On the Wikipedia page of Georgia Governor Brian Kemp, we find that he was born on November 2, 1963 in Athens, Georgia (my hometown: sorry!), but the main reason Mr. Kemp is mentioned today on SO'W is because he's chomping at the bit to rise even higher from state to national politics. Well, so far he's exercised effective cheating chops in and around elections which only recommends him to the Republican Party of win-at-any-cost comrades for whom truth is only relative, if it shows up at all.

And although I'm not at liberty to reveal my sources back in Georgia, suffice to say that Mr. Kemp has long been known in the state for acting below board in business dealings and shiftily in politics. For one example, see how in 2019 Kemp quietly settled a lawsuit over a bad business loan. Now some folks might agree with me that "bad" often substitutes for the word corrupt. And most everyone has heard before now of how Kemp cheated his way into the governor's office by counting the votes himself as Georgia's Secretary of State against Democrat Stacey Abrams (December 9, 1973) whose freely available natal chart is rated AA for accuracy. Besides, can you image Secretary of State Brian Kemp honorably counting votes in favor of Stacey Abrams when he could use his official position to "win" the governorship he now enjoys?

Anyway, having found no example of a natal chart for Brian Kemp to link you to, dear reader, here is an unmarked 'noon' horoscope set for November 2, 1963 in Athens, Georgia (in case it should come in handy one day):

To add to the Kemp picture, here are a few notes concerning his Prenatal Solar Eclipse ('PE') which does not depend upon having an accurate birth hour, only a person's date of birth:

Little Brian Kemp (who I should confess is my 17th cousin via my Strickland line) was born into the 1 North Saros Series via a Total Solar Eclipse which manifested on July 20, 1963 @27Can24:09 with themes of:

"Unexpected events involving friends or groups place a great deal of pressure on personal relationships; issues loom large as the eclipse affects the chart; make no hasty decisions for information is distorted or possibly false; attached is an essence of tiredness or health problems" (Brady's Predictive Astrology #ad).

Since 1963, 1 North Eclipses have occurred in the years 1981 (as 'The Reaganomics Eclipse'), 1999 (as the New Millennium's 'Nostradamus Eclipse' of alarm), and in August 2017 as 'The Great American Eclipse' which, you'll remember, raced across and split America from Oregon to South Carolina, and by degree, landed directly upon Tr*mp's natal Mars-Ascendant-Regulus trio. (Who can forget how Dunald removed his safety glasses and looked directly up at the eclipse? Doh! Rather squinty looking now, isn't he?)

So we might suspect that 1 North eclipses time difficulties and turmoil on planet Earth as the 'wild card' they clearly are. Well, good news: the next 1 North eclipse won't occur until September 2, 2035 @9Virgo so at least we have that goin' for us.

Then when one's PE lands in the Moon-ruled sign of Cancer, we can assume that there are connections to psychic ability, to karmic family ties, and to emotional extremes that can cause blockages to karmic development, and result in a lack of personal growth. A tendency to hide in an emotional shell (like a crab on the beach) as a child might do in an attempt to avoid dealing directly with issues may be noticed, or its opposite: being too involved emotionally to see clearly the issues brought by the eclipse. To me this resonates with 1 North Eclipse themes, noted above, such as avoiding decision-making while under pressure, and which possibly involve family members. Or perhaps not dealing with issues at all.

Now besides Brian Kemp, names of other Republicans are being "floated" for the party's 2024 presidential nomination. Two of them have been discussed here previously, one of which is Ron DeSantis, and another (hope you're sitting down!) is John Bolton whose natal planets were compared in a post with those of Herr Tr*mp way back in 2018 when their love was young.

A Natal Chart for Senator John Kennedy (R-LA)

April 23, 2021: If you're curious about the contrary Senator John Kennedy (R-LA) his Wikipedia bio page can supply a few details. Born John Neely Kennedy on November 21, 1951 in Centreville, Mississippi but raised in Zachary, Louisiana, Mr. Kennedy served as Treasurer of Louisiana from January 10, 2000 to January 3, 2017, the date he was sworn in to serve in the US Senate.

For your consideration, I've rustled up a 12:00 pm (CST) natal horoscope for Senator Kennedy which shows Sun in late Scorpio and Moon in late Leo (a Sun-Moon square = "Me Against Thee" - A. Oken). Yet if born on or after 4:35:30 pm CST, his Moon is in Virgo, sign of The Critic, which, considering his typical performances on Capitol Hill, just may be the case. However, if born earlier with Moon in dramatic Leo (he's a lawyer, politician, and show-off), the Sun-Moon personality of the two Fixed (rigid) signs makes more sense to me so I'm going with that. Besides, a Virgo Moon would give him a pragmatic, supportive Water-Earth blend of conscious and unconscious energies while Water-Fire suggests a steamy, volatile, intensely personal blend that cannot step back and see things from an impersonal viewpoint. And with a Watery Sun and Fiery Moon, this is the combo of the 'passionate crusader' so you can see why I suspect a Leo Moon for John Kennedy (- Charles and Suzi Harvey).

So! Below is a speculative Natal Horoscope for John Kennedy with many of my study notes penned on such as: Mercury out-of-bounds ('OOBs' = off-planet ideas?) and a Pisces North Node which can indicate secret meetings with odd people and/or associations which can harm the community. Now as you see, he was sworn in on January 3, 2017 (at his Nodal Half Return) with the Sun opposing his quirky Uranus Rx which happens to conjunct Sirius (the scorcher), so compromise with fellow senators was not on his agenda. Also note that his Prenatal Solar Eclipse ('PE') in the 7 South Saros Series contains a tremendous amount of anger, power, and force (belied by his 'lazy' southern accent when questioning those he considers beneath him) thanks to 7 South's initial eclipse with a Mars-Pluto square (from Leo to Scorpio! with Saturn involved!). A crisis-ridden 7 South Eclipse will repeat on October 14, 2023 @21Libra.

See lower right for a few notes on the intensely emotional Moon-Pluto pair. And it's possible that the senator may have grown up with one of those infamous "smother mothers"! And, deep inside, harbor a reigning need for power, leadership, and applause.

Meanwhile, Mr Kennedy's Sun-Moon square implies relationship troubles or frustrations (due to ego, pride, and stubbornness?), and suggests that he's hypersensitive to criticism so please treat the speculative chart gingerly! Because with a Venus-Saturn conjunction, Mr. Kennedy is a discontented, dissatisfied kind of guy whose Sun Scorpio-Moon Leo personality combo has no tolerance for anyone who disagrees with him or stands in his way.

Lower left: Two natal midpoint pictures are in force for the entire 24 hours of his birth day no matter his time of birth: Mars-Uranus = Pluto and Mercury-Pluto = Neptune. A few of their potentials are listed although others, more dangerous, shocking, or draining, may apply as well. Also note that Mr. Kennedy's natal Uranus @13Can33 conjuncts US natal Sun so perhaps the non-traditional ideas and unorthodox methods he brought to Congress in 2017 have to do with the presidency of the United States and/or how leadership was established on July 4, 1776 in relation to the principles embedded within the Declaration of Independence.

SOTU 2019: Trump Cries Wolf!

February 5, 2019: Tonight at 9:00 pm est the 2019 State of the Union address is scheduled after a week's delay due to the Trump Shutdown and Speaker Nancy Pelosi's insistence that 'no SOTU in the House chamber until the government is re-opened'. So Trump cooled his SOTU heels, bone spurs and all, and tonight's the night.

With my astrology software in mothballs due to a recent computer crash, no SOTU 2019 horoscope is possible for this post so here's a bit on the curious fact that at 9:01 pm tonight, the Moon enters Pisces just as the propagandist is set to begin his speech and hours after the February 4th New Moon @15AQ45 has passed. Naturally the sign of the Moon signifies the mood of the public and in sensitive, watery Pisces, Trump may find that the number of folks who show up to witness his diatribe in real time is rather low.

Actually, the Democrats' SOTU rebuttal just after, to be delivered by Georgia's Stacey Abrams, promises to be the more interesting of the two speeches especially since the rhetoric of Trump the Uranian has become quite predictable like a scratchy old record played many times too often. "National emergency at the border!!," cries the wolf once again, this time with the megaphone of the bully pulpit in hand. Do you believe?

Cosmic Influences

A flavor of the evening may be seen by its Sun Aquarius-Moon Pisces blend with the detached, futuristic Aquarian played by Trump and, on one level, the softer more compassionate Piscean played by Stacey Abrams. From the misty, unsubstantial Air-Water combo itself, we may expect Trump to reach out to the public and his 'backers' with the expectancy of having his fragile ego boosted by their positive responses, his 'independent thinking' on display for the world to see and marvel at. His 'mark on the world' just has to be a 'Trump Wall' for he's determined although yours truly continues to wonder if 5.7 billion dollars is the amount of some loan payment Trump has due and he'd prefer to keep all his fingers if you know what I mean. Why won't someone offer him a statue to his 'honor' instead? The pigeons would appreciate it!

Anyway, tonight's address promises a mixture of mind (AQ) and heart (Pisces) although impracticality and Trump's usual evasiveness will be evident as well. His apparent idealism may shine through but so will his tendencies toward gullibility and skimming the surface of things and childishly assuming that he's an expert on any topic you can name. How much 'sway' his words can conjure is unlikely to break any records and an uptick in Trump's approval ratings after tonight's performance may be as elusive a prey as 'The Wall' Nancy says he can't have billions for. A Normandy wall (fence) with upgraded tech surveillance equipment and more manpower and judges on the border, probably. But no bottomless money pit for a 'Wall' as Speaker Pelosi's Aries Jupiter continues going up against Trump's Libran Jupiter...in the background a role reversal Mars vs Venus conflict!

As for tonight...

A sensitive soul with a grandiose imagination, Mr. Trump will likely escape for the comfort of his private cocoon once he's done making his case tonight, all hamberders beware! And which mysterious advisers will he phone into the wee hours, hoping for positive encouragement? Drifting off-subject is a distinct possibility with Sun AQ-Moon Pisces, something off-teleprompter Trump tends toward so we'll watch for that if we watch at all.

Now Trump's SOTU 2019 may not qualify as "grand opera" but perhaps it's telling that tonight's cosmic vibes of Aquarius and Pisces are shared natally by two famous film producers, King Vidor and Roger Vadim and will be delivered by circus barker and reality TV 'star' Donald Trump in the leading role of America's current POTUS in the February 5th performance of Washington DC's Political Theater of the Absurd.

2018 candidate Stacey Abrams born December 9, 1973

October 16, 2018: 2018 candidate for the governorship of Georgia Stacey Abrams was born on December 9, 1973 in Madison, Wisconsin. With birth time unknown, a quick peek at her 'noon' horoscope shows a personality blend of Sun Sagittarius-Moon Gemini (the opposite of Donald Trump's!) with her Moon ranging from 5Gem36 to 20Gem37 during the 24-hour period. This is a Fire-Air combo of a 'live wire' full of exciting idea and communication skills that may get carried away with its eloquent rhetoric yet her cleverness and charisma are very attractive to others.

According to her Sun-Moon blend, Stacey Abrams is inventive, logical, ironic, sociable, and fun-loving although a YOD pattern with her Mercury-Venus sextile at its base and pointing toward Saturn Rx @2Can19 forms an interesting midpoint picture of thoroughness and a serious attitude toward life (Ebertin).

As for the Prenatal Solar Eclipse ('PE') of Stacey Abrams, it occurred on June 30, 1973 @9Cancer (conjunct Trump's natal Mercury!) in the 11 South Saros series. This is a difficult series with themes of 'systems fail and new methods and sudden reforms are needed in order to deal with events' which works for this native Georgian if it implies her victory over her Republican challenger Brian Kemp. In addition, solar eclipses in the 11 South series also suggest that 'any blocks could be violently or tragically removed' (Brady) which might refer in the current campaign season to the violence Brian Kemp and the Republicans in Georgia (my home state) are doing to 'win' by suppressing the Democratic vote on November 6, 2018.

An eclipse last manifested in the 11 South series on July 22, 2009 @29Can26 and another will occur on August 2, 2027 @10Leo opposite her natal Jupiter in Aquarius. And on November 6, 2018, transit Saturn will be @5Capricorn so the 'old man' planet recently opposed her natal Saturn, a period when one must take to heart lessons about what failed in the past and what is obviously not working presently so that plans can be made for taking constructive actions once the Saturnian influence passes. And since restrictive Saturn is associated with government, law (she's a lawyer), business, authority, realism, authenticity, and karma, we may expect this to be a fortuitous condition for a serious-minded lady candidate who may be victorious in the 2018 Midterms for if so, Stacey Abrams Could Become America's First Black Female Governor--If She Can Turn Georgia Blue which suggests her tendency toward breaking boundaries which are also ruled by astrological Saturn!
