The Wikipedia page of Trump's newly named acting AG Matthew Whitaker (politician) gives his birth date as October 29, 1969, Ankeny, Iowa so let's take a peek at the planets on that day to suss him out a bit for it seems we'll be stuck with him. His Sun is in Scorpio but naturally only a range of degrees for his natal Moon can be ascertained without an accurate birth hour. His Luna position during the 24 hours of his birth day varies from 21Gem16 to 3Can24 thus creating two potential Sun-Moon personality blends. Brief details of both are listed, below, and are taken from the Harveys' Sun Sign-Moon Sign:

Plus, details concerning Mr. Whitaker's Prenatal Solar Eclipse Saros Series ('PE') follow along with a few of the transiting planets for November 7, 2018 which link to Whitaker's natal planets on that day (with the DOJ's chain of command ignored by Trump = unconstitutional).

An ethereal, misty Water-Air Sun Scorpio-Moon Gemini denotes a passionate yet detached fellow gifted with the psychological understanding of a counselor and therapist. Endlessly curious and insightful about human emotions, Whitaker can be volatile, restless, satirizing, voyeuristic and tends to engage in off-again on-again involvements. One Image for Integration stands out: "Trivial Pursuits goes macabre."

A Sun Scorpio-Moon Gemini blend also pertains to Fyodor Dostoyevsky who informed us that, "If the devil doesn't exist, but man has created him, he has created him in his own likeness."

A sentimental, emotional double Water blend of Sun Scorpio-Moon Cancer suggests the 'mailed fist in a velvet glove' sort of person who is very perceptive, clannish, shrewd, and charismatic with a strong sense of duty. This is a tough-and-tender combo of energies which can suddenly morph into exterminator mode and can "feel where things are at," then take actions to restore harmony. He allows subjective hunches to replace objective reasoning and can sink into self pity via an egocentric sensitivity (which sounds like Donald Trump).

Mars trine natal Mercury (25Libra): thoughts can be turned into action, mentality is energized, good news and/or good fortune arrive/s, lots of meetings are held, and business ventures are favored.

Venus Rx conjunct natal Mercury (26Libra): agreeable meetings and communications with allies involved in joint endeavors.

Authoritative planet of karma Saturn sextile natal Sun (6Scorpio): an opportunity is provided via a more mature or senior authority figure to demonstrate leadership ability--a chance to 'get ahead' is offered.

Saturn trine natal Saturn (5Taurus Rx): making plans, lifestyle changes are stabilized.

Saturn square natal Uranus (6Libra): great tension, challenges, and upsets.

Pluto sextile natal North Node (20Pisces) - both planet and point are karmic: destiny beckons, reaping the benefits of past actions (he's written and given his opinion on legal matters in Trump's favor multiple times), and...powerful events change the future.

A 7 South Prenatal Solar Eclipse

As for Matthew Whitaker's PE, it manifested prior to his birth on September 11, 1969 @18Vir53 in the 7 South Saros Series with themes of: 'force, anger, and power' via the 'Mars-Pluto energies contained in 7 South's initial eclipse' of June 22, 1248 OS @8Can03--conjunct Trump's natal Mercury @8:51!); 'huge obstacles will suddenly, easily clear, or, negatively, a pending potential crisis will manifest with a sense that everything is moving at great speed' (Brady's Predictive Astrology). A 7 South eclipse last manifested on October 3, 2005 @10Libra (between Whitaker's natal Venus @15Libra and Uranus @6Libra) and will next perfect on October 14, 2023 @21Libra 'eclipsing' his natal Jupiter (20Lib41) and occurring near the natal Jupiter (17Libra) of Donald Trump.

So as it turns out, both men are charter members of the "it's not fair!" club of Jupiter in Libra, sign of the Scales of Justice. A cozy connection, perhaps, but there are a few other planetary links not so cozy between their natal planets which I may discuss in a future post if Mr. Whitaker manages to hang on to his new exalted position in the Department of Justice.

Trump Campaign's Russian Encounters at RNC 2016

Now that Trump Campaign contacts and meetings during the Republican National Convention in July 2016 with Russian agents such as Sergei Kislyac are in the news I've been reviewing (under Mercury retrograde) previous posts from that time. Comparisons with the horoscope of the RNC Full Moon of July 19, 2016 and the (noon) natal charts of Paul Manafort and current AG Jeff Sessions have proven somewhat enlightening, and of course, Mr. Trump's timed natal horoscope deserved a look as well. Apparently, foreign operative Mr. Manafort joined the Trump Campaign in order to direct or manage the GOP's 2016 Convention.

Regarding Kislyac see Russian ambassador won't name all the Trump officials he's met with because 'the list is so long'.

Following are brief notes on what seem to me the primary links between the natal charts of Trump, Manafort, and Sessions with the RNC 2016 Full Moon chart, plus, a re-publish of my original chart of the RNC 2016 Full Moon itself, a Full Moon which spotlighted or reflected US natal Pluto (27Cap33 Rx) as you can see:

As you see, Trump's natal Libra trio of Neptune-Chiron-Jupiter is at MC, the Goal Point, and radical chaos-creator Uranus is at IC, the Foundation of the chart. The power-hungry Sun-Pluto midpoint is at MC, an obvious picture of power grabbing and an obsession with ruling over overs. Mars-Jupiter is at MC as well indicating an ability to make favorable arrangements and a love of 'enterprise' (such as selling out America to Russia, privatizing every public program they can for private profit, running government via bribes, favors and pay-offs, and turning the Oval Office into Trump's personal piggy bank?)

Trump's natal planets have a few links to the RNC 2016 chart. These include 2016 Uranus in Aries square natal Saturn in Cancer: others pose threats to his 'authority', new ideas or methods challenge traditions (I'll say!); 2016 Pluto opposes n Mercury in Cancer: opinions being forced upon him (many have tried!); 2016 Saturn 10Sag15 Rx inconjunct n Mercury: adjustments to his thinking and planning (intimidation and bribery can do that); 2016 North Node in Virgo square n Uranus (Trump's guiding planet of chaos and disruption): dealings and/or meetings with rigid characters. A compromised Donald Trump remains obvious to me if not you.

RNC 2016 links to Sessions' natal planets include: 2016 Neptune square n Mercury: open to deception in communications; info is not what it appears to be (an echo of Trump's problematic natal Mercury-Neptune square of lies and fantasy--you'll recall that Jeff Sessions lied to Congress about his meetings with Russians); 2016 Jupiter in Virgo (conjunct the North Node of meetings and encounters) square n Mercury: speaking or acting before thinking, taking rash actions; 2016 Pluto possibly conjunct n Moon in Capricorn: threats, intimidation, secrets? RNC 2016 links to Manafort's planets include: 2016 Full Moon conjunct n Jupiter (28Cap37) which of course means that Manafort's n Jupiter conjoins US n Pluto--political ambitions expand and financial rewards accrue or are promised, along with a general Moon-Pluto influence of obsession with mishandling of resources (Jupiter), criminality, and manipulations concerning war/s and weaponry, plus, a potential for secrets to be revealed which suggests intimidation and threats--as in, an offer Manafort couldn't refuse--even if he'd wanted to. Personally I have to include the Republican Party within such negotiations with Russia but disagree if you must. Another link that relates to meetings is natal NN @25Aries conjoined by 2016 Uranus denotes meetings or encounters with unorthodox people and zealots (Uranus in Aries) within the realms of radical politics (Uranus-NN).

Actually, across the Cancer-Capricorn security axis, a doubling of Moon-Pluto vibes occurs on July 19th for a Full Moon @27Cap40 perfects and conjoins US natal Pluto (27Cap33) suggesting potentials for military and/or police involvement during the convention (or rhetoric about such topics), violence and/or criminal behavior, terrorism, paid protesters disrupting events, intense emotions such as rage or jealousy, hurled insults, hidden string-pulling, mass media and a very large amount of publicity. (Moon-Pluto = public relations; mass propaganda; a need for power.) Plus, with Moon-Pluto, a 'demanding tyrant' may be on the scene. This is supported by transit Pluto in Saturn-ruled Capricorn which can express as The Dictator (Ebertin).

That the Full Moon's Sun opposes US natal Pluto @27Cap33 (and US SP Pluto @29Cap, a critical degree) hints at what we know to be the case: major power plays are in progress. The July 19th Full Moon may potentially reveal secrets much as a Lunar Eclipse can do and may involve the Pentagon and/or may place plutocrats (Pluto) in the public spotlight, and highlight misogyny, point to abortion issues, and/or uncover past abuses of women. Simultaneously, transit Pluto squares US natal Saturn (14Lib48), a time when motives must be aboveboard, and restriction and criticism occur due to our government's ruthless abuse of power and authority.

Now in 2018, with what we know so far from the Mueller investigation, it turns out that perhaps the 'demanding tyrant' on the RNC scene in 2016 represents Vladimir Putin and his agent Kislyac even more than it describes a subservient Donald Trump, now appearing in his role of US President.

In the Realms of Jupiter Part 3: Steve Bannon

Born on November 27, 1953 with an Airy Jupiter @23Gem33, Mr. Bannon has had varied careers within Geminian areas such as stock trading, editing, promotion, and publishing. As you know, Mercury-ruled Gemini is a mental sign of communication and has allowed him opportunities to acquire a wide range of marketable skills. Mr. Bannon shares an Airy Jupiter with his advisee Donald Trump whose Jupiter is in Venus-ruled Libra where Jupiter relates to others based on Trump's constant concern with fair play in relationships. Meanwhile, Mr. Bannon's Jupiter in Gemini loves to tell fantastic stories with larger meanings and has the capacity to relate many facts and details into the scene.

But wait! We should be careful here or Steve Bannon's natal Saturn may overtake his Jupiterian energies for dutiful Saturn @4Sco11 is unaspected and thus may function unencumbered and with less difficulty in Saturnian realms (such as management, control, duties, authority) than an aspected Saturn would. In isolation may be his preferred mode of working, plus, the placement suggests an indifference or lack of concern for anything outside his usual sphere of operation. Negatively, self-discipline may be missing from the personality along with a normally functioning conscience.

However, let's not give up on Bannon's natal Jupiter just yet for it leads a BOWL shape in his natal horoscope with the rest of the planets tipping Jupiter's way. Obviously, some level of leadership is suggested here though without a timed birth chart we can't know in which direction the BOWL tips. (My guess would be toward career matters.) Anyway, this emphasizes a prominent natal Jupiter in Gemini which happens to conjoin the Uranus-NN-Sun trio of Donald Trump posited in Trump's very visible 10th house of Career and Public Status. Plus, Bannon's natal Sun @5Sag is ruled by Jupiter which adds more adventurous Sagittarian vibes to his character and intellect; his natal Moon is in either Leo the entertainer, or Virgo the critic and dedicated worker slogging away behind the scenes. My guess? A Virgo Moon. You?

Also of note is the fact that Bannon's natal Jupiter is retrograde, a condition denoting unusual perspectives, odd beliefs, and/or a different set of morals. Here is one who prefers to learn by his own experiences and who tends to plan things well rather than relying on natural luck.

Expansive Jupiter in Curious Gemini: Exploring Unconventional Ideas

One further note is necessary here: natal Pluto @25Leo01 is at Rx Station so power, manipulation, and control are inner issues of transformation which hide in the shadows of a Jupiter-Pluto sextile, an aspect supplying talent in matters of psychological combat. How useful in Politics and in business and financial analysis! And yet the self-reliant Mr. Bannon may find himself facing his losses alone when they come for lack of loyalty from fair weather friends may be an issue for him and he may have made enemies who attempt to sabotage him via rumor or misfortune (Epstein). And it's possible that on November 27, 1953 the Moon conjoined natal Pluto which would indicate an extremely demanding nature--hard to live or deal with, a tyrant in fact. Also note that his natal Pluto conjoins the natal Mars of Donald Trump (@26Leo and rising)--an energizing contact yet possibly explosive.

In addition, his natal Jupiter is engaged in a second aspect, a Jupiter-Neptune trine which may inspire attempts to refine any coarseness within his environment. (My suggestion: the Oval Office please!) Mr. Bannon possesses an inherent understanding of life as shown by this aspect and is concerned with restoring order out of chaos (uh-oh--via a 'new world order'?), a trait that must come in very handily in the crazy quilt Trump White House. Mysticism and occult interests are also shown by the Airy Jupiter-Neptune trine along with a tendency to respond only to certain people who share his interests or his attitudes. And this is rather paradoxical since Bannon's natal Jupiter is posited in communicating, often chatty, ever curious Gemini!

So let's close this Astro-Portrait of Steve Bannon's natal Jupiter in Gemini with a midpoint picture involving Jupiter, one that is in force throughout the day and night of his birth and thus does not depend upon a correctly timed horoscope; any, all, or none of the following suggested potentials may apply and are subject to transits, progressions, and arcs, and may be activated by eclipses, stars, and/or other cosmic events:

June 13, 2017 AG Jeff Sessions testifies under a Mercury-Neptune square

Scheduled today at 2:30 pm edt on Capitol Hill is an open session with Attorney General Jeff Sessions who will answer the senators' questions (or not) under the day's confusing influence of a Mercury (testifier; communicator; speaker) square Neptune, planet of delusion, deception, fraud, the media, the masses--you know the list. The assimilation of information is faulty as we see with Donald Trump who was born with the same aspect between Mercury and Neptune resulting in loose lips, indiscretion, misconceptions, lies, and a 'sneaky mind' (Oken).

Under this problematic square, who's right and who's wrong is a confusing matter and cold logic is missing although inspiration and intuition may be enhanced and illusions may be promoted. It's a tricky period during which Mr. Sessions has placed himself on the hot seat in a public forum to basically defend himself--and Mr. Trump.

Will undisputed facts reach right conclusions? As an astrologer, I doubt it. As an American, I sincerely long for facts to point in the correct direction yet I fret that today's testimony by AG Jeff Sessions will make little or no difference in the end.

btw: I neglected to mention earlier that at 2:30 pm edt today on Capitol Hill, Jeff Sessions' natal vague Neptune in Libra was rising followed closely by transit Jupiter! And an out-of-bounds Mars @6Cancer (conjunct US natal Jupiter) opposes (challenges) AG Sessions' natal Mars in Capricorn. (Dec 24, 1946 'noon' Selma, Alabama).
