Our Derelict Congress and the GOP's 'Hurting Obama' Game

Since unemployment benefits are set to expire on December 28, 2013 for 1.3 million Americans, it's only natural for astrologers to take a look at that date and the condition of its two money planets, Venus and Jupiter, both of which are retrograde. The condition of the astrological Moon as We the People is an important chart factor to consider as well.

Yesterday a list of planetary changes of direction were posted to this blog where we see that Jupiter is Rx until March 6, 2014, and Venus turns Rx on December 21st (this Saturday) while conjoining US natal Pluto in late Capricorn. The Venus-Pluto contact makes for a good time in the US to plan and determine strategy though as a planetary pair, Venus-Pluto can signify bankruptcy, a real hazard for those whose unemployment benefits suddenly are withheld for an extended period of time.

These folks' Christmas shopping will tend to be suppressed with December 28th looming, so retail sales are sure to be lost, thanks to a derelict Congress.

However, Congress will take up the extension of benefits when they return to Capitol Hill in early January (if we can believe them), though even only a week or two without unemployment checks will not only put some families at risk of homelessness and/or food insecurity, but the lack will interfere with filling up car gas tanks for even the most basic errands--plus, it will take the money they would be spending out of the economy--thus hurting the America people along with hurting President Obama's favorability rating.

As for the Moon, Luna conjoins depressive, austere Saturn at 7:58 pm est on the evening of December 28, 2013 @20Sco05..'21Sco' = "A Soldier Derelict in His Duty", a Sabian Symbol which may easily refer to our veterans but makes me think first of our derelict Congress especially since Scorpio is the sign of betrayal (of the public trust and of their oaths of office--governing by not governing doesn't count around here.) This conjunction echos the recent (Nov 28th) conjoining of America's Secondary Progressed Moon and Saturn @ '3Sco' ("A House-Raising"!)

Yet Christmas is an optimistic season, and my Jupiterian hope is that Congress will act to extend unemployment benefits well before the Direct Station of Venus on January 31, 2014 @13Cap34 (opposite US natal Sun, a time when leaders are openly opposed and there may be ostentatious displays of luxury!) so if you are reading this blog (as you seem to be), I suspect that this is your hope, too.

Now that Uranus in Aries turned Direct yesterday, up next in the line-up of planetary stations is Venus, a money planet, which from Earth's vantage point occurs near enough to Christmas Day to affect shoppers' urges to buy gifts or to return them before or after the holidays. Plus, thanks to Venus' Rx status, there may be a more than the usual amount of re-gifting practiced this year!

A New Order: Woodrow Wilson Inauguration March 4, 1913

On March 4, 1913, Democrat and former New Jersey governor Woodrow Wilson was sworn in as our 28th President from the East Portico of the Capitol Building wearing a frock coat, a rose-colored tie (the rose, flower of Venus), and a silk top hat, and the same Bible that he used in NJ was opened once again to *Psalms 119:43-46.

Woodrow Wilson begins his Inaugural Address declaratively:

"There has been a change of government. It began two years ago when the House of Representatives became Democratic by a decisive majority. It has now been completed. The Senate about to assemble will also be Democratic. The offices of President and Vice President have been put in the hands of Democrats. What does the change mean? That is the question I am going to try to answer, in order, if I may, to interpret the occasion."

He goes on with references to "old things" that "have dropped their disguises and shown themselves alien and sinister" which continues to apply to America's political actors, many of whom now wear hats of both parties but especially those who don't believe in government. Notably in Wilson's natal horoscope his very close Venus-Mars conjunction degree of '18AQ' has "A Man Unmasked" as its Sabian Symbol.

Hour of Saturn (in 12th house of Politics, Secret Deals, and Karma); ASC 00Can17, a World Point and our US Inaugural ASC until the change to January 20th under FDR in 1937; '1Can' = "A Sailor Ready to Hoist a New Flag to Replace an Old One" which is appropriate for his Inaugural Address and for America's traditional 'transfer of power'; chart-ruler Moon makes only one applying major aspect, a conjunction with excitable Mars in 8th house...war on the way.

Plus, the trio forms a midpoint picture: Mars-Uranus (war; explosions; protests) = Moon (the public; women--there was a Women's Suffragette Parade down Pennsylvania Avenue the day before the 1913 Inauguration) and this gives the day an ambitious quality along with a desire for big achievements and 'special efforts expended by women' (Suffragette Parade for The Vote).

Even the WhiteHouse.gov site credits Mr. Wilson who, "-asserted international leadership in building a new world order", and though his League of Nations failed, the world is now saddled in its stead with the United Nations which issued from the bowels of the Franklin Roosevelt administration.

Wilson's first natal planet to rise in the 1913 Inauguration chart is his Saturn Rx (authority, soberness, etc) @11Can00 which probably influenced him in deciding to cancel his own Inaugural Ball in 1913 as being "inappropriate for the occasion". Plus, Saturn brings change, too, which is reflected in his Address, as noted above.

'Twas a mystical time in America when Woodrow Wilson took up his Oval Office role as transit Neptune conjoined US natal Mercury in Cancer (see Neptune conjunct 2nd cusp, the house of our National Treasury: financial deception) and supplied misunderstandings, deception, inaccurate record-keeping, errors, and loss. Neptune also went on to oppose US natal Pluto Rx in late Capricorn and eroded power in ways too numerous to mention in this post.

Another chart factor of background influence is Inauguration 1913's Pre-Natal Solar Eclipse Series, the 4 South (in 5th h @16Lib52 conjunct Wilson's natal Ascendant) with its themes of strong emotions over relationships and/or finances, frustration, and with a sense of fatedness attached; take no rash action (Brady.) 4S last manifested in 2002 and you know how Bush-Cheney handled this impulsive yet frustrating energy--by invading Iraq. Like Wilson who ran on 'peace' and 'making the world safe for democracy' and who secretly pledged the US into WWI at the behest of international bankers, they falsely used the "democracy" ruse, too.

And it seems to me that all Americans should be more than fed up with such deceptive propaganda by now.

How one Ayn-Rand-worshipping CEO ruined Sears

In recent years I have fewer reasons to frequent malls and stores such as Sears as often as when my kids were tiny tykes so this tale of how the CEO of Sears crashed the retail giant is news to me. Boston Tea Party Dec 17, 1773: Sun Sag-Moon AQ

With all the to-do this week over the apparent split between establishment Republicans and the party's congressional Tea Party members, I became curious to reconsider the horoscope of the original Boston Tea Party which occurred on December 17, 1773 in Boston Harbor in protest against taxes.

As you see from the date, the Boston Tea Party (BTP) has its 240th birthday coming up on Tuesday, December 17, 2013, the date of a Full Moon @25Gem26, a fulfillment or culmination indicator. This Full Moon degree conjoins the 5:45 pm LMT chart's Midheaven if we base the BTP's natal horoscope on the historical hour of 5:45 pm LMT which some sources cite for the sassy event which gives a Solar Return 2013 horoscope (SR) for 11:38:29 pm EST on Dec 17th. The tea-dumping by Freemasons dressed as 'Indians' is reported to have taken place between approximately 6 pm and 7 pm. A 7:00 pm LMT chart shows '30 Cancer' rising, the Daughters of the American Revolution Sabian Symbol. Appropriate, don't you think?

In the SR 2013 chart, Sun @26Sag24 conjoins the IC (The Drain; Endings; Separations; Domestic Scene) and the SR Moon is @5Can09 in Return 10th house conjoining US natal Jupiter (5Can56--'6Can' = "Game Birds Feathering Their Nests.") Rising is 26Vir30 and contentious Mars @5Lib11, plus, this SR Ascendant also brings up the BTP's Pre-Natal Eclipse degree of 24Vir00 in the 10 North Saros Series. 10N originally manifested on April 25, 944 (OS) with Sun-Moon @9Tau53; karmic Saturn (loss, delay; restriction; regulations and laws) @00Can53, a karmic World Point of Manifestation and Prominence.

Of note may be other events and personages for which 10N is the Pre-Natal Eclipse (PE); they include: Aaron Burr (Feb 6, 1756), the 4th Amendment (Dec 15, 1791), the KKK's Albert Pike, Confederate War General and grand poo-bah of the Freemasons (b. And the eclipse occurred in the middle of the Bush-Cheney Great Heist of America's National Treasury which brought about the collapse of our economy, a near-global crash, and the theft of millions of Americans' financial lives and employment prospects.

The BTP's natal Moon (the people) on Dec 17, 1773 was @21AQ21 near what turned out to be our nation's natal Moon position and this gives the BTP a Fire-Air Sun-Moon 'live wire' blend full of ideas, bluster, and possibly eloquence. It's the combo of the visionary Utopian idealist (see Albert Pike) and it imprints the original Boston Tea Party with a word picture or "Image for Integration":

"Republicans are Reactionaries" not Conservatives (Uranus not Saturn)

How refreshing to read a previous tweet by Billy Butterfield shouting out that 'Republicans Are Reactionaries' and not Conservatives, so I retweeted it today.

Using Political Astrology, I'd have to echo Billy's sentiment for in Mundane charts, Republicans--not just the Tea Party faction of the party but the group as a whole--are signified by rebellious Uranus, the revolutionary, now lurching through Mars-ruled Aries (sign of war, opposition, cussedness, and a selfish me-first mindset), what Reinhold Ebertin describes as fanatics acting under "blind zeal" and using "violence"; they have an "urge to strive for reform" and are stubborn, "dreamy enthusiasts and Utopians" and that IDs them as acolytes of the Francis Bacon/Adam Weishaupt crowd of illuminated miscreants and perverts. Their "Great Plan" has progressed through the centuries and now shows itself as it truler is at its core--a devouring, undermining influence against civilization.

(You'll note the Republican focus on women's bodies: they worship the feminine in an unhealthy way. Pope-ishness now rises and helps uplift archetypes such as Isis, Lilith, Innana, and the rest of the haggish icons (hags and shrews, when their energies are perverted by mortal men who think themselves 'gods' on earth...puh! Plus, in transit, Uranus burst into US natal 4th house of Domestic Scene in 2010 at Aries Point (AP = our national IC, The Drain)--get outta my house, Utopians! And take your socio-pathic 'vision' with you.)

So! Since Republicans are not Saturnian 'Conservatives' nor are they 'conservative' what could be their modus operandi? It's Damn the Torpedoes, 'burn down the house' to achieve 'success at all and any cost' for Machiavelli would agree this is the winning hand in Politics (though I've always said that cheating isn't winning, it's stealing). Yet with Saturn now traversing Scorpio (Mars-Pluto) and the intense, forceful, big money, corporate vibes contained therein, they have manager/lawmaker Saturn's status quo influence within them as well for everyone and every group (and event) acts under influences of all the signs at all times.

Then we look to the Democratic Party as having the same 12-sign opportunities to shine or to disrupt and its natal link to the American people is primarily through US natal Moon 27AQ10, We the People. The party acts under motherly vibes as we see with the charge by the GOP that the Democrats are the "nanny party." Well, yes, actually the Astrology of the matter supports this; plus, the Republican Party's natal Sun (ego; life goal, purpose, essence) conjoined in perpetuity to US natal Sun in Cancer (13Can19) is 'daddy' and everyone knows 'his' love must be conditional. Then lo and behold! Fixed Star Sirius (aka, Isis) conjoins both Suns.

As you see, there is deep symbolism here--beware! With Astrology you are able to lift the rock of Politics and peek in amazement at the dark, squirmy creatures and the secrets that scurry underneath!

Selling Out: WTO, NAFTA, Citizens United, now TPP and Singapore

America! Going for Bargain Basement Prices

In the 1990s there was the draconian World Trade Organization (WTO) and its first push back from the people, what the media termed the 'Battle in Seattle'. Then it was jobs-destroying NAFTA (effective January 1, 1994) and Citizens United in 2010 (the anti-democracy 'corporations are people' ruling of SCOTUS). Now it's the secret anti-sovereign trade deal they call the Trans-Pacific Partnership--what many are calling 'NAFTA on steroids', and rightly so.

It's taking a lot of effort by these corporate pirates to totally sell out America and US workers, yet Global Government types must be highly excited this week after the past weekend's Bali Summit and the talks that immediately followed on Saturday, December 7, 2013 as Bali officials flew to Singapore to further the devilish TPP.

Meanwhile, the press helps the White House with articles and videos that imply that there's hope for US workers and US sovereignty after all, but this Capricorn frets that such expressions are only smoke and mirrors to keep the populace quiet about our nation being sold out to the Corporate Global Syndicate of bankers and other criminals. Oh look! Here's a panacea now from Huffington Post: Obama Faces Backlash Over New Corporate Powers in Secret Trade Deal. Did you read it or watch the video and feel better? How much force and push back from We The People and from other populations would it take to counter these jokers' Great Plan of global domination via backroom 'trade deals'?

"He that injures one, threatens many," said Sir Francis Bacon, an early adopter of the Great Plan with America in the New World--the 'New Atlantis'--leading the way...E Pluribus Unum, indeed.

And how curious that the president has been so determined to implement his Affordable Care Act yet the TPP will make lower priced prescription drugs impossible to obtain...because there won't be any. As with NAFTA, it won't be America that benefits most from this 'trade deal' which will financially unite 160 nations!

(Makes me wonder if my initial ACA misgivings are justified--that it's about controlling the people who sign up, nosing into our medical histories, further weakening our health with toxins, vaccines, etc (depopulation), guinea-pigging us which they've done for decades already, and 'owning' every person's DNA.)

Many horoscopes have been studied by yours truly concerning these topics but it would take days of typing to publish the astro-notes in my files. Therefore, I shall mention here a few notable chart factors and provide some data in case either of you wish to set up charts (if you haven't yet.)

One of the most stunning factors that jumps out at us is the current position of destructuring, secretive, stealthy wealth-hoarder, Pluto (the saboteur), of Invisible Helmet fame. Pluto now conjoins Mercury, Mars, and Sun in the NAFTA horoscope and stomps upon Singapore's natal Moon (10Cap56)--horoscope data below.) Plus, Pluto @11Cap16 will be fertilized on January 1, 2014 by a New Moon @10Cap57, representing the seeding of a new cycle of activity.

Now Pluto transits are always intensely life-changing and permanent, as you know, and Pluto to Singapore's ambitious, business-oriented natal Moon in Capricorn (which is out-of-bounds denoting the people's feelings of emotional insecurity and lack of connection to those in power who ran and run the place) shows that manipulation and control can bring devastating consequences with powerful motivations leading to great achievement; yet if reckless determination is followed there can be a loss of everything--including national sovereignty and jobs, in the case of the TPP.

Another interesting transit is from Saturn @17Sco52 (on Dec 7, 2013) to Singapore's natal Neptune @17Sco15 in the 2nd house of Earning Ability and Values. This is the 'grim face of reality' transit that can bring misinterpretation of responsibilities and below-board financial dealings although a 'dream come true' can also apply--but probably only for the Global Government movers'n'shakers who are secretly brokering this draconian deal they've have long dreamed of.

By the New Moon on January 1, 2014, a T-Square forms between the Mars-Uranus opposition which points to banking planet Jupiter @14Can04 Rx which denotes those who are planning a course of action for the future and this, of course, supports my Global Government fretting (aka, a 'new world order' or 'new world financial order'.)

In the New Moon chart of 1.1.14, Jupiter is the handle of a Bucket pattern which shows banker Jupiter to be the important actor and determinator of these issues since it is Jupiter Rx in Cancer that links the two sides of the horoscope with the rest of the Capricorn planets in the chart.

Is there a natal chart for the 'New World Order'?

Meant to replace the Bretton Woods Agreement, and often referred to as a 'New World Order' (aka, global government), a modern-day natal horoscope may be set up for (imho) the third of the Great Conjunctions of Enlightenment planets, Uranus and Neptune, which conjoined three times through 1993 around the 18th degree of Saturn-ruled Capricorn:

In Sabian Symbols, '18 Cap' = POLITICAL POWER, the negative expression of which (for that is what we are already experiencing) is: 'smug or strong-armed paternalism' (Jones.)

And of course, the turning of US natal Mars in Gemini by progression (Rx as of Summer 2006--the neocons broke our military, a condition that is ongoing with President Obama at the helm) has aided the international cabal of intellectual elites and bankers who call the shots from behind the scenes and use America as their military arm to enforce...a draconian new world order--including, as we see more and more often--on US soil via police forces.

As you've noted, 1993 implicates President Bill Clinton in the charade which used 'NAFTA' as a ruse to financially unite a large part of the world as does the EU and the upcoming Trans-Pacific Trade Pact which will make national sovereignty a thing of the past. So now the slogan is, 'Lean Forward, America'? Into more job losses!

Astro-Notes on the Solar and Lunar Eclipses of 2014

In order of occurrence, the following list of Solar and Lunar Eclipses of 2014 contains brief details for each and includes the Sun-Moon blend Images for Integration which provide word pictures to describe the coordinated blending of Sun (conscious) and Moon (unconscious) energies for each period of time influenced by each eclipse. Naturally, Lunar periods overlap Solar periods which form the background of our astrological motifs for 2014:

1. April 15 Total Lunar Eclipse @25Lib15 (tax day!); Sun Ari-Moon Lib is a Fire-Air combo, a 'live wire' full of ideas enthusiastically expressed: "A conductor leads an orchestra with passionate conviction and a vibrant, pulsating organism of musical perfection is created to the ecstatic uplifting of the audience."

This Fire-Air blend is shared natally by Julian Lennon, Pearl Bailey, Wilbur Wright, and William Hazlitt who asserted that, "The love of liberty is the love of others; the love of power is the love of ourselves."

2. Apr 29 Annular Solar Eclipse @8Tau51:46 in the 16 South Saros Series: 16S contains themes of wasted energy and misdirected motivation especially when dealing with groups; there may be sudden inspiration that is potentially unfulfilling so taking no real action is the better course.

Sun Tau-Moon Tau is a double Earth blend of practicality and material concerns; "A successful baker is surrounded by delighted children eating fresh bread rolls...A loving teacher resolves an angry dispute."

Oct 8 Total Lunar Eclipse @15Ari05 which 'flips' the first Lunar Eclipse Sun-Moon blend to: Sun Lib-Moon Ari, another 'live wire' combo of energies, as above; its Libra Sun conjoins US natal Saturn (14Lib48), planet of government, law, and business so we may expect the eclipse to reveal secrets from the depths of those realms (as all eclipses are prone to do); "A little girl and a little boy barter whilst playing on a see-saw. 4. Oct 23 Partial Solar Eclipse @00Sco24 in the 17 New North Saros Series denotes themes of hectic, excited socializing and impulsive energy; issues emerge and motivate especially in regard to financial enterprises.

Sun Sco-Moon Sco is a double Water combo that overflows with feelings, imagination, and intensity; "A pile of manure slowly permeates the deeper soil as the November rains soak the still, dark garden...A millionaire businessman establishes a foundation for medical research."

January 1, 2014: New Moon, a Grand Cross, and a Bucket

A New Year, a New Moon--sounds quite fortuitous, doesn't it?

Well, I'm looking at a New Moon horoscope set for Washington DC on New Years Day 2014 (6:14:08 am est) with 22Sag52 rising along with fixed star Ras Alhague (a Ophiuchi: 'a desire to create balance and healing' (--Brady, though Devore mentions 'perverted and depraved tastes' and 'misfortunes through women'), and powerful underworld boss Pluto @11Cap16 followed by an out-of-bounds Mercury @12Cap50 and Venus 26Cap42 Rx. It's with a full 1st house that Washington DC faces the New Moon on New Years Day, yet we may pause for prayer since warring Mars @11Lib51 conjoins MC, the Public Status/Career/Goal Point of the chart and the most visible for the world to see.

Opposite Mars near the IC (The Drain; Endings; Domestic Scene; Roots) is quirky disruptor Uranus @8Ari40 in 3rd house and feeling his anarchist oats since entering America's natal 4th house in 2010, blind zealots and Utopians represented, according to Ebertin. Is a false flag op soon to be perpetrated on US soil? Some say so.

The explosive Mars-Uranus opposition is part of a dynamic Grand Cross with the second half formed by Jupiter Rx @16Can03 (7th h) opposing the Capricorn line-up in 1st house though Jupiter's opposition is closer by degree to Mercury than to the New Moon, Pluto, or Venus. Yet the Grand Cross planets include: Mars, MC, Sun and Moon, Mercury, Uranus, and Pluto with the ongoing Uranus-Pluto Cardinal Square separating (2S35) for now, and Jupiter acting as the handle of this Bucket shaped chart.

Planets arranged into a Bucket shape denote circumstances in which energy is focused and released via the handle planet--here, Jupiter, exalted in Cancer yet weakened, or its effectiveness and benefits delayed, by its retrograde condition. This pattern indicates an uncompromising direction of effort with little or no concern for end results. It seems there is no desire to conserve resources and there are many Americans who level this charge against the pocket-lining politicians of Washington DC--those who are in breach of the public trust come to mind.

To me the New Moon in Capricorn (the Saturn-ruled sign of government, law, and business) hints that unemployment benefits may not be extended by the end of December 2013 which will give a tremendous downward tug to the US economy as well as creating more misery for Americans who have suffered losses already at the hands of an uncaring corporate government. Hopefully I am wrong about this difficult start of the New Year, but there it is.

Best case is that Jupiter as handle shows inspiration and an adaptation of allegiances to where they can create the most benefits for the American people; on the downside, Jupiter here signifies malcontents and agitators who play the Jolly One's typical roles as professor, General, explorer, guru, priest, banker, or corporate CEO.

Cardinal Grand Cross: it's complicated

The Grand Cross of squares and oppositions indicates that quick, ill-considered action may be taken since impatience abounds. Staying power to complete projects is required and the continued cooperation of others is a must (the ACA website?) Common sense helps avoid pitfalls and it will be necessary to prevent succumbing to such things as recklessness, bad timing, over-assertion, and direct confrontations with others. Though ambitious, we must exercise more self-control even while facing one obstacle after another!

Now Pluto is, I suppose, Lord of the Eclipse (0A18), while status quo Saturn @20Sco24 (11th h) disposits Sun and Moon. Jupiter Rx is ruled of the horoscope, another indicator that the money planet's Rx condition is problematic as 2014 begins. And we haven't even discussed how the January 1st planets and Capricorn New Moon are lined up opposite America's natal planets in Cancer! Or how transiting Jupiter is retrograding back to rejoin US natal Sun (the president)!

To summarize, early 2014 is a critical time of development and it looks as though war, weapons, diplomacy, possibly explosions, financial mishaps, and even earthquakes or other natural disasters are potential dishes on our nation's menu as the New Year starts so I hope both readers of Stars Over Washington stay safe, warm, and dry, and do take activated charcoal for that hang-over if you allow yourself to party too much!

New Moons Are Followed by Full Moons

As you know, New Moons begin a phase of activity and represent a seeding time which culminates or fulfills about two weeks later at the subsequent Full Moon. On January 15, 2014, a Full Moon @25Can5j8 conjoins US natal Mercury Rx with the Sun @25Cap58, near US natal Pluto Rx, thus stimulating the US Mercury-Pluto opposition of surveillance and secrets. There are no planets OOBs in the Full Moon horoscope, but Venus is Rx @18Cap23, the 'new world order' degree of POLITICAL POWER and 'smug-armed paternalism' (Jones).

1/15/14: Mars @17Lib54 rises (ASC 17Lib23) in Washington DC and spotlights US natal Mars which is Rx by progression @18Lib+ since Summer 2006 (almost a 'Progressed Mars Return') denoting our wounded vets, other militaristic concerns, potential gun violence, protesters, activists, etc. This rising Mars--prominent in the New Moon horoscope, as mentioned above--can act as a trigger for events of a Martian nature especially since a Thor's Hammer pattern is 'aimed at' delusional Neptune @3Pis39 in 5th house.

The base of the Hammer is a Mars-MC square which creates a midpoint picture giving the January 15, 2014 Full Moon 'out of the mainstream' and/or 'withdrawal as an option' vibes though lucky Jupiter @14Can04 Rx in 9th h does conjoin Sirius, the Dog Star, and is about to rejoin US natal Sun. This transit may aid the president with obstructionist Republicans concerning budgetary issues, austerity measures, nominations, and such. Jupiter to Sun shows that 'something begun 12 years ago must be ended or move up to the next level' which sounds much like the 'leave Afghanistan in 2024' substitution for leaving in 2014.

Around the time of the January 15th Full Moon, deception will be used as a strategy, as usual in Politics, and/or communications will be other than they appear (Neptune-Pluto = Mercury--Tyl) which is also very much the usual in Politics.

The Saturn-Neptune = Pluto midpoint picture remains in effect in January 2014 so the 'denial of guilt from responsible parties' continues to interfere with social progress as syndicate criminals walk free, prosper, and live to defraud us again.

Splitting America: The New Madrid Earthquake & Assumption Sinkhole (video)

Earthquakes in the Mississippi Valley have occurred before and are expected again. Nowadays, an actively expanding sinkhole in Louisiana is leaving its calling card which most Americans don't want to accept but there are plenty of physical clues to the level of threat in which the residents of the region now find themselves. With this unstable environment, many home grown residents will refuse to make refugees of themselves in order to keep their families from harm, what I would call a huge shame. Lack of national media attention to these matters stymies public opinion and interferes with our understanding of the gravity of the situation.

Move away!, is the best advice for the entire region yet heeding such a startling idea is seldom easy and often impossible for the snugged-in with few resources.

Yes, a lack of personal assets tends to be the eternal problem blocking simple solutions for it costs a good chunk of money to relocate, especially when there's a family household to move and children's needs to consider during the process. Is government aid available? Well, you know how tattered our traditional Social Safety Net is, thanks to politicians who follow orders from their bosses (not to lessen the culpability of said politicians who act in breach of the public contract).

Such results ripple out from a current transiting midpoint picture:

Saturn-Neptune = Pluto, and this influence adds a 'denial of responsibility from the guilty parties' vibe to the proceedings--and to many other types of proceedings, too. A quick listen to TV 'news' broadcasts will fill you in, if necessary, and you'll hear wealthy Pluto asserting how innocent he is in all matters, financial and otherwise! Earthquakes triggered by HAARP waves, My Pet Goat's hidden significance, and other controversial themes are noted in the video as well with Pluto's usual talents closely involved along with invisible (Neptune) government (Saturn) as conduit and facilitator for puppet master Pluto.

4. Feb 7, 1812 4:45 am; New Madrid, Missouri.

You may note that 'Feb 7' is prevalent in current US political press coverage and important in Washington politics as engineered events unfold in January and February 2014. Also, Feb 7, 2014 will be the 203rd anniversary date of the #4 New Madrid Earthquake of 1812.

In the video (if you can locate it on YouTube) the Louisiana Sinkhole is described as, "Like someone flushed a giant toilet."

An easy suspicion is that the entire region has been flushing down the drain for a long time. Louisiana: Now with More Brine? The sinkhole is the beginning of an Inland Sea which some say will enlarge and divide the physical America we know. Note: once I was advised of a late-days event called, The Shaking. Could the New Madrid Earthquake be it? An earthquake does seem to be what's referred to--a sort of seismic catastrophe. As far as this blog goes, can 'forewarned (really) be forearmed? For that is this blogging American's intent by publishing such a post with the embedded video, above. And it's certainly true that mainstream media in not covering the threat. Wonder why not? The video purports to tell why.

Astrologically, how awful to think of underground Pluto (caverns, tunnels, destruction, permanent transformation) bearing much of the responsibility (though not all of it, for there's the input of Saturn (crust of the Earth/tectonic plates, soil, mud, etc), and Uranus (separation, electrical charges, shocks, disruption, storms, etc) to consider if one reads the roles of planetary actors found in the earthquake horoscopes. Plus, Neptune's watery, dissolving effects are, of course, closely involved as well.

Too Much Jupiter?

The 1st Madrid Quake of 1811 has Jupiter @2Can13 (conjunct US natal Venus)--the first December 1811 quake's Jupiter Return occurred on July 5, 2013 which is the date of our US Solar Return 2013 which did not fall on July 4th this year but on July 5th.

So...is the Louann Salt Dome being completely eroded into caverns and empty spaces, or not? And the Gulf Coast of the US is dissolving (Neptune)? So America is in process of physically dividing and the Sandy Hook event was another staged 'false flag op'? Hardly. Many topics are addressed in the above video presentation relating to current conditions of our nation. My advice to those who are overly sensitive 'ostriches' who blanche at discussions of occult symbolism is: avoid watching the video at all costs! Or, only watch the first few minutes, as you wish. jc

A Bit about the December 16, 1811 Horoscope

Now there are a few quite curious Sabian Symbols at planetary degrees present in the horoscope of the 1st Quake of 1811. Louisiana: 'Bubbling Bayou's and Assumption Sinkholes

Whatever we do, we must not sink into "simple shiftlessness or abandon" of the problems inherent in such a potential catastrophe for action is required in the Gulf Coast region--evacuate, because unavoidable events may occur in which the safety of the region's inhabitants is of uppermost importance, imho--disagree if you must. But I'm one of those common-gooders in the collective sense while simultaneously preferring an individualist's expression as my due. Must be that Uranian American stuff, y'know.

Dec 2013--July 2014: Testy Mars in the Sign of Diplomacy

Mars Ruffles Libra from December 7, 2013 until July 25, 2014!

With all the diplomacy going on these days and since Libra is said to be the sign of diplomacy, I've become somewhat fretful over the long drawn-out transit of 'god of war' Mars through the airy Venus-ruled sign of Libra. As you know, the orbit of Mars around the Sun lasts approximately two years, however, the last transit of Mars through Libra occurred from the end of July 2010 until mid-September 2010--so the 2013/14 transit will occur almost three years later. Sheesh! Impatient Mars makes a long slog through a sign in which 'he' tends to be uncomfortable more often than not, thanks to our Solar System's retrograde phenomenon.

(Regular readers of Stars Over Washington know that I consider what issues forth from Washington DC to be Political Theater anyway, yet it's good to keep up with whatever storyline the media echo chamber is touting the loudest on any given topic. And perhaps you've noticed that there are few if any differences between the Democratic and Republican parties. They just follow the world government script, sad to say. Plus, if We the People don't interrupt their secret TPP deal America will be bowing to global corporations in the blink of a pyramidal eye with national sovereignty a thing of the past just as international corporatists have long planned, the borry sastards.)

But let's get back to Mars in Libra:

Now on his good days, Mars in Libra doesn't act in a particularly negative manner for he actually wants to associate with others and if he can manage to show some cordiality, friendliness, and teamwork, he can successfully achieve his goals--providing that his emotional moods don't lead to too much frankness so that others are put off. Differences, differences, differences! Can they be put aside?

Approximate dates and degrees pertinent to this long transit are Mars' Retrograde Station around March 2, 2014 @27Lib31 after which he seemingly backs up through Libra until reaching approximately 9Lib01 (conjunct Fixed Star Vindemiatrix--see star info below) around May 20, 2014, then moves forward until reaching his own 'shadow' point (the degree of his Rx Station) on or about July 21, 2014. After Mars reconnoiters the same territory in the Zodiac, whatever actions (military or otherwise) have been on hold can begin to move forward once again. Hopefully, these actions will be something the American people will want to move forward--and not the TPP or the groundwater-destroying Keystone XL Pipeline.

Mars-Saturn

During his long sojourn in Libra, Mars will encounter US natal Saturn (14Lib48) indicating a period full of obstacles littering paths (though the blockages may have been self-placed) although much hurry is expected and annoying rules are imposed. Becoming more structured, organized, and focused are possibilities as well and with careful planning, things may work out in the end in spite of delays.

Mars-Sun

Also during the Mars through Libra transit, Mr. Fussy will square US natal Sun (leadership) in Cancer three to five days prior and after conjoining US natal Saturn due to our nation's Sun-Saturn square. In fact, Mars can perform as an excellent trigger so the energy embedded within our Sun-Saturn square will be activated near the dates given above. However, Mars square natal Sun often denotes frustrated actions, difficulties or separation in alliances, and touchy feelings with egos bruised as authority is questioned or challenged.

Whew! Sounds pretty much like the entire presidency of Barack Obama, doesn't it?

Vindemiatrix (the Grapes Gatherer, or just The Gatherer; aka, Epsilon Virgo) is said to be an evil star (Robson) having the nature of Saturn and Mercury (Ptolemy.) Its influence may include disgrace, theft, and wanton folly and may indicate a loss of partner thus creating widows or widowers (Brady.) However, Ebertin mentions Vindemiatrix as providing mental concentration which aids such people as businessmen and architects.

Its magnitude has dimmed in our days so the star's influence is not as keenly felt as it once was, plus, precession has taken a toll. Still, its role as The Vintager may be pertinent to modern-day horoscopes (along with asteroid Bacchus) and I have seen its degree triggered during times of widowing or of 'reaping what's been sown' which is what this Saturnian astrologer describes as karma. jc
