Once again I assert that changing presidents in honor of the Oval Office is a baton-passing exercise. It has nothing to do with deserting a previous agenda. It has everything to do with continuing an agenda, though perhaps under a different guise...this time, a suave one.



You know the old saw: would you buy a new or used car from this man? Well, it seems you and I already have, but unbeknownst to many, George and Dick were huddled together in the rumble seat, grinning like satanists on a joyride to Hades.

Financial Astrology 2009 - 2010: Saturn, Jupiter-Neptune

Master Financial Astrologer Ray Merriman has an article on Saturn's Realities and Jupiter/Neptune Hopes that takes us from 2009 into 2010.

Since financial cycles and astrological cycles may be understood in tandem and one used as a magnifying glass to read the other, I recommend Mr. Merriman's article to you, especially since the current media attention seems focused more on Jupiter/Neptune's dreams and grand schemes than on Saturnian practicalities and realism.

2009, year of the Great Conjunction/s of Jupiter and Neptune. This speculating and possibly religious pair's third and final conjunction will be on Dec 21, 2009 @ 24AQ18, conj US natal Moon (the people.) Shall I type out the midpoint picture this forms one more time? Okay.

Jup/Nep = US n Moon: an emotional swoon; going with the wind; dreaminess deceives; becoming involved in speculation (I know - we've been doing that for years, that's a big part of the problem - sheeple to the slaughter); little sense of reality (engrossing new films and TV shows help divert us; plus, power politics played in front of the cameras); losing oneself in plans; instability; wastefulness. 2009 is also the year of transiting Saturn's late August-early September visit to America's Neptune in Virgo, sign of Health, Work, and Service (which includes our police and military forces.) This is the 'grim reality' transit - but everything Saturn *changes, for change he does, is necessary for owning up to truth, and for lessoning us into compliance with the way things really are.

"All good things must come to an end," was undoubtedly dictated by Saturn, old Cronos himself...to Mercury, **The Scribe.

But Washington, Wall Street and the gold-encrusted world banks are fighting having their culpabilities and weaknesses exposed, as Saturn always insists upon. Destructuring, transformative Pluto the saboteur is Rx again and in the first degree of Saturn-ruled Capricorn which adds to a general sense of doom, and that fated, karmic reaping-what-we-sow vibe.

Thing is, it was mainly the uppercrust who sowed sorriness, and the common folk are doing the reaping of the power elite's frauds and faulty thinking.

The good news is that Saturn-to-Neptune has the magical ability to bring dreams (Neptune) into Saturnian reality and form, so my wish is that it's Saturn the Grizzly Wizard coming along to create new jobs and opportunities which are more stable and long lasting than any dream we have previously imagined.

Our American character's Neptunian dreams and ideals are of a practical Virgoan nature, after all.

I don't think a decent job (Saturn) is too much to expect (Neptune)!

'Capitalism: A Love Story' by Michael Moore - video

This trailer about Michael Moore's new film, which debuts on Oct 2, hints that the movie looks promisingly informative and more than a little annoying for Bush, Cheney, Paulson, Bernanke, Congress, Wall Street gentry, and the rest of the heisters who've ruined a world economy so they can build it back to their liking.

Wonder if seeing Mr. Moore's film will change my opinion.

Propaganda of a Rising Star: Ben Bernanke

The Atlanta Journal and Constitution reports that Fed head Ben Bernanke is a "rising star" who, after a "slow start", is managing the financial crisis quite well, thanks.

Perhaps he is, but knowing that Mr. Bernanke's Fed term is up in January 2010, my suspicious nature is more likely to see the current glowing reports on Mr. Bernanke's performance as propaganda meant to justify the fact that there's little chance President Obama will be replacing Bernanke in January.

And the Wall Street culture continues to rule plutocratic America as numbers reports are fudged and are strategically released to create a 'special effect' - a mirage - of financial improvement.

All in all, I'd have to say that the jury is still out on Mr. Bernanke's performance - at least it is on Main Street USA.

Astrology of Reagan's First Inauguration 1981

The text of Ronald Reagan's First Inaugural Address of Jan 20, 1981 attests that his was the first inaugural ceremony to be held on the West Front of the Capitol Building; thus Mr. Reagan was facing the Washington Monument and the Jefferson and Lincoln Memorials, as he notes in his address.

And yes, I believe that he was standing on their and others' "shoulders" as he said, but he was also looking into the distance while mentioning the Potomac River and Arlington National Cemetery with its simple crosses and Stars of David. Here is an example of a man speaking publicly in two realms at once (maybe more.) His 'code words' warmed the hearts of the religious folk who did so much to elect him and were so totally charmed and thrilled with him as president, yet Illuminati references are sprinkled throughout the speeches of his administration.

As I continue studying this chart and the Reagan years, I expect more of such references to become clear now that the NWO has its ugly head stuck out for all to see. Finding that more and more people (finally) see the trajectory of this one-world-government swill (which began way before Reagan's presidency) makes freebie blogging less of a time-waster in my book of working on behalf of the collective.

Well, Justice Warren Burger presided that 1981 day at noon, and five minutes after not being president anymore - which means 12:05 pm est - a secret service agent whispered in former President Carter's ear that the US hostages in Tehran had been released. This dirty-tricks episode finagled by the GOP and CIA to undermine the Democrats is perhaps one of the more visible examples of political cynicism and lowness ever recorded.

The CIA longed to cover up their previous meddlings and mayhems, of course, and the Rs were intent upon the presidency - a majority was gained for them in the Senate in 1980. And they desperately wanted to cover up their collusion with the CIA and certain Iranian officials in Tehran. The American people's concerns factored in not at all - and being honest with the people? Fugeddabowdit.

Below you see an image of the horoscope of the 1st Inauguration of Ronald Reagan with notations added, click to enlarge. Outside the chart and highlighted in green are Mr. Reagan's natal placements; a few US natal placements are added as well. (Ex: US natal Mercury Rx at Ic, as it is now but the Ic is a degree later these days. This places US natal Pluto at Midheaven, the Goal Point of any chart.

So we might wish to extend this picture to all US inaugurations since the switch to Jan 20 in 1933...Mercury/Pluto = ASC: exercising influence upon many people; intellectual domination of one's environment. - Tyl; Ebertin.) We may say that the switch for FDR's put our nation's natal Mercury/Pluo opposition from 1776 front and center with its persuasive speaking and writing; propaganda; crafty subtlety; the spirit of opposition; premature action vibes. (Ebertin.)

As you see, RR's inauguration in 1981 was a Mars-to-natal-Sun transit for the Gipper, among other things. His 'coronation' occurred during a Saturn (control; authority) Hour; the rising degree at noon of Jan 20 was a smidge earlier back then, thanks to precession, so it's at 13Tau47, conjunct Chiron 13:24 Rx ('crisis in values'); natal Moon and n North Node (NN) are rising indicating the successful candidate's fame, prominence, and popularity with the public bwo Hollywood, the Screen Actors' Guild, and the governorship of California. His 'good fortune' at being selected is indicated by NN - and Moon - in 1st house.

(And of course, 'guilds' conjure the image of Freemason lodges which began, unless I am mistaken, as guilds.) The Part of Brethren is rising, too, and I couldn't resist adding that little 'secret society' nugget for you.

Natal Moon/NN rising puts his natal Jupiter/SN on the Descendant, of course, and I've covered a good bit of that in my June 30 post about Reagan's Jupiter Return as he signed the Garn-St Germain Act and opened the deregulation door back in 1982. This is my "I knew it was You, Reagan" article.


1981's Sun 00AQ34 is where the Sun was on Jan 20, 2009 - and is where the transiting NN is this very day, but in 1981 no planets were in close conjunction with the Sun ('the leader'); however, Mercury 13AQ32 is conj South Node (SN) indicating thinking that's ahead or behind its time, a sense of isolation in one's thinking, planning, or communicating - others may take credit for one's ideas, plus, personal timing could be better with Mercury/SN. (But Reagan had astrologers to aid him with timing issues!)

Mars-to-n-Sun gives a surge of vitality (although RR's future health problems may be foreshadowed by Chiron conj ASC); enthusiastic endorsements come easily with this transit, courage shows and one demonstrates one's integrity and principles. Competitive situations come along and one is up for them - this would be in effect for the duration of his presidency, or at least for his first term, if you prefer.

(I tend to read presidential two-termers' inaugural charts as the 1st one representing the entire enchilada and the first 4 years, with the 2nd inaugural chart as the halfway mark, yet specific to the last 4 years. FDR's charts are of a different dynamic, of course, and more complex.)

The Iranian hostage crisis may also be indicated by Chiron Rx conj ASC.

1981's Uranus 29Sco17 in 7th house of Partnerships was conjoined by our Inaugural Moon (We-The-People) on Jan 20, 2009, which qualifies as a Moon-to-Uranus transit, indicating emotional upheavals and changing domestic lifestyles. Losing one's home and economic status can come under that category, and its dire consequences for our domestic concerns are signified by a crisis 29th degree, too...

'30Sco': "A Halloween Jester" (Iranian hostages freed as if on Reagan's watch, etc)...the Jones' Sabian Symbols gives this degree as having contempt for established values (see: Chiron conj ASC, above.)

Uranus opposite Midas Rx

Well, gold-hoarding Midas surely was rising back in 1981, and we know that the Decade of Greed - the 1980s - helped set the stage for our current circumstances. Guess Reagan really did stand on the shoulders of giants, didn't he?

All US presidents do, as the baton is passed and our much-touted 'Manifest Destiny' is further promoted. America's Great Seal has been turned over with Mr. Obama's selection (aka, 'election'), with its reverse now representing this nation...the all-seeing eye of Horus as the capstone upon the pyramid of power.

Current transits are not entered on the Inaugural chart below, but it's interesting to note that transformative, destructuring Pluto conjoined 1981's Neptune 23Sag44 in 8th house off and on in 2005, crossed RR's natal ASC 27Sag16 in 2007 (Pluto has been in orb of these positions for the last few years actually), and the Dragon now pauses upon 1981's Minerva 00Cap35...and will conjunct and hang about with RR's natal Mars 3Sag59 beginning before the end of 2010.

Pluto to Lockerbie Bombing chart Aug 20, 2009

As you've heard, a man serving time for the crime suffers from terminal cancer and has been released by the Scottish government, and the US government is sounding snake-mean as it calls for 'house arrest' as if the ill fellow needs to be kept in one place with his dire condition! (But perhaps it's only a little of the political theater I'm always grousing about.)

Here's a 'time capsule' news story from Jan 31, 2001 as CNN proclaimed Libyan guilty of Lockerbie Bombing. The guilty verdict took 11 years to announce.

Now wondering what transits, if any, to the chart for Dec 21, 1988, 19:02:46 GMT, were now in play, I found that tr Pluto 00Cap47 Rx this very day is conjunct 1988's Sun and Uranus which gives three midpoint pictures, with all three planets conjunct a World Point of the Cardinal axis (00Cap) - on Dec 21, 1988 Pluto was at '15Sco':

Sun/Uranus = tr Pluto: a new individual reality; a demand for new perspectives; a radical reformer; twists of fate; tragic experiences; great physical suffering; imprisonment.

Sun/Pluto = Uranus: carrying out fanatic reforms without regards for oneself; arrest; sudden change; rebellion; reform.

Also in 2nd house of Earning Ability is Mercury, Exalted in Virgo 24:29 which sextiles US natal Mercury 24Can+ Rx, making car sales a continued hot tamale - at least for those who seek out the opportunity (sextile.) 'Cars' and 'sales' are both of Mercury's realm; trade issues are on the president's menu.

Highlighted in green is the T-Square configuration between Mercury/Uranus and Mars 26Gem36 (apex) in 11th house of Groups, Associations, Friends, Hopes, Wishes.

Merc/Uran = Mars: nervous drive finds the mark and usually pays off; courage; determination; the instincts of a fighter hitting home; summing things up quickly and acting accordingly; sudden success; nervousness; assaults; a sudden realization of ideas.

These T-Squared energies may signify the recent arrest of the hacker who stole the most credit and debit card details ever (since his last big online heist - he's already in jail) along with two or more accomplices who are represented by Mars in multiple and duplicitous Gemini (Gem = communications; Merc/Uran = computers; Mars = males, and more specifically, Mars = instigators and agents.)

You'll notice that much hinges upon Saturn at the New Moon because the old timekeeper is the one planet involved in both the YOD and the T-Square.

Well, hopefully you can click to enlarge the chart and read a few more details. I don't especially care for this New Moon chart although it is said to be a powerful one as New Moons go. Creative projects should really rev up over the weekend which gives the Moon time to grow in light. Perhaps I'll draw.

And yes, you're right. The crisis situation between the New Moon and the spiritual~health~speculation trio in AQ (Jup, Chir, Nep) is descriptive of the health care 'debate' going on now, and of our health care systems' decrepitude and frauds.

So with a new cycle beginning in spirit-of-endeavor Leo, perhaps around the time of the Full Moon in two weeks, we'll be in sight of a resolution of some sort. Or at least we'll have more details on the bill.

Alternatively?

The pressure from the YOD is so extreme, it breaks up the whole system into smithereens, and the legislative process turns into a bigger mush than it is now, if their Political Theater is to be believed. And I always think that most of their rehearsed bluster is 'on purpose', meant to slow things down, or to not pass bills the powers-that-be don't want passed. (Gotta protect that bottom line.)

(Originally about the health care reform efforts, I said that the proof would be whether Congress acts on behalf of the people and accomplishes something practical, or whether reform languishes in willy-nilly-land. Not my original words, but you know what I mean - show me the outcome of all their fine 'debate' - aka, wing-flapping and squawking to establish or maintain pecking order.)

Plus, as you see notated in 12th house, with the Moon's South Node conjunct July 21's Solar Eclipse 29Can27, we're all getting the full treatment now from the Eclipse's 'systems fail; new methods needed' influence.

After all, how many times have you heard or read the word 'system' in the news in recent months?

Personally, I'm inclined to opt out of the drive to inject, how about you?

And for children? I'd sooner school them at home than participate. But I no longer have school-aged children running about the place. I shudder for the parents who must put their children's well-being on the line for a State that seems headed for the totalitarian model of draconian heavy-handedness.

The phrase, Like lambs to the slaughter comes to mind. And people - even scientists - have been known to make mistakes that force others to suffer from their misjudgments. Any thoughts?

Howard Dean and 'public option' health insurance

'DR. NANCY SNYDERMAN: If we took a public option and retooled it somewhat, why not make the case to the American public that we will allow people below the age of 65 to buy into Medicare even if there's some trimming that has to be done out of that budget too?

DR. HOWARD DEAN: That's all I want. If you allowed people to buy into Medicare who are below 65 years old, that's a public option, and that's what we need.'


You've probably read or heard about Howard Dean's solution for the 'public option' maze of cross purposes we're being treated to while support for any reform melts away like a polar ice cap, exposing Atlantis' library of scrolls underneath...

So I'm passing on this snippet of his interview here as my way of saying, Listen to the doctor on this one. It's worth a try.
