Related: Social Democracy Is 100% American (video), and Bernie Sanders' Sun Virgo-Moon Aries personality blend. Unconsciously I neglected to add that his natal Sun is veiled by America's natal Neptune (22Virgo) which negatively can denote that the public can't see clearly who or what he really is. On another level it can indicate the large audiences (Neptune) he's commanding during the 2016 campaign with Neptune (the masses, the media, photography, films, illusion) clouding or glamorizing his image and/or possibly hiding what his goal actually is (Sun)--or more simply, he shines (is popular) with the public.

How can his motives and purpose be obscure, suspicious astrologer, you ask? It can be if Senator Sanders is running for president in order to be a mouthpiece--to express the frustration so many Americans feel and think about government--while those in charge of counting the votes have no intention of allowing a Social Democrat in the Oval Office--unless he can be used for their purposes to rally the masses into Marxism.

And given current events such as the big 'climate change' summit in Paris this week and the steady dribble of US soldiers now being sent back to Iraq and elsewhere, I wonder how many of us realize that we're seeing before our eyes (though propagandized as something other than what it is) the waging of a World War meant to take charge of the entire planet? Masses of the homeless forced to shift across the globe, hunger that doesn't have to be the case--population control measures are being perfected based on past efforts.

Now I know that more and more people are realizing that the engineered East vs West conflict is more than Washington is tellin' us as of yet and maybe the rest of us will wake up once the 19 North Solar Eclipse manifests on September 1, 2016 @9Virgo with its themes of realism, coming down to earth, tackling the truth, and becoming aware of an old situation and seeing it for what it really is (Brady.) Lied into war is an old situation, isn't it? Aggressors pretending it's the other guy, not us is a tiresome tactic old as the hills, agreed? Wonder if the power elite and their bosses know how transparent their draconian plans have become? Or is the transparency only part of their fear mongering? Such thespian classes politicians must take!

Plus, as you see by the date of the 2016 eclipse, it is the Pre-Natal Saros Series of both Election 2016 (Nov) and of Inauguration 2017 (Jan) which means that its themes will affect both events including the first term or duration of the new presidency (and the second term if there should be one.) Maybe this means that a "truth teller" will somehow land in the White House! Well, at this point "truth teller" seems to refer to either Bernie's mostly unvarnished truth--or Donald's Mercurial-Neptunian flights of fancy mixed with his stark opinions of the stream-of-consciousness variety.

Currently a SO'W post is in the planning stages concerning the Republican Party and its natal horoscope which I hope to publish by the weekend or before. So as I study the party's horoscope and its Venus-Saturn conjunction in Mercury-ruled Gemini, the above video popped out at me because of its topic of the GOP's hypocrisy concerning what Republicans call "family values" and the lip service they pay to such a decent concept while they continue proposing and/or passing a legislative agenda that works against American families and the basic need everyone has for leading civilized, dignified lives.

In Midpoints: Unleashing the Power of the Planets, Michael Munkasey gives one potential of the Venus-Saturn combination of energies in political and business realms as "restrictions on the way society is able to function" which sounds descriptive of the issues mentioned above in Senator Sanders' message as read by Thom Hartmann who then calls up Harry Truman who similarly spotlighted the Republican Party back in the day.

And since you know the basic imperatives in Mundane Astrology of relational, values-based Venus and authoritative, conservative, flaw-finding Saturn, planet of business, law, and government--and if you follow and/or suffer from US politics particularly where Republicans are concerned--you just might agree that the party's natal Venus-Saturn conjunction indicates that there has been from the start (1854) a serious flaw within their value system. Coldness or rigidity in relationships, plus, a cheap streak when it comes to the comfort of others may also apply.

On one level, such psychological weaknesses are shown by their irrational attitudes, meddling in the business of others, and restrictive actions that identify them as having an obsessive, regressive ideal of womanhood which to the modern women I know is more misogynist than chivalrous, more oppressive, egotistical, and paternalistic than protective.

As an entity, the party is made up primarily of curious cusses and hopefully, you will stay tuned for more astrological details about this complex group of politicians who style themselves as 'Republicans' while pretending that their heavy 19th-century baggage of conceit and hatred is tucked out of sight and far away from the minds of voters.

Senator Bernie Sanders: Sun Virgo-Moon Aries

At noon on Bernard Sanders' day of birth (September 8, 1941 Brooklyn, NY), the Moon @19Ari11 neared planet Mars Rx @23Ari41 and natal Sun @15Vir35 neared the Head of the Dragon, the North Node @22Vir43 (future direction). Neptune clocked in @26Vir58 while speedy Mercury had recently moved into Venus-ruled Libra @2:40.

Curiously, since Senator Sanders rails against corporatism, inequality, and plutocrats whenever he has a chance, his natal Pluto @5Leo93 had recently been conjoined by Chiron (9Leo41), a definite marker for plutocrats and their oppressive deeds. You'll remember that Pluto and Chiron last met on December 30, 1999 @11Sag22 and rose in their conjunction horoscope set for Washington DC (@5:52 am EST). This plutocracy pair helped the Solar Eclipse of August 11, 1999 announce the primal violence, terror, corporate empire expansion, exploitation, and pure evil with which the New Millennium has been stained by international financiers, syndicate criminals, and corrupt politicians who follow a police-state Global Government script.

So let's consider the personality blend of Bernie Sanders even though we have no birth time for him. (If you, dear reader know his birth time, please share!)

Sun Virgo-Moon Aries is an Earth-Fire blend which can give a 'scorched earth' quality to his life and temperament. Positively, pragmatism combines with creative spark and off he goes with his natal Mercury, planet of oration, in Libra, the sign that prefers balance and fairness. A preponderance of Virgo energy in his chart resonates well with Washington DC, a city infused with Virgoan energy as can be seen in its many goddess symbols, horoscopes, and Zodiacs sprinkled liberally across the District on architecture and statues.

Another chart factor is that September 8, 1941 was in the midst of a Saturn-Uranus conjunction though out-of-sign with Saturn @28Tau32 and Uranus @00Gem20 Rx. Natal Uranus was hit by a Solar Eclipse on May 20, 2012 @00Gem, an important cosmic event for the senator since Fixed Star Alcyone shines there. Alcyone of the Pleiades is the 'something to cry about' star and also carries a 'mystical but judgmental' implication (Brady; Solar Fire).

Saturn-Uranus conjunction types are not afraid of responsibility, are ambitious to achieve something of importance, and have much to offer the world due to knowledge and understanding. The pair is also related closely to the Middle East and to Israel in particular which spotlights the senator's Jewish heritage. And another aspect is found between his Venus @22Lib17 opposing Mars @23Ari41 Rx denoting relationship issues due to a lack of cooperation, aggression, and great sensitivity.

His natal Venus link to Arcturus by degree is the only White House connection I've noticed in his chart so far but interestingly, transit Jupiter beneficially conjoins his natal Venus @22Libra on Inauguration Day, January 20, 2017! (Arcturus = the White House in the L'Enfant plan of the Federal Triangle; Regulus = the Capitol Building, Spica = the Washington Monument, as previously discussed here.) Yet an opposition from Saturn to his natal Jupiter denotes more failure and a negative period than victory. Still, forcing issues of inequality and other topics into the 2016 debates is said to be his primary motivation and for this I thank him.

How Senator Sanders relates to others is shown by the sign of his Jupiter which is Gemini and hints at versatility, an obliging manner, voluminous communications, and a talent for making social connections (good in Politics!) One negative, however, is a potential for superficiality and recently I've heard radio pundits accusing him of not really caring about the poor. But we must consider the source and the fact that with all the publicity his presidential campaign is receiving he simply must be denigrated by Republicans, mustn't he? Same with Senator Elizabeth Warren. Both of them broadcast too many facts plainly laid out!

With the personally ambitious Sun Virgo-Moon Aries combination of conscious-unconscious energies we find intellectual precision, skill and pragmatism, diligence--and a bossy workaholic. This blend tends to be a self-absorbed and emotionally detached, traits that may be what his critics have focused on in their attempts to undermine him. No, his sharp tongue and superior mental abilities do not suffer fools gladly, yet Vermonters obviously like him and I'm guessing they know Bernie well enough to vote for him multiple times. Plus, note that Moon in Aries is the 'I AM the people" placement which accounts at least partially for the senator's conviction these several years to speak out on behalf of our less fortunate citizens.

Update Mar 31, 2013: thanks to a with-it reader, it's been noted that Wednesday's Libra Full Moon is a perfect descriptor of the week's SCOTUS arguments (Mars) on Marriage (Libra) Equality. What a great observation! Should we include Uranus transiting me-first Aries to denote equality?

Original post begins here, sans marriage references (except for '7th house of Partnerships') even though any full moon may describe relationship issues! And of course, Libra is the sign of Justice's Scales of Balance...

Here you see the horoscope of March 27, 2013's Full Moon at 6Libra52, in 7th house of Partnerships and Open Enemies when the chart is set for Washington DC (Capitol Building):

As you know, Full Moon phases are about relationships and partnerships, awareness (of relationship dynamics and other things), and possible stalemates, a condition the US government has decided to use against We the People.

So not only is the Saturn-Pluto-Jupiter YOD of crises, special tasks, and turning points back within orb (Jupiter @11Gem06 conjunct IC 11Gem20), we find that another YOD is found in the horoscope, or two YODs is we use catalyst Uranus which will close the gap soon as it nears 11Aries (and hits the Full Moon's Mars which may result in high emotions and disruption relating to matters influenced by the March 27th Full Moon.

At YOD's base: a sextile with austere Saturn @10Sco25 Rx posited in the 8th house of Shared Finances, Corporations, Debt, Credit, etc; Saturn's partner in the sextile--and in a mutual reception of friendliness--is Pluto @11Cap30 in 11th house of Groups, Associations, Wishes and Hopes. And visions of austerity where the wealthy are made wealthier, according to Sen. Paul Ryan who again must be reminded that he and his party lost on November 6, 2012. He's tooting the same austerity-for-the-masses horn with his 'budget plan' even though a majority of the American people said No! to his plan on Election Day 2012.

As you see from the Ascending sign and degree--27AQ24--America's natal Moon rises, aka, We the People, and our needs are 'coming up' along with the social program funds (taxes) we paid for years--and pay still, keeping our end of the bargain--which is under threat of being heisted by Washington politicians for the benefit of wealthy one-percenters who prefer their masses standing in long soup lines, too weak and encumbered to shake pitchforks at castle windows.

Issuing from the March 27, 2013 Full Moon horoscope:

Yes, any time there's a Moon rising, it represents unstable conditions with fluctuations and changes afoot. Now let's look at the applying aspects of chart-ruler Saturn and co-ruler Uranus which are in aspect with each other:

Saturn inconjunct Uranus (2A02) indicates problems with priorities and obligations--clearly! A Saturn-Uranus inconjunct (aka, quincunx) was in effect on Election Day 2012 but austere, restricting Saturn was Direct--and the Republican Party's budget ideas were rejected, another Saturnian word. And of course, contracting Saturn is one of the two societal planets, the other being expansive Jupiter, with the tension between them keeping our Solar System's planets in their courses.

A Saturn-Uranus inconjunct (150 degrees) denotes those who try to hold on to the past with all their might and as they desperately try to force old concepts into acceptance rather than new methods and ideas. Since I know this reminds us both of facets of the neanderthal-based Republican 'war on women', I won't mention it other than to mention it. Flexibility is the only cure! Yet Saturn-Uranus is a brittle combination of energies which may break before it bends.

Saturn then applies to a helpful trine (120 degr) with rising Neptune (6A21), an aspect denoting those with enormous responsibilities and which can bring about positive changes in society. This is a willing 'helping hand', in fact, and bodes well if those who wish to obstruct improvement and investment in our society can be somehow pushed out of the way--which is exactly what a majority of us called ourselves doing when we re-elected President Barack Obama in November 2012.

And since a Saturn-Neptune trine relates closely to writers and journalists, I believe we're seeing some effect of the trine when reporters and TV talking heads question more fully the assertions made by interviewees like Paul Ryan. The Media could really help things improve by holding to account politicians and others who spout odd theories and mathematical formulas which do not 'add up'.

Dec 30, 1999's Great Conjunction of Plutocracy's Pluto and Chiron @11Sag

At MC (The Goal Point of any horoscope) is 11Sag20 and the good news is that the Public Sector 10th house is ruled by Jupiter which now moves Direct (since Jan 30, 2013) so financial matters may proceed. Banker Jupiter will soon be out of orb from its conjunction to US natal Uranus 8Gem55 which takes our natal Uranus away from apexhood in the Saturn-Pluto YOD pattern and its midpoint picture I love to hate for we now suffer under its draconian birth pangs:

Saturn-Pluto = n Uranus: brutal efforts to start a new order; an attack, regardless of potential losses. Add Jupiter at apex and we have potentials for: adoption of the austere; trouble with authority; staying out of trouble; trying to save what's left.

Now that's pretty much what the Washington Political Theater is scamming us with at the moment, and have done for decades (taking over America is certain actors' long-term project), or, as some would say, for centuries.

One more thing about the Saturn-Pluto-Jupiter YOD--the Saturn-Pluto midpoint falls at MC in the Mar ch 27th Full Moon chart which denotes: hard hard work to rise from difficulty; major separation as a last resort.

The additional YODs are formed by the Mars-Jupiter sextile which points toward an 8th house Saturn in secretive, spying, business-loving Scorpio so we get a fortunate pair of energies in stress with Mr. Status Quo:

Mars-Jupiter = Saturn: pulling in one's sails; having to toe the line; struggling with impulse.

If we allow for Direct Uranus to enter the scene (and knowing that the disruptive planet of rebellion and anarchy has been within orb of this YOD before) we have:

Planetary Aspects of March 27th's Libra Full Moon

As you see, the March 27th Full Moon in Libra, sign of balance, justice, partnerships, and war, causes lunar fluctuations in relationships while making a few applying aspects. Here's a list of the Full Moon's 5 aspects in order of occurrence with the Luna's natural sign, Cancer, on both the (risk-taking) 5th cusp and the (work-military-health-daily rounds) 6th cusp:

1. Moon opposite Uranus (1A31) indicates emotional and mental stress for The People as many decisions must be made. Resolution can be found but a feeling of being crushed is evident.

2. Moon inconjunct Mercury (2A41) shows more stress (inconjuncts = difficult adjustments) showing emotions (Moon) and intellect (Mercury) interfering with one another; reasonable evaluations are impossible if feelings enter logical thinking, and reactions may be out of all proportion with the truth.

3. Moon trine Jupiter (4A14) with Jupiter conjunct the 4th house's cusp relates to domestic matters, home, and security. Is Jupiter playing his role as guardian angel? Well, we need several if we can get them! And of course, the Real Estate market is said to be improving and we may hear more of this under the rays of the March 27th Full Moon in Venus-ruled Libra--including lawsuits against fraud-committing mortgage lenders. Yet the facts of the cases may remain unclear with Mercury in confused, often deceptive, Pisces. Still, their trine indicates some amount of happiness, good fortune, generosity, and/or glad news especially for those of good character.

4. Moon square Pluto (4A38) is a fly in our improving ointment for it denotes difficulty letting go of the past, plus, blockage (square) from wealthy, stealthy Pluto, manipulator and controller of The Underworld, toward the populace and our reigning needs (Moon) which causes us apprehension, anxiety, and heavy burdens.

Note: dontcha 'love' politicians? They embezzle, misspend, and waste America's financial resources, make huge profits off our hard work, then stick We the People with all their bills, plus, their own fat paychecks.

5. Moon opposite Mars (4A49) indicates opposition from radical reformers and activists (Mars-Uranus) of the 25--35 year-old generation, give or take a year or two. Some politicians, their staffers, and reporters are in this age category though loose canon shooters may be as well, as is the NRA (Mars = weaponry and those who use it.) A Moon-Mars opposition tends to bring crises, criticism, and resentments, with 'hitting back' in anger a definite possibility. Aggression and lack of patience may be noted which lead to quarrels, debates, and emotional outbursts.

So that last aspect is basically Luna joining in with the ongoing generational Uranus-Pluto square in which we again deal with issues we thought were settled by legislation in the 1960s when they last met three times in Great Conjunction at 17 Virgo, a critical-crisis degree. But also remember please to keep your eye on the wormy infestation eating at the core of the US government as it purposefully and willfully creates havoc and chaos in our lives while enriching the wealthy at our expense.

"The American People Are Angry," Sen Bernie Sanders (video)

Here's my favorite Senator from Vermont Bernie Sanders laying it all on the line--from Wall Street to Main Street, from TARP to the Fed's sneaky $16 trillion handed freely to US and foreign big banks and corporations, from Bush's unfunded credit-card wars to cutting Food Stamps, from income inequality to obscene profits for the wealthy, and of course, the disastrous Citizen United decision of the Supreme Court--he covers all this and more on the floor of the House:

You may have noticed that the US Congress won't listen to the voice of the working people, if indeed it ever did. Here, Senator Sanders speaks on behalf of the 15% unemployed, graduating college students with massive debt who can't find a job, and all the rest of us who are not, nor will we ever be, members of the 1% ruling elite. "Cut Social Security, Medicare, and Medicaid" cry the 'deficit hawks'.

As the senator says, "What world are these people living in?"

Deja-Vu Republicans: See If This Economics Theory Sounds Familiar!

Warren G. Harding's administration included Secretary of the Treasury Andrew Mellon who while in office during the 1920s implemented a tax program that lowered the taxes of corporations and large personal incomes based on the theory that such a policy would provide incentives to expand the economy through job-producing and profit-making investments.

Now see? For ages the GOP has bamboozled the American people with the "trickle down" ruse way before Rep. Paul Ryan was a glint in his mama's eye. Ryan's "Path to Prosperity" is somewhat of a rehash of Mellon's theory which worked for a few years, yes, but led us down the garden path to the nasty Crash of 1929.

Yet things are never quite as simple and for such a brief term in office (Harding died suddenly in a San Francisco hotel on August 2, 1923 after 28 months in the Oval Office), Warren G. got quite a lot done though he hadn't time to defend himself from the myriad of scandals which occurred during his term. Was his death at all suspicious? I'll take a peek at the death horoscope and let you know if there's anything curious...

Of course, in 2012 we've already suffered and continue to suffer the Crash of 2008, or, the Fed-enabled Great Bush-Cheney Heist of 2008, as I think of it. Not that these corrupt jokers and blackjack dealers--Dimons, Diamonds, or the rest of the pack--are completely finished with the US economy, cash cow as it's been for them for decades. Because if they were done, they'd have that little 7% of profits the 99% of us must split between us already deposited in their offshore accounts as they continue to steal, embezzle, and create on a computer screen imaginary money out of thin air, the lack of which is meant to keep the masses feeling inferior, needy, and greedy like them.

Now personally, I don't care how much money elites have tucked away in secret lairs and Swiss bank accounts. But I do take great exception to what their unending greed is doing to the elderly, the ill, and to children in America. For me, that is where a moral line must be drawn--step no further, you conscienceless vermin of the *Pluto/Chiron persuasion. So dear reader, please allow Senator Sanders to express these concepts much better than this grumpy blogger does and support his efforts however you can--including becoming very very angry!

We Meet Again: Sen Bernie Sanders w Fed's Ben Bernanke (video 6.7.12)

On June 7, 2012, my favorite senator, Vermont's Bernie Sanders, lightly yet pointedly grilled Fedhead Ben Bernanke and their exchange included cooperation on foxes such as JP Morgan's Jamie Dimon guarding the US henhouse and banks too big for America's own good. Well, I truly hope improvement for the American people comes from Senator Sanders' proposed legislation yet I have my doubts:

One of the mentions from Mr. Bernanke was that Congress set up the Federal Reserve System with big bankers sitting on its board. (That was a bit disengenuous of him but read on.) Well, as a token improvement perhaps Jamie Dimon's tenure on the board may be in question after the recent fiasco (said to have been executed by a trader they call The London Whale--see below) but the big wigs in the Fed's earliest days, both bankers and politicians (as Bernanke obliquely referenced) knew precisely what they were doing--in complete secrecy--and it was on behalf of foreign banks and bankers whose spawn today retain control of the US government by way of a central banking system whose octopal tentacles stretch directly across The Pond to the City of London, a financial entity unto itself.

Now on the night of November 22, 1910, a sealed railway car with shades drawn left a Hoboken NJ train station for an undisclosed location carrying Senator Nelson Aldrich, German banker Paul Warburg, agents of J. P. Morgan, and other wealthy luminaries intent on completing a secret mission. For two weeks they holed up at a private reserve allegedly on a 'duck hunting' jaunt which, as we now know, hunted only total control of America's money and credit, ostensibly in response to the financial Panic of 1907 though the group's lucrative purview has lasted far into the future. Inclusion in the "Jekyll Island Club" was by inheritance with intermarriage an obvious necessity.

The result of their high-handed perfidy, and with transiting Neptune Rx in late Cancer opposing US natal Pluto Rx in late Capricorn (sign of government, law, and business and giving our nation an eroded power vibe) was that on *December 23, 1913, the Federal Reserve Act in the form of a European-directed central banking system was forced upon the American people and it's been bubbles, busts, and rich-get-richer fraud ever since. Hence the pyramid (scheme) with its all-seeing eye of tracking that they placed on 'our' paper money which they print whenever it suits their manipulative purposes.

So after the engineered Collapse of 2008--so similar to the Panic of 1907--does anyone (even the erstwhile Senator Bernie Sanders) honestly believe that control of the US financial henhouse in 2012 will be willingly and graciously shared with citizens serving on the Federal Reserve Board? Will this wimpy yet rigid Congress stand up to the Fed's overarching control? Or is the above exchange merely Politcal Theater meant to soothe the masses who have every right to throw all the bums out?

With certain entities and their agents within our government working hard to collapse America (like a phoenix arising from the ashes of their one-world-government Utopian dream of chaos leading to ultimate control by an unelected few), here is an ice sculpture from a hot June 18, 2011 day in NYC which perfectly illustrates what Senator Bernie Sanders of Vermont said during his filibuster on Capitol Hill, a place where you'd think the American people could expect their grievances to be addressed on a regular basis and their needs and issues to be served.

But no.

Instead, we get performances from the GOP Theater of The Absurd. And all their time-wasting, special-interest promoting and protecting gambits are played in full costume upon our dime and against the best interests of the majority. Their contempt for we-the-people knows no bounds and neither does their greed for more more more money and power, as the Senator correctly notes.

They want to us admit that the US government is "broken" and can no longer serve us--and the GOP ploy is to refuse to serve us. A use of self-fulfilling prophecy doesn't work for this dissenting America. You?

Without right-wing think tank The Heritage Foundation and journalist Stephen Colbert to define what being "poor" in America really means, what would our refrigerator-rich, microwave-oven-infused nation do?

Here's the latest rant from the Heritage Foundation website against "liberals" who cause all of America's problems, didn't you know?! Good thing Bush-Cheney ignored them those 8 years and shoved their neocon-warhawk agenda upon the nation.

You know the Heritage Foundation was incorporated on February 16, 1973 as a reaction against Richard Nixon's 'liberal consensus' tendencies and it's been a neo-conservative thorn in our national side ever since. One of its founders, Paul Weyrich, is the one who said that large voter turn-outs don't help Republicans win elections.

Perhaps that's because a majority of the American people would never vote GOP--against their own best interests--if the truth were told during political campaigns rather than facts being spun and hidden. (Glaringly against our best interests is the 'trigger' mechanism inserted into the 'debt deal' on the Senate's table today. All the GOP has to do is not agree to the 'cuts' list and Americans crash.)

Now few of us would vote Republican if everyone made it to US voting booths and were allowed to cast a ballot. The Weyrich ploy is behind the ongoing and current movement to disenfranchise certain groups of voters with photo ID requirements and other hoops now placed between American citizens and their right to vote for the political brigand of their choice (for even most of the 'good' politicians turn bad when mixed into the corrupt system such as we have.) Votes can, of course, be skewed by miscounts, funky voting machines, and other tiresome, previously un-American tactics employed by both parties but mainly by the success-at-all-costs Republlican Party.

Astro-note on the Senate's session today which began at 9:30 am edt: the trine between Jupiter and Pluto blesses the proceedings and the US natal Pluto/Chiron midpoint was rising and signifying the global banking cartel, powerful religious leaders, US and global plutocrats now collapsing our nation, and an extreme depletion of resources.

But not to fret! Jupiter in Taurus and Pluto in Capricorn are moving in and out of a privileged, futuristic trine these days so we can chillax--for plutocrats aren't the ones who will suffer 'extreme depletion of resources' because that's reserved for those pesky refrigerator-buying, microwave-using "poor" folks of America that we hear so much against and whom Democrats and Republicans are in process of legislating in order to further wound. Population control!

And Pentagon cuts? The Pentagon budget will still be able to grow with inflation so it's part of the ruse, people!

Personally I prefer the ideas of Van Jones and his Rebuild the Dream movement because I do not want neocons back in total control of Washington DC, much less running America off a cliff as they continue the Bush-Cheney trajectory along the path of a New World Order meant to dominate the entire globe.

Well, the Senate's action at noon will occur with Senator Bernie Sanders voting 'no' because the bill is, as he says, "grossly unfair". Agreed.

And what else was rising at 9:30 am edt on Capitol Hill today when the Senate went into their drama-riddled session? America's natal Ceres @ '9 Pisces' (security needs and issues; food/grain supplies and supply chains, etc) which has, since July 4, 1776, had the plutocrats' Pluto/Chiron midpoint conjoining it with its tinges of 'primal violence (which Washington expects when the American people realize the full gist of what's been done against us and hit the streets--peacefully, please!), corporatism, fascism, racism, and other -isms of oppression...basically the "Haves" in the Haves v Have-Nots equation.

Imho, the only planetary pair that describes the elitist US Senate better than Pluto/Chiron would have to be Jupiter/Pluto!

Yet throughout the debt-deal drama in DC, the words--or threat--of Senator Barry Goldwater (Jan 1, 1909; Sun Cap-Moon Tau) keep running through my common-good noggin:

"A government that is big enough to give you all you want is big enough to take it all away."

Even refrigerators and microwaves, it seems--and the food that should go in them.

Dear Obama, Keep SS Off the Table: Sanders and Whitehouse

Considering the Social Security Loathing of the GOP

Well, the Rs get to finally Starve the Beast! But we the American people are self-destructive numbskulls if we allow the corporate elite's handmaidens in Washington DC to steal from Social Security to pay what is really credit card debt run up under three Republican presidents: Reagan, Bush, and W-Bush, as Thom Hartmann points out today. As Thom adds, "Now they don't want to pay the bill!" which mummery we see playing out in the political theater auditorium we call the Capitol Building, that bastion of Freemasonry architecture and futuristic, one-world ideology now so deeply embedded within the US system of government, plus, within our financial, educational, and religious systems.

It's like living inside a very bad sci-fi movie! Or, like an old episode of V.

But there's some good news! Senators Sanders and Whitehouse are attempting to stop the carnage even as President Obama goes all wobbly on the topic of protecting Social Security benefits (the parties seem to be in league with one another to fundamentally change this nation. But I don't believe in the kind of life-threatening changes they're enforcing, do you?)

The negative effects from a failure of the SS safety net program are incalculable and many whippersnappers are tempted to think its demise is not their concern. Yet ripples from a lessening of SS payouts would affect families all over the nation since someone must step up when Granny can't pay her bills or house herself any longer. A myriad of hard consequences will ensue as well along with other negatives from social program cutbacks which the rich class say they simply must depend upon 'at this juncture', poor things.

Now I tend to feel that what's commonly good for All is, by definition, good for The Many. To muddy those waters, we-the-people have been separated from one another by political factions and sloganeering, entertainment and tech gadgets that endlessly fascinate right under our individual noses, corrupted elections, lies into war, and by many other methods used to divide and thus conquer.

And all the while the powers-that-be work tirelessly and lucratively to keep us medicated and our bodily systems and waters so toxic and ill that we don't fully notice or care about what the power elite crowd perpetrates. Of late, you can just ask the Yellowstone River! "The solution to pollution is dilution"? Nope, Exxon-Mobile. Not even close.

Yes, the task of trussing the American turkey is almost completed--so come on, let's Hold Accountable the Raptors Among Us before the oven overheats with our names carved on it! Sure, perp walks may have just gone out of style but that certainly doesn't validate or justify the schemes and fraud of the criminal International Banking Syndicate.

Capricorn season 2011? Pass the Twinkies! And explain the dead birds

Today I've pretty much been hibernating and reading, partly due to the snow and ice still on the lawn and bitter cold in the forecast, partly from recent shocking events which my natal Moon in Pisces often absorbs a little too deeply. Regular breaks from Politics are needed to maintain (or attain?) emotional health and sanity, as most people agree.

Yet I've not been wholly inactive and have spent some lovely time visiting CJ Wright's Auntie Moon blog where her wonderful post Tea Time: In the Brambles with Capricorn lists the perfect things to soothe the energies of Capricorn. Maybe my staid Capricorn Sun helps balance a sympathetic Pisces Moon for Saturn does rule boundaries, and sometimes barriers must be put up in order to counteract the craziness of Politics.

In her article, CJ lists foods and teas that are good for us during the wintry Capricorn season, not just for those with Cap's Saturnian energy prominent in their charts for everyone has the sign Capricorn somewhere in their horoscopes. Plus, the winter season makes for lots of Capricorn energy all around us so a steaming cup of Blackberry Tea (with a Twinkie on the side?) can't far go wrong.

Is WikiLeaks' Julian Assange a CIA plant, a whistle blower with a conscience, or __other__?

What do you think the WikiLeaks embroilment and subsequent calls for Assange's assassination are really all about?

Max Igan explains...how the promised (threatened) release of internal docs from Bank (Robbers) of America is one very good reason why Assange has been pursued and remanded to a Victorian-era jail in London...detained on a dubious complaint without bail (bail hearing next week, I believe.) It's a he-said/she-said situation of mutual interest that the shes didn't want him to be prosecuted for. Trumped up, say ye? Or was his surrender an excuse for Mr. Assange to receive rescue?

Yet you should be advised that Mr. Assange's possible status as a corporate and/or government and/or Vatican shill is under quite a bit of consideration behind the scenes of this blog, and perhaps I may get back to you on that before the worm turns or the jig wheezes out. Plus, we'll want to see if the Vatican comes in for more scrutiny as the weeks go by...or if it, like Israel and Zionism, are given a virtually free pass by WikiLeaks.

Meanwhile, I do hope you'll benefit from watching the above Maxwell Igan video for they always display rather psychedelic, cosmic visuals along with useful informational fare so if possible, take 14 minutes or so of your time to view Igan's presentation while pondering the WikiLeaks Saga - which the media is apparently using as quite a hypnotizing diversion, as Igan points out.

Will Bernie Sanders filibuster GOP tax cuts? (video)

Wouldn't it be wonderful if America could shake the dust of George Bush off her sandals once and for all? But alas, Dubya's shadow continues embroiling our nation with wars, torture, and grief, yet the latest example of Bush's lingering influence is the devil's deal President Obama has struck with the GOP ('Greedy' Old Party, as everyone knows) to extend the Bush tax cuts for the wealthiest 2% in spite of all common sense.

Guess now that Mr. Obama is outfoxed once again by ideologue Republicans (who don't worry one bit about 'the deficit' when it's them and their buds getting money they'll sock away, not spend), we may now look forward to 2011 as the year the wealthy class, so favored by the White House, set about creating millions of new jobs which the tax cut extension will - the GOP has implied - make so very very possible going forward!

Well, here's the DailyKos petition you may wish to sign protesting this unconscionable move which will add $700 billion to the national debt and lead to what can only be described as dubious improvement for the US economy. For as many people have pointed out, the wealthy class in America had years of lower tax rates under Bush-Cheney during which they could have created US jobs but I think we all know that they did just the opposite which in part has lead to the financial condition our nation is in today.

As DailyKos points out, the same people who are shoving the 'need' for a tax cut extension for the well-to-do are the same varmints who will oppose raising the debt ceiling to pay for it so that their decades-long 'undo entitlements' agenda will unravel the social fabric more than they already have as it proceeds against Social Security, Medicare, and Medicaid.

And thus, the class warfare of Pluto/Chiron grinds on with the plutocratic duo's midpoint tellingly at MC (Goal Point) of the Inauguration 2009 horoscope. Who's side is Mr. Obama on?, we might ask.

That the newly minted tax cut extension is a welfare program brought to GOP fatcats compliments of the US government doesn't tally well with the upper crust's typical view of themselves, so mum's the word.

These are the fatcats, their relatives, and supporters who turned out in force to vote on Nov 2, 2010 so that this sort of legislation could happen for the benefit of the 2% with scr*wing the 98% the GOP's long-planned goal. We might be forgiven for saying that the Dems are in league with this goal, for on Capitol Hill, it isn't politicians' words and mild protests that count, it's how things actually turn out and the ultimate consequences for we-the-people. Now we see how the tax cut extension will turn out: as a win-win for the wealthy while the deficit is enlarged for no good reason.

This forced showdown on tax cuts has the added bonus for the GOP of further undermining the authority and presidency of Barack Obama which demonstrates that sabotage is alive and well in Washington DC, along with its handmaiden, blackmail.

Tsk tsk!

So if you, dear reader, are not one of the fatcats, remember that you were advised to turn out for the Democrats - and for yourself - on Nov 2. And yes, the Democratic Party is disappointing as well, but they do occasionally make efforts on behalf of the 98%.

So my question for both of you is: will the GOP use this opportunity, this tax gift, to create jobs for America's middle class in 2011 and thus win their thankful votes and praise in 2012? Or will the collapse and restructuring of American society continue unabated?

Sanders' Audit the Fed amendment breathing shallowly

Right now (9:57 am edt) Senator Bernie Sanders is answering callers' questions on C-SPAN's Washington Journal and his Audit the Fed amendment has gained some play today on Capitol Hill.

If the Sanders amendment is allowed to tag along on reform legislation (which so far sounds quite toothless) will it lead to anything useful for the American taxpayer or merely entertain us with yet another trifling performance of the infamous Capitol Hill Theater?

Now here's a post from Jan 2008 which I began with a quote from Senator Sanders and which displays the horoscope (sans my notations) of the *Generation of Materialism, aka the Robber Baron class, which is timed astrologically by the New Moon 8Tau14 of April 28, 1881, as noted by E. A House of Cards Always Topples

The credit card industry is one example of a concentrated effort to place millions of people 'under obligation' with the lure of easy, instant luxury and the promise of riches that only the Robber Baron and banker classes can truly 'enjoy'.

As I've blogged here previously, it's the Robber Baron class' modern spawn (biological or ideological) who now bedevil our society and undermine it with corruption and greed so out of bounds that the world's financial system has been shoved to the precipice of total collapse...and right on schedule, after they've made their riches by robbing and exploiting others while funneling collective dollars into their private and corporate accounts.

And enriched America made the perfect vehicle.
