In 2016 we discussed what some call the Hopi Star of Prophecy, Ras Alhague, the snake charmer and Alpha star of Ophiuchi and the star's conjunction with Donald Trump's natal Moon opposite natal Sun - thereby symbolically twinkling upon his Nodal Axis of destiny and fate. Apparently, the natural law of karma (reaping what's been sown) will be in the courtroom.

So perhaps it's merely a curious synchronicity that the DC Trial of Trump proposed for January 2, 2024 by Special Counsel Jack Smith shows testifying Mercury strong at Direct Station (22Sag11) in the Horoscope you see, below. Set for Washington DC at the speculative hour of 10:00 am est on January 2, 2024 with Trump's natal chart surrounding it, here's a marked-up bi-wheel in case the trial date holds, and just in case Trump hasn't flown the coup before then:

'Nazi Rise to Power' Solar Eclipse Soon Repeats

1932 and 2022: Eclipse Cycles Rhyme with Historic Events

May 31, 2020: Forewarned is forearmed.

And probably most people would agree that the first election of democrat Franklin D. Roosevelt on November 8, 1932 was certainly for him a "rise to power" in the US but today, in light of current societal conditions, let's consider a different rise to power which occurred in 1932 Berlin via the Solar Eclipse that 'announced' it: the Prenatal Solar Eclipse ('PE') of the Nazi Rise to Power in the 6 South Saros Series which perfected on August 31, 1932 @8Virgo09 (Berlin eclipse horoscope shown below). As you see, the transiting planets now in late Capricorn cluster about the Midheaven ('MC'; The Goal) and the Saturn Rx of this eclipse horoscope. So it may be significant that 6 South's 1932 Saturn Rx @28Cap55 returns to natal degree three times in 2020, the first time already passed: March 9, then July 17, and December 6 with transit Pallas @29Cap42 (strategy, wisdom, ethics) on December 6th conjunct Nazism's 1932 Saturn.

Naturally, Saturnian-style karma is suggested in some form or another which may or may not include the loss and restriction so prevalent now. Hopefully, the wrong kind of consolidation is not part of the karmic picture. For we know that Saturn brings needed lessons and always demands realism, integrity, and accountability but sadly there's not a lot of these going around, not by radical reactionary forces anyway. (Their jam is deception and erosion inspired by Neptune now in shady Pisces.) So it's up to Establishment forces to demand and hold accountable miscreants and saboteurs endeavoring to take over America against the will of the people. And of course, We The People must perform our roles as well, however we can, to resist. (Yes, writing Stars Over Washington is my primary effort for America and has been for nearly 15 years! My street protest days ended several moons ago.)

And it seems to me no accident that the 1932 Solar Eclipse @8Virgo conjuncts the degree of both Election 2016's and Inauguration 2017's Prenatal Solar Eclipse of September 1, 2016 (a cosmic time link by degree, not Saros Series) which tragically was opposed by transit Neptune @10Pisces. This opposition gave Neptunian forces many opportunities to confuse, cloud, hide, and erode the 19 North themes of the 2016 Eclipse: 'realism, coming down to earth; a good time for tackling the truth' (Brady). For as you know, astrological Neptune when expressed negatively is allergic to truth, scoffs at reality, and perverts the straight-forward course, as do demagogues like Donald and--dare I type it--Adolf. After all, honest demagogues and dictators can never win so they must resort to deceit and fraud for their fake victories!

Please note that this post is not about the subsequent Fascism Rising Solar Eclipse of 1933 @5Pis29 in the 7 North series of 'deep passion' and 'lust' but the Total eclipse of August 31, 1932 with themes that are descriptive of the fascist/nazi/seizing power era of the 1930s--and of current conditions across the globe as America nears her first-ever Pluto Return/s in 2022 when 6 South comes again:

Therefore, dear reader, perhaps we agree on these disturbing topics so consider the following (for those who do not already know): a 6 South Solar Eclipse repeats @2Scorpio on October 25, 2022 and will be the PE of America's third of three Pluto Returns which occurs on December 28, 2022 (@27Cap32). Now stealthy Pluto was in Moon-ruled Cancer in the 1930s fascist era (nationalism; tribalism) but now, in our Pluto-in-Saturn-ruled-Capricorn era, neo-Nazism again rears its vicious Medusa head spurred by mouthpiece Trump, and as Saturn-ruled Pluto destroys structures and traditions, Pluto in Capricorn bears the unfortunate imprint of The Dictator (Ebertin). Plus, when Saturn and Pluto conjoined on January 12, 2020 @22Cap46, their harsh energies imprinted upon Year 2020 (and for the next 33 years or so) and their conjunction 'hit' the Vertex of fated encounters and possible wish-fulfillment in the natal horoscope of Donald Trump, as we've previously discussed. As you know, these harsh energies oppose Trump's natal 11th house Saturn--in watery, tribal Cancer. It's all very Moon-Saturn-Pluto abuse and misuse of power, isn't it?

Well, one difference between Nazi 1932 and Trump 2017--2022 that we have going for us is that the violent 'Marseillaise Trio' (Mars-Jupiter-Neptune) of 1932 is not aligned now as it was during the French Revolution. Enough of a saving grace? Turns out in May 2020 it is not for it's only one factor in a boatload of many, both positive and negative. Besides, white nationalism is 'on the rise' with Trump in the White House (our national Masonic Lodge). And nowadays we're experiencing the consequences of the traveling heavyweight trio of Jupiter, Saturn, and Pluto so recently joined by hothead arsonist Mars in March 2020. Besides weaponry, mundane Mars has a well known link to needles and injections - to anything sharp and/or invasive actually.

Yet hope springs eternal for America stopped Nazism before and must stop the brutal movement again in order to protect and keep some remnants of the democratic Republic we've known and prefer.

Now, for chart-readers, here is the 6 South Nazi Rise to Power Solar Eclipse Horoscope set for Berlin, Germany: August 31, 1932 8:54:32 pm CET with 18Tau03 rising (Taurus, a beastly sign), and a critical degree at Midheaven opposite twin star Castor (murder; loss; mental illness: A. Louis) conjunct the eclipse's IC, the Foundation of the chart. 6 South themes include forcefully taking power and huge efforts expended in group endeavors (paraphrasing Brady's Predictive Astrology):

As noted, above, a 6 South Solar Eclipse repeats on October 25, 2022 @2Scorpio. And as Rose Lineman informs us in her booklet on Eclipses, a solar eclipse in that intense Mars-Pluto infused sign denotes, "Scorpio's gift of probing insight (which) enables one to discern root causes of karmic situations and problems."

And this resonates with protecting and keeping some remnants of the democratic Republic we've known for, as everyone knows, monsters must be identified and directly faced in order to vanquish them!

For the sake of comparison, here's the same Nazi Power Rising Horoscope set for the White House Washington DC 2:54:32 pm EST with Cardinal Point 00Cap48 rising and a Libra Midheaven sporting - thank goodness! - two beneficial stars that relate to the Founding of America: Spica, the spike (Washington Monument) and Arcturus (the White House) with its key phrase: a different approach (democrat FDR!):

Trump with Regulus Rising: Revenge Time!

Now that AG Bill Barr has covered for him so that Mr. Trump's 'exoneration spin' can swing into full force and he's threatening revenge against all his critics, it occurs to me that this particular phase of retaliation by Donald Trump may be a telling part of the Regulus caution he lives under.

For as you know, royal Regulus rises in Trump's natal chart (assuming its 10:54 am timing is accurate with ASC 29Leo55) so the 'kingmaker' star's caution is especially critical for Mr. Trump: 'success if revenge is avoided; if not, all that has been gained will be taken away'.

Plus, for an extra 'punch' of revenge and grudge-holding in his character, it's interesting that Trump's natal Tisiphone, asteroid of retaliation, is positioned @22Sag24 which opposes his natal Sun (22Gem55) and thus conjoins his natal Moon (21Sag12) - on his (fated, karmic) Nodal Axis! Now with Regulus at Ascendant, Tisiphone on Nodal Axis with Sun and Moon - the man embodies retaliation and revenge. And that is one of, if not his primary, Achilles Heels (which is not so say that he hasn't others).

Therefore, it seems possible to me that the Great Saturn-Pluto Conjunction @22Cap46 (January 12, 2020) conjunct Trump's natal Vertex of fated encounters will bring him his just desserts after all due to the many ongoing investigations now being pursued around the country, NY in particular (thanks to Mr. Mueller's 'farming them out').

Guess we'll have to see how Trump and America fares as 2019 closes, won't we? And as always, America is my only nag in the race!

Astrology of Our Vulnerable 2020 Election

Looking ahead to the 2020 Presidential Election, Rep. Adam Schiff warns that the election is enormously vulnerable to hacking and foreign influence. Who in America actually needs such a warning yours truly isn't certain but there it is. Election rigging and gerrymandering are par for the GOP course, too, since their anti-American policies can't win over a majority of voters to their austerity-for-you-extreme-wealth-for-me agenda.

And when we check the 2020 Election Day Horoscope we find that November 3, 2020 falls under the rays of a 4 North Saros Series solar eclipse with background themes of illusions, blocks, separations, and misjudgments so little if any comfort there. In addition, the Jupiter-Pluto conjunction sits at the natal Vertex of Donald Trump and with his natal Saturn of authority (watery and emotionally based in Cancer!) opposite. Transit Saturn, strong in his own sign and planet of control, restriction, fear, and karma has moved on to 26 Capricorn where he sits atop our Inauguration horoscope/s at Midheaven (26Cap+), The Goal.

Last but not least today we should consider 'voting Mercury', planet of communications, casting ballots and making decisions (and judgments whether clear or erroneous). At 12:49 pm, Mercury stations @25Lib53 emphasizing the importance of our election decisions on that day (and the cheats and Mercurial tricksters who divert election results). Plus, transit Mercury has recently sped through Trump's natal 2nd hou$e trio of Neptune-Chiron-Jupiter (5 to 18 Libra). It's early days yet (March 13 2019 as I type) but one must assume that information, leaks, and reports will have concerned Trump's inflated-inflationary Jupiter-Neptune conjunction of grand schemes and fraud--with wounding-wounded Chiron of blind spots snugged within its ballooning midst.

Of course with US natal Pluto @27Cap33, We The People are hindered (my opinion!) by the the fact that Trump's natal Venus in Cancer permanently opposes US natal Pluto on financial levels in particular and this, in part, describes the extreme intensity of his relationship with America and the American people, plus, it reveals the continual, ruthless power struggles he is determined to 'win' at anyone's expense but his own. The Venus-Pluto pair also contains potentials for organized crime, extreme wealth hidden away, and breakdowns in the social fabric (Munkasey) - breakdowns that are intended by Republicans and their enablers every time they attempt to cut our social safety net programs.

Now we may wonder if Election Day 2020 planets look favorable for Donald Trump and some do (ex: Moon in Gemini approaches his Uranus-NN-Sun conjunction--Moon = the public, in mutable Gemini = changeable moods and minds--yet the Gemini Moon opposes his Sagittarius Moon and suggests some voters' attraction to his duplicitous Gemini personality and chaotic Uranian style of 'ruling'). And yes, there is also negativity in the Election Day 2020 horoscope/s for those who care to look so if Trump is still around by Election Day 2020, as most agree he will be, he will continue to be a major, jarring force which must be reckoned with - although he may need all the underhanded cheating tactics his supporters are willing to provide if he expects to 'win' the election against what must be a tsunami of Democratic and Independent voters turning up at the polls determined to vote Trump out.

2019 'Wild Card' Uranus Activates 'The Tower' Eclipse

Wild Card Uranus Returns to Its 'Wild Card' Solar Eclipse Degree of August 2018: Eclipses Are aka 'Wild Cards of the Universe' and 'Cosmic Blinks'

Now you might think the following cosmic event pictured in a DC Horoscope, below, is insignificant and perhaps you're correct. You may also believe that once a new solar eclipse manifests, all previous eclipses are no longer subject to activation, whether the eclipses were Total or not. There we disagree.

So in consideration of the crisis-ridden political climate in America these days as led by chaotic Uranian Trump, and the themes of the August 11, 2018 Solar Eclipse @18Leo41 which is also known as 'The Tower Eclipse' for its karmic collapsing/rebuilding energies in similar fashion to the planet of disruption and chaos, Uranus (Donald Trump's guiding planet in his natal horoscope) here is Uranus conjunct the Sun on April 23, 2019 as it returns to its partile degree of 2Tau33 in 'The Tower Eclipse' horoscope of 2018:

Most of my notes are penned upon the chart so please enlarge the image for better viewing as you wish--although I should point out a few factors: that the transiting Mars-Uranus midpoint sits upon the natal MC of Donald Trump along with enraged star Algol of Medusa fame and this suggests that any, all, or none of the potentials you see penned inside the horoscope may express--plus, transit Mars will soon hit Trump's natal Uranus (17Gemini) in his 10th house of Career and Public Status and this will activate what could be an especially explosive or dangerous period for him; also note that chart-ruler Venus makes no application (other than her conjunction with Chiron), and the chart's BOWL shape is led by an 8th house Moon in Sagittarius (Moon = women and children; the public; Sag is the sign of foreigners and immigrants).

Plus, it's impossible to ignore the cluster f**k at Midheaven with Saturn in Nodal Degree (doubly karmic, or fated) and conjoining South Node, a Saturnian point of separation (see chart notes). Plus, there's power-mad Pluto nearby as the two heavy-weights prepare for their rendezvous on January 12, 2020 @22Cap46 (see link, below) which conjoins the natal Vertex ('VX') of Mr. Trump. Some of Big T's natal placements surround the chart and are highlighted in lavender pink, a perfect shade for cowardly bullies, don't you think?

DC Horoscopes: July 2019 Solar and Lunar Eclipses

Please note that the Hour of the Lunar Eclipse is Venusian (which was left off the chart mea culpa!) and transit Venus @16Can15 will have conjoined the degree of the July 2nd Solar Eclipse (10Can37) and that the transiting North Node of the Moon will conjoin the Solar Eclipse degree near mid-July 2019. Also note that Solar Eclipses in Moon-ruled Cancer reveal that emotional extremes block karmic progress and the urge is to withdraw emotionally from eclipse affairs and events--to hide in Cancer the Crab's shell (Lineman). Yet we know that an accompanying Lunar Eclipse reveals something about our reactions to the karmic conditions and events indicated by the Solar Eclipse.

In July 2019, the Solar Eclipse is Total which has the strongest influence and/or is most widely ranging in its effects (for eclipse posts I go by degrees and not so much by the patch of visibility because I've been affected by too many eclipses that I couldn't 'see'). The Lunar Eclipse is Partial which suggests weaker efforts being made to deal with issues, or that efforts may fall short of their intended aims--that constructive efforts may be lacking or partially lacking. With Saturn-ruled Capricorn, some element of control or a form of limitation may be on the emotionally based solar agenda which occurs so near America's Independence Day that the eclipse is 'personalized' for the US.

Financier and Politician Jupiter Rx in 2nd house, then rising at the Lunar Eclipse

Finances delayed? Budget strife on Capitol Hill and/or perhaps the US dollar losing more of its global sheen? Limitations on economic policies? Well naturally, eclipses across the Cancer-Capricorn polarity relate to security issues, Career vs Family and Home situations, and to ambition, strategy, and direction taken in the realms of Business, Government, Law, Finance, and Investment. Also notable in such realms is the conjunction of Saturn with the South Node, the 'tail of the dragon' @17Cap36/43. And as you see in the Lunar Eclipse chart, the 2/8 axis of Money, Values, Finances, and Big Business is where this conjunction clusters which suggests the necessity to rise by force via self-reliance--and this tallies with transit Uranus in money sign Taurus where new sources of income may need to be found. We will certainly know more of such issues by the time of the Saturn-Pluto conjunction in Capricorn on January 12, 2020, an indicator of a 'new social order' and which conjuncts the natal Vertex of fate for Mr. Trump.

And finally, 3 North Solar Eclipses also manifested in the years 1911, 1929 (3N is the PE of 'Black Tuesday' 1929), 1947, 1965, 1983 (Reaganomics!), 2001 (the PE of 9/11/01, as noted on the chart), 2019 (this chart), and will next occur in 2037. 3N's initial eclipse manifested on October 10, 991 @22Gem06 conjunct what became US natal Mars so military and war issues cannot be ruled out in 2019 under Donald Trump whose natal MC (The Goal Point) happens to conjoin the Lunar Eclipse's 6th cusp, the house of Military, Police, and Civil Service.

Aug 9, 2018: Nixon Resigned 44 years ago today Will Trump Follow His Excellent Example?

August 9, 2018: Forty-four years ago today, Richard Nixon resigned from the Office of the Presidency in order to avoid impeachment and the parallels between Nixon's actions in the White House and those of Donald Trump are revealing. Perhaps you've seen today's CNN segment with John Avlon pointing out the similarities between the two men--up to the point where Nixon resigned. Editor-in-chief of The Daily Beast and a CNN political analyst, Mr. Avlon is the author of Washington's Farewell which yours truly is currently reading along with several other books, a habit I can't seem to break because I don't want to.

As we learned 44 years ago, resigning from the presidency is an easy task as evidenced by Nixon's resignation letter sent to Secretary of State Henry Kissinger which may be viewed here. In a SO'W post of August 4, 2007, I included a link to the letter and some natal details on Nixon himself noting that his Sun Cap-Moon AQ personality blend suggests a very descriptive 'Image for Integration' concerning Mr. Nixon's presidential destiny:

"Having struggled unaided to the peak, a mountaineer hitches a ride on a passing helicopter." (Sun-Sign Moon Sign, Charles and Suzi Harvey).

Perhaps you agree that the 'struggling' and 'hitching' are exactly what Tricky Dick did thanks to his 'fall from grace' which can be astrologically associated with taskmaster Saturn in 10th house or near Midheaven. That's because law-abiding Saturn, planet of The Establishment and the status quo, demands that human beings abide by laws and rules, honor worthy traditions, wisely administer their responsibilities, and stand up when accountability comes to call. Past mistakes that are never made whole eventually overwhelm when karmic Saturn's imperatives are neglected.

Yet power-mad control freak Nixon was born with Saturn @27Tau29 in his 9th house and power-broker Pluto in late Gemini--also a karmic planet--in his 10th house of Career, Public Status, and Aspirations so that the planetary pair of hardship and severity straddle Nixon's natal MC (Saturn-Pluto = MC). And now, with Mr. Trump under siege and hunkered down in the White House--and many of the 'best people' he hired turning out to be crooks--we shall note that Nixon's natal Saturn conjoins the natal MC of Donald Trump who was born with the nasty star of rage and violence Algol at Midheaven. And this is how Donald 'Algol' Trump is seen by the world (MC). Then significantly enough, the next Great Conjunction of Saturn and Pluto @22Cap46 on January 12, 2020 precisely conjoins Donald Trump's natal Vertex, a point of fated encounters.

Another interesting chart factor is that, assuming Trump's birth data is accurate with a birth time of 10:54 am, royal Regulus rises, a star carrying a serious imperative of its own: 'success if revenge is avoided; if not, all that has been gained will be taken away.' Why, 'revenge' is what exactly Donald Trump loves to take--just like Nixon did! Did I hear you say 'enemies list'?

Plus, there's yet another link between Donald Trump and the Nixon administration and resignation which you can read about in a previous post Trump and the 1973 Eclipse of the 'Saturday Night Massacre', a popularized term for Nixon's firing of the Special Prosecutor investigating him--you know, like Trump longs to do to Mr. Mueller (a vengeful firing which would not stop the investigation).

Now do any of these markers and cosmic links signal in America's future a Trump resignation as he treads the Nixonian path? We must wait and see!
