There are two "tranches" of unfunding of the US government which can lead to yet another Republican government shutdown. Refusing to fund what our government needs in order to pay bills that are already wracked up, March 1, 2024 is the first "tranch" and March 8th is the second. Meanwhile, you see below a DC Horoscope of the February 24, 2024 Full Moon @5Vir23 which is the Syzygy Moon (last lunation prior to the March 1st "tranch" and potential shutdown) with its Sabian Symbol keyword (6Virgo): DIVERSION (M.E.Jones).

As you see, the big-developer-speculator-banker pair of Jupiter and Pluto meet upon the Ascendant of the Full Moon chart which spotlights those who seek power (including both politicians and religious figures). Now in previous posts, I have related the Jupiter-Pluto duo to the Federal Reserve System of Big Bankers, for understandable reasons, but that little factoid is beyond the scope of this Full Moon post:

Well, perhaps you remember that America was put through a Debt Crisis by Republicans back in May 2023 with a semblance of a 'YOD' pattern of 'crisis' and 'turning point' shown in the horoscope.

And I've always felt that this "shutdown" form of political theater, begun by Newt Gingrich against Bill Clinton, is actually the Republican Party acting out under orders from both foreign and domestic enemies of democracy. But their shutdown antics do more than disrupt their political opponents - they're getting the American people accustomed to a collapsed US government by pretending that democratic government just doesn't work anymore and can't handle the massive problems of today (problems caused by the GOP). It's the Hegelian Dialectic: cause the problem, decry it, then "solve" the problem the way you intended to all along.

What's even more tragic beyond belief is that the current crop of gaslit Republican voters are going along with 'the script' as if they and their families will somehow profit by such sabotage! Emotionalism reigns over facts, while logic is discouraged, and this is what all that "woke" nonsense was about.

So I'll end this fussy post by pointing out that a cosmic time link exists between 2024 and 2020 so that 2020 events and conditions must be revisited and will hopefully be dealt with once and for all by folks who appreciate the benefits of living in a democratic Republic with the freedom to reach for better conditions and progress rather than falling back into a twisted and brutal past.

The final lunation of 2023 is the Cancer Full Moon of December 26, 2023 @4Can58:11 with both Moon and Mars out-of-bounds of the Earthly plane. If you're familiar with the planets on July 4, 1776, you know that this lunation falls within America's Cancer trio of planets: Venus, Jupiter, and Sun (3--14 Cancer). Therefore, with money planets Venus and Jupiter in the spotlight, a culmination of some kind in relation to financial matters may be involved. Perhaps a diplomatic help will be generous Jupiter, not as strong as it could be due to retrogradation, yet in money sign Taurus, is acting as a Thales Planet for the Sun-Moon oposition, aka, a saving grace.

Then thankfully, Jupiter turns Direct on December 30, 2023 @5Tau34:51 at 9:40:15 pm EST, and will pick up steam as the Great Benefic moseys on through January 2024, reaching 7Tau10 at month's end. Notably, transit Jupiter enters Mercury-ruled Gemini the last week of May 2024, a cosmic signal for change.

Now the December 2023 Full Moon times the culmination phase issuing from the New Moon of December 12, 2023 @20Sag40; in between comes the Quarter Moon of December 19, 2023 @27Pisces conjunct the gaslighting planet of fraud and deception, Neptune, influential in its own sign of Pisces. Also notable is that Venu$ @26Sco34 in 4th house (Real Estate; Domestic Scene; Mining) leads all the Full Moon planets as the engine of a Locomotive shape, determined on success.

In general, Cancer Full Moons tend to activate emotional extremes and overblown reactions, patriotism, nationalism, tribalism, and may also highlight criminal activities. Jupiter's Zodiacal Path 2023 Into 2024

As you know, the GOP and their comrades, both foreign and domestic, are working hard to crash the US economy and may shut down the government once again because they hope that President Biden will be blamed in time for Election 2024, and that Republican candidates, such as they are, will be victorious in November 2024 - despite all common sense to the contrary.

Well, since the GOP's authoritarian agenda is harmful and brutal, how else can they 'stand for election'? It isn't as if Republicans can be open and honest with voters about their anti-societal, anti-constitutional, anti-democratic, misogynistic "policies," now can they? Plus, most folks realize that Nazism was tried and found wanting decades ago, so which society in its right mind would want to make such a hideous mistake again?

Since our good news planet Jupiter is known as The Great Benefic perhaps his example, influence, and protective function can help steer us toward Election year 2024!

Therefore, let's consider The Path of Jupiter from 2023 into Election Year 2024, with the planet's Zodiacal journey having begun on January 1, 2023 with Jupiter @1Aries (just beyond the Aries Point), and ending December 31, 2023 with Jupiter @5Taurus. His stay in comfort-loving Taurus extends until he reaches Gemini in late May 2024, a sign through which Jupiter tends to relate to others with his more carefree and loquacious qualities, but the Mercurial placement can also be on the superficial side at times. And obviously, travel-loving Jupiter in chatty Gemini suggests a larger volume of communications including the technological kind, plus, an emphasis may become more obvious regarding Jupiter's hierophant leanings. Then look below for a view of the DC Horoscope of the very moment that transit Jupiter reaches his shadow degree where he turned Rx on September 4, 2023 (@15Tau34), for then he'll begin to lumber forward into new territory. Because after all, Jupiterian realms tend to run more smoothly when Mr. Moneybags moves in direct motion so the chart (March 23, 2024) is added below the dual charts, with study notes penned on. But first, some basics concerning Jupiter and Venus, with finances and funding as key elements, of course, but also Jupiter is active in such fields of endeavor as politics, legal affairs, religion, broadcasting, propaganda, ideology, philosophy, higher education, corporate enterprises, travel, and discovery. Then with Venus on a positive level: relationships, diplomacy, beauty, and luxury are involved. The negatives such as jealousy, envy, and revenge you already know. With negative Jupiter, it's often a question of overdoing issues, recklessly speculating, and/or overpromising with overblown, grandstanding, or boasting rhetoric. So basically, Jupiter can represent the windbag personality who loves the sound of his own voice. You know the type.

Potentials of Jupiter in Venus-ruled Taurus include:

Generosity; liberality; trusteeship; love of comfort; the capacity for enjoyment; financial interests; wastefulness; illness through excessive pleasures; the urge to gain financial security (R. Ebertin). I would add humor and comedy to his list!

Then there's Venus, symbolizing smaller amounts of money - and showing her more avaricious side when in Taurus - but in Leo, Venus indicates a love of luxury, romance, pleasure, games, and entertainment.

September 4, 2023: Jupiter turns Retrograde ('Rx') @15Tau34 between Moon and Uranus (grand ambitions: to shut down the US government? or to improve the economy?); on December 30, 2023, Jupiter turns Direct @5Tau34 with the 12th house Moon @25Leo25 as the focus of activity (as handle planet of a Bucket pattern; 12th house = behind the scenes; are ladies and/or their issues secretly directing the action?).

And of course, manipulative Pluto, still within orb of our transformative US Pluto Return/s, has the most filthy lucre of all: there 'he' is, sneaking around the IC, the Foundation of the Matter, as Jupiter turned Rx September 4th. Then by the end of 2023, there's Venus in Jupiter-ruled Sagittarius conjunct the IC instead which suggests that things may pan out optimistically, after all, if the stability of US currency isn't under more threat than usual of being discarded.

Annoyingly, those familiar with the natal positions of Trump's planets will recognize that the Leo Moon reflects the abrasive rising Mars in his natal chart. Try as I might, the blighter's natal and progressed planets continue to assert themselves in every horoscope I study. Have you found this to be the case, too? We should add a final note: that banking planet Jupiter turns Direct in late December 2023 while sextile US 1776 Jupiter (5Can56), and when in Taurus, Mr. Moneybags, scion of corporations everywhere, tends to treat the US Treasury and the economy fairly well - except for foreigners and their domestic shills who have a habit of raiding our coffers. Plus, our Tuberville-inspired military troubles are in desperate need of resolution since National Security is negatively affected, and Jupiter the General prefers his major role as our nation's protector rather than as a political tool for Mr. Tuberville and his comrades to utilize on behalf of America's enemies.

2023: A Summer of Kremlin Intrigue; Empires Do Fall

With continuing potentials for political shifts in Russia, a peek at a SO'W post and horoscope from June 2021 may be instructive concerning Mr. Putin who looks quite a flop for indulging his territorial urges on a global scale. China may be the one to mop up from Russia's recklessly zealous overstep. Did Vlad's military officials lie to him about the country's level of preparedness? Was it all planned that way? Is there a rat in the woodpile? Perhaps an answer is a question: which ancient governmental entity thinks strategically and plans the farthest ahead, fueled primarily by noodles?

One current factor you'll note in the chart is that transit Jupiter in Taurus since May 16th faces a 10th house line-up of year 2000 planets then in Taurus including Jupiter @17Taurus which spotlights a soon-coming Jupiter Return for the Putin regime. That's mundane Jupiter, the boundary-breaking planet of freedom and expansion in the earthly territorial sign of possession and greed, *Taurus, the preservationist.

In Taurus Jupiter Closes A Cycle for the Putin Regime

An easily reached suspicion is that the Russian regime's Jupiter Return relates directly to Putin's ill-calculated invasion and occupation of Ukraine (since February 2021). Therefore, the world (10th house) will observe how usually beneficial Jupiter, Mr. Moneybags, rewards or greases-the-skids for Mr. Putin and his underlings because with Jupiter's orbit of nearly 12 years' duration, what may be the karmically negative side of things is that a project Putin and his comrades began about 12 years ago must now be either expanded, or must be thrown over, given up on, tossed out into the dark dustbin of history, with the karma of consequences having her natural affect. Or will Putin's irrational out-of-bounds behavior be allowed to continue?

And if this cosmic circumstance represents the Kremlin (Jupiter in his corporate and political roles with a streak of codified orthodox religion donning a robe) - the Kremlin ridding their country of Vlad, the Great Miscalculator, so be it.

After all, Putin's Inauguration Horoscope of 2000 shows that his overlong regime's karmic Saturn also awaits the transit of Jupiter's wand so I expect that someone's burdens in the Putin regime will be lightened if not altogether removed! April-May 2023: Jeffrey Epstein returns to the news cycle

On April 21, 2023, transit Mercury turned retrograde in Taurus and as the Cosmos would have it, a variety of previous news makers, topics, and issues are returning to the news cycle. One such is the client list of Jeffrey Epstein whose natal horoscope is not accurately timed yet a 'noon' version can still yield information for our purposes. Follow the link for a view, natal aspects and all.

Yet one chart factor that doesn't depend on accurate timing - only a date is needed - are Eclipses and the Saros Series in which they manifest. On the biwheel image, below, there are two Solar Eclipses highlighted in orange: Epstein's natal 8 South Eclipse @27Leo31 (loss; separation), and notably an 8 South Eclipse repeats on October 2, 2024 @10Libra when perhaps more details will emerge or be leaked concerning these sorry circumstances and degraded people. The second notated Solar Eclipse is the 3 North @10Can37 (obsessions) during which Jeffrey Epstein's hanging ocurred, whether by suicide or with help. A Solar Eclipse in Moon-ruled Cancer suggests involvement with family ties and other karmic links including those with children. In Leo, a Solar Eclipse used poorly denotes pride, egocentricity, pomposity, and any other negative Leonine traits that a selfish individual decides to express, no matter the effects of his behavior upon others. And of course, Leo is a romantic, dramatic sign, and is associated with children.

So with Epstein's client list making the news once again, I've finally gotten around to publishing the following bi-wheel:

Now as you know, with Forensic Astrology, Angular planets are a prominent consideration and with "found dead" charts I've always noted the position of Mercury, planet of sight and other senses. As you see, Mercury on August 10, 2019 at 6:30 am edt was @28Can32 conjunct Epstein's 'noon' IC, the Angle of Endings. This is not conclusive by any means since we have no accurate birth time for the criminal whose links to the wealthy and well-connected of the world must have made keeping Jeffrey's mouth shut a dire necessity. A vast array of characters had mulitple reasons to keep him from talking, and hanging tends to be a favored way of accomplishing such a deed. Of course, it's possible that one can be threatened into committing suicide but I refer you to Epstein's confession about cowardice, linked, below.

Notably, the 6:30 am edt Mars-Saturn midpoint, the 'death axis' according to Reinhold Ebertin, @5Scorpio, sign of spies, spy agencies, and Big Business, opposes transit Uranus, planet of sudden attacks and disruption, so we find a picture of potentials for 'application of brute force; a case of death' (R.E.).

And yes, there are many other planetary factors squooshed upon the charts (sorry!) for those who care to read them. And admittedly there are a few contacts to the natal planets of Herr Trump sprinkled around the bi-wheel for the curious including his natal Moon-SN conjunction (opposite his Sun-NN, of course, but August 10, 2019 was a Lunar Return day for him - and it's basically a Mars Return for Trump, too); then there's the 6:30 am edt Sun-Moon midpoint @18Lib57 which landed upon Agent Orange's natal Jupiter stationed @18Lib27 in his 2nd house of Earning Ability, Possessions, and Valuables. "Joint success" (R. Ebertin) is suggested by the midpoint picture this cosmic synchronicity formed.

Now here's Jeffrey Epstein in his own words from a couple of years ago when The Guardian reported that he had told a psychologist that he was "too much of a coward" to kill himself. Two weeks later he was found dead in his prison cell after being unexplicably left unguarded for 8 hours prior to being found at 6:30 am edt on August 10, 2019. And as we know, cowards are always bullies - and young people tend to be weak enough to bully easily. The Jupiter-Uranus Conjunction of 2024

2024: A Pivotal Year for America

For future reference, this is merely a quick posting of the DC Horoscope of the next Jupiter-Uranus Conjunction of April 20, 2024 @21Tau 49:48 set for Washington DC. The word picture for "22Taurus" = "A White Dove Over Troubled Waters" which can be either a positive or negative indicator with motive being the deciding factor.

Yet as I type, society is now in the final or third stage of the current Jupiter-Uranus cycle which actually sported an extended three-fer time frame for Jupiter-Uranus issues beginning in June 2010 (conjunct the Cardinal Aries Point), September 2010 @28Pis43, and January 4, 2011 @27Pis02. Obviously, these conjunctions occurred during the presidency of Barack Obama.

Listed on the chart, lower left, are a few of the potentials for the combined energies of expansive Jupiter, the Great Benefic, and progressive if radical Uranus such as: freedom issues, group causes, and/or activities within the realms of Technology, Finance, (Politics), or Astrology, with possible breakthroughs and discoveries in Science, Medicine, or Exploration as typical outcomes. In money sign Taurus, Jupiter reaches for financial security and can be wasteful, while erratic Uranus there suggests unusual methods of gaining money, risky speculation, and/or a potential for disruptive earth changes:

Also, a few notes are penned on the chart concerning this Conjunction's Prenatal Solar Eclipse Series ('PE'), the 8 North Eclipse of April 8, 2024 which is the third 'Great American Eclipse' with its Path of Totality dividing America from the Southwest to the Northeast this time (last time in August 2017, from Oregon to South Carolina). 'Flashes of genius', 'good ideas', and 'visions' may occur under 8 North eclipses.

Also listed, upper right, is the PE of the 2024 Presidential Election; its PE @10Lib03 falls within the difficult 8 South Series of 'loss and separation' (B. Brady). As you see in this chart, Jupiter's conjunction with Uranus is the only aspect made by chart-ruler Jupiter which also rules the 4th cusp via the watery sign of Pisces. You'll note a difficult Mars-Saturn conjunction at IC along with fixed star Achernar with its keywords suggesting "crisis at the end of the river" and/or "the risk of rapid endings." Meanwhile, the Sun-Pluto square reveals someone with a "might makes right" attitude along with a deep craving for power.

VP Debate October 7, 2020: Jupiter vs Jupiter!

Astrological Jupiter: Planet of Politics, Finances, Ideology, and Expansion

August 12, 2020: Now that 2020 Democratic nominee Joe Biden has named Senator Kamala Harris as his VP choice and running mate, we can be reasonably assured that the October 7, 2020 VP Debate in Salt Lake City, Utah will be between Senator Harris and current VP Pence. If this debate is held, and if these are the two combatants, an interesting cosmic event is forecast: the natal Jupiters of Harris and Pence (1964 vs 1959) precisely oppose one another in the Zodiac - hers @24Tau00 Rx (Earth), his @24Sco40 Rx (Water). And as you undoubtedly realize, their Jupiters conjunct the natal MC-IC axis (24+ Taurus/Scorpio) of Donald Trump whose name and antics are likely to come up during the first, and perhaps the only, VP debate of 2020. Not that we need Astrology to inform us of this!

So during their Jupiterian stand-off we may notice hints of Harris' Jupiter in Taurus ('Venus') traits such as 'liberality, generosity, an urge for financial security' (hopefully extended to the American people!), but also possible are 'streaks of wastefulness and overindulgence in the finer things'. Generally, Jupiter in Taurus is trustworthy and as you know, steady, practical Taurus is a sign of preservation, growth, increase, building, and development.

Meanwhile, traits of Pence's Jupiter in Scorpio ('Mars-Pluto') include 'ruthless striving for possessions, materialism, a tendency to overrate oneself, optimism, a craving for pleasure, and an overly pronounced sexual life (oops! does Mother know? It would seem so since he can't be trusted alone with women). And as you know, sexy Scorpio is a brooding, deep thinking sign of such things as Big Business and occult study.

(To me the Harris-Pence-Jupiter situation seems a curious cosmic echo of the fact that the natal Jupiters of Speaker Nancy Pelosi and Donald Trump also precisely oppose one another across the Aries-Libra axis. So actually, with both Jupiter pairs (Aries-Libra and Taurus-Scorpio), the degree and its Sabian Symbol for each planet is the Illumination Point of the other!)
