Congress reconvenes Sep 4, 2007

After their summer break and in spite of all the People can do, Congress reconvenes Tuesday, September 4, as I've been warned. And thus the infestation continues.

There are 'poisons' in the air, quarrels in the wings, and a thousand other things-- and of course, Tuesday's chart represents the entire week, while we Sheeple admire or deride the performances which our congressional actors and other governmental thespians shall deliver.

Oh! and al-Qaeda and others are watching, too.

Yes, my peepers were put on and a stealthier-than-usual peek was taken at the transit charts for Tuesday over the Capitol Building--for sunrise and for 9:00 am EDT. It is stealthier because of the methods employed bwo composite (blended or averaged) charts done with Tuesday + the R's and the D's natal charts respectively.

Now we're all feeling a sense of foreboding esp with the Sep 11 Solar Eclipse in Virgo, but this entry must be completed later...and today IS a holiday of sorts here in America, after all!


Back now after a household catasprophe--can't stay long, but first here are a few notes on Tuesday's transits to the natal chart of the Republican Party:


Mercury 28Vir28 conj n Mars: information received motivates or inspires action; giving or receiving instructions; a pressing need or urge to travel; sales and business may involve: sports, vehicles, communications or computers, military matters esp equipment, education, or haircuts. Yep--haircuts.

Jupiter 11Sag09 (conj the Pluto/Chiron conj degree of Dec 30, 1999) has lately Stationed Direct upon the R-Party's ASC 9Sag47. This also conjuncts the warring Fixed Star, Antares, keywords: obsessed with success. Jupiter to ASC is a time when grand jestures are made in order to impress, and people may have or get the idea that there's higher status or importance than is the case.

Greed or self-indulgence leads to negative outcomes now--just ask the not-gay bathroom guy. (Please tip your attendant.)

Then there's the long-time-coming tr Uranus to n Neptune 15Pis53. This has been in effect ever since Uranus got to the mid-degrees of Pisces---longer than I'd care to remember. And Ura/Neptune, as you know, is the New World Order pair of 1992-93 when their Great Conjunction took place: "18Cap"...smug or string-armed paternalism.

Uranus to n Neptune upsets the status quo with an increased need to fulfill ideals and spiritual aspirations--yet individuals have little if any personal control. Freedom of expression disappears, and others make decisions which the Collective will regret.

A Uranus-Neptune period was between 1934 to 1949 when demented ideals were touted in Germany as personal freedom and equality were mocked and trampled upon with tragic results. A style of this fascism is being seen again since their hook-up in 1992-93...we're in the thick of it now, m'peops, and it's being spread by elitist globalist types who think chaos is just dandy and "worth it" along with their syndicate minions to do much of their dirty work.

They do what they like as long as they have their *sidedoor to slip out of...their loophole or secret trapdoor, their state-of-the-art escape hatch.


And yet the Davison Composite (C/Dav) chart blending Tuesday's transits + the Dem Party itself shows an obsessive-compulsive quindecile aspect between Uranus and Neptune.

Uranus QD Neptune: idealism influences rebellion; disruption of idealism and/or unity; deceit disrupts the status quo (there's that status quo again); there can be heightened idealism and compassion, and unification through innovative ideas and insights.

Two more QDs are in evidence.

Mercury QD Pluto: manipulation and cunning by using communication and information; domination of discussions; perceptions are transformed through communication of powerful ideas.

Saturn QD Pluto: old systems self-destruct; societal leaders use force, manipulation, and ocntrol which transforms rigid structures; alternately, authority may be influenced by mass consciousness.

Are there any QDS in the C/Dav chart of the Republicans? you ask.

Mars QD Saturn: aggressively and ruthlessly driven toward goals, ambitions, and achievements; physical limits are pushed to prove oneself---wookaholism; clashes with authority.

Mars QD MC: sreps on others to get ahead in career; driven by the need to reach the top; passionate and confident.

Neptune QD MC: illusion and deception used within career; has idealized perceptions about who one is in the world; intuitive and insightful; can play a role in spiritual arenas (The Quindecile, Ricki Reeves.)

As you see in the charts, the D-Party has more going on in the top hemisphere--more on display for the public, one supposes. They also have more midpoints in the C/Dav chart than the Rs do. Look for provocative behavior, plus some surprises and innovations put forth this week in Washington.

America could sure use improved behavior on Capitol Hill and in the White House. Thankfully, Bush is off the continent so once again I ask: can't the locks be changed?

And one more thing about Tuesday--around 4:00 pm edt, Moon catches up to Mars at the Venus Transit degree of June 2004 (the Sea Island, GA G-8 Summit...

a few astro-notes on Barack Obama

In answer to a reader's query, no! I have not done a full post on the natal chart of Barack Obama. Without a birth time it didn't seem prudent. If I find an accurate time for him I would be pleased to expand.

But here are the few notes done so far on his possible Sun-Moon blend/s depending on which of two signs the Moon was in during the 24 hours of his birth date.

The Great Equalizer = 24 hours in a day. That's all anyone has no matter how 'they' fiddle with time zones or monkey with calendars!

Jupiter conjunct Saturn, May 2000

The above quote from Gore Vidal has inspired me to look yet again at the chart for the Jupiter (R-Party)--Saturn (D-Party) conjunction of May 28, 2000 through which the world is now slogging (Jup/Sat = 20 year cycle)--and what a pretty picture it is when the Rs and Ds coordinated yet again to bolster joint plans and make arrangements to sock it to The People.

Jupiter conj Saturn:

Using May 28, 2000, 12:02 pm edt, White House, the Great Conjunction of Jupiter (expansion principle) and Saturn (restriction principle) took place at Midheaven, the WHY? or Goal/Aspirations Point of the chart.

With MC 22Tau22, this gives three midpoint pictures to consider:

Jup/Sat = MC: thinking with grandeur; the philosopher; fluctuating success; changes; losses.

Jup/MC = Saturn: discontent; a happy change; non-utilization of opportunities; a missing of the right moment; cautious pursuit of opportunities; respect for the rules; long-lasting endeavors pay off with long-lasting rewards.

Sat/MC = Jupiter: changing fortunes; clinging to hopes or trying to look at the good side of things; simplicity; modesty (!); contentment; doing things right or how they are expected to be done; keeping things as they are or changing things to how they should be done for maximum security.

Pallas, an asteroid whose keywords include strategy, is at the Aug 11, 1999 Solar Eclipse degree of 18Leo+ (that's Nostradamus' King of Alarm Eclipse), which is also vengeful Venus' degree on the morning of 9/11/01.

Opposite Pallas is asteroid, Cupido, from which we get the word, cupidity, meaning, desire for wealth. Asteroid, Cupido also relates to the community or family groups (which would include the Syndicate and the mafia.)

The chart's 8th cusp (money of others, debt, insurance, legacies, credit, transformations; death; the occult/"hidden") has secretive, obfuscating, dissolving Pisces upon it (using Placidus House system which I tend to stick with unless looking at charts from centuries ago--then Regiomantanus--that's just how I roll.)

Within 8th house we see the Moon (The People; the public; publicity; changes and fluctuations) at 3Aries14. Whenever I see an Aries Moon, I always think of terror-promoter Robespierre and his love of saying, I AM the people.

But back to the 2000 conjunction--and here's where it gets really icky...

Also at MC (Goals; Aspirations; WHY?) with Jupiter and Saturn are two asteroids of archetypal importance esp when you consider what's go on since 2000.

Sigma: keyphrases: good judgement, moral sanity leading to moderation, temperance, and self-control; restraint. 'Sigma' stands for Greek goddess, Sophrosyne, and is of philosophical significance (as are the Jupiter-Saturn combo.)

Wonder what happened there? Moral sanity and moderation were their Goals? Puh! More like their goals to destroy.

Perhaps the addition of this particular and difficult 2nd asteroid understandably complicates the picture for everyone...so that it's more like:

Nemesis: keyphrases: to give what is due; one who brings justice or revenge; a source of harm or ruin; a fatal divinity; retributive justice in its outcome or execution; an inescapable punishment for human presumption; an unbeatable opponent (Bush's 'election'? al Qaeda's rise? Jupiter conjuncted Saturn for al Qaeda, too.)

So this is what the 'New Millennium' has brought us so far, in good part thanks to our illusory, deceptive "two-party system" which royally s*cks. And they have the audacity and presumption to call themselves the elite !

Stewardship - or major pocket-lining?

Either way, fear-mongering and terror-touting are the order of the day while the Rs and Ds still rule the roost ad nauseum...and final dispositor Mercury in the 2000 Conjunction chart is at "28Gemini", the "Bankruptcy" degree...and all sides are proving masterfully that they know exactly how to bankrupt America.

$93 billion for Iraq and Afghanistan--until Sep 30 (that's 4 short months) vs a 70- cent-per-hour increase for working Americans who are struggling to keep food in their children's tummies and a roof over their heads. God help them if they should get a tummy ache from inferior food which the FDA--also tax-payer funded--lets through so their pals and relatives can make more moola bwo outsourcing ingredients to the cheapest bidder.

Esp since their local Emergency Room (assuming it hasn't been closed down) is overflowing.

Bush Offers Dems Conciliatory Words

Looking at the chart for Bush's words with the Democrats who are huddled in Williamsburg VA today, are Bush's words all they seem?

Mercury = communications; thinking...in what condition is Mercury today? In fuzzy, dissembling Pisces...Mercury 1Pis50 is applying to opposition with the Moon 00Vir44 at 11:00 am, the approximate time he addressed his Dem critics.

It's an hour of Venus (positioned at 8Pis07) and Mercury will conjunct chart-ruler Venus.

This may describe the warm fuzzy agreement Speaker Pelosi expressed after their snuggle. I hope she was being just as fake as he was!

Rising is Taurus, sign of money, possesssions, stubbornness, and sometimes of intolerance.

Mercury opposite Moon is similar to their square--rationalizations of actions and sentiments.
Their opposition is given by astrologer Alan Oken as Communications vs Feelings and brings challenges to be true to oneself regarding personal relationships.

It indicates one who tends to alter facts to suit the mood and talks too much while saying too little...Bush said that he welcomes debate in a time of war--really? Tell Joe Wilson that.

In private Bush told the Dems that the war is "sapping our soul"...but we know Bush's soul was sapped long ago, so he must be talking about the rest of us.

His worry is, as you know, the financial windfall for the war which the Dems may now control and limit--and which is the American people's only hope that sanity may be regained in bankrupted Washington.

US Congress Solar Return 2006

Seems like just yesterday baby Congress was toddling around in her underpants with the ruffles on the back, but, no...it's been 206 years, and she's looking a little gray around the muzzle, isn't she?

I'll only mention a few things tonight and must amend on Friday afternoon or Saturday evening at the latest due to sleepiness. My bad typery is made much worse by yawning, you see.

Solar Return Nov 17, 2006 Friday:

First we look at which natal house is rising in the Solar Return chart (SR) for it will be the primary focus or influence of the year (until Nov '07.)

This would be natal (n) 9th House of philosophy, moral values, expansive self-knowledge, social conduct, religion, eternal truths, long-distance travel, and the Supreme Court.

Jupiter, as chart-ruler and as natural ruler of the 9th House, has an important position for Congress' year, and is found in 12th House of the Unconscious, Self-Undoing, Karma, and large institutions, and is squaring Saturn (in Leo) in the 8th House of debt, credit, shared resources, taxes, insurance, transformation, and death.

Both the 8th and the 12th are Psychological Houses (intuitive) and with the current line-up of planets in Scorpio, and the Saturnian Scythe now forming, we may expect some winnowing in the finacial department (past due!)..and perhaps more winnowing of our leaders and of world leaders. (Tr Saturn is still within orb of his conjunction with Bush's n Venus--he's not feelin' the love, people, so I shudder to think of how he'll be received abroad in his weakened state. Will the trade deal be passed by Congress to make benefit for Vietman? Not so far.)

Being so near the karmic 12th cusp, Jupiter--ruler of money, expansion, increase, philosophy, and curiosity--has much work to do this year--a very critical period is afoot as is indicated by many other factors. Yet Jupiter prefers the camel's back for he can be on the self-indulgent side, as you know.

Nearby the Sun at 25Sco04 is conjunct Republican Party's n Moon 25Sco04 in n 2nd House, another money/values House.

With the Sun at 25Sco05, it is the Solar Un-birthday for the Democratic Party--when the Sun is halfway from one's birthday--a time for measuring on'es progress for the year and change course if needed.

But it is not a time for success with ego-related activities and there are sure to be authority issues with decided need to avoid arrogance or aggressive attitudes toward others. Humility works best, and I believe we've been seeing this attitude among many of the Dem puppies--faked or real.

So you see that it's Repub's Moon AND transit Sun opposite Dem's natal Sun...lots of activity behind the scenes with Jupiter and Venus, at the "Grand Army of the Republic campfire" degree--both in the behind-the-scenes 12th.

Another interesting thing I must mention (for the sandman is calling my name) is that the transiting midpoint between the Pluto/Chiron pair--the corporatism; oppression; racism; PLUTOCRACY duo, is conjunct--ready? US Congress' natal Pluto/Chiron, all piled up at 15Cap+.

My hope is naturally that these issues with be dealt with honestly this year rather than the can being kicked down the road ad nauseum...and with transformative Pluto rising and simultaneously squaring the natal Mars of the Republican Party, we'll be seeing many confrontations between the reps and perps.

Although the Jupiter/Saturn square is now waning, it is still affecting relations between the Parties--Jupiter = Rs, Saturn = Ds. (This square was last perfected, Oct 25.) And the tr Pluto SQ n Mars is a time of obstacles for the Rs, and a time when dishonest actions must be corrected, not continued.

Ethics, anyone?

UPDATE Saturday 11.18: Okay, here's the Rudhyar version for "18 Libra" the Moon position mentioned above:

A Solar Return Moon in Libra indicates that balance and the correcting of them will be in focus, plus you know that Libra relates to WAR. Relationships bewtween memebrs of Congress and Seante are highlighted, war issues, immigration, and with the SR Moon in 10th house of the Return, much publicity is to be expected.

With Barbara Boxer and other Dems promoting (Moon) the idea that the Dem "controlled" Congress will be focusing on the people's business (Moon = the people), we should hear many mentions of this novel idea.

And with the Moon always signifying changes, perhaps we'll actually see some of the positive variety--although it will be a hard slog.

Perhaps you've heard of the G-20 protests in Australia this weekend with heads being knocked and arrests made. The World Bank, the IMF, and financial officials from 20 nations are under fire from the populace...and apparently that's what it's going to take, m'peops! And some men have been placed under arrest as the individual and society clash once again.
