How Billionaires Built The Radical Right! - Thom Hartmann w Jane Mayer (Pluto!)

Here Thom Hartmann interviews author Jane Mayer whose book Dark Money: How Billionaires Built the Radical Right is a direct uncovering of a group of wealthy anti-governance types who felt threatened in 2009 by the presidency of Barak Obama and set up a "permanent campaign" to "nullify and obstruct" anything he proposed to do as a victorious politician who had run on 'Hope' and Change' (Jupiter and Uranus).

Mayer identifies The Koch Network, men who are neither Republican nor Democrat but are determined to use their outrageous personal and corporate wealth to subvert the democratic process and impose their will upon the US populace. This is one main reasons why most Americans have felt in recent years that their needs and interests no longer matter in Washington--to these high handed, amoral Plutos-behind-the-curtain--they don't:

(Any, all, or none are possibilities as are those of the 1993 (Clinton era) Uranus-Neptune conjunction/s @17/18 Capricorn (Global Government/NWO = strong-armed paternalism) which is now in orb of activation by Pluto into: extreme destruction, great losses, and calamities, all of which would be the outcome if a Republican grasps the White House and they and The Koch Network (and its foreign overlords) finally get their wish to dismantle social safety programs such as Social Security--and Veterans Healthcare is also on their privatization to-do list. Faithless plutocrats!)

So it's the resulting Synthesis of these plutocratic potentials we must be concerned about and the too-similar corporate neoliberalism of the Clinton wing of the Democratic Party which, as Benjamin Studebaker so ably asserts, began in earnest with the presidency of Jimmy Carter. Now in 2016 we find that the Democratic Socialism (a la FDR and LBJ) of candidate Bernie Sanders is the only antidote to Plutocracy we have left to us as long as Bernie's 'Political Revolution' comes to pass via a landslide voter turnout in November--otherwise, America's debilitating Income Inequality will be our generation's legacy to future generations.

DC Horoscope: April 18, 2016 Pluto's Rx Station on Tax Day

How curious that the Tax Day deadline is on April 18, 2016 for that's the very day of a Pluto Retrograde Station as you see in the horoscope set for Washington DC:

On April 18, 2016 Pluto's Rx Station is exact in the Eastern time zone at 3:25:38 am during an Hour of the Sun which is apex of a Thor's Hammer pattern that has the Jupiter-Saturn square at its base (listed on the chart, lower right). As a midpoint picture, social change and boasting are prominent with Sun-Jupiter-Saturn and we may expect the usual contention between progressives and conservatives. Moon, Mercury, and Pluto (the wealthy gold-hoarder and power-grabber) with Pluto stationing just within the 12th house of Politics, Karma, Self-Undoing, Large Institutions, Backroom Deals, and Hidden Enemies.

America's National Treasury is also prominent in the chart (2nd house, containing Venus, Uranus, and the Sun) and with fraudster Neptune in secretive Pisces rising in first house, and the societal Saturn-Neptune square describing difficult conditions such as the ones 2016 candidate Bernie Sanders continues to address, we might infer that prognosticators of a 2016 financial crash could be correct though of course more study is necessary. (My constant Comcast disconnections make more study difficult!)

Pluto Stations at 18 Capricorn: "The Union Jack Flies from a British Warship" which to me denotes war (which we have plenty of thanks to neocons and their foreign directors), POLITICAL POWER and strong-armed paternalism, and financially the City of London (the Rothschilds--now in Reno, Nevada!) But it also relates closely to 1993, Bill Clinton's presidency (NAFTA, etc), and the Great Conjunction/s of Uranus and Neptune at or near that degree (with Bill the Democratic Party fully embraced Corporatism).

So with transit Pluto now stronger at its station on Tax Day 2016, the Uranus-Neptune midpoint is activated by the hidden claws of Pluto and we have potentials for: abandonment of resistance; great losses; calamities and catastrophes (Ebertin) and this may be telling us about a financial collapse, US currency devaluation (Venus-Uranus in 2nd house: disrupted finances), a credit downgrade, or other financial chaos manipulative Pluto can bring.

Also noted on the chart in 10th house: the US natal Ascendant (July 4, 1776 5:09 pm LMT) with the transiting 'death axis' pair of planets upon it, Mars-Saturn, alerting us to a need to economize and/or difficult advancement. Since it's a transiting midpoint picture its effects are only temporary yet you see that conjunct warring Antares is Mars @8Sag53 stationing as well and turned Rx on April 17, 2016--and wherever there is Mars-Pluto action there are force, weaponry, and upheaval. And Mars as apex of a dynamic T-Square pattern is not comforting for the opposition between the inflationary spendthrift pair, Jupiter and Neptune (which also denote political conflicts), point toward Mars and gives the entire shebang a frosting of unreliability and market speculation.

Yet there are those determined toward success and they are signified by Jupiter @13Virgo Rx but still a high-powered executive. Jupiter can play the roles of banker, guru, corporatist, broadcaster, the general, and politician and in recent charts has often represented President Obama as Commander-in-Chief. We'll see how things work out as Jupiter plays engine of the Locomotive pattern as April 2016 and Tax Day approach.

Thom Hartmann: Hillary Should Release the Goldman Sachs Speeches - video

February 4, 2016: here Thom takes a call concerning Hillary Clinton's large speaking fees from banks such as Goldman Sachs (who helped crash the US economy in 2007/08) and then explains the Democratic Party's change to the Third Way Democratic Party we see now via establishment types like Hillary Clinton and husband Bill. With his 1992 election the Party transitioned to taking money from corporations and to becoming wealthy after leaving the White House and this is one of the choppy seas that 2016 candidate Hillary Clinton is attempting to navigate as candidate Bernie Sanders continues to spotlight it:

Well, I'd really like to read the text of her expensive speeches to Goldman Sachs, wouldn't you? In my populist-common good view, the Democratic Party needs to come up with a 4th way that includes the best interests of the American people. Now that would be a sea change worth navigating.

In the video, Thom mentions the year 1988 for the change and of course, with the 1993 Inauguration of Bill Clinton we may choose to time the corporatizing of the previously union-working-middle-class political party which was on display last evening in New Hampshire as Hillary Clinton attempted to deny herself as the "establishment" candidate by touting President **Obama and Joe Biden as "progressives", a part they play on TV. My Comcast connection problems persist but I want to say something quickly about this week's 'Hillary a progressive on some days' kerfluffle between Senator Sanders and Secretary Clinton. (No wonder she self-describes rather schizophrenically.) To me it's not as much of a 'some days' question, it's that Hillary Clinton is a progressive on some issues and a moderate on others. And a neocon on matters of war, conquest, and global government. But that's just my view from the 13th colony of Georgia, take it or leave it! jc

Tonight's Democratic dust-up between Bernie Sanders and Hillary Clinton airs on MSNBC 9:00 pm est with Rachel Maddow (yay!) and Chuck Todd hosting. This should be informative.

Jupiter-Neptune's Marco Rubio "the boy in the bubble" - video

This video clip of 2016 candidate Chris Christie (R-NJ) labeling 2016 candidate Marco Rubio "the boy in the bubble" perks up my ears since I basically mentioned the same quality in Senator Rubio due to his natal Jupiter-Neptune conjunction which tends to inflate, bubble up, over promise, and cause its owner to dream grandly. Trouble is, there must be other planetary factors in the character to give flighty visions a basis for practical manifestation such as a strong Saturn, well aspected. In this situation, Saturn could represent the older corporate types who are financially backing Rubio for president and making his grand dream possible. He does seem quite young, inexperienced, and vulnerable to being bossed around by those who paid his way though you may disagree, of course.

In his critique, Governor Christie is talking about Rubio not answering questions, following a script, and being protected by his handlers during the campaign via his reference to a famous 1976 film, The Boy in the Plastic Bubble which was remade in 2011, plus, PBS' American Experience did a feature on it.

But Jupiter-Neptune has more to say about Senator Rubio due to past questions about a corporate credit card of the GOP and his 'creative' finances with charges like living beyond his means--a very Jupiter-Neptune way of financing which may not always be on the up-and-up. But then, we are talking about politicians so let's not get our Jupiterian hopes bubbling too frothily for all bubbles must burst!

Since this is a second week of comcast outages and DNS problems here my online time is brief so I'll publish a bi-wheel of the horoscope for Inauguration 2017 with the natal chart of Republican Senator Ted Cruz around it. As you must know, 2016 candidate Ted Cruz won last night's Iowa Caucus with Donald Trump coming in second and Marco Rubio third. Outside in green the US natal planets are entered; blue highlights are the planets of Ted Cruz; the chart in the center is the Inauguration horoscope of January 20, 2017 noon est Capitol Building Washington DC with the Moon @9Sco21 conjoined by Cruz's natal Mars--and his natal Saturn rising across from US natal Moon--ouch! Perhaps his Saturn will put an end to his (and the Koch Brothers') White House dream (see eclipses just below!) As you see, his impatient Moon-Uranus duo snugs closely around US natal Saturn (14Lib48) which has a 'traditional vs avant-garde' influence (particularly on the US Senate)> we have Plus, his natal North Node of public contact @25AQ19 conjoins America's natal Moon (We the People) of 1776. This will be four years of another Sun AQ-Moon Scorpio blend as we had on January 20, 2009, folks.

edit 3/26/16: what do you think are his chances of taking the 2017 Oath of Office? What higher oath might he have already taken? The primary link I see between the two charts is Cruz's North Node of public contact conjoining US natal Moon, aka, We the People in Mundane Astrology. A sense of destiny is attached to the American public's connection to Ted Cruz yet his NN and the transiting SN will join in a while which makes it not the most opportune time to begin new relationships, partnerships. or alliances for they may have opposite goals and/or they may be based on negative traits or negative vs positive motives, any of which may lead to an early demise or ending of the union. All crowns come with a heavy price and the 'Oval Office' is one that even the self-important Senator Green Eggs will not be able to pay yet meanwhile, there's a "big picture" of a Script which must be followed, very little option to do otherwise, as Dr. Tyl has informed us (Solar Arcs).

And the 2017 Inaugural Moon precisely conjoining Cruz's natal Mars @9Scorpio? I hardly know what to say since Moon-Mars contacts can denote excited or stirred up people, or, an angry public or disgruntled and/or protesting groups of people. Hope he isn't counting on our Moon-Mars link to further his Reconstructionist dreams and visions of power and control over the masses in fruitless and painful attempts to legislate an authoritarian morality--his theocratic morality--from the White House. Our president is meant to represent The People and is our only avenue to making our views and needs heard by the two other branches of the US government.

Charletans, criminals, and racketeers who pose as politicians regularly practice government badly while in office and act in breach of the public trust with abandon and yet their antics will not cause this American, a daughter of the Revolution, to doubt our nation's original (and present) intent that a worthy Republic be formed to Rule by Consent of The Governed for the principle is well baked into the American pie at least since 1776. Time grows short and Inauguration 2017 rapidly approaches. May all turn out as best as it can.
