever I see an Aries Moon, I always think of terror-promoter Robespierre and his love of saying, I AM the people.

But back to the 2000 conjunction--and here's where it gets really icky...

Also at MC (Goals; Aspirations; WHY?) with Jupiter and Saturn are two asteroids of archetypal importance esp when you consider what's go on since 2000.

Sigma: keyphrases: good judgement, moral sanity leading to moderation, temperance, and self-control; restraint. 'Sigma' stands for Greek goddess, Sophrosyne, and is of philosophical significance (as are the Jupiter-Saturn combo.)

Wonder what happened there? Moral sanity and moderation were their Goals? Puh! More like their goals to destroy.

Perhaps the addition of this particular and difficult 2nd asteroid understandably complicates the picture for everyone...so that it's more like:

Nemesis: keyphrases: to give what is due; one who brings justice or revenge; a source of harm or ruin; a fatal divinity; retributive justice in its outcome or execution; an inescapable punishment for human presumption; an unbeatable opponent (Bush's 'election'? al Qaeda's rise? Jupiter conjuncted Saturn for al Qaeda, too.)

So this is what the 'New Millennium' has brought us so far, in good part thanks to our illusory, deceptive "two-party system" which royally s*cks. And they have the audacity and presumption to call themselves the elite !

"The same folks that are bombing innocent people in Iraq were the ones who attacked us in America on September the 11th, and that's why what happens in Iraq matters to the security at home."

He refers to himself and his compadres.

My fret is that his stalling until September for Petraeus' magic report gives them time to plan and execute something "at home" to upset the status quo--and that that will be the result of all this dramatic forcing of a feral varmint like him into a corner.

Reopen 911 is a member of the 911 Truth movement and you'll find that Christine Boutin said last year that Bush is behind 911.

But since it takes at least two to tango, it's my belief that Cheney was the...shall we say, ramrod, of the plot.

Then there's the Sabian Symbol, a word picture which can be surprisingly descriptive of a person or event...the word picture for the Rising degree (the WHAT? of the chart, the horizon, what's coming up) at 8:46 am edt, NYC, 9/11/01 is:

(I had removed this chart from the 2006 post due to legal considerations which turned out to be no problemo and I've meant to republish it, so with the current heated-up calls for Cheney's Impeachment (and Bush's) it seems like a good Monday to do just that, so here ya go, if you haven't had a gander at the chart before. Even so, you do remember 9/11.)

Sometimes a chart can look chilling...this one's frozen and petrified all at the same time, isn't it?

So as you know, the blending of Pluto/Chiron energies results in oppression, racism, kicking the disenfranchised when they're down, class warfare, predatory lending, and in a word, plutocracy. Vulturing Vulcans, descended from or friends of the robber baron classes, or as they prefer to be called, the elite.

Once again I mention the date of the Great Pluto/Chiron conjunction: Dec 30, 1999 which ushered in the much-hyped New Millenium for the plutocrats to go hog wild and have at it. And the two heavy weights, Pluto and Chiron, were parallel (similar to a strong conjunction and invaluable for timing purposes) for Two Days in Mid-August of 2004.

You can be sure I didn't want to spend the morning thinking about the 61-year-old cuss infesting the White House but our crook-in-chief has only one birthday per year, so here goes.

Sol returned to natal degree at 12:56 am edt today with Sun conj IC indicating a pivotal year which will be esp eventful the first few months. (In other charts there are some indications of danger to his nibs in August and September but if he makes it through September, he'll be resonably home free.)

Natal Jupiter 18Lib09 is conj DESC (others; partners) as is US secondary progressed Mars, now Rx. "19Lib" is the "Gang of robbers in hiding" degree (Sabian Symbols in Astrology, Dr. Marc Edmund Jones.)

This angular connection highlights Bush's extravagant and ostentatious natal Sun/Jupiter square, an aspect that wants to accomplish too much too fast and which resorts to egotism as a defense mechanism. "Foolish optimism" is another unfortunate result of having a Sun/Jupiter square.

One thing we always consider in a Solar Return chart is the Sun's applying aspects to see how the year may progress:

1. Sun inconj Chiron: this is the loaded stick of dynamite aspect mentioned in the US Solar Return just below.

2. Sun QD Pluto: this is the ruthless, manipulative, intimidating "focused on success" aspect...perfect for a politician.

Mars makes no applying aspects to the SR's planets, but he does sextile NN (helpful opportunities for his projects), and trines MC--his aspirations and goals for the year will gain support from Mars. Are so-called insurgents keeping him in office?


SR's Sun/Pluto midpoint is conj Bush's n Neptune so we see:

Sun/Pluto = Neptune: vocation or health are undermined; impressionability, sensitivity; lack of vigor; physical or mental impediments. (This picture is in SR 6th house of work, service, and health--and in natal 3rd house which also has a health connotation.)

There are only two midpoint pics in the SR chart and both point to NN (North Node = the path; destiny; encounters; associations):

Jupiter expands the oppressive, plutocratic Pluto/Chiron pairing. He's a foolishly optimistic 'man on a mission' with a messianic complex, a virtual Sisyphus for Globalism.
