The following is a copy-paste from a previous post on my WordPress blog and was written back in those early, heady days of the Obama administration when the future seemed to stretch out in front of us like...like a VOC Moon sailing without interference toward a previously determined port.

As you know, the Moon in Mundane Astrology = the people, or, the populace...so in the US, it's We-The-People, and also relates to moods and popular trends.

Now my suspicion is that Alphee Lavoie's interpretation of a VOC Moon (see below) applies quite closely to the presidency of Barack Obama--except for the "nothing to worry about" part--for with transnational globalist banksters and gangsters in charge and calling the political tune, we have a lot of challenges to face, as has become extremely apparent.

Now here's the post on Inauguration 2009's VOC Moon in Scorpio, sign of regeneration, but also of betrayal. See what you think at this later date as the Obama admininstration rolls along--no edits have been made so there may be typos:

Since the Moon 29Sco45 for Jan 20, 2009, noon EST, Capitol Building, Washington DC, applies to no major (Ptolemaic) aspect with another planet while the Moon remains in Scorpio, it is being considered as having no course, or is ‘void of course’.

Indications for a VOC Moon are: impediments; things will not come to a good end except with great toil and trouble; good time for festivities (Bonatus); matters go hardly unless Moon is in Taurus, Cancer, Sagittarius, or Pisces; business seldom goes ‘handsomely forward’; nothing will come of the matter; no significant changes (Lilly.)

Yet in modern terms, Alphee Lavoie says that a VOC Moon means that a conclusion is already manifested, the outcome is already known, and/or there’s ‘nothing to worry about’!

One reason to hope for the best come Inauguration Day 2009 is that modern interpretations take into account whether the VOC Moon is applying closely with other planets from the sign she’s in – such as we see with Jan 20′s Moon sextiling the 10th house Sun/Mercury conjunction 00AQ+…which also happens to be Barack Obama’s natal Jupiter degree.

Well, we know that 29 degrees of any sign is a Critical/Crisis Degree and in the case of 2009′s Inaugural Moon in Scorpio, I’m relating the Moon’s condition (VOC) and degree (29) to the financial and medical crises the American people continue to suffer ungladly.

Plus, spying and surveillance relate to Scorpio, along with Big Finance, and for certain a whole lotta surveillance will be going on in the inaugural city, and a whole pack of till-raiding financial crooks are on the loose.

So…nothing to worry about? Dunno about that although some folk seem to feel (unrealistically) that having Obama, a Democrat, in the White House will solve everything. At least he isn’t a dratted Republican, right?

Will this Moon’s condition make the down-to-earth transit of restrictive Saturn to US natal Neptune (ideals; dreams) more of a shock…or will it bring solidity and realization (Saturn) to our ideals and dreams (Neptune)? (Saturn to US Neptune August-Sept 2009.)

But I suspect 2009′s Inaugural Moon is reaching forward into Sagittarius (which sextiles Aquarius) toward the change and hope of a new presidency’s promise to put the American people’s needs first in line over monied interests. Sextiles are aspects of opportunity, but willing efforts must be made in order to benefit from them.

Whether the ‘reaching forward’ results in eventual improvements for we-the-people is a question for the future to answer.

That there will be delays and difficulties in implementing plans is a given, but I pray the ineffectuality of a traditional VOC Moon doesn’t rule the day or the modern presidential term of Barack Obama which will be served, we hope, on behalf of we-the-people.

Oct 28, 2011: turns out that the majority of the reaching forward is being done by patriots--most of them of the younger generation--the demonstrators in the Occupy Wall Street Movement (aka, We Are the 99%) along with the other protests and sit-ins being done in solidarity across the country and the globe, and asking for the ('30 Scorpio') "Halloween Jester" phase of US politics to be put aside for good as we demand that the US government remembers from whence their only true power comes--not from shareholders, CEOs, or monarchists--but from the willing consent of We-The-People.

You may also wish to review the horoscope of the Solar Eclipse which forever marks the presidency of Barack Obama, what I've called the New President Eclipse of January 26, 2009 at 6AQ30--conjunct US natal South Node (SN) of the Moon, a separative, Saturn-ruled point where cosmic energy rushes or is drained out rather than new energy being infused into the proceedings.

But then, Mr. Obama has lofty connections and wealthy backers to neutralize or cushion problems indicated by the bend-or-break Saturn-Uranus opposition which was in effect on Election Day 2008 as well as in January 2009. Was it to be the status quo of Saturn or the progress of Uranus? I decided Mr. Obama's natal Saturn Rx in its own staid sign of Capricorn would lean him toward the status quo though his Aquarian Jupiter, also Rx, may idealize toward other directions.

Plus, the January 2009 Solar Eclipse degree (6AQ30) is the zodiacal position of transiting Neptune on the morning of 9/11/01 and qualifies as a Neptune Return since the religion of Islam was founded when Neptune was within that range of Aquarius.

Wouldn't it be wonderful if America could shake the dust of George Bush off her sandals once and for all? But alas, Dubya's shadow continues embroiling our nation with wars, torture, and grief, yet the latest example of Bush's lingering influence is the devil's deal President Obama has struck with the GOP ('Greedy' Old Party, as everyone knows) to extend the Bush tax cuts for the wealthiest 2% in spite of all common sense.

Guess now that Mr. Obama is outfoxed once again by ideologue Republicans (who don't worry one bit about 'the deficit' when it's them and their buds getting money they'll sock away, not spend), we may now look forward to 2011 as the year the wealthy class, so favored by the White House, set about creating millions of new jobs which the tax cut extension will - the GOP has implied - make so very very possible going forward!

Well, here's the DailyKos petition you may wish to sign protesting this unconscionable move which will add $700 billion to the national debt and lead to what can only be described as dubious improvement for the US economy. For as many people have pointed out, the wealthy class in America had years of lower tax rates under Bush-Cheney during which they could have created US jobs but I think we all know that they did just the opposite which in part has lead to the financial condition our nation is in today.

As DailyKos points out, the same people who are shoving the 'need' for a tax cut extension for the well-to-do are the same varmints who will oppose raising the debt ceiling to pay for it so that their decades-long 'undo entitlements' agenda will unravel the social fabric more than they already have as it proceeds against Social Security, Medicare, and Medicaid.

And thus, the class warfare of Pluto/Chiron grinds on with the plutocratic duo's midpoint tellingly at MC (Goal Point) of the Inauguration 2009 horoscope. Who's side is Mr. Obama on?, we might ask.

The degree of the NWO's natal Sun 1Sco19 (Oct 24, 2993) is important as well and is in the same degree as the United Nations' Sun 1Sco07 (Oct 24, 1945); consider one of the UN's midpoint pictures - Uranus/Neptune = Pluto: catastrophes, great losses, calamities, the necessity to give in.

That the newly minted tax cut extension is a welfare program brought to GOP fatcats compliments of the US government doesn't tally well with the upper crust's typical view of themselves, so mum's the word.

These are the fatcats, their relatives, and supporters who turned out in force to vote on Nov 2, 2010 so that this sort of legislation could happen for the benefit of the 2% with scr*wing the 98% the GOP's long-planned goal. We might be forgiven for saying that the Dems are in league with this goal, for on Capitol Hill, it isn't politicians' words and mild protests that count, it's how things actually turn out and the ultimate consequences for we-the-people. Now we see how the tax cut extension will turn out: as a win-win for the wealthy while the deficit is enlarged for no good reason.

This forced showdown on tax cuts has the added bonus for the GOP of further undermining the authority and presidency of Barack Obama which demonstrates that sabotage is alive and well in Washington DC, along with its handmaiden, blackmail.

Tsk tsk!

So if you, dear reader, are not one of the fatcats, remember that you were advised to turn out for the Democrats - and for yourself - on Nov 2. And yes, the Democratic Party is disappointing as well, but they do occasionally make efforts on behalf of the 98%.

So my question for both of you is: will the GOP use this opportunity, this tax gift, to create jobs for America's middle class in 2011 and thus win their thankful votes and praise in 2012? Or will the collapse and restructuring of American society continue unabated?

Inauguration 2009: Pluto/Chiron = Midheaven

Today as I organized my papers, charts, magazines, and Astrology books, I ran across a copy of Dell Horoscope Magazine from December 2002 with an article on Chiron authored by Canadian astrologer Roderick Benns.

A tidbit within the article caught my Political Astrology eye, for it intimately concerns the Inauguration 2009 horoscope's Midheaven (Mc), the Goal-Aspiration Point of any horoscope.

Here I quote Mr. Benns' analysis of the midpoint picture Pluto/Chiron = Mc, which was in effect on January 20, 2009 noon at the Capitol Building in Washington DC, with noon being the official time that an old administration ends and a new one begins. In this case, we speak, of course, of the presidency of Barack Obama and of the status (10th house) of the United States of America...

"Pluto/Chiron = Mc: status in life challenged or wounded by necessary transformation of perspective."

For comparison, Bush Inauguration 2001 had Pluto/Chiron @ 19Sag02 from the Pluto-Moon-Chiron line-up in 8th house of Transformation, Death, Debt, and Big Business which gave us: Pluto/Chiron = Moon (we-the-people); his 2005 Inauguration had Pluto/Chiron @ 10Cap21 showing the oppression-plutocracy duo's midpoint as it progressed in transit closer to US Inaugural Mc in the 26/27 degree range of Capricorn...a process well-described by Astrology.

Now the world-bank-engineered Financial Collapse 2008 has certainly brought a new perspective to most Americans concerning our nation's place in the world (which is what the 10th house is all about.) But why is America's collapse deemed to be necessary? As part of an agenda now 'marching' the planet toward a New World Order (sometimes referred to as a 'new economic world order'.)

That's why we hear many hints of currency collapse and devaluation in the news these days which have big implications for the US dollar losing its place as the global reserve currency. And 2011 seems to be a pivotal year, if my astrological studies (and those of others) are correct.

So here's a previous post with famous quotes concerning the NWO and a link to one-world-government promoter David Rockfeller's statement about how we're being "marched" toward it; this describes a very long-term process.

But no, a so-called NWO is not a given, folks, at least not in the form they wish: totalitarian control and global serfdom for the people after 'population control' (genocide) has been accomplished on a scale we cannot now imagine. This will leave more natural resources for the survivors, as you may know - the select few the power elite deem worthy.

All of this NWO madness is one of the main reasons I spend many hours blogging in complimentary fashion while hoping that a few readers will pass around the info so that all may have a chance to become aware of the false reality the power elite has created to keep our attention diverted from what they're up to - and their ploy very much includes the entertainment industry and its decades-long lowering of our moral standards.

After all, TV didn't put 'Survivor' (as in, survival of the fittest, an obvious shout-out to Darwin's theory) on the air years ago and call it a 'hit' for nothing.

For as former President Franklin Delano Roosevelt informed us - and a truism followed by this blog's populist slant...

"In politics, nothing happens by accident. If it happens, you can bet it was planned that way."

More instructive quotes for America 2010/2011 from FDR who obviously, unlike most of today's politicians, knew the difference between man made laws and the natural laws of the universe:

Got 'resolution authority'?

Pres. Obama and his team have an idea for stepping in with large financial institutions ahead of crises.

It's being labeled 'resolution authority' which has, we may suspect, an Orwellian flavor which might show its true colors at any moment if the increased governmental authority goes through as planned.

Seems to me it shouldn't be too difficult to intervene ahead of financial crises - especially when they're designed, manufactured, and delivered by the power elite - which will make 'resolution authority' a win-win for the rich and powerful once again.

Yet perhaps the masses will gather a few crumbs from Midas' table just to 'keep hope alive.'

Guess the plutocratic duo of wounded, disenfranchised Chiron and powerful, secretive Pluto - or more specifically their midpoint, an oppressive blending of their energies - at the Goal/Aspiration Point of the Inauguration 2009 chart (Midheaven) is working its 'magic' as more and more control is given to the Fed and to other elected and non-elected entities.

Yes, America's natal Pluto (27Cap33 Rx) is currently being stimulated by the transiting Chiron-Pluto midpoint which makes the timing of the much-touted economic collapse even more suspect to this reluctant astrologer.

So because US natal Pluto is retrograde, I got to wondering when America had her early Pluto Return to 27Cap33 and found that July 4, 1776 was actually the second pass Pluto made to that exact degree - the Rx pass.

The first time Pluto reached that degree was Feb 25, 1776 (*NS); July 4, 1776 makes #2; the third time qualifies in my book as a Pluto Return: Jan 1, 1777.

These additional dates may mean more to history buffs than to anyone else, but there's more Astrology to consider...

Our nation's Pluto Return of Jan 1, 1777 falls into the 13 North Solar Eclipse Series which was, in fact, the Initial Eclipse in the 13N Series at '23Leo' (conjunct Venus.) This Series will next manifest at '14Cap' opposite US natal Sun on Jan 4, 2011.

Sun opposite Sun is a time when priorities and plans should be reviewed and revamped, if necessary, to be certain that goals are being targeted correctly.

On this blog or on Jude's Threshold I have previously commented that the 13N Series seems to describe the founding of America better than the actual Series into which 'July 4, 1776' falls, the **12 South - and the Declaration of Independence was missing some signatures until August, 1776. Eclipses are 'wild cards' and may influence events for two weeks prior or after their actual date of occurrence.)

Obama Stimulus Bill ok'd AIG bonuses

Thanks to Jax, a reader at Jude's Threshold, I have a link for you to a Fox News video and article concerning the fact that Obama'a Stimulus Bill explicitly grants AIG bonuses as inserted by Sen. Chris Dodd.

Be sure to scroll down for the mocked-up active pic of the primary recipients of AIG campaign donations riding in what favors a dune buggy, sodas in hand...it'd be hilarious if the circumstances weren't so undermining for America.

You know the Inauguration 2009 chart wasn't so marvelous with its Mercury Rx under the Sun's rays, etc...now that Venus in Aries is Rx, money is being requested to be returned (Rx = re-this and re-that) and Venus, one of the money planets, was in confusing Pisces on Inauguration Day...near quirky, willful Uranus.

The Venus-Uranus pair often indicates being erratic, extravagant, or wasteful with money.

And with May 27 being the first of 2009's three conjunctions of Jupiter (large amounts of money) with inflationary, veiling Neptune, planet of excess liquidity, the entire year will be about speculations and large promises not so easily kept.

Once again, here's the midpoint picture of the Jupiter-Neptune conjunction which lands all three times on US natal Moon (we-the-people in our national chart):

Jup-Nep = Moon: going with the wind; dreaminess; little sense of reality; losing oneself in plans; becoming involved in speculation, instability, wastefulness.

And so far, 2009 is panning out exactly as the above midpoint pic describes, don't you think?
