When Jupiter Returns to his Spring EQ 2019 position

A view of the Spring Equinox 2019 Horoscope shows Jupiter in 4th house (IC @12Sag10 conjunct US 1776 Ascendant in late afternoon charts). As you know, astrological Jupiter is strong in its own sign of Sagittarius (23:40) and can play many roles on various levels within mundane horoscopes: politician, banker, financier, donor, corporatist, lawyer, judge, entertainer, religious figure (exs: hermit, guru, priest, pastor), military general, explorer, professor, lecturer, mentor, thespian, broadcaster, and propagandist. And you, dear reader, can probably think of more. I can think of Trump as a Jupiterian figure--he broadcasts, propagandizes, plays the POTUS role on TV, and worships money and power--and his natal Jupiter in Libra (muddied by the presence of his Libran Neptune and blind spot Chiron) is known for his "that's not fair!' stance whenever negative events or rhetoric relate to or impact him. (Note that Trump is also Mercurial and Uranian--a changeable wheeler dealer and lover of chaos and disruption. See Donald Trump in the Realms of Jupiter.)

Then there are Jupiter's potentials when traveling through Sagittarius to keep in mind. To quote Reinhold Ebertin, this position signifies: "noble character, love of justice, striving for inner development (especially when Rx), religious and moral aspirations, far-reaching plans, interest in foreign countries, wastefulness, speculation." And Trump has a 'speculation' streak in spades with his bubbly Jupiter-Neptune pair in natal 2nd house of Money, Possessions, and Values.

So can a Jupiter Return to the Spring Equinox 2019 chart hold significance? My suspicion is that it can since any Spring EQ horoscope is 'good for' an entire year until the next Spring EQ for the Sun's ingress to 00Ari00:00, the Aries Point, outweighs the other three Cardinal Ingresses of any 12-month period.

Actually, due to his current retrograde period (Rx April 10, 2019 @24Sag21--Direct August 11, 2019 @14Sag30), Jupiter returned to his Spring EQ position of 23Sag40 on May 1, 2019; his second and final return occurs on November 2, 2019 with Jupiter in the 12th house of Politics, Self-Undoing, Karma, Hidden Enemies, Large Institutions, and/or Behind-the-Scenes activities which include making backroom deals of Jupiterian proportions (Washington DC).

So in the November 2, 2019 Return Horoscope, Jupiter rules the 12th house (cusp 22Sag46) and is unaspected; he would rule the 2nd house too except for the condition that his 'other sign' Pisces is intercepted there which suggests karma that must be dealt with including Neptune Rx in 2nd house (of the National Treasury) @16Pis05. As you know, fraud, deception, illusion, and disguises tend to follow in Neptune's wake especially when we're talking DC Politics with its tedious Political Theater implications as always. Plus, when unaspected, Jupiter cannot add his wisdom and ability for balanced, moderated judgment to the activities and concerns of the other planets and he is unmotivated to seek situations or circumstances in which he can play the moderating role yet much enthusiasm, however off-and-on, may be shown in the house where he is found. Perhaps this Jupiter so near 12th cusp will make his way soon into the 11th house of Groups, Associations, Hopes and Wishes where he can be much more sociable--plus, there will probably be a microphone and camera awaiting him for his broadcasting purposes!

Saturn in Capricorn Activates a Recent Solar Eclipse

November 2, 2019 12:44:05 pm edt: ASC 14Cap45 makes Saturn, strong in Capricorn, the chart ruler; Saturn @15Cap32 rises and activates the January 5, 2019 Solar Eclipse degree (15:25) so that the 116th Congress, congressional matters, and court cases are suggested by Saturn the lawmaker and 'legal eagle'. There are two applying Ptolemaic (major) aspects of chart-ruler Saturn: sextile Neptune (0A32; ideas made real) and conjunct Pluto (5A18; situations too large to handle, power and control issues, lack of resources--points toward the Saturn-Pluto Conjunction of January 12, 2020). And with Saturn the traditional ruler of Aquarius, the Lesson-Bringer has something to say about finances with the 2nd cusp @26AQ26, a Zodiacal position which most astrologers use for US natal Moon (We The People).

Now in the November 2, 2019 chart, the Moon's South Node, a separative Saturnian point rather than a planet, has risen @10Cap37 with North Node @10Can37 opposite in 6th house and precisely pointing toward the 3 North Solar Eclipse of July 2, 2019 (America's 'birthday gift eclipse' with eclipse Jupiter the engine of a Locomotive shape of planets = a high-powered executive demanding success). This eclipse has been discussed here more than once so I'll not repeat except to say again that 10Can37 falls between US Jupiter and Sun and 3 North's initial manifestation occurred October 991 @22Libra. Perhaps Trump's newly announced tariffs on Mexico (starting June 10th) will have crashed or depressed global markets by or before the July 2nd eclipse for as you know, the 'King of Debt' likes to play around with risky finances as long as he can use other people's money. Plus, 'wild card' eclipse influences on events can begin as early as two weeks prior to its date of perfection--and June 10th is quite near that range and gives time for the effects of tariffs on Mexico to be felt (yet as with China, US consumers will 'pay the price', not Mexico; who's he trying to punish?). And whether Trump's tariff plan will improve America's immigration situation (also a province of Jupiter!) remains to be seen.

But as with all his antics and ill-conceived notions, we can only hope for the best as Uranian Trump careens his chaotic way through our lives and fortunes, collateral damage be da*ned. Selfishly, he believes it tends to 'benefit' him when others have to pay. Wonder if he's ever heard of karma?!

Moon Greets Pluto: Intense Rage, Morbid Thoughts, a Hidden Child, or...?

Next let's consider another prominent cosmic condition in the Jupiter Return November 2, 2019 chart: that Moon and Pluto rise together just after karmic Saturn and are closely conjoined upon the critical degree of 20 Capricorn. In Politics and Business, the Moon-Pluto pair suggests potentials for: the role of women in controlling self-destructive impulses; popular promises concerning an end to war, waste, etc; the public's opinions on crime, war, and/or internal secrecy; people who are doubtful about how to exert proper controls on criminal or terrorist elements (ex: impeachment); crime and violence are encouraged; obsessions which bring misuse of available resources for country and/or business purposes (paraphrasing Midpoints: Unleashing the Power of the Planets, Michael Munkasey).

Then there's the Sun @9Sco57 conjunct MC 8Sco01--trining Neptune (6A08) and North Node (0A20 and thus trining the July 2nd Cancer eclipse), and recently opposing Uranus Rx (4Tau23 in 3rd house). To me these aspects suggest that all is not negative in the November 2nd chart for inspiration is available, covert activities (Scorpio!) can prosper, mysteries attract attention, public contacts and publicity are favorable, and yet recent fund-raising and group endeavors did not transpire or turn out as expected. And we know that Uranus in Taurus suggests speculation and/or looking for unusual or untapped sources of finance.

In closing, let's have a brief peek at the pragmatic Water-Earth Sun Scorpio-Moon Capricorn cosmic weather of the very day that transit Jupiter returns to his position in the Spring Equinox 2019 Horoscope:

This particular Water-Earth blend is committed, tough, courageous, and enigmatic with a dark, brooding intensity and the purposeful demeanor of a natural leader. An exacting personal integrity may be noticed while a deep urge to play detective, then act as judge, upon the 'wrongs' of others may hold sway. This combination of energies often leads to legal and/or political work and of course, lawyers often enter politics, as we know, for material security and power-grabbing are often important goals of this blend.

Now here are three famous natives who were born under the influence of Sun Scorpio-Moon Capricorn so perhaps famous quotes from them will inform us concerning our topic. March 2019 Full Moon: the Mueller Report is submitted!

In a previous post we considered the March 2019 Lunations of Crisis including the Full Moon @00Lib09 conjunct US natal Midheaven which perfected on March 20, 2019 at 9:42:45 pm edt in Washington DC. This lunation of culmination, fulfillment, and awareness may be credited with the just-announced last evening (3/22/19) submission of the Mueller Report to AG Bob Barr. At least that's how yours truly looks at the timing of the report we've all been breathlessly awaiting! Follow the link to view the DC Horoscope of the Full Moon, plus, a view of the March 6, 2019 New Moon @15Pis47 conjunct shady, obfuscating Neptune strong in its own sign of secretive Pisces. Of course, astrological Neptune is also the planet of the mass media and the masses, who both demand to see the full report with no edits.

Also note the karmic YOD (Finger of Fate) in the horoscope, a pattern known for timing such potentials as: crises, turning points, crossroads, and special tasks--here, pointing toward the transiting North Node in Cancer which in turn points toward America's natal Mercury Rx--it's Sabian Symbol (25Cancer): "A Dark Shadow or Mantle Thrown Suddenly Over the Right Shoulder...keyword: DESTINY. Positive expression: some dramatic manifestation of genius vital to the general welfare of man; negative (unconscious/shadow side--jc): "a tendency toward unwarranted presumption if not outright megalomania." Previously we discussed the DC Horoscope of Spring Equinox 2019 with a late-Virgo Moon rising (chart shown) and floating toward the March 21, 2019 Full Moon @00Lib09 (see link, below) which perfects upon America's natal Midheaven (MC = The Goal; Aspirations). Given the bright light of a Full Moon, this lunation should be interesting for its ability to shine a spotlight upon career and other public 10th house matters as perpetrated by the US government and its current 'leader' Donald Trump, The Unprepared Grifter and choice of racists everywhere. His 'world stage' activities are spotlighted this week by the current position of his testy, hypersensitive rising planet--and perhaps more defections from the 'Trump Party' will ensue.

This cosmic condition of full awareness is emphasized by the fact that in the Spring Equinox 2019 chart, Mars @23Tau08 ruffles the natal MC of Trump and suggests that he's entered a period of energetic self-promotion (more than before? impossible!) during which his demands for public recognition may increase (!) including attention from other public figures of authority (ex: despots he idolizes--and/or possibly Speaker Nancy Pelosi whose Mars Return it is!). Mars-to-Midheaven may also bring more scrutiny upon his activities, positively or negatively, and on actions of his male relatives (exs: Kushner, Don Jr, his racist father Fred). Launching some new sort of campaign is within the realm of possibilities as well (ex: a Twitter attack on a newly chosen victim-opponent?), while going to extremes cannot be ruled out especially since this describes Trump's usual way of behaving. And of course, the US Military, the movement of forces, police activation or issues, and/or veterans' affairs may also be part of his Mars-to-MC picture this week. Of course, we may expect his rage level to be increased by the fact that the furious star of violence, Algol, twinkles menacingly upon Trump's natal Midheaven.

Note that with its two-year cycle, the last time transit Mars conjoined Trump's natal MC was in April 2017; the end of April 2017 marked the end of Trump's 'first 100 days' in the Oval Office.

Now readers familiar with the natal chart of Donald Trump see the position of Mars @23Taurus as lining up to square his natal Mars (exact on March 26, 2019). This is a time when his strong survival instinct becomes even more obvious (and needed!) along with his tendency toward self-preservation-at-any-cost. Even less diplomacy than usual may be evident for the focus will be on aggression, anger, frustration, conflicts, battles, possible construction faults, and even accidents and/or injuries. Add to this transit Mars square Trump's natal Ascendant on March 30, 2019, and we have more ego conflicts, battles for top position, pushy behavior, open confrontations, social tension, and the potential for physical strain.

Then by the time transit Mars reaches his 10th house trio of Uranus (danger of blow-ups; forcing or enforcing changes), North Node (meeting with or encountering males; meetings full of conflict; anger shown in public), and Sun (risky situations, direct confrontations, vitality, energy) just after opposing his natal Moon in Sagittarius (May 2, 2019), we may all be worn out by - or simply fed up with - the anger and rage of Donald Trump.

Is There a Silver Lining for Trump in 2019?

December 22, 2019: with Christmas prep in full swing and out-of-town guests expected soon, plus, the fact that multiple major events will transpire between now and September, I shall venture a peek at the September 28, 2019 New Moon Horoscope set for the Capitol Building, Washington DC. Many of my thoughts on this significant New Moon in relation to Donald Trump are penned upon the chart if you don't mind enlarging the image to read them but below are a few chart details that stand out to me.

The New Moon @5Lib20 (9th house) conjoins the natal 2nd house Neptune (5Lib55) of Mr. Trump who, one assumes, may still inhabit the Oval Office in September 2019. Seeds are being planted which may blossom around the time of the next Full Moon of October 13, 2019 @20Ari14, a critical-crisis degree. Other potentials in the New Moon chart include a 'silver lining' (Jupiter-n Uranus = tr Neptune) or one who is guided by 'false perceptions' which Big T certainly is, and of course, both potentials can apply.

Asteroid Nemesis (divine retribution; the unbeatable foe) conjoins Trump's natal Ascendant in 8th house, and rising at the New Moon is transit Saturn conjunct South Node, a doubly karmic indicator of reaping what was sown in the past--perhaps that's a depressive cosmic indicator for our sabotaged America.

And there's powerful manipulator Pluto with his 'hidden wealth' following at a critical-crisis degree (20Cap). Pluto in 1st house = large-scale events that no one person can control.

Naturally, this difficult Saturn-SN-Pluto trio in 1st house conjures an image of the January 12, 2020 Saturn-Pluto Conjunction which will conjunct the natal Vertex of Donald Trump with fated undertones which may denote a meeting with karma and/or may also suggest his release from presidential responsibilities with little if any damage--through resignation, impeachment, indictment, and/or an ill-deserved pardon for his crimes. Or is death suggested by Saturn-Pluto = natal Vertex? Well, that's for a Higher Authority to decide, not this lowly novice astrologer!

Other notables are the September 28, 2019 transits shown in the chart which conjoin or oppose the natal planets of Mr. Trump whose natal placements are highlighted in lavender pink, outer. Besides New Moon conjunct his natal 2nd house Neptune (a new cycle of shady finances or a financial revelation hidden until the next Full Moon?), natal Jupiter and his guiding planet, Uranus, are triggered by transit Venus (17Lib38) to Jupiter (exaggeration, overindulgence, or the 'good life' calling) and transit Jupiter opposing natal Uranus (exact 3 times in 2019: February 1, June 23, and September 28, as you see--a transit of sudden changes in career, routine, and/or relationships, a longing for greener pastures or golf courses, and nervous feelings as responsibilities and other people present obstacles, limitations, and restrictions.)

As you see, transit North Node @13Can53 conjoins the US natal Sun and suggests the US presidency in the spotlight, plus, 7th house can indicate open enemies which many folks believe can describe Donald Trump. Still, 7th house is the house of Partners and Relationships as well so we'll see if the conjunction denotes significant meetings with POTUS. Then there's US natal Jupiter (5Can56) setting on the New Moon's Descendant (in DC) with Jupiter's Sabian Symbol of "Game Birds Feathering Their Nests," which has always been a pretty good description of Washington politicians in general, don't you think?

Two other difficult 2019 transits for Mr. Trump (not shown in this New Moon chart) which I want to mention are the three times that transit Saturn @17Cap55 will square Trump's natal Jupiter, so strong via its Stationary condition as part of his Neptune-Chiron-Jupiter trio of speculation and grand schemes. This square denotes potentials for that 'down on his luck' feeling (such a martyr!) as Big T's goals and dreams are challenged or limited by responsibilities and/or by authorities--perhaps, legal eagle Saturn will finally demand accountability if he (Mr. Mueller) hasn't already! The three exact 'hits' perfect all through 2019 on: February 25, July 6, and November 25, 2019.

And we mustn't forget the ego-deflation of transit Jupiter opposing Trump's natal Sun (@22Gem55 in natal 10th house of Career and Public Status) three times in 2019 on March 11, May 11, and October 29. Problems include overreach, depleted finances, and others who steer him in the wrong direction (as Fox News heads already do). Opposing forces restrict and principles are compromised (if he held any) during 2019.

Of course, other important transits will affect Donald Trump's natal chart during 2019, some positive, some negative, but they must be for another post or two. Hopefully, you'll stay tuned for them and for other posts to be published as soon as my schedule allows including 2019 eclipse details. Horoscope: Spring Equinox 2019 - Virgo Moon Rising

And we should mention that Donald Trump's natal Neptune @6Libra is his 'first to rise' planet at Spring Equinox 2019 bringing along his expansive, inflationary trio of Neptune-Chiron-Jupiter of speculation and schemes.

Lower right is a Note: Speaker of the House Pelosi's Mars Return (25Taurus) occurs on or about March 25, 2019 beginning a new 2-year cycle of activity for her with the House as of January 2019 ruled by congressional Democrats. Interestingly, the Moon leads a Locomotive shape of all the planets in the chart indicating a ruthless drive toward success by an executive--is this Speaker Pelosi representing the Democrats, plus, We The People? I suspect on one level 'tis She of The Gavel. Yet the Moon's Sabian Symbol suggests otherwise: '28Virgo' = "A Bald-Headed Man Dominates a Gathering of National Figures." Trump is balding, so obviously Spring 2019 is gonna be Trump vs Pelosi for the duration of the year (Aries Ingresses symbolize entire years) with a Virgo Moon signifying practicality and methodical procedures. Also see the Sabian Symbol of the Sun ('1Aries') at the top of the horoscope - America's Great Seal is hinted at along with the Founders' pagan worship of goddess Venus.

Future Direction: 11th house North Node in Cancer (conjunct US natal Mercury Rx) denotes contacts, meetings, and encounters of a Cancerian nature which includes; business, security, family, and domestic matters along with Cancer's penchant for tribalism (ex: Trump's 'nationalism'.)

Eclipse-wise, Spring Equinox 2019's Prenatal Solar Eclipse ('PE') manifested on January 6, 2019 @15Cap25 (2 South: 'joining a new or unusual group and gaining a great deal' - Brady; perfect for new Congress members). The PE conjuncts the 5th cusp of this horoscope (15Cap51)--5th house = risk-taking, speculation, creative pursuits, children (such as the ones Trump cages and tear gases). The Equinox 2019's Syzygy Moon, a New Moon, occurs on March 6, 2019 @15Pis47 conjunct Neptune = illusions, delusions, illusions, pretense, and disguises. This may denote a new cycle of deception beginning for or by the Trump administration or the seeding (New Moon) of them. Either way we'll know more very soon by the bright light of the next Full Moon @00Lib09 (March 21st) which conjoins the natal MC of the US natal chart (5:09 pm lmt) with the Sun @00Ari09 conjunct our national IC, the Foundation of the Matter, but also The Drain and the HOW? Point. America's public status and reputation in the world should be in the spotlight more than usual around that time, such as they are thanks to asset Trump and the Kremlin. (Have you ever wondered if Melania is actually Trump's handler?)

Good news is that protective Jupiter in his own sign of Sagittarius is in the 4th house of Domestic Scene, Real Estate, and Mining which happily is ruled via Sag by moneybags Jupiter, the financier, politician, guru, broadcaster, and The General. Between February 20th and 23rd, transit Jupiter passes over Trump's natal South-Node-Moon conjunction (20-22Sag), a real mixture of both positive and negative feelings (Moon) for him (will he relocate back to NYC? it's a transit of 'conflicts of interest' plus, 'happiness' - and he misses his penthouse so!). Yet if we look below the surface, we find the Hopi Blue Star of Prophecy, Ras Alhague waiting patiently for expression--apparently through mouthpiece Donald Trump. Now as you see, unpredictable Uranus @00Tau41 (a degree of violence--Devore; and Hitler's natal Sun degree) is in the corporate 8th house of Shared Finances, Credit/Debt/Insurance, Death, Transformation, and the Occult, and is unaspected which emphasizes the detached, isolated quality of astrological Uranus, the chaos-creator (and Trump's guiding planet). Disruptions, shocks, or upsets may occur. And when unmodulated by aspects from other planets, quirky Uranus's energies are difficult for any individual to handle and denotes one who acts independently of outside influences, is restless, nervous, and discontent. There may be spurts or flashes of genius (positively or negatively) in the house (area of life) where Uranus is located. Then with Venus in detached Aquarius, Uranus has something to say about finances (8th house) of such things as the military, police, and civil services (6th house), and about perspective (Venus). Even health issues could be in the Uranian barrel (6th house) especially since the Venus-Uranus pair when acting negatively tends to indicate extravagance and waste. One is reminded of the sad state of America's Veterans Administration along with the EPA and every other government department suffering underneath the hefty Trump.

Yes, there are a many other chart factors worth mentioning here but I shall keep to my aim that this be a post, not a book, and shall leave them for you, dear reader, to admire. However, of special interest is the 5th house Saturn-Pluto conjunction which perfects @22Cap46 on January 12, 2020 - conjunct the natal Vertex of Donald J. Trump. Yet in this 2019 Equinox horoscope, Pluto @22Cap51 already conjoins Trump's Vertex, a point in Astrology of 'fated encounters' or 'appointments with fate'. This may suggest a meeting between Trump and one of his idolized dictators or it could suggest a cosmic picture of something even more sinister, something that's been brewing for a long time in that karmic reap what's been sown sort of way.

For there is one thing everyone in the Universe agrees on: the piper must always be paid!

Added is a significant date: April 5, 2019 when my Solar Fire Gold v9 software says is the exact conjunction by transit of Pluto and the South Node of the Moon, a Saturnian point of separation (with a potential for neurosis). The Pluto-SN cycle can time issues of war and violence within the Collective so a difficult period may be expected.

In addition, zealous anarchist and disruptive chaos agent Uranus @00Tau41 in the Spring Equinox 2019 chart conjoins Hitler's Trigger Degree of violence (his natal Sun degree which, when activated by planetary transit during his lifetime, inspired violent behavior, and as you know, Taurus is a sign of intolerance: Uranus in Taurus = premature action leads to failure; risking all in one go; speculation--Ebertin).

Both charts show a Locomotive shape of success and power with the changeable Virgo Moon leading the engine in Spring 2019 and expansive Jupiter in its own sign of Sagittarius leading the train into Summer.

Also, both seasons are influenced by the same Solar Eclipse Saros Series, the 2 South, which manifests on January 6, 2019 @15Cap25. More about that in a later post. Then as you see, transit Saturn and Pluto near one another but their Great Conjunction won't perfect until January 12, 2020 @22Cap46. Until then the world is mired within their current cycle which began with the Reagan-era conjunction of November 8, 1982 @27Lib36, 1 degree from the position of the tomorrow's New Moon October 19, 2017 @26Lib35 which times a controversial public speaking engagement by a White Supremacist Richard Spencer whose organization rented a venue for the occasion on the University of Florida campus. As you know, Saturn-Pluto blending their energies = brutality, cruelty, tragedy, violence.
