Two Horoscopes: Christopher Ruddy w Newsmax TV

December 16, 2020: With the holidays fast approaching and my typing time growing briefer each day, here's a quick posting of a bi-wheel of horoscopes. Inner is a speculatively timed (by Moon to 00Cap00:00 because a personality blend of Sun AQ-Moon Cap seems to me to suit Mr. Ruddy better than an AQ-Sag combo of energies but check out both blends if you're curious) natal chart for NewsmaxTV founder and CEO, Christopher Ruddy, journalist and author of a book about the 'strange death' of Vince Foster, along with a 6:00 am est horoscope for the launching of NewsmaxTV (NYC; exact hour of first broadcast unknown). Besides operating from Manhattan, the network also maintains headquarters in West Palm Beach, Florida, and Sugar Land, Texas.

For as you know, during these closing days of the Trump 'administration' multiple suggestions of a Trump foray into broadcasting have been floated, plus, the White House denizen apparently favors NewsmaxTV over Fox TV for his political entertainment and soapbox. Perhaps you noticed that in July 2020, Trump encouraged viewers to "dump Fox News" after Fox reported poll numbers that infuriated him. Tsk. He also suggested the pro-Trump OANN (One America News Network) as an alternate option.

Chris Ruddy's potential Sun AQ-Moon Cap's 'Images for Integration': "A revolutionary is elected president...An alien civilization comes to Earth to rescue man from imminent destruction." (Sun Sign-Moon Sign, Charles and Suzi Harvey #ad). Note that this is the natal Sun-Moon blend of freakish author Ayn Rand, inventor Thomas Edison, and President Abraham Lincoln.

Now most of my study notes are penned on the chart/s, as you see, but let's close with the themes of the Solar Eclipses that Ruddy and NewsmaxTV were 'born' or hatched into. Ruddy's is the 2 South Saros Series @11Sag55: "joining unusual groups and receiving a great deal from it" (last 2 South occurred @15Capricorn on January 5, 2019 as the 116th's 'New Congress Eclipse').

NewsmaxTV's 'Prenatal' Solar Eclipse @8Tau51 ('PE") fell into the 16 South Saros Series with themes of "issues of wasted energy or misdirected motivation especially in groups; no real action should be taken" (paraphrasing Brady's Predictive Astrology #ad).

Significantly, the Halloween 2020 Full Moon @8Tau38 conjunct transit Uranus, planet of disruption and chaos, intensely activated or spotlighted the themes of the NewsmaxTV Solar Eclipse (conjunct by degree). However, radical zealot Uranus the anarchist is quite capable of disruption and upheaval even without the laser focus of a Full Moon acting much like a revealing Lunar Eclipse.

Halloween 2019 Mercury Rx is King of the Fairies

On October 31, 2019 at 11:41:19 am edt, speedy Mercury, planet of messages, negotiations, diplomacy, commerce, trade, lies, and tweets performs a Direct Station @27Sco38:16 in preparation for a retrograde ('Rx') phase until November 20, 2019 @11Sco35:11 ('12Sco' = "An Embassy Ball"). Transit Mercury stations on Halloween 2019 in the natal 4th house of Donald Trump (IC 24Sco18) along with transit Venus @28Sco30.

Rounding up Mercury's Halloween 2019 degree we have '28 Scorpio": "The King of the Fairies Approaching His Domain"; "Keyword: ALLEGIANCE--positive expression: a special competence of inward vision and a consequent outward perspective of high effectiveness; negative expression: capricious self-indulgence" (Jones). Is Trump "the king of the fairies"? Well, he seems to believe he's a king, as we know, and since bullies are always cowards at heart, some might say that his nibs is fairy-like.

And naturally, Mercury's 2019 path through Mars/Pluto-ruled Scorpio relates to current events and scandals in the news which include whistle blowers, memes, phone calls, transcripts, letters, meetings of various kinds, and testimonies--for Trump, in relation to the 4/10 security axis (Career and Home), and later, in relation to his natal 3/9 axis of lower and higher mind, plus, with dozens of legal battles thrown in and ongoing (9th house). And significantly, this Mercury station activates the very degree of the May 18, 2019 Scorpio Full Moon when May 18th Mercury conjoined the natal Midheaven ('MC') of Donald Trump so that enraged star Algol was also activated! Curiously, transit Mercury was also @25Taurus conjunct Trump's natal MC the day Don Jr, Kushner, and the rest of the conspirators met with the Kremlin lawyer in Trump Tower (June 9, 2016, if memory serves).

Now as you know, transit Mercury entered brooding, intense, big-business-oriented Scorpio during the first week of October 2019 and won't leave the Halloween-esque sign to enter Jupiter-ruled Sagittarius (a happier place) until approximately December 10, 2019. This means that Mercury and his/her magic wand will hit '30 Scorpio' on or about December 9th which is the "A Halloween Jester" degree containing a "contempt for established values" vibe (Jones). And of course we think of the new film Joker and expect that its popularity will remain in force since many people attend theatrical movies during the holidays. And isn't it timely how Trump's recent shout-out to China about investigating the Bidens was soon 'walked back' by Trump and his defenders as being only "a joke"? Even so, I suspect that the Chinese government was in on the joke, don't you?

Eclipse Note: in the October 31, 2019 chart of Mercury Rx, transit North Node @10Can19 in 7th house (Washington DC) points toward the 3 North Solar Eclipse of July 2, 2019 (10Can37) with 3N themes of 'worry, obsession, news that transforms a situation and/or involves young people', and with a caution 'not to get carried away with large plans' (Brady). Signs Cancer and Capricorn are intercepted in the Mercury Rx chart suggesting karmic conditions that need addressing, and of course eclipses are 'wild cards' of a disruptive Uranian nature which tend to contain a fated undertone as well. Late Sagittarius rises in the October 31st chart yet Capricorn holds the aligning Saturn (@15Cap24 conjunct the 2 South January 5, 2019 Solar Eclipse of 'joining unusual groups and gaining a great deal' of the 116th Congress), and Pluto at a critical degree (20Cap)--both rising with the separative South Node denoting difficult conditions for this Mercury Rx period. After all, Saturn, Pluto, and the Nodal axis are karmic as well (reaping what's been sown) so we can expect long-forming conditions to culminate soon in one way or another and with a sense of energy draining from situations and events (SN).

However, a bright spot appears in the Mercury Rx chart for there simpers the happy feelings pair of Moon conjunct Jupiter @23Sag+ rising in hidden 12th house near the natal Moon-SN conjunction (20--22Sag) of Donald Trump so his avoidance of facing his true condition and difficult predicament may continue awhile longer. But the three-fer exact conjunctions of transit Jupiter to his natal Moon conclude the first week of November, and significantly, the degree of Moon-Jupiter on Halloween 2019 pre-sages the upcoming 4 South Solar Eclipse @23Sag on December 4, 2020 with its difficult themes of 'blocked emotions, frustration over money and/or relationships, and potentially a sudden desire to end unions or alliances' (paraphrasing Brady's Predictive Astrology).

And so for now, let's wind down this fussy post with a quote from Reinhold Ebertin describing general potentials for Mercury in Scorpio:

"Sharp criticism, fanaticism, endurance and perseverance in the pursuit of difficult problems and in the solution of arduous tasks, practical ability. Sarcasm, skepticism, cunning and craft. Lively disputes, arguments, fights." (The Combination of Stellar Influences, R.E.).

Well, that's Halloween 2019 Mercury for us with its Scorpionic potentials which sound to me a lot like a day spent in or around the general vicinity of the fantasy world of Donald Trump.

DC Horoscope: Trump Solar Return 2019

This is a brief consideration of the 2019 Solar Return Horoscope of Donald Trump which spotlights for one year the SR house of his natal Sun (22Gem55) of Communications and the Lower Mind; Mercury-ruled Gemini is on the 3rd cusp giving opportunities for expression while Sun-ruled Leo on the 6th house cusp suggests active 6th house matters such as military, police, and civil service issues along with health and daily rounds. 6th cusp 27Leo32 holds Trump's natal Mars @26Leo in tow (energy, motivation, physicality) and may rope in his natal Ascendant (29Leo; physical body; Self) as well along with his royal Regulus rising.

Meanwhile, chart-ruler Mars @18Can42 in 4th house (touchy Mars in emotional Cancer) makes three applying Ptolemaic aspects in the chart which are listed, lower left. Note that the Ascendant degree ('11 Aries')'s Sabian Symbol is: "The President of the Country" ('Keyword: IDEALIZATION...negative expression: an often well-meaning but usually destructive assertiveness or vain pretense' -Jones), plus, Mars also rules the corporate 8th house of Big Business, Credit, Debt, Insurance, and more. Its cuspal symbol ('19 Scorpio') is, "A Parrot Listening and Then Talking"...Keyword: CONVENTIONALITY...negative expression: idle mimicry and self-gratifying pretense' - Jones). So our nation will receive a double dose of pretense on our calendars as if it weren't already penciled in on the Oval Office schedule. And as you know, there are several parrots in the Trump administration who echo whatever Trump orders them to say if they want to keep their positions (as long as he keeps his!)

The applying aspects of Mars: 1. trine Neptune (in 12th house of Politics, Large Institutions, Karma) work is carried on behind the scenes possibly to the benefit of charitable institutions, marine concerns, the pharmaceutical industry and its consumers, the energy industry, ship building, and ocean cruise companies. 2. opposite Saturn (in 10th house of Career, Public Status) resentment of and resistance to authority, attempts to circumvent rules, regulations and laws, plus, delays, cancellations, anger, frustration, and physically difficult tasks. 3. opposite Pluto (also in 10th house) suggesting hostile forces aligning, contests of will, antagonizing formidable opponents, failed manipulations, gaining the lower hand, and lack of control. Best advice for Trump's SR 2019 Mars is to leave the status quo alone!

Here's an excerpt from my previous notes on Saturn conjunct SN:

Extreme limitations; rigid habits out of harmony with the prevailing culture’s methods and ideas; isolation and seclusion; cooperation is the lesson; painstaking attention to detail as all external influences may be disregarded–esp in obscure fields; individualism achieves in a class by itself. (Sakoian and Acker, Astrologer’s Handbook.)

Then there's Trump's chaos-creating guiding planet, Uranus, rising in 1st house which denotes sudden, unexpected events coming soon which no one, not even the Uranian Trump, can manage well. That transit Uranus is now in Venus-ruled Taurus, sign of growth, possessions, and intolerance, indicates a period when unusual sources of income are sought, risking all in one throw of the dice, and there can be a disruption of the money supply--for Trump and/or for the nation. Earth changes and Environmentalism are also suggested by Uranus in earthy Taurus.

Other chart factors include a Scorpio Moon (changes, breakdowns) and the current Solar Eclipse of January 5, 2019 (until about two weeks before the Solar Eclipse of July 2, 2019 @10Can37) at Midheaven (The Goal Point), as you see, with its theme of 'joining an unusual group and gaining a great deal' (Brady) which imprinted upon the 116th Congress and which is here opposed by transit Mercury @15Can36 (the natal Ascendant degree of the Pentagon and of US progressed Jupiter Rx since 1905); Mercury opposing law-maker Saturn indicates opposing opinions and conflicts continuing and suggests the involvement of the US Congress. Also this opposition may relate to Trump's recent threat to shut down the government and hold US citizens hostage--again--because the
Democrats won't stop investigating him.

And as you see, SR Mars @18Cancer, the warrior planet is on course to conjunct Trump's emotionally deprived Saturn in Cancer, a transit of obstacles, frustration, delays, anger, and the imposition of unwelcome authority upon his nibs. This conjunction perfects only once on March 21, 2020 in the 4th house of the SR 2019 chart posted here.

Then as you see, SR 2019 Pluto opposes Trump's natal Saturn (23Cancer) showing that his attempts to enforce his authority will continue meeting with resistance by a higher power (Pluto). Of course, transit Saturn opposing natal Saturn is, for anyone, a time of regret for past actions (which Trump says he never does which is a large part of his inability to learn from his mistakes--which he 'never makes') and making progress needs reflection and analysis of what didn't work before so that adjustments can be made toward better outcomes. This is the 'life lessons' transit intended to inform so that a more realistic direction can be determined and which so far, leaves the flawed Mr. Trump AWOL from class.

And so the Siege of Trump continues as harsh cosmic agents of compression and karma Saturn and Pluto near their conjunction @22Cap46 (January 12, 2020) which happens to land directly upon Trump's natal Vertex of fated encounters. Plus, we may wish to note that '23 Capricorn' is a degree of governmental authority according to Nicholas DeVore (Encyclopedia of Astrology).

Summer Solstice 2019's Planetary Patterns

The Planetary Patterns of Summer 2019 with Jupiter Leading the Throng

In a previous post we considered the DC Horoscopes of Spring Equinox 2019 and Summer Solstice 2019 with both charts set for the White House and both having the same signs and degrees on their angles (14 Virgo rising, 12 Gemini at MC) which spotlights astrological Mercury--retrograde in Pisces and hangin' with deceptive Neptune in Spring but speeding through Cancer during the month of June.

As I type, we're in April and poised within the Spring season as we look ahead toward Summer so let's take another peek at the Summer Solstice 2019 chart with its Mutable Grand Cross, dynamic T-Squares, a focussed YOD, a Mystic Rectangle, and a Locomotive shape of planets chugging along behind Jupiter Rx.

Plus, Summer 2019 as a topic must include the karmic July 2, 2019 Solar Eclipse in Cancer and the July 2019 Lunar Eclipse (DC Horoscopes shown). So that's two disruptive Uranian 'wild cards' or 'cosmic blinks' in July, plus, America's 243rd birthday!

And mention should be made that in this chart Uranus @5Tau34 in the 8th house of Corporatism, Transformation, Debt/Credit, Insurance, Shared Resources, and the Occult is unaspected. Yes, Trump is a Jupiterian (natal Jupiter Stationary, materialistic and large) and a Martian (Mars rising with royal Regulus in royal Leo) but he's also very much a radical Uranian with his 10th house Uranus in Gemini behaving as his 'guiding planet' of chaos and disruption. When unaspected, the independent nature of planet Uranus is intensified along with its tendency to be unaffected by outside influences. Sparks of intuition may occur but won't inform the rest of the planets so that rigid, self-defeating, unconscious patterns of behavior are enforced rather than improved upon. And as you know, Uranus in money-oriented Taurus denotes a period when unusual sources of income are sought and speculation risks all in one roll of the dice. But with quirky Uranus in staid Taurus, premature action often leads to failure (Ebertin) making prudence and caution necessary.

Prominent Planetary Patterns of Summer 2019

First, Jupiter Rx is the engine leading a Locomotive shape in the chart and this denotes high-powered executive/s ruthlessly determined upon success (Trump?). Yet with Jupiter retrograde, his plans may be delayed, interrupted, or somehow debilitated. Perhaps things will more easily progress once Jupiter resumes direct motion and trundles on his way forward after August 11, 2019. Note that astrological Jupiter may play many roles: politician, banker, corporatist, religious figure, judge, lawyer, military general, a wealthy person, a civil servant, an explorer/adventurer, and/or a fortune hunter.

A Mutable Grand Cross (Venus, Jupiter, Neptune, ASC) spotlights conditions of extreme restlessness and nervousness yet if the energies are well-handled can instead denote alertness and mental vigor. However, plans under its sway tend to be implemented inconsistently, indirectly, and by using impractical methods. Concentration is often lacking or is vacillating and indecisive. Needless to say, conditions are frustrating and, similar to the sign of Gemini, mental focus and actions tend to be spread too thinly in multiple directions to be as successful as they could be. Of course, the Grand Cross's oppositions describe a need to integrate logic and reasoning ability into circumstances and relationships in order to mitigate at least some of the instability and unreliability suggested here.

Add to this the muddled thinking and dreaminess when it comes to facing harsh realities embedded within a Jupiter-Neptune square, plus, a Venus-Neptune square's difficulty discerning the difference between reality and fantasy--with both squares and the people they represent affected by watery Neptune in its own sign of secretive Pisces--Neptune, planet of deception, lies, fraud, confusion, the media, the masses, and propaganda so it seems that we have a continuation of the Trumpish atmosphere of fantasy and deceit we've been mired in since Summer 2015.

Now naturally, any Grand Cross contains a few T-Squares, and the primary of which here is Venus-Jupiter = Neptune (conjunct the Descendant axis) so that foreign capital investments and/or foreign raids on the treasury are potentials. As a midpoint picture, possibilities include expansion, inflation, weakened limitations (such as laws?), and illusion and confusion delaying real progress. Also note that value-loving Venus is in duplicitous Gemini at the top of the chart for the entire world to see. Therefore, currency issues may also be indicated and be a goal (MC) and a topic of public discourse (Gemini). But Venus can also vengeful (especially when scorned) so retaliation may be on our Summer calendar as it always is for Donald Trump.

Then opposite Venus is banking planet Jupiter at IC and retrograde until August 11, 2019 (stations @14Sag30) so finances are in process of being reviewed, lessened, delayed, and/or retracted. Jupiter in 4th house suggests the involvement of Real Estate and/or Mining. Also in 4th house is Summer Solstice 2019's Prenatal Solar Eclipse ('PE') of January 5, 2019 @15Capricorn which imprinted upon the 116th Congress with its theme of 'joining new groups and gaining a great deal' ( Brady). Having two money planets opposing one another sounds a lot like a financial stand-off of some kind, doesn't it?

The YOD pointing toward the North Node (and Focused YOD pointing toward Saturn) show that a turning point or crossroad has been reached, a special task must completed, and/or a crisis awaits which must be dealt with. Plus, a combination of Saturn and South Node (of the Moon) is extremely limiting (cooperation needed!) and suggests some form of separation. However, at the base of the YOD the Moon-Jupiter sextile (60 degrees) suggests a ray of hope (A. Oken) yet we cannot ignore the fact that the Moon (the public) is apex of the socially concerned Saturn-Neptune midpoint which can indicate people with low character, pessimism, depression, and/or activities that serve no real purpose. And as a midpoint picture, Moon-Jupiter = Saturn also suggests limiting conditions; luck in brief spurts; lasting emotional misconceptions; negligence; inner conflicts; social disadvantages; and/or liver or gall bladder disease (Ebertin). Moon-Jupiter with NN merely hints at associations and new contacts that are 'on our path'.

As for the Mystic Rectangle (a pattern which always sounds rather groovy to me!) between Saturn, Neptune, NN, and ASC, its 'practical mysticism' vibe and karmic implications (Saturn, Nodal axis, and even slow-moving Neptune) can usually denote those who use mystical and/or astrological principles to guide their plans and actions so with Washington DC and our Founding Fathers well known for their mystical and astrological tendencies and interests via secret societies (ex: Freemasonry), I'll leave it for you to decide what and who in our present day may be hiding behind the scenes and manipulating outcomes during Summer 2019--or if the mystical pattern even applies to our circumstances at all!

DC Horoscopes: February 2019 New and Full Moons

Left: New Moon @15AQ45 February 4, 2019 White House Washington DC; Hour of Mars @23Ari31 in the very visible 10th house and approaching 'wild card' planet Uranus. This explosive planetary pair blend their energies during 'dangerous times' and there is US natal Saturn (legalities, justice system, Robert Mueller) conjunct the New Moon IC, the Basis of the Matter. This New Moon phase culminates with the Full Moon of February 19, 2019 @00Vir42 conjunct royal Regulus ('success if revenge is avoided') and the natal Ascendant (and Mars) of Donald J. Trump.

Now as you see, transit Saturn (highlighted in blue, 6th house) @15Cap22 conjoins the Prenatal Solar Eclipse ('PE') prior to this New Moon, an eclipse which perfected on the evening of January 5, 2019 and will forever be imprinted upon the opening of the 116th Congress with its theme of 'joining a new or unusual group and gaining a great deal' (paraphrasing Brady's Predictive Astrology). Our newly elected House representatives of the Democratic persuasion certainly did that!

Below right is the February 19, 2019 Full Moon conjunct Regulus horoscope which shows asteroid Nemesis rising ('the unbeatable foe' or, 'divine retribution') in Gemini along with gold-hoarding Midas. The Full Moon falls across the Virgo-Pisces victim-savior axis and squares fixed star Alcyone ('something to cry about'). Follow the link for my original post which was composed prior to the brutal Trump Shutdown which began at midnight on December 22, 2018 so I'm thinking the cosmic picture here refers to the suffering of the American people and Trump's sabotage of the US economy using as an excuse his vanity project 'the wall' that he and Republicans could have funded and built during the two years they had control of House and Senate. The timing of the Trump Shutdown leveled extreme stress upon federal workers coming just before Christmas, and I believe that Trump was encouraged to time it to prevent much of the 116th Congress/Nancy Pelosi as Speaker of the House publicity from taking over the airwaves. Plus, Trump wanted a 'showdown' with Speaker Pelosi and to present her with a crisis to deal with instead of the progressive agenda (he hoped)--why else wait for her swearing in as Speaker? Of course, Sean Hannity of Fox News and the other Murdoch shills advised him of this necessity and as you know, power-grabber Trump hates it when someone or an event takes away what he considers 'his' spotlight. Alcyone's tears of affected federal workers and others with no paychecks with which to feed their children are of no consideration for we know what Trump has already done to children.

Yet predictably, if Big T can figure out how to end his Shutdown without too much humiliation, he'll attempt to claim the 'savior' side of the Virgo-Pisces axis! That's unless 25% of the US government inactive is the permanent condition the GOP has longed for all these years. If so, 25% may be just the start with full collapse their ultimate goal (and Putin's).

And often it takes a crisis to lead ultimately to improvement!

Of interest financially is Speaker of the House Nancy Pelosi's natal Jupiter @18Aries opposing Trump's natal Jupiter @18Libra in rising and setting positions in the chart (denoting their wall-funding stand-off most likely along with the Trump Shutdown, and then $ome), plus, the fact that a 3 North Solar Eclipse @18Taurus preceded the 1929 'Black Tuesday' Crash, with acquisitive Taurus, sign of money, growth, and possessions, snorting like the 'Bull of Wall Street' and an apt symbol of Wall Street greed and gold-worshiping.

December 13, 2018: For the congress-curious reader Ballotpedia provides 2019 congressional information such as members' salaries, Committee details, and more.

Last I heard, the 116th Congress of the United States is scheduled to open on January 3, 2019, probably at 12:00 noon ET, Capitol Building, Washington DC. Of course, swearings-in of new members will be a first order of business--and the Moon in Sagittarius denotes outsiders, or someone different in the House! And amazingly, these new members have lowered the average age of Congress by a decade and many of them are ladies (Moon).

A Little Astrology: January 3, 2019 noon est Capitol Hill

If this date and hour are accurate, some interesting midpoint pictures appear at that particular moment, some that involve the Midheaven ('MC'), Point of Aspirations, Goals, and Public Status as it passes over the Capitol Building. This chart works symbolically even if the opening hour changes so let's consider a few chart factors for this date which has quite often been the opening date of Congress--I know, because it's my birth date and as a child it seemed that Congress opened every year as 'a gift' for little Capricorn me. Silly, of course, but no one told me differently so I persisted with the illusion! For it seemed a small and private honor then but that was before Congress members broke the public trust they had had with the American people back then and began neglecting their constitutional duties. Now we see the hot mess that has brought to America.

Yet hope must forever spring! So let us consider some prominent chart factors and their potential expressions for January 3, 2019 at the semi-speculative hour of 12:00 pm ET Capitol Building Washington DC with a few basic chart details penned messily upon the chart, plus, some natal placements of Speaker of the House Nancy Pelosi (in blue) and Donald Trump (in lavender pink):

Rising is 18Aries14, appropriate for a new undertaking, plus, 19Aries is the Exaltation of the Sun degree (but also the Fall of Saturn degree--Devore). This places the natal Jupiter of Speaker Pelosi on the Ascendant--opposing the natal Jupiter of Donald Trump on Descendant. Financial quarrels rising! yet Jupiter also relates to Politics, ideals, and plans for expansion. And note that Venus in Scorpio leads a BOWL shape of all the planets which suggests to me that Venus represents Nancy Pelosi whose natal Mars is opposed by this Venus (see chart notes in blue, bottom left). It's a 'battle of the sexes' continued for you know what Speaker Pelosi said about Trump's manhood after their dust-up in the Oval Office over funding for his border wall and his threat of a possible "Trump Shutdown"!

Now Aries rising makes testy Mars the chart-ruler and therefore the ruler of the 116th Congress. Meanwhile, activist Mars @1Ari45, just past the Aries Point ('AP') of Fame and Recognition, has risen and is in the 12th house of Politics and Large Institutions such as the US Congress; can Back Room deals be far behind? No doubt some have already been proposed and accepted. Or perhaps 12th house Mars, a leader and trailblazer, (with guru Chiron @28Pis11--a mentor?) will act as a Secret Enemy of the behind-the-scenes 12th house variety. After all, The Leader, the Sun @13Cap01 is in 10th house near the MC (10Cap07) but surrounded by enemies--or are they henchmen? For restrictive Saturn @11Cap41 and powerful manipulator Pluto @20Cap41 (at critical degree) form a trio with the Capricorn Sun (also at critical degree) and we might wish to consider the trio's potentials within a midpoint picture--fading but still somewhat in effect due to the weightiness of karmic Saturn and karmic Pluto along with the solar importance of the day. Plus, the Sun's position in Capricorn marks the annual opposition to US natal Sun @13Cancer when plans and goals of the nation should be reassessed and altered if necessary in order to reach goals.

Saturn-Pluto = Sun: sparing no pains in one's work; renunciation; privation; physical toil and over-exertion; physical separation. A closer midpoint picture exists at noon as well--Sun-MC = Saturn: the necessity to make grave or difficult decisions; reserve; a negative outlook (economic, I suspect, along with Everything Trump, plus, big donor/corporate interests interference). But another thing about the 2019 Sun: it conjoins asteroid Icarus who in hubris flew too close to the Sun in an escape attempt so that his wings melted. As you know, Icarus refused to listen to his papa (Saturn)! Yet does this Capricorn Sun surrounded by legal-eagle planet Saturn (Mr. Mueller?) and hidden-power Pluto (foreign and/or wealthy manipulators--saboteurs or assassins) actually represent on another level Donald Trump who is also an Icarus figure? Will he escape indictment and/or impeachment? (See today's CNN news about Trump's Friends Flipping on Him.)

Or does the Icarus archetype signify congress members whose wings are singed by standing too close to Trump (Republicans) or who will somehow stand in Big T's way as the congressional session continues (Democrats)? Perhaps all of the above? Not knowing as I type if the Mueller Report will have been released by January 3, 2019 and possibly sent to the House--or partially revealed to the public--these questions are impossible to answer with any certainty, at least by yours truly. Plus, Trump's tax returns by federal law can be demanded by the chair of the Ways and Means Committee without approval by the Senate, as House Democrats have promised - yet Astrology can't tell us everything.

By comparison, the 115th Congress horoscope for January 3, 2018 12:00 pm est showed evaluating Venus @11Cap56 in place of 2019 Saturn with Sun 13Cap16 (opposing US natal Sun in Cancer, did we say?) and primal Pluto @18Cap52 which activated the 1993 'New World Order' Uranus-Neptune conjunction/s with their 'the big picture must be followed, very little option to do otherwise' (Tyl) and Sabian Symbol for 18Cap: POLITICAL POWER (Jones) which implies foreign control or interference (ex: the City of London). It will interesting if tragic as 2019 proceeds to see what the idealism and plans of the progressive new members morph into as the riot act is read them by party bosses Pelosi and Schumer. If past methods hold, new members will be instructed that they will vote how they're told to vote but hopefully such strong-arming will lessen for the good of the American people who voted for a more progressive agenda than party hats have provided so far, their cotton-filled ears notwithstanding. Yet Ms. Pelosi has reportedly agreed to step down in 2022 so we'll see if the backlash against her speakership has abated for now in this generational clash.

Now with Mars as chart-ruler 'his' applying Ptolemaic aspects give clues as to how things will proceed. However, this Mars makes no applying aspects in the chart which emphasizes the warrior planet's sign and house position--Aries, his own sign, and 12th house of Politics and Karma so it looks like it's going to be an active, possibly pioneering, and secretive two years, folks, for among the new members of the 116th Congress there must be at least a few Aries-inspired ladies among them!

February 2019 Full Moon Conjunct Royal Regulus!

February 19, 2019: POTUS and a Full Moon with Lots of Stars

If the Trump administration remains in the White House until February 2019 as I suppose it will, the Full Moon horoscope of February 19, 2019 seems significant to me for multiple reasons: royal star Regulus @00Vir05 ('the king' or 'the kingmaker') will be reflected and revealed by the light of the Full Moon along with the natal Ascendant (29Leo) of Donald Trump. Note that prominent New and Full Moons sometimes act in Uranian fashion as if they are 'wild card' eclipses, and fixed stars express or are activated via eclipses (Ovason).

Alcyone rises at the moment the Full Moon perfects (10:53:29 am est) at the location of the White House, with the star's key phrase, "something to cry about." Plus, Trump's natal MC (25Taurus) with furious Algol upon it (and Nancy Pelsoi's natal Mars!) has just risen and languishes in the 12th house of Politics and Karma. The Sun-Moon midpoint (00Sag42) sets upon the Descendant along with asteroid Kassandra, key phrase: "a prophetess telling the truth but no one believes her" which may suggest someone's testimony in the Mueller investigation or to Congress. As you know, Lying vs Truth is such a problem for Mr. Trump and his associates with so many activities to cover up. (Confession: I still wonder if there's a love child behind Trump's curtain!)

Also of interest in the Full Moon chart is the Mercury-Neptune conjunction in mid-Pisces, sign of secrecy, for it conjoins fixed star Achernar, key phrases: crisis at the end of the river and risk of rapid endings. This conjunction is particularly notable since Trump's natal Mercury-Neptune square has always given him much to lie and leak about and has provided our nation with a fantasy-prone, indiscreet, unreliable, unable-to-learn, emotionally immature man playing the role of US president. As you see, this conjunction falls in the 11th house of Groups and Associations. And legal eagle planet Saturn @16Cap53 (conjunct steady, strong Rukbat = Mr. Mueller?) has just conjoined the January 2019 Solar Eclipse @15Cap25 (which conjoins the 9th cusp of this chart) in the 2 South Saros Series--theme: 'joining a new group and gaining a great deal by it' (Brady). In a previous post I related this eclipse theme to the new members of the 116th Congress which seems appropriate, agreed? Perhaps Mr. Trump will soon join a new group!

Now notice in the center of the chart I've penned an 'Image for Integration' for the practical Water-Earth Sun Pisces-Moon Virgo combination: "Small events bring enormous consequences" (Sun Sign-Moon Sign, by Charles and Suzi Harvey). Another 'Image' for this combo: "Faith and reason shake hands." (btw, this is the natal personality blend of Senator Ted Kennedy.)

Well, there are several other chart factors worth noting here and many of my study notes are penned upon the chart if you don't mind enlarging the image to read them. See if you agree that the February 19, 2019 Full Moon may represent a significant signpost on the Path of Donald Trump with Full Moons the phase of culmination, fulfillment, awareness, and relationships (or perhaps the ending of them) - perfecting as the Full Moon does upon Trump's natal Ascendant, replete with several activated stars--plus, a Thor's Hammer pattern with its midpoint picture notated on the right side of chart:

Of course, perhaps I fret over nothing for a Full Moon conjunct Trump's natal Ascendant could simply indicate a larger, more revealing publicity event than unusual. But really now, how is that even possible?

2018 Midterms Over: Horoscopes of Trump vs Pelosi

Due to yesterday's 2018 Midterm Elections in which the Democrats won control of the House of Representatives, in early January 2019 Nancy Pelosi (RR: X for time unknown) will become Speak of the House, the first woman in US history to do so. Meanwhile, Oval Office occupant Donald Trump is said to be quite happy with this arrangement and, as an old friend of Nancy Pelosi (and of Chuck Schumer), called her last evening with congratulations. I shall leave it up to you to decide whether or not their tenuous association will mitigate Trump's usual vicious insults, fibs, and jabs, plus, with the new 116th Congress in 2019, Trump will have a wider field of lady politicians to take aim at while he's fighting off subpoenas, very inconvenient questions, and investigations led by Democratic Committee chairs.

Now since Nancy Pelosi's natal chart is untimed, noon is used to set up a bi-wheel of Donald Trump's timed natal chart (inner) with Pelosi's planets surrounding; her Prenatal Solar Eclipse ('PE') in the 14 North Saros Series is included with its themes penned on, lower left, and as you see, 14 North is the series of The Sequestration Eclipse of November 2011 (era of the 'Super Congress' which was 'a peculiar turn of events' concerning 'unexpected financial happenings'--Brady):

Following are a few major planetary links between Nancy Pelosi and Donald Trump in more or less order of prominence, plus a few mentions of current transits to Pelosi's natal planets:

Pelosi natal Mars @25Taurus conjunct Trump natal MC with raging Algol conjoining both (no smooth sailing between them there especially when his career is affected!); her Venus @20Taurus attends his MC as well suggesting the use of diplomatic negotiations and hinting at the involvement of financial and relationship issues, possibly with a nod to allies or foreign involvements and/or travel (9th house);

Pelosi Jupiter @17Aries closely opposes Trump's natal Jupiter @17Libra (more conflicts--over ideals, politics, and finances--also note that her PE @18Libra36 'eclipses' his natal Jupiter in Libra which tends to harangue, "it's not fair!"; perhaps her 'fury level' is as formidable as his); this opposition will probably result in both of them being quite unimpressed with one another.

November 7, 2018 transits to Pelosi planets include: disruptive Uranus conjunct her natal Saturn @00Tau44 suggesting changes and altered circumstances in the realms of Saturnian authority and leadership, plus, new methods for handling responsibilities. Obviously, her upcoming Speaker of the House position is involved and it didn't hurt during the Midterm Elections that the Syzygy Moon (last lunation) prior to November 6, 2018 was the October 24th Full Moon @1Tau13 which reflected upon Nancy Pelosi's natal Saturn, planet of authority, and was sparked by the aforementioned transit of electric Uranus to her natal Saturn in Taurus!

Another stand-out transit is the Jupiterian North Node of public contact and future direction pointing toward Pelosi's natal Pluto @00Leo40 Rx which is the "tiger by the tail" combo and shows a period for her when power and control are on the upswing and meetings ('NN') with 'the powerful' (Pluto) occur.
