Winter Solstice 2011: Sun SQ Uranus, Pluto oppo US natal Jupiter

Before Winter Solstice on Thursday December 22, 2011, when the Sun reaches 00 degrees Capricorn, ancient sign of The Mer Goat, there occurs a Lunar Eclipse on December 10, 2011 @ 18Gem11 (horoscope shown.)

By December 22, the Moon will be in Scorpio and approaching its Inaugural 2009 crisis degree of 29Sco45--our financial troubles continue. Here you see the Winter Solstice Moon in 2nd house in the chart set for the White House (fluctuations in finances), and with the Jupiter/Saturn opposition poised upon the 2/8 money axis, we may expect Capitol Hill's ideology-driven expansion v restriction/generosity v austerity arguments to continue during winter season 2011/2012 as certain entities work to dismantle America, and politicians pretend they're unaware of this long term, traitorous project.

As you see (click chart to enlarge), the November 25, 2011 Solar Eclipse @ 2Sag25 sits upon Winter Solstice 2011's 3rd cusp of Communications in DC--this 'peculiar turn of events' eclipse timed the 'Super Committee' which "failed" as most people expected it would. Personally, I think it did what the powers-that-be wanted it to do but that topic is beyond the scope of this post but one reason I say this is that setting up a 'Super Congress' undermined the US Congress and its oversight function.

Stumbling Beyond December 16, 2011

Between December 10 and 22, lies December 16, 2011, when another Capitol Hill government shutdown reality show potentially looms for public appreciation (and meant to weaken the US government further.)

Then today, President Obama speaks in Kansas in an attempt to echo a famous and important speech delivered by Teddy Roosevelt. But as you know, present presidents courting comparisons with past presidents is always an iffy political risk!



Horoscope shown: Winter Solstice December 22, 2011 12:30 am est White House, Washington DC; it's an Hour of feisty Mars at crisis degree (17Vir) and working busily in the 12th house of Politics, Karma, Self-Undoing, and Large Institutions.

This may describe President Obama's health care legislation (Virgo) as a continuing target of his martian opponents on either side of the aisle.

No planets are out-of-bounds so all actors (planets) are on the earthly plane and participating in their various ways; it's a Balsamic phase of the Moon (326:01) when things can go bump in the night and often do. It's possible that a hidden Mars in 12th H is up to no good in the house of Politics.

However, Mercury makes no aspects at all to any planets in the chart so its position in one of its natural houses (3rd) emphasizes mercurial pursuits such as messages, speeches, and transport, along with its sign placement--here, in Detriment in expansive, broad-viewing Sagittarius. Hopefully, our soldiers will return from abroad as safely as possible.

The presence of America's natal Saturn 14Lib48 and Neptune 22Vir25 (conjunct President Obama's natal Mars) snugged around the Solstice 2011 ASC gives a midpoint picture of some concern: Sat/Nep = ASC: limitation of freedom; oppressive circumstances; depression.

Chart-ruler Venus 1AQ48 is in 4th H (Real Estate; the Homeland; Environment; 4/10 is the Security/Career axis) conjunct Fixed Star Altair (the Eagle--the Sun rises with Altair at this time of year) and near US Inaugural Sun 00AQ+--the president.

The midpoint of the Robber Baron planets, Neptune and Pluto, conjoins and veils Venus and the president along with the plutocrats' midpoint, Pluto/Chiron @ 4AQ14. Venus rules 1st H and 8th H of Shared Resources, Debt, Credit, and Taxes, and rules Jupiter Rx, here at a degree of violence--Hitler's 'trigger degree' (his natal Sun.)

Then Jupiter's Direct Station occurs on Christmas Day 2011...will holiday consumer sales pull a large enough rabbit out of America's financial hat?

For a clue about how things will proceed in America from Winter Solstice 2011, we look to any applying aspects of chart-ruler Venus:

1. Venus sesquisquare Mars (0A34; 135 degr, a complex, interlaced square--octile = 8) indicates intense, dynamic interaction between them--between the White House and activist Mars, frustrated in Virgo, and active in the Behind-the-Scenes 12th H.

On one level, the Pentagon and US military are described here by warring Mars in the house of Large Institutions; protesters such as those in the Occupy DC movement may also be denoted and show the complex relationship between the democratic forces of the 99% Movement and the president's political considerations and limitations; secret enemies are also indicated by a 12th H Mars; along with equipment breakdowns.

The Venus/Mars aspect shows that concessions are expected by and from both sides and clever tactics will be used to have one's way; provocation in order to blame others for problems will continue to be part of the tiresome Capitol Hill Theater presentations which supposedly pass for congressional action these days. Simultaneoulsy, America's fabled invisible/secret government is rising (US Sat/Nep = ASC; Saturn = government; Neptune = secret/invisible.)

2. The only other applying aspect made by Venus is a trine (2A57) to the Ascendant 4Lib45 which shows harmony between Venus (and the president) with our secret government entities (US Saturn/Neptune = ASC.)

Plus, wealthy Pluto 6Cap58, planet of secret manipulation, sabotage, foreign bankers and cabalists is at the Foundation of the Solstice 2011 horoscope--it's the closest planet to an angle, in fact, and thus prominent. Pluto's transformation and destructuring of our country continues to undergird the basic problems we face with Mars and Pluto ruling 2nd H of Values and Earning Ability bwo Scorpio on 2nd cusp; the plutonian EU debt crisis affects America's bottom line (4th H) and the world's hopes for recovery.

(This Pluto action opposing US natal Jupiter 5Can56--here, at MC--may indicate a cutting of war costs but so far I've not taken seriously the proposed scaling back of US war expenses by war profiteers who control our government from the Pentagon but are puppeteered from central banks such as the Bank of England. It puts the stand-off between transiting Pluto in Capricorn on display at MC through US natal Jupiter with its power struggle indications and lack of financial progress as bossy 'Mr. Hades', god of the Underworld of Crime stands in the way of our financial success.)


What's Rising in First House? And Where Is Fraudulent Neptune?

Saturn in 1st H (plus, US natal Saturn rising) shows limiting, inhibiting conditions and many delays with a potential for losses; since Saturn here is ruled by Venus, issues of deflation/inflation/stagnation are on our 2011/2012 menu. Plus, as you see, nebulous Neptune remains within orb of US natal Moon with its sense of rootlessness, foreclosure and homeless conditions, and Fraud to The People. Floods, other natural disasters, and water-gas-oil-related matters remain potentials as well.

(Note: Saturn's link to loss is karmic but is only for gains that were garnered through fraudulent means or too-easy efforts such as lucky Jupiter usually brings. Those who honor Saturn's lessons of responsible actions, accountability, honesty, conservation, and caution are usually spared the worst of Saturn's restrictions.)

However, in spite of it all, the star of our Solstice Show, Sun 00Cap00:00, trines fortunate Jupiter, an aspect which may aid matters since such enthusiasm, optimism, and confidence can lead to breakthroughs of good fortune. And everyone knows that the NYSE depends on confidence! However, a Sun/Jupiter trine doesn't seek challenges and may even be lazy yet this energy can provide a boost to those who do seek or work with challenges and may harmoniously improve relationships--and the 1st house Saturn, exalted and strong in Libra, may provide strength for this easy (lazy!) aspect to manifest improvements especially in the action-oriented Cardinal signs of Capricorn and Taurus.

Interestingly, a more wavering Water Sun/Jupiter trine appears in the natal horoscope of 2012 Republican candidate Mitt Romney (Scorpio/Pisces.) Here's what I previously wrote about this don't-challenge-me aspect in Romney's natal chart:

"Wealth indicator, the Sun/Jupiter trine, helps with public relations as well for optimism always 'sells' in America yet the aspect indicates a certain apathy with a desire for only moderate demands to be made upon his time and freedom. Can a White House schedule provide him this?"

Uranus square Pluto's Upheaval Potential Upped by Sun/Uranus

Obviously, the energies of the Sun/Uranus square at Cardinal Points of world manifestation tell a tale of self-willedness, eccentricity, authority issues, and perhaps unprincipled behavior; plus, a strong desire for power is noted--and a Sun/Uranus square is also found in the natal horoscope of Mitt Romney!

Dynamic Planetary Patterns

A major T-Square is set up between societal planets Jupiter and Saturn which points to evaluating Venus (and the presidential Sun) which creates the following midpoint pictures--all, any, or none of these potentials may apply:

Jupiter/Saturn = Venus: discontent; a lack of endurance or tenaciousness (an accusation already heard concerning Obama's lackadaisical 'advocacy' on behalf of America's Middle and Working classes--jc); changing fortunes; a touch of reserve (the Fed? jc); jealousy due to social recognition given to others. Now who do we know that could be jealous of a Democratic presidency? ;p


A second T-Square is visible between Pluto @ IC, MC (conj US n Jupiter), and ASC:

Pluto/MC = ASC: procuring an important position of recognition no matter the conditions; a person of fame.

Substitute US n Jupiter for MC and we have Big Banking boiling on the hob:

Jupiter/Pluto = ASC: far-sightedness; prudence (in DC?!! jc); organizing talent; a desire for power; personal advancement; focusing on how to use and discard other people; added self-importance; ego definition; reading the intentions of others especially if they seek power.

Well, I for one, am an American who does not 'seek power' so if politicians want to 'read my intentions' they have only to consider that America is my only nag in the race--a race that many actors in Washington are determined to handicap until our nation, government, and social safety net are dismantled and we cry out in unison for a 'New World Order' of totalitarianism and feudalism.

The last planetary pattern is a 'Grand Cross' marked by dotted lines--I've placed it in brackets because it only contains two planets with two chart angles at which to manifest--between Sun, Uranus, ASC, and MC. Even if we don't wish to call this a Grand Cross, the pattern sets up several midpoint pictures with which I shall close this post:

Sun/MC = Uranus: revolutionaries, rebels, anarchists; a sudden change of objectives; inner conflicts; on-the-job training.

Pluto/MC = Uranus: indefatigability; endurance; a sudden attainment of aims with irresistible power; unexpected occupational changes (Occupiers? jc)

Sun/MC = ASC: increased need for honesty about how to help the lives of others; associations.

Sun/US n Jupiter = Uranus: speculation; gambling; a sudden turn or success.

Sun/US n Jupiter = ASC: devotion to social aspirations; shared success; meetings.

And the transiting midpoint of Jupiter and Neptune (speculators, wastrels, grand schemers), the planetary duo describing the Obama administration due to their Great Conjunctions all through 2009 which conjoined US natal Moon in Aquarius--continues to point to Uranus at Aries Point ('Utopians'--Ebertin) so I'll add the mdpt picture one more time...

Jupiter/Neptune = Uranus: imagination v reality; sudden recognition of a difficult situation; coming down to earth with a bump.

And that bump may occur during the Moon's darkened Balsamic phase here denoted in the Horoscope of Winter Solstice 2011. Considering the rampant fraud in Washington DC, on Wall Street, and elsewhere, can new scandals and leaks be very far behind?

John Adams defines Revolution; America's Saturn/Neptune Revisited

Wall Street Tyranny, Revolution Defined, Saturn/Neptune, and a Sabian Symbol for the Ages

From perpetual wars of imperialism to Wall Street bankers and global elites crashing the US economy, the 'New Millennium' has brought not the so-called "New Age" of skipping about with flowers in our hair, but dire conditions and chaos purposefully created by what seems to be a select few of unelected, ivory towered holier-than-thous signified in mundane astrology charts by Pluto.

And when combined with other planets, the branches of plutonians are even more closely described and identified--ex: Jupiter/Pluto = the Fed, the World Bank or bankers, the IMF, the WTO, those who mount large scale projects--even as the Vatican (Pluto = the pope; Jupiter = the hierophant, priest) and other bigwig religious 'leaders' who skulk the halls of earthly power.

Now if you've read Stars Over Washington before, you know that I often fuss about plutonian topics while posting articles, videos, and horoscopes blended with my own personal comments and analyses on Politics, Washington DC, corruption, the US Congress, esoteric subjects (ex: Max Igan videos), Astrology, Freemason/Illuminati info, and other topics that interest or annoy me--all on behalf of my country, America--a nation whose sovereignty I'd prefer to see continued, thanks. (My former residence of Washington DC and the perfidies of the US Congress and White Lodge--er, House, notwithstanding.)

Well, it is my blog, right? And no other writers lounge about SO'W unless noted with credit for their work.

So today I'm feeling Adams-y/Jefferson-y, even though they were Freemasons, which was the organization to join in their day if you wanted to get ahead in life and business. Actually, it's much the same in 2011, isn't it? Perhaps the worm entered the American apple when Weishaupt's Illuminati gained a hoof-hold with Jefferson, Paine, and others, and Rosicrucianism (Franklin, and probably Jefferson) blended into the secretive government mix as well from our nation's earliest days. Infiltration is the Illuminati's middle name--and the CFR has used infiltration of government institutions as a tactic since the secretive organization's inception, as have others of a similar take-over persuasion.


There May Be Clues in America's Natal Horoscope

US natal Saturn (14Lib48) = government; US natal Neptune (22Vir25) = hidden, secret, invisible. On July 4, 1776, the two planets were a mere 22 degrees 23 minutes apart, though the Founders were assumed to be unaware of Neptune's existence. Now that has always fascinated me since we as astrologers can glean things about the US horoscope which they (astrologers as they were) could not have known we would know...same with Pluto, though revolutionary, disruptive Uranus, so linked to America's principles and behavior, was discovered in their time--in 1781, between the American and the French Revolutions, and describing both.

And if we use the Sibly version of the US chart (July 4, 1776 5:10 pm LMT Philadelphia, PA), we find that its Midheaven (Goal; Aspiration; Public Standing or Status) = 00Lib53--a mere 3 degrees 36 minutes from our natal Saturn/Neptune midpoint. This suggests (to my sleuthing, conspiratorial mind) that 3 years 5 or 6 months after July 4, 1776, a goal (MC) was effected concerning an invisible, hidden, or secret government (Saturn/Neptune)--was a satanic Illuminati hoof-hold gained?

This takes us to December 1779-- January 1780 and is worth a look into historical events during that time period--though machinations of secret societies will not be found in history written by The Establishment (Saturn!) A book such as Nicholas Hagger's The Secret History of the West is a better source and it is extensively researched, plus, you may know of other books or websites that reveal more than the usual line on American history. Funny how the usual sources tend to totally leave out which secret society influenced whom and instigated which event!

In case you're wondering, the midpoint picture created in progressions during that time frame by America's 9th house Neptune and 10th house Saturn is:

Saturn/Neptune = MC: wavering between materialistic and idealistic inclinations; a peculiar character (or characters); losing courage quickly; emotional suffering. (Ebertin.) (Other midpoint sources reveal more, of course, but I don't have them with me today and won't until next week.) As always, any, all, or none may apply.

Yes, the combo of Saturn/Neptune may bring loss and grief and unfortunately, we don't have to look far afield to find that in 2011, do we? Especially since transiting Saturn brought 'grim reality' to US natal Neptune a year or so ago--with a simultaneous transit of dissolving Neptune to US natal Moon (we-the-people) which is still within orb in late Aquarius, and brought home foreclosures, refugeeism, unstable social conditions, fraud, loss, and grand schemes that seldom if ever pan out.

Quite a double blow to the people's hopes and dreams of beneficial change a la the Obama administration! Maybe that's part of why the GOP ran an old man and a wild woman against him--they wanted to sit out these transits! And one astrologer on the Republican payroll would have easily seen both transits coming from several decades away. (That's the venerable art and science of Astrology--bringing to the table the element of Time which no other system for analysis can.)


Now here's a quote from our 3rd president, Thomas Jefferson, which in 2011 may be applied to the steady drip drip of many decades if not centuries as certain groups attempt to overthrow democracy and collapse America (financially, politically, and socially) so that 'global government' (another indication of Saturn/Neptune involvement since staid Saturn must rule, and secretive Neptune must merge) may be finally implemented according to a totalitarian template as promoted by satanists like Adam Weishaupt whose Illuminati symbols decorate America's Great Seal and paper currency:

"Single acts of tyranny may be ascribed to the accidental opinion of the day; but a series of oppressions, begun at a distinguished period, and pursued unalterably through every change of ministers (administrators) too plainly proves a deliberate, systematic plan of reducing us to slavery." -Thomas Jefferson

And concerning the current societal topic in the news of "is it time for revolution in America?", here is a brief, familiar excerpt from one of the letters sent from John Adams to Thomas Jefferson, dated August 24, 1815 (yet we know that the two Founders were well aware that posterity would read their sentiments--after years of not speaking, the letters gave them a chance to re-envision their past actions and justify their original intentions! Some say that Adams was against Illuminati influence in America, while Jefferson was for it which may have been at the base of the break in their earlier friendship):

"What do we mean by Revolution? The war? That was no part of the revolution; it was only an effect and consequence of it. The revolution was in the minds of the people, and this was effected from 1760--1775, in the course of fifteen years, before a drop of blood was shed at Lexington."


Now 2012 Cometh

Is it possible that The Awakening of 2012, if indeed it occurs, relates to a similar "revolution in the minds of the people"? Well, astrologers have been tracking the ongoing Cardinal Grand Cross of planets which began in Spring 2010 with its generational squares between Saturn/Pluto, and Uranus/Pluto, for example, with both combinations bringing frustration, hardship, cruelty, and revolt across the face of the planet--and now in America (ex: Occupy Wall Street protests in NYC and elsewhere.)

Then there is a Sabian Symbol that obviously applies to our topic: '30 Cancer' = "A Daughter of the American Revolution" which Dane Rudhyar explains as:

"Keynote: The prestige and conservatism of a long-maintained heritage.

Here we have a symbol of the proud preservation of socio-cultural values in tradition. After several generations the ancestor who was perhaps a violent revolutionist or rabble-rouser--or even a fugitive from justice--acquires a halo of respectability. fThe tradition that once was born of revolution now extols "law and order", attempting to suppress any new forms of the revolutionary spirit."

(This symbol refers) "...mainly to the consolidation and concretization of life urges within a stable form of organization. In many instances the scenes presented picture social activities or events, yet at this stage it is the individual person and the problems attendant upon his development that are primarily considered."

('30Can' is) "...an example of what occurs when the individual chooses a path which totally embodies and glorifies tradition, a past which ends in a GLORIFICATION OF THE PAST."

Might it be possible to gage a time frame in which another of what John Adams described as a "revolution in the minds of the people" might have begun?

Well, if I had to hazard an astrological guess, an obvious choice of time frames would have to be the Solar Eclipse of July 22, 2009 @ a critical-crisis degree of 29Can27--rounded up, it's the DAR degree of '30 Cancer'. This points to the extreme opposition of the GOP and the Tea Party (and their secretive backers) to the presidency and person of Barack Obama which is ongoing, and if anything, more virulent as his term goes on.

John Adams A-Rollin' in His Grave

No, the 'mental revolution' and physical revolts are not only for opposing President Obama (the black fellow inhabiting the White House) as evidenced by the Occupy Wall Street protests of 2011 and push backs against austerity measures in Wisconsin and elsewhere--with more revolts to come. For the July 2009 eclipse (11 South Saros Series) is the "systems fail, new methods are needed" eclipse which was part of the bankster-induced financial crisis as the president instituted initiatives to "reform" Wall Street which kinda-sorta helped Main Street but has done little to create jobs for we-the-people.

For jobs creation, Mr. Obama's initiatives need the financial and corporate industries to cooperate with the program in a communal spirit but as we've seen, they're not about to do that unless and until they are made to pay taxes to help support this nation. And most corporations don't seem at all interested in preserving American traditions, do they?

What is Democratic Socialism?

As I meandered around the Web this morning while watching the US-China PR mummery at the White House being shown on C-SPAN, I ran across Senator Bernie Sanders' recent remarks on how Social Security benefits have nothing to do with the US deficit.

Amen.

Then I ran across a pdf that explains how Sen. Sanders labels himself: a Democratic Socialist.

The whole warm-fuzzy political theater now on display in Washington is designed to soothe the American peoples' fears over China, the place US jobs have gravitated toward since the presidency of Ronald Reagan. Richard Nixon opened the door (as Teddy Roosevelt had pined for at the turn of the 20th century), Reagan strutted in, and we-the-people have been paying with our livelihoods and our national sovereignty ever since.

Meanwhile, other US presidents have continued the globalists' sell-out agenda (Clinton's NAFTA, CAFTA, and the illusion of 'free trade') until the US looks more like a 3rd world country every day while the Chinese people work hard for the money and dream of better lives. Now this is what Politics can do for global populations: build up, tear down, tinker with people's lives - and all with the power elite's bottom line upper most in their reptilian brains.

Democratic Socialism sounds better than the glaringly bad deal we've been handed by our own government officials who may be found lurking within the US Saturn 14Lib48 and Neptune 22Vir25 pair of Communism-Socialism-Fascism-inner-and-secret-government signature which falls near US natal Midheaven in the Sibly chart:

Saturn/Neptune = Mc: use of shortened, inefficient methods when tough, dedicated, completed work is needed; taking a definitive stand on practices which lessen the quality of life; giving up and capitulating totally to the demands of the environment; peculiar loss of ambition; wavering between idealism and materialism; emotional suffering; moodiness; a peculiar character. Thesis: Delusions among the real leadership; long lived programs that have no real purpose; policies that restrict spies; misusing law officers; inefficient use of capable expert advice; mistaken religious leaders.

Antithesis: leaders deceive about the exercise of control; deficient business practices exposed; respected persons involved in questionable practices; reliable equipment failures; a leader capitulates.

As you know, the Saturn/Neptune cycle is approximately 36 years in length. Their last Great Conjunction occurred in 1989 as the Reagan presidency morphed into that of George H. W. Bush who loudly touted the New World Order:

1. March 3, 1989 @11Cap55;
2. June 24, 1989 @11Cap14;
3. November 13, 1989 @10Cap22.

As you see, these positions in Capricorn, sign of government, law, and business, have a weighty encounter within range for an important state visit: transiting Pluto.

Saturn/Neptune = Pluto: denial of guilt from responsible people; new ideas on evolution which upset long-held but weaker historical theories; punishment for those who've allowed decay and decadence to persist; tremendous awareness for potential for loss; feeling downtrodden; workers' rights campaigns.

Since Pluto moves very slowly, this transit will be particularly difficult for society and America is emphasized here due to our Cancer planets (Venus, Jupiter, and Sun 3 - 14 Cancer) in opposition to underworld god, assassin, and spymaster Pluto triggering the effects and the aftermath of Saturn/Neptune in 1989, the year that Saturn, Neptune, and Uranus conjoined for the first time since the 15th century.

Historically, the triple conjunction marked a pivotal moment and its long lasting effects will continue to play out for decades to come. Yes, 1989 saw the 'end' of the Cold War yet it's interesting how often we hear that phrase from the media and politicians today.

2011 brings us 4 Solar and 2 Lunar Eclipses

Whether offering crises or opportunities, these wild card lunations of the universe have always fascinated the collective and may influence events and outcomes even when partial or seen from only certain vantage points upon the Earth; even when 'invisible', we know they're there.

Today I'm displaying only the January 4, 2011 Solar Eclipse but basic details for the other eclipses are here included; further eclipse chart images for 2011 will be published as my blogging schedule allows.

The year 2011 contains 6 eclipses all together: 4 Solar and 2 Lunar.

Let's look at the 4 Solar Eclipses by Series themes and add a few details on the Lunar Eclipses as well since, as you know, 2011 is thought to herald difficult times and acts as chronological doorkeeper to the much-ballyhooed '2012' of Mayan Prophecy, legend, and New-Agery promise; the global power elite have played on collective fears well and see this era as implementation time for total control of the planet.

"Small naked girl" = 'the innocent and spontaneous mind, as yet unclothed in cultural patterns and unrestrained by don'ts, trying to satisfy its curiosity about what seems mysterious and fleeting. ...The key here is PURITY IN UNDERSTANDING.'

As you know, '9Can' falls amidst America's Venus, Jupiter, and Sun (3 to 14 Cancer) and is the midpoint degree of our nation's natal Sun/Venus and Sun/Jupiter combinations. Therefore...

In politics and business, Sun/Venus = using wealth available to a nation or business to sustain its image or authority; how a nation shapes the direction of its growth; the nature of reserves, resources, and the roles they play in national development; a leadership that doesn't appreciate the role that culture or art play in the development of national character; a society estranged from its leadership.

A Cancerian Solar Eclipse indicates crisis and/or opportunity in these areas.

However, the July 1, 2011 Solar Eclipse may come off as an insignificant solar eclipse for it is a tiny partial eclipse which will be visible from a small patch of ocean near Antarctica. And yet the potential for natural disasters cannot be ruled out with the influence of any eclipse, can they? And perhaps the universe is lengthening our lessons and indicating a longer period of time for teaching us.

The final Solar Eclipse of 2011 occurs on November 25, 2011 @ 2Sag37 in the difficult 14 North Series. Celeste Teal gives this one a "Blazing New Trails" label; Brady's Predictive Astrology describes the 14N Series as "most peculiar" and says it "heralds an acute time of confusion in personal relationships, unexpected happenings in financial matters, and possible illness."

More Time Links between 1074 and Our Day?

For historical perspective on the Nov 2011 Solar Eclipse, it may be instructive to consider that the 14N Series first manifested on April 29, 1074 OS @ 13Tau54, with Neptune - the veil - @ 9Gem09 Rx, where gold-hoarder Midas, the asteroid, hangs around these days.

This Neptune-Midas time link leads me to suspect that 'the veil' mentioned above in the 14N theme info, in Nov 2011, has to do with the world's wealth and resources which are close to being completely gathered in and hidden away by the global power elite who don't need more riches in order to put food on their tables, but use the illusion of money to ramp up within each of us our senses of lack, want, inferiority, and loss. With currency collapses possible, the olden days of bartering may have to return.

The 1074 eclipse degree of '13Tau54' is within one degree of our modern Inaugural Ascendants which always represent the Oath of Office of the President of the United States (Jan 20 @ noon in DC), and thus, the US presidency and whoever is playing the role at any given time.

14N's initial eclipse in the year 1074 also has Saturn @ 8Sag11 showing that the eclipse in this difficult series occurred during a Saturn/Neptune opposition phase which stimulates within the collective morbid, morose, melancholy thoughts, and a tendency toward irrational fears stemming from deep within the collective unconscious.

As you know, the antithetical Saturn/Neptune duo of energies indicates such social issues, concerns, and conditions as socialism and/or communism, where Saturn's rigidity, realism, and stability meets Neptune's dreaminess, dissolution, and fraud. Together they represent caution, pessimism, long periods of neglect, and a general lack of accountability; large social movements are also involved as authority (Saturn) is challenged (opposition) by the masses(Neptune) - and possibly authority is challenged by the media (Neptune)!

In the January 4, 2011 Solar Eclipse chart pictured above, Mercury 21Sag22 in 1st house, sits precisely upon the Saturn/Neptune midpoint... so we have: 'pessimism; a difficult grasp of things; strangely nervous' to begin 2011 - and the difficult 14 North Series to end the year. As you know, '9Can' falls amidst America's Venus, Jupiter, and Sun (3 to 14 Cancer) and is the midpoint degree of our nation's natal Sun/Venus and Sun/Jupiter combinations. Therefore...

A Cancerian Solar Eclipse indicates crisis and/or opportunity in any or all of these areas.

However, the July 1, 2011 Solar Eclipse may come off as an insignificant solar eclipse for it is a tiny partial eclipse which will be visible from a small patch of ocean near Antarctica. And yet the potential for natural disasters cannot be ruled out with the influence of any eclipse, can they? And perhaps the universe is lengthening our lessons and indicating a longer period of time for teaching us.

The final Solar Eclipse of 2011 occurs on November 25, 2011 @ 2Sag37 in the difficult 14 North Series. Celeste Teal gives this one a "Blazing New Trails" label; Brady's Predictive Astrology describes the 14N Series as "most peculiar" and says it "heralds an acute time of confusion in personal relationships, unexpected happenings in financial matters, and possible illness."

This eclipse may bring unrequited love, despair and a draining of energy, confusion, and a weird turn of events (for you personally, lone reader, it all depends on which departments of life - 'houses' - an eclipse degree falls into and how it triggers various planets and points in your chart...maybe it doesn't!)

Therefore, no important judgments or decisions about events should be made until the influence of this eclipse fades for too much deception and illusion exist for anyone to be clearly informed or realistically inspired --

More Time Links between 1074 and Our Day?

For historical perspective on the Nov 2011 Solar Eclipse, it may be instructive to consider that the 14N Series first manifested on April 29, 1074 OS @ 13Tau54, with Neptune - the veil - @ 9Gem09 Rx, where gold-hoarder Midas, the asteroid, hangs around in the tropical zodiac these days.

This Neptune-Midas time link leads me to suspect that 'the veil' mentioned above in the 14N theme info, in Nov 2011, has to do with the world's wealth and resources which are close to being completely gathered in and hidden away by the global power elite who don't need more riches in order to put food on their tables, but use the illusion of money to ramp up within each of us our senses of lack, want, inferiority, and loss. With currency collapses possible, the olden days of bartering may have to return.

The 1074 eclipse degree of '13Tau54' is within one degree of our modern Inaugural Ascendants which always represent the Oath of Office of the President of the United States (Jan 20 @ noon in DC), and thus, the US presidency and whoever is playing the role at any given time.

In addition, 14N's initial eclipse in the year 1074 also has Saturn @ 8Sag11 showing that the eclipse in this difficult series occurred during a Saturn/Neptune opposition phase which stimulates within the collective morbid, morose, melancholy thoughts, and a tendency toward irrational fears stemming from deep within the collective unconscious.

As you know, the antithetical Saturn/Neptune duo of energies indicates such social issues, concerns, and conditions as socialism and/or communism, where Saturn's rigidity, realism, and stability meets Neptune's dreaminess, dissolution, and fraud. Together they represent caution, pessimism, long periods of neglect, and a general lack of accountability; large social movements are also involved as authority (Saturn) is challenged (opposition) by the masses(Neptune) - and possibly authority is challenged by the media (Neptune)!

Another interpretation of Saturn/Neptune may be particularly highlighted as well esp if you tend to use the 'Sibly' natal chart for America (5:10 pm LMT on July 4, 1776, Philadelphia, PA) because our national Saturn 14Lib48 and Neptune 22Vir25 straddle natal Midheaven 00-2Lib giving our nation a Sat/Nep = Mc vibe = taking a stand on practices which lessen the quality of life and a reputation (Mc) for correcting such practices; using shortened, inefficient methods when tough, dedicated, completed work is needed; giving up and capitulating to the demands of the environment; peculiar loss of ambition; materialism vs idealism; emotional suffering; moodiness; losing courage quickly.

In the January 4, 2011 Solar Eclipse chart pictured above, Mercury 21Sag22 in 1st house, sits precisely upon the Saturn/Neptune midpoint... so we have: 'pessimism; a difficult grasp of things; strangely nervous' to begin 2011 - and the difficult 14 North Series to end the year. For this and other reasons, 2011 will be a doozy.

And, of course, a most basic consideration for America whenever it comes to Saturn/Neptune is: Neptune (invisible; shadow) government (Saturn) and the continuing mystery of just who is really in charge of America.

Closing the year is the December 10, 2011 Lunar Eclipse @ 18Gem11, not quite close enough to US natal Mars to count as an 'eclipsing' but near enough for some military and police fretting to occur especially when we think of how 2011 began: with a Solar Eclipse conjoined by the explosive Mars/Pluto midpoint upon it, so that two pictures are created:

Mars/Pluto = Sun: working hard until collapse; violent measures; injury or accident; shock from the intervention of a Higher Power; effectively imposing one's will or theories upon others; a pushy or demanding nature; achievements attained by superior techniques or endurance.

Mars/Pluto = Moon: a strong impulse to proceed with ideas or plans; using traditional means of power to meet goals; audacity and daring; ambition; impulsive or hasty actions; a determined woman.

The year-end effects of the Dec 2011 Lunar Eclipse influence the start of the year 2012 with the Nov 2011 Solar Eclipse providing background vibes; the first Solar Eclipse of 2012 doesn't occur until May 20, 2012 @ 00Gem in the 14 South Series when "an obsessive idea is finally accepted"; 14S last occurred in 1994 and thereby resurfaces issues from the 1994 Republican take-over of Congress; it may also indicate some types of property settlements (Gaza? the US foreclosure mess? other?)

In her book Eclipses, Celeste Teal titles the December 10, 2011 Lunar Eclipse Solicitations with its ruler Mercury accenting communications, speakers, messages, negotiations, youth, transport, trade, speculations, and education; we may as well go ahead and add 'reporters, journalists, and bloggers' to the slosh as war (Mars/Pluto) propaganda (Mercury) envelopes and attempts to persuade the world to bomb defenseless people once again thus expand the globalists' totalitarian reach.

This is the kind of thing that makes me want to keep using America's 'Sibly' version natal chart with its Saturn in 10th house, Neptune in 9th...Saturn/Neptune, among other things, is 'secret' or 'shadow' (Neptune) government (Saturn.) Michael Munkasey gives the political implications of Saturn/Neptune as:

Thesis: Delusions among the real leadership; long lived programs that have no real purpose; policies that restrict spies; misuse of law officers; inefficient use of capable expert advice; mistaken religious leaders.

Antithesis: Leaders deceive about the exercise of control; deficient practices exposed; respected persons involved in questionable practices (most of the US Congress and White House? jc); a leader capitulates; reliable equipment failures.

Now I know Mr. Munkasey doesn't prefer to be quoted yet I did it anyway! That America has a Saturn/Neptune flavor to our Midheaven (Goals; Aspirations; Public Standing), the most visible point in any chart, is no surprise to the larger world.

It's the citizenry of America going blithely on their ways while ignoring these important issues that alarms me.

Then this morning I received a forwarded email from a friend concerning the immigration legislation that Washington is cobbling together under the auspices of Senators Graham and Schumer - and their stealth move to insert a provision making private-info-embedded chips in National ID Cards a must for every citizen of the US and without which no one - no one - will be able to get a job or buy even the most basic items.

Does this sound like Revelation's mark of the beast without which 'no one will be able to buy or sell'? Does to me.

The Last Two Great Conjunctions (3x due to retrogradations) of Saturn and Neptune whose energies together represent on one level "secret government" or a government and leaders full of secrets and deceptions, and/or a misguided or deceitful (Nep) leader (Sat):

As you know in Astrology, any conjunction of two planets signifies a start of a new cycle of activity and influence and we've recently been under the influence of their opposition (180 degrees apart.) Oppositions are culmination stages of what was begun at the conjunction - thus, has America's reputed 'secret government' always been running in the background or is it a decades-long phenomenon?

And as always with Astrology, many levels of meaning accrue to the Sat/Nep pairing but for now let's merely look at the their last conjunctions and discuss which Solar Eclipse Series manifested as the Pre-Natal Eclipse prior to the first of both sets of conjunctions.

Separately both Saturn and Neptune can bring along issues of loss or theft, and their cyclical opposition presided over 2008's financial collapse as the culmination or fulfillment of the 'new activities' cycle begun in 1989 (Reagan and Bush Sr.) And of course, 1952/53 tabs Harry Truman (in office until Jan 20, 1953) and his successor, Dwight D. Eisenhower (Jan 20, 1953 - Jan 20, 1961.) All or most of these well-connected men were Freemasons, with atom-bomber Truman the 33rd president, significant due to the importance in Freemasonry of the number 33. "Give 'em hell, Harry" indeed. You'll reap what you sowed, Mr. Truman.

Yes, one of the thinnest moral justifications (rationalizations) I've ever come across out of Washington DC is the one about how Truman dropped bombs on Japan to 'save' lives by ending the war! Now that may or may not have been true, but it was hardly a moral trade-off that justified the loss of life and suffering their atom bomb decision engendered for generations - and it was pure choice on the part of the US government. That a natural law was broken when the first atom was split didn't seem to bother them either.

Okay, that last was pure opinionl here's the way the Saturn/Neptune tango played out:

Saturn conj Neptune (appr 36-year cycle):

1. Nov 21, 1952 @ 22Lib47;
2. May 1, 1953 @ 22Lib30;
3. July 22, 1953 @ 21Lib12. (All are within the 15Lib-15Sco Via Combusta yet are conj two Fixed Stars that are bright spots in the 'Burning Way': Arcturus ('a different approach; success through patient work') and Spica ('potential for brilliance; victory; riches.')

1. Mar 3, 1989 @ 11Cap55;
2. June 24, 1989 @ 11Cap14;
3. Nov 13, @ 10Cap22.

(The next Great Conjunction of Sat/Nep will be a big deal for the world - conj the Aries Point on Feb 20, 2026 @ 00Ari45. Transiting Pluto will be in early Aquarius by then but will move into 5-degr orb of the 1989 conj beginning in 2010.)

The Solar Eclipse Series which occurred prior to the first of their conjunctions in 1953 and the first in 1989 is the same Series! Another way to state it is that both Sat/Nep conjs of 1952 and 1989 occurred under the auspices of the 8 South Series, a difficult family indicating: finishing something, being sadly parted, separation and loss; physical injury through over straining one's strength. The last manifestation of 8S was on Sept 22, 2006 @ 29Vir30.

11S is also the PE of the Lockerbie Bombing over Scotland (1988), NASDAQ (1971), Nixon's deceptive 'Checkers' speech (1952), and of George Tenet, Vladimir Putin, William Kristol, Patrick Henry, and of Bush Sr's NWO-touting presidency. You notice the spy/saboteur flavors here.

So I guess it's little wonder that so many folks are experiencing loss of all kinds under the rays of Saturn/Neptune, losses made more personal for Americans because of the recent grim-reality/cold-water transit of Saturn to our natal Neptune in Virgo, sign of Work and Workers.

Of olden days or newly established, the secret government of the US is firmly in place, m'peops. Each presidency is but a baton-passing of the ultimate plan held in store and patiently implementd by stages.

Has our will to fight gone? No. But they keep us fighting strangers in distant lands so that we can't fight our real enemy - an amoral secret government.

A Saturn/Neptune quincunx and Financial Crisis 2008

In July 2009 I made an attempt to relate the cycle of Saturn and Neptune to the 2007-2008 financial crisis, and to my own general misgivings about the original and current forms of our US government.

And Saturn's 'cold water' end-of-August conjunction with US natal Neptune @ 22Virgo25, the 'grim reality' transit, has added to the general feelings of gloom in the collective. Reality is having to be faced, and it had better be! If only we could get all our Washington politicians to come clean so we could deal, right?

Well, the quincunx (inconjunct), an aspect of 150 degrees, is difficult to deal with at the best of times, which financially we may say these are not. Saturn is form, Neptune is formlessness, and their inconjunct adds to the diffulties as the irreconcilable must be reconciled.

Yet fulfilling social obligations and/or doing social work for the common good are two of the aspect's most positive manifestations, so with today being the 8th anniversary of the 9/11 attacks, it's most apt that a drive is on for the newly established 911 Day of Service and Remembrance. This links 9/11 with the 2003 Iraq War response (misguided though it may have been) when Saturn and Neptune were last inconjunct (2003/04.)

That today's Sept 11 observances in Pennsylvania, New York, and DC fall just hours prior to the perfecting of another Saturn/Neptune quincunx seems synchronistically appropriate, doesn't it?

And most fortuitously for both of us, a brilliant article has been published concerning the transiting Saturn/Neptune quincunx and its part in our economic woes, just in time for the aspect's perfection tomorrow, Sept 12, 2009, with Saturn in Virgo, Neptune in Aquarius.
