Putin, Russia's natal chart, and a Full Moon on March 16 2014

A Full Moon can be quite auspicious when it falls upon a natal planet or Angle and in the case of tomorrow's Full Moon @26Vir01, that would be the Ascendant of Russia's sovereignty horoscope (June 12, 1990; 9:45 am GMT, ASC 26Vir11; Campion's The Book of World Horoscopes.) Some kind of fulfillment of a project, a separation, or a culmination of a plan is indicated along with 'awareness in relationship' vibes attend Full Moons. And as you know, a referendum vote will be held tomorrow (March 16, 2014) to 'decide' if Crimea wants to hitch its star to Russia's wagon--either now or later, rather than unite with the European Union. That's a pretty sorry vote, if you ask me--a 'rock and a hard place' kind of deal for the people.
As the world sees, the 'project' involves troop movements and war for if we set tomorrow's Full Moon chart for Moscow, warrior Mars @26Lib06 Rx and North Node @28Lib37 are rising (ASC 12Lib33 which brings up America's natal Saturn @14Lib48. Can the US perform as a Saturnian barrier to events? We have been citing agreements signed by Russia concerning invasion of national sovereignty which Putin now ignores. And why not since everyone has noticed that the US didn't play by the rules when it invaded Iraq, for example. Hypocrisy much, Washington?)

Additionally, the November 3, 2013 Solar Eclipse @11Sco15, which is still in force, conjoined, triggered, or eclipsed the natal Venus (11Sco42) of Vladimir Putin. Venus relates to jealousy, envy, and revenge and with his natal Venus in vengeful, secretive Scorpio, something was bound to happen. Venus in Scorpio can tend to waste its energy through excessive passion and self-control often wavers or vacillates with this placement. Unfortunately, the diplomatic skills of Venus seem to be lacking on Putin's part in current circumstances with belligerence holding sway. Plus, the attraction principle of Venus attracts spying Scorpio types of activities, interests, and people to the side of this 'former' KGB agent.
Mr. Putin's natal Sun Libra-Moon Gemini blend (Air-Air) indicates that he may spread himself too thin to accomplish all his goals but perhaps it somewhat depends upon who aids him in his current take-over endeavors.

March 2013 US Progressions: SP Mars-Saturn = SP Moon
March-April 2013: US Progressions Show Strain of SP Mars-Saturn = SP Moon (We the People)

Sometimes when listening to Washington DC politicians squawk, deceive, propagandize, and scam it's helpful to look at certain progressions issuing from America's natal horoscope (using July 4, 1776 5:10 pm LMT Philadelphia, PA today) for an updated snapshot of what we as a nation of leaders and citizens have evolved into, or the point of progress we have reached.
Below you see an image of the USA's secondary progressions (physical plane) for March 11, 2013 at 3:51 pm, the moment of a New Moon @21Pis24, which falls into the 7th house of Legal Partnerships and Open Enemies in the SP chart. A few details follow (click image to enlarge for more details), but mainly I wanted to show you a difficult midpoint picture involving America's SP Moon (the public) which is in the mood for balance in unequal conditions and situations, but instead we're getting political theater, illusions, deceptions--and from Mars-Saturn's energies of 'destroyed vitality; destruction; harm' influences, we're being subjected to quarrels and conflicts (Mars) blended with austerity and restriction (Saturn):
SP Mars-Saturn = SP Moon: feelings about losing something (our jobs, our futures, our country? jc); moodiness or depression; lack of courage--or, developing courage and strength; a need to restrain impulsive activities; anger over restrictions (anti-women's-rights legislation and odd proposals by misogynist Republicans who don't relate in a normal fashion to the ladies? jc); energy levels that fluctuate. (Tyl; Ebertin; Munkasey.)
The combined energies of the Mars-Saturn duo also relate to potentials for military power, use of strife and struggle, persistent wars, frustration for or by criminal elements, demands to halt armaments (ex: North Korea which says its missiles can now attack Americans--the people = Moon--jc), continued military actions under political or other restrictions, an obligation to use force when restraint is called for, ambitiously taking the property of others, and/or an older enterprise which becomes angered.
In April, the SP Mars-Saturn = SP Moon picture will perfect (25Lib48) and be at its strongest concerning 2/8 and 3/9 house matters, if it expresses at all.
That last sounds like the ongoing influence of the Uranus-Pluto Cardinal Square with its generational challenges as old guard (Pluto) blocks and is blocked by Uranian rebels and whippersnappers of a 'radical reform' nature. And I'm certain that you recognize players like old-guard Senators John McCain and Lindsay Graham being none too pleased (so they say) with the likes of Senator Ted Cruz whose physical and rhetorical resemblances to insinuating Senator Eugene McCarthy are uncannily reminiscent of the McCarthy era's *paranoia when mere mentions could sink a politician's career.
Well, dear reader, I hope you're actually on this blog because here is the SP chart of America for March 11, 2013:
Hour of Mars Rx (@18Lib25 in 2nd hou$e), and chart-ruler Mercury @20AQ42 is also Rx so right away we know there are delays and frustrations afoot; Neptune and NN are in karmic degrees ('fated' = reaping what was sown)...26Cancer/26Virgo, so they are sextile one another along with the 26-degree MC/IC security/domestic scene axis; the Neptune-NN midpoint opposes US natal Moon in Aquarius...Neptune-NN = Moon: enhanced intuition; lack of community spirit.
Neptune trines MC denoting that illusions, deception, fraud, and possibly inspiration or intuition are used to further career and our nation's public status.
You see SP Uranus @7Gem01 in the public 10th house which, along with US natal Uranus, has been so recently visited by transit Jupiter indicating that political, social, academic, and/or financial gains can be or have been made by those who have the opportunities afforded to them.
However, SP trickster Pan Rx and SP wealthy gold-hoarder Midas oppose one another (although in 'real time' they've been traveling in tandem for the last few years--in Gemini conjunct US natal Uranus and tr Jupiter)--and Pan Rx conjoins US SP Neptune in the 2nd house of the National Treasury. Plus, for more economic destabilization, we have the inflationary, scheming Jupiter-Neptune pair ruling the 8th house of Shared Resources, Debt/Credit, and Corporations by way of its murky Piscean cusp.
And SP Jupiter @15Can25 Rx continues to lodge upon the Pentagon's natal Ascendant making 'sequester cuts' to America's military budget difficult to have faith in (for me) though its Rx condition relates to US natal Jupiter's Rx Station of 1905--pre-WWI--when our nation's Jupiterian functions became inverted and crabbed by war, war-profiteering, high-interest loans for waging war that benefit international bankers, and an ideology that expands in spite of what befalls those haplessly encountered within its path.
IC = End of the Matter; The Drain: Ruled by Mars, Sub-Ruled by Pluto
The critical/crisis-degreed Pluto (29Cap) in 5th house of Speculation and Risk-Taking is worrisome, of course, for Underworld Pluto of The Syndicate remains as he's always been in US charts: out-of-bounds and working on his own in isolation (ex: an ivory tower, a distant vantage point.) And with US SP South Node of the Moon nearby @26Cap20, war and violence continue to be what our 'leaders' fall back on as they march our nation toward its destiny while riding the currents of public moods and opinions as befitting a Neptune-NN sextile yet managing to avoid such shifting cultural trends within their own lives, as they generally desire.
This avoidance is accomplished by subtle evasion rather than by direct confrontation and/or honesty. Try to get a direct answer to a fair question from a well-practiced politician!
Now there are many other chart factors active in America's current Secondary Progressions especially when transits and Solar Arcs are considered but I shall trust you to check things out if you wish and leave a comment with this post, if you may!

America's Progressed Full Moon in Virgo
Here you see America's Secondary Progressed Chart for Dec 24, 2008, the moment of her Progressed Full Moon (based on 'Sibly' natal chart, July 4, 1776, 5:10 pm LMT.)

Feeling the pinch: Jupiter to US chart
Economic slowdowns involve much more astrologically speaking than Jupiter's influence.
Although he prefers to bring us money, largesse, and abundance, jolly Jupiter can be something of a parsimonious culprit when making oppositions to natal planets.
Such is 2008 for America's natal chart with her Venus, Jupiter, and Sun in Cancer, one of the 'business' signs, and sign of the Home.
Beginning New Years' Day, and looking at the USA's Sibly chart (July 4, 1776, 5:10 pm LMT) we see Jupiter opposing natal Venus (money; values; relationships), natal Jupiter, and natal Sun (which is also George Bush's natal Sun, as you know.)
This ranges from 3 Cancer to 14 Cancer and illustrates a difficulty in having a triple conjunction--it extends transits to longer periods of time than if there were only one natal planet involved.
Plus, aspect patterns such as USA's Sun/Saturn square are set off simultaneously which adds complexity to the situation, but time is short this morning so I'll only give the Jupiter oppositions as a basic background of 2008.
Jupiter oppo Venus: the usual pleasures may fall flat; business and pleasure don't mix; promoted events don't live up to the hype; partnerships and joint ventures may suffer from lack of money or enthusiam esp if they're already stressful; others don't cooperate as they should (Bush in Arabia?); promises are not kept; values, perspectives, sincerity, and sense of proportion are under suspicion.
Jupiter oppo Jupiter: discontent with wealth or achievement; no one is impressed; worthwhile things are done better by someone else; overblown efforts and discouraging comparisons; taking things for granted or pushing too hard should be avoided; sources of money dry up.
Jupiter oppo Sun: situations occur that deplete resources (the entire Bush residency actually); generosity benefits the wrong people (the already rich?); those who would like to help are stymied by powerlessness; grandiose ideas don't pan out; victories won may compromise integrity and principles; pride is wounded, ego is deflated; father is cast in an unfavorable light (in Bush's case, he should be.)
2008 has other transits to consider as well, but I can't go into them now...except for one--a generational transit that's been a long time coming. So if you feel yourself succumbing, just hang in there and know that this too shall pass...
Uranus oppo Neptune: one ideology is replaced by another; loss of ideals.
Now America would be nothing without ideals, and the 'replacement' may be a good thing if we can replace the warhawkery and war profiteering ideology of Dick Cheney's 1% gang that we've been suffering under.
A higher destiny for America? How about higher actions and honesty to go along with it?
It's up to The People to do this--obviously our lying politicians have other ideals and plans which we know are dark and dreary and bring more war, not less, privation for us, more resources for them.
And remember that there are those on Wall Street who use Astrology so they've seen 2008 coming all along. Take their nuggets of wisdom with a grain of you-know-what, and most of all, don't hold back your own generosity when you get a chance to spread it around!

The White House said on Monday that the harassment of US Navy ships by Iran was "provocative" and warned Tehran against taking such actions in the future.
"We urge the Iranians to refrain from such provocative actions that could lead to a dangerous incident in the future," White House spokesman Gordon Johndroe said. [Is illegally invading and occupying a country and killing over one million civilians 'provocative?' Just curious.]

interview with Barbara Slavin on US-Iran
Barbara Slavin, senior diplomatic correspondent for USA Today since 1996 and author of the recently published book,Bitter Friends, Bosom Enemies: Iran, the U.S., and the Twisted Path to Confrontation (St. Martin's Press), writes that,
"Iran and the United States are like a once happily married couple that has gone through a bitter divorce. Harsh words have been exchanged - husband and wife have come to blows and employed others to inflict more punishment. Apologizing is hard and changing behavior even harder. This relationship is unequal, with one side or the other feeling more vulnerable at any given time and afraid the other will take advantage of concessions."
Currently, the public faces of both nations, presidents George W. Bush and Mahmoud Ahmadinejad, have been content to throw rhetorical bombs and raise the diplomatic temperature - increasing the likelihood of war. Indeed, at times it appears that conservative hardliners in both countries are eager for conflict as a means to maintain their respective grips on power.

Poppy and the Attacks of 9/11
This post is about Shrub's Poppy and the Attacks of 9/11/01 when their New World Order was given a massive boost by win-at-any-costs plutocrats. Whether by blithe arrogance, inept thoughtlessness, or cruel design, the charts tell a tale of Jupiter/Pluto increase and Mars/Uranus revolution.
Hopefully, if you're reading this, you are also visiting on-blog, for clicking-to-enlarge the image (Bush Sr natal = Inner chart with 9/11/01, 8:46 am edt, NYC round the Outside) gives more detail than a single typing finger can manage--and even though my notes are squished-in as usual, I've color-coded the important bits for your consideration.
And after toying with the idea of posting the chart for Sr's shout-out for the NWO in the US Congress (brazenly on Sept 11, 1991--yep! 10 years prior to the day) I decided that one of the main tactics of promoting the NWO--the attacks on America, 9/11/01--would be just as telling and interesting as his NWO speech. I can post that later on, if anyone wants to see it for it's always informative to progress such charts, too.
But one thing I will add about Poppy's NWO shout-out is the Prenatal Eclipse Series in which it fell. It's the same Series in which the assassination of too-close-for-comfort writer Danny Casolaro fell--killed the weekend of Aug 9/10, 1991...

Saturn in Virgo for the 2008 US election
Will the repairing of America be on the next president's agenda?
Although I've been studying the charts for the 2008 Election, I haven't prepared a post for publishing as of yet. So I keep an eye out for any articles by my esteemed colleagues who have come to a conclusion or two on the subject.
One such article from today by Philip Brown at AstroFutureTrends is Thoughts on Saturn in Virgo and the 2008 Election where Philip relates the upcoming visit of Saturn to the modest, fix-it sign of Virgo during the presidential election cycle--a definite must-read!

a squinty eye on Congress
Because astrologers much prefer to have exact times for setting up charts--whether it's for persons or events--I was happy today to find a Library of Congress website that gives bills, resolutions and their statuses, and the congressional schedule--times noted.
So often we get stuck with "approximately", or "shortly after" the hour, etc...which makes it scintillatingly challenging to use angles, planets, degrees and such to pinpoint a correct time, and all astrologers are accustomed to doing just that esp with rectification work.
Rectifying charts to a correct birth time, for example, while fascinating, is one of the more time-consumimg facets of astrology--how much easier to have the correct time in the first place.
Why no one has given me a heads-up on the existence of this marvelous resource, I don't know, but it should make my charts more accurate as far as congressional shenigans go. Feeling pretty miffed about it, but that will pass...
So...have you met 'Thomas'? Named after Thomas Jefferson, this site has search features for bills, resolutions, for what's happening on the floor NOW--why, it's stunningly helpful for using the time-focused art of astrology.
Thomas.loc.gov is great for when you need to know What, Who, How, and WHEN (it's the Why that remains highly questionable.)
Oh! And Bush signed the new and improved we're-draconian-so-that-you-don't-have-to-be "Homeland Security" bill today. Yippee.
It's more of America's increasing isolation and police state mentality on the way for John Q. Public as the USA's Secondary Progressed Mars Rx focuses inwardly on the Lunar-named "Homeland" for now more than ever their target is We The People.
Besides--Saturn's "Fatherland" was already taken.

I've been planning an article on the two "US" Eclipses you'll find mentioned there, so maybe this is as good a time as any:
Aug 21, 2017, and the Eclipse of Apr 8, 2024, both of which "slash" across America, as some say, esp the 2024 Eclipse which will be visible from Mexico to Maine and reminds me of the highway the globalists are envisioning for us (not quite the right route--but there's more.)
I confess that the possibility of earthquakes had occurred to me...fault lines, the continent separating, etc. Or how about another "Civil War"? All ughy of course, and too close for comfort.
Aug 21, 2017 (29Leo): in the 1North Series, the initial Eclipse of the Series occurred Jan 4, 1639 (14Cap.)
It tends to bring unexpected events which place stress on personal and group relationships. 1N is the Series which contains Nostradamus' King of Terror Eclipse which manifested on Aug 11, 1999. Relationship issues loom large, but making hasty decisions is unwise because info is distorted and possibly false.
Also there are issues of fatigue and/or health problems with this Series.
April 24, 2024 (19Ari): in the 8North Series, the initial Eclipse occurred May 17, 1501 (4Gem51.)
This Series tends toward inventiveness and flashes of genius, intuitive leaps, and vivid or prophetic dreams. The new-found inspiration makes having temporary freedom necessary which causes strain within personal relationships.
8N is the Pre-natal Eclipse Series of the formation/birth of al Qaeda (1988)...more on that later since al Qaeda will be having a birthday in August. My guess is that you remember how al Qaeda members--or hangers-on--were said to have had dreams of airplanes flying into buildings just prior to 9/11/01. Or so we're told.
There will be more to post concerning these Eclipses in awhile, and I'd be very interested in your opinion on the subject as well.

The above quote from Gore Vidal has inspired me to look yet again at the chart for the Jupiter (R-Party)--Saturn (D-Party) conjunction of May 28, 2000 through which the world is now slogging (Jup/Sat = 20 year cycle)--and what a pretty picture it is when the Rs and Ds coordinated yet again to bolster joint plans and make arrangements to sock it to The People.
Jupiter conj Saturn:
Using May 28, 2000, 12:02 pm edt, White House, the Great Conjunction of Jupiter (expansion principle) and Saturn (restriction principle) took place at Midheaven, the WHY? or Goal/Aspirations Point of the chart.
With MC 22Tau22, this gives three midpoint pictures to consider:
Jup/Sat = MC: thinking with grandeur; the philosopher; fluctuating success; changes; losses.
Jup/MC = Saturn: discontent; a happy change; non-utilization of opportunities; a missing of the right moment; cautious pursuit of opportunities; respect for the rules; long-lasting endeavors pay off with long-lasting rewards.
Sat/MC = Jupiter: changing fortunes; clinging to hopes or trying to look at the good side of things; simplicity; modesty (!); contentment; doing things right or how they are expected to be done; keeping things as they are or changing things to how they should be done for maximum security.
Pallas, an asteroid whose keywords include strategy, is at the Aug 11, 1999 Solar Eclipse degree of 18Leo+ (that's Nostradamus' King of Alarm Eclipse), which is also vengeful Venus' degree on the morning of 9/11/01.
Opposite Pallas is asteroid, Cupido, from which we get the word, cupidity, meaning, desire for wealth. Asteroid, Cupido also relates to the community or family groups (which would include the Syndicate and the mafia.)

Sigma: keyphrases: good judgement, moral sanity leading to moderation, temperance, and self-control; restraint. 'Sigma' stands for Greek goddess, Sophrosyne, and is of philosophical significance (as are the Jupiter-Saturn combo.)
Wonder what happened there? Moral sanity and moderation were their Goals? Puh! More like their goals to destroy.
Perhaps the addition of this particular and difficult 2nd asteroid understandably complicates the picture for everyone...so that it's more like:
Nemesis: keyphrases: to give what is due; one who brings justice or revenge; a source of harm or ruin; a fatal divinity; retributive justice in its outcome or execution; an inescapable punishment for human presumption; an unbeatable opponent (Bush's 'election'? al Qaeda's rise? Why, for days, weeks, and egad! even months afterward, TV commercials changed and became more 'sensitive' and less 'greed-infused' but it seems obvious that this momentum has slowed to a crawl. We're up to our old ways as if the dart had never pierced the heart of this nation (a 'butterfly' flitting about to the next new thing.)
And so I pray for America to find a better road in a better way--and I'm sending a heartfelt shout-out to all who love her rather than use her cynically for their own interests. You know who you are.
And although I don't idolize JFK, it does seem that he cared more for this nation than those who currently infest the White House (and most of the varmints serving (themselves) on Capitol Hill. Of course, my liberal slant may be to blame...call me a people person, if you will...it's all right by me.
NPR announced today that Karl Rove has been subpoenaed so let's see what good another apparently toothless subpoena will do, shall we, as the drama continues to unfold...matinee discounts available.

WASHINGTON DC - WEDNESDAY, MAY 23, 2007 - At approximately 11:00 a.m. today, Congressman Dennis Kucinich will invoke a rarely used procedure to offer a privileged motion claiming one hour of time to speak on the floor of the House of Representatives about current legislative plans to privatize Iraq's oil. This will be the first time in Congress that there has been a full discussion of the covert efforts to accomplish privatization of Iraq's oil through the supplemental spending bill. As with all House sessions, this speech will be televised on C-Span.
