And it's why the traitors who planned the 'federal reserve system' in the US had to do so in complete secrecy on Jekyll Island--if the American people had been aware of their Aldrich Plan, we would have tarred and feathered 'Senator' Aldrich and the rest of the crooks including Paul Warburg and the JP Morgan operatives who secretly attended.

President Obama's Afghanistan plans sound like Very Bad Ideas to me, but what does a gnat like me know?

If Orwell was right (and I believe he was/is) then 'endless war' is the aim of certain movers and shakers and da*n the torpedos and the populace. Population control is a side effect they can easily live with.

The politics and politicians I whine...er...blog about constantly are only the political arm (or tentacles) of the monster, and like Hydra in the myth, the octopus' ugliness should be lifted into the light of day - into awareness - to interrupt its devouring of the good with the bad, the baby with the bath water, and innocent civilians with psychotic criminals who cynically and cruelly use them as political 'shields'.

Senator Joseph Biden has introduced a bill to send more billions to Pakistan to fight terrorism - since the billion dollar bribes have worked perfectly so far...

But what can you do with a Hill-full of irrepressible drunken sailors with major pocket-lining tendencies?

Send a decent one to join the Washington throng? It only ends up spoiling 'em as they are cautioned to vote as the party tells them if they want to keep their jobs, the little newbies, so wide-eyed and desperate to stay in sparkly Washington and rule the world alongside the (pompous) big dogs.

That's how it's done - maintain the elitist status quo while posing for the cameras, holding hearings, and 'serving' on committees whose main outcomes consist in making more noise than improvement.

Didn't I say here on SO'W that the November 2006 elections would show us the pudding's proof or be a song-and-dance wash out...or words to that effect? What would Dem control amount to?, I asked. Not much, as we see - but the mega-propagandized "WOT" has certainly been a terrific bottomless pit for pilfering taxpayers' money, hasn't it?

Citing unnamed senior administration officials, the newspaper said the plan calls for giving Central Intelligence Agency agents broader powers to strike selected targets inside the country, in some cases using intelligence provided by Pakistani sources.#

These forums were a little closer to being actual debates than we've seen in years which was...refreshing. Some actual testiness showed through, and the pile-ups on Romney by the Rs, and on Clinton by John Edwards and Barack Obama were predictable fodder for the Sunday morning pundits. Once again, Tim Russert and his tv colleagues managed to avoid any real discussion of issues in any meaningful way.

Change is as change does, says Hillary (I paraphrase liberally--accent on does.)

But she can't hide from the fact that she's been part of the establishment for several years now, female though she is. A woman president would be a major change--but not if it's imperialism and corporatism as usual. If selected, she won't be able to hide behind her own skirts (if she has any) for long if that's what's in store for America with a Hillary presidency.

John McCain seems to be preferred by the GOP...Mr. One Hundred Years in Iraq. Well, astrologically he has natal Pluto opposite US n Pluto, and natal Moon conjunct US Pluto. This speaks to his Vietnam experiences and now--to his attachment to US power which includes Pluto's nuclear connection.

This places McCain's ambitious Capricorn Moon at MC in the Inauguration 2009 chart along with US natal Pluto--and his natal NN (path; connections with the public)conjuncts Inaugural Pluto in the 8th house...Scorpio's natural house.

So on Inauguration Day it's tr Pluto 1Cap57 conj McCain's n NN 1Cap28 which links to the attacks of 9/11/01. His powerful connections (Pluto/NN) are also with those whose power-behind-the-throne has been in effect since America was born...US n Pluto is unaspected and works on his own as it suits. Our CIA and other intell agencies were formed in the early days and continue to work outside the realm of the American people's knowledge.

The nature of the beast? Sure. And this beast is a large part of present troubles created by perfidy, betrayal, unreliability, and meddling (to transform--Pluto the catalyst.) Overthrowing elected govenments, installing and propping up dictators, drug-running, assassinations (you know the list)--our unaspected Pluto has perpetrated it all.

And America's Pluto Return in 2021-22 may be the culmination of our nation's long march toward a fall from grace.

As mentioned in a previous post, switching prez Inaugurations from early March to Jan 20 (for one of FDR's installations) has put US natal Pluto at MC
(the Goal, Aspirations, and Objectives Point of the chart) ever since.

The date switch also had the obfuscating effect of removing US natal Pluto/Chiron midpoint from MC (8Pis+)--not that anyone was aware of Chiron at that time. But plutocratic oppression and class warfare certainly existed, didn't it?

Now Pluto is going into Pakistan bwo the CIA and Pentagon. History, and the planetary cycles that mirror them, repeat.

With Bhutto's birth time unknown, I decided to post her sad death chart with natal placements (in blue) around the outside.

The time has been given as 6:16 pm as her moment of expiration after being shot and blown up after speaking at a large rally where she was undoubtedly strong with persuasion--and worrisome to her enemies and to those who like to mess up US efforts no matter what violence it takes.

Moon is chart-ruler and the feature that pops out is Moon conj her natal Pluto, planet (yes, planet) of death, transformation, and power, natally placed at 21 Leo21.

Before I go on, let me say that my heartfelt condolences go out to the Pakistani people for their loss.

Moon is separating from opposition with Neptune in AQ (the masses--she was leaving a large rally) and applies to a square with Scorpionic Venus and a trine with Pluto (a certain meeting scheduled for later in the evening?)

South Node (SN--a separative point) 29Leo02 is at critical/crisis degree and is midway between Moon (and thus her natal Pluto) and tr Saturn. Moon/Saturn is a signifier of control, restriction, and oppression of the people (Moon), and Saturn/Pluto = cruelty, hard work, and loss.

As you remember, the attacks of 9/11 occurred while Saturn and Pluto were in opposition. All of this is happening with a 9/11, 'war on terror' backdrop, of course, with missing US billions now lining someone's pockets, although Pakistani officials are understanably denying it. Incendiary Mars Rx 1Can33 is now between Bhutto's natal Sun/Mars conj so her assassination has happened during her Mars Return, a triple one due to Mars' retrogradation. If her natal Sun is at 29Gem (another crisis degree), then contentious activist Mars is headed back that way in early January, and again reaches today's degree on appr March 9, 2008.

This sensitive degree in early Cancer triggers 9/11's Mars and the Solar Eclipse prior to 9/11/01. On Nov 3, Mars was at 11Can26 (when Musharraf declared emergency rule--a euphemism for martial law or police state, suspended the Supreme Court, and imprisoned thousands who don't agree with him, etc) and the god of war will return to 11Can33 during the first couple of days of April, 2008. This will continue the same issues for Pakistan and despotic Musharraf.

The pile-up now opposite Mars--Pluto in late Sag, Jupiter, and Sun--are conjunct asteroids Hopi (ambush; prejudice ), Bacchus (denial), and Morya (death.) This is a grouping I have fretted about before in a recent post--the one on Winter Solstice 2007. It was ugly then, and it's produced ugly, rotten, tragic fruit today.

Benazir Bhutto's book will be coming out in spite of her untimely death, says NPR but with her hopes for Pakistan interrupted, her dreams for moderation dissolved, and her people in chaos and grief.

Meanwhile, the plutocratic, racist, oppressive Pluto-Chiron midpoint is on the Descendant (of Other People/Partnerships/Legal Affairs/Open Enemies) at 6:16 pm so if she was partnering with the corporate types, where were they when she needed them? Or perhaps it hasn't been a trusty partnership, as it turns out.

A "grim" Bush was quick to tout his brand of democracy as soon as he could get a mike in front of his gob. He said that those who committed this crime must be brought to justice. Since that guy is dead, old Bush must've meant those who sponsored this crime, aka assassination, aka terroism. (If they're hanging out with bin Laden, we know that Bush and Musharraf won't be finding them.)

Asteroid, Icarus, associated with assassination, is conj the New World Order degree of "18Cap." Mmm, no comment. Venus is in the secretive sign of Scorpio at the "A Military Band on the March" degree, and with the chaos created today, it is marching for sure as Pakistan's military arm shows its strength in a way opposite to what the common man and woman might prefer.

The negative/shadow side of this degree is: foolhardy self-exploitation. But who are the fools? There seem to be so many of them on all sides...who can keep them sorted?

'They say' that Musharraf didn't take Bhutto's safety seriously (I'm being generous here) and emergency rule is surely on one of the cards he holds in his graspy claw, with perhaps the promised January "elections" being cancelled as well. Hey--Putin's staying in, so Pervez wants to stay in power, too.

Well, there's much more to say about this melancholy chart (with sacrificial Neptune in the 8th house of death) which well-describes the Pakistani people's miserable loss, so perhaps I'll be updating this post later on as more is known.

Curfew and disruption (Uranus conj Achernar: risk of rapid endings) is undoubtedly on the way, and at the moment I'm just very very sad for Pakistan, for Benazir Bhutto and family - and for the whole discordant world.

Watching Condi Rice's mash note to Pervez Musharraf this morning on This Week with George Stephanopoulos has caused the muse of romance to light upon my left shoulder, sparking a scene in my imagination--a scene which Condi and Pervez probably don't want revealed, so let's reveal it...

Europe in the Skies with Venus

Space Weather News for June 17, 2007

European sky watchers should be alert on Monday, June 18th, for a mid-afternoon eclipse of Venus by the crescent Moon. Hanging high in the sky, Venus will appear as a pinprick of light beside the Moon, visible to the naked eye in broad daylight until the edge of the Moon covers the planet. (Technically, this is called a "lunar occultation.") Binoculars will improve visibility, but be careful not to point them at the sun.

Elsewhere, in the Middle East, India and Pakistan, the eclipse can be seen around sunset and after dark. From those places, a clear view of the western horizon is essential because the Moon and Venus will be setting, but the sight should be spectacular. Except for a small region around the Canadian maritime provinces, this event will be completely invisible from North America.
