February 9, 2021: Trump On Trial for his Failed Coup

February 9, 2021: A Major Event on Capitol Hill

by Jude Cowell

Question: Does Hitler's failed coup d'etat attempt, the Beer Hall Putsch of November 8-9, 1923, historically rhyme with Trump's January 6, 2021 Insurrection against the US Congress? Well, some would say that Nazis were involved in both attempts and yours truly is one of those who would (unhappily) say it. And obviously, both attempts were failures in the government take-over department, so there's that.

Yet here's a difference: we've been informed that Trump will not testify or speak at this week's Senate trial, a wise decision by his lawyers (with perjury an issue). Witnesses may or may not be called but as we found with Trump's previous impeachment trial of January 21, 2020, this week's effort is not actually a trial without them.

Meanwhile, early this morning on the MSNBC website, an opinion by writer Hayes Brown was published concerning 'Trump Trial 2021' and Hitler's failed Beer Hall Putsch after which Adolf was arrested and tried, as you can read about, above, and sentenced to prison. During his trial "--Hitler turned his time on trial for a failed coup attempt into a propaganda win." So whether we hear from Trump concerning this week's Senate trial or not, (and even though he's deplatformed from Twitter), we know that propaganda is one of his middle names.

It remains to be seen whether the former 'president' can manage to keep his trap shut and thereby avoid interfering in the process during this week. I suspect he can because he must. How about you?

2021 Solar and Lunar Eclipses Repeat from 1931

February 4, 2021: During his Live broadcast today, and speaking of the 'Republican Party', Thom Hartmann stated that,"--what we're seeing, much as in Germany in 1931, is a major political party turning fascist."

In relation to the rise of fascist militias under figurehead Tr*mp and their goal of seizing power, seen by all on January 6, 2021, the following are lists of the Solar and Lunar Eclipses of 1931 (top) and those of 2021 (bottom) in the 5 North and 5 South families of eclipses with basic themes of the Solar Eclipses added (top):

Now it's true that the themes of 5 North and 5 South sound quite mild but they are still disruptive 'wild cards of the Universe' in that Uranian way of all eclipses, with the power to reveal inconvenient secrets or facts that change directions of events and contain the possibility of scandal and disgrace.

Solar Eclipses in both the 5 North and 5 South Saros Series also occurred in the years 1913 (@16Ari/6Lib), 1949 (@8Tau/28Lib), 1967 (@18Tau/9Sco), 1985 (@29Tau/20Sco), 2003 (@9Gem/1Sag), (2021), and 2029 (@00Can/23Sag).

Jupiter-Pluto: The Plutocrat Pair

Historical events during these '5 North/5 South' years may serve as clues for potential events of 2021 into 2022. Also note that year 2021 holds no Great Conjunctions but 1931 was the year of a mighty Jupiter-Pluto Conjunction on May 27, 1931 @19Can16 (goosed by the Total Lunar Eclipse of May 26, 2021?) as was year 2020 when Jupiter met Pluto three times: April 5, June 30, and November 12 in the sensitized degree range of 22 to 25 Capricorn and therefore conjunct US Inaugural Midheaven ('MC' @26/27Cap).

Jupiter to MC says that good fortune without accountability can be easily lost; Pluto to MC suggests the attainment of power but with regret if others are allowed to make decisions (which to me is a hint that wealthy manipulators, domestic and foreign, must not be allowed to take over and direct the presidential agenda. A vain hope?).

Update 5:26 pm est: Nazi Rise to Power Eclipse will soon repeat.

2018 Lunar and Solar Eclipses with Themes

Re: Cosmic Blinks! 'Wild Card' Eclipses Affect History

For better viewing, please enlarge the image of the 2018 list of Solar Eclipses (with themes) and Lunar Eclipses.

Occurring after what's being called The Great American Eclipse of August 2017 which 'splits' our nation from coast to coast, the 2018 Solar Eclipses fall into the 1 South, 2 (New) North, and 2 Old North Saros Series and, based on the Nodal cycle of 18.6 years, are repeats of the eclipses of year 2000 in the same signs (AQ, Cancer, Leo) but at different degrees. In addition, the year 2000 brought a fourth Solar Eclipse in the 2 South Series which manifested on Christmas Day @4Capricorn. This go-round, 2 South will repeat on January 6, 2019 @15Capricorn with themes of suddenly finding a new group to join and expecting great gains from such group involvement (Brady).

Since history tends to rhyme if not repeat, deeper insights into the 2018 Solar Eclipses may be attained by considering the historical events that occurred in the years that their initial eclipses began:

1 South occurred @1Vir15 on August 24, 1729 (ends September 22, 2973); 2 (Old) North began @5Can49 on June 24, 792 (OS) (ends July 23, 2036); 2 New North began June 17, 1928 @26Gem21 (ends July 16, 3172) and not only relates to the NYSE and finances but through the influence of its theme of collapse is understandably called, The Tower. Of course, the WTC Twin Towers were already brought down on September 11, 2001 but we now have NYC's Trump Tower (and various other Trumpish structures across the globe) to concern us in more ways than one. Significantly, 2 Old North is the Prenatal Eclipse series of Mr. Donald Trump and in 1946, his year of birth, eclipsed America's natal Uranus @9Gemini--our totem planet of war and revolt.

However, please note that "The Tower" Solar Eclipse of July 31, 2000 (which repeats on August 11, 2018 @18Leo41) was actually not the Prenatal Eclipse (PE) of the 9/11 attacks as we might expect. The PE of 9/11/01 was the 3 North which manifested prominently at Summer Solstice 2001 (June 21) upon the Cardinal World Point of 00Cancer, the stargate degree. And with glaring synchronicity as humanity entered the New Millennium, the winds of war and strife had already been let loose as described by the August 11, 1999 Solar Eclipse in the 1 North series, the 'Mother of All Eclipses' that Nostradamus warned us about so many moons ago with its Fixed Grand Cross of Oxen-Lion-Eagle-Angel (mid-degrees of Taurus-Leo-Scorpio-Aquarius) which may be found prophetically described in the Book of Revelation.

Barack Obama hearts Teddy Roosevelt? Uh-Oh!

March 1, 2012

Just an interesting article link for you today meant especially for those who like to read about historical figures: Contrarian: Teddy Roosevelt Laid Bare from History Today which questions the wisdom of President Obama's hearkening back to Teddy Roosevelt and the early days of Progressivism in America.

Now if I weren't packing for the moving van, I could really get goin' on the Astrology of Teddy R! Instead, here's a bit of Astrology concerning TR's natal chart which includes his intriguing quote about America's invisible (Neptune) government (Saturn).

US natal Neptune 22Vir25 + US natal Saturn 14Lib48 = US natal Midheaven (Goal; Aspiration) in the Sibly horoscope (July 4, 1776 5:10 pm LMT Philadelphia, PA; MC 00Lib53, a World Point of Manifestation...kind of like 'Manifest Destiny', the idea of expansion without end, as we now see--and expansive Jupiter ruling US natal ASC.)

Saturn/Neptune = delusions about the real leadership. (Munkasey.)

Saturn/Neptune = MC: materialism v idealism. (Ebertin.)

Bastille Day 2009's riots in France + Dec 20, 2009

2009's Bastille Day has once again brought an annual round of chaos and violence to France with burning cars and street riots.

A horoscope of the storming of the Bastille on July 14, 1789 set for 5:30 pm lmt, the time the gates were thrown open by Governor de Launay and the mobs rushed in to liberate the fortress-prison, that symbol of royal tyranny, shows magician Hermes Rx rising with 17Sag39 on the horizon.

Chart-ruler Jupiter applies to a difficult sesqui-square with Saturn 23Pis10 Rx in 3rd house; then Jupiter applies to conjunction with Venus (1A58; Venus 4Leo44 in 8th house.) Lady Venus is vengeful when treated badly or scorned; she is an archetype of the Statue of Liberty and of other images and statuaries of liberty everywhere.

Revolutionary Times and Climes

France had some big economic woes: she had over-stretched her coffers by sending aid to America for our War of Independence, her nobility had refused to pay their taxes to King Louis XVI, and the National Assembly had made obsolete the monarchy in this four-in-one revolution of the poor against the rich. France in the late 1700s had the largest population in Europe and was struggling to feed herself (commodity price manipulations were at work behind the scenes even then.)

Why a four-in-one revolution? Going by Nicholas Hagger writing in his comprehensive book,The Secret History of the West, the first part was the Orleanist Revolution of 1789. Each of the four, Hagger states, had different goals and different leaders.

The Orleanist Revolution involved Adam Weishaupt and his Illuminati Society of Bavaria, a branch if not an acorn of a larger sect (if Weishaupt's group can be said to be connected to older versions in other regions of the world - debatable, but possible - if not physically, then perhaps inspirationally.)

That there was a conspiracy behind the French Revolution is mentioned in many sources so I will not cover them all here. But a shadowy man by the name of Choderlos de Laclos supposedly ran the conspiracy, and Weishaupt's front man was the Duc d'Orleans so you see where this phase of the chaos got its moniker.

Since the harvest of 1788 was a bust, things had gone from bad to worse for the people of France. The revolution started with the exploitation of a grain scarcity during the summer along with rumors of threats to the food supply (kind of like what we hear out of Washington these days - now it's honey worries in the US! And this after frightening us about honeybee hive collapse. There's that word again, collapse.)

Hagger continues, "The 'Orleanist Conspiracy' was an uprising of the bourgeoisie against the nobles, using popular mobs to do the bourgeoisie's dirty work."

Well, I won't go into more details now about how things went on in France in those dark days when terror stalked the earth, for we know it stalks still. Plus, you've already heard of the Jacobin Club in the events of those oppressive times, but did you know the Jacobins were organized by the Illuminist Templars and the Duc de Orleans, who came to be known as "Philippe-Egalite"? Magician and alchemist Hermes was undoubtedly on the scene - oh yeah - he's rising in the 'storming the Bastille' chart as mentioned above.

1789 - 2009: Has Mankind Learned Better?

My belief is that the Nostradamus-predicted Mother of All Eclipses, aka the King of Terror or King of Alarm Eclipse of August 11, 1999 with its Fixed Grand Cross of planets heralded a wave of ills across the planet that only the most directed group of selfless energies blended into one strand of harmony can hope to assuage them.

We need our Guardian Angels prayed close to us each one, m'peops, if that's a comfort to you. And if not, why on earth not? Forces are at work against the gentle, yet it is gentleness that persuades. Peace not war!

And when astrologically we think of revolution, we don't only think of rebellious awakener Uranus, we think of warrior Mars, Jupiter the General, Pluto the saboteur and death-dealer, perhaps Venus the avaricious, and of cloudy Neptune of the masses and of delusions, confusions, and fraud.

Timekeeper and boundary-guard Saturn usually will put a stop to out-of-control things, but not always in the ways we would want. The Old Man can be a little curt and sparse at times which you know if you've met him.

December 20, 2009

So as the Marseillaise planets, Mars, Jupiter, and Neptune, perform a stalemate tableaux on December 20, 2009 with Mars stationary at '20Leo' opposing the Jupiter/Neptune conjunction in Aquarius (#3 of 3), we may expect some pent-up actions to break out in various global hot spots, or at the least - financial upheavals in banking, trade, and global stock markets (Jupiter and Neptune are conjunct in the NYSE's natal chart but in Libra, an Air sign as is AQ.)

Government and the judiciary (Jupiter) will continue to be in the news if not in our hearts.

Other major planetary configurations add to a volatile mix for society in general by the end of 2009 and into 2010, and ecological balances are much in peril with a variety of these issues coming to a must-be-dealt-with climax. Neptune is linked with the oceans, as you know, and corals are dying fast, while drinkable water is disappearing - or is being cornered as a 'market.'

Yes, on Dec 20, 2009 there is a midpoint picture formed and you already know that the Jupiter/Neptune conjunctions of 2009 are all occurring upon the US natal Moon (the people; the public) which results in a 'becoming involved in speculation; going with the wind; instability; losing oneself in plans' vibe.

Well, in December, stationary Mars in Leo comes along to plump up the pillows and add a jolt of testosterone to the mystic brew...

Jup/Nep = Mars: strong idealism; the need for practical focus; unreliability; prone to irresponsible actions; relying on others and consequently being let down; a desire to realize plans without prospect; the act of speculating.

Plus, Mars is stationing in the sign of royalty and nobility - Leo, the natural leader who tends to roar.

So this means that transiting Mars in Leo opposes US natal Moon in AQ - or will, depending on which US birth chart you use. So even without the inflationary, fraudulent, and/or mystical Jupiter/Neptune cycle beginning all over again, the addition of Mars indicates a testy time period when raising antagonism in others is ill-advised. Anger, passion, and violence can appear in various forms during this transit, and of course 'home' and 'security needs' are involved since the effects are upon the US Moon.

Equipment breakdowns may be on the menu, and driving is somehow affected for many people (get that car maintenance done asap just in case!); traffic jams may be on our radars for a while (a stationary planet is a strong planet pausing to make a cosmic point - so its influence lingers a while.)

Pay close attention to whatever you do, including chores in the kitchen where hot things and sharp knives (Mars) are kept. Oh! and stock some tummy meds about the place for you may be needing a dose with all the emotional drama going on.

And above all: be aware that this irritability too shall pass!

~:~

Mars, Jupiter, and Neptune are the 'Marsellaise planets' because the three were conjunct in late degrees of Libra on the day the French people captured the Tuileries palace and dethroned King Louis XVI.

Various combinations of their energies are kept a close if squinty eye upon by this particular reluctant astrologer especially since the US natal chart has Geminian Mars square Virgoan Neptune, and Mars is 14 degrees from Jupiter in Cancer.

A Mars/Neptune square makes for confused motivations with an occasional lapse into inspirational activities.

Georgia vs South Ossetia: old is new

Today there's been a post published with some background on the Georgia-South Ossetia region and their re-ignited 100-year conflict along with some regional details I discovered in The Century Cyclopdia, circa 1898, which you may find of interest.

Guess re-igniting flames of contention is easy when things smolder for so long - and you have cynical politicians around who don't mind using you to promote their own agendas for state control.

thoughts of and on Samuel Adams

"The liberties of our country, the freedom of our civil Constitution, are worth defending at all hazards; and it is our duty to defend them against all attacks. We have received them as a fair inheritance from our worthy ancestors: they purchased them for us with toil and danger and expense of treasure and blood, and transmitted them to us with care and diligence.

It will bring an everlasting mark of infamy on the present generation, enlightened as it is, if we should suffer them to be wrested from us by violence without a struggle, or to be cheated out of them by the artifices of false and designing men." #

Samuel Adams (1722-1803), aka the "Father of the American Revolution."

Oops! the cheating and artifices began years ago, sad to say.

Here's the WIKI article on Samuel Adams if you're interested, and I took a peep at his natal placements for day of birth...his Mercury/Mars conjunction in Libra sextile n Saturn 12Sag57 (Saturn conj US natal ASC in the 'Sibly' chart indicating a long-term and strong relationship.)

Sep 27, 1722, Boston, MA: Moon was in Taurus the entire day so we have a personality blend of Sun Lib/Moon Tau which is a diplomatic combo with a desire for justice.

An Air-Fire blend is a "live wire" type of personality, no matter the signs, and may be blustering and long-winded. Full of ideas and persuasive ability, Air-Fire type tends to be a utopian idealist...just what America needed at the time, bluster and all.

Sun Lib/Moon Tau has a very good business sense (for beer brewing, one assumes, and otherwise!) and is interested in abstract ideas which are put across with impartial passion.

With both Libra and Taurus ruled by Venus, art and music are well-loved, and people and relationships are of primary importance. Adams believed that everyone should be heard as this blend supports.

This is an idealist + hedonist blend, a lover of nature with a healthy helping of generosity and friendliness; plus, this blend gave Adams a patient and balanced commitment to justice which served his nation well.

War and John Quincey Adams July 11, 1767

Here you see the natal chart (Rodden rating: C, data in question) of our 6th president, John Q. Adams. Outer notations in orange are positions for his last Lunar Return which occurred on his day of death, actual time unknown; place: the Capitol Building.

Lunar Return chart Feb 2, 1848, 10:21 pm, Capitol Bldg, has both Moon 18Cap40 and Jupiter 12Can10 Rx Angular, common for a death chart. Also common is Jupiter's involvement with his magnifying properties, and the Moon is an excellent timing device. (I often use the Moon to time deaths from long ago when the actual time is unknown or unrecorded.)

1848's Jupiter is at the Mrs Rx station degree of Nov 15, posted upon below.

Adams was a short, stout, bald, and not well-liked man--which sounds like a vp we know, doesn't it?

Checking his progressed charts for his death date, I found a Minor (mental/causal plane) midpoint picture which may be worth considering:

Mars/Saturn = Neptune: weak vitality; waning powers and weakening efforts; undermining of the vitality through poison, gas, or epidemic; a mysterious death; grievous loss.

Adams' Pre-Natal Eclipse Series, 3North, is the same Series as for the attacks of 9/11, for "Black Thursday" of Oct 29, 1929, and is the PE of writer Danny Casolaro, who was murdered as he investigated our political crime families and others for a book. Needless to say, Casolaro's notes mysteriously disappeared and his book was squashed along with his life in August, 1991.

You may notice that on the day of Adams' passing, tr Moon had conjuncted n Pluto (a planet unknown at the time, of course) at appr 7:57 am, so perhaps John Q. didn't make it through the day until his Moon Return that evening.

But the old work horse was in the Capitol Building slogging away apparently, with:

Mars/Saturn = Uranus: nerve disease; a quick departure.

And here a few important words still of concern to America from President Adams:

"[America] goes not abroad, in search of monsters to destroy. She is the well-wisher to the freedom and independence of all. She is the champion and vindicator only of her own. She will commend the general cause by the countenance of her voice, and the benignant sympathy of her example. She well knows that by once enlisting under other banners than her own, were they even the banners of foreign independence, she would involve herself beyond the power of extrication, in all the wars of interest and intrigue, of individual avarice, envy, and ambition, which assume the colors and usurp the standard of freedom."

- John Quincy Adams - (1767-1848) 6th US President - Source: Speech before the House of Representatives, July 4, 1821; quoted in William Bonner and Pierre Lemieux (Editors), The Idea of America (Les Belles Lettres, 2003), p. 237

are you celebrating Columbus Day?

Perhaps you are, but you can be more celebratory by reading my tiny Ode to Columbus Day which has a drawing from Secret Moon Art included with artist's compliments, entitled: You May Cross the Great Water--a quite Neptunian image.

But on another level, so is the festive bottle of bubbles seen above!

And on a political note, you know America has the Saturn to natal Neptune transit beginning with any, all, or none of the following influences:

giving up under stress; denial; losing focus; misrepresentation of responsibilities; assuming the burdens of others; deception in money matters; harsh reality surfaces; disillusionment.

The positive side includes creative projects benefiting through traditions, structure, and more realism; spiritual growth through established institutions; and charitable efforts are put to more practical, focused uses.

Today in 1660: King Charles II restored

FACT OF THE DAY from The Scotsman:

King Charles II is restored to the English throne today in 1660. He had previously been crowned King of Scotland on 1 January 1651 and had attempted to reunite the kingdoms by attacking Cromwellian forces in England. This led to a resounding defeat at the Battle of Worcester where, according to legend, he hid in the 'Royal Oak' until the coast was clear. Upon restoration, Charles acknowledged his thanks to his Scottish soldiers by making The Royal Scots the first regular regiment of the modern British Army.

To read more about Scotland's past visit heritage.scotsman.com while pondering Great Britain's current separation anxieties as history repeats.

Looking at the natal chart of Charles II (June 8, 1630 NS) we see that his resoration to the throne occurred at his Saturn Return, age 30.

After his father, Charles I's beheading (Jan 30, 1649), Charles II spent nine years in exile and when the English people had had their craw full of Cromwell's "protectorate" (he died in 1658) they invited Charlie back to the throne.

(Apparently the political tradition of naming things the opposite of what they are or do is as olde as yon hills...the olde 'lipsticke on a pig' ploy.)

Charles II's rule is considered the most licentious of the British monarchy yet he presided over major events as well: two wars with the Dutch, the Plague, the Great Fire of London, and the passage of the Habeas Corpus Act, among others. A busy yet naughty boy who produced no legitimate heirs.

Charles died of Bright's disease in 1685, age 54, a hedonist monarch whose n Sun's symbol in Adriano Carelli's The 360 Degrees of the Zodiac applies quite well:

"9Gem": "An enthroned queen holding in one hand the Earth's gold surmounted by the cross; in the other, her scepter"...fond of riddles and chess, and a ruler born.
