An astro-peek at Constitution Day September 17, 2010

Tattered by constant assaults in recent years, ignored by arrogant, bossy globalists everywhere, the US Constitution was signed by 39 men on September 17, 1787 making tomorrow, September 17, 2010 Constitution Day and the document's 223rd birthday.

However! Master astrologer Zip Dobyns did excellent work in the mid-1980s concerning the horoscope of the US Constitution and she stated that (unlike the Declaration of Independence and our nation's founding) there is, "no question about the time the US Constitution became law" and that it "went into effect at 00 AM Local Mean Time, NYC on March 4, 1789."

Dobyns adds her views on the existing plethora of US natal charts as well so if you've ever felt conflicted over the variety and 'which one is the real natal chart?' you may wish to read her thoughts on the topic and put your kerfluffling to rest.

In its March 4, 1789 birth chart, Sun 14 Pisces conjoins Saturn 14 Pisces and Saturn is the planet ruling law, government, and business; Moon is in early Gemini, conjunct South Node (another Saturnian tone); Moon conjoins the natal Moon of President Barack Obama, former Professor of Constitutional Law.

The disciplined combination of Sun/Saturn energies in Politics and Business, according to Michael Munkasey in his excellent book Midpoints: Unleashing the Power of the Planets are described as:

Form and definition of an enterprise; the will of the people as defined in the principle founding documents; checks and balances within enterprises as implemented by various administrations; unreasonable centralization of authority in one location; older and more distanced leaders; a leadership preoccupied with various forms of law enforcement.

Now the US Constitution has worked reasonably well in the past 221 - 223 years even with the ongoing debate between 'living document' vs its stricter interpretations. My suspicion is that the mutable sign of Pisces having the rigid conjunction of Sun and Saturn as tenants indicates the typical confusion of watery, nebulous Pisces (an energy that does not like to be pigeon-holed or held captive) along with the changing character tendency shared by all mutable signs, it is, in a word, adaptable.

My thought is that if the founding fathers could have known back in the day about modern technology and other facets of modern life we deal now, they would have thought we were daft idiots to expect the US Constitution to remain as if written in Saturnian stone - and stone is never a match for Piscean waters.

The Constitution's Sun Pisces-Moon Gemini blend has a weakness which may actually be a strength: *it lives according to an ever-changing relative morality.

A weakness in an individual, oh yes. But for a living document built to last and not break from rigidity, I consider it a very great strength indeed. Do you?

Blackwater's client list; Prince's Sun Gemini-Moon Pisces

The Nation's Jeremy Scahill has popped the lid off the top clients list of Erik Prince's Blackwater ('Xe') operations and its bid to be the intell arm of Monsanto, one of the primary scourges of our times.

But Walt Disney? Really? What can Mickey be up to? Spying on Minnie perhaps?

And it seems the Democratic Party is on Mr. Prince's radar for his new book intends to vanquish them with damning revelations in time for the November 2010 midterms. As if I don't type every day that Ds and Rs are in league together against the American people. But who is Erik Prince in league with, do ya think?

Born on June 6, 1969 at an unknown hour in Holland, MI (est), Erik Prince's natal Moon remained in Pisces for the 24-hour period of his birth date, with Sun in mid-Gemini.

His powerful trio of Uranus 29Vir52 Rx (he's in the midst of his midlife crisis now), Jupiter 26:23, (SN 26:47), and Pluto 22Vir24 gives him enormous success potential. Yet many people were born with the same trio - so what he's done with his talents has been his choice and it reminds me of the old saw about fruitcakes at Christmas: people spend all that time, effort, and money baking fruitcakes when they could be making something good.

Yes, 'Dark Prince' certainly describes the man's career path and that's only considering the parts we know about.

Jupiter conjoined with South Node is similar to a Jupiter/Saturn conjunction which indicates a serious attitude toward life, conservatism, and practicality. Obstacles and snags must be overcome in the career path but with perseverance, success usually follows. (With him, it depends on what one defines as 'success', imho.)

Jupiter/SN conjunctions describe one whose ethical and social aims clash with prevailing standards of society and this creates conflicts of interests. He finds himself in disagreement with religious teachings and meets with blockages against attainment of higher education. Interesting that natal Venus 00Tau07 is at a violent degree in the zodiac, the 00 - 1 Taurus area (Hitler's 'trigger point', his natal Sun degree.)

The power trio mentioned offers a midpoint picture to consider and as you know, the combo of Uranus/Pluto relates to revolution, secret agencies, collection of intell, riots, and violent upheavals that lead to changes in government. (Munkasey.)

Uranus/Pluto = Jupiter: added insight into legal and political processes that are used for expressing ideas about reform and change; an excess of strong feelings about imposing major changes into various areas of life.

Perhaps Prince's book will express this against the Democrats. But my strong feelings are that his arguments should more correctly be addressed toward the entire US political system, not just half of it, for all of them voted to invade the Middle East (with very few exceptions - and some of those were against Bush's war only to create an 'effect'.)

Is the big reveal that Dems were complicit and lies were told? Duh! They still are and do.

Bill Maher on Christine O'Donnell's win

By now you've heard that Tea Party candidate Christine O'Donnell won big in yesterday's Republican primary in Delaware with the eventual plum in the pie being VP Joe Biden's old Senate seat.

Click to watch Mr. Maher on CNN with Larry King last evening; text of the comedian's remarks are included. He says he knows O'Donnell personally and likes her (she's a nice person) but adds his usual maverick spin to the analysis!

Personally I like anyone or anything that ruffles Karl Rove's feathers or knots his jammies in a bunch and he predicted O'Donnell's loss. Oops! Seems the rules of the Republican game have changed, old horse. Perhaps it's time for ya to mosey to the barn.

Deja-vu: the Lehman Brothers collapse 2008 - 2010

September 15, 2010: it's been two years since the stupid mistake was made to let the venerable Lehman Brothers firm crash into bankruptcy. This morning NPR did a 4 minute interview with Peter Chapman who's written a book on the subject. The interview is worth a listen, if you missed it.

Now here's a post I wrote in September 2008 which details, among other things, the Lehman Brothers crisis of 1984, a study in financial deja-vu that came to pass in 2008. What? Well, you know what I mean.

And here are my blabbings in honor of last year's 1st anniversary of the firm's bankruptcy filing with a little Astrology tossed in to the brew. President Obama remarked upon the situation to mark the 1st anniversary.

Then in March 2010 Lehman Brothers was in the news again.

In hindsight, some objects may be larger than they appear.

We certainly know by now that the mainstream media is merely a purveyor of a false reality full of celebrity news, sensationalism, doublespeak, and misinformation designed to divert us from an understanding of reality, not uncover it.

Are we truly poised on the precipice of a Global Awakening? Is there such a thing as Christ Consciousness? Years ago my church taught me that there is a Spiritual Church of Christ and I believe that these are one and the same - and that this is the sort of very important information the elite bloodline rulers of the world don't want us to wake up to from within their mass hypnosis of the fake reality surrounding us!

They prefer that we keep within our boxes, the same old mindsets continually promoted by religious and educational systems.

Mr. Igan covers many topics from Codex Alimentarius, to the Illuminati and Sun cult that rule the mundane world, to the fact that a one-world-government is already in control by way of global money and information systems. A difference is, he puts them into a universal context from the perspective of the power each individual possesses. So not only is there power in numbers but a deep and universal power within each human being.

As the matrix-infused Tarot often advises me: remember your connection to your eternal birthright! Wake up and remember.

Congress returns, Moon enters Sagittarius 9.13.10

Today the US Congress returns to Capitol Hill after the August break for a 4-week session and with many items to address which include the thorny question of whether to extend the Bush tax cuts or not, and for the middle class or the rich.

Meanwhile, overhead, Sun remains in earthy Virgo today while the Moon floats into fiery Sagittarius, passing the gate of '1Sag' with its Sabian Symbol that has become the modus operandi of Washington politics: "A Grand Army of the Republic Campfire."

Sun Virgo-Moon Sagittarius is the facts vs figures combo of energies and relates, not just to today, but to this short session of Congress. Intellectual enthusiasm is its keynote with a restless yet controlled sensibility. This is the urbane thinker and communicator blend with an inquiring mind, strong sense of duty, quick wit, and a moralistic streak.

A few members may climb onto their philosophical high horses but the Virgoan side will bring things down to earth. Preconceived ideas influence and may set someone up for disappointment even as their sentimental ideals struggle for inclusion in the proceedings.

Sun Vir-Moon Sag tends to expect 'reasonable' answers for human suffering; its lack of empathy for, and a judgmental attitude toward, those who appear to live without guiding ideals may become evident and may qualify as the 'all through your life you made choices' coldness that pretends to jettison the 'am I my brother's keeper?' argument of old - still and always with us - with a moral certitude predominating. That's some high horse they have there since it's against biblical principles (at least in my Bible. Not sure which version some of them use to justify their coldness toward their fellow citizens while bombing women and children. Are you?)

This Sun-Moon blend is shared natally by a few entertainers and one politician's wife that I know of, therefore, it may be assumed that the Capitol Hill Theater is in session, dahlink!

2012 the Year of Astrology

Here is an initial link I'm posting today which concerns a movement to make 2012 the Year of Astrology so if you're an astrologer, a student of the venerable art, and/or author of or contributor to a website, blog, or forum on astrological topics, you may wish to take part or simply check it out!

As you know, 2012 has been called a cosmic year of awareness or perhaps even a step into the unknown and Astrology is a system of thought, a language, and a tool to help us understand our world at deeper levels than meet the eye.

Sun-Moon blends of 9/11/01 and 9/11/10

Today marks nine years since the attacks of 9/11/01 when the Sun was in Virgo and Moon in Gemini. Naturally, the Sun is in Virgo today was well, but expectably the Moon's sign is different.

9/11/01's Solar Return to 18Vir51 occurred today at 12:42:27 pm edt in Manhattan with the Moon at 4Sco25, so let's briefly compare the two Sun-Moon blends, then and now. Rising was 00Sag46 with '1Sag' being the "A Grand Army of the Republic Campfire" for its Sabian Symbol.

9/11/01: Sun Vir/Moon Gem is an Earth-Air blend indicating rationality, innovation, and efficiency and describes a temperament of the practical idealist who thinks and plans a course of action, then acts without emotional considerations. Oddly enough, there is a conscious impulse to build, consolidate, and organize and to make one's efforts as far-reaching as possible.

I say 'oddly enough' because one might wonder how destruction of buildings on that day can apply here. Perhaps something was under construction in the then-new Bush-Cheney administration which needed the shock value of the attacks in order to prosper and grow. As with most things mysterious, we could say, follow the money to see who highly profited from these heinous acts - and add 'power grabbing' to the mix since politicians were and are intimately involved.

Earth-Air is the 'dry as dust' combo of energies of someone who is adept at mastering the mundane world with a cost-effective, scientific approach.

2001's Sun Vir-Moon Gem is a combo of mental dexterity, refined tastes, and coolness. This describes a conscientious worker who takes play just as seriously as work. Opportunities come for shrewd advancement and are relished; analytical abilities and organizational skills meet with a flair for communication and presentation.

This is a good blend for linguists, analysts, journalists and writers but may result in overly critical, overly intellectual attitudes toward life and relationships; pessimistic moods are a potential along with 'too much information'.

(We certainly saw the film of the WTC attack over and over and over again on CNN as well as on other channels, didn't we? Shoving the images into our collective memory were they.)

9/11/10: Sun Vir-Moon Sco is an Earth-Water blend, the 'Mud, mud, glorious mud' combo of energies. It's potter's clay on the wheel ready to be formed - the bricks, tiles, and concrete of construction. There is an innate wisdom to understand what is important and what is not, and both material and emotional security are required. Caring and loyal, this blend must be watchful of developing a limited viewpoint.

2010's Sun Vir-Moon Sco blend is discriminating and dedicated, resourceful, emotionally controlled, and long-suffering (nine years!) Health is a prominent issue (first responders?) and opinionation may be evident.

This combo possesses a servant's loyalty mixed with a tycoon's lust for power! (A description of the attendees of today's observance? That would include VP Joe Biden and Mayor Bloomberg, I do believe...tsk tsk.)

A proud inner voice must speak up and have its say. Improving methods is a must for this blend, along with a need for concentrated work. The combo describes a 'humble soul with hidden depths' as it strives to keep feelings bottled up. Care and concern for family members runs deep and responsibilities are taken seriously; a caution is a tendency to seek vengeance when pushed into a corner (today's anti-mosque protests?)

Emotionally charged opinions limit thinking with Sun Vir-Moon Sco, a combination that lives by a 'work before play' motto.

That last image is almost too weird to comment on (my bold) especially since praying has occurred in NYC today...perhaps a description of secret service agents watching the proceedings?

Well, my small astro-effort here is based on a desire to pay respects on this day to the families and friends of the victims of 9/11/01. No disrespect is meant in the least and I hope my post is not taken as such. Plus, I send a personal shout-out of solidarity to my cousins and their families who live very near Ground Zero.
