DC Horoscope: Biden-Harris Confirmed by Congress

January 10, 2021: It's taken a few days to publish here the DC Horoscope of the Biden-Harris Confirmation for office as declared by VP Pence. Some news sources give 3:32 am ET January 7, 2021 as the moment the 270-vote threshold was reached thanks to the state of Vermont.

Below is a Horoscope set for 3:41 am ET January 7, 2021 Capitol Building, Washington DC as the time VP Pence read and certified the votes and declared Joe Biden and Kamala Harris as President and Vice President of the USA. Today my blogging time is brief so please enlarge the image if you wish to read my study notes. For as you see, a dynamic T-Square is in effect including testy Mars and radical Uranus opposing a critical-degreed Moon (29Lib52; anger and aggression). A few potentials of the T-Square are listed, on the chart along with the three applying aspects, lower left, (how things will proceed) of chart-ruler Mars. As you know, #3 culminates on Inauguration Day 2021 with the explosive Mars-Uranus Conjunction @6Tau44.

DC Horoscope: The Burning of Washington DC 1814

January 8, 2021: Is History Doing Its Rhyming Thing Again?

After the storming of the US Capitol Building and Congress on January 6, 2021, it seems that some historical elements are repeating. This time the attack was instigated by the man currently in the role of POTUS and his MAGA shock troops carried out his plan, as Trump supporters participated and 'simply walked right in' to the Capitol Building, some looting offices and getting their proudly seditious mugs on video. At least one Confederate flag was recorded being proudly carried into the building while some officers of the Capitol Police force acted complicitly. Perhaps others cooperated as well.

Now as you know, the US Capitol Building has been assaulted and damaged before when British troops Burned Washington DC in 1814 during the War of 1812 in retaliation for similar American actions in Canada. Besides the Capitol Building, the to-burn list of Major General Robert Ross and his arsonists included the White House (then the 'Presidential Mansion'), the Navy Yard where warships were under construction, plus, other government and military buildings. The British had defeated our American soldiers at the Battle of Bladensburg earlier that day (at Bladensburg, MD 8.6 miles northeast of DC) and felt assured of continued success especially after their resounding defeat of Napoleon that year. For a variety of reasons, the City was ill-prepared for the breach as British troops 'simply marched right in' and burned our nation's capital. However, the damage to the City was repaired, the burning's existential effects didn't last, the US government continued meeting (in the spared Patent Building), and a Peace Treaty between America and Britain was declared four months later on December 18, 1814.

So for a Theme through History how about: Britain's "economic royalists" send troops in 1814 to attack Washington DC including the US Capitol Building, monarchist Trump and his "economic royalists" donors and corporatists attack America in 2021, and in between: the 1933 Fascist Plot Against America instigated by wealthy corporatists of the J.P. Morgan kind, the "economic royalists" of their day, and intended to destroy the New Deal programs and Presidency of Franklin D. Roosevelt, a compaign that continues to this day.

The January 2021 New Moon and Trump's culpability

January 7, 2021: After yesterday's breach of the US Capitol Building instigated by Trump, multiple political pundits and others are now calling for remedies in order to remove a dangerous Trump from the White House such as Impeachment (this would prevent his ever running for office again), the 25th Amendment (due to his unfitness for office which has been the case all along), and possibly the Republican Party telling him to resign (not that he'd listen; but he could be pardoned by Pence, then abscond to a hidey hole). And with about 13 days to go until the Biden Inauguration, untold dangers lurk for America and for the American people, especially those Trump identifies as his enemies (by which he means 'mortal enemies'). The midpoint between yesterday's insurrection (1/6/21) and January 20, 2020 spotlights January 13th and the New Moon which manifests on that date (12:00:04 am est) and identifies a seeding time for a new cycle of activity as New Moons tend to do.

Now previously on SO'W we discussed a few factors concerning the Capricorn New Moon of January 13, 2021 conjunct powerful manipulator and hidden hand, the very wealthy Pluto. And as you know, prominent New Moons can disrupt lives and events in similar ways as a Solar Eclipse can do - for both share similar effects to the separative, awakening, erratic, unpredictable, shocking energies of astrological Uranus. Plus, eclipses are often known as 'cosmic blinks' and 'wild cards of the Universe' and they may uncover inconvenient secrets for those whose planets it touches.

Meanwhile, a New Moon also indicates that 3 days prior - the Dark of the Moon phase - is a period when things can go bump in the night and shady activities may run wild, undetected. And you know that the next Full Moon (January 28th @9Leo06) may shine a bright light on Dark of the Moon events, conditions, and thus create scandals.

Pertinent to the authority of Trump is the fact that the Capricorn New Moon @23Cap13 opposes his natal Saturn in the watery, tribalistic sign of Cancer and this describes Trump's "they did it, don't blame me" attitude concerning yesterday's seditious events which he himself incited. Yes, this is his general attitude yet only by taking responsibility for his actions and doing what he can to correct them will bring him karmic progress (and thus bring it to America - he won't do this but We The People and others must).

DC Horoscopes: Trump Mob Breaches Capitol Building

January 6, 2021: Today violence occurred in Washington DC. A woman shot earlier during the breach has died, WaPo reports, and others are injured. The stirred up Trump Mob of malcontents stormed and breached the US Capitol Building this afternoon while Congress had begun certifying the Electoral College votes for Joe Biden. Few astro-notes will be added tonight (it's after 6:00 pm est and I'm pretty wumped out at the moment) other than what I've marked on the bi-wheel charts you see below.

The chaos occurred after sore loser Trump spoke earlier at a 'rally' in the Federal City, exhibiting his usual 'low and mean way of acting' in the midst of his malicious scheme to stay in power. Meanwhile, the combustible Mars-Uranus duo draws nearer to conjunction each day and will peak @6Tau44 on Inauguration Day 2021. DC police officers and the National Guard were somewhat slow to begin defending the Capitol Building today and one must wonder why. Well, some members of the political punditry class have suggested that a desperate Trump wants - called for - such upheaval so that he can declare martial law.

A Fascist Plot in America Has Failed Before

January 5, 2020: Most likely you're familiar with the Fascist plot in 1933 to induce General Smedley Butler to lead a potentially massive force of American Legion members against President Franklin D. Roosevelt in order to take over the White House and US government, thus putting a stop to FDR's New Deal plans. (As you know, certain corporatists, ideologues, and their political operatives have worked against our social safety net programs ever since with some success. After all, it irks them that such programs often benefit black people!)

So below is a horoscope of the 'visit' and sales pitch from the authoritarian conspirators to General Butler at his house on July 1, 1933 around 1:00 pm. Naturally, the culprits were fronting for big operators - the big bankers and other corporatists who were the leaders of the seditious plan in 1933, the ones who thought the straightforward Butler could be persuaded to their authoritarian cause. (At MC, The Goal Point, is starry Alhena: to have a mission; also asteroid Circe: to seek rescue). Note that Cupido @9Pis18 (Corporatism; The Syndicate; The Family) is in the risk-taking 5th house conjunct Pallas Rx (strategy) with the 7 North Solar Eclipse degree nearby. This fascist plot is well known for congressional hearings were held afterwards and General Butler testified against the men and their plot. And note that printed on the horoscope you'll see "J.P. Morgan firm behind it" (Mullins).

You'll also see expansive propagandist Jupiter unaspected in Virgo; some of its potentials are listed on the chart. In 5th house moving into 4th, Saturn @Rx @15AQ23 leads a Locomotive shape of planets (a high-powered, ruthless executive determined on success) with an interesting rounded-up Sabian Symbol: "16AQ" = "A Big Businessman at His Desk."

Now with Libra rising, 10th house Venus is chart-ruler but makes no major applying aspect to any planet (US natal Saturn, exalted in Libra, rises). Although Venus applies to no planet (going nowhere! but see lower left for the applying Venus-Chiron sextile, plus, note that Venus opposes US natal Pluto in Capricorn, suggesting underhanded manipulation, obsession, possessivene$$, and cut-throat competition), the Venus-Pluto conjunction (5S43) in patriotic, nationalistic, tribal Cancer is revealing for together the pair tend toward 'elements of organized crime' and their combined energies relate to 'the breakdown of the fabric of society' (Munkasey) which is what such fascist plotters are finally managing to accomplish now under figurehead Trump. Do I think their take-over plot is this wide and far-reaching? Of course.

And an upcoming period of time to be especially wary of is around and beyond the April 20, 2023 Solar Eclipse @30Aries in the 7 North Saros Series for it will be a repetition of the Fascism Rising Solar Eclipse of 1933 (horoscope shown) with its theme of a 'deep, long-hidden passion' and 'lust' coming to the surface (Brady).

Based on the tendency of history to rhyme, 7 North's theme, plus, current events, I believe that this very passion, hidden away for decades, is what now motivates corporatists and ideologues in their ongoing attempts to throttle democracy right out of America, leaving a hollow shell of a country for authoritarian freaks to fill.

January 6, 2021 US Congress: Strong Emotions Surface

January 3, 2021: Besides facing the combustible Mars-Uranus Conjunction @6Tau44 on Inauguration Day 2021 and the ongoing sabotage of America by fascist forces and their figurehead Trump, we first must successfully navigate through potential riots, protests, and the seditious behavior threatened in the US Congress on January 6, 2021 by certain congressional Republicans determined to disrupt America's tradition of a peaceful transfer of power, undermine the Biden administration, and, they hope, prevent Trump from tweeting against them and ruining their next election chances. However, on that date the Electoral College Vote is to be certified by the Congress doing its duty.

Of course, this purposefully stirred up 'hail Mary' political drama by Trump and comrades is meant to take over the US government entirely and morph it into a fascist enterprise. And it's all being piled atop our ongoing fight against the SARS-Covid pandemic now decimating the American people and straining our hospital system to its core, plus, our dire economic and cyber conditions. Yes, Trump and his ilk are attacking the country while America is weakened by disease and loss. And a misguided 1/3 of the population likes it!

Now naturally these weighty 2020-into-2021 issues and events are described ably by multiple cosmic factors, some of which have been discussed here on Stars Over Washington and available for those who care to search (sidebar Search field, or just Google). But if I had to name one cosmic factor which basically accounts for many of the stirred up feelings - 'the strong emotions over money and relatonships', it has to be the background influences of the 4 South Solar Eclipse in which we now simmer (that is, until the next Solar Eclipse comes along in June 2021).

Occurring on December 14, 2020 @23Sag08 (the day the Electoral College voted against Trump - see what I mean?), the 4 South Eclipse contains difficult themes that are now expressing in society and what could be one of the peaks of such difficulties manifests in the US Congress, Capitol Hill, January 6, 2021.

And yet there is one promising potential in particular from the 4 South Eclipse @23Sag08 - it 'eclipsed' the 8th house Saturn in authoritarian Trump's Inauguration 2017 Horoscope!

Besides karmic Saturn's rulership of authority, accountability, control, and separation, for me this describes another of the 4 South influences: a 'sudden desire to end a relationship'. For if We The People ever wanted to end a relationship asap, it has to be the one between the Oval Office and saboteur Trump whose presidential term ends at noon on January 20, 2021 as Joe Biden takes the Oath of Office.

Jupiter-Saturn, Altair the Eagle, and a Mission

Is the American capstone about to be crane-lifted into place with our nation ruling the roost - or, going belly up? America as we've known her now passes quickly since the SARS-Covid pandemic swept so much of our lives and lifestyles away. Actually, the January 2020 Great Conjunction of Saturn and Pluto made certain of that. Then as you know, the recent Great Conjunction of Jupiter (expansion) and Saturn (restriction) times the beginning of new social, political, economic, and religious orders in the futuristic sign of Aquarius. At 00AQ29, new forms and inventions in Technology, Science, and Space are obviously involved, plus, the conjunction hit US Inaugural Sun, as we've discussed in previous posts, so I won't bore with it now. (For previous posts on such topics, type 'Jupiter-Saturn' in the SO'W sidebar Search field and a list of related posts should pop up.)

Meanwhile, the 'new world order' emblem of 1776 decorates America's currency and the Great Seal, so the conjunction's degree rounded up to "1AQ' = "An Old Adobe Mission," (DURABILITY; Jones) so it's also the Sabian Symbol for US Inaugural Sun (POTUS; Oath of Office) on January 20th - and conjuncts the position of the bold fixed star Altair, the eagle:

As for political considerations, perhaps a few factors in relation to the Jupiter-Saturn duo in the realms of Politics and Business would be of interest bwo the Hegelian Dialectic (create the problem then 'solve' it the way you intended to all along):

'Thesis: The serious side of justice and the law; processes concerning checks and balances; changes in the governmental, religious, or social orders; repression based on morality instituted by law or religion; an expansion within the rocks in the ground.

Antithesis: Too many restrictions on the operation of justice; a judicial system at its breaking point; pessimism about the ability of the police to control lawbreakers; leniency and harshness vie for balance within the overall social and economic systems.'

You'll note the inclusion of a geology reference with Saturn ruling stones and rocks, techtonic plates, soil, and the Earth herself, and astrological Jupiter's expansion function increasing whatever he touches with his 'slippery slope' self.

Still, as I always remind myself, the yin-yang tension between Jupiter and Saturn make them the 'flywheel of the Universe' which keeps all the planets orbiting in their courses!

January 1, 2021: Senate Back in Session at Noon ET with Mars Rising: Happy New Year!

Unless something interferes overnight, on Friday January 1, 2021 at Noon ET, Senate debate over raising the relief amount from $600 to $2,000 continues with an Ascendant of 15Ari52 (ASC = the debate and other business during the session, if any). Obviously, contentious Mars @27Ari39 rises in first house followed by unpredictable Uranus Rx @6Tau47, the rebel planet's degree on Inauguration Day 2021 for the combustible Mars-Uranus conjunction (6:44).

So since my suspicion about the debate outcome is that we'll reap unhappy results via the Sabian Symbol for tomorrow's Mars degree at noon, here's my relic of an illustration for "28 Aries": "A Large Disappointed Audience":

When Pluto conjuncts Inauguration 2021 Midheaven

Transit Pluto "Takes Charge" of Inauguration 2021's Midheaven 26Cap16

With Reinold Ebertin's famous assessment of Pluto in Capricorn as, "the dictator," and with the Midheaven ('MC') angle of a horoscope denoting The Goal or Objective, we may wish to consider a few factors about the five conjunctions of transit Pluto to the MC of the Inauguration 2021 Horoscope. Of course, other potentials for Pluto in Saturn-ruled Capricorn are of interest as well: 'an untiring struggle for power and independence; the successful realization of new ideas, plans, and inventions; the acceptance of a dangerous position' (The Combination of Stellar Influences, R. Ebertin #ad).

Plus, astrological Pluto can play other roles as well such as transformative agent, regenerative energy, manipulator from afar, Underworld boss, politician, propagandist, suggestive orator, actor, psychologist, surgeon, wealth hoarder (the dragon guarding the riches), spy, thief, rapist, invisible force or power, Providence, the Pope - the list goes on.

And as you see below in the first Pluto-to-MC horoscope, lower left, set for March 11, 2021, Pluto @26Cap16 is unaspected, its energies isolated and hidden, and indicating someone overshadowed by shadows (B. Tierney). And that from the hidden 12th house of the Unconscious, Karma, and Secret Enemies. And while a weakened America is in the midst of a major downturn, this transit describes something transformative about the US presidency itself and our dire need for the administration to rebuild America's health, reputation, and fortunes, to whatever extent it can be done over the next few years. Biden promises rebuilding, Trump does not.

Meanwhhile, we should note that by the fifth of the Pluto-to-MC Conjunctions on November 3, 2022 (upper right), a Mars-Pluto inconjunction suggests that too much has had to be taken on resulting in an increase of financial stress, and a depletion of energy - adjustments are required and hopefully, the depletion won't relate negatively to nuclear energy concerns. Of course, the US military may be indicated with Mars-Pluto as well.

(Here I'm using powerful Pluto "taking charge" of the presidency to indicate a Biden-Harris administration with more of a status quo/CFR flavor rather than four more years of a Trump-as-Underworld-figurehead/racist-fascist fiasco. More will be known once the Biden-Trump stalemate is finally certified by Congress but even so there are radical, rebellious elements in society who consider themselves to have received a 'go-ahead' signal for upheaval and overthrow which can be seen in part by one societal factor listed, lower left, the Saturn-Uranus square with its 'lack of common sense', challenges to authority, and tendency toward violence. The planetary duo's old-vs-new square is part of the 45-year cycle of Saturn and Uranus which began with 3 conjunctions in 1988 @27-30Sag and won't end with a new conjunction @28Gem01 until year 2032.)
