Fabulous news! An older than dirt Mayan Calendar has been found in the deepest jungle and its moon cycles and other calculations do not support the hype over the alleged Mayan 'prophecy' of the end of the world occurring at Winter Solstice 2012, the Galactic Center Alignment we've all been waiting for. No seriously, we have.

And curiously (for astrologers!), one of the archaeologists involved in the amazing discovery (click link above for smashing photos) is William Saturno. How's that for being aptly named since Saturn rules rocks, stones, dirt, old relics, and the study of Archaeology itself? Wonder if he knows of this synchronicity...

Will Greece leave EU as Venus Transits Sun?

Of Venus Transits and Unions with Feet of Iron and Clay

When Venus transits or occults (like a little black speck) our solar system's Sun, associations and alliances which aren't quite normal or usual tend to be formed as has been noted since Venus Transits were recorded. Thirty-one years ago, on January 1, 1981, Greece joined the EU and Constantine Karamanlis stated that Greeks were being "called to build the new Europe."

He believed, or propagandized that he believed, that "the unification of Europe will be the greatest political event in the history of our continent. For it will stabilise relations between the powers of the world, it will guarantee Europe's independence and contribute to the strengthening of world order and peace." (My italics.)

Wow! There was a lot riding on Greece's entry into the EU though the part about "world order" kind of gives the game away, doesn't it? Tsk on these eternal Utopians and their Great Plan for Global Domination! The EU has been a 'new world order' experiment on a grand scale but cracks are showing.

Plus, if you believe in Bible prophecy such as that found in Daniel and Revelation, you may remember King Nebuchadezzar's dream which Daniel, through God's inspiration, interpreted for him as being "a great image" with a head of fine gold, breast and arms of silver, belly and thighs of brass, legs of iron, and feet part of iron and of clay. (Daniel 2:31-33.)

My studies indicate that the image's feet of iron and clay represent the kingdoms of the European continent after the break-up of the Roman Empire, and to the King Daniel declared, "They shall not cleave to one another, even as iron is not mixed with clay."

Yet for centuries powerful men such as Charlemagne, Charles V, Napoleon, Kaiser Wilhelm, Hitler--and the EU boys--have attempted to overthrow Daniel's prophecy by uniting Europe. And in recent decades they've pretended--or convinced themselves--that the feat had been accomplished.

We who now live may not see the break-up of iron and clay--the European Union--or, Greece and perhaps other member nations may fall away right before our very eyes as an expectable result of the current 'European debt crisis' and the vexing, cruel austerity measures which powerful men, who lack for nothing but consciences and compasssion, have now put in place to weed out the populations of Europe.

So this reluctant astrologer is keeping a close watch on the June 5/6, 2012 Venus Transit as a timing mechanism relating to an unusual forming or break-up of association since the 2012 Transit is the 8-years-later companion to that of June 2004, a Venus Transit which also occurred during a much-touted world-leader summit (Sea Island, Georgia) as will this one. And since astrological Venus relates to valuations, money, relationship, and the attraction principle, we shall see if Greece stays in or leaves the EU, their mutual attraction dissolved.

There may be hope for the EU, however, later in the year since the November 13, 2012 Solar Eclipse has a "joy through commitment" flavor which may portend the above-mentioned "strengthening" of the Union, a temporary circumstance at best, no matter how gloriously their and our politicians choose to spin it for their own world order purposes.

Default Theater returns and the Eclipses of 2012

Reuters reports on the "fiscal cliff" that Washington 'lawmakers' are in process of setting up for January 1, 2013, a re-run of Summer 2011's dramatic debt limit-default theater that caused the US credit rating to be downgraded thanks primarily to Tea Party members of Congress and those who bankroll them.

Yes, these are basically the same tax and budget matters left over from 2011, a summer with two Solar Eclipses one month apart (June 1 and July 1. The issues must be re-negotiated in November and December 2011--just in time for Election Day November 6, 2012 and the Solar Eclipse of November 13, 2012 (more on that later including its horoscope set for Capitol Hill; see 2012 Eclipse list below.)

For shopping and the US economy (assuming America has an economy by then once these play-acting jokers get done scoring what they hope are points on November 6), we may find Christmas 2012 to be a casualty of Washington along with the paychecks of the working class, plus there's Winter Solstice 2012 and the Galactic Center Alignment to be concerned about, if you pay attention to such things.

Well, I do declare! How easy to type scathingly when you're in a major snit of miffdom over a most sorry US Congress and the super-corrupt system of government that certain operatives and agents have engineered to fail on purpose!

Well, apparently some financial titans don't use Astrology (or even pay someone who does)--or, they collapse financial conditions according to a schedule due to an over-arching 'Great Plan' long set in motion so that chaos will result and a Global Economic Order of Orwellian proportions can be set up, they think. Yes, thanks to The Great Cosmic Clock that is our Solar System, Astrology helps anti-social miscreants time their actions (bubbles, busts, take-overs, etc) in positive or negative fashion. Motives count!

In a Wall Street Weather article linked below, you'll find among other things, mention of the London trader ('The London Whale') who set JPMC's massive loss in motion by trading murky derivatives of sorry merit and the result is causing many to call for the return of Glass-Steagall provisions. But why in London?

Well, in previous posts on this blog, perhaps you've read of the City of London (a financial area which, like the Vatican, is a legal territory unto itself) acting as director of the government of the United States of America. An astro-indicator I have long used for this crazy notion is America's out-of-bounds Pluto 27Cap33 Rx (in our natal 2nd House of Money and Values) showing wealthy plutonians of power existing abroad in the old country--Capricorn--and pulling secretive strings in the US to which our politicians and Fed bankers have danced, and continue to dance. (Ex: trillions of our bailout monies circa 2008/09 were sent by the US Fed to entities and banks abroad--yet now the EU is all 'broke' and everything--except for Germany, it seems. Wonder where the trillions went? Did European monarchs scarf it up? As you know, June 24, 2012 brings earthlings the first of seven exact squares of frustration and unrest between upstart Uranus and Pluto the powerful (from Aries to Capricorn, a difficult Mars-Saturn, stop-go vibration.) These two generational planets' current cycle began with three Great Conjunctions in the mid-1960s in mid-Virgo, discriminating sign of The Critic, and of Work, Health, and Service. Virgo's 'The Virgin' archetype appears often in the iconography of America and is usually shown holding a sheaf of wheat. Ceres, Columbia, Mary, and Isis are a few of Virgo's many faces as well and the constellation's stars link our nation with Egyptian myths and goddesses along with an older goddess, Innana whose planet is Venus, now implicated in the Mayan Calendar long count which ends December 21, 2012 at Winter Solstice's alignment with Galactic Center. Well, today is May 11 but solar eclipses astrologically can influence conditions for up to two weeks prior to eclipse manifestion and they often bring The Hidden to light, as you know--plus, keywords for the current Solar Eclipse of November 25, 2011 @ 2Sag37 include "A peculiar turn of events." To add complexity to current conditions, these two Solar Eclipse degrees are opposite one another (00Gem21 v 2Sag37) thus yoking their indications.

Even candidate Mitt Romney's bullying ways in high school are now uncovered in the Washington Post (yet he seems so mild!) I say 'alleged' because in all my years, some of the most charitable folk I've known were of the Catholic persuasion--and they never stinted anyone they could aid by putting their religious faith in action on behalf of the disadvantaged or those in temporary dire straights.

Campaign 2012's Opponents--or Is It Really Only We vs Them?

As you know, many charges against opponents and parties are being leveled back and forth during Campaign 2012 as was to be expected since this tactic keeps the electorate riled up and divided moer than informed and thus less potent to act against a ruling class greedy for more power and wealth. The charges include such taboos in America as Socialism, Communism, Trotskyism, Social Darwinism, and other systems, ideologies, and methods of governing. ("I know you are but what am I?" Insert childish, self-serving footstamp for dramatic effect. This is badly performed Political Theater, dahlink.)

So as you see, this is part of my topic here for all of these systems, ideologies, and methods belong precisely within the realm of the Saturn-Neptune pair when their energies combine. Plus, you know of the secret/invisible (Neptune) government (Saturn) which America is said to be directed by--in Britain they go ahead and call it a Shadow Government though in the US our politicians act more coyly and never discuss such a mysterious system if it can be avoided; plus, my studies continue to indicate that London has been ruling America all along! Or did you know?

Making matters more complex, as many astrologers have already detailed, is the astrological factor of US Secondary Progressed Moon 14Lib42 now approaching our Sec Mars Rx in Sec 2nd house (exact in about 3 months but within orb now)--and Luna is already knocking on the gate of US natal Saturn 14Lib48--Moon-Saturn can show ambition, strategy, and direction, but also depressive, limiting conditions.

Add US Sec Neptune 26Vir14 Rx in Sec 2nd H as well and you have the above-mentioned depression, pessimism, and suffering, along with the fraud and sad losses of idealistic Neptune in Virgo, sign of Dedicated Work, Employment, Service--and 2nd H = Earning Ability and Values. Its our traditional values of providing aid for the needy (aka, a Christian nation and attitude) that Ryan and his ilk are working to transform along with an attempt to free up funds for more war on behalf of a 'new world order' and for the wealthy class to wallow about in like greedy pigs. Plus, indicators of floods, other expensive weather-related losses, problems with oil, gas, toxins, and poisons are shown by gaseous Neptune, as you know.

Worrisomely, our natural gas pipeline system is under cyber-attack as I type, reports USA Today, Christian Science Monitor, and NPR. Astrologically, this circumstance, in effect since 2011 apparently, shows in certain horoscopes (protagonist Mars in 9th H of Foreign Lands) and I plan to discuss the topic more fully later on if my blogging calendar permits.

Well, US Sec Mars 18Lib30 Rx (retrograde by progression since 2006) has re-turned some of our troops home but has also brought protests by, and military and police actions against, the American people. The current Sec Moon-to-Mars factor indicates the anger, rage, protests, and riled up feelings and actions that are expectable whenever the emotionally charged duo of Moon and Mars get together; and maybe more Americans will soon sign up for military service in lieu of employment at home. Plus, in Politics and Business, Michael Munkasey gives the Moon-Mars duo a potential for: 'leaders who show concern about the welfare of people but don't necessarily follow through with relief'! Wonder who that could be?

In addition, US natal Saturn's presence in Sec 2nd H adds austerity, loss, delay, depression, control, and restriction to our difficult financial picture, and I for one hope and pray that America will not fall underneath the crushing boots of the cruel policies of ideologues of either political party (Tea Party members very much included) who brazenly place abstract systems of thought (such as Social Darwinism with its anti-social 'survival of the fittest' meanness, and the Objectivism of Ayn-Randers like Paul Ryan) far above their fellow Americans' very lives. Well, except that Objectivists act not as Americans, do they?

Now let's close with two Sabian Symbols which are quite descriptive of conditions in America 2012 and of certain detached politicians who now scorn their social responsibilities (tell me again: why are they 'serving' in Washington as representatives of The People?) Meanwhile they act as part of the political arm of globalist world-domination schemers rather than representing us! positive: alertness to every threat against a true individuality;

negative (shadow side): abnormal mistrust of everything worth while.
