So today, as warmongering 'world leaders' heat up their rhetoric of aggression and send NATO (and other?) troops nearer Russia in order to provoke an ill-advised confrontation that may spiral into World War III (as planned--the power elite's set is incomplete with only I and II), I am posting the NATO natal horoscope for future reference. If you enlarge the chart image you can perhaps read my typically messy notes penned on and hopefully you can see Harry Truman's natal planets (in blue), plus, today's planets (in red) entered around the chart. Note that when President Truman created NATO, transit Uranus, planet of revolution, had conjoined US natal Venus in Cancer and Truman's Venus for they are conjunct @3Cancer. This is penned on as: unusual or unexpected alliances.
And with Scorpio rising, Mars is chart-ruler (Pluto is sub-ruler) from within the 9th house of Foreign Lands so we look to the applying aspects of Mars for hints of how things will proceed for this, another example of a new world order project. Only one major (Ptolemaic) aspect is made by warrior Mars and that's an opposition to Jupiter (1A57), marking the organization as an inflationary entity that assumes (or allows others to assume) that it is capable of greater achievements than it is. Actions tend to go too far too fast so that control isn't possible in spite of any grandstanding or bravado. Unpleasant outcomes are usually the expected result especially since Mars is in Moon-ruled Cancer.
This denotes that the forces of NATO don't have a lot of perseverance or self-control and actions tend to be impulsive or rash with instincts in the lead rather than following well thought out plans. Such tendencies may have improved over the decades but that is what its natal chart tells me.
Now I checked NATO's progressions and Solar Arc charts for today but don't have time now to type about them though I wish to close with one Angular contact to the natal chart--NATO's Solar Arc Chiron today sits upon its natal IC @8AQ27 and the emphasized Sabian Symbol with its political flavor may give us clues about the current troop build-up and threats of aggression that NATO is being used for in order to bully Russia's Putin (not that he doesn't deserve it--I don't know if he does or doesn't--but that's NATO and Washington propaganda in the article linked above):

Based on her natal planets and my long term observations of her and Bill's past and present actions, I would have to say that Hillary Clinton is about taking power and following the global government script which will make pretense necessary on progressive (and other) issues. There are many ruses that are typically used in Washington DC--legislatively, certainly (well, she tried to get the bill passed, etc, as Farron mentions, above) and it seems to this astrologer that her natal conservative and stilted Mercury-Saturn square is prominent when it comes to campaign promises and other rhetoric, platforms, negotiations, deals, and other Mercurial endeavors. Her rhetoric may temporarily shift but underlying views Do Not.
And if we also consider the Fixed (rigid, set in its ways) energy of secretive Scorpio (including her stationary Mercury @21Scorpio and conservative authoritarian Saturn in Leo near her Mars-Pluto conjunction--more intense, focused Scorpio notes!) then changing her views and plans is not only difficult for her but, if pushed, represents a superficial exercise resentfully attempted in order to achieve her goal of controlling others and consolidating her power--in the White House.
But that's only one voter's opinion!

With today being July 4th I've been reading about the War of 1812 which I know very little about. Fought between American patriots and British forces, the Royal Navy, and certain Native American tribes wanting a federation of their own (with British encouragement in order to limit US expansion), the War began on June 18, 1812 and ended by Britain and American signing the Treaty of Ghent. It was events of this war that inspired Francis Scott Key to pen The Star Spangled Banner, our national anthem.
And what is the curious synchronicity between the War of 1812 and the summer of 2010? Perhaps you remember another act of British aggression that occurred in Summer 2010--the Deepwater Horzozon Oil "Spill" in the Gulf of Mexico which we lay at the feet of the British Petroleum Oil Company. Or should I say, the BP Corporation? Here's my original post on BP's oil disaster which includes the Independence horoscope of Mexico and the horoscope of the Deepwater Horizon Oil Fiasco itself with power asteroid Hidalgo rising.
Both events, the start of the War on June 18, 1812 and the massive 2010 oil leak (in which Halliburton also played a major role) that attacked the US coastline occurred under the influence of Solar Eclipses in the 12 South Saros Series.
And so the theme of 12 South applies to the War of 1812 of British aggression and the BP oil attack of 2010--the first event involved France, the second involved Mexico: long term draining issues at first seem worse then suddenly clear with successful outcomes. In 1812, 12S fell @22Pisces which suggests sea and naval action; in 2010 12S fell @19Cancer, another watery, oceanic hint plus 19 Cancer+ rounded up hits a difficult fixed star, Castor with its potentials for murder, loss, and/or the crippling of limbs (A. Louis). BP cut corners and people died, if you remember. And of course, the financial issue of trade lies beneath both events.
So it seems that yours truly is on Britain's case this Independence Day! And here I'm fussing against The Empire in spite of the genealogy research I've done lately into my own English roots. Could it be I fight against myself?

August 5, 2011: Jupiter @9Taurus21; Juno @2Libra38 (conjunct US natal Midheaven, the Goal Point, in our 'Sibly chart' of July 4, 1776 with 12 Sagittarius rising--where transit Saturn Rx is again crossing, a period when the US is expected to take responsibility for past and present actions rather than denying guilt, when anxiety is evident in the populace and also within government officials (ex: Hillary being allegedly held to account by the FBI email server probe), and when karma becomes the b*tch that she is as our nation (and other nations and peoples via their own neglect of Saturnian principles such as honesty and reliability) reaps what's been sown.
Tragically for the world's innocent who are caught in a round of the power elite's endless retaliation, the reaping can include blow back thanks to corporate Washington's export of violence, fraud, occupation, oppression, and globalism. All this makes me wonder, what hath man wrought upon humanity? Especially since karma is the b that she is.
Although it's only July 3, 2016, there have been a myriad of early manifestations of the realism/tackling the truth/seeing an old situation for what it really is themes contained within the September 1, 2016 Solar Eclipse @9Virgo. One is an article (based on a book) about seeing the Invisible Hand of Washington for what it really is. And the hand is rather crabby and grabby, as you may imagine.
As previously mentioned, the upcoming 19 North Solar Eclipse in Virgo, a Zodiacal sign intimately associated with the founding of Masonic Washington DC, will provide background influence for both Election Day 2016 and Inauguration 2017 as their 'Pre-Natal Eclipse Saros Series' (aka, PE).
However, the July RNC and DNC will both fall under the auspices of the current 18 South Solar Eclipse which occurred on March 9th @18Pis55. Its themes include anguished endings/separations/partings but new situations lead to positive outcomes. It will be interesting to see how the political conventions turn out with such a background influence--and how Hillary Clinton fares after her 'interview' with the FBI on Saturday (7.2.16). Astrologically things didn't look overly negative for her imho--quite positive indicators actually, and with interviewing, testifying Mercury out-of-bounds, she's probably in the political, financial, and social realms of untouchable. That's if confronting Mars @23Scorpio conjoining her natal South Node, a Saturnian point of separation and neurosis, only shows her again meeting (SN) with law officials (Mars) of the FBI.
Perhaps the September 19N Solar Eclipse with its 'truth tackling' ability will aid the outcome of her email server (Benghazi) scandal and no charges will be filed against the 2016 candidate who has asserted that she's 'the outsider' in the race because she would be the first-ever woman president--and lady Venus as Evening Star in November requires that an outsider is the victor!
