2021--2022 Biden Agenda Blocked by Saturnian forces

Saturn in Aquarius: Austerity, Ambitious Plans, and Selfish Politicians

On April 12, 2021 we discussed how Karmic Planets Block President Biden's Plans into 2022 and perhaps most readers recognize how this turns out to be the case now that Biden's first term is well underway and non-governing Republicans are doing their 'thing' including threatening a government shutdown (again) over the debt ceiling (and because the GOP can cause a global financial meltdown if they're a-wantin' to). Follow the link for a list of primary planetary culprits now affecting Joe Biden's natal planets. Naturally, positive transits are also in effect for the president but the negative ones seem to be holding sway at the moment.

Yet it isn't only Mitch McConnell and his Republican comrades blocking the Biden agenda (financial and otherwise), it's certain members of President Biden's own Democratic Party via what some pundits call a "party split".

Note: there's another previous SO'W post from December 2020 that relates to this topic: Horoscopes: Power Couple Biden and McConnell showing the natal charts of both men although McConnell's chart has no accurate birth hour so noon is used. Even so, you'll see Mitch's Mercury-Venus conjunction (11AQ48--5AQ39) both Rx, opposing his Pluto-Chiron conjunction - both Rx and Pluto conjunct melancholy Orpheus of this self-styled "grim reaper". Plus, as you know, the Pluto-Chiron duo is a favorite of plutocrats the world over and both men are children of their pairing of exploitation, racism, various other isms, and primal violence. A major difference is that President Biden uses these powerful energies more positively for society while others born under Pluto-Chiron influences (of approximately 80 years ago in proud, vain Leo) prefer using its darker side to satisfy their selfish interests and to gain dominance over others (exs: "owning the libs" and the 'success at any cost' attitude.) McConnell's Mercury-Venus = transit Saturn: 'thouroughness; a serious attitude' (R. Ebertin); Mercury-Venus in Politics: 'a business sector at odds with society; speeches emphasizing economic facts; debates on added costs; news about the status of wealth' (M. Munkasey).

(Plus, we might note that another Pluto-Chiron Conjunction @11Sag+ occurred around the time of the much-touted 'New Millennium' and the plutocratic pair has an opportunity to receive benefits from the 5 South Solar Eclipse of December 4, 2021 @12Sag22.)

Why So Bossy and Austere?

So! The reason I'm fussing about all this tonight is that tiresomely, transit Saturn Rx in early Aquarius has been stomping on Inauguration 2021's Jupiter (@7AQ22, 10th house) so that conditions of economic restriction, limitation, and blockage clearly are part of the ongoing bedevilment against the Biden White House and agenda as prosperity is slowed (and will be the world over if the GOP don't raise the debt ceiling so that Ameria can pay bills already incurred - including those racked up by Republicans).

Now as you know, transit Saturn turned retrograde on May 23, 2021 @13AQ31:01 and has been opposing the natal Plutos in Leo of many of us - or soon will (for myself in February 2022). This transit has already occurred for McConnell but is in progress now for Joe Biden. Transit Saturn conjunct Inauguration 2021 Jupiter only adds to Mr. Biden's and our limitations and the serious baggage such karma brings.

Saturn to Inauguration 2021 Jupiter exact 3 times in 2021: February 18, September 16 (just passed!), and finally: November 4, 2021. (Using Inauguration 2021 Biden Oath Taken at 11:47 am est.)

However, karmic Saturn turns Direct on October 10, 2021 @6AQ52:43 (conjunct US natal South Node, a Saturnian point - just to make things more karmic and separative in America! Then perhaps on one level, Saturn-SN symbolizes the GOP and the authority-craving party's separative sentiments against the federal government, its mockery of US laws (and subpoenas), and its general lack of cooperation with traditional values and ethics. Of course, South Node suggests past behavior no longer useful, and regressive Republican ideas issue from the 1850s and 1950s which is part of why they act neurotically and expect to shove America backward to settle for social and political conditions of the past.)

And looking ahead at devilish Saturn's path, the old man won't reach and surpass his Shadow Degree (13AQ31) until mid-January 2022 so limitations and some forms of restriction should lighten up by then if they haven't previously.

On the other side of the political equation, this release from his Shadow phase could inspire some Saturnian folk to add even harher austerity measures to their dystopian authoritarian agenda intended for the rest of us. Not for them, of course, but for the masses of people they choose to prey upon and exploit.

Can Dems Get a Handle on Crime? - Thom Hartmann

Here's a segment from Thom Hartmann posted September 21, 2021. Thom says that Republicans are already "licking their chops" over crime rates going way up this year after rates were down last year when everyone was safely snugged inside. And with the all-important Midterms 2022 on the calendar, Republicans won't be letting higher crime rates go (with many states having Democratic governors) considering the spiteful vow of the GOP to 'make President Biden fail':

Lunar Eclipse: Modern Humanity's Reaction to its Total Solar Eclipse in Taurus

Below is a view of the DC Horoscope showing the Lunar Eclipse of May 11, 1892 @21Sco39 which provides us with clues concerning Modern Humanity's instinctive reactions to the karmic conditions associated with our Total Prenatal Solar Eclipse of April 26, 1892 (7Tau05) which manifested four days prior to the Great Conjunction of Neptune and Pluto (7Gem41). Their conjunction times the Horoscope for Modern Humanity and suggests potentials for criminal networks (organized crime), fraud, mysticism, occultism, the supernatural, illusions, manias, obsessions, drug use, presentiments, spiritual confusion, and/or loss:

Finding clues to our emotional reactions to the solar eclipse may be accomplished bwo of multiple methods such as: an eclipse's sign/s (Taurus-Scorpio here), Sabian and other Symbols, fixed stars and the planetary and angular links to them if any, sensitive degrees, midpoint pictures, the Sun-Moon blend of energies, and asteroids along with the usual chart and planetary factors of your choice.

To get you started sleuthing, there are some basic factors:

1. Themes of the April 26, 1892 Total Solar Eclipse which fell in the 2 Old North Saros Series - and is also the Prenatal Eclipse series ('PE') of Donald Trump (note that a 2 Old North last repeated on July 12, 2018 @21Cancer, then came 'The Tower' Eclipse on August 11th @19Leo - now we're attempting to "Build Back Better" - delayed by tiresome Republican obstructionism).

2. the sign of the eclipsed Moon: Scorpio and the Taurus Sun, a 2nd/8th house polarity containing Venus-Mars-Pluto influences with firm connections to finances, corporatism, values, occult practices, and death. And as usual, all eclipses are Uranian in nature and tend to uncover hidden things and change the course of earthly affairs bwo of disruption and sudden events with Total eclipses having the strongest influence. They function as 'cosmic blinks' from above, often act as Universal wild cards, and are associated with historical cycles.

1. 2 Old North themes: 'a difficult family of eclipses that can bring unfortunate news involving friendships and/or relationships; separations and endings of unions; things look glum at first but results can be positive as people quickly grasp what has to be done; fast action can lead to good outcomes' (paraphrasing Brady's Predictive Astrology #ad). So all is not lost, dear reader!

2. *Sun Taurus-Moon Scorpio a pragmatic Earth-Water blend that can be extremely stubborn, confident, protective, and sensual. This is an independent combination of energies - very shrewd, demanding, and creative. Its obsessive convictions and magnetism make strong impressions upon people and events, yet somehow possessiveness must find a way to coordinate with an independent streak. Meanwhile, subjective, biased responses are typical and a lust for power will certainly be noticed. Plus, the usual Scorpio advice applies here: control yourself more and others less - but this is good advice which many power-craving politicians love to ignore.

As for the passionate Scorpio Moon, its fighting spirit is influenced by deep emotions, betrayal is often an issue, ambition and tenaciousness are evident, and life is often viewed as a struggle for existence. In the sign of Luna's fall, Scorpio Moon suggests an over-estimation of self (overconfidence), a tendency to hold grudges and take revenge, along with jealousy, envy, tactlessness, and brooding. (We might note that Scorpio is the sign of the 2017 Inauguration Moon.)

Many More Astro-Clues Lurk Within the Horoscope But Basically --

Modern Humanity is responding to its Prenatal Solar Eclipse themes (listed, above) through the negative traits of an emotional Scorpio Moon blended with a Taurean Sun placed in the 7th house of Partnerships and indicating a power potential best expressed through relationships. Negatively, Taurus can be stubborn, possessive, and intolerant, as you know, but can also express positively though growth, development, stability, and purposeful determination toward goals. As an Earth sign, Taurus is practical with a materialistic streak and a key phrase of, "I have." A Venusian appreciation for beauty, comfort, and security keeps Taureans busy on the path to success while understanding their inner motives is considered an unecessary waste of time! A favorite Taurean phrase may be, "if it ain't broke, don't fix it" which to me suggests Taurus' well-known lazy streak.

The Nodal Axis

Now other clues are found through the North Node of future direction and destiny (in 7th house spotlighted by the Sun) @16Tau59. Its rounded-up degree of "17Taurus" has a Sabian Symbol apt for our times: "A Symbolical Battle Between 'Swords' vs 'Torches'" which suggests, among other things, the ongoing conflict between the violent white power movement and those who prefer civilized democracy rather than neo-nazism. Necessity and desire are in conflict here which represents unequal, unbalanced societies being undermined by the difficult haves vs have-nots dynamic. And in modern Western cultures circa 2021 it's worse in America.

Then if we consult Adriano Carelli for his symbolic interpretation of the May 11, 1892 Lunar Eclipse's North Node degree (he never rounds up) we have a rather interesting word picture for "16Taurus":

"A man riding an ass." Carelli explains,

"Stubborn rather than steady, slow and often sluggish in everything; groundlessly cocksure, incapable of abstract thinking, {this degree} will not carry {its} headstrong efforts to any successful end. {} not liked by many, and will have to go through life nearly alone. Whatever amount of luck Fate has in store {}, it will run low in {the} former half. Bad luck will set in later, owing to {} foolish self-assurance. Neither exile nor forceful segregation can be ruled out. {Although} marriage may be lucky."

Well, can you find resonances within the Sun Taurus-Moon Scorpio blend? I believe so. And perhaps its details sound like someone we all know. Plus, we must note that the North Node points directly toward a significant political and cosmic event in the US: the Lunar Eclipse manifesting on the very day of America's 2022 Midterm Elections which creates a cosmic time link spanning 129 years!

Now let's close this post with the South Node's Carelli degree and symbol as the Illumination Point of unconscious revelation, something that Modern Humanity depends upon whether anyone realizes it or not - even though the idea of it seems to have been left far behind in Modern Humanity's distant and misty past while falsehood, greed, and brutality have taken over many minds as they pursue (temporary!) earthly power:

"16Scorpio": "A Knight of the Holy Grail":

{} a spirit of Christian charity and mercy served by an enlightened mind and a chivalrous and enthusiastic heart. A knight errant may not tell a lie; formidable as the foes may be, a righteous one cannot be conquered in an ordeal, a merciful one cannot but be human and kind, a Christian hero cannot but be lovable."

For as everyone knows in these 'modern' times, an honest man is hard to find.

Here's an Odd Question for the Readers of Stars Over Washington

Dear Reader: are you in the mood to check out a video showing the weird Satanic Ceremony held in Switzerland circa 2017 with devilish goat heads and other symbols of evil 'celebrating' the Gotthard Base Tunnel, now the world's longest railway tunnel which opened on June 1, 2016?

(Note that the overly sensitive reader may do better to avoid watching the video.)

Now admitttedly I possess no German or related language skills so should I assume that "gotthard" = goat head? Maybe. But it all seems that an inordinate amount of choreographed dancing, strangely expressive acrobatics, gibberish singing, and zombie-like marching were used for a 'tribute' to a tunnel through the Alps, significant and useful as the tunnel is for the countries thus linked.

Meanwhile, with the entire Earth now locked in a cosmic battle between good and evil, I must also ask: how and where did the organizers of the ceremony find so many people (mostly young folk) willing to particpate, rehearse, and perform a horrific ritual to what appears to be an honoring of satanic forces? For if the ceremony's goal wasn't meant to display worship of 'the dark one' it certainly appears that way. Plus, the complexity of the performances had to have taken hundreds if not thousands of hours to rehearse to reach the level of perfection seen in the video linked, above.

But naturally rehearsals were made easier if students of dance - and/or satanist cult members - were recruited.

A Video Note: To be fair, the video was posted on the BulletBarry YouTube channel and if you watch until the end (18M 49S) you'll find him disclaiming the intentions of the ceremony but to me there is no disclaimer or argument that can make the symbolic ceremony "okay." After all, people who represent symbols know what they're expressing or they'd use other methods and symbols to make their point. So does the ceremony suggest that the tunnel was dug by evil forces? This you must decide for yourself! And as always dear reader, disagree as you wish, but there it is. jc

Sept 18th "J6 Rally" in DC: Saturn-Uranus attends

September 17, 2021: If tomorrow's "J6 Rally" in DC doesn't fizzle out embarrassingly with low attendance, its DC Horoscope set for September 18, 2021 10:00 am edt Washington DC shows an interesting sign and degree rising: 2Sco39, interesting and perhaps predictive since another solar eclipse in the same Saros Series as the 'Nazis Rise to Power' Solar Eclipse (6 South @8Vir09) is due once again on October 25, 2022 @2Scorpio (DC Horoscope shown). 6 South themes: 'being forceful, taking power, huge efforts in a group activity' (B. Brady). Well, 'group activity' applies to both events.

So there is one prominent cosmic link during tomorrow's proposed 'J6 Rally' to Tr*mp's 'Mob Attack' of January 6, 2021 which pops out: J6 Mercury @21Lib58 to 1/6 Moon (21lib56) which suggests potentials for 'restlessness among the common folk; speeches geared to the masses; propaganda efforts; and/or 'excitement generated for popular causes' (M. Munkasey). I'll add that some anti-democracy discontents who would like to attend tomorrow's rally may stay home due to family concerns or concerns about their own safety - or perhaps simply the ones who showed up on 1/6 will stay home - or in jail. Plus, disgruntled ones who take exception to the 'no guns allowed in the city limits' law of the District may keep away. Basically, no one knows what to expect tomorrow, if anything!

But beneath it all, outer planet conditions continue to affect earthly events such as Neptune in Pisces opposing US Neptune in Virgo (social and racial persecution, differing ideals clash), and of course America is under the rays of her first-ever Pluto Return as many traditions and structures wobble, fail, or are completely transformed.

However, the most prominent planetary condition that applies to current conditions and events is created by the ongoing Saturn-Uranus square (present in both horoscopes) which times a rise of 'touchy' anti-authority types who may resort to violence especially when the square is aggravated by aspects from activist Mars, rebellious Uranus, or subversive Pluto (as it is).

So as the 'new order' vibes of Uranus come up against the 'old order' vibes of Saturn, society experiences much frustration and many obstacles embedded within the square. Meanwhile, energies stem from the last/current Saturn-Uranus Conjunction which perfected three times in 1988: February 13th @29Sag55, June 6th @28Sag47, and October 18th @27Sag47.

As you see, their first conjunction fell at '30Sag' = "The Pope Blessing the Faithful" degree (suggesting Vatican involvement with events, in 1988 if not now) which has a negative expression of: "inordinate love of self-display and surrender to a lust for power" (Jones).

We can expect the current Saturn-Uranus phase to end with their next conjunction which won't occur until June 28, 2032 @28Gem01 which opposes the cycle's current degrees in Sagittarius and this will continue to highlight the Gemini-Sagittarius polarity with its 'Mercury-Jupiter' flavors and suggesting that societies across the globe must deal with karmic issues such as the use of logic and reasoning to reach truth vs falsehoods and deception to hide truth, plus, ethics and morals vs degenerative, degraded principles and standards. My suspicion is that most people realize which side the current crop of authoritarian dystopians are on and they reject it (as in the California recall!)

Now I don't know about you, dear reader, but personally yours truly considers this to be part of the Good vs Evil conflict the embattled world now struggles under. And it's a cosmic battle for which we all must choose sides.

'Rainbow Bridge' Chiron says, Be Here Now!

As you know, astronomer Charles T. Kowal (November 8, 1940--November 28, 2011) discovered Chiron @3Tau08 Rx on November 1, 1977 (10:00 am PST Mount Palomar Observatory) although the celestial body was later found on photographic plates as far back as 1895 with Chiron traveling through the sign of Libra the entire year. You also know that in Astrology, Chiron is associated with archetypes such as 'the wounded healer', 'the wound', 'the key', the 'blind spot', 'the catalyst', 'the hologram', 'the bridge' (between earthly Saturn and 'sky god' Uranus), and the Christ archetype which on a personal level is the most evocative of all (imho!).

And of course one facet for those who have faith in the Second Coming is that Christ is the key that opens the door to Eternal Life for all who prefer Life over death. Perhaps it's being born under a Jupiter-Saturn trine in practical Earth signs that gives me no problem with this at all for Jupiter represents the generous side of our Creator (the staff) while Saturn (the rod) signifies the disciplinary side. Happily no conflict here! Plus, way back in 1977 I greatly appreciated the healing boost for the Collective via Chiron's link to alternative medicine.

According to Dane Rudhyar

Now mention must be made of the rounded-up Sabian Symbol of Chiron's discovery degree of "4 Taurus" for its enlightenment: "The Pot of Gold at the End of the Rainbow" with the rainbow symbolizing the Covenant of God with Noah (to never destroy the entire Earth by water again). In An Astrological Mandala (#ad), Dane Rudhyar adds, "In all mythologies it expresses, in one way or another, a linking process--or the bridge used by divine beings to communicate with mortals." He continues that the rainbow is, "the source of symbolic, universally valid wealth"; Keyword: "COMMUNION."

However, a caution: we must not assume that the Return/s of Chiron to discovery degree 3 times in the years 2027 and 2028 are heralds of the Second Coming of Christ for no man knows the hour of that long-awaited cosmic return. And that 'no one' includes TV evangelicals, false prophets, enders.

Yet a promise was given to humanity and "Faith in the validity of a promise" is required for karmic progress even in this highly skeptical world! Meanwhile, Rudhyar states that, "COMMUNION" involves "a transubstantiation of matter" and counsels us that, "Man need not be overawed by the celestial display of power, for it leads to a fruitful contact with beings of light." (Well, I can't quite agree with this since being overawed, even overwhelmed, by such a celestial happening seems a certainty to me. But please note that I am not a UFO-er.)

So after looking at all three Chiron Return horoscopes, it turns out that Pluto squares Chiron in each chart: June 8, 2027, October 7, 2027, and April 6, 2028. A bit of general information concerning this Fixed square follows for the Collective but please don't take it explicitly in reference to your own life unless the square from early Taurus to early Aquarius links to your natal or progressed planets, falls upon angles of your chart, and/or you know in which houses (departments of life) the early degrees of Taurus and Aquarius land, especially if the houses are angular (1st, 4th, 7th, 10th).

Of Pain, Wounds, and Regeneration

A Chiron-Pluto square contains extremely intense energies and indicates power and control issues, and/or an obsession over pain avoidance or relief. Yet with primal Pluto the planet of regeneration and transformation, the square forces us to face our deepest wounds and if appropriate, to atone for and correct any part we played in creating them. To clear our minds, hearts, and consciences of any wounds that we have purposefully or inadvertently caused others will be helpful along with ending denials of guilt. Escapism through the heavy use of drugs, some elicit, is tempting but is a negative possibility of the square as well as other forms of addiction, plus, a fascination with the occult or other types of Plutonian control will not lead anyone onto a positive path. Fortunately, the third return on April 6, 2028 contains a calming Moon-Chiron trine which will supply a sense of harmony and will promote a balance between "the emotions and the higher self in consciousness" (Clow).

Here on SO'W in April 2021 we discussed the third 'Great American Eclipse' which perfects on April 8, 2024 @19Ari24 precisely conjunct Chiron @19Ari24 (the wounded healer). Washington DC as an Astro-Signifier for America

On April 8, 2024 in Washington DC, 16Leo27 rises (2:20:38 pm EDT) so the eclipsing Sun (vitality; leadership) is ruler and its Midheaven ('MC': The Goal Point)) = @7Tau59 is ruled by Venus, also in Aries and conjunct asteroid Hygeia suggesting women's health. The North Node points toward Aesculapia, another health indicator, plus, via the Mars-Saturn midpoint (13Pis45) in 8th house, we find the GOP's 1854 Neptune, a picture which denotes epidemics or poisons. Sabian Symbols for these degrees are worth a look if you can and I will add the eclipse's Symbol ('20Aries'), below. Plus, for your convenience, I'll republish the April 8, 2024 eclipse horoscope again, as you see; its 8 North themes are listed on the chart and include 'visions, vivid dreams, insights, good ideas, inventiveness, and/or flashes of genius' (B. And if you follow the link, you'll note my expressed concern over the New Madrid faultline and a possible repeat event - plus, The Scottish Astrologer in his video notes concern over San Andreas fault possibilities. This eclipse over America enters bwo Texas and leaves the continental US from the state of Maine and effectively 'splits' our country South to North and may trigger or activate volatile seismic or volcanic energies which, if so, we will wish could remain untriggered. Yellowstone National Park? Don't go there in 2024, just in case.

Meanwhile, in US Politics, the cosmic synchronicity of yet another Total visible-across-the-US Great American Eclipse (#3 of 3) occurring during the year of a highly risky (and perhaps our final) presidential election on November 5, 2024 is significant to US society on the usual eclipse level of 'changes of direction, disruptive events, and/or the uncovering of inconvenient facts or secrets' which may result in scandals.

This in addition to the rare planetary alignment of Jupiter-Saturn-Uranus-Pluto as noted in the video below suggests an earth-shifting amount of social changes and difficulties along with political conflicts which will be further spotlighted by the Great Conjunction of Jupiter and Uranus on April 20, 2024.

However, positive vibes of their conjunction will hopefully apply such as optimism, scientific breakthroughs, original ideas, 'labor-saving' inventions, and for some, a release from tension and strain with the Jupiter-Uranus duo aka, the "Thank God" pair!

Yet in the US in particular, we should be aware of, and prepared for, any negative potentials such as our legal system continuing to 'stifle justice for the common people' and/or the possibility that strikes, wars, or revolution could break out due to intolerable pressures that build up. Where There's Life There's Hope

Yet several positive indications within 8 North themes (penned at the top of the chart) could 'save the day' or at the very least create a mixed bag of welcomed solutions, good ideas, and helpful insights into problems or disruptions that appear or are uncovered by the 'wild card of the Universe' influences of the April 2024 Solar Eclipse. As are all eclipses, this is a 'cosmic blink' from Above and, as usual, how we react to whatever may come will determine results and outcomes, whether positive or negative.

April 8, 2024 Solar Eclipse's Sabian Symbol: "20 Aries" = "A Young Girl Feeding Birds in Winter": "Keyword: HOSPITALITY; positive expression: naive genius in the administration of both the powers of nature and the potentialities of selfhood; negative expression" (or, unconscious/shadow side--jc): an overzealous and wasteful use of the self's resources in an effort to win approval by bread alone" (Jones).

Among other things, this symbol sounds to me as if disruptions of food supply chains may continue to be possible, 'hospitality' adds questions and concerns over refugees, immigrants, and caring for them perhaps made more difficult in cold weather (volcanic winter?), 'young girl' is an obvious reference to our children, and mention of 'birds' tends to denote spiritual forces that the wise among us may depend upon.

And finally, I would feel remiss if I didn't mention that the infiltration and gaslighting of our country by zealous anarchists and saboteurs continues to act as an albatross around America's neck.

Gaseous Neptune in Pisces fuels the Big Lie Party

Thursday September 9, 2021: So a year ago on Stars Over Washington, what used to be known as the Republican Party (b. 1854) was being re-named with various labels such as the Conspiracy Party and of course they've certainly earned the moniker.

But now in 2021, thanks to Donald Tr*mp's malicious ploys and antics in a desperate bid to regain power, a new au courant re-naming has occurred for they are now known as the Big Lie Party and the group's 1854 Neptune in mid-Pisces must be simply inflating and preening with pride. Why party members are positively bubbling with corruption, fraud, fantasy, pretense, and eagerness to kiss Herr Tr*mp's ring way down in Mar-a-Lago by oceanic Neptune's shores!

For as TV's Moira Rose might put it, GOP-ers seem to bombillate with anticipation!

And then, of course you know which fixed star twinkles mid-Pisces: Achernar, with key phrases that include: success in public office (for those with good morals) but also the risk of rapid endings and crisis at the end of the river. And the descriptive Sabian Symbol for "14 Pisces" (and the Big Lie Party's traditional promoters): "A Lady in FOX Fur" (my BOLD); negative expression: amoral opportunism (Jones). Oh dear! Sounds like a lack of good morals.

Now personally I wouldn't miss their rapid ending at all if such is the fate of the "Republican Party" since they, as an American political entity, don't actually govern the US but instead have opted for a well-paid Neptunian-Plutonian sabotage agenda for our country.
