Jupiter 2019 opposes Singapore's Jupiter in Gemini

Yesterday we discussed When Jupiter Returns to his Spring Equinox 2019 position and how he's traveling currently in retrograde motion @24Sagittarius. This position opposes the natal Jupiter of Singapore where Trump and Kim Jong Un met for their much-touted
Singapore Summit so bromantically in 2018. Since then, North Korea has launched and laughed to the detriment of Donald Trump although he pretends not to care. Apparently, Jupiterian hope springs eternal for the fantasy-prone Big T.

Now whether the opposition between transit Jupiter while in its own sign of Sagittarius and Singapore's natal Jupiter in Mercurial Gemini has any significance for denuclearization talks or negotiations either then or in the future I know not, but keeping an eye on astrological Jupiter's path and aspects is always a good idea in relation to anything that may expand, increase, grow, or balloon beyond safe limits. It's the old 'too much of a good thing' isn't so good concept along with the slippery slope that overblown Jupiter can make so very enticing.

And as we know, Trump likes his 'diplomacy' efforts to exist only on a personal level, plus, both men are Jupiterian by girth and style, both pompously promote their causes, and both make promises they can't or won't keep. So perhaps the Jupiter vs Jupiter opposition relates to a personal stand-off situation between the two 'lovers' based on the time they met in Singapore with stars in their eyes and with the unprepared Trump playing the gullible role (whether he was aware of it or not).

Yes, I agree that it's all very gross...which is another Jupiterian concept just like Trump's over-expectations of what denuclearization means when Kim Jong Un mentions the word. So is Trump being played for a fool by Kim? Or is Donnie in on the joke? What do you think? Any thoughts?

Singapore! Trump-Kim Meeting Set for June 12, 2018

On May 10, 2018 a meeting between Donald Trump and North Korea's Kim Jong Un was announced for June 12, 2018 in Singapore. This is subject to change, of course, so I don't care to write about the meeting's horoscope until closer to the event, if then. However, the founding data of Singapore may be useful. We should note that in the transits on June 12, the Mars-Uranus square will have waned (Mars 7AQ; Uranus 1Taurus) while the war-like Mars-SN conjunction remains worrisome for its possible military connection and the fact that it continues to ruffle America's natal Nodal axis (6Leo/AQ). Another square will be formed by then between Venus (diplomacy) and quirky Uranus (revolt; freedom; independence; disruption) denoting willful people who resent any limitations on their actions, and the easy or sudden breaking of relationships, not the forming of them!

Now there are multiple horoscopes for Singapore (originally founded in 1819 as a trading post) and below is a dual image of two of them, both set for August 9, 1965--one for 10:00 am JT -7:30 (Proclamation of Independence, lower left), the other for 4:15 pm JT, the official hour of independence.

As you see, the 4:15 pm chart shows interlaced (focused) YOD patterns of crisis, crossroads (like at a trading post?), and/or special purpose--one with apex Sun in Leo, the other with apex Saturn Rx in Pisces--and Saturn the chart-ruler since business sign Capricorn rises. On August 9, 1965 by transit was a fanatic Saturn-Pluto opposition across the Virgo-Pisces victim-savior axis, and of course, in 1965 the Uranus-Pluto conjunction was perfecting off and on with all the protests and restlessness we could use. Curiously, in the 10:00 am chart, Trump's natal Mercury @8Cancer conjoins Singapore's Midheaven (8Can01), and on June 12, 2018 (typical as it is) Trump's natal Sun will be sesqui-squared by transit Mars (7AQ55) indicating ego conflicts and ill-considered actions; this transit is a three-fer and will repeat on July 11, 2018 and October 5, 2018.

A third horoscope can be set for August 31, 1963 12:00 am JT with ASC 2Gem04, MC 27AQ17 (precisely where the current 1 South Solar Eclipse 'hit' on February 15, 2018 = "flooded with options and ideas"--Brady); also the 1963 chart reveals a practical Double Earth Sun Virgo-Moon Capricorn blend while the 1965 charts show a Fire-Earth Sun Leo-Moon Capricorn combination of energies.) Note that on the 10:00 am chart I've penned on most of Mr. Trump's natal placements--also note that large amounts of money may be involved in this 'summit' for in both charts gold-hoarding MIDAS conjoins Trump's natal Midheaven @24Taurus! So apparently Mr. Trump is expecting a lot from this meeting and relationship with Kim--even a Nobel Prize. The Cosmos does, after all, gift Trump with a Gemini New Moon near his natal Sun for his Solar Return 2018 which arrives a mere two days after his meeting with Kim!

Sept 2017 Trump to UN and a Virgo New Moon

Today, during the three days leading up to the Virgo New Moon of September 20, 2017 (1:30 am edt) @27Vir27--the 'dark of the Moon' phase when sneaky doings often occur--Donald Trump has met and spoken with UN members--chastising them as expected. However, his first Address to the UN General Assembly is scheduled for Tuesday, September 19th when the gathered members will be able to take 'his measure'. Naturally, mention of the nuclear capabilities and intentions of North Korea will be a primary item on Trump's agenda along with his ideas for reforming the UN.

Sowing Seeds During September's Earthy New Moon

An astrological tidbit concerning Mr. Trump's appearance at the UN this week involves the Sabian Symbol for the September 20th 2017 New Moon degree (27Vir27), a word picture which may well describe a certain mogul playing acting a presidential role though of course you are welcome to disagree...

Rounding up we get '28Virgo':

"A Bald-Headed Man Dominates a Gathering of National Figures"...'Keyword: DOMINANCE...positive expression: accomplishment through a completeness of self-mastery and a rigid control of others; negative (shadow/unconscious side): a sadistic sophistication'. Of course, inter-national figures will also be in attendance. And Virgo is the sign of The Critic.

Now Trump's level of self-mastery is uncertain, if it exists, but it or its lack will be with him at the podium, one imagines.

Well, it is a darkened Moon so perhaps the degree's Illumination Point (opposite) can shed a ray of light upon the situation:

Now 'exceptional integrity'? Hmm. Not so much. And 'irritating pride of possessions'? I'd have to say The Gilded One has got that firmly covered! It only remains to be seen how ruffled and fretful or how soothed and at ease his audience will be when Donald Trump is done pontificating at them. If his nagging includes whining that would definitely be irritating to most, if not everyone.

My suspicion is that the fulfillment/culmination stage of the September New Moon arriving in two weeks with the Full Moon of October 5, 2017 @12Ari43, a critical degree ('13Aries' = "An Unsuccessful Bomb Explosion"!!), will reveal how the September seeds Mr. Trump plants this week are sprouting--vigorously in receptive soil, or meagerly in the soil of the world's discontent.

July 7, 2017 Trump-Putin Face Off at G-20 Hamburg

Recently when we Moon Tracked the Hamburg G-20 Summit through Friday and Saturday July 7th and 8th, the face-to-face between Mr. Trump and Mr. Putin was being billed as a "sidelines" meeting (tryst, I call it) but since then their face off has been characterized as an official meeting which should mean that there will be others in the room to record it. If so, that remains to be seen.

Well, here's a very brief BBC News segment reporting that German Chancellor Angela Merkel is "very angry" with Donald Trump for withdrawing the US from the global climate change agreement, noting that Trump is in process of withdrawing America from her global leadership role (one of the things I suspect he was placed in the Oval Office to do), and calling tomorrow's Trump-Putin face off "the prize fight of this summit."

Easy-to-Read Trump Will Meet a Savvy Putin

So how well do you think Trump vs Putin up close and personal can possibly go? An amateur Mars-rising-with Regulus ego against a first class player (who also sports a massive ego), both below-the-belt fighters who fancy themselves as strongmen capable of ruling the world? Both nations' current activities in Syria will allegedly be a topic of discussion between the leaders of the two meddling countries itching for a world war, it seems--a world war begun with meddling in the cradle of civilization, where else? Apparently, the 'East vs West' conflagration includes America against Mr. Putin's Russia with the Chinese government peeking around their fluttering fans at Trump and North Korea.

Maybe Mr. Trump will thank (while failing to criticize) the underhanded oligarch who helped install him in the White House.

First let me express sincere condolences to the good people of North Korea who are in mourning for the loss on December 17, 2011 of Kim Jong Il, their 'Dear Leader'.

He was a complex man and the people's sense of loss must be overwhelming even for those whose state-imposed displays of bereavement are acts of self-preservation and habit more than of deep grief for one difficult man. The North Korean people's already perilous conditions and the crossroads which the passing of the Communist-monarchical mantle presents them brings tremendous collective anxieties; plus, the suddenness of such a tragic event adds much intensity to their emotional shock as The Masses face life without the familiar father figure they've come to know (only too well, as some might say.)


2011 North Korea: a People Eclipsed by a 'Peculiar Turn of Events'

A momentous event was promised for the North Korean people by the 'peculiar turn of events' November 25, 2011 Solar Eclipse @ 2Sag37 which 'eclipsed' North Korea's 1st house natal Moon 2Sag17 (the people, the populace; ASC 24Sco58; transit Uranus now squares natal Uranus 00Can15 in 8th H of Death and Transformation--emotional shock) in the country's natal horoscope set for September 9, 1948 12:00 pm P'yongyang, NK.

(Source: US Dept of State; Nicholas Campion's Book of World Horoscopes gives one day later which changes little but the Moon's position so I'm taking the November 2011 Solar Eclipse 'hit' to the 2Sag17 Moon position of Sept 9 as a reasonable confirmation that 'September 9, 1948' is the correct date for the establishment of North Korea.)

And yes, the 'peculiar turn of events' flavor of the Nov 25, 2011 Solar Eclipse does make me wonder for one brief moment if a human hand helped speed Kim Jong Il on to his ultimate destination far beyond his train's final station. Why, actors pretend to assassinate by 'heart attack' in movies and on TV all the time, the little dickenses. Actually, the North Korean leader had been recuperating well from his stroke in 2008, I heard somewhere--until last Saturday morning when his health took a peculiar turn for the worst.

May 2012: Tears and Fears

Warily I should mention that the May 20, 2012 Solar Eclipse @ 00Gem21 ('unsettling times') also 'eclipses' the Moon of North Korea giving us all 'something to cry about' due to the eclipse conjoining difficult star Alcyone, one of the Weeping Sisters. Key themes for Alcyone's potential influence: inner vision, a search for knowledge, exile, suffering, ruthlessness, judgmental anger.

Though the horoscope for the May 2012 eclipse is not yet published by this astrologer, you may be able to locate it online with little effort, if it's posted. An eclipse in the sign of Gemini indicates that affected issues will relate to mercurial things such as: communications, news, travel, trade, commerce, negotiations, contracts, treaties, and young people.

Now the political facets of this unexpected change-of-leadership as its import and the fears associated with it boomerang around the globe are much too varied for one limited post though I do admit to a hope Kim Jong Un will be more open to considering varied perspectives rather than clinging to provincial, blinders-on attitudes of the past. (We can all resemble that remark, personally and politically!)

Economist Dr. James K. Galbraith spoke at the Communications, Energy and Paperworkers’ 9th convention last month, where he brought delegates a message not often heard from economists – that there is a progressive response to the economic crisis.

Galbraith – the son of famed Canadian economist John Kenneth Galbraith – regaled delegates with his analysis of the roots of the economic recession that has destroyed jobs, families and communities. He said the crisis wasn’t an economic crisis but a fraud perpetrated on innocent victims.

In September 2009 I posted on Dr. Galbraith's views and included one of his quotes concerning the US financial system and the predatory class along with some basic astro-notes detailing his Sun-Moon blend which Dr. Galbraith then generously weighed in on by leaving a Comment confirming my astro-suspicions about him.

Now my question is: may the US have Dr. Galbraith as Treasury Secretary please? He was born in Boston after all! For what a difference such a progressive point of view could make when the US and global financial systems need it most.

Oops! How un-globalist of me: it should be 'global financial system'... not 'systems'.

Much of the same faction now claiming such concern for the welfare of The Iranian People are the same people who have long been advocating a military attack on Iran and the dropping of large numbers of bombs on their country -- actions which would result in the slaughter of those very same Iranian People. #


Yes, "such concern" and crocodile tears belong in the same bucket. Of cr*p.

The hypocrisy of Washington politicians knows no bounds! Sometimes I have to wonder who writes the scripts - like this morning when I heard President Obama calling out North Korea's threat toward other countries and I thought, 'How soon they forget' that Bush-Cheney did much more than simply threaten other countries. Now Mr. Obama is on track to continue the bombing, and we-the-people know not where - but it's supposedly being done in our name.

And so the demonization of Iran's government rolls on, revved up this week by the Iranian people's understandable disbelief in their election outcome. But that is their business, is it not?

You know, I'd love it if all my grousings these last few years (on this blog since 2005, and in Slate's The Fray for years prior) about New World Order chaos plans (including financial collapse) with a power elite's shock doctrine agenda (so well-described by Naomi Klein) - if it all turned out to be merely a conspiracy theorist's nightmare amounting to nada. That would be be tres cool, you know?

She Still Is

And I've always said that 'America is my only nag in the race' especially when it comes to Capitol Hill legislation and election campaigns that tout our illusory 'two-party system' which is designed to divide and conquer, with little if any difference between Rs and Ds.

Class warfare, etc...them vs us, and you have your noggin planted firmly in the sand if you can't see who's winning big-time. Did I hear you whisper, 'middle class'? You know it's getting smaller by the day, m'peops. Our losses are someone's gains.

As for Iran's contested presidential election or one of our own, it's sadly become the same the world over, for it isn't who casts the votes that determines the winner. It's who counts them.
