On John Steinbeck's Life, Death, and Saturn

However, current changes proposed for the American people and our government are definitely not for the better. See Project 2025 Ideas Have Failed Before.

And so today, SO'W departs from the hateful realm of US politics to consider the life, death, and a few flawed personality traits of one of America's greatest authors, John Steinbeck (C-rated horoscope shown). His novels, some controversial in their time, such as The Grapes of Wrath, Of Mice and Men, Cannery Row - the list goes on and if you need to check them out, a Thought Company list provides an overview, plus, added are few biographical details concerning Steinbeck as well.

And yet this Great-Depression-era author could be considered an appropriate subject for a Political Astrology spotlight because the writer's topics during his era, such as greed and the suffering leveled against America's working class by plutocrats such as bankers, politicians, and others of an exploitative nature - are the same crimes against humanity that elite classes continue to perpetrate in our day. Yes, Mr. Steinbeck's 6th house Saturn in Capricorn was strongly determined toward career sucess, but for me, it's his sadistic treatment of his wives and children that land him in the character flaw category. In this, Steinbeck's similarity to the current crop of Republican cabinet member nominees is apparent. Misogyny then, misogyny now. In fact, they share a strong-armed paternalism of cruelty and control.

And yes, there are indications in the author's natal chart of trouble with Mama and thus in adulthood, serious issues with women. His Scorpio Moon squares his Mercury-Venus conjunction (planetary signature of a popular writer) and Luna also squares Jupiter (an aspect of taking the easy way out, and one that can lead to religious zealotry - perhaps his Mom's?). Plus, there's a complex sesqui-square with spiritual Neptune, a suggestion of deception, misunderstandings about or with Mother, and/or overblown religious beliefs. Plus, a Scorpio Moon can be problematic and suggests difficulties of its own: some form of betrayal is possible, or perhaps the smother mother syndrome afflicted John in childhood.

Meanwhile, Steinbeck's natal Sun in Pisces fares little better other than his deep well of imaginative creativity via Pisces, but serious health threats were suffered in his younger years (Sun = Saturn-MC: illness with Pisces often a sign of contagion or infection). Understandably, these weakening experiences marked him with depressive tendencies. And then there's his natal Ascendant (physical body) in Leo, sign of vitality - that's Leo, sign of the heart.

As for his double water Sun Pisces-Moon Scorpio blend, a measure of intuition is obvious along with brilliant creativity, and overflowing feelings. The will to expose hardship and the exploitation of others (but not of his family's, it seems) was clearly expressed in his literary works. Yet we know that turbulent relationships often come along with this passionate combination of conscious-unconscious energies as can a tendency toward harboring irrational suspicions (Sun Sign-Moon Sign, Charles and Suzi Harvey #ad).

So far, with no accurate birth time located for the current AG-nominee, the Wikipedia page of Matt Gaetz must suffice, so a look at his natal chart is somewhat limited. However, we can consider the Solar Eclipse Cycle into which Baby Matthew (Louis Gaetz II) was born May 7, 1982 in Hollywood, Florida, with a Taurus Sun, and Moon remaining in Scorpio for the entire 24-hour day of birth. In fact, since a Full Moon perfected that day at 8:44:40 pm edt, that's how the Matt Gaetz horoscope shown below is timed:

Then as you see above, an abundance of my study notes are squooshed upon the chart (mea culpa) including Mr. Gaetz's Prenatal Eclipse ('PE') with its theme penned on for all to see (1 South).

Natal Mercury in Gemini (thinking; young people; duplicity; multiplicity) is out-of-bounds ('OOBs') of the earthly plane suggesting unusual thoughts about young people, secret transactions (but Venmo not so secret!), plus, you may wish to notice his Ceres in Scorpio (persistence toward goals despite setbacks), and the Hard Rectangle pattern between Sun-Moon-Venus-Mars which relates to his sensual nature and his relationship "issues" with the ladies.

Sun Opposes Moon

It could be that Mom (Scorpio) and Dad (Taurus) had relationship and/or betrayal issues around the time of Matt's birth, plus, a few intense quarrels; meanwhile, their son inherited large measures of stubbornness, dramatic expressions, confidence, a ruthless desire for power, a strong appetite, materialism, and a territorial nature from one or both parents.

A Pragmatic Earth-Water Personality

Let's think about closing this reluctantly written post with the Harveys' Images for Integration describing the passionate Sun Taurus-Moon Scorpio blend of conscious and unconscious energies of Matt Gaetz who resigned his seat in Congress just as the Ethics Committee was about to come knocking upon his door; Q: has the Ethics report been publicly released or leaked yet?

This sounds about right to me, if not to you - and suggests scandals and degraded behavior that should be kept hidden for best results. Elon Musk's Personality Blend

My suspicion is that by now, any astrologer with an interest in US Politics has likely glanced at the B-rated natal horoscope of Elon Musk, and although I've tried to avoid it, now I have as well. After all, richest-man-in-the-world Mr. Musk could very well be the figure symbolized by wealthy Pluto in the Inauguration 2025 Horoscope's 10th house of Career and Leadership (in co-rulership?) with the Inaugural Sun (POTUS).

As we see by his natal horoscope shown below, Baby Musk was born June 28, 1971 at 7:30 am EET in Pretoria, South Africa with Sun @5Can53 (conjunct US 1776 Jupiter) and Moon @8Vir15. His Mercury @14Cancer rises at Ascendant with Sirius (The Scorcher) and Canopus, the star of old age. His is a Water-Earth blend detailed below the chart with Moon (Cancer)/Mercury (Virgo) influences.

Horoscope: Elon Reeve Musk with Astro-Notes that include his Prenatal Eclipse Series ("PE" = 9 New North) which repeats on March 29, 2025 @9Aries; themes are physical events, great physical effort, and potentials for accidents or violence (B. Brady):

The natal horoscope of nominee for next US Secretary of Defense, Pete Hegseth, is rated AA for accuracy. Baby Pete was born June 6, 1980 at 8:28 pm CDT in Minneapolis, Minnesota with expansive Sagittarius rising (11:47), Sun @15Gem27, and Moon @28Pis52. Of note is his Pisces Moon floating beneath the magic wand of transit Neptune. No, this is not the most reliable transit under which to be offered a position or to begin a new job! This is a sense of unreality transit during which he may feel his dreams coming true, the erosion of relationships, a mystery may surface about his background (familial or otherwise), confusion or deception may complicate his life, and/or possessions may disappear or be lost, reputation included. Some combination of them all may occur before this once-in-a-lifetime transit passes.

Now I won't annoy you, dear reader, by publishing Mr. Hegseth's natal chart here - not today anyway - or by repeating what you've already heard about the FOX TV anchor who's on tape missing a target and hitting one of drummers behind the target with an axe. This moody, adaptable personality blend tends to "blow with the wind" and is quite a chameleon. Sociable and talkative, the Sun Gemini-Moon Pisces individual is vacillating, versatile, sentimental, and can be "submissive yet cunning." On a communication level, there can be difficulty always getting his points across, perhaps some awkwardness when speaking is suggested. Hegseth is highly sensitive and impressionable with a measure of literary ability. This makes sense considering the multiple books he has published, and most sport Pete's photo on the cover so you can't miss 'em. Perhaps it's his Mercury-Pluto square that aids him when writing about political issues, for the square tends toward secrecy, suspicion, harshness, and cunning.

Venus-Saturn at Inauguration 2025

Perhaps you've noticed that a certain planetary conjunction appears in the Inauguration 2025 Horoscope (shown below), and that it also appears in the natal horoscope of Mr. Trump - for him, a suggestion of discontent in relationships.

So below you see a limited astro-comparison between the expected event of January 20, 2025 and the authoritarian fellow's natal chart - hard-hearted and full of jealousy as he is - who, with his comrades, intends to control our country, our Treasury, and our lives. Then the complete sabotage and looting of America is meant to follow - so pleasing to our nation's enemies.

What a massive resistance movement is needed!

Meanwhile, one of his foreign masters has let it be known that Mr. T has duties to perform now that he's been shoe-horned into the Oval Office with their help (again), duties which entail tasks that he must accomplish as per command. To me, this vise-like circumstance relates to 2017, when transit Pluto reached 18 Capricorn and transformed the energies of the 1993 Uranus-Neptune Conjunction/s into this seemingly unavoidable potential:

"The big picture commands a certain course of action which must be followed, very little option to do otherwise" (Solar Arcs, Noel Tyl #ad).

Of course, we can now read the transcript of the Project 2025 purge agenda to "appreciate" what sort of "big picture" the draconian zealots of lawless Utopianism intend to implement toward a global government of evil, not just in America. Grifting kleptocrats, the purposefully ineffective know-nothings of government, are being tapped for "service" as I type but on an acting basis so that they can be fired at an overlord's quixotic will - and so that revealing confirmation hearings can be avoided.

US to Enter a Period of Saturnian Misrule

As for the combination of Venus and Saturn in Politics and Business, let's quote Michael Munkasey for more information via the Hegelian Dialectic which describes how anti-societal actors create problems, then "solve" them as they intended to all along:

Let's take a look at the natal planets of lawman Tom Homan, Mr. Trump's choice as "border czar" once his draconian Project 2025 purge agenda gets underway in 2025.

Born in West Carthage, New York on November 28, 1961, the natal Moon of Thomas Douglas Homan remained in Leo for the entire 24 hours of the day, and with Sun in early Sagittarius, baby Tom was and remains a volatile, dramatic double Fire individual, a good blend for law enforcement as are his Mercury and Pluto in mutual reception (surveillance; obsession with delving into people's secrets). Meanwhile, his Sun-Mars Conjunction ruled by expansive Jupiter provides Mr. Homan with plenty of energy for chasing crime, engaging in a variety of physical activities, and such.

So in lieu of an accurate birth time, here's the 12:00 pm est natal horoscope of America's new "border czar," Tom Homan - unless Trump quirkily changes his mind; notable is his 18 North Solar Eclipse Series for which we need no accurate birth time, only a date:

Additionally, Mr. Homan's Sun-Mars duo is squared by both Uranus and Pluto so you'll spy a few notations penned on the chart relating to potentials for ruthless energy, militarism, and force.

Then another signficant notation on the chart is his Jupiter-Saturn duo (government officials; politicians; lawmen; clergymen), the midpoint of which now has transit Pluto @29Capricorn activating the duo's energies in society. Not for the traditional checks 'n' balances, but for possibilities of violent changes, immense effort, separation, and/or restriction (R. Ebertin).

Of course, before any of this can poise upon the edge of reality, Mr. Homan must first navigate the choppy waters of the Trump administration's appointment process which, as we've seen in the past, is inherently unstable and dependent upon erratic, fantasy-prone individuals.

Cosmic Blinks: 2025's "Wild Card" Eclipses

Viewing Year 2025 through the cosmic lens of the year's disruptive "Wild Card" Eclipses reveals emphases on the signs of Aries (one solar) and the Virgo-Pisces victim-savior axis (one solar, both lunars). This spotlights or activates the planets Mars (Aries), plus, Mercury, Jupiter and Neptune (Virgo-Pisces) for Cosmic Blink imperatives sent from Above. Changes of direction in earthly events will likely occur and secrets and/or inconveient facts are set to be uncovered.

So today, for my Friday end-of-the-week post, you see below a dual image of the two Solar Eclipses of 2025 in the 9 New North and the 9 New South Saros Series, along with a dual image of both Total Lunar Eclipses of 2025.

And below are the Lunar Eclipses. As you see, the first eclipse of 2025 is the Total Lunar Eclipse of March 14th @23Vir56 which conjuncts US 1776 Neptune and squares our 1776 Mars in Gemini. This eclipse ruffles our nation's problematic Mars-Neptune square with its "unconscious habit patterns not appropriate to present reality" (Sakoian and Acker), plus, misdirected motivations, and the fog of war.

Underlying it all is the Moon-Neptune pairing which suggests potentials for refined feelings, subconscious stirrings, faulty assimilation of impressions, illusions and self-deception, oversensitivity, a lack of confidence, strange notions (R. Ebertin) - and the same old mass delusion aligned with our beguiling fantasy that Tr*mp will continue to exploit to the utmost:

Moon, Jupiter, America 2024

By now the world knows that Donald Tr*mp has coup'd the White House and will be inaugurated into office (his hand on the Bible? How so? Will it be held upside down?) via the Presidential Oath to protect and defend the US Constitution, the freedom document he plans to toss in a trash bin, our civil rights with it. Only czarish oaths to his nibs will have any meaning for Mr. Tr*mp and for VP Vance who will follow him - Vance, put in position by billionaire Peter Thiel. Members of the billionire class have invested a lot of bucks and have big plans for Mr. Vance.

To astrologers not enthralled to the harsh authoritarian mindset, Be Ready To Defend America even as we look back with sad disbelief at yesterday's election and the November 1st predictive New Moon in Scorpio, sign of betrayal. On a personal note, my uncles who fought Nazis in WWII and my Revolutionary War ancestors who sacrificed, fought, and died to help set up this country are cruelly dishonored, if they could know about this fascist coup. Instead, I must know on their behalves. And so I write SO'W for 18+ years while hoping for a better America.

As for Eclipse Cycles repeating through the years and rhyming via similar historical events, 2024 Eclipses are repeating from 1934 in the 8 North and 8 South Series, the year that Herr Ad*lf became president of Germany, if you get my drift; here's the horoscope with astro-notes penned on:

No, our fight for freedom and democracy isn't over, it's beginning!

Yet with the current fascist ascension, we must expect a time of trouble with wild cards such as El*n Mu*k and B*bby Kenn*dy, Jr lined up to take over various departments of government to kleptocratically ruin and embezzle what they can. That's if faithless Tr*mp keeps his promises to them. Subsequently, a Large Looting will ensue with or without them, so a global financial crash is expected, and the crypto-currency hoax will be favored to undermine the US dollar.

Then another cash cow for thieves will be our social safety net programs, now at risk more than ever before, and this itself will undermine the US economy since consumerism and buying power will be significantly reduced or taken away. Obviously, much suffering will result for seniors and others, and America's enemies will be so proud of their favorite insurrectionist fox back in the hen house where he can commit the American Carnage he threatened on Inauguration Day 2017 (horoscope shown). Plus, as you know, the Catholics on the Supreme Court gave him a pass for criminal acts. Word is, prosecutor Jack Smith has closed his investigations of the orange felon and has packed his bags.

Election 2024

So! Very badly done, male voters of America - and the Latino voters who pulled up the ladder behind themselves. You succumbed to the influence of the brooding Scorpio Moon of Inauguration 2017, and allowed moneybags Jupiter in duplicitous Gemini Rx and moving back and forth among Tr*mp's 10th house Sun-North-Node-Uranus trio to seduce you and pretend to add to your bottom lines. Good luck with that, you'll need it with the orange grifter back in the White House running roughshod over our society, animated by the revenge on his mind. You assume that you and yours will be spared his wrath but that's yet to be seen. Look up "cut off nose to spite face" in the dictionary and there you'll be.

Plus, even more women can ble*d out in parking lots for lack of health care, chumps.

Yet another factor may be that the traditional apathy of the American people took over and voters stayed home on the sofa so that others could do the lifting. We discussed this in a vintage Jude's Threshold post concerning the unconscious Uranus-Neptune square of July 4, 1776. (Count their positions backward from Neptune @22Virgo to Uranus @9Gemini; the post displays a Scorpio Rising horoscope but the positions of both planets are the same). This hidden square seems to me to be one of multiple astrological indicators influencing yesterday's pivotal situation, and others past, present, and future.

And though it's beyond the scope of this post, we can even look back as far as certain Jamestown Colony conditions of 1619 if we have the time and interest to do so.

Now here's a bit about the Sabian Symbol of the (2017 and) 2025 Scorpio Moon/s:

9 Scorpio+ rounded-up to "10 Scorpio": "A Fellowship Supper Reawakens Unforgettable Ties": "FRATERNITY; negative expression: surrender of individual distinction and exaltation of naive animality" (Jones). However, the "fraternity" may not be the pro-society kind, more like the hooded kind.

Additionally, here are Horoscopes of the Solar and Lunar Eclipses that influenced Election 2024 and which continue to do so. The first perfected in muddle-headed Pisces, then the 8 South Solar Eclipse manifested with its difficult themes of loss, separation, and sad partings (B. Brady). Astrologers warned but not enough voters listened. Or, too many voters are fans of racism, sadism, Plutonian animalism and criminality on steroids, as it turns out.

Meanwhile, a target is on the US Constitution, as you know, so it may be significant that the freedom document's next Jupiter Return occurs in 2025 - on May 19th to be exact. The document's current return period began on June 5, 2013 @25Gem22 - and Jupiter was conjunct South Node (1Can09) in 1787, with mundane Jupiter being the planet of freedom, freedom of movement, a freedom movement, expansion, and exploration. Yes, Election 2024 Jupiter is in Gemini, as noted, but retrograde. This backward condition did not aid the Harris-Walz Campaign with its freedom slogan and campaign song by Beyonce.

America's Chiron Return: The First and the Current

As you may know, Election 2024 is occurring during America's current Chiron Return, a three-fer series that began April 20, 2024 (DC Horoscope shown, other dates listed).

Well, as the Cosmos has it - and since history tends to rhyme - America's very first Chiron Return/s (also a three-fer due to retrogradation) occurred in 1825 into 1826 @20Ari08 (as in 1776). The rounded-up degree's Sabian Symbol for "21 Aries" is "A Pugilist Entering the Ring." This word picture sounds like a contentious political campaign and subsequent election of a president, doesn't it? Or, make that selection.

Back in 1776, the pugilism obviously referred in large part to the then-ongoing American Revolution, what scofflaw Utopian anarchists are aiming to foment again - except that this time around, the 'maga' anarchists and their enablers represent economic royalists, aka, corporatists and wealthy elitists, and are not American patriots as some of them pretend to be.

So, considering that tomorrow is the very pivotal Election Day 2024, you may wish to read about the political events of 1825 and 1826 when the House of Representatives chose John Quincy Adams for the role. Why? Because no candidate received a majority of Electoral College Votes, a situation that may resemble conditions we face now in 2024, thanks to the current crop of Utopian anarchists who are fascistic and determined to complete the drive for world domination that their idol Herr Ad*lf began decades ago. The little dictator so wanted to coup America!

Well, in case a reader may wish to check out the horoscopes of America's very first Chiron Return/s of the wounded healer centaur, here's a tri-wheel of them so that the dates are readily available. For America's Horoscope, I've used the July 4, 1776 5:09 pm LMT Philadelphia, PA data (with Aries Point conjunct IC) but use whichever data you choose with mildly varying results from what you see here; Symbol information is penned on - negative expression because of the crude bullies our nation is currently infested with:

In closing, here are two additional factors to consider:

1. As with planetary returns, the July 4, 1776 aspects to Chiron repeat whenever Chiron returns to its 1776 degree. They are: squares from Sun and Mercury, a sextile from Mars, and an opposition from Saturn which is the more problematic aspect since it reveals issues with authority (monarchical) and with authenticity - you know, like we have now with bullies and crooks trying to take over leadership of our Ship of State and toss out the US Constitution We the People depend on.

2. If we relocate these first-ever Chiron Return charts for Washington DC, we find a few critical 29th degrees involved which will resonate with the current 29th degree condition of transit Pluto in governmental Capricorn, ruled by Saturn, planet of the law and order and our court system which the anarchists want to entirely dispense with and return America to some sort of a "wild west" free-for-all, with guns ablazin'.

119th Congress: Jeffries or Johnson?

Placing the noon Horoscope of the 119th Congress (January 3, 2025) inside bi-wheels with natal horoscopes of House Minority Leader Hakeem Jeffries and current Speaker of the House and election denier, maga Mike Johnson produces plenty of food for thought, as they tend to say. This we did at the end of September 2024 so you may wish to check out the bi-wheels, if you have a moment.

Of course, hopefully there will be results from the 2024 Election prior to the swearing in of the 119th Congress so the identity of the House Speaker will be known even if Tr*mp's sore loser disputes continue as expectably they will. And of course, Hakeem Jeffries is the new Speaker only if the victor is Kamala Harris!

A quirky way to predict Election 2024?

So many astrologers, so many methods to forecast the winner of Election 2024! Or at least ways to describe the trends therein. One premium factor to consider is the New Moon prior to the Election which just perfected this morning @9Sco35 at 8:47:06 am edt. And basically, it's a Lunar Return to the 2017 Inauguration Moon with its "unforgettable ties."

Well, this post presents a rather quirky or unorthodox method regarding the Election using Composite/Davison horoscopes and utilizing the midpoint pictures that form from the composite horoscopes for both Kamala Harris and for Donald Trump blended with the Election 2024 chart. Please note that if other astrologers have used this method for election outcomes, I am unaware of it; they may inform me if they wish!

Because combining (averaging) each individual's natal horoscope with the Election Day 2024 (November 5th) Horoscope (here I'm using 8:00 pm est charts but have also checked Election Day at 8:00 am and the moment that Election Day Moon reaches 00Cap00:00 at 10:17:17 am est) produces midpoint pictures that reveal, not so much a victor, but shows the conditions and the atmosphere that result if VP Harris wins the office, vs a Herr Trump "win".

So below for your consideration are the composite midpoint pictures with astro-notes penned on; hopefully, my scribbles are readable. Rather than a predictive method, the pictures reveal trends and conditions for VP Harris and for Tr*mp - if or when each 2024 candidate wins the White House, and, despite an extended period of dispute with one candidate already calling the 2024 Election "rigged" against him, my sincere hope for America is that the positive expressions, highlighted in blue, will prevail for the sake of the common good - and for freedom from oppression:

Also a must for best results: a blue tsunami of voters for both House and Senate!

Recommended: read the plutonic, draconian, power-crazed Project 2025 agenda intended to destroy our social safety net programs (as economic royalists have determined to do since FDR created them), purge, imprison, and/or execute Americans including civil servants, exile or imprison blue voters, dissolve the US Constitution and our rights with it, bring hardship and loss to the populace, crash the US economy and shove crypto-currency upon the banking system while draining the National Treasury dry via El*n Mu*k, and commit more criminal mayhem however they wish. Oh! And they wish to return the entire world to a Dark Age feudal system of enslavement, misery, and monarchy.

And should their nazi-style agenda be implemented, Put*n and other enemies of America would be so pleased with their anti-democracy handiwork.

Astrology of South Africa

Below is a dual image of two horoscopes: South Africa - Constitution (lower left; source Dr. Liz Greene), and the 14 North Solar Eclipse (upper right) in which South Africa became a constitutional entity. 14N themes are listed thereupon and include "a peculiar turn of events; confusion; despair" (B. Brady).

Then upper right corner you'll find a few notes such as the last 14N Eclipse which occurred on November 25, 2011 @2Sag36 and became known in the US as The Sequestration Eclipse when Congress formed a so-called "Super Congress" of chicanery meant to enforce austerity upon the American people in this, the richest country in the world. With their unorthodox way of "cutting the budget", it goes without saying that Republicans (now Libertarians) were behind the sinister push in 2011 just as they are in 2024 into 2025. Subversion then, subversion now.

Meanwhile, for anyone who has yet to notice, austerity and loss (for us, not for the elites) are exactly what the Trump-Musk-Vance trio want to shove upon us with their neo-nazi-style "Project 2025" purging agenda of brutality, suffering, and loss - if these racist Libertarian zealots can muscle their way into power in a few days via the November 5th Election, cheating and threatening as they go. Perhaps we can agree, dear reader, that their cruel fascist absurdities cannot be allowed in America.

Apartheid and Austerity

Please Note: due to my ongoing relocation to a different apartment, my online time since last week has been sparse so pardon me for plopping these two horoscopes here with little more than the astro-notes I've penned on them. Except to say that the charts may be useful to a student or an astrologer or two, and that apartheid South Africa is where Elon Musk ("Leon"!) grew up until the ripe old age of 17 years. Nowadays, as the richest man in the world, as I'm told, he's part of the maga agenda to crash America's economy and global financial systems with it - like "Bond villains"! - ostensibly to destroy the US dollar and thereby institute a crypto-currency system, no matter who gets hurt or who starves to death. For as everyone knows, during times of extreme chaos, massive reforms can be enforced that otherwise could never occur.

Because as I've fussed for years on SO'W, Tr*mp's cult of personality is a death cult echoing how the Nazis in Germany behaved back in the 1930s and 1940s - until the criminals were stopped in their tracks.

See Musk says Americans will have to face "hardship" if Trump wins. What self-destructive fools will vote for that? In cosmic terms, "hardship" is a facet of the harsh, compressive Saturn-Pluto pairing of evil which you'll remember met in Great Conjunction on January 12, 2020 @22Cap46 - conjunct the natal Vertex (22:51) of Herr Trump, a point of fated encounters.

Significantly for South Africa, Apartheid legislation was repealed on June 17, 1991 and bi-racial elections were held in April 1994.

Now in closing, you may wish to have a glance at the B-rated natal chart of Elon Reeve Musk, if you haven't already. You'll see his Sun @5Can53 rising with the Ascendant in South Africa's constitutional horoscope, shown above, and his natal Moon @8Virgo opposed by Saturn @9Pisces, the victim-savior axis in the same 1994 chart. Yet knowing little about the erratic fellow born during a Saturn-Neptune opposition (possible criminal tendencies? A. Oken), El*n was about 23 years old in 1994 yet I'm uncertain exactly how or if these contacts matter very much, but there it is. What I do know is that when Saturn opposes natal Moon it's a very depressive, oppressive, melancholy period of time in anyone's life.
