Information found via the Wikipedia page concerning America's Robber baron class of the Gilded Age resonates from the 19th century through to our era of American Plutocracy, corporate fascists, thieving demagogues, corrupt politicians, and others who exploit the masses in order to build and protect their fortunes. Win at any cost is their tiresome refrain, no matter the collateral damage along with the degradation of society.

Meanwhile, adding a bit of Eclipse Astrology to the cosmic picture of anti-societal manipulators obssessed with power and wealth may be of interest to a dear reader such as yourself.

Eclipses Place Historical Events in Context

Themes of 2 Old North, a difficult series of unfortunate news; issues of separation or endings of unions; things look glum but outcomes can be positive if fast action is taken (B. Brady). Is it curious that this happens to be the Prenatal Eclipse Series ('PE') of John Wilkes Booth and Donald Tr*mp, two Mars-Pluto kind of guys?

So below is a list of Solar and Lunar Eclipses for the years 1891 and 1892. The Total Eclipse of influence upon Modern Humanity (as timed by Neptune-Pluto Conjunctions of 1891/92) manifested in the 2 Old North Saros Series on April 26, 1892 @7Tau05:06: that's Venus-ruled Taurus, a money sign of possession, growth, and The Bull of Wall Street. We can add intolerance toward others to the Taurean mix, which is a nice way to avoid mentioning their racism and bigotry.

Eclipses of 1891 and 1892:

Messily penned on the above list are a few notes regarding the prominent, forceful, overriding planetary duo of Mars and Pluto which form a cosmic time link between years 072 and 1892!

Of course, these are not the only cosmic influences during either of those years yet the duo points toward the escalating level of violence of our time now affecting cultures around the world, and with the two planets specifically aligning in opposition in time for US Election 2024 in November with many of America's plutocrats, corporate types, and complicit politicians joined together in league to collapse our country, destroy democracy, and undermine the US dollar so that "crypto-currency" can take over (a la Musk and Thiel in particular, former PayPal partners).

One clue of this? That the initial 2 Old North Eclipse of June 24, 072 was conjoined in July 1776 by America's Jupiter @5Can56 with its revealing Sabian Symbol for "6 Cancer": "Game Birds Feathering Their Nests." And isn't that what corrupt politicians, their greedy enablers, and anti-democracy corporatists have been up to ever since - at our expense? Besides, Jupiter-Eclipse energies combined indicate issues of immorality and unethical behavior.

Neptune-Pluto of the Criminal Underworld

Now according to Astrology, the cosmic clock of Modern Humanity is timed by Neptune Conjunct Pluto 3 times: 1. August 2, 1891 @8Gem38; 2. November 5, 1891 @8Gem19; 3. April 30, 1892 @7Gem42. As you see, a midpoint picture forms with US 1776 Uranus (8Gem55), and humanity remains under its sway of potentials for:

Impersonal attitudes about destructive or antisocial activities; unusual means to escape from or change reality; going to extremes with drugs (M. Munkasey); possibly aberrant behavior; disruption to gain recognition; adventurous ego thrust; making waves to get to shore; courage (N. Tyl); hypersensitive nerves; peculiar discoveries; the mystical or supernatural (R. Ebertin).

A Vast Rei*h-Wing Conspiracy of Global Proportions vs Democracy

Among other things, the combined energies of the Neptune-Pluto duo represent Underworld Crime and their Syndicates, often described as organized crime and/or mobsterism. My suspicion is that the 1891/92 conjunctions in early Gemini landing upon US 1776 Uranus and occurring during the Robber baron/Gilded Age time frame spotlights today's crop of Uranian Utopians: the zealots, rebels, secessionists, and anarchists of the Maga persuasion - unethical scofflaws who break laws and traditions with abandon and resent any attempts to hold them accountable. And this is the exact opposite of our framers' founding idea: that man is capable of governing himself - without the oppression of monarchy.

Yes, that's Utopianism for you - the idea that man is in no need of laws and can do as he "will." So perhaps we can agree that many so-called "Maga" folks are linked to criminality yet other associations cannot be ruled out whether involving various trafficking activities, financial and religious scams, protection rackets, bribes and favors, political chicanery and/or the occult.

So this is today's spot check on Modern Humanity. No, we don't actually need Astrology or Eclipses to tell us that things aren't all together peachy at the moment, certainly not for everyone. However, astrological principles can help put things in perspective - at least until we get our ducks in a row - and get them we shall!

Today, as the "real world" process of relocating to a different apartment is ongoing, I'm publishing a second attempt at making sense of the J6 Solar Return Horoscope of January 6, 2025.

We previously discussed the upcoming J6 Solar Return Horoscope (to the 2:15 pm est "Breach!" chart which shows US 1776 Uranus ascending) here and if the horoscopes or texts then have differences or repetitions with today's effort, it's because the following horoscope was marked with my study notes without rereading the text or chart of my previous assessment:

In the above horoscope, you'll notice zealous Uranus conjunct Ascendent and the natal Midheaven of one D. Trump, plus, you see the significant Mercury-Mars inconjunction with 8th house Mercury (the voter; the votes; the counter of details) at the head of a ruthless Locomotive shape of all the planets (notes penned on chart). Meanwhile, Mars Rx is out of bounds ("OOBs") of the Earthly plane (off on his own) - at the D.A.R. position in Sabian Symbols. Yes, it's impossible to miss or to discount the titanic "win at any cost" Mars-Pluto opposition which will be operative for Election Day 2024, too.

This forceful opposition obviously hints at the GOP's strong-armed tactics intended to intimidate voters, election officials, and election workers. No normal person who cares about America's future wants Tr*mp's draconian policies, so cheating is all he's got.

Then with the chart's ruler Venus (via Tauru$ rising) unaspected, the isolated lady planet possesses unusual perpectives of a Piscean nature (compassionate and/or secretive).

Now to close this post and get back to my moving-day tasks, the 2025 Return's Sun Cap-Moon Aries duo gives a Mars-Saturn flavor to the day, and contains an apt Image for Integration (bwo the Harveys) of, "A Roman City-State Is Attacked by Barbarians, But Its Solid Walls Keep the Maurading Bandits at Bay." Great!

Incidentals in the Return chart include Jupiter Rx conjunct Midas Rx in duplicitous Gemini, and a 9th house Sun @16Cap42 opposing the natal Nemesis of Mr. T while conjoined in transit by asteroid Hopi of ambush and intolerance fame. The Solar Eclipse of Opus Dei

During all the brou-ha-ha the last few years as the US Supreme Court bench was successfully populated with the bums of theocratic "conservative" judges through confirmations set up and manipulated by a Federalist Society's right-wing operative named Leonard Leo among others, a secret society known as Opus Dei ("God's work") came to attention within our public discourse.

The group was founded in 1928 under the auspices of the initial (very first) manifestation of a 2 New North Solar Eclipse @26Gem21:51. And perhaps you remember that former AG Bill Barr has been revealed as an Opus Dei member. Perhaps you also remember that the theme of all 2 New North Eclipses are: "The Tower - collapse and rebuild once the dust settles" (B. Brady). Apparently, the group's goal is the collapse of America so that our democratic Republic can be "rebuilt" as a fascist theocracy akin to the Catholic Church - from whence arose Opus Dei. Why, even women were allowed to join in 1930! They must have been seen to be useful after all.

Now I won't dispute the decades of degradation in society - in the US and elsewhere - with the enthusiastic participation of the Entertainment industry (sex sells), but attempting to force one's moral and ethical values on others is a senseless endeavor, unless a resort to cruelty is the point.

For as you know, values must be internal and can never be externally forced or they'll merely be superficial, and not genuine at all. Because historically we have the era of The Inquisition/s as a stark reminder of this.

Mercurial! Opus Dei's Eclipse in Gemini

Now in Mercury-ruled Gemini, solar eclipses bring issues of logic, fluency, and coherence in communications; negatively, they tend toward superficiality, caprice, and/or "talkathons" full of little if any forethought. Polling activities may also turn up under a Gemini eclipse (R. Lineman), plus, the fact vs fiction polarity of mutable Gemini-Sagittarius tends to be ruffled by a "wild card of the Universe" eclipse in Gemini.

And so the Horoscope of the Opus Dei "revelation" (October 2, 1928: thus, its founding), is shown in a dual image, below (upper right) set for "noon". Actually, Madrid, Spain may be the more accurate location but cussedly I've set both charts for Rome, where Vatican City nestles.

As noted, the Opus Dei Society was spawned under, and influenced by, the 2 New North Eclipse of June 17, 1928, as its solar and lunar energies "ran in the background of society." Below, the 1928 Eclipse Horoscope is shown lower left, and both charts display a YOD pattern of karmic opportunity, turning point, a special task, and/or crisis for those who care to use the "Finger of God" pattern which tend to work as timing agents; a generous helping of my study notes are squooshed upon the dual image of charts:

Then as you see, rigid Saturn in religious Sagittarius is prominent (see Saturn-SN notes on chart) as is Uranus in Aries (Utopianism = lawlessness); one spot that "vessel" Trump can be found in the eclipse chart is spiritual planet Neptune conjunct Apollo (the sun god: Sol Invictus?) conjunct Herr T's rising natal Mars in Leo (rising with Apollo and royal star Regulus, it seems). As noted, the theme of 2 New North are those of "The Tower" (#16 Tarot card). How curious that poet W.B. Yeats published one of his most famous collections in 1928 titled: The Tower.

Understandably, my suspicion is that the secretive group's Quest (Jupiter-Chiron) is to force their religious beliefs upon society utilizing a self-righteous assumption of alleged intellectual superiority (Saturn is Sag as Bucket handle). Plus, mention should be included here of the Eclipse Horoscope's Mercury-Pluto Conjunction with its spying tendencies and obsession with other people's secrets.

And the Sabian Symbol of the 2 New North Eclipse degree rounded up?

"27 Gemini": "A Young Gyspy Emerges from the Woods and Gazes at Far Cities." Dr. M. E. Jones gives this Symbol's keyword as, "EXPENDITURE"; and its positive expression as: "self-release in the joy of the accomplishments of the moment; negative (unconscious/shadow side- jc) expression: "complete disinclination to enter into the ordinary relationships of society."

Well, to me this sounds on the holier than thou side. How about you?

"Brut*l Efforts to Start a New Order"

Through the years of SO'W, we've discussed a variety of Jupiter-related topics yet for me, there's one in particular that rises to the top of my list of past conditions informing and leading to current events as Election 2024 nears and the stakes for our futures are pivotal.

Naturally, this concern is only one of many influences, yet cosmically it can provide a basis for, or a signpost on the way to, the anarchistic take-over energies of modern-day zealots (red cappers; militiamen; lovers of "strong men" dictators) and Utopians (promoters of lawless society and draconian authoritarianism in America).

And so the ravenous spirit now knocks at Washington's door, and cosmically may be observed in large part through the 2020 Great Conjunction of Saturn and Pluto (horoscope linked, below).

At least, in the language of astrologese, the 2012 YOD pattern provides a view of past influences affecting present circumstances for those with ears to listen and eyes to see. But not to fret, dear reader, for speaking or understanding astrologese isn't strictly necessary since astrologers translate cosmic images into English, or into whatever language a reader prefers. It's what we do.

So today, I refer to the Winter Solstice 2012 Horoscope - 12 years ago - with its crisis-laden, crossroads-reaching YOD pattern formed by the 2012 Saturn-Pluto sextile at the pattern's base pointing toward apex JupiterRx @8Gem54 in the 6th house of Health, Work, Service (Military; Civil; Social), and Daily Rounds - and with Jupiter conjunct US 1776 Uranus, planet of zealots, reactionaries, revolutionists, radical reformers, anarchists, zealots, insurrectionists, seditionists, saboteurs, "shock troops," (as Bannon called for) such as those we watched on TV as they stormed Congress on January 6, 2021. Plus, with expansive Jupiter in 6th house, we know there had to be abundant communications in 2012 concerning 6th house - and hidden 12th house - matters.

2012 Jupiter (The General) to US 1776 Uranus (Totem Planet of War)

Potentials of the 2012 Jupiter-to-Uranus transit include: expanded or altered horizons, freedom and independence concerns, unorthodox training courses, instability, unusual travel destinations, and/or heading in a different direction.

Now as you see, the Winter Solstice 2012 chart is set for Washington DC (my old stomping grounds) with apex Jupiter and US 1776 Uranus having the "9 Gemini" Sabian Symbol, "A Quiver Filled With Arrows":

Today (10/07/24), transit Jupiter clocks in @21Gem20 (conjunct US 1776 Mars: an expanded part to play in events) so the Great Benefic's Return to position in the Winter Solstice 2012 chart has already occurred: significantly it perfected on July 4, 2024, America's Independence Day! And Jupiter does prize his independence - to explore and expand, yes?

October 3, 2024: Harris Rally joined by Liz Cheney

By now you've heard of or watched yesterday's Kamala Harris rally in Ripon, Wisconsin where the democratic presidential candidate was joined onstage by Liz Cheney (R-WY) whose remarks are well worth hearing, if you haven't.

Then as many astrologers know, Ripon is the historic location of the Republican Party's founding in 1854. Yet like many Americans, I have issues with Liz Cheney and her former VP father, however, the prominent feature of their endorsement of the Harris-Walz ticket for me is their shared support for, and defense of, the US Constitution and the rule of law. Naturally, this pits Harris-Walz and their supporters against scofflaw Trump and his Maga Utopian objective of turning America into a lawless, gun-toting "Wild West" landscape where varmints and scoundrels run amok in our streets, criming as they please and getting away with it. Like the orange felon struggles to do.

Now there are multiple versions of a Republican Party Horoscope and here is one of the Ripon-based charts (center) surrounded by the April 10, 2024 Mars-Saturn Conjunction @14Pisces which landed upon the party's Neptune @14Pisces, and revealing its weakened condition as it lashes out with threats:

And yes, we all know that the arming of America has proceeded for years now - purposefully for just such a time as this. We also know that off-kilter domestic militiamen oppose the US Constitution and would prefer, I suggest, that the US fall under the paternalistic heel of The Confederate Constitution of 1861 (horoscope shown is timed by the day's New Moon @20Pis45 where deceptive gaslighting planet Neptune recently visited.) Now back then, The South was basically run as a feudalist society with antiquated ideas full of cruelty, intolerance, misogyny, hatred, and inequality. And these are the ideas and the time frame that a majority of the American people have no self-defeating desire to go back to.

As previously discussed here on Stars Over Washington, Events of 1360, a year containing multiple overthrows and shifts in governments, can be instructive in that "history rhymes" kind of way if we wish to investigate potential occurrences when an 11 South Solar Eclipse repeats next time on August 2, 2027 @9Leo55 (chart shown below) - conjunct Mr. Trump's 12th house Pluto = Mars-Saturn midpoint picture of fury, destruction, and death (R. Ebertin). For as you know, the Mars-Saturn midpoint is the "death axis" in any horoscope.

As Above, So Below Still Operational

Besides, as the Universe has it, even if the orange-hued fellow is no longer a player by August 2027, he did for a time act the role of POTUS, therefore, difficult implications are suggested for our country on both cosmic and societal levels due in part to 11 South themes of system failure, new methods and ideas are needed, and "any blocks could be violently or tragically removed" (B. Brady) - and the fact that the Total August 2027 Eclipse @9Leo55 (conjunct South Node) lands upon Mr. Trump's 12th house Pluto, planet of power, wealth, stealth, Underworld Crime, destruction, transformation, and primal viol*nce.

So here are two views of August 2, 2027's 11 South Eclipse, both charts set for Washington DC: first with astro-notes penned on, then an unmarked version just for you:

Yet bracingly, it behooves us to remember that humanity has made it through repetitions of 11 South Eclipses over the centuries ever since its initial manifestation @00Cancer, a Cardinal World Point, on June 14, 1360. Here's the 1360 Eclipse Horoscope:

Meanwhile, this eclipse thread must include the last 11 South which occurred on July 21, 2009 @29Can26 ("30 Cancer" = "A Daughter of the American Revolution" which ropes in the current "Maga" movement of insurrectionists, seditionists, and Klansmen demanding a "second American Revolution."

Meanwhile, their "Maga" take-over energies were preceded by the anti-governmental "Tea Party" movement, which turned corporate as a political reaction to the Presidency and policies of Barack Obama - "socialism," as they called his policies, and their opposition goes back to FDR's New Deal programs, as you know. To me, elite corporate types - Plutocrats, and their enabling politicians - apparently consider the tax monies We the People pay for years into the system as theirs for the plundering! Their Plutonian thieving mentality is impossible to hide.

So as you can see, the combination of rac*sm and Aryan*sm (basically the same thing) is the common denominator between these corporate-backed political movements and events - and this spotlights the gaslighting, propaganda, and hatred now being used against the American people in order to get us fighting one another, and so far it's working. Societal collapse of the US is their Utopian dream for this would vanquish democracy from the globe and open the door to worldwide authoritarianism.

Then revealingly, we might also consider that the 11 South Eclipse of 2009 is a companion event to the 2009 Jupiter-Neptune Conjunction/s of speculative, bubbly, grand scheme energies and tricky legalisms (Munkasey). This planetary pairing is found in the natal 2nd hou$e of that tiresomely orange-hued huckster of the Ary*n persuasion, plus, his Jupiter-Neptune Conjunction is cosmically anchored by wounded centaur Chiron in Libra, sign of the Scales of Justice - and this is right where the October 2, 2024 8 South Eclipse landed with its loss and separation themes.

And what real-world event should we link this Eclipse "hit" to? Why, yesterday's Unsealed J6 filing by prosecutor Jack Smith, of course!
