Earthquakes in the Mississippi Valley have occurred before and are expected again. Nowadays, an actively expanding sinkhole in Louisiana is leaving its calling card which most Americans don't want to accept but there are plenty of physical clues to the level of threat in which the residents of the region now find themselves. With this unstable environment, many home grown residents will refuse to make refugees of themselves in order to keep their families from harm, what I would call a huge shame. Lack of national media attention to these matters stymies public opinion and interferes with our understanding of the gravity of the situation.

Move away!, is the best advice for the entire region yet heeding such a startling idea is seldom easy and often impossible for the snugged-in with few resources.

Yes, a lack of personal assets tends to be the eternal problem blocking simple solutions for it costs a good chunk of money to relocate, especially when there's a family household to move and children's needs to consider during the process. Is government aid available? Well, you know how tattered our traditional Social Safety Net is, thanks to politicians who follow orders from their bosses (not to lessen the culpability of said politicians who act in breach of the public contract).

Such results ripple out from a current transiting midpoint picture:

Saturn-Neptune = Pluto, and this influence adds a 'denial of responsibility from the guilty parties' vibe to the proceedings--and to many other types of proceedings, too. A quick listen to TV 'news' broadcasts will fill you in, if necessary, and you'll hear wealthy Pluto asserting how innocent he is in all matters, financial and otherwise! You may note that 'Feb 7' is prevalent in current US political press coverage and important in Washington politics as engineered events unfold in January and February 2014. Also, Feb 7, 2014 will be the 203rd anniversary date of the #4 New Madrid Earthquake of 1812.

In the video (if you can locate it on YouTube) the Louisiana Sinkhole is described as, "Like someone flushed a giant toilet."

An easy suspicion is that the entire region has been flushing down the drain for a long time. Louisiana: Now with More Brine? The sinkhole is the beginning of an Inland Sea which some say will enlarge and divide the physical America we know. Note: once I was advised of a late-days event called, The Shaking. Could the New Madrid Earthquake be it? An earthquake does seem to be what's referred to--a sort of seismic catastrophe. As far as this blog goes, can 'forewarned (really) be forearmed? For that is this blogging American's intent by publishing such a post with the embedded video, above. And it's certainly true that mainstream media in not covering the threat. Wonder why not? The video purports to tell why.

Astrologically, how awful to think of underground Pluto (caverns, tunnels, destruction, permanent transformation) bearing much of the responsibility (though not all of it, for there's the input of Saturn (crust of the Earth/tectonic plates, soil, mud, etc), and Uranus (separation, electrical charges, shocks, disruption, storms, etc) to consider if one reads the roles of planetary actors found in the earthquake horoscopes. Plus, Neptune's watery, dissolving effects are, of course, closely involved as well.

Too Much Jupiter?

The 1st Madrid Quake of 1811 has Jupiter @2Can13 (conjunct US natal Venus)--the first December 1811 quake's Jupiter Return occurred on July 5, 2013 which is the date of our US Solar Return 2013 which did not fall on July 4th this year but on July 5th.

So...is the Louann Salt Dome being completely eroded into caverns and empty spaces, or not? And the Gulf Coast of the US is dissolving (Neptune)? So America is in process of physically dividing and the Sandy Hook event was another staged 'false flag op'? Hardly. Whatever we do, we must not sink into "simple shiftlessness or abandon" of the problems inherent in such a potential catastrophe for action is required in the Gulf Coast region--evacuate, because unavoidable events may occur in which the safety of the region's inhabitants is of uppermost importance, imho--disagree if you must. But I'm one of those common-gooders in the collective sense while simultaneously preferring an individualist's expression as my due. Must be that Uranian American stuff, y'know.

SEC Shredded Documents; Earthquake Hits DC! 8.23.11

Just a heads-up today about Matt Taibbi's Rolling Stone article on the SEC (the American people's intrepid 'enforcer' against crime and fraud on Wall Street--puh!), shredding documents from their 'investigations' into Wall Street fraud and crime such as the Bernie Madoff case and others.

Also Mr. Taibbi is interviewed by Amy Goodman on today's broadcast of Democracy Now! concerning this matter, if you care for a listen.

An example from the Taibbi-Goodman interview? Lloyd Blankfein of Goldman-Sachs (its stock price drooping) has now retained high-powered legal representation, the same group that defended Enron! Why, you'd think they were in-cahoots pals or something.

Well, 'they' often say, Money Talks. And obviously, Money doesn't mind Lying.

The SEC was created from section 4 of the Securities and Exchange Act of 1934 which was enacted on June 6, 1934. Click for details which include the names of current SEC members, a crew placed on the board in 2008, and with chairperson Mary Schapiro serving since January 27, 2009. It was time for the old Financial Collapse 2008 crowd to clear out after their collusion in The Big Fraud was done.

Looking at the transits for June 6, 1934 what pops out on a monetary level is a Venus/Uranus conjunction in early Taurus, a money sign with a negative side of greed and intolerance.

System buster Uranus is @ 00Tau00, in fact, the so-called 'Hitler degree' of violence (Adolf's natal Sun degree; looking back at that time we can see that he tended to act aggressively whenever his natal Sun (ego; hero's journey) was triggered (and other times, too, of course) so because we're talking about 1934, this is a transit of Uranus to Hitler's natal Sun, a time of sudden changes of direction toward a new identity (his rise to power and dictatorship.) There is also an inability to accept restriction or rejection with Uranus to n Sun, and he certainly resembles that remark.

So what of the Venus/Uranus imprint of 1934 upon the SEC's DNA, circa 2011?

Events of the 1930s era and their results attest to the following potentials for Venus/Uranus if one cares to remember or search them out, and certainly the hard aspect between the revolutionary pair, Uranus and Pluto, then as now, was very active (then as now.)

Under Politics and Business, here is a paraphrase of what Michael Munkasey says about the Venus/Uranus combination of planetary energies in his excellent book Midpoints: Unleashing the Power of the Planets:

Washington DC Quake Alert!

At 1:52 pm edt, during today's Thom Hartmann broadcast now on my TV, an earthquake shook the building. The White House and other buildings in the District are being evacuated, and Charlottesville, VA is cited as the quake's epicenter. Thom, whose program is based in Washington DC (and has remained on-air) in an old brick building, further states that he felt the building shake yesterday (8.22.11.) Today, Thom's microphone and the set's background could be seen moving.

Aries New Moon Apr 3, 2011 w US natal Mars rising

The more I look at the chart factors in the horoscope of the April 3, 2011 New Moon at a critical/crisis degree, the more worrisome they appear. Sadly, the cure isn't to stop looking.

Well, as you know, the combination of Mars and Uranus is a permanent signature in the American natal chart and national psyche so we can't say we're not a warring bunch of varmints, can we? With Gemini the sign of multiplicity, America chooses and fights wars two or three at a time. Yes, Uranus The Awakener is certainly busy this time around bringing strikes, protests, and stand-offs much as was the case when Uranus conjoined AP on March 31, 1927, November 4, 1927, and January 13, 1928. Combined with instigator Mars in 2011, powerfully explosive situations including the nuclear realm and more earthquakes are dire potentials.

Yet hopefully April won't bring more bad news concerning the nuclear meltdown in Japan, and I pray that the West's Libyan intrusion with its mildly named 'no-fly' zone will not take a wrong Martian-Uranian turn into chaos as well.

Quake welcomes Beckhams to CA

An Oakland quake hitting "shortly after" 4:40 am pdt jolted people awake this morning.

Here you see the chart showing the usual culprits--angular planets, esp Uranus, planet of sudden occurences and disruption, in water sign, Pisces.

Mercury in Cancer (water sign) is angular and rising, and several of the midpoints relate to separation and to attraction...just the tension needed for an earthquake to occur. There's also a "Finger of God" formation (which I neglected to mark on the chart) the base of which is the Moon/Mercury square pointing accusingly at Neptune.

With the third and final exact opposition between Saturn (earth; continental plates; form) and Neptune (dissolution; ocean; water; rifts) separating but still within orb, the Sabian Symbol for Mars' degree (and this was a Mars Hour, btw) may be instructive:

"19Tau": "A new continent rises out of the ocean."

The brutal, forceful Mars/Pluto midpoint has been pointing to NN (North Node) in recent days as we've watched the tiffs and rifts in Washington continue to play out...

Mars/Pluto = NN: extreme force; superhuman power.

And since we obviously have no superheroes in Washington, superhuman power better describes an earthquake--or perhaps David Beckham's prowess with a soccer ball and the super (major!) paycheck that goes with it.
