Maoists terrorizing India

Are you aware that Maoists are terrorizing parts of India? Well, I wasn't and am saddened to hear of it.

In fact, I have missed the ball on the Naxalites all together, lucky you're there to guard my back on the throw. Turns out, the Maoist political party was founded on September 21, 2004. It was in mid-August 2004 that Pluto and Chiron were parallel for two days and of course, Pluto/Chiron is the epitome of disenfranchisements of all kinds with oppression tossed in to make certain those victimized go down and stay down.

(Parallels may be used as timing devices in Astrology and are similar in nature to a strong conjunction.)

You will notice, if you click on the Maoist info link, that 'Sept 21, 1967' falls under the spell of the major Great Conjunction which defined the energies of the 1960s: Uranus conjunct Pluto.

Disruptor Uranus met saboteur Pluto 3 times in the mid-60s:

1. Oct 9, 1965 @17Vir10
2. April 4, 1966 @16Vir28
3. June 30, 1966 @16Vir06

My point is that astrologers tend to look at the beginning of planetary cycles to see where in that cycle the same planets are on a particular date. Similar themes, issues, and concerns will come to the surface especially during 'quarters' times...the waxing squares (90 degrees, crisis in action phase), the opposition (180 degrees: stand-off, culmination, and/or partnership), and the waning square (also 90 degr, crisis in consciousness phase.)

The long-term Cardinal T-Square pattern (Spring 2010 - 2014/15) contains within it the ongoing Saturn-Uranus cycle now at opposition phase off and on, the Saturn-Pluto cycle, now at waning square phase (Libra to Cap), and the Uranus-Pluto cycle, now approaching exact square (partile) with one another in this their dance of shockingly deep energies. As Uranus screeches across the Aries Point from sedate, surreptitious Pisces, 'scientific breakthroughs' will be announced or discovered (as noted on this blog previously as, Uranus = AP.)

Aries to Capricorn: hard work, frustrations, and delays? (Mars-Saturn)

Once again the Saturn-Uranus puzzle of old vs new supports the prominence of the current Uranus-Pluto square - it is the most prominent of the titanic battles going on over our noggins for it is the rarest of those now in play. Aries, the first sign of Spring, the pioneering adventurer discovering and claiming new vistas -vs- Capricorn, the manager, so set in his ways and fond of tradition, status quo, and gilt-edged securities.

So we are now called upon the deal with and hopefully successfully manage the energies of the crisis in consciousness phase of the electrifying, stupefying Uranus-Pluto Conjunction of the 1960s with all the issues, themes, and record albums of the day. Oh, and the protests, demonstrations, and riots from those days, too.

This is well the time to get questions of equality and freedom right!

President signs Health Insurance Reform Bill w/ Neptune to US Moon: 3.23.10

22 Signing Pens, 2 per letter.

While I was typing the following post, President Obama signed into law his Health Insurance Reform legislation at 11:55 am edt, White House, with South Node 17Can59 in 1st house which indicates the historical nature of the signing event. However, SN rising can indicate difficulties keeping the bill anchored into being for SN has a separative, Saturnian effect.

And yet, Saturn adores laws and regulations! US natal Venus (valuable commodities) is rising with our natal Jupiter in tow.

ASC '3Can' = "A Man All Bundled Up in Fur Leading a Shaggy Reindeer."

Mercury, ruler of signings, bills, agreements, trade and commerce is nearing Midheaven @ 12Aries04...'13Ari' = "A Bomb Which Failed to Explode Is Safely Concealed." Hmm. Might this describe something hidden in the bill that we're not going to like, or to a rescue of our tottering health care system? Or perhaps both?

The ongoing T-Square between Sun/Saturn and apex Pluto is morphed into a Grand Cross in time for the bill signing ceremony: Moon, Sun, Saturn, and Pluto...dynamic efforts amount to high achievements!

At 11:55 am edt, a 1st house Moon '6Can' conjoins US natal Jupiter indicating much publicity for the event - and happy people across the land having a reigning need fulfilled (except in smokey GOP dens of his opponents and those citizens emotionally activated by undermining rhetoric against a Dem President.) Well, I for one hope the reforms aid someone besides special interests and old manipulative string-puller, Pluto.

Perfecting during the glad-handing and pen-sharing that took place in the minutes after the bill was signed is a midpoint picture that includes the Sun (leader):

Sun/Uranus = MC (The Goal): reformers, inventors, technicians; restless people with far-reaching plans; experiencing the impact of sudden events; major events in support of big plans (NWO? DNA collection for all?); hopeful triumph for the ego.

In his midpoints book, Michael Munkasey says that Sun/Uranus energies were in effect at the time the first-ever Medicaid patient applied to the program! #

My original post begins here with no edits because I gotta motor into the city:

Ever since Health Insurance Reform was passed (and sent on to the Senate March 21, 2010) it's been bothering me that this week's entire political theater production on Capitol Hill has been performed with transiting Neptune sitting directly upon America's natal Moon (we-the-people; 27AQ10.) Confusions, deceptions (including self-deception), fraud, and propaganda have been coming upon us for some time given Neptune's slow-mo movements but now that the gaseous giant is here, we get Health Insurance Reform, and possibly financial reform, too.

Since the numbers of health care workers needed are not available to attend to the new 'millions' who will soon have insurance, and since the bill's cost savings are more than a little squirrelly, I'm feeling more than a little like we've been had by the 'shell game' the GOP has accused the Obama administration of using for this giant legislation. Of course, around this blog, it takes one shell gamer to know one, so the Republicans obviously know whereof they gamingly speak.

The Neptune to natal Moon transit has been detailed here previously but in case you, lone reader, have landed here for the first time, let's consider it again.

First, a Neptune transit has ab orb of influence and, as I said, it's been coming on a while and will be in effect a while longer. The transit includes such things as a sense of rootlessness, losing homes to foreclosure, dissolving of commitments (and of contracts made by and for the people) - all in all, an unstable period for everything that relates to the Moon, the body which signifies the people in a national chart. Plus, Neptune relates to mass media, with various toutings being brought to us by...Neptune, the illusionist.

Stability for this legislation will have to be brought by other factors for Neptune-to-n-Moon isn't good anchorage for staying power. And we know that repeal arguments are being rehearsed as I type so we may never hear the end of it. Great. Mr. Obama's opponents will do what they can to undermine the bill's effectiveness, too, no matter what it costs the American people for the GOP to score political points while clawing their way into office.

Yes, multiple mysteries abound with Neptune to US n Moon, posited in our n 3rd house of Communications, Neighborhoods, Grade Schools, Siblings, and the Lower Mind; third house also relates to health through the mind-body connection so with Tinkerbell Neptune's magic wand touching us, perhaps we have health insurance if we simply believe we do - or, with Neptune's more rare dreams-can-come-true effect, perhaps this legislation will catalyze improvements in our health care system which are sorely needed. Neptune might, but the motivations of the people involved are a quite a different question.

And yet it's hard to pinpoint what one really wants with Neptune sitting all over one's Moon, for the Moon rules our reigning needs; ours is in Aquarius, a transpersonal sign of brotherhood. Giving all Americans access to better health care (at the point when it's needed, not after the disease-ridden horses have escaped the barn and it's too late to be saved - 'saved' is a Neptunian word, as is 'escaped') - access for all Americans is one of the touts of this legislation from the Obama administration (the touters.) Perhaps 32 million Americans will soon agree.

However, Neptune to natal Moon is a time when conditions are difficult if not impossible to diagnose including physical complaints, or, the wrong diagnosis may be given. Hopefully, this does not describe the Health Insurance Reform legislation that's about to become the law of the land while curing what ails us. (It did become law at 11:55 am edt, see above Update.)

But will the reforms deliver a wrong diagnosis?

Without addressing health care costs rising into the stratosphere, the 'savings' of this bill over time may not help matters much on that score, yet I hope the bill's magical effects are more real than they seem at present especially since there's another dreamy Neptunian thing that tends to accompany a Neptune to n Moon transit: loss through theft and/or carelessness.

One major theft we know of already: the public option has been stolen from the bill! And my concern about nationwide DNA collection may be considered theft if a patient is unaware of it. (After your DNA is snagged, it belongs to them, not you.)

That Neptune rules drugs, legal and otherwise, isn't comforting either unless the transit brings us medical marijuana for those who need an appetite boost, mood lift, and pain relief for their serious conditions. That would be a positive outcome, imo, although you may disagree. My feeling is that if a person is dying or suffering grievously, what business is it of mine - or the government's - to cruelly dictate what he may take to lessen his misery.

Well, here's an article on the subject of the health insurance reform bill. It asserts that the reform is from the top down rather than from the 'bottom up' as we've heard from the Obama administration (like Neptune's wand from on-high: presto change-o, you're covered! But with what?)

Yes, the bill's reforms have been fashioned by Washington think tanks behind the American people's backs...such a perfect description of veiling Neptune to US natal Moon...'tanks' being a watery Neptunian word.

Message from the President on Health Insurance Reform passage

Here's a copy of the message that turned up in my Inbox this morning with words of thanks from President Barack Obama. Actually, I didn't do that much, really...

"For the first time in our nation's history, Congress has passed comprehensive health care reform. America waited a hundred years and fought for decades to reach this moment. Tonight, thanks to you, we are finally here.

Consider the staggering scope of what you have just accomplished:

Because of you, every American will finally be guaranteed high quality, affordable health care coverage.

Every American will be covered under the toughest patient protections in history. Arbitrary premium hikes, insurance cancellations, and discrimination against pre-existing conditions will now be gone forever.

And we'll finally start reducing the cost of care -- creating millions of jobs, preventing families and businesses from plunging into bankruptcy, and removing over a trillion dollars of debt from the backs of our children.

But the victory that matters most tonight goes beyond the laws and far past the numbers.

It is the peace of mind enjoyed by every American, no longer one injury or illness away from catastrophe.

It is the workers and entrepreneurs who are now freed to pursue their slice of the American dream without fear of losing coverage or facing a crippling bill.

And it is the immeasurable joy of families in every part of this great nation, living happier, healthier lives together because they can finally receive the vital care they need.

This is what change looks like.

My gratitude tonight is profound. I am thankful for those in past generations whose heroic efforts brought this great goal within reach for our times. I am thankful for the members of Congress whose months of effort and brave votes made it possible to take this final step. But most of all, I am thankful for you.

This day is not the end of this journey. Much hard work remains, and we have a solemn responsibility to do it right. But we can face that work together with the confidence of those who have moved mountains.

Our journey began three years ago, driven by a shared belief that fundamental change is indeed still possible. We have worked hard together every day since to deliver on that belief.

We have shared moments of tremendous hope, and we've faced setbacks and doubt. We have all been forced to ask if our politics had simply become too polarized and too short-sighted to meet the pressing challenges of our time. This struggle became a test of whether the American people could still rally together when the cause was right -- and actually create the change we believe in.

Tonight, thanks to your mighty efforts, the answer is indisputable: Yes we can.

Thank you,

President Barack Obama"

Yet is the President's legislative victory last evening clearly an historic moment?

Health Reform passing, Scorpio Rising March 21, 2010

So comprehensive health insurance reform passed Sunday night (Ds garnered 216 votes @ 11:37 pm edt) and President Obama spoke from the East Room (stuff you've heard before) from 11:46 pm edt to 11:55 pm est.

One bill goes on to the Senate for more passage, and the other lands on the President's desk for signing later in the week, last I heard. An executive order is meant to kibosh federal abortion funding that may or may not be lurking.

This evening (though it's now Monday 2:25 am edt) the Rising sign/degree over the Capitol Building at 11:37 pm edt March 21, 2010, when the vote tally passed 216 was @ 23Sco24 with Fixed Star Agena rising; Hour of Mercury 8Ari58 (votes! bills! In 5th house of Gambling and Risk-Taking); Rx Pallas (strategy; wisdom) rises in Scorpio, too, and Scorpio is the sign of surgeries, recuperation, and regeneration. And of course, snakes are the healing element symbolized on the Caduceus, associated with Mercury - and tonight the Sun conjoined Hermes, the magician and alchemist!

At Midheaven (The Goal) 4Vir46, the nation's Secondary Progressed Sun is in full view; chart-ruler Mars is tangled with Jupiter in an applying sesqui-square, an 'interlaced square' of dynamic energy. Yet there is good news for warrior Mars: he's applying to a helpful sextile with old man Saturn who now lowers his bony bones once again upon US natal MC (Sibly 00Lib53.) Accountability and responsibility for all the world to see. Wonder what the passage of this reform might do to world markets?

The Cardinal T-Square awaits Uranus to leave nebulous Pisces and reach Aries; until then, Sun-Saturn-Pluto will have to do for plutonian obstacles. If mandatory vaccinations and any kind of surreptitious DNA collection are results of this legislation with its hidden provisions snugged within, I'm going to be really annoyed. If the financial discrepancies in the final bill continue to be questioned, the bill's opponents may just be correct to doubt the legislation's funding and supposed 'cost-savings' which are projected so far into the future and are too much based on possibilities as to feel like a mighty big leap into what could be a prickly Briar Patch.

Moon 14Gem59 in 7th house of Partnerships is out-of-bounds indicating an insecure populace; even many of us who think we might end up with health reform legislation that benefits someone besides those of the wealthy class are wondering just what surprise is tucked inside its dewy pages. Moon '15Gem' = "Two Dutch Children Talking" and I'm quite certain they are.

Venus 18Ari10 conjuncts asteroid, Pandora, who tends to expand circumstances with her 'unintended consequences' rippling out into the environment...Venus, accustomed to dealing with valuable things, is excitably gambling in the 5th house.

Sun Aries/Moon Gemini is a live-wire Fire-Air blend which has three interesting Images for Integration: 'A fencing master carries off the prize...A racing driver plays the piano to relax...Hayden's Farewell Symphony.' (Sun Sign-Moon Sign, Charles & Suzi Harvey.)

The zest and quick thinking of the Aries/Gemini combo are legendary along with great entrepreneurial skills, a good eye for opportunity (an oft-repeated word tonight by Speaker Pelosi and others), and a knack for keeping things bubbling along.

Yet this blend is a starter and not much of a finisher, so other factors will need to be supplied to keep the Dems on track (Mars sextile Saturn? Sun trine Mars? Lots of talent and cooperation there.) Still, it is a blend of a 'great persuader' with a will to win and lots of courage to get the job done. The chart looks as if a lot of telephone calling went on and I believe that that would describe President Obama's role in recent days.

And 'influence of a woman' is all over the 11:37 pm edt chart as well which is no big surprise with a Democratic Speaker of the House (and other ladies) helping push the legislation through like...well, like a difficult birth.

Here are a few keywords for Agena from Anthony Louis' Horary Astrology(Agena has the nature of: VENUS, JUPITER; Mars, Mercury):

High status, honors, a good organizer; sarcasm, scandal, gossip, cleverness, and success with the masses.

All the versions of the Health Insurance Reform legislation have been watered down almost beyond recognition, but...there it is.

Astrology Day Blogathon March 19 - 21, 2010 and the Solar Eclipse of July 11, 2010

Here I sit wondering if you've dropped in yet to check out the 1st Annual International Astrology Day Blogathon March 19 - 21, 2010.

The Blogathon's Schedule of Articles leads with strong-arm Pluto taking over Friday March 19, Saturn managing his namesake day Saturday ( March 20) perfectly well and efficiently, and Uranus erking jerkily up to meet the Aries Point of Prominence, a World Point of Manifestation which can be a breakthrough position indicating most often a 'scientific breakthrough' of some kind which benefits or hinders large numbers of people, and now appearing just in time to light up Spring Equinox 2010.

Why, it's been about 84 years since revolutionary rebel Uranus, The Awakener and The Witness, streaked through this Mars-ruled area of the zodiac! The quirky, erratic Sky God of the planets can be associated with natural disasters, it must be added.

And after all, 2010 is a year of a Great Conjunction of Jupiter and Uranus thus generously expanding the principles involved in the picture: transit Uranus = AP = scientific breakthrough/s of merit and/or significance. Jupiter/Uranus has a definite light-bulb-over-head vibe for brilliant insights to suddenly stun us with their ingeniousness. Air or space travel innovations may be on the menu and scientists' work on energy sources may be on the verge of a big publicity splash.

Now I know you'll keep in mind that July 11, 2010 brings along a Solar Eclipse conjunct a difficult degree in the zodiac (Tropical) @ 19 - 20 Cancer, a critical range traditionally; plus, Castor's reputation as a troublemaker precedes him.

Here's what Anthony Louis gives for Castor in his Horary Astrology Plain and Simple: 'sudden fame or loss; murder; mental illness; crippling of limbs'.

Brady adds 'an intellectual writer' and both stars of The Twins can be inspirational muses for writers and other artistic, creative enterprises.

Pluto's degree of Discovery is around 19 - 20 Cancer as well and you know what the atomic Mr. Underworld signifies - obsessive control of all factors and schedules involved with his endeavors. Pluto keeps himself aloof and is quite neurotically anti-societal, you know, if not a gangster.

Well, generally I'd say our globe is in line for a unifying event of some kind; plus, it feels to me as if there may be multiple events of note during 2010 into 2011.

These are the reasons I want you to have the Astrology Day Blogathon 2010's link for How-To-Deal articles and insights to encourage you to pause and think a while along new tracks while appreciating for a moment another person's perspective. For as the Tarot says, if you're fortunate enough to be able to pause and consider your options, do so.

Plus, eclipses in Cancer spotlight domestic issues such as land, real estate, homes, homeland, questions of and need for security, grains/other food crops, food supply and its transport concerns, food additives, food and poultry inspection, and nurturing sources including food banks and other charities.

Cancer has its primordial links with oceans, crustaceans, and with shrewd business practices and creative talents, too.

Unfortunately, Fixed Star Castor is usually a problem when and wherever it is activated or contacted. From our earthly vantage point upon our little blue sphere a contact with Castor seems to ramp up its expression on an archetypal level. It's a bit like in the film The Mummy - an ancient archetype comes to 'life' either within one's psyche, in muliple psyches, and perhaps upon the physical plane if all factors coincide and the will is there.

In mythology, Castor is brother to Pollux, of course, the dark-light Twin Stars of Gemini, and you can toss your mouse about 3 inches and find web-based info on them all over the interweb.

Then why not sashay yourself over to an original researcher on the subject of Fixed Stars and parans, Australian astrologer Bernadette Brady? You can hardly do better! Especially if Fixed Stars warm the very cockles of your astrologer's heart.

So, Brady's Predictive Astrology gives the July 11, 2010 Solar Eclipse as being in the 12 South Series and I shall remind you that 12S is the Pre-Natal Eclipse Series during which America was founded, occurring prior to July 4, 1776. Don't you find it a helpful trait when using eclipses in your charts that a precise birth time isn't necessary with Fixed Star and paran work (such as that of Bernadette Brady) for one looks at the entire 24 hours of the day - your day, the day or night of your birth, you cute little dickens, you.

With star parans, a horoscope is divided into quarters so that a lifetime is described by quarterly markers for life's chronological phases, and the Fixed Star/s during our day of birth, if any, are linked to a particular planet (or planets) as they arose, culminated, set, and crossed the midnight point at the Base or Foundation Point of the chart, aka The Drain.

Thereby we are informed of the time period of our lives in which certain archetypes and myths (some of them inherited family myths) 'play out' and flavor our motivations and actions (either consciously or most often, unconsciously) and spark (Uranus!) and inform us so we may express their starry mythological energies (stories) in more positive ways than was done heretofore by our ancestors.

This living out archetypal energies, or as a rep for the transpersonal realm, is what I think of as the foundation of the 'past life' theories which abound in the world because this Saturnian astrologer 'sees' heredity in charts - cells and DNA, and not Marie Antoinette or her serving maid. (Addiction to cake is not conclusive evidence of 'past life' or incarnation. Nope.)

July 11, 2010 @ 3:40:17 pm edt Washington DC; ASC 16 Scorpio 05; MC 25 Leo 22 (it and its polar opposite 25 AQ 22, are degrees of Astrology, btw, as are the rest of Leo/AQ's degrees up to 30 Leo); eclipse perfects in the 8th house of Shared Resources, Debt, Credit, Insurance, Big Business, Corporations, etc, in DC.)

12S: there are influences of 'principles and justified actions' to this Series with possible feelings of melancholy; yet there will be successful outcomes to long-term worries or illness; things may at first seem worse, then clear. (As I've wondered aloud here before: will a health insurance bill of some description and/or one for financial reform actually pass in the US Congress, a body that for decades has preferred to send US treasures overseas?)

Well, here is a brief list of 12S manifestations in the last century and looking forward:

1902, 1919, 1938, 1956, 1974, 1992, and July 11, 2010; the next manifestation will be in 2028.

Well, 12S is the PE of not just America, but of President Harry Truman, the Statue of Liberty (our big honkin' Illuminati monument to Venus Columba, the Dove), and it'a also the Series in which fell Richard Nixon's resignation (good riddance.)

The Fed will be raising interest rates: Peter Schiff video

Here's a 7-minute-17-second video concerning the Fed having to raise interest rates in spite of the recession. Sad to say, 'this is only the beginning' of economic woes is supported by astrological influences over the next few years. Sorry, guys. American supremacy is basically over. Guess we got too big for our britches - and you know that pride comes before a fall.

(Ex: US Secondary Progressed Full Moon Dec 24, 2008 - a natural cycle of being extended as far as we can reasonably go in the world; pullback necessary, but so far quite ignored) unless our 'team' can manage to wrest control of the New World Order helm from other vying governments as our 'team' is struggling to do.

But if so, the American people won't like that situation either, surfs as we'll be.

Mr. Schiff is probably correct, but it's the 'will have to raise interest rates' part I don't trust because I think the Fed and other entities are behind the engineered, long-planned financial collapse of 2008, aka 'done on purpose'...transiting Pluto now in opposition to US natal Venus, then opposing natal Jupiter and later on, Pluto opposing US natal Sun, the leader. Perhaps Britain will take back the keys to the US jalopy, the keys that Congress, the bankers, and industrialists have virtually handed over to China. Yet America may need Daddy to drive.

So if the Fed 'feels compelled' by circumstances to raise interest rates, which will further squeeze the little guy and further wipe out what once was a middle class, it's because it's part of the plan to collapse the world economy and build a new (crappy) one-world-government model based on totalitarian control and founded upon the ruins, the slimey lucifer-worshiping sots.

To again paraphrase FDR: 'Nothing in Politics happens by accident. If it happens you can be sure it was meant to be that way.'

How very true.

Remembering James Madison, March 16, 1751

March 16 is the birthdate of the Architect of the US Constitution James Madison so this is a belated birthday post in his honor.

Madison was born March 16, 1751 (NS) in Port Conway, Virginia @ 11:59 pm (RR: B) and you may view his natal chart here though I published it in 2006 before I began scribbling notes all over charts (which may seem an improvement to you but the chart looks rather forlorn and empty to me.)

Even so, you'll see his Sagittarian Ascendant with Pluto Rx rising, his Sun in Pisces/Moon in Scorpio (Water-Water, an intuitive and emotional fellow), and his sparkling mental brilliance mirrored in a Mercury/Uranus conjunction in Aquarius.

The Sun Pisc/Moon Scorpio blend is shared natally by author John Steinbeck who could not possibly have been thinking of America's current reforms now in grand struggles to be born when he wrote, "It is the nature of man as he grows older...to protest against change, particularly change for the better."

Saturn and North Node in Sag are rising in 1st and speak of Madison's taking on obligations easily, having a sense of pride, an air of authority, and of honoring long-standing ties to old friends. Serious meetings are part of Saturn/NN as well and he certainly enjoined his share of those.

A focused-energy Mars in Capricorn, sign of law, government, and business is there, too, with Jupiter in Taurus giving him a fortunate-for-endeavors Mars/Jupiter trine, so check out President Madison, if you wish.

Nowadays, most Americans remember the Constitution fondly, shredded and tattered as it's become in recent decades with a big boost given to its undermining by eight years of Bush-Cheney, featuring the 'Patriot' Act, undeclared and illegal war, and, prior and subsequent to all that, a private central bank, unfondly known as the Fed, printing and minting currency and coins it has no constitutional right to print or distribute.

And that's only the short list of attacks upon our cherished-by-the-people Constitution, written to protect us from tyrants - and thus precisely one of the documents that certain entities are determined to destroy.

You'll note that Senator Chris Dodd's financial 'reform' bill announced on Monday is said to give more power to the Fed when more power to the Constitution is what we need. And that would make the Fed moot or illegal at best.

James Madison is also known for being the first US President to actually live in the White House; he moved in on November 1, 1800. No, it wasn't ideal but Dolly made do and livened up Washington considerably while making it do.

Now here is a SO'W post from 2007 with a few words from the man himself, including his last words to the American people. It's entitled James Madison on tyranny so you know right away that we need to hear from the birthday boy in 2010 in spite of his well-advanced age.

So thank you, Mr. Madison, for all your work on behalf of America's founding, and I'm very sorry that usurpers have royally screwed things up so badly. I only wish more Americans had paid much closer attention to the termites in the woodwork a lot sooner than 2010.

Spring Equinox 2010 and the Astrology of it

This Saturday's Spring Equinox 2010 has a Sun Aries/Moon Taurus blend which you may wish to consider. Plus, the article points you back here to a Stars Over Washington post containing an image of the horoscope of the precise moment the Sun 'reaches' 00Aries00, the Aries Point, in Washington DC, on March 20, 2010.

As you know, the AP is one of the four Cardinal points of the zodiac and all are places where important events tend to manifest. (Ex: the June 2001 Solar Eclipse @ 00Cancer presaged the attacks of 9/11/01.) So you may wish to go directly to the chart image of Spring Equinox 2010 where you'll spy T-squares with Pluto as apex (focal) planet. In the chart Mercury and Sun are 'stand-ins' for Uranus which soon will reach the AP, thereby giving the world this difficult midpoint picture:

Saturn/Uranus = Pluto: tremendous fear of loss; upheaval to protect assets; rebellion.

But as for Spring EQ 2010, there are three rather nasty midpoint pics formed which point directly to secret manipulator and underworld god, Pluto, as catalyst:

Sun/Saturn = Pluto: threat of loss in relationships or health; pressure to change one's entire value system; overwhelming rigidity and inflexibility; a very disciplined person who wants and attracts power; the will to retaliate against others for slights; elimination of pessimism and despair (a good one! jc);

Mercury/Saturn = Pluto: serious incidents provoke questioning of official communications; compulsion to assure that info is correct; serious communication breakdowns end business associations; feeling wiped out and resourceless; contemplating loss; grappling with special problems; brooding over one's destiny which is determined by one's plans.

Saturn/MC = Pluto: a fateful, grand struggle or a struggle ordained by destiny; attaining success only under great difficulty; great demands; fear of loss; a need to be in control at all times (Pluto! jc); great changes in life's conditions; added willpower to accomplish goals; a strong repression of your work or abilities by others. (Tyl; Ebertin; Munkasey; any, all, or none may apply but let's hope not.)

Whew! Reading these pictures in a clump makes me want to rush and counter them by reading the helpful articles available this weekend during Astrology Day Blogathon 2010, but it doesn't go Live until Friday, March 19! (March 19 - 21, 2010.)

Yet at this very moment, you may go ahead and pre-view the Blogathon's Cosmic Art Gallery with one simple click. Plus, keep it handy for you'll find links there to the Blogathon's main articles concerning how to cope with Saturn, Uranus, and Pluto as their energies square off against one another and make this decidedly not the easiest Spring season the world has ever seen.
