Week of Dec 8, 2014: Jonathan Gruber before Congress as Jupiter Rx spotlights unfortunate remarks

Obamacare on Trial, Economist Jupiter Turns Rx, and Mr. Gruber Re-turns to Testify

On Tuesday health economist Jonathan Gruber will testify to Congress concerning his recent Obamacare remarks caught on tape about the bill being passed via "trickery," an apt expression of a major transit of great influence at that time (March 2010) when tricky Neptune conjoined US natal Moon (We the People) denoting the public's complicity in speculation and, some say, fraud.

Check out an article concerning Mr. Gruber's testimony here while noting that the Neptune conjunct US natal Moon was actually rising in the legislation's signing horoscope indicating that instability, deception, and a potential for fraud were bound to appear concerning the ACA, its provisions and confusions.

Leading up to the passage of the ACA was 2009 when three times the Obama presidency was imprinted by a Great Conjunction between the wastrel, spendthrift, grand spirit, speculator pair, Jupiter and Neptune, with all three conjunctions sprinkling magic fairy dust upon the American people's natal Moon which gave the entire period of events a 'little sense of reality' vibe from which Obamacare may never recover.

And if you follow Sabian Symbols at all, you may have noted that today's Jupiter Station Rx falls @22Leo37, a degree known as an "open mouth insert foot" or "worst foot forward" indicator (A. Louis) and such a description is mentioned in the article by people who know him well as a known tendency of Jonathan Gruber who also, friends say, has no screen upon what may pop out of his mouth.

But even without applying an astrological lens to the week's congressional proceedings, we may expect the odds that Jonathan Gruber will deliver a "worst foot forward" testimony this week to be quite high which, if Republicans have their way, will lead to more turbulence and further undermining of the ACA, aka, Obamacare. Mr. Gruber may even "open mouth insert foot" deeper than he already has.

Fascinating entertainment especially for the media and results may very well supply support for what SCOTUS will soon do to the ACA's much needed subsidies which create the "affordable" part of the legislation.

Yet as usual, affordable healthcare coverage for the millions of Americans in need of it will be a casualty of tiresome Republican antics and of little if any consideration during their dramatic grandstanding on Capitol Hill.

But which Sabian Symbol describes the American people? Using the US Sibly natal chart (July 4, 1776 5:10 pm LMT Philadelphia, PA), we-the-people = '28AQ"...

Now both symbols for US Sun (the leader) and Moon (the people) can relate to the Iroquois Confederation from whence most of our 'freedom documents' were inspired...the northeast - the League of the Iroquois and the Great Law of Peace. In fact, a contemporary of Benjamin Franklin, Cadwaller Colden, wrote that the Iroquois had "outdone the Romans."

Come along as I check to see what's rising in the chart for November 16, 2010 at 2:30 pm est on Capitol Hill when the Senate Banking Committee is scheduled to open and hear testimony from the president of Bank of America Home Loans and the CEO of Chase Home Lending concerning their shady home mortgage practices which have had such dire effects upon the US economy.

For when an astrologer finds an exact time of an event, it's like waving a red cape in front of a you-know-what, right?

Obviously, a lack of follow-through would not be surprising with US senators so snugly inside the banking industry's big pockets...as 'they say' - the best Congress money can buy.

At Goal Point (Midheaven) is the transiting Pluto/NN conjunction still at its conjunction degree of November 9, 2010 (3Cap38) and with Mc @ 1Cap09, we have a midpoint picture to behold relating to The Aspiration of the Senate hearing...

Pluto/Mc = NN: the importance of connections; memberships in groups which help you achieve your purposes; getting rid of habits that retard progress; the power of influence over others; the desire to gain leadership by force within a community (by foreclosing? -jc); leadership of a group of people.

Now chart-ruler Mars 14Sag11 and Mercury 11Sag30 (11Sag+ = the degree of the Great Conjunction of the disenfranchising plutocracy duo, Pluto and Chiron, on Dec 30, 1999) apply to conjunction which is the only applying aspect of Mars. If we use the Sibly natal chart (5:10 pm LMT) for America, we have the midpoint picture from this post's title...

Mercury/Mars = n ASC: stormy proceedings; a shrewd attitude; communicating with others who have an angry demeanor. (Ebertin; Munkasey.)

Sun 24Sco20 is in the 8th house of Debt and Credit; the changeable Moon 28Pis16 has just risen and is in 12th house of Large Institutions (that are supposedly 'too big to fail'), Karma, Self-Undoing and Politics, after having sailed past the ongoing Jupiter/Uranus conjunction 23Pis30 Rx and 26Pis30 Rx, respectively.

The Senate Banking Committee hearing opens during a Venus Hour, but Venus is Rx yet strengthening @ 27Lib45 as she prepares to turn Direct Nov 18; here, in 7th house; controlling manager Saturn 13Lib12 is in 7th house as well and about to return to America's natal Saturn degree (14Lib48) on December 3, 2010 (#1 of 3.)

Venus has to do with evaluations which is proving difficult in the real estate and banking markets especially with the Robo-Signing scandal on the menu (a hearing on those issues is scheduled for Nov 18, 2010, the day of Venus' direct station! Perhaps some headway can be made as the evaluations planet moves forward - plus, moneybags Jupiter turns direct then, too, and heads back to AP, our US natal Ic of Home and Domestic Scene.)

Also in the hidden 12th house is the Neptune/Chiron conjunction, still affecting US natal Moon in Aquarius bwo of deception, fraud, waste, toxic assets, homelessness, and potential flooding. 'Flooded with debt' is a sad testament to this transit's ill effects, and yes, Neptune moves slowly so it took years for the loss and sense of despair to envelope US consumers; yet Neptune/Chiron's close link with spirituality may bring us relief.)

Moon reaches Aries Point (00Ari00) on Nov 16, but not until 5:59 pm est (with the hearing probably over for the day), and the 'hidden square' between Moon (the people; publicity) and Mars may hold more sway than first appears...

Moon SQ Mars = resistance to compromise due to fear that others will take advantage of you; emotional outbursts; contrariness when dealing with others; forceful demands shows a double standard which irks others. (Planets in Aspect, Robert Pelletier.)

Well, I'd say the 'take advantage of you' part has already been accomplished by the US Congress, the White House, SCOTUS, and our glaringly corrupt banking and mortgage industries yet I hope that some redress for the American people comes out of the Senate hearing's political theater...matinee at 2:30 pm.

Neptune Direct Stations @ Discovery degree 11.7.10

In the wee hours of November 7, 2010, gaseous Neptune turned Direct @ 25AQ55 with its traveling partner, Chiron, @ 26AQ04 now Direct as well - and both still affectng US natal Moon.

On September 24, 1846, Neptune was discovered when @ 25AQ53 and Rx, conjunct Saturn 25AQ08 Rx, with both planets at the base of a YOD pattern (Finger of God; turning point; crisis; special task) which points to Mars 25Vir59. The other planet at the base of the YOD/s is powerful, manipulative Pluto 25Ari23 Rx.

This creates two midpoint pictures to consider relating to the discovery (and meaning) of Neptune which in 1846 and 2010 conjoins US natal Moon (the people):

Saturn/Pluto = Mars: fighting battles to keep life going; enormous undercurrent of frustration; a gun with a cork in its barrel; activating plans for much upheaval or destruction; a need to use whatever means or power is available to continue working.

Neptune/Pluto = Mars: added compulsion to use violence to achieve one's dreams; use of drugs to speed up or alter life; great personal magnetism to set things right, or rejection of actions due to misunderstanding.

We might substitute Neptune in the equation with US n Moon...

Moon/Pluto = Mars: too much energy not knowing where to go; frustration and anger; use of force to achieve changes in corrupt practices; deep irritation about any delays; active in assuring that promised protection is delivered.

(Hmmm...is that last one a reason the president is in Asia? His trip's theme inspired by Gandhi: 'Be the change you want to see' yet with Neptune, one can never be certain what one is seeing. Dubious trade deals behind-the-scenes is more up Neptune's secret alley.)

So with President Obama now on his 10-day trip to Asia and speaking from New Delhi India, Neptune activity in the heavens seems appropriate for these mystical places and for a US president traveling over Neptune's oceans. When the Neptune Direct Station chart of Nov 7, 2010 is set for Washington DC, the Ascendant 6Vir06 'brings up' Mr. Obama's natal Pluto. With the chart set for New Delhi, India, his natal Midheaven in late Scorpio has the Moon (publicity) upon it as he spoke to a joint session of the Indian Congress.

Now I'm tempted to add the Sabian Symbol for Neptune's Direct Station-Discovery degree but am feeling too sassy for that. So here's Adriano Carelli's analysis from his The 360 Degrees of the Zodiac for '26AQ' which fits well into watery Neptune's realm:

'26AQ' = "A water source spurts forth by a high mountain top and dashes down, filling its boulder-strewn path with hissing foam."

This degree is about one who 'stands out like a beacon' but may have a position as unstable as water. "The danger of tumbling is an ever-present one" but Carelli reminds us that, of course, the rest of the map must support the tumbling.

"Should other strands in the pattern offset the headiness of the temper and induce a certain order in the turmoil of ideas babbling up in his mind, the native could turn into a real master (initiatory components would make him into an occult master); on the other hand, baneful components may warp his recklessness into blindness (taken literally or figuratively.)

So, happy Asian trip, Mr. President. Enjoy revisiting your roots and spouting your babbling of ideas...but do avoid the hissing foam.

Solar Eclipses: 2010 = 1992

Being in the remiss I have rushed here to post a link from Oct 20, 2010 (in case you missed Amy Goodman's report and haven't had a chance or the heart to keep up w the massive mortgage fraud perpetrated in America by the very same big banks we-the-people gave all those mega-bucks to) on Democracy Now!

Sea-ruler and dissolver, watery toxic Neptune has been washing over and over US natal Moon (we-the-people), and US Secondary Progressed Moon recently conjoined Sec Neptune so a shipload of wobbly conditions arrived in the people's harbor (Moon); Neptune also signifies the masses.)

Fraud is one of Neptune's faces as well with men hiding behind masks all around us, in every institution like the tentacle of a sinister, globe-throttling octopus. This octopus has engineered and plotted until our national Boxcar of Abundance has careened off the rails by the machinations of a clawful of Bolsheviks (and other factions clambering for control of the micrpohone) as history repeats on several levels.

Fortunately for us, this script of treachery and gangsterism (Pluto/Chiron) may be described (translated) for a different understanding since Astrology brings in the element of Time and so gives a fuller picture especially when planetary archetypes are factored in. Shall we indulge?

My guess is that 2010's Solar Eclipses - operative about 18.6 years ago (and 18.6 years prior to that, etc, and due to their Saros Series repeating approximately every 19 years like Great Cosmic Clockwork) - is trying to tell us of similar societal themes, some of which really need closure on an honest footing - from the year 1992 - January 4, 1992, to be precise; Solar Eclipse 13Cap51 in the 12 North (12N) Series:

sudden opportunities come along to accept greater responsibilities, most likely due to another person's inability to carry on; events may be difficult but results are good for self-esteem and harmony. (paraphrasing Brady's Predictive Astrology.)

This is the one I cheekily called the New President Eclipse since it occurred Jan 26, 2010, only 6 days into the Obama administration's taking over the helm and he obviously took on responsibilities: Dubya couldn't run a 3rd time and McCain was too old, Palin too inexperienced.

So if we cast our minds and Kindles back to 1992 for the issues and concerns of that era, we're seeing repeating themes turning up on our plates and in the news in 2010. The power elite agenda from 1992 is still on the boil and their To-Do List shortens. Or maybe that's a Done-Done List - or will be soon for they've convinced themselves they cannot fail with their oh-so-attractive goose-stepping style. Puh!

Anyway, prior to the 1993 Great Conjunction/s of Uranus/Neptune, the illuminated pair, 1992 saw a rigidly Fixed Saturn/Pluto square (Saturn AQ, Pluto Sco) which the world has similarly groaned beneath in 2010 (Saturn Lib, Pluto Cap); Queen Elizabeth called 1992 her "annus horribilis" for what one assumes relates to three out of four marriages of her children ending in divorce along with the Windsor Castle fire.

(You'll find that the video of George Bush Sr announcing the New World Order is re-embedded below because 1991 ushered in 1992. There's some discrepancy concerning the date so I'm not certain Bush gave the address on September 11, 1991 or not though much has been made of its foreshadowing of September 11, 2001. Whether it was on Sept 11, 1991 or around that time, the NWO shout-out to the future sounds chilling enough coming from those dead, wonky eyes and Republican neocon war profiteering mouth.)

As you know, when using Political Astrology's magnifying lens to look at squirmy Politics, I like to consider the presidencies of the years in question; of course some years are transition years and two presidents (1992) baton-pass during that 'peaceful transition of power' pap they feed us, and on some level, I suppose you could say it's correct as far as it goes. Of course, assassinations are special cases that skew the schedule (or do they? For NWO purposes, I think they're meant to put things back on track!)

How would you like to be put into the Oval Office by people so powerful and ruthless, they 'take you out' if you don't follow their script? Nor would I.

Yes, despite pompous presidential inaugurations in DC, throwing a fancy ceremony is no guarantee that anything substantive has changed or will change in US policy, foreign or domestic...as long as the one world government script is being followed there's only one outcome the win-at-any-costers will countenance. Trampling those who dare stand in their way is of no moment to this gaggle of globalist psychopaths.

So! Check out events of 1992 as a mate for 2010's proceedings if you dare. Bill Clinton's dance card was full then and outgoing prez Bush Sr was a player being a former CIA Director and NWO president. Of course, Poppy's televised upchuck at a 1992 state dinner in Japan is on every one's favorites list on YouTube circa 2010.

2010 Solar Eclipse #2

The second Solar Eclipse of 2010 is the one we're basking in now (to the extent that some can and their homes aren't being washed away by larger forces such as mortgage fraud, systemic robogate, or a tsunami) - the 12 South which manifested on July 11, 2010 @ 19Can24 conjunct Fixed Star Castor which can bring loss as well as murder, and yet it's a star of writers like
Danny Casolaro who was born with his Mercury (writers, journalists, reporters, speakers, traders) conjoining Castor's degree. Here's a link to a video concerning the Casolaro murder about which Bush Sr and Bill Clinton should have been grilled.

So the current July 11, 2010 Solar Eclipse is in the 12 South Series: successful outcomes to long term worries; a worrying or draining issue will at first seem worse, then clear.

In late June-early July, I used the flavor of 12S to give me hope prior to BP's current capping of the Deepwater Horizon well, and sure enough, they managed it four days after 12S occurred. Plus, 12S will be the PE of the 2010 November midterms so perhaps the alleged rout of Capitol Hill Democrats won't be as massive as polls now seem to indicate.

It concerns the mortgage document/foreclosure fraud that's been perpetrated upon American home buyers, the lawyering boom it entails, and the further undermining of the US economy so that a World Government will seem a necessary 'savior' for our power-elite-engineered woes:

The first three paragraphs below just set the stage for what state prosecutors and investigators in every state house in America are burning the midnight oil about. Does any of this make you wonder when the fraudulent Neptune to US natal Moon (we-the-people) transit will finally be over? My guess is that the oft-used 5-degree orb of influence must be gotten past by lumbering giant, Neptune. The question is: what degree is America's natal Moon actually in? Depends on which version of the US horoscope you use.

For July 4, 1776, this could indicate a Moon as early as 18AQ+ yet Neptune has already passed its 5-degree orb to that degree (23/24 AQ) as late as January 2010.

The latest rounded-off degree for our Aquarian Moon - and thus hinting at the longest time left in the fraudulent transit's affects - is 28 Aquarius. 28 AQ plus 5 degrees = 3 Pisces. Neptune reaches 3 Pisces in May 2012 though the Gaseous One meanders back to 00Pis and performs a major Direct Station @ 00Pis21 on about November 22, 2012. Transit Neptune reaches 3 Pisces again at the end of February 2013 and makes sneaky forays to that degree on and off through 2013 when the foreclosure crisis may be finally resolved.

Our sense of Neptunian rootlessness and the possibility of homelessness continues through 2013...so, one more time, I'm inspired to add one of my Neptunian drawings from one of my art blogs, Secret Moon Art, with the ocean representing the collective unconscious...

Rep. Alan Grayson (D-FL) explains the current plague of foreclosure fraud now being perpetrated upon millions of Americans as banks without clear legal status are greedily taking away family homes across the nation by fudging papers and borrowers' signatures in order to begin the foreclosure process.

My most private opinion is that foreign countries - particularly those the Pentagon is bombing like the devil - obviously know a terror exporter when they see and/or experience one.

How history repeats with slight tweaks!

Today, August 9, 2010, is the 4th time that transiting Pluto opposes US natal Venus 3Can06 (Sibly) - yet the DOW closed slightly up today. The next and final opposition will be on October 18, 2010. Then lumbering, transformative Pluto will move on to oppose US natal Jupiter, not a transit I'm looking forward to since pessimism abounds, and aspirations must be tamped down - including political ones.

The 3 hits from manipulative Pluto to US n Jupiter 5Can56 are:

3. November 20, 2011

As you see, 2011 is our Pluto-to-Jupiter year.

Of course, other helpful transits and progressions will be occurring simultaneously along with difficult ones. And as for the November 2010 midterm elections, the Pluto oppositions to Venus may indicate opposition to lady candidates, or perhaps they show a relationship (opposition) between lady politicians and puppet master Pluto, the Dragon who guards the wealth.

This could be, since on November 2, 2010, tr Venus is Rx in early Scorpio (co-ruled by Pluto), Pluto is within orb of opposing our nation's natal Venus, yet tr Venus sextiles tr Pluto. A Venus-Pluto sextile may indicate control in relationships with possibly a dominant-submissive vibe. No, sextiles (60 degrees) aren't always 'good' - there's a potential for death to be used as an asset such as past memories that are used to motivate others to help in the present, perhaps to the point of using blackmail.

Another societal difficulty we're currently mired in is well-described by the ongoing transit of deceptive Neptune, planet of inspiration (and fraud) to US natal Moon 27AQ10 (the people) which was first exact on March 13, 2010.

There are two hits remaining, one of them week after next:

Wednesday August 25, 2010, and the last exact hit (thankfully) will occur on January 14, 2011. This is a dispiriting contact bringing us a sense of rootlessness and we may expect foreclosures, homelessness, and possible refugeeism to continue. Water damage is almost a given with oceanic Neptune on our case, and the BP-Gulf Oil Gusher is part of the transit, too. Organizations across the US are engaging in "housing liberation" and "housing defense" to exercise their human rights to housing.

Mr. Quigley's article concerning various US cities moving people into bank-foreclosed housing reminded me of the upcoming July 11, 2010 Solar Eclipse in Cancer, sign of home, housing, real estate, domestic scene, business, and security.

In DC, the July 11 Eclipse occurs in the 8th house of Credit, Debt, Banking, and large amounts of money, and the Eclipse is in the same Series as America's Pre-Natal Eclipse @ 00Pis33 (12S, Feb 19, 1776), the position of transiting Chiron now.

The idea of making use of empty houses for those who need shelter is something I had not considered when I wrote of the dissolving effects of the current Neptune-to-US Moon transit, with mundane Moon representing The People; Neptune = dissolving, deceptive, and fraudulent forces (including the media; on other levels: oil, gas, water, ideals, the Divine Source, etc.)

And the Deepwater Horizon oil platform?

Neptune as deepwater also relates to the April 20, 2010 'blowout' in the Gulf of Mexico as a water catastrophe in the homeland (Moon), and Jupiter in Pisces (sign of the sea) describes the expansive 'blowout' since Jupiter broadens 'horizens'.

So depending on which US natal chart you use (n Moon 18 - 28 AQ), Neptune-to-US-Moon has been affecting us for some time with its sense of rootlessness and of being robbed. What I've written previously concerned the phenomenon of people leaving the keys in the mailbox and walking away from their upside down mortgages, and foreclosures (loss of home.)

Adding to the picture of despair and loss has been the recent transit of restrictive Saturn's grim reality to US natal Neptune 22Vi25 (hopes, dreams, illusions) with both planets bringing their own sort of loss and sadness.

My point today is that the movements across the country (as mentioned in Mr. Quigley's article) to set up the unsheltered among us in sitting-empty houses sounds to me like a great way to 'use' these difficult transits and make lemon out of lemonade. Empty houses do no good in any neighborhood, do they?

For after all, Housing is a Human Right!

And if besting our greedy, deceitful banks should occur simultaneously, then 'housing liberation' is an excellent and useful solution on behalf of we-the-people as it positively expresses that housing (Moon) is a basic human right which is a noble Neptunian ideal!

President signs Health Insurance Reform Bill w/ Neptune to US Moon: 3.23.10

While I was typing the following post, President Obama signed into law his Health Insurance Reform legislation at 11:55 am edt, White House, with South Node 17Can59 in 1st house which indicates the historical nature of the signing event. However, SN rising can indicate difficulties keeping the bill anchored into being for SN has a separative, Saturnian effect.

And yet, Saturn adores laws and regulations! US natal Venus (valuable commodities) is rising with our natal Jupiter in tow.

Mercury, ruler of signings, bills, agreements, trade and commerce is nearing Midheaven @ 12Aries04...'13Ari' = "A Bomb Which Failed to Explode Is Safely Concealed." Hmm. Might this describe something hidden in the bill that we're not going to like, or to a rescue of our tottering health care system? Or perhaps both?

The ongoing T-Square between Sun/Saturn and apex Pluto is morphed into a Grand Cross in time for the bill signing ceremony: Moon, Sun, Saturn, and Pluto...dynamic efforts amount to high achievements!

At 11:55 am edt, a 1st house Moon '6Can' conjoins US natal Jupiter indicating much publicity for the event - and happy people across the land having a reigning need fulfilled (except in smokey GOP dens of his opponents and those citizens emotionally activated by undermining rhetoric against a Dem President.) Well, I for one hope the reforms aid someone besides special interests and old manipulative string-puller, Pluto.

Perfecting during the glad-handing and pen-sharing that took place in the minutes after the bill was signed is a midpoint picture that includes the Sun (leader):

Sun/Uranus = MC (The Goal): reformers, inventors, technicians; restless people with far-reaching plans; experiencing the impact of sudden events; major events in support of big plans (NWO? DNA collection for all?); hopeful triumph for the ego.

In his midpoints book, Michael Munkasey says that Sun/Uranus energies were in effect at the time the first-ever Medicaid patient applied to the program! #

My original post begins here with no edits because I gotta motor into the city:

Ever since Health Insurance Reform was passed (and sent on to the Senate March 21, 2010) it's been bothering me that this week's entire political theater production on Capitol Hill has been performed with transiting Neptune sitting directly upon America's natal Moon (we-the-people; 27AQ10.) Confusions, deceptions (including self-deception), fraud, and propaganda have been coming upon us for some time given Neptune's slow-mo movements but now that the gaseous giant is here, we get Health Insurance Reform, and possibly financial reform, too.

Since the numbers of health care workers needed are not available to attend to the new 'millions' who will soon have insurance, and since the bill's cost savings are more than a little squirrelly, I'm feeling more than a little like we've been had by the 'shell game' the GOP has accused the Obama administration of using for this giant legislation. Of course, around this blog, it takes one shell gamer to know one, so the Republicans obviously know whereof they gamingly speak.

The Neptune to natal Moon transit has been detailed here previously but in case you, lone reader, have landed here for the first time, let's consider it again.

First, a Neptune transit has ab orb of influence and, as I said, it's been coming on a while and will be in effect a while longer. The transit includes such things as a sense of rootlessness, losing homes to foreclosure, dissolving of commitments (and of contracts made by and for the people) - all in all, an unstable period for everything that relates to the Moon, the body which signifies the people in a national chart. Plus, Neptune relates to mass media, with various toutings being brought to us by...Neptune, the illusionist.

Stability for this legislation will have to be brought by other factors for Neptune-to-n-Moon isn't good anchorage for staying power. And we know that repeal arguments are being rehearsed as I type so we may never hear the end of it. Great. Mr. Obama's opponents will do what they can to undermine the bill's effectiveness, too, no matter what it costs the American people for the GOP to score political points while clawing their way into office.

Yes, multiple mysteries abound with Neptune to US n Moon, posited in our n 3rd house of Communications, Neighborhoods, Grade Schools, Siblings, and the Lower Mind; third house also relates to health through the mind-body connection so with Tinkerbell Neptune's magic wand touching us, perhaps we have health insurance if we simply believe we do - or, with Neptune's more rare dreams-can-come-true effect, perhaps this legislation will catalyze improvements in our health care system which are sorely needed. Neptune might, but the motivations of the people involved are a quite a different question.

And yet it's hard to pinpoint what one really wants with Neptune sitting all over one's Moon, for the Moon rules our reigning needs; ours is in Aquarius, a transpersonal sign of brotherhood. Giving all Americans access to better health care (at the point when it's needed, not after the disease-ridden horses have escaped the barn and it's too late to be saved - 'saved' is a Neptunian word, as is 'escaped') - access for all Americans is one of the touts of this legislation from the Obama administration (the touters.) Perhaps 32 million Americans will soon agree.

However, Neptune to natal Moon is a time when conditions are difficult if not impossible to diagnose including physical complaints, or, the wrong diagnosis may be given. Hopefully, this does not describe the Health Insurance Reform legislation that's about to become the law of the land while curing what ails us. (It did become law at 11:55 am edt, see above Update.)

But will the reforms deliver a wrong diagnosis?

Without addressing health care costs rising into the stratosphere, the 'savings' of this bill over time may not help matters much on that score, yet I hope the bill's magical effects are more real than they seem at present especially since there's another dreamy Neptunian thing that tends to accompany a Neptune to n Moon transit: loss through theft and/or carelessness.

One major theft we know of already: the public option has been stolen from the bill! And my concern about nationwide DNA collection may be considered theft if a patient is unaware of it. (After your DNA is snagged, it belongs to them, not you.)

That Neptune rules drugs, legal and otherwise, isn't comforting either unless the transit brings us medical marijuana for those who need an appetite boost, mood lift, and pain relief for their serious conditions. That would be a positive outcome, imo, although you may disagree. My feeling is that if a person is dying or suffering grievously, what business is it of mine - or the government's - to cruelly dictate what he may take to lessen his misery.

Well, here's an article on the subject of the health insurance reform bill. It asserts that the reform is from the top down rather than from the 'bottom up' as we've heard from the Obama administration (like Neptune's wand from on-high: presto change-o, you're covered! But with what?)

Yes, the bill's reforms have been fashioned by Washington think tanks behind the American people's backs...such a perfect description of veiling Neptune to US natal Moon...'tanks' being a watery Neptunian word.

New Moon 25Pisc10 March 15, 2010

The New Moon 25Pisc10 on Monday, March 15, 2010 occurs @ 5:01:02 pm edt at the White House so I thought perhaps a few astro-beans might be freely spilled on the subject as a new cycle of activity begins.

In Washington DC, the New Moon will occur in the 8th house of High Finances, Credit, Insurance, Debt, Transformation, etc. The 8th house, of course, is part of the 2/8 Money/Valuations axis; 8th cusp 22Pisc33 may not indicate a lot of clarity in financial matters especially considering the 3rd (final) Great Conjunction in December 2009 of the speculator pair of planets, Jupiter and Neptune, ruler and co-uler of the Piscean New Moon.

The New Moon's ruler, Jupiter 13Pisc27 is in 8th house, with Neptune 27AQ13 (6th house) left behind to splay messily over America's natal Moon 27AQ10 (US Sibly chart, 5:10 pm LMT) - quite a perfect picture of job (6th h) loss (Neptune) and lies and confusion (Neptune) about health (6th h; Moon.) And Chiron, associated with unhealable wounds/knowing how to wound, is also in 6th house of the New Moon chart.

Since I've blogged previously on the Neptune-to-n-Moon transit I won't repeat it all here other than to say that our ongoing senses of rootlessness, homelessness, and being deceived continue their difficulties upon the folks who can manage them the least. (Thanks, Washington, corporations, lobbyists, and the Fed - for nuthin'.)

Mass media (Neptune) is busy pulling her veil over the eyes of the people (Moon), too, perhaps in relation to a specific matter or matters with this Neptunian transit now exact. Yes, I realize they always do, but the timing is important so watch out for a special story to appear on the public radar - perhaps one that's difficult to believe (because it's untrue or based on flimsy evidence.)

Of course, flimsy statistics are possible as well with 'numbers' being a constant tool for manipulating public opinion and the 'health' of the market. Yet, sensing we're being lied to and scammed, US consumer confidence may reach a new low soon with Neptune-to-Moon since inflationary Neptune brings slowly dissolving conditions of loss along with massive deceptions and frauds.

Plus, a mystery (Neptune) from our nation's past (Moon) may surface and surprise us either positively or negatively so we'll see if anything newly discovered turns up concerning our history or past events. Perhaps some media hype (Neptune) may be uncovered for what it really is - a crock of NWO promotion.

Yet, Mercury 26Pisc26 conjoins disruptive rebel Uranus 26:29 in 8th house and both are close enough to the New Moon to usurp its rulership. When Mercury/Uranus energies are fused we get possible communications breakthroughs, modernization of transportations networks or policies, business groups forming to initiate policies, and/or labor coalitions or unions at work. And if goals are not clearly defined we may see riots and rebellion based on false assumptions, reforms that cause upsets in transportation systems, and/or a use of propaganda during emergencies. At the moment of the New Moon's perfection on Monday, the ASC degree in DC is 29Leo08 which brings up one of the Royal Stars of Persia, Regulus, in the tip of the Leo's tail. The keywords for Regulus: success if revenge is avoided, so the caution with Regulus is not to take revenge. The other Royal Stars have cautions, too, which, if heeded, result in the promised success.

Also rising is asteroid Sisyphus, keywords: to be determined to achieve or succeed. Sounds like someone at the White House is understandably antsy to get some legislation passed, yes? And at IC 23Sco57, the Foundation of the chart, lies asteroid Pallas 23Sco02 Rx. Pallas = strategy, wisdom, defense of the city state.

With Pallas Rx, it may be that strategic plans are in review, as well they should be considering the hard slog this administration has had since Inauguration 2009's Rx Mercury (plans, announcements, contracts, agreements, messages, re-taken oaths, etc - plans possibly aborted, hence the GOP call for 'back to the drawing board') and its void-of-course Moon which showed that things would not be working out as planned, if at all. VOC Moons may also describe conditions where plans or events currently in play will not be interfered with or diverted - nothing is of any help as to how things turn out for it's too late. (Ex: 9/11's Moon @ a degree of Bankruptcy '28Gemini.' Bankrupting the people is working well for the global power elites so far. And 'it's too late' describes the condition of the US financial system in 2001 that most economists weren't being honest about. Perhaps someone saw waging expensive wars as an answer to financial shakiness. It wouldn't be the first time.)

The New Moon's North Node (NN) 18Cap48 is pointing toward asteroid Cupido, keywords: corporations, The Family, crime syndicates (and Art!) and they're @ the *NWO degree '18Cap' = "The Union Jack"...SUPERVISION...

positive expression: the self's ever-widening spread of interest in its insatiable desire to leave some permanent imprint of itself on everything it touches (the mark of the NWO beast? Microchips for human beings, anyone?);

negative/unconscious/shadow side: smug or strong-armed paternalism. (MEJ.)

And NN in Cap implicates Saturn in 2nd house - with President Obama's natal Mars on 2nd cusp 22Vir33 along with US natal Neptune 22Vir25, the signature of Mr. Obama's 'rock star status'...but indicating that the public seldom if ever sees his actions (Mars) in a clear light due to Neptune's interference (media and other deceptive actors including Obama's team of spinners.)

Well, with tr Saturn 1Lib46 Rx in 2nd house of the New Moon chart, and considering the Old Man's continuing visit to the White House's natal Uranus 00Lib01 (at US natal MC in the Sibly chart) we may wish to consider how Saturn-to-n-Uranus may affect the White House under this restrictive transit. It's a time when circumstances conspire to interfere with freedom and independence in some way (probably in several ways given the big mess America's politicians and bankers have plunked her in); plus, it's a period when new approaches or ideas from the W-H are not viewed favorably, especially by those who prefer the status quo. Duh.

Now that can describe all the big sectors now balking at governmental reforms in their industries including financial, industrial, and medical. Yet carefully laid plans may succeed eventually so it's no reason or time for the forces of change and reform to give up the good fight even with discontented Americans being Neptunized by media and others with 'lose-your-health-insurance' and 'death panel' confusions meant to keep the President off-keel and his reform agenda stymied (until the Republicans can swagger back into the Oval Office and do more of their style of damage for Dem-style damage isn't the GOP's cuppa tea.)

MC ruler Venus 10Ari23 is in 8th house; Venus also rules 3rd house through Libra. In Mudane charts I tend to notice '11 Aries' no matter where it appears because its symbol is: "The President of the Country." Interestingly, the tr Mars/Neptune midpoint here is @ '14Tau' which is the Inauguration ASC degree, the office of the president...

Mars/Neptune = ASC: a strong mental focus on the subtle ways to use to compel or coerce others into adopting your ideas; focusing attention on the causes of confusion which surround tense situations encountered. (He did that last week on the stump. Wonder if he'll make recess appointments when the Rs are out of town for Congress' spring break? He'd be crazy not to.)

Warring Mars, so recently turned Direct on March 10, is approaching the W-H's natal Jupiter 3Leo51 so there will be a temptation to give others more credit than they deserve. Yet monetary matters can improve under this influence if other factors don't interfere too much (Saturn to Uranus?); the White House's role may expand in some way along with its physical efforts so Mars-to-n-Jupiter may encourage more troop deployments or the launching of new military campaigns (just what the world doesn't need.) Money may be what's expanded, however, so the bottomless pit of war will need more inflationary billions spent (Boeing fighters come to mind) and the President will be traveling abroad.
