White House press secretary Sarah Huckabee Sanders was born on August 13, 1982 in Hope, Arkansas, hour unknown. Let's look at her 'noon' natal horoscope to glean a bit of cosmic information concerning Sarah Sanders, daughter of former AR governor, Mike Huckabee:

Now the earliest possible position for her natal Moon is 29Tau47 (conjunct Midas!) so the chances are good that her natal Moon is in Gemini. However, below are the weaknesses of both Sun Leo-Moon Taurus and Sun Leo-Moon Gemini personality blends for the sake of comparison and because emotionally she seems to have more of a stubborn Taurean streak than that of a bright, witty, butterfly-like Gemini. Astro-Notes: Senator-Elect Doug Jones

December 13, 2017: As you've heard, last night Democratic candidate Doug Jones was elected to the US Senate by Alabama residents who thereby voted their state into the 21st century. Of course, Jones' opponent in the Special Election, the controversial Roy Moore, intends to contest election results if there's any basis for doing so (exs: military votes have yet to be counted, a difference of less than 1/2% will automatically trigger a re-count--and voting Mercury is retrograde now).

Contested, re-counted, or final, let's see what can be gleaned from a speculative natal horoscope for Doug Jones--speculative since no birth time is known so 'noon' is used but with a 24-hour range of degrees for natal Sun and Moon. Yet a few chart factors are knowable even without correct timing of his birth. For instance, Mercury in Taurus (logical thinking) and Venus in Gemini (courtesy and cooperation, a desire for discussion) are in Mutual Reception and thus 'friendly' with one another.

Born May 4, 1954 in Fairfield, Alabama (Jefferson County), attorney Doug Jones is known for trying and convicting the Klansmen who blew up four little girls in church in 1963 (for which I say, Major Kudos to Mr. Jones!) During the recent senate campaign, attempts to paint him by Trump and others as soft on 'law and order' rang hollow to me, and apparently did so for many voters in Alabama--some who were uncomfortable voting for an alleged sexual predator of young girls, even a Republican one named Roy Moore.

The 24-hour period of May 4, 1954 shows the Sun (conscious mind) ranging from 13Tau14 to 14Tau12 and Moon (the unconscious/emotions) from 3Gem02 to 17Gem45. The last Lunar position conjoins Trump's natal Uranus, his guiding planet of quirkiness and cantankerousness in the sign of communications--while simultaneously conjoining the Uranus of Roy Moore, all at 17Gemini+.

Doug Jones: Earth and Air

His is an Earth-Air combo of rationality, efficiency, and innovation supported by an efficient Mars in Saturn-ruled Capricorn (6Cap30 at noon). However, Earth-Air blends have a tendency to become 'dry as dust' and give little attention to the emotional and/or intangible sides of life and may 'blow hot and cold' emotionally which can cause problems in close relationships. Yet this well-directed energy easily supports a career in law enforcement and, perhaps, in politics.

Doug Jones: Sun Taurus-Moon Gemini = 'earthy yet breezy'

Also rising at noon is the midpoint between Moon and Saturn, a signature of ambition and strategy (Tyl). Moon-Saturn = Pluto suggests potentials for 'rising in life by force, a need for self-reliance, the threat of loss' (attorneys must feel this constantly), and, added by yours truly: ambition (Moon-Saturn) for power (Pluto). Last night he achieved this goal, if it sticks until his swearing in to Congress in early January 2018.

Another revealing midpoint picture which stays in effect for the 24 hours of his birth date is Pluto-NN = Saturn suggesting an ability to read people (Munkasey), fighting against oppression (as in the 1963 church bombing case), and truculence and rebelliousness (Ebertin). To this picture I would add powerful connections (Pluto-NN) to authority figures (Saturn). And of course, law-abiding Saturn also represents lawmakers such as those on Capitol Hill, and Pluto-NN contains a "tiger by the tail" flavor.

Now let's close for now with the Prenatal Solar Eclipse Saros Series into which Doug Jones was born. A 'noon' horoscope for Melania Knavs Trump reveals a double Earth personality blend of Sun Taurus-Moon Capricorn and describes a lady who is down-to-earth, logical, traditional, and has a need for security. A formal quality may be noticed along with her ambitious, realistic Capricorn Moon. How her innate sense of realism manages to deal with a Mercury-Neptune-square fellow like her reality-challenged Gemini husband is unknown. It couldn't be easy! Unless he only pretends to be worse than he is (fancies himself a thespian, y'know).

Sun Tau-Moon Sag would give the pair of Trumps a shared Moon sign, it's true, but would also give her a restless, flighty personality (Sun Tau-Moon Sag) which I do not believe she has (though you may disagree). Of course, this area of the Zodiac (29Sag-1Cap) denotes publicity (Moon) on the World Stage (00Cap00, one of the four Cardinal World Points of fame and fortune).

Tillerson and Trump: Two Mercury-Neptune Dudes

Donald Trump's Secretary of State Rex Wayne Tillerson, former CEO of ExxonMobil (2006--2016), was born in Wichita Falls, Texas on March 23, 1952. On that date, the Sun ranged from 2Ari33 to 3Ari32 and the Moon traveled from 27AQ47 to 12Pis16 which creates two possible Sun-Moon blends--either his is a Fire-Air personality of rationality, efficiency, and innovation, or a steamy, volatile Fire-Water personality that can scald as well as cleanse. Mr. Tillerson's Prenatal Eclipse themes are noted, below.

Setting up synastry grid between the natal charts of Mr. Trump and Mr. Tillerson shows a quite a few squares between their planets along with other contacts, of course. If curious, you'll find basic bio details concerning Mr. Trump's Svengali Kellyanne Elizabeth Conway (nee, Fitzpatrick) on Wikipedia such as the fact that she was born on January 20, 1967 in Camden, New Jersey. Yes, Inauguration Day 2017 marks her 50th birthday! IMDb also has a brief bio about her which gives her birth place as Atco, NJ, 16 miles southeast of Camden.

Now without an accurate birth time I hesitate to embed Mrs. Conway's natal horoscope here but perhaps we might consider her Sun @29Capricorn or 00Aquarius and Moon in Taurus (for the 24-hour period). And we don't need a birth time to check out her Prenatal Eclipse Saros Series (PE) for a smidgen of insight into this highly accomplished lady who will soon accompany Mr. Trump into the White House with her Sun conjunct America's Inaugural Sun (00AQ+), and perhaps her natal Mercury conjoining it as well (00AQ50--2AQ31). Plus, if born around noon with her Moon in mid-Taurus, then Luna conjoins US Inauguration Ascendant which is the Oath of Office itself.

So during the 24 hours of January 20, 1967, the odds are that Mrs. Conway's Sun is in very early Aquarius rather than at the very end of ambitious Capricorn but let's consider the Image for Integration and a few traits of both Sun-Moon combinations in case one seems more descriptive of the lady.

Pragmatic, matter-of-fact Earth-Earth Sun Cap-Moon Taurus: "A wealthy grandfather opens a savings account for his granddaughter on her day of birth; she later becomes a famous artist, inherits a fortune and makes her own." Now Kellyanne Conway was born into the 4 South Solar Eclipse Series, not the most favorable series for anyone with its themes of 'strong emotional feelings concerning relationships and/or finances; anger or lust; a sense of fate within relationship events that are beyond control; a sudden urge to end a relationship; blocked emotions and a great deal of frustration; avoid rash actions while the eclipse is in effect' (paraphrasing Brady's Predictive Astrology).

For Conway, 4 South manifested at a difficult degree: 19 Scorpio, conjunct a malefic fixed star Alpha Serpentis (aka, Unukalhai) which can bring tragedy, misfortune, success followed by a fall, and weighty legal entanglements. Now I don't know if this star has expressed in her life in the past but having an eclipse conjoining this degree strengthens potentials--and to make matters more disturbing, another star conjoins the 19th degree of Scorpio, North Scale. This star tends to add wealth, distinction, honors, and intelligence to the mix yet may also indicate a tendency toward hasty words that cause problems, violence, and/or war. However, good organizing ability is also supplied and she has certainly demonstrated such talent in her political career.

To put Mrs. Conway's 4 South PE in historical and cyclical context, it has manifested in the years 1912, 1930, 1948, 1966 (hers), 1984, and 2002, and will repeat next in the highly significant year of 2020.

Laura Bush, in an attempt to defend her husband's SCHIP stance and his oily foreign policy says she's more involved in policy than previously known which is no comfort considering how things have gone since Bush coup'd the White House.

Since my move-along needs to get along, there's no time for much, but here's Mrs Bush's natal chart (rating: B) with its out-of-bounds and Rx Venus as chart-ruler. It's also a Venus Hour, with n Venus at the "Grand Army of the Republic campfire" degree. Guess she's serious about being involved--although she's been instructed to steer clear of such topics as Iraq and Iran.

Her Pre-Natal Eclipse Series (2 New North) is same as her husband's. If you're familiar with the Tarot, you'll know all about Number 16, The Tower, with its collapse of plans and lifestyles, and the rebuilding and reshaping that begins after the dust settles--with far-reaching effects.

Sounds exactly like 9/11 doesn't it? Yet the 2NN Series manifested July 31, 2000...3 days after the Jupiter (Rs) conjunction with Saturn (Ds) at "9Leo", conjunct the natal Mercuries of George Bush, Al Gonzales, and the Republican Party...and very near Bush's n ASC (7Leo07.)

So the attacks of 9/11 occurred after the next Solar Eclipse (2South), the PE Series of Woodrow Wilson and of Ronald Reagan.

But if the BLOGGER photo non-posting situation clears up here I'll improve this situation asap, otherwise, this is the only end-run I can come up with for now to solve the disembodied chart/text fiasco...at least you can have a gander at the chart with just one click!

Sunday 12.3.06: Well, this is annoying. After being under the weather the last few days, I'm almost recoup'd and wanting to post Alexander Litvinenko's natal sunrise chart along with Nov 1 transits added, but BLOGGER is having none of it.

Although I tried several times and BLOGGER seems to upload the image, there's no image there. So I'm publishing this anyway and will return later in the afternoon to (hopefully) add the image of the poor man's chart with his day-of-poisoning transits written in.

XXXX UPDATE March 24 2008: the links to this article and the next are no longer available oddly enough...even though U.K. supposedly widened their 'probe' of the ex-spy's heinous poisoning which brought U.K. investigators to the US, to interview former KGB officer Yuri Shvets in Virginia. Um-hmm.

Per request, I'm publishing Alexander Litvinenko's natal sunrise chart, birth time unknown, and have written in my usual chicken scratch around the outside the transits for Nov 1, 2006, day of his poisoning, Sun at Mc at "9Sco": "Dental work."

As mentioned in a recent post, we see transit Venus in Scorpio, sign of spies and betrayal, on the verge of forming her Return to Litvinenko and to Putin's natal Venus--for they share Venus in the 11-13 Scorpio range--part of the Via Combusta, the burning way (15 Libra--15Scorpio.)

This area of the zodiac was considered in ancient times to be esp unfortunate due to the large number of malignant stars in the first half of Scorpio, but because of precession, Via Combusta is seldom used in modern times. The usual exception would be with horary astrology--the answering of specific questions.

Concerning the natal chart of Litvinenko (AL) we see an out-of-bounds Mercury in Sagittarius, and an Oriental Neptune--the planet rising just before the Sun. This indicates a person who is able to be or seem whatever his surroundings need him to be...a cameleon, a handy trait to have when engaged in espionage.

AL's prenatal eclipse series is 19North, a series which began July 5, 1331.
