Not Another Govt Shutdown!

House Speaker Mike Johnson has set a vote on funding which would push back on yet another (Republican) Government Shutdown. Yet Mr. Johnson is admitting that the situation is iffy.

Remember 2020 when Mr. T instigated a Christmas Government Shutdown? A December Full Moon in Cancer had spotlighted his natal 11th house Mercury @8Can51 And of course, we all know way too well about the old fella's Mercury-Neptune square of deception, fantasy, lack of discrimination - and his sneaky mind (A. Oken). His Gish gallop of lies and propaganda comes with the square for free - such a deal!

Meanwhile, Election 2024 is upon us, and some political wags are saying that Republicans will vote the keep the government open because they don't want to be tarred and feathered by a Tr*mp shutdown just prior to November 5th. Plus, the Senate won't play along in any case, and this limitation may be symbolized by lawmaker Saturn Rx @14Pis40 conjunct the 1854 Neptune of the Republican Party - the grim face of reality transit.

And so another government shutdown may or may not occur this year, but I thought as a dear reader you might wish to view a Horoscope just in case: October 1, 2024 12:01 am edt Washington DC; notable are the several fixed stars conjunct planets:

Yet actually, an October 1, 2024 shutdown would practically introduce the next Solar Eclipse of October 2, 2024 in the loss/separation 8 South Saros Series which brings along Election 2024 and Inauguration 2025. The hope I cling to is that the 8 South Eclipse degree of 10Libra falls snugly within Mr. T's natal Neptune-Chiron-Jupiter trio of grand schemes, grifts, and speculation in his 2nd house of Money, Values, Possessions, and Earning Ability.

However, we know that the loss and separation of a government shut down would, as usual, land upon - not just scheming politicians - but on the furloughed and laid-off workers affected, and all of us who depend upon the US government to fulfill its many tasks in a timely manner, automated and otherwise.

Sept 2024: Menace at Mar-a-Lago

It's difficult to miss the big news out of the Mars-a-Lago Golf Club yesterday but if you need it, here's a link to details concerning the appparent assassination attempt on the dictator-wanna-be. Considering that such dangerous events occur somewhat frequently in other countries, perhaps in the US the dictator-wanna-be job description should include the possible peril potential which is made even more likely if a wanna-be manages to officially become a dictator - especially if his activities tend toward the controversial, scandalous, and criminal side.

Besides, it's a natural law that everyone must reap what they sow!

Meanwhile, my suspicion is that Pluto of primal viol*nce fame, and now back in Saturn-ruled Capricorn (The Dictator placement) at a critical-crisis 29th degree, is somehow involved even if only in his invisible, behind-the-scenes manipulator role. Of course, Pluto can also wear an assassin's cap, or even a pope's chapeau, but those topics are waaay beyond the scope of such a meager post as this.

Wanna-be Golfing Near the 5th Hole

Hour of an out-of-bounds Mars in Moon-ruled Cancer, always a touchy sign for belligerent Mars. Chart-ruler Jupiter @20Gem25 is nearly setting and applying only by sextile to wounded Chiron Rx in Mars-ruled Aries, a maverick placement for the centaur.

It's being reported that alleged gunman Ryan Wesley Routh, possibly troubled over wanna-be's position on Ukraine, has a criminal record and a reputation for doing "stupid" stuff. He's being painted as mentally off-kilter. Then significantly, excessive Jupiter conjoins dictator-wanne-be's natal 10th house planetary trio and is partile conjunct his fateful North Node of contacts and encounters.

Potential expressions of planets aspecting dictator-wanna-be's natal planets (June 14, 1946 10:54 am edt Queens, NY) include:

Mars SQ Neptune (hidden competition; ideological conflicts; urge to escape); Uranus SQ Mars (disputes; risks; thwarted goals; lashing out; own worst enemy); Jupiter oppo Moon (emotional insecurities activated); Sun SQ Sun (coping with crisis and change; ego blockages); South Node conjunct Neptune (contact with those who see illusions).

Well, there's my quick consideration of yesterday's apparent attempt on the life of dictator-wanna-be, allegedly the second in about two months. Hopefully, it won't be necessary to write about this again but I suppose I will if need be. One might wonder if years of wanna-be's rhetoric of "American carnage" in America and his constant bad mouthing our country has brought him the precise conditions he craves - but with the gun pointed at him. And this spotlights the above picture of being his own worst enemy.

Laura Loomer: Eclipse Baby

Perhaps you've seen this: Laura Loomer Promotes 9/11 Conspiracy After Joining Trump at Event Commemorating Attacks (HuffPost).

Meanwhile, on the Wikipedia page of "Republican" conspiracy theorist and Trump advisor Laura Loomer we find her birthdate listed as May 21, 1993 in Tucson, Arizona.

It has been reported that Ms. Loomer flew with Trump to the September 10th Harris-Trump Debate in Philadelphia during which Trump aired the dog-and-cat-eaters-of-Springfield, Ohio, a racist-based conspiracy theory that I'm told got its start via Trump's VP sidekick, JD Vance whose natal Sun @10Leo conjuncts Trump's 12th house Pluto = Mars-Saturn midpoint of fury, destruction, death, and intervention by a higher power. Mr. Vance's Sun at apex of Mars-Saturn suggests a weakened condition, and as we know, Trump has said he doesn't "talk" to Vance. Hmmm!

Born Near an Eclipse: An Eventful Life

Meanwhile, Laura Loomer is an eclipse baby because on May 21, 1993, a Solar Eclipse in the 13 South Saros Series occurred so I'm displaying here her speculative natal horoscope (birth time unknown) in the form of the 1993 13 South Eclipse set for her birth location of Tucson, AZ with 13S themes listed, below; also listed on the chart, upper right corner, is Loomer's Mars-Saturn midpoint opposed by her Pluto in Scorpio (fanaticism), a cosmic echo of these energies that lurk in Trump's 12th house, as noted:

13 South Eclipse Themes (paraphrasing Brady's Predictive Astrology #ad):

Sinister energy underneath an urge for expansion which contains frustration, inhibition, and loss or separation; (note: this resonates with the 8 South Eclipse of October 2, 2024 which "brings us" Election 2024 and Inauguration 2025 with its themes of loss, partings, and separation); striving for group endeavors, positively or negatively; mass evacuations (and/or deportations?); constitutional crisis.

Zodiacally, the initial 13 South provides a lens through which to view all subsequent 13 South eclipses and it manifested on May 24, 0803 @5Gem56. So with Loomer's Prenatal Eclipse ('PE') in very early Gemini, a Mercurial lens is doubly suggested along with the versatility, superficiality, and duplicity that chatty Gemini is often known for. Plus, quirky or erratic thinking and communications are involved which I have to assume leads Ms. Loomer to promote conspiracy theories that beggar belief.

As for events of 1993, her birth year, one of the stand-outs has to be the tragic Siege of Waco which occurred in early 1993 but under the auspices of the 13 North Eclipse of December 24, 1992 @2Capricorn (large, ambitious group projects).

In closing, let's add that 13 South eclipses have occurred in 1939 (Germany signs a treaty with Mussolini and invades Poland), 2011 (among other events, the brutal shooting of Rep. Gabby Giffords - in Tucson, AZ). The next 13 South will occur in 2029.

Election 2016 and Election 2024 Midpoint Picture Potentials

Well, today I've printed out a curious little graphic showing the Election 2016 and Election 2024 midpoint pictures with potentials as they stood and will stand at 8:00 pm est Washington DC on November 8, 2016 and November 5, 2024. This post is inspired by the fact that a few political wags have suggested that Election 2024 resembles Election 2016 in certain respects based on their political views and information.

However, yours truly must be primarily dependent upon planetary horoscopes and historical trends which resonate with Eclipse Cycles, other cosmic informants such as the Venus Cycle, plus, a smattering of listening to and reading the news, unsettling as it often is.

Other sources include certain podcasts and one of my favorites is by a plain-speaking New Yorker, David Feldman, whose current episode is a don't-miss in my political playbook: Trump Now Makes the Race about Race (You may need to 'rewind'.) Well, of course he does! And this the day prior to the September 10th Harris-Trump Debate (horoscope shown). You know, for a primitive Uranian, Mr. T really is quite predictable.

Admittedly, there is one cosmic factoid in particular that I do not care for at all: that the Predictive New Moon Prior to Election 2024 @9Scorpio is basically a Moon Return to Inauguration 2017's Moon position. Of course, at best this may only symbolize Trump voters from 2016 coming back into the cultish fold - likely because they're afaid not to.

Pluto in Capricorn: Dictators and Post Liberals

Much is explained concerning current affairs and authoritarian saboteurs in an informative article in The Dispatch: Post Liberalism. And as astrologers know, and fabled astrologer Reinhold Ebertin confirms, Pluto in Saturn-ruled Capricorn is The Dictator placement so it's no comfort that transit Pluto Rx left Aquarius and stepped a claw back into Capricorn on Sunday September 1, 2024, with Capricorn being the sign of government, law, business, investment, leadership - and (a potential for) world government.

Significantly, September 1, 2024 also timed a New Moon @11Vir04 at 9:58 pm ET, plus, it was Labor Day 2024 in the US which signaled the official beginning of Campaign 2024.

So for curiosity's sake, below you see a DC Horoscope of the very first moment (according to my SolarFireGold v9.27 software) that Pluto backed into Capricorn @29:59:59 at 7:57:26 pm edt on September 1st. For obvious reasons, the horoscope is set for Washington DC and shows subversive Neptune rising in 1st house at a critical 29th degree of shady Pisces, sign of the ocean, other bodies of water, marine creatures - and the Blue Tsunami of voters needed for best results on November 5th:

Meanwhile, transit Neptune remains conjoined with fixed star Scheat which suggests such events as weather disasters, drownings, or erosion. We've seen such events featured in the news with Scheat known as a star of misfortune when configured with malefic planets.

Then Jupiter, planet of codified religion, rules the chart's Ascendant (what?) and Midheaven (why?) as authoritative Saturn in Pisces rises - not the best placement for old man Saturn, planet of legalities, limits, blockages, restriction, responsibility, and authenticity. A potential for conflicts with opponents also applies to this placement, a clear reference to Campaign 2024 and the upcoming Harris-Trump Debate scheduled for September 10th, assuming that the old man shows up.

Must The Roman Empire Come Again?

Actually, the Roman Empire never ended, but morphed into the Catholic Church and remains submerged within the darkened chambers of Vatican City (horoscope linked, below). Despising America's Enlightenment principles, it's the religious rule of government model the saboteurs and seditionists are attempting to establish in the US. We experienced this negative energy on one level via their "anti-woke" campaign.

Then as Campaign 2024 trundles along and with US Election 2024 approaching, there's a lifelong predatory criminal running to stay out of prison who aspires to be dictator of America - in essence, a "divine-right" monarch, untouchable by law, and intending to restore a new, or perhaps an old, monarchy as in Europe (for background see The Dispatch linked, above) - and in total defiance of the Magna Carta, the scaffold of civilization.

Yet co-dictatorship with The Vatican must be part of their longed-for theocratic agenda of authoritarianism with enforced worhip on Sunday a major objective of their dream of "world government." Perhaps you've heard that when enforced observance on Sunday is implemented, it's the "mark of the beast" appearing to oppress and control. For it's all about timing, as you know.

2 Horoscopes: Trump w RFK Jr

Now that spoiler candidate Robert F. Kennedy Jr (aka, "Bob" or "Bobbie") has joined Trump's 2024 Campaign, we should probably take a look at a bi-wheel of their natal charts to check for planetary contacts between them.

The obvious one is JFK Jr's Jupiter Rx @17Gem20 conjunct Trump's 10th house Uranus 17Gem53, his guiding planet of chaos, disruption, and radical action due to its oriental position (last to rise before his Gemini Sun).

Other planetary links between them are shown in the Cancer/Capricorn and Leo areas of the Zodiac including RFK Jr's Pluto Rx @24Leo24 conjunct DJT's rising Mars (see planetary pairs, below). Perhaps the bi-wheel of their natal charts may be worth keeping around as we careen toward the November 5th Election, or maybe not. Their union may, in part, depend on how jealous running mate JD Vance becomes. But don't even think about a menage a trois!

Potentials of their Planetary Pairs (R. Ebertin):

Jupiter-Uranus: fortune hunters; adventurers; organizers; zealots with one-sided views; religious or philosophial conflicts; a lucky chance.

Year 2024 in a Cosmic Nutshell

The easiest way to view an entire year - namely Year 2024 - is to post for you two dual images showing Year 2024 at a glance:

1. Spring Equinox 2024 (lower left) with 2. Summer Solstice 2024 (upper right) followed by 3. Autumn Equinox 2024 (lower left) and 4. Winter Solstice 2024 (upper right).

Now as you know, a Spring Equinbox Horoscope (aka, Aries Ingress) actually symbolizes an entire year and may be consulted as such via transits, directions, and progressions. So for Year 2024, here's a link to a previous post displaying the Spring Equinox 2024 Horoscope set for Washington DC with gracious plenty astro-notes included.

Year 2024 Begins and Proceeds

Our year began with me-first Mars at 27AQ46 conjunct our July 4, 1776 Moon (We the People) suggesting a restless American populace as targets. Furthermore, Mars opposes a certain candidate's natal Mars rising in Leo along with royal Regulus, the "success if revenge is avoided" star. A Mars-oppo-Mars transit shows the folks who are diametrically opposed to old Mars in Leo. In this case, I'd say those folks are a majority of the American people who want America to move on from old grudges and malicious plans for revenge. In fact, some may call it Tr*mp fatigue.

So as you know, 2024 is proving to be an intensely emotional Moon-Pluto kind of year and with Election 2024 on November 5th (an event which falls within the purview of Autumn Equinox 2024) the year (and campaign) additionally becomes a Mars-Pluto opposition affair of forceful competition for power - and ends with Winter Solstice 2024's Moon-Saturn opposition which emphasizes the proper carrying out of responsibilities and "the call to duty" (A. Oken).

These energies sound appropriate for a presidential campaign especially since the oppression of individual rights is also an issue as we enter 2025. Clearly, one 2024 candidate offers oppression, dystopia, and morbidity, while the other candidate offers freedom, progress, and opportunity! The choice seems a no-brainer to me because I'll choose life over death every time - and democracy over fascism.

Meanwhile, it's only the soon-forming Autumn Equinox 2024 Horoscope that isn't ruled by aggressive Mars via the three charts' Scorpio Ascendants but by Venus instead, ruler of Libra, sign of the Scales of Justice. And as you see, Venus is at 29 Libra, a critical 29th degree, rises in the chart's 1st house, and could very well symbolize VP Kamala Harris, former AG and prosecutor. However, a Venus-Pluto square indicates obstacles on the path of Autumn Equinox 2024 Venus, obstacles through her opponents' circulating rumors which will likely involve financial and/or sexual matters.

Now disagree if you wish, but my suspicion is that the Venus-Pluto square reveals the political assaults coming against candidate Harris in the 2024 Campaign which, as political commentator David Feldman and others point out, is about to turn really really ugly.
