Perseids peak 8.12.09 and warriors abound

Space Weather News for August 11, 2009

The Perseid meteor shower is about to peak. The show begins after sunset on Tuesday, August 11, and continues until the sun rises on Wednesday, August 12. A time of particular interest is 0800-0900 GMT (1-2 am PDT) on the 12. That's when Earth is expected to pass through a denser-than-usual filament of dust from Perseid parent Comet Swift-Tuttle.

Forecasters are unsure what will happen, but some have speculated that meteor rates could surge as high as 200 per hour. Bright moonlight will blot out many of those Perseids, but even a fraction of 200 is a good show.

As you remember, the constellation Perseus is called, The Prince. The brightest star in Perseus is Mirfak (Alpha Perseus); keywords: young male energy. Perseus is the young warrior proud of his strength. Listening to the wisdom of others or being cautious isn't part of the script for Perseus who may overestimate his physical prowess.

Beta Perseus is none other than the raging star, Algol; keywords: intense female passion. Algol isn't always a negative influence, but an unconscious compulsion to take revenge is mankind's usual application of its energy when connected to planets in a chart.

Algol has a partner, another difficult star - a cluster actually - in Perseus, Capulus; keywords: male kundalini energy. Ruthlessness and savagery are often seen with this faint fellow who nevertheless is very action-oriented.

(On one level, these currently emphasized energies bring to mind townhall shouters and rioters across America!)

Yes, all three stars can make for a destructive team, yet their energies may be used positively, too, for clear and focused action. For as it often is, it's motivation that makes all the difference.

You will, of course, note 'baraka' and its close similarity to Barack (Obama); it sounds to me as if the president isn't top dog in the power department - unless the Eclipse' energy is used on a spiritual level! And 'overshadowed' reminds me of Sun, Moon, and Venus being overshadowed by Dark Moon W'mat2, a point that's difficult to find details on. I believe it stands for astronomer Walter Matthews, but I can't locate again the website with this info. Perhaps you can sleuth it out and let me know if you find anything.

As you see, there are more things happening in the Northern Hemisphere of the chart, thus in private, with only Mars and Saturn in the public sector.

Chart-ruler Mars 15Leo17 Rx in 9th house; co-ruler Pluto 3Cap49 conjunct Mercury 5Cap34 Rx in 2nd house of Values, Money, Earning Ability. Mercury and Pluto work well as a pair especially if you're fond of propaganda and persuasive speaking and writing - here on money matters and values (2nd house), and the spirit of opposition (politics.) This is the 'deep thoughts' combo, too, which can be cruel in its perceptions and in speech.

Affecting Mercury and Pluto is a transiting midpoint particular to this chart and Eclipse, a midpoint indicating instability and high receptivity: Neptune/ASC.

Nep/ASC = Mercury: deceiving oneself about other people's character; exploiting the weaknesses of others; taking the wrong path; malicious scheming; guided by wrong impressions; special perceptions; open to deception.

Nep/ASC = Pluto: an oppressive environment; difficulty tuning in; harm through deceit, libel, or malice coming from others. (All midpt pics from Tyl and Ebertin.)

And we can't forget Mercury's love of transport, trade, and commerce, or Pluto's links to wealth and manipulation - even 'transformative agreements' such as NAFTA may be on the menu with Mercury/Pluto, but Neptune will add confusion, deception, and possible loss from mergers (financial and otherwise) as 'free trade' agreements and secret deals affect the masses (Neptune.)

(Last manifestation: Jan 4, 1992 at 13Cap51 opposite US natal Sun. And Bill Clinton took over the helm in place of his pal, Poppy Bush.)

A Solar Eclipse in Capricorn implicates the sign's connections to law, government, business, and authority. And given the above flavor of the 12N Series blended with the chart's YOD pattern with Mc (Career; Public Status) as the area of manifestation - with asteroid Hygeia Rx there, too - I suspect a public figure may be felled by ill health, or possibly death. 'Rx' indicates to me that it's an ongoing medical condition which may get the best of someone.

Plus, Scorpio rising indicates medical or surgical concerns on the rise. Health Care Reform (or Medical Insurance Reform, whatever) is an obvious potential for the 12N Eclipse season of 2010 - and we may look back to its previous manifestation in 1992 and to the Clintons' attempts at reform!

~I also thought of Judge Sonia Sotomayor as she joins the SCOTUS in place of Justice David Souter, who couldn't or didn't want to 'carry on' - and yet that situation may pre-date the Eclipse by too long a time, even though one of the events brought by this Eclipse may be of a ceremonial nature. (I think Sotomayor's SC investment is set for Oct 8, 2009.)~

Yes, Capricorn is related to court systems, yet perhaps one of our ailing Capitol Hill politicians will give up an exalted position due to ill health (or med problems of a loved one.) Plus, YOD patterns can describe health crises...and there's health-related Hygeia at Mc being 'pointed to' by the YOD's base. The first midpoint to rise is difficult Saturn/Pluto, so we have...

Sat/Plu = ASC: sadness and mourning; placed in cumbersome circumstances.

A person of science and research (Cap's Saturn) may be described here as well; plus, Chiron (the wounded healer) is at Ic, opposing Hygeia. Ic is the Foundation of the chart and of the Eclipse, as you see; Ic is aka The Drain.

Speculators Jupiter and Neptune are in 4th house of Domestic Scene, with moneybags Jupiter at a crisis-ridden 29th degree (AQ.) How to pay for Health Care Reform? A 4th house disruptive rebel Uranus in contagious Pisces has no idea. But he might wish to interrupt someone's career all the same.

Then with Venus and Saturn ruling the Eclipse, a royal personage may become engaged or may marry, or otherwise take part in a public ceremony; Mars Rx is in royal Leo in the 9th house of Foreign Lands. Whatever occurs, the American public will hear much of it with the Eclipse falling in the 3rd house of Communications (in Washington, DC.)

Let's Close on a Somewhat Lighter Note:

The TV industry may be getting into the cosmic act with FlashForward, a new ABC series premiering on Thursday, Sept 24.

FlashForward's script involves a prophetic date as part of the storyline: April 29, 2010. You see, almost everyone on the planet loses consciousness and shares a collective 'glimpse of the future'...April 29, 2010, which makes 12N the Pre-Natal Eclipse Series of this imaginary prophetic date.

The production values of the program are said to be fabulous, and execs say they're making a commitment to perhaps 3 years' worth or more of episodes. Plus, having Joseph Fiennes in the cast won't hurt a bit, along with Dominic Monaghan and John Cho.

And though I don't think any of us need more Hollywood-esque 'end time disaster scenarios' to haunt our dreams, it will be interesting to see if the influence of 12N turns up in FlashForward's futuristic plot, weaving its spell as it digitally broadcasts in subliminal high-def.

Astrology of another Hudson River air plane disaster: 8.8.09

New York's Hudson River is once again involved in an air travel disaster as a small plane collided today with a sight-seeing helicopter.

Search and rescue efforts are ongoing, last I heard.

The small plane took off from the Teterboro Airport in Teaneck, NJ, today at 11:54 am edt, Hour of Mercury, planet of the wing'ed feet and helmet.

At 11:54 am edt, the Midheaven, the most visible point of any chart (the WHY? Point), is the degree of the July 21, 2009 Solar Eclipse at 29Can27 ('systems fail') along with the Moon's South Node, a point of separation, which is now triggering the Solar Eclipse manifestation.

A midpoint picture formed at 11:54 am edt in Teaneck, and may be of note bwo a T-Square...

Moon/Saturn = Mars ('19Gemini'): difficulty getting off the ground except by very careful strategically planned exertion of energy; the sense of real problems. (Tyl.)

Mock protests across US against Health Care Reform

Hopefully, MoveOn.org won't mind if I publish here the gist of their email of August 7 concerning Health Care Reform and the ramping up of what are, at least in part, planted protesters:

'Last night in Tampa, Florida, a town hall meeting erupted into violence, with the police being called to break up fist fights and shoving matches.

A Texas Democrat was shouted down by right-wing hecklers, many of whom admitted they didn't even live in his district.

One North Carolina representative announced he wouldn't be holding any town-hall meetings after his office began receiving death threats.

And in Maryland, protesters hung a Democratic congressman in effigy to oppose health-care reform.'

The health care industry should be ashamed, and the GOP, too. Where were these 'activists' when Bush and Cheney were running loose against the US Constitution, and bombing innocent women and children for oil and profits? Did that not bother them? Pres. Obama's continuance of Bush-Cheney's policies bothers me no end, though it was expected here.

And yes, I have mixed feelings about health care legislation in the New Millennium. It awaits further revelations as to whether the changes are really a part of the New World Order agenda through DNA/bloodline record searches, genetic research abominations and population control, online medical records at security risk, and other such potentials for abuse of power.

Still, I find current tactics such as 'burning in effigy' and 'death threats' to be distasteful in the extreme - unless they're done in protest against the coup of the US government by Enlightened Illuminatists.

Undermining a Democratic president is a an added bonus for the GOP, imo, along with protecting industry profits.

Grassley uses Kennedy's cancer to create more fear over Health Care Reform

The GOP is fighting tooth'n'nail now as Senator Chuck Grassley (R-IA) uses Ted Kennedy's advanced age and his brain tumor to fearmonger against Health Care Reform legislation.

Now it's true that "rationing" may turn out to be a problem if reform is passed, especially with the need for more doctors and nurses in this country. But the GOP has no concern that for millions of non-wealthy Americans, the US health care system works like a rationing system now when you are shut out from getting care at all, or get attention only when medical conditions are beyond improvement or care arrives too late.

Can anything be more vampirish and selfish than insurance companies keeping a person who's in need of life-saving care on tenterhooks and filing more forms until time - and their lives - run out? The suffering they cause should be shameful to them.

If corporations are people, too and people have consciences, should corporations get in line for conscience transplants? That's a fund I'd donate to, if necessary, and no rationing allowed.

As it stands, insurance companies 'ration' treatment in preference for the health of their bottom lines, not for those who've paid them premiums for years. In this case, 'rationing' is another word for weeding out the sick, poor, and aged...aka, population control. And they're determined to hold on to their ability to do it - as if it's their 'right' because they worship the god of profits.

Enter Chuck Grassley, stage right.

But that's my populist mindset. Obviously Grassley and the GOP - and some Democrats - see things quite differently through the lens of gold standard care, don't they?

Meanwhile, it's the American people paying the lion's share of congressional insurance premiums! As I've complained here previously: congressmembers should pay 100% of their health care premiums and costs...then we'll talk.

Brady's Book of Fixed Stars gives Fomalhaut's key phrase as: being humanitarian and poetic, and indicates that if Fomalhaut is linked to planet in your natal chart, you must be very clear and honest with yourself about the motives for your goals - and that 'personal glory' should not be your driving force.

Clues are given by the character of the planet in contact: Jupiter with ideals and expansion, Mercury with communications, thinking, and plans, Venus with relationships, romance, and values, etc.

Since I've been reading a good bit lately about Dragons in lore and myth, and because today is President Obama's birthday, I found a list of unusual birthday gifts for past presidents which may amuse but also give you gift ideas for your friends' upcoming birthdays.

Who received Naga, a Komodo dragon, in 1990? Why, Bush Sr, of course, Mr. NWO himself!

Audio of JFK speech: "We are opposed to secret societies"

This is an audio of a speech by John F. Kennedy in which he states, among other things, that, "We are opposed to secret societies." So you may wish to check it out considering that Dealey Plaza, where the president was assassinated in Dallas is well-known as a Masonic Plaza.

Prominent figures killed by secret societies tend to have an 'eternal flame' at their gravesites, in case you're wondering who there are. Princess Diana, Martin Luther King, Jr, and the rest would appreciate attention to discovering their murderers' identities, imo.

And yet I know that everyone is afraid of them. Just look at the sorry, often quixotic, behavior of the US Congress.


Disclosure: I never blog here or elsewhere with the intent of maligning rank and file members of any organization; I believe the 'need to know' model is used within them all, where only a select few people at the top of the pyramid-of-power actually know everything that's being done and why - in order to keep the reins of power firmly in certain hands, and to avoid any chances of their own unmasking. Plus, underlings doing decent charity work makes a good screen for evil to hide behind, don't you think? jc

Digital TV, mind control, and magic

'Coincidentally' I ran across Coincidence Theory: Television and Mind Control which details the mind control potentials and occult links of the congressionally mandated analog-to-digital switch that shoved the US 'across the Digital Divide' as of June 12, and opened up frequency bands to make room for RCA's dog to hear its master's voice more clearly.

On July 21, I published The Real Reason Behind the Digital TV Switch to make note of governmental chip-implant technology and the 'master's voice' theory as we're tracked by our every move and purchase, and subliminally contacted through TV viewing.

Digital signals broadcast far more data to our brains within a shorter period of time, you see. Groovy for them, a dangerous slippery slope for us.

You're welcome to skip my blabs on the subject, but do check out Eric Nordstrom's article linked above...for instance: did you know that TV's original cathode ray tube was invented in an attempt to reach the dead? (Even though the dead are 'unconscious and know nothing'!)

Or that master occultist, satanist, and sex/drug fiend, Aleister Crowley, has a possible connection to Barbara Bush through an extended visit to France from her mother, Pauline, who had a 'wild side' and may have hung out with Crowley while there. (They shared mutual friends.)

If you're like me reading this, you think, 'Why am I not surprised?' Crowley, famous for his "Do What Thou Wilt" creed and for 'sexual magick' is possibly Barbara Pierce Bush's papa!

Mrs. Bush was born on June 8, 1925 in Rye, NY, so the possibility is there since her mother Pauline returned to America in Oct 1924 from her European trip. Premature birth is, of course, possible as well, yet given her mother's traveling schedule, this would have had to be the case if Marvin Pierce fathered Barbara, his child #3.

Mrs. Bush's natal chart is Rated A 'From Memory' in the AstroDataBank files; Crowley's has been rectified by several astrologers, including Marc Penfield; this version has a Rodden Rating of B.

So are there indications of mysterious parentage in Bush's natal chart?

Actually, yes.

Here is a bi-wheel image with Crowley's natal chart in the center highlighted in orange; Bush's chart is the outer chart, highlighted in green. Two of AC's midpoint pictures are notated, lower left...one a T-Square, one a YOD.

A Mystic Rectangle is listed for him as well between Sun, Saturn, Uranus, and Mc, and interestingly, his 1st house Uranus 19Leo08, has this Sabian Symbol for '20Leo':

Bush's Ic, the Foundation Point of the chart and house of roots and heritage, is at 17Pis05, and whenever Neptune (or Pisces) are associated with the Ic/4th house there are questions regarding parentage (and/or alcohol and other drug implications.)

Plus, Jupiter is the primary ruler of Pisces so a 'guru' figure could be implicated - and the disruptive creative sparker Uranus is posited in her 4the house at 25Pis17. At age 84, Mrs. Bush is in the midst of her Uranus Return as this odd story reappears on the Uranian/Neptunian Web.
