Trump and Mercer and the 2018 Summer Eclipses

March 25, 2018: With communicator Mercury now retrograde, a review of videos on the topic of svengali-esque Trump-funder and social recluse Robert 'Bob' Mercer (Renaissance Technologies) and/or daughter Rebekah is actually quite easy to accomplish these days especially since the Cambridge Analytica scandal surfaced into mainstream awareness (and Mercer's funding of it, Breitbart News, Bannon, Conway, Cruz, Trump, etc.)

In one such video posted to YouTube on October 24, 2017, Seth Myers, in one of his The Check In segments, discusses Mercer and his far-right government-hating agenda, and more. Billionaire Mercer's aim is to reduce the US government to the size of a pinhead and he wants "it all to fall down" which perked up my ears since Robert Mercer's Prenatal Solar Eclipse in the 2 New North Saros Series repeats on August 11, 2018 @18Leo41 as The Tower Solar Eclipse for its themes of 'collapse of an existing structure or lifestyle' and the 'rebuilding that begins once the dust settles' (paraphrasing Brady's Predictive Astrology.)

What we can't know ahead of time is whether 'the tower that collapses' refers to the Washington establishment, Trump--his towers and administration, a Wall Street casino crash (where Mercer has worked as a hedge fund manager), the Mercer-Bannon-Trump campaign to destroy our nation, or all such possibilities during the season of influence of the 2 New North eclipse. It seems that all these potential scenarios have been set up by one group of actors or another but which one or ones will be triggered into reality by external events in the form of planetary transits and progressions? Will outcomes be determined by which event occurs first and either swoops the others along or perhaps makes any one of the possibilities moot?

Summer 2018: Eclipse Time Links May Be Activated

My previous thoughts before today have been that The Tower Solar Eclipse relates closely to financial events, in part because of certain US economic conditions brewing in recent years (exs: 2017's massive GOP tax cuts for the wealthy, and Trump's ill-considered trade wars), plus, because of two eclipse-related conditions--that Donald Trump's PE (2 Old North) repeats on July 13, 2018 @20Can41 (chart w details will soon be posted here--stay tuned) and the initial manifestation of Robert Mercer's PE (2 New North) which first manifested on June 17, 1928 @26Gemini during the run-up period prior to the Crash of 1929 (aka, 'Black Tuesday'--a noon horoscope is shown with destructive if wealthy Pluto @20Cancer where Trump's July 13, 2018 Solar Eclipse @20Can41 will 'hit' and thus will be made stronger as it activates the difficult fixed star Castor, one of the dark-light Gemini Twins with potentials for: sudden fame or loss, murder, crippling of limbs, and/or mental illness (A. Louis). Of course, Castor and his twin, Pollux, are also creative stars particularly in the form of writing so journalistic input such as publishing about the potentials just listed will surely be a factor.

Now it's true that both Summer 2018 Solar Eclipses are partial and so are not as strongly influential upon events or people as they could be. However, between them a Total Lunar Eclipse occurs and perhaps that is where most of the secrets lie--and will be revealed. Below is the DC horoscope of the Lunar eclipse of July 27, 2018 @4AQ44 (near US natal SN) with my usual messy notes penned on. The chart is packed full of details with potentials for: strong emotions (furious outbursts), challenges to authority (Trump, Mueller, Putin, or other?), rash actions, even violent measures which, if taken, will result in severe karmic consequences. As you see marked in blue is Mercury Rx, unaspected, and ruler of 7th and 10th houses. Mercury unaspected suggests someone Mercurial who's isolated and/or hyperactive (Mercurial Trump the tweeter? Don jr in hiding?) and it looks as if retaliation is upcoming (trade wars?) via asteroid Tisiphone conjunct North Node.

As you see, it's an Hour of changeable Mercury Rx with chart-ruler Jupiter in Scorpio making only one Ptolemaic applying aspect, a trine to Neptune Rx in its own sign of shady Pisces. This applying aspect denotes that tricky conditions will continue or worsen, illusions and delusions will continue to abound, disguises are worn or attempted, and/or someone benefits from a run of 'dumb luck'. What I didn't add on the chart is the typical Jupiter-Neptune speculation which implicates the stock market and the usual tendencies toward over-promises, grand gestures, bubbles, and/or get-rich-quick and other schemes. Caution is advised! This eclipse affects the 2/8 money axis which can also tag sexual, corporate, or other antics now ripe for spotlights and the revelations uncovered by the 2018 Summer Eclipses.

Now attractive Venus at Midheaven suggests that critical perspectives and more modest values may be desired yet with US natal Neptune (22Vir25) at Lunar Eclipse Midheaven, the deluded/deluding conditions mentioned above may be already in play and too ingrained for much improvement from valuable Venus (possible currency wars too?). Of course, the exalted position in the chart of Venus in Mercury-ruled Virgo, sign of the virgin, may also be pointing directly toward Trump's ongoing scandals with the ladies--or perhaps another public figure's sexy behavior or finances will become public fodder for the media (MC). Either way, legalities will ensue with Venus in 9th house and more indictments or trials may occur. We should also note that 22Virgo+ is the degree of golfer Donald Trump's natal 2nd cusp, a money house--and he does love to spend (waste) large amounts of taxpayer money on vacation get-aways.

Then cosmically speaking, there's the 'natal echo' in the chart via one of Trump's natal midpoint pictures repeated here by transit--marked in orange, upper right, and posited in 2nd house is Mars-Saturn = Pluto: rage, fury, destruction, bodily harm--and what there was no space to write--brutality, all potentials compliments of Reinhold Ebertin

The last chart factor I want to mention in the Lunar Eclipse chart is a dynamic T-Square between the challenge-prone Sun-Mars opposition and quirky Uranus in money sign Taurus (in 5th house of Speculation) which forms a midpoint picture of potentials for: premature action, rash behavior, over-taxing of strength, sudden events, new conditions, and/or military call-up as in times of war--or in times when an Oval Office occupant needs more 'soldiers' in the war he wages on whomever or whatever gets in his way. And synchronistically enough, the July 27, 2018 Lunar Eclipse @4AQ44 falls within Mr. Trump's natal 6th house of Military, Police, and Civil Service.

4 Virgo and the Midpoint Pictures of Trump and Hitler

Is it some sort of hellish alt-right synchronicity that the current and the soon-coming Secondary Progressed (SP) New Moons of Donald Trump and Adolf Hitler fall so near one another at 3:28 and 3 degrees of the Mercury-ruled sign of Virgo?

Hitler's SP New Moon recently perfected on February 24, 2017 @3Vir28:15 (at 12:28:29 pm CET; natal location: Braunau am Inn, Austria). Rounded up = 4 Virgo; 3 Virgo is the karmic confrontation degree which is not included in this brief post).

Trump's SP New Moon @3Vir00:12 perfects on September 19, 2019 (at 7:19:51 pm edt; Queens, NY, in case you want to set up transit charts to compare with their natal and progressed charts).

SP New Moons issue from, or are based on, natal horoscopes; view the horoscopes of Adolf Hitler (RR: AA) and/or Donald Trump (RR: AA).

So as you probably already know, the Sabian Symbol for '4 Virgo' is particularly revealing of these two egomaniac snake oil salesmen who use racism, Goebbels' Big Lie tactic, and other emotionally based rhetoric to manipulate and divide the masses. (edit: with topics such as this):

(The prison gang/crime syndicate the aryan brotherhood is closer to the black vs white truth kept continually stirred up into a simmer, then a boil by vested financial interests--profiteering warmongers who start wars for other men and women to fight; many of them are bald and "dominate gatherings.")

So both Trump's and Hitler's mdpt pictures show emotional issues if not outright neuroses and both have separation ingrained in the chart (aka, 'closeness vs freedom' complexes). Both these self-defensive actors have potentials for attacks from others and both have a Midpoint Rising in their natal charts: Saturn-Neptune = ASC for Donald, and Jupiter-Saturn = ASC for Adolf.

Astro-Notes on the Natal Saturn of Donald Trump with Related Eclipses

As you know, Saturn, planet of authority, responsibility, control, conservatism, authoritarianism, and karma, maintains an orbital period of approximately 29 years. Therefore, a 'Saturn Return' cycle occurs for all living individuals around that schedule based on the birth position of the planet. This also applies to Mr. Donald "Authoritarian" Trump, whose natal Saturn (June 14, 1946) @23Cancer48 is in his 11th house of Alliances, Groups, Wishes, and Hopes. His having older friends or those with authority and/or experience is typical of an 11th house Saturn though Saturn in Cancer is in the sign of its detriment and thus may not express as effectively as he would like.

Saturn: Is Trump's Rise to Power Somehow Involved?

Mr. Trump's natal Venus @25Can44 conjoins natal Saturn (1S56) suggesting that he really does value loyalty, a sense of justice and fair play (aided by his 2nd house stationary direct Jupiter in Venus-ruled Libra--"it's not fair!"), but can also denote discontent, disappointment, and separation in relationships. Astrological Saturn also represents distrust, eccentricity (aided by his oriental planet, radical Uranus in Gemini). Loss of confidence in self or others, and a suspicious and skeptical nature may also be described by a Venus-Saturn conjunction in emotional, tribal Cancer along with his internal issues of self-confidence and self-esteem which seems quite shaky considering all the wild boasting he feels he must constantly do (to convince himself?)

So given Saturn's 29-year cycle, a Saturn Return horoscope is 'good for' nearly three decades and with transit Saturn now in Sagittarius, it's been since 2004 and 2005 that Mr. Trump's Saturn returned to its natal position of 1946. Actually, his last and current Saturn Return is a three-fer and became exact on: September 4, 2004, January 14, 2005, and May 24, 2005 which suggests that perhaps the lessons of Saturn (maturity, patience, perseverance, responsibility, etc) needed to be hammered into that noggin of his more than once. Be that as it may, We the People are now dealing with such issues expressing (or not) within the White House administration of Donald J. Trump, authoritarian-in-chief, and man-child with a super sensitive ego.

On a more positive note, his natal Saturn is direct, not retrograde, so Dad must have been there for him in important ways. Perhaps Mom provided more of his emotional issues since his Moon conjoins the separative South Node of the Moon in Sagittarius (some weakening of the mother-son bond?) and his Mutable Full Moon (Sun Gem-Moon Sag) denotes some type of opposition, dissension, or a stand-off between parents which may have resulted in a splitting of Trump's internal male-female principles (animus-anima). Certainly he has demonstrated rather odd issues with women many times over and makes it known that he values beauty most highly (to the point of goddess worship?) and there is his Saturn (father), in detriment in Moon-ruled Cancer--and natal Moon inconjuncts Saturn (2A36) which hints of his underlying feelings of inferiority and an unconscious susceptibility to flattery (which I believe Mr. Putin and others easily exploit).

So perhaps it's obvious that older (wiser?), more mature, experienced, established people aided this fellow in taking on the responsibility of running the country (to the extent that a 'president' ever does anymore) and yet to post here on all three Saturn Return horoscopes would soon turn this meager post into a book--for some of us, a book of Saturnian sorrows. So let's merely consider the three Solar Eclipse Saros Series in which each of the dates of Mr. Trump's three returns fell into for a general guide to the background influences and themes concerning his planet of the authority he now exercises. Note that at his advanced age, this may be his last Saturn Return unless he lives to be almost 90 years old--but I wouldn't bet against it!

1. Saturn Return September 4, 2004: influenced by the Solar Eclipse of April 19, 2004 @29Ari49, a critical 29th degree, in the 6 North Saros Series; themes concern one's relationship to authority and father figures, and a need to take control; commitments are presented.

2. Saturn Return January 14, 2005: influenced by the eclipse of October 14, 2004 @21Lib05 (on and near where transit Jupiter now visits) in the 6 South series with themes of being forceful and taking power, manic energy, great force within relationships, sudden events, and exerting a huge effort in a group activity.

3. Saturn Return May 24, 2005: influenced by the eclipse of April 8, 2005 @19Ari05 in the 7 North Saros Series with themes of a long hidden and deep passion or lust that suddenly surfaces and takes people by surprise. Note that all three eclipses are in the Aries-Libra war-diplomacy and relationship polarity.

Sounds 'rise to power/take control' enough for me. And of course there is much more that could be written or said about such a Saturnian topic and I have faith that you, dear reader, can say it, if you wish. But for the sake of brevity, let's only add two factors: that 2004 and 2005 fell under the sway of neocon president George Bush (and the Vulcan warmongers are baaack under Trump) who, with his father, helped implement a 'new world order' as did Hitler; and: the third eclipse in the 7 North series is the very same Prenatal Eclipse series of Hitler's Reichstag Fire (horoscope shown of the false flag op that led to his 'rise to power') which reveals a cosmic time link between the eclipse themes influencing 1933, 2005, and a certain vain man's 'rise to power' in 2016/2017 with his 'patriotism' and 'nationalism' slogans blazing (natal Mercury in Cancer) and the bigoted alt-right movement by his side.

2017 Neptune Veils Yet Reflects the Solar Eclipse Influences of the American Revolution

Those familiar with the Year 1775 in US history know that it was a tremendously eventful 12 months in the American Colony during which our major struggle for Independence was sparked and set aflame. Let's take a look at the horoscope of the March 1, 1775 Solar Eclipse @11Pisces11 set for Lexington, Massachusetts where the "shot heard 'round the world" was fired less than two months later on April 19, 1775 and triggered the beginning of the American Revolution.

The March 1, 1775 eclipse in the 11 South Saros Series is the Prenatal Eclipse of the American Revolution and its horoscope, planets, and eclipse themes may reveal a few insights into, and motivations behind, our fight for independence from Britain which ultimately (after many struggles and hardships) brought to fruition the Uranian-Neptunian ideals of The Enlightenment - Utopian ideals which were held by America's Founding Fathers, many if not all of whom were members of secret societies. Does this Neptune transit return with revolutionary ideals in tow?

And if we fast forward to 2016 and 2017, we find transit Neptune conjoining and reflecting the PE of the American Revolution (11Pis11). These hits occurred twice in 2016 and were exact on April 17, 2016 and August 12, 2016. Significantly, the third and final transit of Neptune to the 1775 Solar Eclipse degree occurs on February 16, 2017 and I think you'll find that the themes of 11 South apply closely to the Electoral College selection of Mr. Trump to play the POTUS role, and to the events and behavior of the newly minted Trump presidency with its lack of a mandate from a majority of We the People--hence the millions of people worldwide now protesting in the streets against Trump and his policies. They are re[resented by Neptune, too!

Floating Back to Nebulous if Inspirational Neptune (photo, above)

Now as you know, astrological Neptune resonates with the Arts, veils, masks, disguises, leaks, deception, lies, fraud, weakness, confusion, corruption, disappointment, and the undermining of current conditions, but also suggests the urge to merge, erosion, distrust, delusion (including self-deception), liquids such as water, oil, gas, plus, toxins, infections, and drugs such as alcohol, cannabis, and prescription pills. Yet Neptune's resume also includes such entities as: the Divine Source, the mainstream media, the masses (unwashed or otherwise), the so-called "useless eaters", spiritualists, idealists and ideologues, the Collective and its Unconscious, and propaganda.

To Neptune add realistic Saturn, planet of authenticity, and we have Kellyanne Conway's "alternative facts", invisible/secret government, and sick, depressed, and/or weak people. In other words, Saturn-Neptune keys the now-tattered social safety net programs of FDR's New Deal, the ones Trump and the Republicans (and their financier enablers) are determined to disrupt and destroy--with the help of corporate Democrats--so that control and the money involved in these social programs are handed over to reckless, greedy Wall Street speculators and warmongers. Plus, some creative depopulation occurs by default, leaving more resources for the 'elite' ones who remain. You know how some 'unintended consequences' are actually (Saturn) secretly (Neptune) intended all along.

In addition, the zealous anarchists (Uranus in Aries; Jupiter conjunct Chiron) want our Education Department monies, too, and for this purpose they are forcing an unqualified anti-public-school Betsey DeVos into office to undermine our school system and steal from public education funds (and from our children! You just know that Mr. Jefferson must be turning over in his grave--over the theft and over 'fake news', too).

So obviously, Neptune in its own sign of murky Pisces can 'help' with the *destruction of our social and political institutions and we hear more and more in the Neptunian news media that America is again having a revolution thanks to the alt-right white supremacists who have coup'ed the White House--and the resistance from the pubic. And the September 1, 2016 Solar Eclipse @9Vir21 with its 'good time for tackling the truth; seeing a thing for what it really is' vibes being opposed by transit Neptune in Pisces had its 'realism demands' confused and muddled by deceptive Neptune in opposition to the eclipse themes that were and continue to be sorely needed in this country. A 'good time for tackling the truth' is about to give way to the February 26, 2017 Solar Eclipse themes but has had spotty success so far and Mr. Trump's fake news continues to be promoted ad nausem.

And so in closing, we see that the February 16, 2017 Neptune transit to the 1775 American Revolution Solar Eclipse falls between the upcoming Lunar and Solar Eclipses of February 10th and February 26th and thus creates a trio of significant cosmic manifestations that suggest political reforms in the manner of "A Butterfly with the Right Wing More Perfectly Formed" with its negative connotation of "unhappy and rebellious conceit." But how about the positive manifestation of "25AQ", so near the US natal Moon?

Positive expression: "A genius for turning deficiency into a real asset."

Sounds huge to me! As long as We the People get busy turning the many deficiencies of the Trump regime into real assets to be used against his and Steve Bannon's bigoted alt-right agenda so that the movement becomes our revolution, not his!

Actually, the January 12, 2017 Full Moon at 22Can27 fell precisely upon his natal Uranus (22Can43) and reflects in part his rise to a higher public profile in the White House yet the fact that it's the separative, Saturnian South Node refers to several things--one is that the past is at play here (those grand Anglo-Saxon privilege-y days) and that his popularity and style of radical politics are at low ebb and unlikely to rise. And if we consider the South Node's Saturn influence, here with his Uranus, we find Saturn-Uranus tendencies such as provocation, violence, isolationism, protectionism, and an 'out with the old order, in with the new' attitude from deep within the unconscious. A sudden indifference to traditional laws and ethics is to be expected (Mr. Obama's executive orders aren't laws, of course, but getting rid of them is only a start.)

The Republicans' 'repeal and replace' may have its merits but the chaos this creates cannot be managed as easily as some believe. But that probably doesn't concern those who want We the People in the streets with pitchforks. These reactionaries put on a strong act to hide the fact that they have great difficulty coping with ideas that are different from their own--which isn't strength, it's weakness.

So! Mr. Bannon is a questing Sagittarian (Sun) with natal Moon in either self-dramatizing Leo (Fire) or practical, judgmental Virgo (Earth). If only his birth time would turn up! December 2016 into 2017: Karmic Planets hit the natal chart of Donald Trump

Reviewing the December 2016 and January 2017 planetary transits to the natal chart of president-elect Donald Trump, it may be handy to list the primary aspects that affect Mr. Trump's natal planets as he and his team continue their attempt to populate his cabinet and fill other positions soon to be available in the Trump administration.

Tr = transit; n = natal; assumed is your familiarity with basic astrological principles.

Active transits include karmic Saturn, Jupiter, and karmic Pluto, and in order of occurrence they are:

Dec 2, 2016: Tr Saturn opposite n Uranus (n 10th house): a generational phase but as president (and representative of the Collective), this transit affects the American people with potentials for passage of legislation that imposes restrictions of some kind, plus, there may be a collapse of institutions that tend to benefit the Uranus-in-Gemini generation; groups, associations, and alliances may also be affected via limitations or calls for accountability.

Dec 4, 2016 Mr. Trump's Jupiter Return/s (17Libra27): the first of three conjunctions of tr Jupiter to n Jupiter (2. Apr 13, 2017 Rx; 3. August 4, 2017). This is the 12-year reward cycle of expansive Jupiter which imprints upon the Trump presidency for good or ill--hopefully Jupiter can mitigate other more difficult transits of December 2016 into 2017 which will set the tone of his White House tenure. His natal Jupiter is stationary direct and thus, strong in his chart although his 10th house Uranus actually leads the planetary throng which makes both planets prominent in his natal horoscope and psyche. Mundane Jupiter also represents politicians, corporatists, bankers, financiers, gurus/priests, broadcasters (tweeters?!), and Generals and under this fortunate influence, Trump's social status rises and growth of a commercial enterprise (the presidency? book sales? ruling the world?) is possible, even likely, if negative factors don't interfere. (Remember that Mr. Trump is a Gemini who wants very much to be taken seriously.)

Dec 26, 2016 Tr Saturn conjoins n South Node of the Moon, a karmic point: this double-karmic transit indicates past actions and behaviors that must be faced and expunged now for circumstances demand that they be dealt with in order for progress to be made; consequences must be accepted and there are dues to be paid; this is a separative condition of limitations he last faced in the late 1980s timed by Saturn's 28-year cycle and family issues may be involved.

Dec 30, 2016 tr Saturn conjuncts n Moon (21Sag12): the first of three hits to his n Moon whose sign describes a 'reigning need' (Tyl)--his relates to The Seeker, Sagittarius the freedom-lover, and his quiver full of arrows (2. August 20, 2017 Rx; 3. August 30, 2017). This is a depressive period for Mr. Trump who may feel emotional deprivation keenly as his personal freedom gives way to dutiful presidential requirements. Health and/or family issues are potentials as well, burdens are heavy, worry or anxiety weigh him down, goals are elusive, and financial gains are not favored; even tummy aches may interfere with carrying out his Saturnian duties which increase as he plays president.

Jan 14, 2017 tr Saturn opposes n Sun (22Gem55 in 10th house): stalemates may abound as he attempts legislation and other projects and (solar) goals; this is a testing time of maturity and experience when a willingness to correct mistakes (which he never makes, he says) will determine the ability to move forward into the future. Little will satisfy Mr. Trump's pride and self-image and he may become disappointed, resentful, and/or aggressive toward those who block him; rules and regulations burden him as he chafes under restrictions and the curtailment of his personal freedom--this is similar to the effects of the Saturn-to-Moon transit, above, but with his natal Sun-Moon opposition (a Full Moon), that's the way it goes--whatever planet hits one hits them all in rapid succession, with the Nodal Axis tossed in for more karmic implications as whatever troubles come his way are open to public scrutiny. And the very next day...

Jan 15, 2017 tr Pluto squares n Jupiter (17Libra27 in n 2nd house): this transit can interfere with his Jupiter Return/s in a significant way as plutocrats with more power and influence (the invisible government behind the scenes?) block or delay Mr. Trump's goals for growth and power expansion. Of course, how he copes with such frustration determines the eventual outcome and the areas most affected include: politics, diplomacy, higher education, religion, publishing-advertising-propaganda campaigns, and cultural pursuits. With his natal Jupiter in Libra, the sign of diplomacy, we can expect many ups-and-downs in that department as wealthy manipulator Pluto utilizes his clout toward (or against) the Trump administration. Plus, Libra's Scales of Justice are up for grabs with a Trump Department of Justice with its conservative leanings that are determined to shove our nation back into the 1850s.

Well, that's my brief look at the December 2016 into 2017 transits to the natal planets of Donald J. Trump (progressions will be considered in a later post) and naturally, you may know of other significant transits to his chart. Personally I wish him well as White House representative of all the American people but fear that it will actually be the politically savvy VP Mike Pence of Indiana who will do most if not all of the heavy lifting and will determine the Republican agenda and its implementation which is almost certain to err grievously on the draconian alt-right side of Klansmen and white supremacists.
