GOP's Biden Impeachment Inquiry Opens

Chaired by Republican Rep. Jim Jordan, the GOP (maga) inquiry into impeaching President Joe Biden opened this morning at 10:00 am edt. Actually, Trump's handmaidens are on a fishing expedition to 'catch' Joe Biden by linking him to his son Hunter's activities, in hopes of making Trump look better to voters. So far, no equivalency has been found between decades-long public servant Biden and insurrectionist Trump. And you know, Joe came out of retirement to help us with this fascism thing but extremist Republicans don't like it.

So! Below you see a bi-wheel of the Republican Party Horoscope (inner) set for March 20, 1854 6:30 pm LMT Ripon, WI, and (outer) today's 10:00 am EDT chart set for Septmber 28, 2023 with 10Sco06 rising ("11 Scorpio": "A Drowning Man Rescued"). Wonder who ordered this fishing expedition hoping to be rescued from his troubles? Well, Scorpio is the sign of detectives and investigations, with Mars its ruler, and Pluto its sub-ruler.

As you see, the Mars inconjunct Uranus is listed on the chart since Mars rules the inquiry itself with Plutonian influences of power, control, and manipulation in his back pocket. Meanwhile, a 4th house Pluto @27Cap55 Rx remains within orb of America's first-ever Pluto Return and had conjoined 1854 Jupiter 5 times from 2019 into 2020 during the Trump years. Here, Pluto squares North Node of public contact which suggests the revolutionary reforms now in play which challenge The Establishment (Saturn).

But my primary focus is on today's Saturn Rx @1Pis36 which conjuncts 1854 Venus while opposing 1854 Mars. In other words, transit Saturn is activating the Republican Party's quarrelsome Venus-Mars opposition (see lower right corner for details). And there's today's Venus atop the chart with her Leonine pride and her tendencies toward jealousy and greed when she's been scorned (aka, not voted for!)

As for accountability, you know that Saturn demands truth, realism, and the facts but look what was rising at 10:00 am this morning in Washington DC as the proceedings began: Trump's natal Neptune @5Libra, the first planet of his 2nd house trio that includes Chiron and his stationary Jupiter in Libra - and with the morning Sun spotlighting it! To me this implies that Donald's Dream (Jupiter-Neptune) of floating above the fray (his indictments and trials) is on today's menu as his handmaidens attempt to improve the orange oldster's tattered public image, damaged by his own criminality and vengefulness.

And yes, there are plenty of other chart factors of interest for the curious but let's close by saying that the Mars-Uranus inconjunct bodes ill for the outcome of today's political stunt and for its ultimate consequences for the Republican Party. Because maddeningly, instead of working to keep the government from shutting down this Saturday at midnight, these maga-style 'Putin pals' are performing yet another congressional clown show for the sake of sore loser Trump who made his own bed and will now have to lie in it.

DC Horoscopes: Trump-Eclipse-Impeached!

December 19, 2019: With Christmas celebrations around here today my blogging time is brief but I shall post below a DC Horoscopes tri-wheel with Trump natal in center, the July 2, 2019 3 North Solar Eclipse in the middle, and last evening's Impeachment of Donald J. Trump timed for 8:09 pm est when the Vote was first called for. Circled are significant contacts between his natal (unaspected) Pluto @10Leo02, the 3 North Eclipse's Midheaven @10Leo04 (chart set for Washington DC, Sun-Moon @10Can37 in the midst of America's Venus-Jupiter-Sun trio), and last night's Impeachment Vote Ascendant @10Leo04.

UPDATE Dec 20, 2019: excerpt from my previous post on current transits to the Republican Party's natal planets: Republican Party Horoscope "July 6, 1854 5:00 pm LMT (Sun 14Can27 Mercury 10Leo05; Moon 28Sco00 ) Ripon, Wisconsin" to note that Mercury @10Leo05 is also pinged by Trump's natal Pluto, eclipsed by the 3 North Solar Eclipse of July 2, 2019, and was rising with Trump's Pluto when the Impeach Vote was called for at 8:09 pm est on December 18, 2019. A significant midpoint picture thus formed denoting an intense desire to 'control information, its sources, and its dissemination' (Mercury-Pluto = ASC; Munkasey). Ruthlessness toward hiding secrets was and is involved.

Apparently the Cosmos is playing peep-eye with Underworld 'god' Pluto, Trump's hidden-in-12th-house planet of underworld mobster connections via its degree and symbol. Other contacts currently in play include transit North Node conjunct Trump's natal Mercury, and transit Pluto opposing Trump's natal Saturn (authority challenged--by a higher power?) and I'm certain you'll spy others:

The impeachment of President Andrew Johnson occurred on February 24, 1868 and qualifies as America's first-ever impeachment of a president. (130 years later, President Bill Clinton was impeached on December 19, 1998 although no crimes were found by the Starr investigation so Republicans impeached a Democratic president over infidelity; meanwhile some of them were busy doing the same thing--ex: New Gingrich.)

A prominent feature of a noon horoscope set for February 24, 1868 Capitol Building Washington DC is a massive Pisces line-up of planets: Sun, Moon, Mercury, Jupiter, and even Chiron. The Sun @5Pisces (the leader) conjoins the transiting South Node @4Pis59 = lack of popularity; (and with Pisces, use of alcohol is suggested) so that a T-Square pattern is formed made up of Sun-NN = Saturn (5Sag23): 'separation; disadvantages in dealing with the public' (Ebertin); 'weak influence within groups' (Munkasey); 'reserve in relationships; patience' (Tyl).

We should also note that for Andrew Johnson, born December 29, 1808, with Neptune @5Sag34 (in Raleigh, NC from where I now type at you!), the period of his impeachment was a time of transit Saturn conjunct natal Neptune, the "grim face of reality" transit--a time of disillusionment and of misinterpretation of one's responsibilities.

So for President Johnson we may substitute his natal Neptune for impeachment Saturn in the T-Square and midpoint picture it creates potentials for:

This makes sense really, since everyone knows that bullies are big fat cowards...

And considering what threatens to be a very disappointing "release" of the (overly redacted) Mueller Report in the morning (April 18th--with AG Barr promising to hold a press conference at 9:30 am edt before the report's release tomorrow in order to take (evade) reporters' questions before they have time to actually read the report--so slick, thinks he and Donald--another stalling tactic!), we might appreciate the interesting information and commentary within the following Thom Hartmann segment with Rep. So with the ongoing square (blockages; obstacles) from transit Neptune @17Pisces to Trump's natal Uranus @17Gemini (his 'guiding planet' of chaos, disruption, and oddballness in his 10th house of Career and Public Standing) his nibs could turn out to be the leader of a failed social movement.

Aug 9, 2018: Nixon Resigned 44 years ago today Will Trump Follow His Excellent Example?

August 9, 2018: Forty-four years ago today, Richard Nixon resigned from the Office of the Presidency in order to avoid impeachment and the parallels between Nixon's actions in the White House and those of Donald Trump are revealing. Perhaps you've seen today's CNN segment with John Avlon pointing out the similarities between the two men--up to the point where Nixon resigned. Editor-in-chief of The Daily Beast and a CNN political analyst, Mr. Avlon is the author of Washington's Farewell which yours truly is currently reading along with several other books, a habit I can't seem to break because I don't want to.

As we learned 44 years ago, resigning from the presidency is an easy task as evidenced by Nixon's resignation letter sent to Secretary of State Henry Kissinger which may be viewed here. In a SO'W post of August 4, 2007, I included a link to the letter and some natal details on Nixon himself noting that his Sun Cap-Moon AQ personality blend suggests a very descriptive 'Image for Integration' concerning Mr. Nixon's presidential destiny:

"Having struggled unaided to the peak, a mountaineer hitches a ride on a passing helicopter." (Sun-Sign Moon Sign, Charles and Suzi Harvey).

Perhaps you agree that the 'struggling' and 'hitching' are exactly what Tricky Dick did thanks to his 'fall from grace' which can be astrologically associated with taskmaster Saturn in 10th house or near Midheaven. That's because law-abiding Saturn, planet of The Establishment and the status quo, demands that human beings abide by laws and rules, honor worthy traditions, wisely administer their responsibilities, and stand up when accountability comes to call. Past mistakes that are never made whole eventually overwhelm when karmic Saturn's imperatives are neglected.

Yet power-mad control freak Nixon was born with Saturn @27Tau29 in his 9th house and power-broker Pluto in late Gemini--also a karmic planet--in his 10th house of Career, Public Status, and Aspirations so that the planetary pair of hardship and severity straddle Nixon's natal MC (Saturn-Pluto = MC). And now, with Mr. Trump under siege and hunkered down in the White House--and many of the 'best people' he hired turning out to be crooks--we shall note that Nixon's natal Saturn conjoins the natal MC of Donald Trump who was born with the nasty star of rage and violence Algol at Midheaven. And this is how Donald 'Algol' Trump is seen by the world (MC). Then significantly enough, the next Great Conjunction of Saturn and Pluto @22Cap46 on January 12, 2020 precisely conjoins Donald Trump's natal Vertex, a point of fated encounters.

Another interesting chart factor is that, assuming Trump's birth data is accurate with a birth time of 10:54 am, royal Regulus rises, a star carrying a serious imperative of its own: 'success if revenge is avoided; if not, all that has been gained will be taken away.' Why, 'revenge' is what exactly Donald Trump loves to take--just like Nixon did! Did I hear you say 'enemies list'?

Plus, there's yet another link between Donald Trump and the Nixon administration and resignation which you can read about in a previous post Trump and the 1973 Eclipse of the 'Saturday Night Massacre', a popularized term for Nixon's firing of the Special Prosecutor investigating him--you know, like Trump longs to do to Mr. Mueller (a vengeful firing which would not stop the investigation).

Now do any of these markers and cosmic links signal in America's future a Trump resignation as he treads the Nixonian path? We must wait and see!
