Late 2018 Lunations plus 2018 Solstices and Equinoxes

November 21, 2018: Coming soon is a significant lunation on December 7, 2018, a New Moon in mid-Sagittarius, plus, you may wish to consider a previous post containing links to the 2018 Spring and Autumn Equinox Horoscopes, the chart of the 2018 Summer Solstice, and a view of the Winter Solstice 2018 Horoscope. All charts are set for Washington DC as is typical here on Stars Over Washington (with DC representing America as well) and all have my study notes scribbled upon them for those who can appreciate if not benefit from my well-intended messiness. (Some artists write quite messily or at least this one does though yours truly can do better if she's not in a hurry.)

Of course, as I type it's still November so prior to the December 7th New Moon we must navigate this Friday's Full Moon @00Gem52 on November 23, 2018--nearly a Thanksgiving Full Moon yet the activation of weeping star Alcyone (00Gemini) might complicate certain conditions or events especially in relation to water, accidents, or blindness (inner or outer).

How 2018 Began Affects the Entire Year and How It Ends

Perhaps we should again note the lunation which opened 2018, the New Year's Day Full Moon in Cancer with its Sabian Symbol (12Cancer) pointing toward China and messages. Next a fresh cycle of activity began with the January 16, 2018 New Moon @27Capricorn which significantly conjoined America's natal Pluto with all the implications that transforming, deconstructing, sabotaging, spying, assassinating, wealth-hoarding underworld 'god' Pluto brings along whenever he's hiding behind the curtain and invisibly manipulating people and events from afar. This 'plutonian' lunation conjured visions of the 2016 RNC's Full Moon @27Capricorn in July which spotlighted our national Pluto in bold relief along with major power plays which transformed the Republican Party platform in Russia's favor and heralded the ongoing sabotage of the US government in the form of Donald Trump, as we now see so obviously. For as you know, Plutocracy and its just-as-evil twin Autocracy are on the rise here and across the globe and Big T is all for it as a lucrative endeavor benefiting his personal coffers and his power-wielding social status.

At least, his continued prominence is what Mr. Trump desperately assumes will be the case.

Also of note between RNC 2016 and the first half of 2019 (a 'time link' of sorts) is the 2 South Solar Eclipse of January 5, 2019 @15Cap25 which 'eclipses' the rising Pluto in the RNC 2016 Full Moon chart and, as 'wild card/cosmic blink' eclipses tend to do, will probably uncover or spotlight more information, scandals, or secrets concerning the Trump-GOP-Russia situation with the 2 South eclipse's 'joining unusual groups and gaining a great deal' implications (Brady) with possibly a Mueller report revealed in late 2018 or early 2019. Or perhaps the Mueller report will be uncovered for public viewing, at least in part, by a significant Lunar Eclipse on January 21, 2019 @00Leo52 which will 'eclipse' or blot out the light of the US POTUS Sun as 2019 proceeds and influences the Collective Unconscious.

DC Horoscopes: Dec 2016 New Moon w/ Jan 2017 Full Moon

The December 2016 New Moon in Capricorn conjoins a difficult fixed star, Facies, one of the 'victim stars' with potentials for: violence, war, death, blindness, detachment, frigidity, leadership ability, perfectionism, earthquakes.

The first lunation of 2017 in January, a Full Moon in Cancer, falls between the Dark-and-Light Twin Stars Castor and Pollux. Both stars suggest creativity, in writing particularly but Castor's potentials also include such things as: sudden fame or loss, crippling of limbs, mental illness, and murder, while Pollux's potentials are: murder, disgrace, rape, cruelty, success with Astrology or the occult, and danger from large animals, poisons, or...women.

As for Washington DC, on January 6, 2017 the new 115th Congress convenes and puts their official stamp on the December 19, 2016 Electoral College vote for Mr. Trump. You remember December 19th - when the Electoral College failed in its prime mandate to protect the US presidency and the American people from a dangerous demagogue president like loutish Donald the Demagogue? Still, my hopes are for Trump's 'plans' to work for the benefit of all Americans - even though the billionaire class he favors already has a huuuuge running start.

Horoscope: Nov 2016 Ends with a Sag New Moon and Trump (S)elected

Below is the DC Horoscope of the New Moon that perfects on November 29, 2016 @7Sag42 at 7:18:10 am est. As you see, rising in Washington is 9Sag09 which brings up the New Moon and also a turbulent star, royal Antares, which when active tends toward war, violence, fires, quarrels, suspicion, legal problems, and/or riches but sudden loss (Horary Astrology Plain and Simple, A. Louis). This reminds me of the disturbing Mars-Saturn conjunction which joined Antares on August 24, 2016 @9Sag52:

On a political level, the destructive energy of Mars combined with Saturn suggests potentials for: military power and continuing action, interference with or by criminal elements, ambitiously taking what belongs to another, 'an older enterprise that becomes angered', and/or 'demands to halt armaments' (paraphrasing Munkasey's Midpoints: Unleashing the Power of the Planets). Notably, Mars-Saturn is sometimes called 'the death axis' and relates to health issues, stalemates, and failure.

When rising as it is here, a midpoint picture is formed which Ebertin gives as:

Mars-Saturn = ASC: difficult advancement; obstacles caused by other people; a need to economize; illness; separation; mourning and bereavement.

So is there a Mars-Saturn imprint upon the psyche of president-select Donald Trump? Unfortunately for America, there is. It's Mars-Saturn = Pluto: brutality; the rage or fury of destruction; intervening of a higher power; bodily harm or injury; murder, death of many people. Mr. Trump was born under the influence of this midpoint picture yet let's not slip into a review of his life story to see if its enraged energies have expressed before. (Criminal elements in his past are enough to satisfy such potentials, and not being a gambler myself, I believe Trump's gambling casino businesses alone are enough to identify Underworld criminal tendencies or associations but please feel free to disagree).

Now as you know, Pluto (in partnership with Neptune in particular) represents many things and among them is the criminal Underworld, or 'mafia', and, besides gambling, drug and sex trafficking. Descriptively, the New Moon chart (lower left) reveals another midpoint picture with Pluto again as apex planet of the Jupiter-Uranus opposition forming a dynamic T-Square:

Jupiter-Uranus = Pluto: a sudden change in financial conditions (Ebertin); extreme efforts to produce novel changes; extreme reworking of ideas to ensure they work properly and will be received correctly; devices with the potential to transform the world (which is why the New Moon horoscope is entitled, World Transformation). Can one little New Moon act as a marker for world transformation? Yes, actually it can. Because New Moons are capable of 'wild card' influences in similar Uranian fashion that is often seen with a Solar Eclipse just as a Full Moon can affect us much as a Lunar Eclipse can do.

Well, quirky maverick Mr. Trump is not only an unpredictable Uranian (Uranus in deal-making Gemini leads all the planets in his natal chart) but he is also a Plutonian as we've previously discussed--a Plutonian with an Unaspected Pluto in Sun-ruled Leo, with Pluto's powerful qualities unmoderated by his other natal planets.

Now, one week after the General Election of 2016, I must wonder if Trump voters and supporters really want a Ku Klux Klan White House for that is what they voted for on November 8th when they thought they were voting for 'hero' Trump's magical job-creating campaign promises. Tragically for America and the world, the word suckas can hardly cover such thoughtless gullibility.

July 15, 2016 GOP Candidate Trump to Announce VP Pick

On Friday July 15, 2016, Candidate Donald Trump Set to Announce His VP Pick

Today is Thursday July 14th, the radio is on, and as I await Herman Cain's live call-in interview with Donald Trump at 11:00 am this morning, I peek at the horoscope for Trump's VP announcement said to be scheduled for tomorrow July 15th at 11:00 am (NYC). Hints suggest will be Indiana Governor Mike Pence because his name isn't on the RNC 2016 speakers list.

Update 1:00 pm edt: WSB Radio reports that Mike Pence is Trump's VP choice.

Later update: Trump canceled due to the attack in Nice, France and won't confirm Mike Pence as VP pick. Changeable Gemini.

Note: Trump and Cain (natal Saturn-Pluto = Mars, and Trump is nothing if he isn't Mars-and-Regulus-rising) spoke for about 13 minutes on what Trump will do for America, the Justice Ginsburg diss and apology, and the importance of nominating conservatives on the Supreme Court; he also mentioned tomorrow's VP announcement at 11:00 am.

Trump VP Announcement July 15, 2016 11:00 am edt NYC

For me, two chart factors stand out: 1. the trio of Mars (24Sco40), Moon (2Sag54), and Saturn (10Sag25 Rx) which create a difficult midpoint picture suggesting loss, moodiness, depression, and/or a weak will (Ebertin; Tyl), plus, '1Sag' is the "A Grand army of the Republic Campfire" degree.

If we turn to Michael Munkasey's midpoints, we find potentials for: anger over restrictions, fluctuations of energy levels, development of courage or strength, and/or an awareness of the need to restrain impulsive activity (my guess with a VP Pence) though who can say if Pence, Gingrich, or anyone as VP can moderate the actions, rash emotions, and indisretion of Mr. Trump. As you know, the Mars-Saturn duo indicates such things as: destructive energy, using force when restraint is required, taking what belongs to another, persistent wars, use of strife and struggle, demands to halt armaments, frustrations imposed by or upon criminal elements, plus, Mars-Saturn marks the death axis in a horoscope. Needless to say, any Moon is a very uncomfortable Moon when she's between Mars and Saturn, and a mundane Moon in American charts = We the People. This midpoint picture suggests the warring implications as mentioned, above, including the further militarization of police forces.

Chart factor 2. At Midheaven, the WHY? Point of any horoscope, on Friday July 15, 2016 at 11:00 am edt NYC is 25Gem18, the precise degree of Donald Trump's New Moon announcement of his presidential run on the morning of June 16, 2015. You'll remember that Mr. Trump used an agency to round up audience members and paid them each $50 to be there for his announcement and pretend to be in favor of it.

As Mr. Trump has said, he's only the messenger, and this assertion (which I've heard him say myself) is supported by the Gemini New Moon that began his campaign yet this necessarily begs the question: exactly whose message is he delivering? Perhaps we'll find out during the RNC and the RNC Full Moon of fulfillment and culmination which conjoins America's natal Pluto in Capricorn, significator of The Dictator who destroys so that he can rebuild anew upon the ruins.

Suitable for children, check out these Fun Facts about Governor Mike Pence born June 7, 1959 Columbus, IN, a Sun Gemini like Mr. Trump as is Newt Gingrich who also shares Trump's Sagittarian Moon--too much alike? Well, as for Mars and Saturn, Pence has them inconjunct which indicates that he's easy to intimidate, something Trump excels in and what Gingrich doesn't have. Plus, if Mr. Pence was born between 12:00 am and 12:44 pm CDT, his Moon is also in Gemini along with his Mercury--and all are grouped near Mr. Trump's natal Gemini placements. That's an abundance of wheeler-dealer Gemini, sign of The Messenger, which may provide excitement yet is unstable, changeable, and sometimes duplicitous.

Pence, Gingrich--and perhaps I should add today's Crazy Rumor which surely will be dispelled when Trump speaks tomorrow at 11:00 am or so: Rush Limbaugh for VP! The White House as right wing radio show? Please don't stay home on November 8th. Please.

A Shutdown Fight for Speaker Paul Ryan and a December 2015 New Moon

With a very brief honeymoon over, Speaker of the House Paul Ryan's First Shutdown Fight is souring the air as the appropriations bill deadline of December 11, 2015 looms.

If lawmakers don't act sooner, December 11, 2015's New Moon @19Sag03 will imprint its expansive Jupiterian energies (Sag) upon a balking US Congress and the 2015 appropriations bill, so at this point, a government shutdown lurks within the shadows of the New Moon, the seeding phase. As you know, there is a 'dark of the Moon' Balsamic phase for three days prior to a New Moon perfection and a bit after. The New Moon perfects at 5:29 am est on Friday December 11, 2015 and, also on December 11, the Moon enters a void-of-course period beginning at 11:06 am est until reaching Capricorn (sign of government, law, and business) on Saturday December 12 at 1:46 am est.

So for the 12/11/15 deadline (if they stick to that date), action taken before 11:06 am est that day may turn out okay but if Capitol Hill politicians want nothing to come of the appropriations bill (and I suspect there are dozens of zealots who want nothing because they're cheering for a shutdown), they should start the action, take votes, whatever--during the lunar void-of-course period of December 11, 2015 (11:06 am) into Saturday December 12 (after 1:46 am.)

Unless, of course, they've already taken care of the people's business concerning this economic matter and have successfully passed the dratted thing.

The New Moon in Sagittarius leads to the fulfillment-culmination-awareness stage at the December 25, 2015 Full Moon @3Can20 which conjoins US natal Venus and waves at America's natal Jupiter @5Can56. This points again to potentials for pocket-lining, budgetary conflicts, political donations, campaign funding, privatization of social safety net programs, and other financial and societal considerations as year 2015 careens to a close.

Additionally, the December 2015 New and Full Moons bookend Winter Solstice 2015 which perfects on Monday December 21 at 11:48 pm est with Sun @00Cap00:00 and the Moon exalted in Venus-ruled Taurus, one of the money signs. Horoscopes: New Moon May 18 and Full Moon June 2, 2015

A Partial Consideration of the Lunations of May 18 and June 2, 2015 with Horoscopes Set for Washington DC

New and Full Moons may have similar effects as Solar and Lunar Eclipses especially when manifesting on sensitive degrees. Therefore, let's take a look at those of May 18 and June 2, 2015 in relation to current societal issues. On May 18 a New Moon manifests in Venus-ruled Taurus (26:55) with the Jupiter-Neptune midpoint--the speculator-wastrel-grand-spirit pair of inflation, big schemes, and/or over-promising--conjoining the lunation amidst the stars of the constellation Pleiades. The Pleiades in late Taurus includes one of the more difficult stars in the heavens: Algol, a demon star of rage and destruction which is stimulated by May's New Moon. At the Full Moon of June 2 we find Alcyone angular instead and the input of such stars knits together the months of May and June 2015 and points toward America's ill-advised involvement in the Middle East being on the agenda.

Here are the May 18 New Moon chart and the June 2 Full Moon chart; both horoscopes are set for Washington DC as is my typical practice here on SO'W:

New Moon @26Tau55 May 18, 2015 12:13:11 am EDT Washington DC; Hour of Mercury (Stationary in 5th house); ASC 21Cap17; MC 14Sco15 conjunct the Full Moon of May 3/4, 2015 @13Sco22 which is the Syzygy Moon of this chart. Mercury retrogrades back to 4Gem35 stationing Direct on June 11 and conjoins this New Moon's Mars (4Gem16) denoting energized thinking and planning, thoughts turning into action, and quickly flowing streams of ideas and information. Of course, you know that New Moons time new cycles of activity and projects though there may be a few shady actions perpetrated during the 3-day lead-up when Luna is darkest.

Please enlarge the images to read a few notes penned messily about the charts such as a friendly Mutual Reception between the exalted-in-Taurus Moon and planet Venus in Moon-ruled Cancer at the New Moon. A Water Grand Trine of sorts (if we include the MC with Osiris upon it) is highlighted with a Venus-Neptune trine from 2nd to 6th house denoting much creative talent expressed at the Career Point (MC) yet with an idealism and vision that inspires trust in others. However, the Venus-Neptune pair also has a hidden side such as the practice of goddess worship (exs: the Catholic Church, the Babylonian Mysteries, New Age 'World Mother' Isis stuff, etc) and/or a reliance upon romantic fantasy, magic, or illusion.

In the realms of Business and Politics, Venus-Neptune can represent an inflated treasury (supported by fraudulent Neptune in 2nd house of the National Treasury and in its own murky sign, and Venus in the house of service such as Civil Service, military forces, and police. At 11Can06, evaluating Venus trods among America's natal Venus, Jupiter, and Sun and at the "A Chinese Woman Nursing a Baby with a Message" degree in Sabian Symbols; plus, using inflation as a way to manipulate growth, wealth derived from oil, gas, or chemicals, internal resources that are misstated or exaggerated; scandals over deceptive practices or misuse of the treasury, subversives gaining access to finances (which includes hackers, of course), spies within financial branches, monetary fraud, and crimes involving art deception.

Yes, trines (120 degrees) can provide a slippery slope for all manner of activities to easily manifest, whether positive or negative. Let us hope that this particular Venus-Neptune trine brings positive results in banking or otherwise.

So there is Saturn-ruled Capricorn rising, sign of Business, Law, and Government, with manipulative Pluto @15Cap18 Rx just risen into the 12th house of Politics and Secret Deals; about 6 degrees below the horizon plods US natal Pluto (27:55) so we know that plutonian themes are particularly on the rise at the May 18 New Moon including the US natal Mercury-Pluto opposition of surveillance, spies, and propaganda. Scorpio is on the 10th house cusp indicating some notice by the public being taken of plutonic issues which must include nuclear considerations as well. In addition, Saturn Rx @2Sag00 is posited in its natural 10th house so perhaps a 'fall from grace' by an authority figure (probably in relation to finances or government) may be on the calendar especially with Saturn @00Sag51 Rx conjunct the IC (Endings, Separations) in the June 2 Full Moon chart.

This 00 degree rejoined by restrictive Saturn hints at a military link ('1Sag' = "A Grand Army of the Republic Campfire") so the authority figure may be in relation to our military or somehow connected to a dictatorship. Of course, Saturn soon re-enters Scorpio, sign of Corporatism and Big Business, and at the May 18 New Moon, US natal Neptune and President Obama's natal Mars fall into the Scorpionic 8th house of the chart. Misguided actions on financial and corporate levels? If so, they may be revealed by the light of the June 2 Full Moon.

Other links to financial matters exist. The New Moon's 2/8 cusps of Money spotlight the degrees of America's Secondary Progressed (SP) Full Moon of December 2008 when our nation reached its limit (Crash of 2008) on the world stage with SP Moon @4Vir10 and SP Sun @4Pis10. You will remember that our National Treasury and many people's Pension funds were raided by the Bush-Cheney gang with a lot of help from Wall Street, the Fed, Goldman-Sachs and others, and enabled by the Obama White House. Plus, we find another chart factor knitting together the May and June lunations--North Node of Destiny in 8th house in the New Moon chart and 2nd house at the Full Moon as Money and Values intertwine.

As for We the People, one of the more difficult planetary pairs rises in DC at the New Moon giving a picture of potentials to interpret some of which relate nicely to 2016 candidates and public perceptions of their hot-air campaign promises and typical change-with-the-wind tactics:

Saturn-Neptune = ASC: noticing the false intentions or pretenses of others; inhibitions over corrections of long standing areas of disappointment; oppressive family circumstances; limitation of freedom. Also the secret/invisible (Neptune) government (Saturn) that shadows the politicians we see on TV is indicated. Plus, the Saturn-Neptune pair in Business and Politics contains interesting potentials: delusions among the real leadership; older programs which have no real purpose; policies that restrict spies (or whistle blowers?); inefficient use of expert advice ("I'm no scientist"?); mistaken religious leaders; leaders deceive about the exercise of control (in Texas? #JadeHelm15 ?!); exposure of deficient business practices (but seldom any prison time); respected persons involved in questionable enterprises; a leader capitulates; reliable equipment fails.

So chart-ruler Saturn opposes the New Moon (5A04) which gives a depressive yet determined flavor (Moon = the public, public trends and moods) and many challenges for leadership (Sun) as the lunation grows in light toward Full Moon status, a phase of awareness, fulfillment, culmination (of something begun around the time of this New Moon), but also of obstacles or inhibitions due to the opposition aspect with austere, conservative Saturn involved. The word 'stalemate' comes to mind.

On a lighter note, banker-politician-investor Jupiter @14Leo53 trines progressive Utopian Uranus (18Ari41) from the 7th house of Partnerships to the 3rd house of Communications hinting at breakthroughs (probably in scientific and/or technological fields), new discoveries, fortunate turns, an urge for freedom, and possible growth after periods of reform. Lest we become too giddy on the high-flying Jupiter-Uranus magic carpet, we note that civil war, unrest, and political conflict may be indicated as well though perhaps the protective nature of the trine will mitigate the negative nature of events if necessary. Along with scientists and researchers, organizers, inventors, adventurers, explorers, fortune hunters, and zealots with one-sided views are also implied by the Jupiter-Uranus combination of energies.

Now let's move on to the Full Moon chart of June 2, 2015 manifesting across the higher mind/lower mind 3/9 axis of Gemini-Sagittarius at 12:18:59 pm EDT; Moon @11Sag49 in 4th house opposite Sun @11Gem49 in 10th house; Hour of Saturn (Rx in 4th h conjunct IC 00Sag40, as noted above); fixed star Alcyone of the Pleiades conjoins Midheaven (MC), The Goal or Why? Point of any horoscope with its something to cry about--mystical but judgmental flavors. Also conjoining MC is the Solar Eclipse degree of May 20, 2012 hinting at returning themes of the 14 South Saros Series, details given below, yet including themes of the current Solar Eclipse Series (PE), the 17 South, which manifested at Spring Equinox on March 20, 2015 @29Pis27 and conjoined the 00:00 Aries Point of World Manifestation:

ASC 4Vir40, as noted above, is the position of the Sun in America's Progressed Full Moon chart of December 2008 (when a July 4, 1776 US natal chart is used); Hour of Saturn; chart-ruler Mercury (7Gem19 Rx in 10th house with Sun and Mars) makes one major applying aspect, an opposition to Saturn conjunct the IC (Domestic Scene; Real Estate) which spotlights the 4/10 Cancer-Capricorn axis of Security. Mercury opposing Saturn denotes strong opinions, shady deals and contracts (the TPP and other trade deals that are much more than they are purported to be?); professional troubles may also be indicated along with computing programming methods, delayed discussions or meetings, and treaties which are difficult to debate or negotiate.

Additionally, Mercury Rx @7Gem19 shows its ongoing conjunction to America's natal Uranus @8Gem55, our war indicator, which hints at potentials for labor coalitions or unions at work, reforms that cause transportation disruptions, propaganda used during emergencies, business groups that help initiate policies, those who care for numbers and data more than for people, riots or rebellion that begin because information concerning goals are not defined or well explained, breakthroughs in communications or info transmission (computers, the Internet, private systems), and/or increase or disruption in the distribution of financial, political, or societal newsletters or reports may occur.

Now unlike the New Moon, Saturn here only opposes Mercury and it's cloudy Neptune affecting the Full Moon (and Mercury) via a square aspect of blockages, obstacles, and hindrances. This forms a T-Square and a midpoint picture of Sun-Moon = Neptune, an image of discontentment, shared suffering, mistakes, disappointment, illusion and deception, self-torment, easy upsets, and a general lack of trust within partnerships and alliances. February 2015: In the Waning Darkness of an Aquarian New Moon

Aquarius is the sign so often associated with New Age ideas and ideals leaning into a Utopian vision where Reason alone allegedly uplifts humanity. Certainly Politics as a practice and a profession is not exempt from Aquarian influences which now are at a peak within this the 15-year-old New Millennium with code words such as 'new order' and 'global government' being openly touted every day.

This 'new order' means the old order will be destroyed and US sovereignty and the nation-state are considered things of the past. Trade pacts and ill-protected borders do their parts in the dissolution game along with infiltrated courts and institutions.

Wealth-hoarder and transformer Pluto of The Underworld now creeps through Saturn-ruled Capricorn, sign of law, government, and business, toppling heads of state and causing irrevocable damage to protective laws and useful traditions. In year 2022, America will experience her first ever Pluto Return and some say that 2016 will be the last presidential campaign in US history--if so, 2022 arrives only two years after a 'last presidency' ends for the term of office begins, of course, at noon on January 20, 2017 assuming that all goes as traditionally planned.

So if we look to the Cosmos on February 18, 2015 we find a new cycle of Aquarian influences beginning as marked by a New Moon at a critical-crisis 29th degree. Yet the Aquarian influence wanes and an anxious eagerness may be in evidence as 00Pisces looms upon the solar and lunar calendars for the Moon enters Pisces at 6:47 pm and the Sun enters at 6:50 pm est. Perhaps the lunation manifesting at 29AQ denotes that the time has come for certain actions to be taken for the planning stage has been successfully completed. And symbolically the murky realms of Pisces can provide high inspiration--or much cover for unsavory actions and events as 2015 proceeds.

Curiously, February 18, 2015 is the date set by the White House for a 'Security Summit' of global leaders which is ostensibly justified because of the attacks on Charlie Hebdo offices in Paris, a tragic event which some believe was a false flag op so that new security measures could seem justified in France and across Europe. You know--like the 2001 WTC attacks that 'justified' the pre-prepared US Patriot Act and the Germanic sounding Department of 'Homeland Security'.

Here, the plutocratic pair of Pluto-Chiron in sextile form the base of a YOD (a pattern with potentials for crisis, crossroads, turning point, special task, health issues) that points to Jupiter Rx @16Leo02 and on the verge of leaving the 12th house of Politics and Karma (12th cusp 15Leo01, a degree that recalls the Full Moon of February 3, 2015 @14Leo). With the Leo-AQ axis emphasized, we may expect self will and humanitarianism to be on the collective menu until we morph into the victim-savior Virgo-Pisces axis at the March 20, 2015 Spring Equinox and Solar Eclipse.

As noted in previous posts, transit Jupiter turns Direct on April 8, 2015 @12Leo (again conjoining President Obama's natal Sun) and passes shadow degree in early July when investment, expansion, and political plans and actions may proceed more freely.

Jupiter-NN: Compromised Legal Societies and SOTU Plans Retracted

Now in the February 18 New Moon horoscope set for Washington DC 6:47:13 pm est the Jupiter-NN midpoint rises @12Vir34. This midpoint was prominent in similar fashion (rising) in the horoscope of President Obama's SOTU 2015 address on the 6th anniversary of his 8-year presidency--an Inaugural Solar Return and a symbol of a new 2-year phase beginning for him and for his style of global implementation of a 'new order'. As you know, our military guided by the Pentagon, a 5-pointed death star, acts as the military enforcement arm on behalf of global government though the armies of other nations and entities are in process of being fitted up for the task once ours is totally used up.

As you know, archetypal Jupiter plays roles such as the General, the Banker, the Religious Leader, the Broadcaster, the Professor, and the Politician and is prominent in all horoscopes this year. When coupled with the North Node (NN) of future direction, he makes contact with the general public quite often, sometimes pleasant contact.

In the New Moon chart, the only applying Ptolemaic aspect made by chart and Midheaven ruler Mercury (in 5th house @4AQ05) is a sextile with Saturn (in 3rd house @4Sag27) and this denotes needs for better organization and management, setting priorities, and the protection of privacy (especially for communications), plus, a tendency toward bickering, not heeding warnings, and/or for listening to alternate opinions (Epstein). One of boundary crossing Jupiter's loves, freedom of expression continues to turn up in the news and spying on the conversations of others is a default position for many (I won't name names but ya know who ya are).

We may also expect the wealthy financial donors of our sold-out politicians to continue working toward their ultimate goal of total ownership of the tattered-on-purpose US government as February fades into March and Spring 2015.

Note: the Feb 18 New Moon conjoins America's reputed Pre-Natal Eclipse degree of 00Pis33 in the 12 South Series that manifested prior to July 4, 1776--I say 'reputed' because the August 14, 1776 Solar Eclipse in the 13 North Series--the initial eclipse of the Series and thus indicative of a major new start--seems more descriptive of our nation and its founding than the 00Pisces eclipse. Plus, as you know, the Declaration of Independence was signed in full on August 2, 1776 which falls within the required two-week window of influence by the August 14, 1776 eclipse.

1/11/15 Paris Unity Rally as world leaders line up for photo op

Today in Paris France thousands of people from across the globe rallied against the recent terrorist attacks and murders that began in a big way with the mayhem perpetrated upon the offices of a radical French publication and its political cartoons. Placards with Je Suis Charlie and Liberte were held up in the streets of Paris today in solidarity with the concept of freedom of expression which the victims were exercising via publication of satiric cartoons spoofing Islam. This morning American news broadcasts and other sources focused upon the Rally in Paris and the "historic" gathering of world leaders, hypocrites though they be.

Venus-Loving Paris, 'City of Light' Where the Term 'Terror' Was Coined

How opportunistic that world chuckleheads...er, I mean, leaders...positioned themselves at the head of the massive crowd of marchers while posing for the cameras in their black garb! Especially since many if not all of these same leaders and others before them have thrown journalists in prison for exercising their right to free speech. Mais oui, it's all happening today in Grand Orient Paris, City of Light--and underground City of Skulls (see link to creepiness at end of this post).

Back in the days of the French Revolution, Robespierre and his cohorts thought they would establish a 'new order' with France at its head--a 'Rational' State based on the Enlightenment principles of Uranus-Neptune (sans God) with the bloody guillotine at its ready disposal and aimed at the heads of all who disagreed. Astro-Notes: January 11, 2015 and February 18, 2015

Well, today's Rally in Paris, the attacks that inspired it, and other recent events fall under the auspices of the last lunation, the January 4/5, 2015 Full Moon @14Can3---conjunct Egypt's favorite star, Isis goddess Sirius. The January Full Moon also triggered US natal Sun (the president) and it's of interest that during this morning's broadcast concerning the Paris Unity Rally, it was announced that President Obama (who is not in Paris today but Abbas, Netanyahu, Cameron, Merkel, and several other leading chuckleheads of the monarchical bloodline persuasion are) has called for a "Security" Summit of global leaders to be held at the White House on February 18, 2015--the day of a Pisces New Moon and what the Vatican calls an 'Ash Wednesday'.

Yes, global leaders (signified by Jupiter Rx leading a Locomotive pattern) placed themselves at the head of thousands of marchers today yet Jupiter is unaspected, suggesting their complete detachment from the public and our concerns as they gathered for this weirdly stage-managed photo op--as if Merkel and her crew are really part of the event rather than mere opportunists.

And we must mention the 6th exact Cardinal Square between Uranus and Pluto on December 15, 2014 and the generational clashes and power struggles it's brought to the world as the ancient regime of Pluto attempts to block upstart Uranus, planet of a New Age. Their last exact square is on March 16, 2015 and we must hope that social stalemates can simmer down a bit as 2015 proceeds though the serious effects upon everyone's Civil Rights lie in the balance.

February 18, 2015: Some Shady Doings Under Cover of Lunar Darkness

The Summit will already have begun in Washington DC when, in the midst of lunar darkness, the Feb 18th New Moon perfects at 6:47:13 pm EST during a Solar Hour with 12Vir34 rising, a 6th house Neptune @6Pis59 as the chart's final dispositor (says SolarFire v9), a 6th house New Moon @29AQ59 (anxious to reach the depths of murky Pisces--squared by Saturn and reaching for Neptune's veil), and Jupiter Rx @16Leo02 in the 12th house of Politics, Karma, and Self-Undoing.

Financial planet Jupiter Rx is the handle of a Bucket pattern and as such, links the hemispheres of the chart together with cautious preparedness his aim. Leo is, as you know, the royal sign of the 'natural ruler' though until April 8, 2015, Jupiter will regress toward President Obama's natal Sun once again so perhaps we should consider this Bucket handle Jupiter to represent Mr. Obama since the Security Summit will be held at the White House. He will be using the physical assets of the White house to appear more attractive to the Summit's attendees (Mercury-Venus = Sun) with an increased sensitivity to the desires of others (Mercury-Venus = Moon) though one wonders with asteroids Sappho and intoxicated Bacchus conjoining quirky Uranus in the 8th house of Sexual Relations! Will some of the Summit's shady doings under cover of a darkened Moon involve drunken drugged-out orgies? If so, then...peep-eye! Of course, this trio in 8th house could just as easily be seen as practicing a delirious pagan ritual in honor of an ancient goddess, couldn't it?

A Bucket pattern of planets indicates an uncompromising direction of effort with little if any concern for conservation of resources or for the end results. Jupiter here is the executive, yes, but in a reviewing of resources role since he's retrograde--not weaker, but more inward facing. Allegiances tend to be adapted with a Bucket pattern so that 'efforts can count for the most'; Jupiter here is the motivator and inspirer of the Summit and provides us with clues to his 'unremitting zeal'. Historical figures born under the influence of a Bucket pattern include: Napoleon Bonaparte (handle: 'new order' planet Uranus), Dante (handle: Pluto, god of Hades), William Jennings Bryan (handle: Mars), and Evangeline Adams (handle: Saturn, traditional ruler of Astrology). Another chart factor in relation to Jupiter is trickster Pan and wealthy Midas both Rx and conjunct Midheaven (The Goal Point) which falls at 10Gem01 so the Virgo Ascendant elects Mercury, planet of meetings, discussions, communications, crossroads, trade, and speeches, as chart-ruler (and MC-ruler) so we may expect the financial aspects of circumstances to involve the usual fraud and trickery (fraudulent Neptune as Final Dispositor, instigator Mars--at a critical-crisis 29th degree and about to join his own Aries Point--ruling the New Moon's corporate 8th house of Transformation with disruptive, zealous, new-agey anarchist Uranus in Aries therein.

Speedy traveler Mercury @4AQ05 (in 5th house of Risk-Taking and Speculation) closely sextiles Saturn @4Sag27 (in 3rd house of Communications), the Manager and Task-Bringer, and their near-exact sextile, the only applying aspect made by chart-ruler Mercury (0A22), offers clues about the underlying purpose/s of the White House "Security" Summit of global leaders, plus, with both planets at 4 degrees of their signs, we may say there are fated undertones to this "home grown terrorists" discussion during the February 18th "Summit on Countering Violent Extremism" (translation: suppressing all opposition to Global Government implementation by Global Police and Military Forces).

Certainly on at least one level there are fated undertones afoot of the reap-what-was-sown variety since 'blow back' due to the expansion of a controlling Global Government (forcing a 'new world order' upon the masses) has created many enemies for the West with innocent people the victims and Easterners attempting to enforce a global Caliphate of their own, Sharia law and all. The ancient East v West conflict continues to be about who will 'win' global control over the planet as World War III is triggered (you saw the Illuminatists out in force today in the streets of Paris if your eyes were alert! The true instigators remained behind the scenes, of course, but the nwo's political mouthpieces had their 'historic' photo op in full view of the public.)

A Talented Mercury-Saturn Sextile Tells a Tale

So what might Mercury sextile (60 degrees) Saturn intend to say and do during Security Summit 2015? Here is a list of potentials: issue warnings which may or may not be listened to, set priorities, manage resources, explain guidelines and rules, and organize expressions of discontent (of the group and/or of the masses). This sextile also indicates that conflicts and bickering may erupt among the chuckleheads in attendance.

Let me add that my above remark about attendees of a 'monarchical bloodline persuasion' is based in part on Mercury's rounded-up Sabian Symbol for '5AQ": "A Council of Ancestors" which aptly describes the February 18th Summit, imho, especially since even modern world leaders' descendancy from a certain bloodline has been recorded and includes despots like Alfred and Alexander the Greats, Charlemagne, William the Conqueror, pharoahs such as Cleopatra (natal chart shown), French, German, British and other monarchical families including Queen Elizabeth II, PM David Cameron--in America, George Washington (a Star family descendant), Thomas Jefferson, John Adams (a Dragon family descendant), the Roosevelts, the Bushs, Bill 'Clinton', the Rockefellers, Barack Obama, and others you may think to name.

Oh and btw: New Moon Mercury conjoins America's natal South Node which denotes the karma of past behavior the US government so often depends upon to deal with current problems while expecting different results--though I suspect that all governments prefer expectable results from their actions and don't really want 'different' outcomes at all.

June 27, 2014: Mercury, Pan, and a New Moon in Cancer

As of Wednesday June 25, 2014, we'll enter the Dark of the Moon--the three days prior to a New Moon when things tend to go bump in the night and shady actions may be perpetrated by any, all, or none. The New Moon perfects at 5Can37 which, as many people know, conjoins the natal position of America's Jupiter (July 4, 1776.)

On June 27th, this Friday, the New Moon perfection occurs at 4:08:27 am edt and in Washington DC, 11Gem07 rises with extra body Pan (a mercurial trickster element hinting at Capricornian pursuits such as gilt-edged stocks and trading, and governmental activities perhaps better left hidden.) Chart-ruler Mercury @25Gem02 Rx is rising in 1st house but makes no major applying aspects in the horoscope denoting that Mercury's sign, degree, and house placement are all important with a New Moon phase signaling that a new cycle of activity has begun. The typical realms of Mercury may be affected by a new cycle such as transportation, travel, commerce, sales, journalism, etc., and Cancer hints at home, food, business, maritime, and/or security concerns.

Besides the chart itself, Mercury also rules the New Moon horoscope's 5th cusp (18Vir14, in DC), the house of Risk-Taking, Speculation, and Gambling. This is one of the chart factors hinting that this New Moon contains implications of financial goings-on with Fed head Janet Yellen possibly a prominent actor (over the next two weeks in particular with something--an event or relationship--culminating or coming to fruition around the next Full Moon in Capricorn on July 12th.) Curiously, the Fed's Secondary Progressed (SP) Moon will reach 5Can30 on June 27, 2014 and be conjoined and darkened by this New Moon. ('The Fed' natal chart I'm using is set for December 23, 1913 with Sun conjunct Midheaven @1Cap17, Capitol Hill--Senator Aldrich and the banksters waited until Congress left town for Christmas break before sneaking the bill through.)

The combination of Moon with Jupiter denotes such things as business dealings, female officials or civil servants (IRS? the Fed?), legal conflicts, large-scale enterprises, negligence, injustice, successful entrepreneurs, rebellion, inner conflict over religion or politics (I.S.I.S? the Republican Party's reputed inner conflict of Establishment v Tea Party?)

Other potentials are shown in the chart as well, of course. So with my blogging time almost gone I shall add only four more chart factors here though there are many worth sharing:

One is the midpoint picture of this lunation...Sun-Moon = US natal Jupiter which gives a flavor of 'joint success' and 'pursuit of wealth or possessions', and the same old Cardinal T-Square between the forceful Mars-Uranus opposition which continues to square manipulator Pluto @12Cap27 Rx (denoting high-powered executives with chips on their shoulders.) This dynamic energy has outlet in the 8th house of Shared Resources, Credit, Debt, Insurance, Corporatism, Transformation, Death, and/or the Occult.

Mars-Uranus = Pluto: violent intervention (US troops to Iraq? oil and other resources must be protected--just ask Shotgun Cheney); violence; a Higher Power. (Ebertin.)

The third chart factor is the ongoing midpoint picture we've discussed several times before...Saturn-Neptune = Pluto: 'denial of guilt from responsible parties'. And as previously noted, I'm certain that you can think of many such denials of guilt now being expressed by certain culprits about their bad decisions and shady behavior.

Now the fourth and last chart factor to mention is the Sabian Symbol for the New Moon's degree of '6 Cancer' which is, as stated, the same symbol (often mentioned on this blog) as for US natal Jupiter: "Game Birds Feathering Their Nests."

Given the low opinion that Washington politicians and others (the Fed) have inspired within this blogger over the past few years (against my will for that is just what they want--for the American people to give up on the US government!) need I type more?

Looking at a horoscope set for Washington DC of the March 30, 2014 New Moon @9Ari58 we find the lunation of new beginnings squared by the Jupiter-Pluto opposition and about to conjoin, each in turn, quirky radical Uranus @12Ari19 (a critical degree). In the District of Columbia where I twice dwelled the New Moon falls in 9th house of Foreign Lands and perfects at 2:44:40 pm edt (using SolarFire Gold v8 software).

For this New Moon the 16 North November 3, 2013 Solar Eclipse @11Sco15 remains in effect with its 'inspiration, illumination of ideas' Uranus-Neptune vibes, and in the New Moon chart for DC affects the 4th house most closely.

Rising is 13Leo44 so we immediately know that the New Moon will affect President Obama whose natal Sun in Leo is rising. There is a YOD pattern of 'special task; crisis; turning point' dimensions formed between Pluto and Chiron which point toward the New Moon's Ascendant (in DC) and thus, to the president's natal Sun. Therefore, his goals in life, hero's journey, and ego are involved with the sextile (60 degr) of Pluto and Chiron at the YOD's base, and as you know, Pluto-Chiron is the Plutocracy pair of oppression, primal violence, racism, socialism, communism, etc.

A Pluto-Chiron sextile describes those with a finger on the public pulse and those who may act as spokesman for the community (R. Nolle, Chiron the New Planet in Your Horoscope). And we know President Obama has a way with words and that he speaks on behalf of unknown entities and backers at times--well, maybe all the time. Don't they all?

So Pluto-Chiron is a supporting factor in this rather plutocratic picture since the Jupiter-Pluto combination also may be described as Plutocracy--and is, by none other than Reinhold Ebertin. Naturally the fact that transiting Pluto continues to oppose US natal Sun (the president) is being highlighted since Mr. Obama's struggles with strong forces--whether the Federal Reserve, political opponents, and/or Russian dictators--is in the news constantly so I won't bore you by providing links in this post to such political tales--you and I both have been inundated by them every day since Barack Obama took office in January 2009 by sore-loser Republicans in particular.

So with the New Moon at 9Arie58, it seems a gander at what Adriano Carelli has to say about '10Aries' may be of interest. His symbol for this degree is: "Saint George slays the dragon." Mentioned in explanation are 'courage, successful ambition, reaching the highest standing', and 'an exceptional career'. Sounds presidential enough, yes? Jan 15 and Jan 30, 2014 Full and New Moons

A second New Moon occasionally occurs in a calendar month and January 2014 has one on January 30 @4:38:30 pm EST @10AQ55. This leaves February 2014 with only one lunation, the Valentine's Day Full Moon in romantic Leo on February 14th. More about that later.

As you know, the first New Moon of 2014 was on January 1st @10Cap57--conjunct transformative Pluto (hidden wealth, the Pope, the saboteur, etc.) Next comes the Full Moon @25Can58 (conjunct US natal Mercury Rx) on January 15th at 11:52:09 pm EST. The horoscope I'm looking at is set for Washington DC with 17Lib23 rising along with transiting Mars @17Lib54, a double emphasis on this degree.

'18Lib' = "Two Men Placed Under Arrest"...CONSEQUENCE with all that the word picture implies along with warrior Mars (or, simply males between 25--35, give or take a year or two), and of course, Mars represents US military and police forces. This degree also conjoins US SP Mars Rx which describes our nation's progressed condition in any and all the realms of Mars.

Note: US SP Mars '19Lib' = "A Gang of Robbers in Hiding" and we're infested with them, aren't we? And their tiresome 'denials of responsibility from guilty parties' (tr Saturn-Neptune = Pluto).

In The Sabian Symbols in Astrology, Marc Edmund Jones gives the negative expression of '18Lib' as: "total inappropriateness of impulse and act", with impulse and act both relating to functions of the astrological Mars. No matter how we think of it, the January 15th Full Moon, the culmination/awareness phase, describes conditions that are immediately on the menu for Washington DC actors (politicians, lobbyists, and the rest) because they are on the horizon for the nation's capital.

Also rising is the Moon-Pluto midpoint which provides a sense of anger and frustration in the environment yet at Midheaven (MC, the Goal Point) is the happy, opportunity-instilled Moon-Jupiter midpoint which for some portends confidence, popularity, and good fortune in Career and Public Status realms.

The Full Moon chart also includes a pattern called a Thor's Hammer (or, Fist of God) which is aimed at nebulous, often deceptive Neptune @3Pis39 in the 5th house of Risk-Taking and Gambling. The base of the Hammer is the square between Mars and MC (also ASC and MC) which denotes that something is off-the-mark and needs focus to counter the diffusion that exists within the environment. This Hammer or Fist may not be as difficult as it could be, however, since chart Angles are involved in both instances rather than a third planet (actor.) Yet with tr Mars and ASC conjoining US SP Mars, we may expect some action concerning military and/or police forces especially with Neptune (the masses; the media) so near Fixed Star Fomalhaut (crisis at the end of the river.)

And there are also dynamic T-Square patterns formed that point to catalyst Uranus @8Ari57--Uranus denotes 'anarchists' and 'blind zealots' when in Mars-ruled Aries, according to Reinhold Ebertin. The Full Moon Uranus is posited in the 6th house of Work, Health, and Service--military, police, and otherwise.

With the Full Moon manifesting in 10th house in Washington DC--and thus with the Sun @25Cap58 near US natal Pluto Rx in 4th house--we have a focus on relationships and awareness (Full Moon) across the Home-Security axis. Perhaps the NSA's secret spying on Americans (4th h = Domestic Scene) is described here on one level with President Obama scheduled to speak at the end of the week about making changes to their draconian surveillance programs. Plus, there is an 'overturning the tables' vibe to the Full Moon chart (Jupiter-Pluto = Uranus.) Yet given this astrologer's lamentable inability to fully trust the US government, perhaps our Orwellian spies will only find a better way to snoop on us while portraying themselves as sensitive to the US Constitution and protective of our (former) right to privacy.

Now the Full Moon horoscope's Libra Ascendant makes Venus the chart-ruler, and Venus is retrograde @18Cap23 (IC = 19Cap56) in 3rd house of Communications, having just left 4th house. That the chart-ruler is Rx denotes delays of some kind, or glitches--perhaps in the implementation of the so-called new world order since '18Cap' (POLITICAL POWER) is the degree of the Uranus-Neptune conjunction/s of 1993 which form a modern natal horoscope for the NWO. This gives a fantasy element to the Full Moon and a lack of realism concerning Venusian things such as relationships, diplomacy, and evaluations. Even Real Estate may be affected by this picture for the 'Real' may not be so real after all.

As for the New Moon chart of January 30, 2014 @10AQ55, it is conjoined by the transiting midpoint of Pluto-Chiron, the oppressive Plutocracy pair and some sort of new cycle of activity begins. With the New Moon in the 7th house of Partnerships, I must unfortunately (for US workers) think of the three secretive trade pacts being forced upon our nation as I type. Annoying how Washington politicians give lip service to job creation while their behind-the-curtain wheeler-dealing leads to signing our jobs away to other nations whose workers are cheap hires. So if you're like me, you are not amused by Washington's and Obama's perfidy in this matter and wish the TPP and the other trade 'deals' could be stuffed inside their own paychecks for a change. (I'm being a nice southerner using the word 'paychecks', aren't I?)

Besides, my grump so far doesn't begin to address the new trade 'deals' and their coming ruination of nation-state sovereignty, environmental standards, and decent working conditions to which we can say buh-bye any day now. Why, even Bill NAFTA Clinton knows a lot about it because he was one of the major tools for implementing the supranational purpose of undermining America!

In the 1990s there was the draconian World Trade Organization (WTO) and its first push back from the people, what the media termed the 'Battle in Seattle'. Then it was jobs-destroying NAFTA (effective January 1, 1994) and Citizens United in 2010 (the anti-democracy 'corporations are people' ruling of SCOTUS). Now it's the secret anti-sovereign trade deal they call the Trans-Pacific Partnership--what many are calling 'NAFTA on steroids', and rightly so.

It's taking a lot of effort by these corporate pirates to totally sell out America and US workers, yet Global Government types must be highly excited this week after the past weekend's Bali Summit and the talks that immediately followed on Saturday, December 7, 2013 as Bali officials flew to Singapore to further the devilish TPP.

Meanwhile, the press helps the White House with articles and videos that imply that there's hope for US workers and US sovereignty after all, but this Capricorn frets that such expressions are only smoke and mirrors to keep the populace quiet about our nation being sold out to the Corporate Global Syndicate of bankers and other criminals. Oh look! Here's a panacea now from Huffington Post: Obama Faces Backlash Over New Corporate Powers in Secret Trade Deal. Did you read it or watch the video and feel better? How much force and push back from We The People and from other populations would it take to counter these jokers' Great Plan of global domination via backroom 'trade deals'?

And how curious that the president has been so determined to implement his Affordable Care Act yet the TPP will make lower priced prescription drugs impossible to obtain...because there won't be any. As with NAFTA, it won't be America that benefits most from this 'trade deal' which will financially unite 160 nations!

(Makes me wonder if my initial ACA misgivings are justified--that it's about controlling the people who sign up, nosing into our medical histories, further weakening our health with toxins, vaccines, etc (depopulation), guinea-pigging us which they've done for decades already, and 'owning' every person's DNA.)

Many horoscopes have been studied by yours truly concerning these topics but it would take days of typing to publish the astro-notes in my files. Therefore, I shall mention here a few notable chart factors and provide some data in case either of you wish to set up charts (if you haven't yet.)

One of the most stunning factors that jumps out at us is the current position of destructuring, secretive, stealthy wealth-hoarder, Pluto (the saboteur), of Invisible Helmet fame. Pluto now conjoins Mercury, Mars, and Sun in the NAFTA horoscope and stomps upon Singapore's natal Moon (10Cap56)--horoscope data below.) Plus, Pluto @11Cap16 will be fertilized on January 1, 2014 by a New Moon @10Cap57, representing the seeding of a new cycle of activity.

Now Pluto transits are always intensely life-changing and permanent, as you know, and Pluto to Singapore's ambitious, business-oriented natal Moon in Capricorn (which is out-of-bounds denoting the people's feelings of emotional insecurity and lack of connection to those in power who ran and run the place) shows that manipulation and control can bring devastating consequences with powerful motivations leading to great achievement; yet if reckless determination is followed there can be a loss of everything--including national sovereignty and jobs, in the case of the TPP.

Another interesting transit is from Saturn @17Sco52 (on Dec 7, 2013) to Singapore's natal Neptune @17Sco15 in the 2nd house of Earning Ability and Values. This is the 'grim face of reality' transit that can bring misinterpretation of responsibilities and below-board financial dealings although a 'dream come true' can also apply--but probably only for the Global Government movers'n'shakers who are secretly brokering this draconian deal they've have long dreamed of.

By the New Moon on January 1, 2014, a T-Square forms between the Mars-Uranus opposition which points to banking planet Jupiter @14Can04 Rx which denotes those who are planning a course of action for the future and this, of course, supports my Global Government fretting (aka, a 'new world order' or 'new world financial order'.)

In the New Moon chart of 1.1.14, Jupiter is the handle of a Bucket pattern which shows banker Jupiter to be the important actor and determinator of these issues since it is Jupiter Rx in Cancer that links the two sides of the horoscope with the rest of the Capricorn planets in the chart.

Astro-Portents of New Years Day 2014: New Moon in Capricorn

A New Year, a New Moon--sounds quite fortuitous, doesn't it?

Well, I'm looking at a New Moon horoscope set for Washington DC on New Years Day 2014 (6:14:08 am est) with 22Sag52 rising along with fixed star Ras Alhague (a Ophiuchi: 'a desire to create balance and healing' (--Brady, though Devore mentions 'perverted and depraved tastes' and 'misfortunes through women'), and powerful underworld boss Pluto @11Cap16 followed by an out-of-bounds Mercury @12Cap50 and Venus 26Cap42 Rx. It's with a full 1st house that Washington DC faces the New Moon on New Years Day, yet we may pause for prayer since warring Mars @11Lib51 conjoins MC, the Public Status/Career/Goal Point of the chart and the most visible for the world to see.

Opposite Mars near the IC (The Drain; Endings; Domestic Scene; Roots) is quirky disruptor Uranus @8Ari40 in 3rd house and feeling his anarchist oats since entering America's natal 4th house in 2010, blind zealots and Utopians represented, according to Ebertin. Is a false flag op soon to be perpetrated on US soil? Some say so.

The explosive Mars-Uranus opposition is part of a dynamic Grand Cross with the second half formed by Jupiter Rx @16Can03 (7th h) opposing the Capricorn line-up in 1st house though Jupiter's opposition is closer by degree to Mercury than to the New Moon, Pluto, or Venus. Yet the Grand Cross planets include: Mars, MC, Sun and Moon, Mercury, Uranus, and Pluto with the ongoing Uranus-Pluto Cardinal Square separating (2S35) for now, and Jupiter acting as the handle of this Bucket shaped chart.

Planets arranged into a Bucket shape denote circumstances in which energy is focused and released via the handle planet--here, Jupiter, exalted in Cancer yet weakened, or its effectiveness and benefits delayed, by its retrograde condition. This pattern indicates an uncompromising direction of effort with little or no concern for end results. It seems there is no desire to conserve resources and there are many Americans who level this charge against the pocket-lining politicians of Washington DC--those who are in breach of the public trust come to mind.

To me the New Moon in Capricorn (the Saturn-ruled sign of government, law, and business) hints that unemployment benefits may not be extended by the end of December 2013 which will give a tremendous downward tug to the US economy as well as creating more misery for Americans who have suffered losses already at the hands of an uncaring corporate government. Hopefully I am wrong about this difficult start of the New Year, but there it is.

Best case is that Jupiter as handle shows inspiration and an adaptation of allegiances to where they can create the most benefits for the American people; on the downside, Jupiter here signifies malcontents and agitators who play the Jolly One's typical roles as professor, General, explorer, guru, priest, banker, or corporate CEO.

Cardinal Grand Cross: it's complicated

The Grand Cross of squares and oppositions indicates that quick, ill-considered action may be taken since impatience abounds. Staying power to complete projects is required and the continued cooperation of others is a must (the ACA website?) Common sense helps avoid pitfalls and it will be necessary to prevent succumbing to such things as recklessness, bad timing, over-assertion, and direct confrontations with others. Though ambitious, we must exercise more self-control even while facing one obstacle after another!

Now Pluto is, I suppose, Lord of the Eclipse (0A18), while status quo Saturn @20Sco24 (11th h) disposits Sun and Moon. Jupiter Rx is ruled of the horoscope, another indicator that the money planet's Rx condition is problematic as 2014 begins. And we haven't even discussed how the January 1st planets and Capricorn New Moon are lined up opposite America's natal planets in Cancer! Or how transiting Jupiter is retrograding back to rejoin US natal Sun (the president)!

To summarize, early 2014 is a critical time of development and it looks as though war, weapons, diplomacy, possibly explosions, financial mishaps, and even earthquakes or other natural disasters are potential dishes on our nation's menu as the New Year starts so I hope both readers of Stars Over Washington stay safe, warm, and dry, and do take activated charcoal for that hang-over if you allow yourself to party too much!

As you know, New Moons begin a phase of activity and represent a seeding time which culminates or fulfills about two weeks later at the subsequent Full Moon. On January 15, 2014, a Full Moon @25Can5j8 conjoins US natal Mercury Rx with the Sun @25Cap58, near US natal Pluto Rx, thus stimulating the US Mercury-Pluto opposition of surveillance and secrets. There are no planets OOBs in the Full Moon horoscope, but Venus is Rx @18Cap23, the 'new world order' degree of POLITICAL POWER and 'smug-armed paternalism' (Jones).

1/15/14: Mars @17Lib54 rises (ASC 17Lib23) in Washington DC and spotlights US natal Mars which is Rx by progression @18Lib+ since Summer 2006 (almost a 'Progressed Mars Return') denoting our wounded vets, other militaristic concerns, potential gun violence, protesters, activists, etc. This rising Mars--prominent in the New Moon horoscope, as mentioned above--can act as a trigger for events of a Martian nature especially since a Thor's Hammer pattern is 'aimed at' delusional Neptune @3Pis39 in 5th house.

The base of the Hammer is a Mars-MC square which creates a midpoint picture giving the January 15, 2014 Full Moon 'out of the mainstream' and/or 'withdrawal as an option' vibes though lucky Jupiter @14Can04 Rx in 9th h does conjoin Sirius, the Dog Star, and is about to rejoin US natal Sun. This transit may aid the president with obstructionist Republicans concerning budgetary issues, austerity measures, nominations, and such. Jupiter to Sun shows that 'something begun 12 years ago must be ended or move up to the next level' which sounds much like the 'leave Afghanistan in 2024' substitution for leaving in 2014.

Around the time of the January 15th Full Moon, deception will be used as a strategy, as usual in Politics, and/or communications will be other than they appear (Neptune-Pluto = Mercury--Tyl) which is also very much the usual in Politics.

The Saturn-Neptune = Pluto midpoint picture remains in effect in January 2014 so the 'denial of guilt from responsible parties' continues to interfere with social progress as syndicate criminals walk free, prosper, and live to defraud us again.

Syria, Capitol Hill, and the Sept 2013 New and Full Moons

Today it is reported that the Syria Resolution Will Hit Right Mark, Predicts Obama which completely bypasses the opinions of the majority of the American people who agree that another Pentagon intervention on Middle Eastern sand is a very bad idea. Genuinely so. But expecting any good faith efforts from the bandits and charlatans who infest Capitol Hill is a waste of our time especially since this Political Theater script is being written elsewhere.

Plus, the Israel lobby in DC will direct the votes of senators and representatives alike of both parties but particularly those of the Republicans.

As we've seen in the years since January 2009, the undermining and thus the weakening of the US government has been in high gear for racial prejudices can always be used against America and we will now be encumbered by more performances of the anti-Obama kind which may discredit his legacy as president while it also demonstrates the weaknesses now showing in our republic form of government. The US is not a democracy if it ever was so we can predict with 99.9% certainty that We the People's views on military intervention will not be taken into consideration. With each new president, the agenda of the global domination/new world order plan "must be followed; very little option to do otherwise" (Tyl).

But then most regular folk don't pine for Global Government the way the Jupiter-Pluto types do, those who can mount large-scale enterprises and foment war whenever it suits their psychopathic obsession with grabbing ultimate control of the world, its people, and its resources. Waging war is a 'handy' form of de-population after all, and the property of millions of exiles may never belong to them again, ancestral lands or not. Plus, dispossession and disenfrachisement are favorite tactics of Pluto-Chiron, the Plutocracy duo of primal violence, prejudice, and exploitation.

Looking at the two Syria natal horoscopes in my files (January 1, 1944 12:00 am Damascus and the Assad coup chart of November 13, 1970 at dawn), the 1944 natal chart's Sun is now precisely conjoined by transiting Pluto @9Cap59 Rx (which forces a new start), and the 1970 chart's Pluto @29Vir01 is rising precisely at the Full Moon's perfection on September 19, 2013 (@26Pis40) when the chart is set for Washington DC. That makes two Pluto assignations with destiny of a vastly transformative nature and my heart and prayers go out once again to the good people of Syria and to those in the entire region of the Middle East.

Yet some empathy is due the American people as well since people don't start wars, only governments at the insistence of the Global Crime Syndicate (headed, some say, by the Vatican Bank) do.

New and Full Moons of September 2013 (Washington DC):

On September 5, 2013, a New Moon @13Vir04 begins a new cycle of activity and perfects at 7:36:08 am edt with, sad to say, 23Vir19 rising and 22Gem24 at MC (Aspirations; the Goal) which puts America's natal Neptune on the Ascendant (what's coming up--loss and fraud) along with President Obama's natal Mars (action; energy; motivation) which is masked by US natal Neptune making the president's motivations and actions difficult to see or understand clearly. At the New Moon's MC is America's natal Mars in duplicitous Gemini which tallies with reports that the US and others have had 'boots on the ground' in Syria for some time now (commando forces.)

So the fog (Neptune) of war (Mars) that lurks within our nation's problematic Mars-Neptune square is on the rise with its misguided actions/confused motivation implications. Well, if Congress makes a decision this week or next on Syrian intervention by the US, it will be fraught with misinformation and deception, some of which is supplied by the president, some by lobbyists and others who intend to profit by exploiting the dire situation in oil-rich Syria.

Note: all of Congress returns to session on September 9, 2013--between these two Virgo-Pisces lunations across the victim-savior axis. The populations of each nation are being victimized!

The New Moon culminates on September 19, 2013 with a Full Moon @26Pis40 perfecting at 7:12:51 am edt; the horoscope contains a brutal Thor's Hammer pattern formed by the Mercury-Jupiter square aimed at fraudulent, misleading, confusing Neptune (@3Pis20 Rx which squares Mr. Obama's natal Moon in Gemini, a time of being at the mercy of confusing situations and facing undermining obstacles when loyalties are undependable and alliances shift--recently, to France from Britain, as the script goes!)

This cosmic pattern results in a midpoint picture that denotes bamboozling or misleading people, erroneous thinking, putting too much faith in poorly explained theories (a constant charge made against Mr. Obama), successful attempts at deception or speculation, and a lack of realism. (Inside the Beltway? Puh! As always, they are not in the 'real world'.)

And of course, whenever Neptune is active in a mundane chart we tend to think of The Masses who are being bamboozled into yet another unwin-able war, and the Mass Media folk who enthusiastically promote the Global Government agenda through such bamboozling of the American public who have been habitually used by foreign bankers and other operatives to finance the military arm of their tiresome global agenda.

Leo, Leo, Leo: a Peek at the New Moon of August 6, 2013 conjunct Vesta

Looking at the August 6 New Moon horoscope set for the White House, the transiting *Jupiter-Pluto opposition is on full display with Pluto @9Cap27 Rx rising and Jupiter @9Cap12 setting across the 1/7 Partnership axis. The New Moon @14Leo34 in 8th house conjoins Vesta (on the 8th cusp) which suggests that a new cycle of activity (New Moon phase when seeds are sown) begins now with creative production high and reward or recognition expected by people successful in their work as their positions are consolidated. Any time 8th house matters are energized, such topics and concerns as Corporatism, Credit, Debt, Legacies, Insurance, Transformation, Death, and the Occult may be on the agenda.

(Yet for some, a blocking of goals in 8th house matters may still occur and frustration results. See where 14Leo34 falls in your natal and any aspects the New Moon makes to your planets and/or points, especially squares that block or limit--this New Moon interpretation is based on general mundane matters of the collective in relation to DC politics in particular and is not meant to be read as a personal analysis.)

Plus, sales, promotion (including job promotions--or, the creation of jobs), and speculation are main themes here especially with the 8th house emphasis, with women's issues, health, and sports on the menu as well. When the Moon is involved with Vesta, we hope to merit security through our hard, dedicated work--if we can get it, and health regimens may be in focus along with emotional and family issues.

Now with wealthy Pluto (Mr. Underworld, saboteur among the plutocrats) opposing money planet Jupiter exalted in Cancer and recently returned to natal degree (US Jupiter Return July 22, 2013), we'll experience continuation of stalemates over the budget and the daft, reckless idea of Republicans to again threaten a US credit default and shut down the federal government. No doubt that they will be in discussion all through their summer break which begins soon as they decide on talking points for their media echo chamber against the president.

Yet a top Republicans like John McCain are calling out this inane strategy and reminding Tea Partisans in Congress of the great potential for blow back from voters in 2014--and really, we've all had more than enough of the GOP's grandstand playacting and reckless disregard for reality of paying one's bills that are already racked up, haven't we? The GOP campaign to nullify Obamacare is pathetic--they ask Americans not to sign up for health insurance as if Republican political ideology is more important than being treated for health conditions or illness. Puh! How about a slogan: 'Support Republicans via contagion and disease' that could've been prevented. And maybe sacrifice the health or lives of your children in the process just so the GOP can continue to undermine the presidency of Barack Obama!

Well, there are many other curious factors in the New Moon chart of August 6, but no time to type all of them out. However, something must be mentioned about the Jupiter-Pluto opposition which forms a T-Square of dynamic energy with Uranus @12Ari21 Rx (a critical-crisis degree) at apex in 3rd house of Communications, Neighborhoods, Primary Schools, Travel, and the Lower Mind through its Gemini association. Thereby, a midpoint picture results with tones of fanatical striving for improvements, exploitation of every situation, new circumstances, and fast developments (Ebertin), any, none, or all of which may manifest. (You never know with quirky Uranus.)

And at 12Ari21, Uranus is in Nodal degree, a karmic or fated condition, with North Node (NN: contacts and fruitful encounters) in 10th house of Public Status and Career which also contains austere, conservative Saturn @5Sco11. Uranus separates from a helpful trine aspect with the New Moon, and old man Saturn is out of the loop. Yet with deceptive, veiling Neptune in secretive Pisces and in the 2nd house of the National Treasury, nothing is as it appears to be in the financial departments of American life.

Another chart factor is Pluto rising (ASC 5Cap22) so we know that events too big to handle may occur at or just after the New Moon of August 6, 2013, and they will culminate (or, be fulfilled) around the time of the Full Moon of August 20, 2013 @28AQ10, a degree which shows that America has just experienced another monthly Lunar Return (27AQ10) at 8:05:16 pm edt. And nebulous Neptune conjoins the Full Moon and opposes the Sun, a condition certain to bring illusion, lies, fraud, confusion, and scandals into the light of the Full Moon's rays, if not a little inspiration.
