8 South themes will affect Election 2024

'Wild Card' Eclipses, Historical and Political Events

News has gotten around that yet another Great American Eclipse will manifest in the 8 North Saros Series on April 8, 2024 @19Ari24 conjunct wounded healer Chiron at the same position. This is the third of three such solar eclipses, total and visible across the United States beginning in Texas. Most folks remember the previous Great American Eclipse of August 21, 2017 @28Leo52 conjunct Regulus, the 'kingmaker' star that rises in the natal horoscope of D. John Trump (if his 10:54 am est birth time is accurate). He demonstrated his Apollo rising with royal Regulus and aggressive Mars when he removed safety glasses and looked directly at the total eclipse as if he's a "sun god" (in his own mind). Yet as you know, Leo is one of the signs of royalty (pride and vanity).

Even so, no one alive remembers the very first Great American Eclipse of 1878. So here's a previous SO'W post from 2022 concerning all three eclipses, all total, all visible within the U.S.

And yet this post isn't about these eclipses, it's about the 8 South Eclipse of October 2, 2024 for it's the one that will influence Election 2024 and Inauguration 2025 with 8S themes of "loss; separation; partings; to finish something and feel sad at its completion; possible physical injury through overstrain"; take it easy (paraphrasing B. Brady's Predictive Astrology #ad). Here are DC Horoscopes of 8 South Eclipses with their aspect grids:

Shown above are both horoscopes of 8 South Eclipses set for DC: first, its initial Eclipse of May 16, 1501 @4Gem51 which provides the lens through which to consider all subsequent 8 South Eclipses via its Mercury-ruled sign of Gemini and applied to the upcoming 8 South Eclipse in Venus-ruled Libra, also an Air sign. Gemini: news, communication, oration, trade, teaching; and Libra: diplomacy, beauty, relationships, and the Scales of Justice.

Notably, 10Libra03 lands squarely inside Trump's natal 2nd hou$e and within his trio of Neptune-Chiron-Jupiter with its grand scheme, fraud, and speculation influences. And as the entire world knows, Big Donald is now within a period of being held accountable for the first time in his life.

Meanwhile, in Political Astrology, the initial and upcoming 8 South eclipses suggest that their combined Mercury-Venus influences are worth pondering within the Hegelian Dialectic model aptly used by Michael Munkasey:

Thesis: A mixture of business and society; beautification programs for highways; news about the status of wealth; social psychology, the study of people.

Antithesis: a business sector at odds with society; speeches which emhasize economic facts; propaganda about the ease and quality of life; debates on added costs; a transportation system that places beauty over function. (Paraphrasing, Midpoints: Unleashing the Power of the Planets, M.M. #ad).

You recognize that some of these Mercury-Venus potentials are operative now, don't you? And last but not least, when solar eclipses occur in Air signs, logic must be placed about personal biases and emotional attitudes - and judgments must be based on facts and truth (R. Lineman). If karmic progress is the goal.

One more Eclipse Note: 8 South Eclipses have also manifested in the years 1916, 1934, 1952, 1970, 1988, 2006, (2024), and next in 2042 @21Libra, which by degree will stimulate or activate themes of the 7 South Eclipse of October 14, 2023 which is in effect as as I type this post. Repetitions of eclipses are so that humanity has opportunities to handle events and conditions better the next time around.

May-June 2024: A Lucky Donald Trump?

Anyone familiar with the natal planets of one Donald Trump are aware of his "lucky" trine between his 2nd house Jupiter Stationary @17Libra and his 10th house Uranus @17Gemini, his guiding planet of chaos and disruption. The aspect seems to have made possible a so-called get out of jail free card for his use at various times in life (out of trouble certainly) and their fortunate energies may be able to create 'the magic' once again.

Adding to the pair's energies of lucky breaks and break-throughs, there's also the upcoming Jupiter-Uranus Conjunction in money sign Taurus which perfects on April 20, 2024 @21Tau50--near Trump's natal Midheaven ('MC')--as luck would have it.

Above you see a dual image of two horoscopes: May 1, 2024 (lower left) at the moment transit Jupiter conjuncts Trump's natal Midheaven @24Tau18 (but does so only once this time around in its nearly 12-year cycle) with its optimism and international career and travel opportunities, and June 3, 2024 (upper right) the first of three times that transit Uranus reaches his natal MC with the planet's quirky tendencies toward changes in career, perhaps to the point of a catalyzing him into taking a new direction professionally and/or in relation to his public status.

This Uranian transit period is extended due to retrogradation, and the other two dates are penned on the chart: December 10, 2024 and March 21, 2025, aka, Spring Equinox 2025.

Now several potentials are added to the charts and include significant health indicators (exs: Moon-NN = immune system; lymphatic system; tonsils, spleen; and ASC 13Virgo = esophagus and ASC 2Gemini = hepatic arteries)). There are other health indications as well but no room on the image to list them.

Simultaneously, there are his visible career and public status difficulties and strains due to the multiple legal and felonious jams he's in.

And no, this career criminal doesn't deserve to skate from accountability but that's the point of displaying these two horoscopes: the blighter is a lucky guy with friends in high places--however, unsavory, complicit, and enabling they may be. So spotlighting these are dates are meant for those following 'the trials' of Donald J. Trump. Not for his sake, but because he's America's albatross and our country's destiny is tragically tied to his.

Elise Stefanik July 2, 1984

From the Wikipedia page of Republican congress member Elise Stefanik we learn that she was born July 2, 1984 in Albany, New York, with Sun in Cancer, Moon in either Leo or Virgo, and under the restrictive rays of a 4 North Solar Eclipse.

So below, without a known birth hour and a mispelled surname (mea culpa!), is what little I can ascertain about Trump supporter Elise Stefanik based on a noon natal horoscope; note that Stefanik has done a complete one-eighty concerning the J6 insurrection/coup attempt and now shills on behalf of D. John Trump and wants to be Trump's running mate, says a recent op-ed in The Guardian:

Three times of late transit Saturn, planet of law, the legal system, restriction, limitation, and karma has conjoined the 7 North "Fascism Rising Eclipse" of February 24, 1933 @5Pis28:30. The third 'hit' by Saturn occurred early this morning in Washington DC, and best outcome will be our legal system stopping the violent orange fascist in his despotic hoof tracks.

Now as you see, my study notes are penned on the bi-wheel but I'll add that, in our era, the first and second conjunctions of Saturn to the 7 North Eclipse of 1933 occurred on May 1, 2023 and August 4, 2023, with today's third Saturn conjunction suggesting a potential for the resolution of issues which include (blood -jc) lust:

Multiple Cosmic Time Links via 7 North Eclipses

Dealing with Trump and his comrades and their well known dependency on violence, we have Special Prosecutor Jack Smith who just happens to have been born under the auspices of a 7 North Eclipse, a significant cosmic time link between current events and the prosecution of Trump. Another cosmic time link involving 7 North Eclipses is the fact that a repetition of 7N manifested on April 20, 2023 @29Aries+ - conjunct the degree of warrior planet Mars during Trump's January 6, 2021 coup attempt against the US Congress and our traditional peaceful transfer of power. Obviously, Mars conjunct a solar eclipse suggests rash actions, criminality, and acts of violence. This connection is one of the reasons I've termed the 1933 and 2023 7 North Eclipses as a signifier of "blood" lust. Another reason is its conjunction with Herr Adolf's natal Sun @00Taurus.

Senator Sinema is a Moon-Saturn Kind of Gal

So far these last few years, I've managed to avoid publishing the natal horoscope of former Democrat, now "Independent" Senator Kyrsten Sinema. But with her name in the news again in relation to US-Mexico border issues, her natal Moon-Saturn opposition across the self-willed Leo-Aquarius polarity - which lands upon America's 1776 Nodal Axis - may be worth a review if one hasn't previously. Actually, that would be yours truly, for I've ignored her disloyalty and money-grabbing activities in Congress as often as possible.

Now if memory serves, Sinema's childhood is known to have been a difficult one of poverty, as many others have been. One indication of this in her chart is the Moon-Saturn opposition between Mummy and Daddy, if we want to consider it on such a level with emotional deprivation part of the lunar picture. Thing is, this opposition tends to affect health but can simultaneously provide the individual with a deep urge for wordly accomplishment, or in other words, it suggests a highly ambitious nature. Self-reliance comes along with it and can often give a loner personality and an independent streak.

My concern now is Election 2024, the changes it will bring, and the fact that Sinema's natal Moon conjuncts US South Node (fluctuating popularity; emotional disengagement) while her Saturn conjuncts US North Node (public responsibility; contacts with more mature folk such as senators). Now I agree that her 10th house of Career and Public Status is stunningly full of her Sun, Mercury, Venus, and Saturn so chances are we're not rid of her just yet, no matter what career path she decides to take. Lucrative lobbying seems to attract but may not be prominent enough to suit her ambitions. After all, her money-bags planet Jupiter is in the 8th house of Big Business and Shared Resources, while erratic Uranus and North Node, a duo of radical politics, rise in 1st house of Self, making the highly intelligent Kyrsten Sinema definitely a woman to watch - and a difficult woman to fathom or predict!

Meanwhile, Republicans continue calling conditions at the Southern border a "crisis" of national security yet they refuse to cooperate on a solution because it would benefit President Biden and other Democrats. Selfish much?! Well, one must wonder just how security-minded Republicans are - if they are.

And so admittedly, if Kyrsten Sinema can somehow loosen the political log jam concerning Southern border issues, I'll have to change my view of the quirky Senator from Arizona.

Stormy Daniels at the Hush Money Trial

Now Donald Trump won't like this news at all, but Stormy Daniels says she's set to testify in Trump's Hush Money Trial currently set for March 25, 2024. Note that on March 25, 2024 comes a Lunar Eclipse @5Lib07 - conjunct Trump's natal Neptune so obviously, information concerning scandals, financial payments, secrets, and/or fraud will be revealed, plus, there may even be a mention of cults with urge-to-merge Neptune involved.

Because as you know, Stormy (aka, Stephanie Clifford) was one of the recipients of thousands of dollars in October 2016 intended to keep her quiet about Trump's extramarital activities with her because the November 2016 Election was upcoming and a sex scandal could look bad for candidate Trump. Not that his adulterous behavior was bad, but the scandal would have been a bad look for the aging orange playboy just days before the 2016 election.

Like Oil and Water, Politics and Religion Do Not Mix

So thanks to Stormy Daniels, the best information I've found explaining Trump's Cult of Personality and his profane mix of politics and religion is the podcast episode of Stormy's interview with Dr. Steven Hassan, well known cult deprogrammer and author of the 2020 book, The Cult of Trump (#ad).

Well, if Trump is in any way "the chosen one" as he's been told and promoted by evangelicals, then they're being tested and these misguided cult followers have failed America and the world miserably. According to the Bible I've read since childhood, Herr T is a false prophet, more like. For as you know, the Bible predicts false prophets arising in Earth's latter days. You know - like one year ago in the desert at Trump's first campaign stop, a rally at Waco, Texas where the tragic Siege at Waco took place in 1993. We should note that skewed cult leader 'David Koresh' considered himself a prophet, too. The Trump rally 'celebrated' the anniversary of the carnage of 1993.

Now Dr. Hassan says that leaders of cults such as the Christian Nationalists, Moonies, The Family, the 7 Mountain Dominionists (like Maga Mike Johnson), Opus Dei, and others have instructed their members to gather beneath the gloriousness that is Trump on his path to ultimate political power where religionists think they can 'reform' the United States of America into a paternalistic theocracy, handmaids in the kitchen. And perhaps their advice to flock to Trump is so that their shared dream of ending our world can come true sooner rather than later, they think - as if Almighty God needs their puny help with timing issues! Paradoxically, a gold-worshiping man like Trump lays up his treasure on the Earth, therefore, ending this world cannot possibly be his goal. Oil and water do not mix!

Magical Thinking Fits His "Power of Positive Thinking"

Now as you know, Trump's accepted natal horoscope shows a 2nd house Jupiter-Neptune Conjunction in Venus-ruled Libra which just happens to have Wounded Chiron in the center of the magical thinking duo. This suggests that some kind of wounding occurred to his grand schemes/grand spirit/speculation/bubbly pair of Jupiter (stationary and boundary-breaking) and Neptune, so often a planet of fraud and deception. This means that every Jupiter Return for him and every transiting or progressed aspect between the two planets (their last conjunction April 12, 2022 @23Pis59--still in effect until their next conjunction March 24, 2035 @21Ari21) may ping his 2nd house trio into taking action such as overblown rhetorical flourishes and/or the promotion of financial schemes.

Meanwhile, back in 2022, when we discussed the Magical Thinking of Jupiter-Neptune and the duo's connection to overblown rhetoric, unfulfilled promises, grand schemes (religious, financial, and otherwise), and "unfounded or foolish legal situations" (M. Munkasey) I had no inkling that in 2024 the news would surface that the Cult of Trump, a death cult similar to the Nazi Death Cult of the 1930s and 40s, would so intimately involve magical thinking with multiple cult leaders having instructed their members to gather under the tent of the Trump Cult of Personality. For some folks, Chiron symbolizes the priesthood, too, and so certain groups have banded together behind Trump, the so-called "chosen one," to forcefully fulfill their shared goal, but they are being utilized as a tool by the political class who have their own power-grabbing purposes - and they have wealthy backers to please.
